An amazing place! A purpose built "village" of Designer Shops. Very clean and well set out. A lot of thought went into the planning and I would recommend a visit there. Plenty of places to eat around it....even an IMAX Cinema where we ended our shopping trip. Well worth the trip.

Huge collection of designer outlets. You will find almost all the brands here. As being outlet prices, some brands got further reduction in prices. There few restaurants as well, including McDonald’s Burger King, as well as some libanese, Indian and Mexican restaurants. The prices are bit high. We tried burritos and tacos, not up to par quality. A big playground for the kids. Ample free parking, still fully booked due to the weekend.

Traveling back from our Easter holidays, we stopped off at the Designer Outlet at Cheshire Oaks. It is a great place shopping, it also has a large number of eating places, more than ample car parking. There are some fantastic shops for everyone's taste. There is a great play area for younger people.

Brilliant day out at Cheshire Oaks! Our first visit! So many shops and places to eat! We were there around 5 hours! And then ate at Pizza Express! I absolutely love how clean and tidy the place is kept including the toilets! Would definitely go again!

Comparatively, the outlet is more focus on more day-to-day brands and home stuff. You may expect fewer 1st tier luxury brand here, but more lifestyle thing that you may even need. Most of the shop offers very reasonable price with good products here, from kitchen stuff to apparel. It’s really easy to hunt for something with value of money.

Definitely the best outlet in the UK with the most variety of designer shops and plenty of free parking spaces. Plenty of restaurants and cafes for proper sit in dining or quick bites. Perfect day out for those who love shopping.

Lovely place for shopping with loads of shops and plenty of parking space. Awesome food with halal and vegan options as well and really well maintained place with cleaning staff on site. Play area for kids on site too. Every kind of shopping you can do on this place. My go to place.

Variety of Designer outlets are showcasing their collections. Ambiance is quite aesthetically presented which really attract the commuters to enjoy their visit doing shopping whilst dine in any restaurant of their own choice with lots of different cuisines and lot more to offer.

A lovely place to shop and find some great purchases off the high street for a much cheaper price. Easy to navigate through the outlet, clear signs and lots of places to park your car. It was also beautifully and neatly decorated for Christmas which was wonderful to see. Great mix of shops and also restaurants.

Cheshire oaks is an amazing place if you want to buy designer clothes in style! Plenty of car parking! Really nice restaurants (especially tortilla which has yummy burritos!), really nice designer labels (like new balance, Lyle and Scott, The north face, superdry and etc!) and really nice views in the night! Fact: parking’s free. Also it has a play area for kids while I can sip a coffee and watch my child! Plus I like the idea of it being outdoor because, really, you must be bored of indoor malls, right? Cheshire oaks is an amazing place perfect for the whole family!

A must-go place if you’re looking for bargains in luxurious goods to home stuff. Very well set out and clean and tidy throughout. Lots of places to eat and even a cinema. Have a very well maintained playground for kids. Parking can be a problem if you arrive in midday.

Brilliant selection of shops for bargain hunters… Cheshire Oaks is a must-visit, we’ve been 6 times in the last few years and always come away with a car full of goodies! The selection of shops is brilliant here and the offers you can get are even better - you can also get a 10% discount card from guest services if you stay at the local Travelodge or are a blue light card member, worth knowing! Parking here can be a bit bedlam, especially if you visit during the peak hours, luckily this time we arrived 10 minutes after opening so we didn’t struggle to get a space, I will just mention though - the spaces are tiny, not great for big cars. There’s a decent choice of food outlets, I do wish there were a couple more places though, some more nice sit down restaurants would be great. The outlet is always clean and tidy which is nice, it’s rare that you’d see any rubbish laying around.

Always love visiting Cheshire Oaks - a huge selection of shops, the majority of which are dog friendly so neither of us need to wait outside. The big downside, however, is the traffic issue. Whenever we visit on a weekend, unless we come at opening, traffic into Cheshire oaks is almost a standstill, roundabouts where nobody moves etc. Needs some other solution to work. Equally, once inside the outlet, would actually be easier if there was a general one way system - obviously if you're after a particular store nobody should be expected to walk all the way round to get to it, but as most people would be causally walking round the entire place browsing, it can get so chaotic with people walking both ways, would actually be a lot easier if most people were heading in the same direction, like places did during COVID. Cleanliness etc is all 10/10, staff are friendly, plenty of food outlets as well as shopping, really enjoy going and can take the dog which is a plus

Weekend visiting the daughter and hubby was supposed to be relaxing, but they had other plans. Shopping plans. And guess where they dragged me along? A designer outlet next door. How convenient. I'm not a big fan of shopping, in case you couldn't tell. So I had to endure a whole day of browsing through fancy stores that sell overpriced stuff I don't need. At least there was plenty of free parking, so I didn't have to pay extra for this torture. The good thing about the place was restaurant choice, but it was so crowded on Sunday that we had to wait in line for ages. The prices were not bad, but I didn't see many people carrying heavy bags. Maybe they were smarter than us and saved their money for something else. Like a movie ticket. That's right, there was a cinema nearby, and I managed to sneak away for a couple of hours while the ladies were busy shopping. It was the best part of the day. I got to watch some thriller and forget about the shopping nightmare for a while. The worst part was the WiFi and mobile reception. It was terrible. I couldn't check anything online or call anyone. It was like being in a black hole. How am I supposed to compare prices or find reviews or look for coupons? And how am I supposed to meet up with them when we're done? It was a mess. Oh, what a day! I hope they appreciate what I did for them. Next time, I'm staying home.

Excellent place too spend a rainy day all the shops and restaurants are under cover all the high Street outlet shops are there some really good bargains to be had lots of parking there if you go at the weekend get there early it gets really busy would definitely recommend

This is a really good place to carry out shopping. Not only do they have plenty of outlet stores to buy from they also have normal retail stores too..! Plenty of parking available including disabled and child friendly bays👍..! Toilets are relatively clean given the amount of public traffic going into them. Lots of eateries available too.. But AVOID lunchtime..or you may end up waiting in a queue outside. Going at Christmas time is nice as they make it feel very festive and they have a mini German market going on. Get there as early as possible as it does get very busy..!

Had a really great day here. Plenty of high end shops, with some great savings to be had. I was here for the day for Christmas shopping and the trip was a success!! Lovely atmosphere, with plenty of effort made to show that it was nearly Christmas. Parking was easy, there are a huge amount of spaces, but these do fill up quickly, so get there early. Will definitely be returning.

Nicely decorated for Christmas, lots of places to eat and a variety of things to do for entertainment. The wheel was reasonably priced, only £6 per adult and we went around 3 times. We went on a Friday afternoon and the queue for the wheel wasn’t very long. The market was pretty but I will say not many stalls to choose from.

Always love to visit when down from Scotland. Great selection of designer shops and various eateries. Visited over the festive period this year and it was beautifully decorated. Good parking.

My destination for weekends generally once a month mainly as a day out for the kids to enjoy either a nice meal and sometimes can find nice clothes. About 40min drive which is not too bad but we can find perhaps everything here. I’ve been to Bicester outlet and I have to say this place is much better, offering more variety of brands and activities and not do many tourists compared to Bicester. Definitely recommend

The largest designer outlet in the UK, the Cheshire Oaks was the main reason why I moved to Ellesmere Port. With several shops and restaurants, you're bound to stay the day to be able to look at everything. From high fashion to sportswear, or accessories, you'll find gifts for everyone. Most of the stores are dog friendly and wheelchair spacious. There are 3 family rooms in the outlet to change your little ones (behind Radley, next to Leon and next to Pizza Express) with the former two also having a comfy chair for mom's to be able to breastfeed (I've also done it in several of the cafes/restaurants and never had an issue). It's beautifully decorated for Xmas now with the 90feet tall Xmas tree and ferry wheel.

Such a large selection of shops. Reasonable prices. Much better than Bicester. Ample parking The Christmas Market area was really nice. Recommend the mulled wine at the Winter Village

This has a massive free multi-storey carpark that’s well laid out and easy to use and there’s a huge play park area (also free) for kids big and small. There are high end shops and bargain shops also so a wide variety for you to choose from. The Christmas ornaments and decorations are lovely also!

Kids loved it. Stayed about 3 hours. Outdoor play area and Pelican feed was good too. Took own picnic as restaurant is expensive but branded ice creams £2.50 similar to other tourist attractions. Tea £2.85, coffee £3 something. Parking is payable £2.75 but sign says it all goes back into animal care. We used kids pass so for the money was a brilliant day.

We've been before and enjoyed the experience. This time the addition of the Lego models and fact hunt made our stay last longer. We went around a couple for times and so we're there for around 4 hours. Definitely recommend. The main tank and viewing tunnel glass is spotless when compared with other aquariums we have visited.

Friendly staff and an easy route round. Lots of different animals to see and read about and an incredible, long underwater tunnel to get up close with all the sharks and rays. They also have crocodiles and pelicans which I haven't seen in an aquarium before so that was really interesting! They hold great talks and feeds throughout the day in all parts. Definitely worth a visit

The aquarium is quite big with loads of species of fishes. The underwater safari is my favourite part of the aquarium. There is a fast food restaurant on the ground floor with a view of the aquarium to the right. On the day we went, the toilet was not clean and was really messy, not sure if this was a one off as it’s expected to be cleaned regularly as loads of children visit the facility.

I have Been coming to this aquarium for a long time now. I love it and Both my kids have been coming since birth, they also love it. Especially on the quieter days as they can move around more freely without getting lost amongst folk. 🐟🦈🐠 It’s Smaller than some aquariums we’ve been to, but it’s still got lots to see and explore, especially with the tunnel under the sharks/tank (it’s really long and definitely our favourite part) It Can get busy at certain times as most places do, especially in the school holidays, but you still get to see everything. Food in the cafe isn’t to bad either. It’s also got good access for wheelchairs/prams. Everyone is always really friendly and helpful even in busier periods 🦈🐟🐠

Nice place to visit for a couple of hours. The only thing that was disappointing was the extortionate price for entry... £71 for 2 adults and a toddler... We were already there and my toddler wanted very much to see the fish and would have been very upset should we have left. So by the time you get there it's too late. So heads up in the pricing. Other than that, the usual fishes on display, wander through and around the aquarium. Nice large fish viewing window at one point with a short talk from an aquarium guide about the fish inside. Nice play park at the back inside. Worth it for the 2 hours we were there, however cannot return based on the price alone. There are a lot of other things you can do a lot cheaper, a lot more entertaining and for a longer time with children than visiting this place.

Lovely aquarium, the show in the aqua theatre was fun to watch. Had so much fun walking around and looking at all the animals. Im a sucker for pressed pennies too and I saw three machines (and got a penny from each one of course) Loved the little Easter event they had running (you have to find the carrots that are dotted around the aquarium with animal names on them). Me and my seven year old had a blast

Had an absolutely amazing time here with our 5 month old! We weren’t sure how much he would get out of it but he loved it! The place was really easy to get around with a pram and really well signposted so you can find everything you want to see. There are portholes in the restaurant that look out into the main aquarium which makes for a totally unique dining experience. The main attraction is of course the main tunnel, which you can go around as many times as you like. Our little one was totally blown away by the fish swimming overhead and all around. Highly recommended as a day out for anyone with little ones!

Great aquarium , had a lovely time lots of different fish and I enjoyed the variety of environments they had displayed. They had a good amount of land animals too ( reptiles). Only downside was not sure if the octopus was on holiday and some of the display signs didn't fit there case

Good place to take the kids. They’ll be entertained. Wide variety of animals. Interactive talks that were on throughout the day. Fun gift shop. No wait to get inside considering it was a Saturday in the summer holidays. Would visit again!

Quite a small aquarium but a lot to look at! Very enjoyable for the family, but I do recommend visiting on a school weekday as it's much less busy and claustrophobic. Had an upstairs (entrance) and downstairs (cafe), with a lift hidden in a corridor for those with prams and wheelchairs.

A good aquarium, but like most you could quickly walk through if you don't take your time. It's worth looking at the programme and the shows/talks - my 7 y/o particularly liked the dive talk - and taking time at the displays. There is a small outdoor playground, cafe and ice cream stand as well as gift shop. There was ample parking on site.

Done the shark awareness day,was met by Sophie and taken to the classroom then one of the best organised days I have ever had,from feeding the rays and a guided tour of the whole site even behind d the scenes, to final opening 40mins in the tank with the Sharks. I will be going g back to do all again for about £270 for the day I felt it was worth every penny

Me and my friends went here (19 years old) and had a lovely experience. It’s very informative and they have a wide array of animals. We did think it was quite expensive but I suppose it covers the cost of looking after the fish so I don’t mind.

A nice place to visit with kids. Tickets are a bit expensive compared to the small collection of exhibits. Look for the timing of different shows during the day, which can be found on the website. Don't miss the demonstration by the divers feeding the sharks and sting rays. They also provide diving opportunities for novices.

Very quick to get around . Didn't notice much info to read. Looking tired and well worn and worst of all the moving floor wasn't working. No signs or explanations. The only fresh looking part was the shop. Had pizza in the cafe which tasted weird. Chips where good though. Was very busy. Tanks and fish seemed happy 😊

I love this place and can spend hours here but you need to take your time otherwise you can be done in 30 minutes. Take time to sit and really look at the exhibits and you'll have a rewarding day

I love this place!! Its lovely to see such a range of animals, from tetras and sharks to frogs and pelicans. I really enjoyed my time here though it took me a while to work out the map 😅. The only downside I would say are the prices as well as seeing some of the animals exhibiting atypical behaviours but I'm not sure that's entirely avoidable in captivity unfortunately.

Unfortunately many of the exhibits were closed due to work being undertaken. That said it's was still a very interesting and informative visit. The buildings are all very clean and we'll kept and the on site cafe has a great selection at reasonable prices. The added bonus is the fact that the entrance ticket entitles you to revisit as often as you like in a 12 month period. We look forward to revisiting later in the year and in better weather.🙂

Steampunk Sunday at Ellesmere port Boat Museum was a brilliant day out to see the narrow boats and meet new friends at a Steampunk gathering in the sunshine. We'll organised day with good weather.

Beautiful place where they've preserved the details of water ways. We were lucky to go in on a day where people were dressed in Victorian style and enjoyed the guided tour. Highly recommend this place and the tickets are valid for a year. Lovely cafe as well and what's even better is that it is dog friendly

Really interesting museum. As with so many of this type of museum, it's the volunteers that really make it come alive. Hats off to the four chaps in the engine room! Highly recommend. Happy dog too.

Excellent visit to this museum, we enjoyed it so much we are planning to return soon. This particular weekend had the Easter narrow boat gathering.

I visited the museum whilst on a respite break away over in Liverpool. I’ve always wanted to come along and see Ellesmere Port. It was easy to get to from the MerseyRail Station although I’d recommend you take the walk down the Shropshire Canal as it was a much more pretty journey. The place was huge, I wasn’t expecting the museum to be as expansive as it is. It has a good mix of traditional exhibits and modern interactive kit to play with.

This is a lovely experience and the tickets last for 12 months so you can keep visiting. Plenty to see and a great cafe right on the canal side where you can sit and even watch people going past on their barges. There is a lock to watch the people on the barge use. Go and see it all.

Excellent Little place, interactive for children. Nice little park for them, cheap annual ticket and perfect location to watch the big oil tankers coming in on the Manchester ship canal. If you're lucky enough to see barges coming through that's nice. I repeat such good value and the cafe is good too. Very good 👏🏼

A brilliant day out. Lots of interesting historic buildings. A great display of old boats with lots of useful information. Really good cafe with great views. Your entry ticket is valid for a year, which is really useful.

Our kids love the play area down at the boat museum, never too busy. They enjoy seeing the locks being opened and us parents enjoy the bacon butties at the cafe. Take a look at the old fashion arcades too!

Interesting visit. More about the supporting infrastructure than the boats themselves, with a working blacksmiths, engine shed (power hall) and a row of terraced dockworkers cottages preserved in the past. There is a nice play area for the kids. I was pleased that I could take my dog everywhere, including the nice cafe. Unfortunately, the island warehouse exhibition hall was closed but we were given tickets to come back again when it is open.

A wonderful gem of a Museum, very interesting if you aren't familiar with the history of Ellesmere port. Ticket were £25 for two adults without concessions. Parking is free and plentiful. Our visit took around 2 hours. The cafe is good, and has plenty of seating outside for a sunny day. Well worth a visit.

Almost got locked in it was that good. Recently went to an open day to see the replacement of some lock gates which was really interesting.

We had a wonderful family day out. So much to see & the chocolate theme was good. With letter hunt, candy floss, fondue, chocolate shots, stories, play area etc. The volunteers were all lovely & friendly. Free ample car park & pay only one admittance for a year. We will return & recommend to friends & family.

The athletics track is the home of West-Cheshire AC. We borrowed the well equipped 6-lane running track, which is in reasonable condition, for a Deeside club session... shhh, don't tell! The rubberised surface has some give, meaning it is good for middle-distance & okay for top-end sprint speed, but can sap the energy of wheelchair-based athletes a bit. Good quality changing facilities are available in the main building by the car park. On race days, toilets are also available in the club-house by the track.

I absolutely love Ellesmere Port Sports Village! It's a top-notch facility with something for everyone. The gym is well-equipped, the swimming pool is clean and inviting, and the sports courts are in excellent condition. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. It's a fantastic place to stay active and enjoy a variety of sports and fitness activities. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great sports and leisure facility in the area!

EPSV has good facilities and good management. I find the monthly subscription good value for money. The swimming pool is good and reasonably clean. The water temperature is kept at 29.1 or slightly higher. However, only two staff members have smiled at me. I would have given 5 stars if the staff were more welcoming.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The gym is pretty good, and the pool is full size. It's just lacking a jacuzzi, steam room, and a well run cafe with a menu and opening times

The studio / class facilities are good but the gym is very disappointing. A varied range of equipment but poorly laid out, lack of aircon and the new cardio equipment already creaking and clunking does not make you excited to use this Brio. There's others in the group with better selection and facilities

Good all round sports centre. Plenty of classes to choose from. Could do with waiting list option resurrected. All facilities in reasonable shape and kept pretty clean considering how many people use them. Staff helpful. Coffee shop good, although recently it hasn't opened due to staff shortage from annual leave. Not why staff are allowed to take leave at the same time. All in all pretty good value.

Great staff and great facilities. I was given a gym tour by a man named Bradley who went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable to use the gym, kindly explaining and demonstrating on how to use all of the equipment. I would highly recommend

Amazing! My daughter does gymnastics here and there's plenty tondo whilst I wait. The gym is good, cafe, or I could watch basketball.

It's a moderate sized gym but it has all the equipment needed. Some of the staff are lovely and some are terrible. Any account issues though even when you're membership is fully funded they'll deny access and take weeks to sort out.

Went as an away supporter for the Cheshire Phoenix V Bristol Flyers basketball game. Good result for the flyers in the pre season warm up. The place itself is clean enough and the staff friendly. The seats are plastic and sitting for over an hour does get uncomfortable, I would recommend a seat cushion.

Good facilities, toilets in the changing room could do with a refresh. Kids usually love coming here but the pool temperature is way too cold, had to get out after 30 minutes as kids were turning blue it was so cold.

Two stars only because place looks modern and clean. If not that two factors, it would have been 1 star. Lady on reception didn't made me feel welcome, as I approached she answered greeting after few very long seconds... It was my first time there and she unfortunately didn't explain any rules to me or instructed where I have to go. I wanted to use gym too, but unfortunately it wasn't possible as you have to book induction that cost 18 pounds. I think it's too much. Cafe was closed.

I was referred to Brio by my GP after suffering a stroke. The care and attention shown by the team from my initial phone call and enquiry to actually being shown around, given a 1:1 personal training plan and being shown how to use all the gym equipment, to asking at reception for a 20p for the lockers to swim...nothing was to much. Every member of staff I spoke to was cheerful or could answer my questions. The pool staff gave advice, provided equipment I needed- going that extra mile. To top it all off, an immaculately clean and well stocked Costa Coffee was perfect place to finish my morning . Thanks Brio EP, highly recommend

I used to come here until I had to leave because i moved to Manchester. Since then i have joined Virgin Active so I’d thought I’d do a review to discuss the pros and cons of Brio. Pros: - It’s more affordable compared to what i pay at Virgin - it’s open nice and early in the morning - Pool is a decent size - Gym is a good size - The centre itself is big and provides a lot for the surrounding areas - I like the radio on whilst swimming that they provide Cons: - Needs a steam room and Sauna in the swimming facilities. It would’ve made a massive difference because since i joined Virgin it’s something I can’t do without after a big workout - Equipment is outdated, Technogym is probably the best equipment in the industry. - Hair dryers need improving, I don’t know if anything has changed since but when I was there it was just a hair dryer with a pipe attached. Proper hair dryers are needed. But other than that, it did me good and I appreciate the friendly staff there.

I took my boy swimming here and due to the pools shocking temperature of 11 degrees he went fully blue after 5 minutes. He was later found to have hypothermia and severe difficulty breathing. He unfortunately passed away later. Fly high Tobi 🙏 🪦 🕊

Tried calling 48 times to see if I could book a court to play basketball. I called a 49th time while I was stood outside looking through the window. To my surprise nobody was there. Meaning for the hour I was trying to call them nobody was there to answer. Surely someone would have heard the phone ring that many times and answer it. I couldn’t even check in their website as my account is locked and I needed them to unlock it. But I can’t even do that if they aren’t answering the phone. I also submitted a contact form on their website over a month ago and still not had a reply.

Went to the olde red lion for quiz night (Monday) with some friends, the pub has a lovely community atmosphere. Really enjoyed myself and will definitely be returning!

My favourite local live music venue with a great selection of real ales and music to satisfy all genres. Staff are always happy, especially the managers Louise and Chris 👌👍👏👏👏👏

So just been kicked out of the Olde Red Lion because we have a dog! He is very well behaved and caused no issues, no barking or anything. He was on his lead and under the table not causing any trouble with people stopping and saying hello. Today we have been to the White Lion, Halfway House and the Chimneys where we had food, and all of them welcomed well behaved dogs. So dog lovers in Ellesmere Port be aware the Oldie Red Lion is very Olide fashioned in its ways! We shall never return, sad times when people look to dogs for company and their mental health more than ever these days.

Friendly staff, good selection of beers. Beer garden at back with heaters for those chillier days. Small beer garden out front also to watch the world go by. Plenty of space inside as well.

Great place to chill and dogs are very welcome. Made the end of a dog walk a very chilled and relaxing time

Great place to visit went to the last show only thing is they need to get on board with the snacks / food and beverages put in maybe a burger van tea / coffee vans etc queue for the cafe to much on a hot day.

Today was the monthly open day for the site. A £5.00 admission fee gave entry to the hangar and viewing of a 3D recreation plus a guided history tour and the air raid experience. Further open says are on the last Sunday of each month except December. I am a volunteer at Hooton.

Fabulous day out. So much to see all the wonderful aircrafts cars, bicycles. Authentic raid shelter. Very informative museum with photos & aerial shots of the history throughout the years.nice cafe with two lovely ladies selling coffee and cakes And all the smiling friendly volunteers so knowledgeable enthusiastic thank you so much 👏

Really interesting site, lots of history to the location from the racecourse, hooton Hall, to the war hangers and air field/ runways. The remaining hangers house lots of history and amazing vehicles and restoration projects too. Open last Sunday of each month (unsure about in winter months though).

Hooton Park was the first Royal Flying Corps base opened in 1917, the preserved and restored roofing supporting trestles, show how the wide open space they create within the hangars allowed an unobstructed area for housing and moving aeroplanes. This venue has open days for view a small selection of yesteryear items and vehicles including aeroplanes.

Very knowledgeably even when we were late and just had 15 minutes to look at the museum. I found very interesting and will go back when we have a lot more time. Thank you everyone

Played in mid December, the course itself is nice to play, it's a pleasure to walk around and is fairly flat. The challenge is playing when the course gets wet. No puddles, but boggy grass all over, making it like treacle to walk through. Saying that, it was open when many other courses are closed.

The course is good value for a tenner, however the lack of signs is shocking you have no idea where the next tee is. The course should have been closed today, it was sooooo boggy and wet. The fairways are in poor condition and I understand it's winter time but some of the greens aren't looked after at all. Will try again in the summer when it's better conditions. However it may be my last visit though!

This was the venue following a funeral. The room was appropriately dressed which was a nice touch. Toilets really need a makeover. Bar was well stocked and reasonable prices. Tea, coffee and cold buffet provided.

Went for a knock on an afternoon after a few dry days. This course drives me mad (pun intended) when it's maintained its a great muni course with a variety of holes. It just feels like if a bit more care went into the maintainace it would make it a much more worthwhile visit, sadly today I felt that was not the case. The whole course was littered with grass clippings everywhere, it was ridiculous 🙄 some places there was huge clumps piled up in between tee and fairway. The machinery used has left the course in places really uneven with thick tyre tracks in ruining the course. Most bunkers have no sand in, one was flooded and the one next to it not, weird. Some greens had tyre tracks on which i know is out there hands, but other greens are thread bare, annoying as some them were superb and well kept. Hopefully in the summer it may improve, and for a tenner it's probably about right value wise.

Booked on the 18th for weekend golf with a buggy only to be told they have over booked the buggies out. Guess the members come first. So if you have booked online with a buggy don't expect one when you get there.

Visited the course for a round and to check out a potential membership, found the 18 hole course to be lovely with some superb holes & various challenges, I can imagine it plays really well on a sunnier day. Food, drinks & access to the onsite gym are very reasonably priced & the members very friendly. The staff there create a warm & friendly atmosphere however I was a bit perturbed by the way some of the team were speaking to other members of staff in front of the patrons, still giving 5 stars & will hope that I don't have to hear any foul language on my next visit. Overall however it was a great day out & would recommend visiting no matter what handicap you play off.

Greens and tee’s in poor condition, toilets and changing facilities hygiene quite low always smell, car park lots of pot holes and corse destroyed by the buggy’s as is mostly quite damp

Not a great experience. The course isn't in great condition but has improved more recently. However, very little (if any) standards enforced on the course - last summer on a nice warm day, I teed off behind a 5 ball that shared 2 sets of clubs, 3 t-shirts and a cool box of beers - I ended up skipping almost all of the front 9 to avoid a couple of groups that were similar.

Had my daughter's birthday party here very good for functions and also for cabery nights

Very good municipal course and very friendly club house. There is a membership scheme and there is a Woosnam Golf Academy on site. Well maintained and some challenging holes.
