Well this hotel is disappointing for me. The first reason is, we took it for a jacuzzi and the water was cold. I asked to fix that, they did but didn't tell me how. Next morning again cold water. so for us jacuzzi was useless. The room was big clean nice but it smelled like sewage. At first I thought it might be from the bathroom, but no. the whole room smelled very bad. the sound insulation is very bad. the first night I couldn't sleep because of the music from below and the second night we heard the neighbors in a very unpleasant act. Service was good. Breakfast was good and the location perfect but I do not have wish to be back.and this is not a resort. We went on the third day to the next resort for the same price for all inclusive and much more.

Horrible.. We chose this hotel because of its location, here the advantages of it end.. It is a 3 star hotel, I understand that, but it doesn't mean that it can be filthy. Ripped sheets, dirt in the bathroom, shower drain is stuck, air conditioner is noisy as many comments below say. I was ashamed because I brought my family for their vacation there. So we had two rooms. And this is for the price they ask.

Great location and great rooms. I think they were just updated so everything was fresh and clean. Service was ok parking is a bit of a mess having to call then drive down a walking path and pay extra 20€. Dinner was great and service was ok. Gin station with fresh cookies was a nice touch. Cleaning lady was awesome and insisted on changing our towels. We liked that walking path forward Bol had many options to stop in for drinks and food and beach was awesome. Not hotel fault but it’s way too commercialized.

Visited the beach restaurant as a group of 5. The pasta and fries were good, so was the presentation. They could be more generous with the amount of carbonara, not gonna lie. Everything else on the menu was obviously frozen food. Definitely avoid the burgers though, unless you like SPAM for your “meat”patty and dry bread to soak up the massive amount of oil.

Very disappointing, other than the good location of the hotel near the beach. I'll give you a brief review. When entering the hotel, when going by car, you have to call the receptionist of a 4-star hotel to open the gate for you. The receptionist does not pick up the phone though so you do have to walk yourself to the hotel and then back to the gate (Half a km). The same goes for departure. Another problem when going by car is that you have to pay for the parking - 20 euros per day. You will be given one key - which can be taken by only one person... The apartments are indeed good looking, fresh but damp for some reason. The clearing service - rude. Breakfast - everything cold: chicken nuggets/ fries and pizza (for breakfast?? probably left over from the day before). The hotel includes a restaurant. Terrible food! With the new owner of the hotel, the food has become gross. The meals that we ordered, many times, were given fully back, and our money was spent rather at a different place. The prices are very high - so why such a bad quality? A 4-star hotel should have it's swimming pool. We were upset when we were disgustingly kicked out, without being informed, that It was a private pool - a couple of years ago the same swimming pool was a part of the hotel. ...and all of this for such a high price?

Service, location and breakfast are great! The breakfast has vegetarian and vegan options like almond milk and fresh fruit. The hotel is not a resort as the title says. It is a room you rent to stay close to the beach. Nothing else. We stayed 1 night and parked the car in the private hotel parking. By check out we found out we needed to pay the parking (€20) even when you are a guest of the hotel?? We already stayed in a lot of resorts around the world and never did we have to pay an hotel parking. Very dissapointed about this so called resort with no services of a resort.

Very nice place and the people at the reception where amazing and super nice. Breakfast was also super good. Didn't give this place a 5 star because of the high price.

This is a very nice hotel, I am giving a good review because of the location, cleanliness and the friendly staff. Everyone from the reception desk, housekeeping to the waiters was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The gorgeous beach is a minute away and everything is nearby / within walking distance. There is a nice alley perfect for a walk to the city right below the hotel. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL - THE WORST HOTEL EVER! We booked through Booking and in the end they charged us a much higher price. The people at the front desk could not speak English well so they could not explain the situation to us. The breakfast was terrible, the restaurant smelled bad. The presentation of the food looked bad and very few options. The hotel restaurant is right next to a public pedestrian street so it is very busy, that’s the only street that takes you to the beach. The only view the hotel has of the Zlatni Rat is poor because of the trees and it is the same view that anyone passing through the pedestrian street can see. The only positive thing is that the rooms are new, although when we entered they had a welcome fruit bowl full of ants.

Great location and that's about it. The bed mattresses and pillows are very poor quality, probably the cheapest type. AC blowing right towards the beds which is not very comfortable. The breakfast is not in line with the prices the hotel is charging for the night 331 eur; poor food choices and food quality same as in a ordinary cheap hotel.

One of the main reasons we chose to visit Brač was to spend the good part of a day climbing Vidova Gora. It’s the highest point in the Adriatic and while it’s only 2,552 ft. Its 2,599 ft. prominence (height relative to the rest of the terrain) affords some remarkable views of Zlatni Rat, Bol, Hvar, and so much of the Adriatic Sea. We hiked directly from our hotel (Lifestyle Vitar) to the top and back for a 6.5 mile loop. We’re both pretty seasoned hikers but this definitely wasn’t the simplest of vacation hikes. Totally doable but bring a decent bit of water for the summer months and wear sturdy footwear/take your time coming down as there’s a lot of loose gravel. Really beautiful views from halfway up and you’re hiking along with pasture goats which was a unique experience. If you’re not into the hike, you’re able to drive up decently close to the summit and walk from there. Picnic tables at the top to enjoy a meal and take a breather. Highly recommended and one of our favorite parts of our trip to Croatia.

An absolute must while on the island. When you get to where it tells you that you have arrived, you can park and get photos, walk, and get a drink/snack. You can also continue to drive up or walk to other viewing points and so worth the visit. Its incredible

One of the most beautiful places on the Dalmatian coast: the views are simply stunning, as you get to grasp Bol, all the Dalmatian islands from the Bays of Hvar to Korcula, Peljesac, Vis, Bisevo, Lastovo and even Mljet on a clear day while also having the background of the Biokovo mountains to the East. They say that you can see Italy on a very clear day but coming there every year for 30 years I havent been able to do so, so maybe this is more of a myth. Hints: While the view from the parking grounds are stunning in itself it is worth walking up a few minutes to the antenna station as you get views to Vis and the Western part of Hvar as well. The walk from Bol is fine on a cool day but you might feel frustrated when you arrive at a parking lot after walking for hours. Go on a clear day! The best days are when a little Bora wind is blowing and clearing up the haze. On hazy days you might just be able to see Bol and parts of Hvar. Go in the early morning or evening for nice lighting. The restaurant on top has been closed for a while but as of September 2019 there is a friendly little kiosk with drinks at the parking lot. The road from the main road is quite narrow but there is ample space to evade crossing cars. It is easily doable for every type of car. Just dont drive too fast and enjoy the beautiful forrest all around.

The pace is gorgeous. It has beautiful flora, huge forest and it is the highest point on Brač and even the highest point among Croatian islands. You must visit the place and enjoy the peace and beauty of this magnificant nature. At the top the site is beautiful and magnificant. It has a wide view to the see and the islands. See you there.

We had a nice cycling-trip from pastura to the top of the mountain and enjoyed the beautiful landscapes and the impressive view very much...even it was hard to "climb the peak using a bicycle and just our "own" power...

This peak was one of the major reasons why we choose to take the car with the ferry, as it is quite a long and steep drive to the peak. We saw people cycling, but surely they were suffering a lot. The views are phenomenal, and you can clearly see Bol from here and its insanely clean water. There is a shop where you can buy ice cream or drinks from. Definitely include this when in Brac!

The views during the climb up were beautiful, but my arachnophobia did not allow me to continue the way up and we had to go back. I do not recommend a trip in the early evening when the spiders are active. I knew they would be somewhere, but I didn't expect to have a two-meter web with a huge spider above my head. I think these views would frighten even the fearless.

I'd love to give this an amazing review but after a long journey by road (DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS) and by foot (about 30 minutes downhill and 45 back up), we got to the entrance but the doors were closed and it would seem that you could not enter without waiting for a guide. The actual trail down to the site is lovely and it is magnificent to see a building in such a remote location... however, I'd have liked to have gone inside but instead we waited for 20 minutes and left without doing so.

The hike there and back is very nice. The views from the hermitage are lovely. We never got to see the inside as the tour guide was done for the day. Overall, it's a nice experience to see once. Also - definitely drive all the way down the first road to the designated parking area. I don't recommend walking from the main road, you'll be walking for ages.

Blaca Monastery, also known as Pustinja Blaca, is a historical and cultural monument located on the southern coast of Brač Island in Croatia. You need a car to get to the starting oint, an d then 30-minutes walk in low forest to get to the magnificent scene. You can visit the interior with the guide that can discliose all secrets.

An interesting part of Brac's history. Be prepared for a good hike, back up is more than a stroll. Not all of the tours are in English, we were lucky the Croatian family we were with translated. A beautiful walk and great views.

Fantastic experience and absolutely recommended. The dirt road is about 4.5km and is rough in spots. You reach a wooded parking lot where you start by foot about 30 minutes down a moderately difficult trail. The guide we had was funny but super informative about the Monastery. Museum inside is absolutely worth seeing. We took a longer more strenuous hike out the other side of the canyon with great views back to the monastery. This route out was a solid 45-60 minutes at a decent pace.

Not much to see for the trouble getting there. Bad road to the parking lot, then 45 minutes walk (more in return)

Wonderful place with an awesome exhibition. Be aware as photos are not allowed inside. You can hike from a parking place about 2.5 km away. The drive to that parking space is a bit tricky as the street is not good.

Depending which route you take in, you could miss seeing the front of the monastery. We took the route most people were taking, marked with spray paint near to the entrance of the car park, and it leads directly underneath. We were interested in seeing the front of the hermitage and not so much the tour, and took maybe a 5 minute detour to just walk across to the trails on the other side of the hill for full beautiful views of the entire thing. Not a difficult hike and we found it beautiful throughout!

A truly unique experience. HOWEVER - the monastary is definitely not open on ANY Monday!! We read reviews that only the museum was closed on Mondays - but nope - the whole thing is closed, year round, just on Mondays. Regardless the trip in was a total adventure - it was awesome. We rented a quad bike (definitely get a quad bike, we saw many cars being forced to turn around on the dirt road in). It was fun and exhilarating. The actual hike was moderate - 1.8km by my Garmin watch each way from the carpark to the monastery. We read a lot of complaining reviews about the hike - whilst it was uphill on the way back, if you have a base level of fitness and wear appropriate shoes you will find it a good walk. We did each way in 25mins (not sure who these people were saying it took 45-60mins each way 😅) Once in a lifetime experience to see and do something different and enjoy being outdoors at the same time 😁 GO - you'll love it!

Definitely worth visiting! 30 minutes hiking (mostly downhill) to the place and a bit more on the way back. Have a good sneakers and plenty of water. You can buy a bottle of water at the monastery for 30 kn. There is no toilet at the monastery.

After 5kms by car (on a rocky, narrow road), you have to walk around 2,5km also in a rocky road until tou get to the monastery. It’s a beautiful place to visit. It costs 40kn to go inside for adults and 14kn for children under 14. It’s really beautiful. You can also go there by another road - you can go by boat and climb. No matter which way you choose, it takes around 30 min each way to get to the monastery that it’s amazingly well conserved. The monastery it’s opened every day from 9.00 till 17.00. They close 30 minutes from 13.30-14.00.

I really enjoyed my time at this monastery. It's an interesting place with an even more fascinating history. The short hike from the upper parking lot to the monastery was easy. I highly recommend visiting this place.

Very clean and clear water beach. Little salty water but not much to get skin very sticky. There is no sand, instead entire beach consists of tiny pebbles. Good for swimming. Suitable for kids. Car parking is nearby with shade and fee for 20kuna per hour. Toilets available for fee. ATM, some small eatery available.

Interesting place with unique beach that changes its shape from time to time. If you prefer a quiet beach, this is not for you. Too many people, loud music. Place looks nice from a distance. Thr most expensive parking lot right next to the beach, 20 minutes by walk - it's cheaper.

Awesome beach , mesmerising beach. It’s situated in Brac island of Croatia. Must visit, although during this April month, the water was cold but little bit sunny which balances the things. It’s really is very beautiful and also it’s in horn shape so people visits this beautiful place to have a mesmerising view and awesome scenic beautiful surroundings.

Nicest beach in Croatia. I have enjoyed nice view of sunset from it. It's pebble beach but the stones aren't big so you can go without swimming shoes. I love that the beach wasn't so commercialized with too many restaurants in it. So it has some peace. And it's very wide and big. So you can find a place with no crowd.

Beach is nice, water is super but just remember to bring your own food and drinks, as the price level of beach bars is just idiotic. 0,5l tap beer 6€, so-so pizzas and burgers around 10€, cocktails from 10€ upwards and so on. Beach chair 12€, 2 with umbrella 36€ and cushioned double chairs 40€.

I had many expectations of this beach, beautiful but not great. The water is clear and clean but not as impressive as other places I've seen. There are many lounge bars and places to eat street food, two quality restaurants. I recommend getting a sofa in a lounge bar and staying there all day rather than paying 36 euros for two sunbeds and a sun umbrella, have a drink and enjoy the whole day.

For two summers, we vacationed on Bok and swam on this beautiful and very famous beach. Very nice memories. The beach is pebbly. The tongue that extends into the sea has a beautiful beach and swimming here is excellent. But there is a lot of wind and no shade.

This beach is perfect and the city is so charming, would come back there one million times. You have everything thing you need there, showers, toilets, bars, street food and even bicycle parking. Our accommodation offers bikes for free to the guests so we took advantage of it and went there cycling. The way to the beach is so lovely. Bol is amazing, we are in love with this place.

Located 5 mins from the parking lot. Nice beach but no sand as some others wrote, small pebbles only. At the tip there is a strong current and water is deep but there is a roped off section where the water is calmer and shallow suitable for children. You need to pay to use bathrooms and showers. It is possible to walk along the coast and swim in other less crowded areas.

Zlatni rat is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean with a pine forest and crystal clear sea. But when you step on the beach the impression changes quickly because you will feel like you are in an anthill and when you enter the sea I was like in a fish pond. The crowd was great even though it was September. You will surely empty your pockets on the beach because everything is paid for and prices are high. Sunbeds cost €12 each and a parasol costs an additional €12. There are even three points for water sports, the offer is rich, the prices are uniform and high. Aqua park costs €15 per person for 30 minutes. The offer of fast food is also rich, the cheapest food is a small slice of pizza that costs €5. There is only one toilet on the entire beach and the only shower is located in the same place. Using the toilet costs €1, taking a shower costs €2.50, and if you need a towel to wipe yourself after showering, it's another €1. There is a queue to use the toilet and shower. First time to Brač island. Bol looks very nice and clean. Great walk by the beach shore. Nice cocktail bars, ice cream and stands with local stuff along the way. We came here in September and because the high season just ended, there's not many people around. But the sea water is still warm and good for swimming. Water is very clean and clear. You can basically see the sea bed very clearly and deep. Overall a pleasant site. Would recommend to visit it and enjoy your vacation.

Stunning beach, rightly one of the best in the med area. It's stony but don't let that put you off. Some cool bars and cafes alongside, in the pines...this place is so cool

Nice place, the wind is always blowing. One side therefore is with big waves the other is calm. Lot of food stands and restaurants. Playgrounds for kids in water and on the beach. Ideal for surfing and kitesurf. Restricted and watched areas by lifeguards. You have to pay for the toilet, shower and parking.

It’s one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen. The water even at 30ft is crystal clear with colorful fish swimming all around the sea grass. Water is refreshing, plenty of places for snacks and drinks, water activities and more.

A beautiful spot to look out over the sea and watch the sunset. We both enjoy red wine, however for a winery I felt the red wine here was okay but I have had better. The red wine was also chilled. We got ham and cheese to accompany the wine which was nice. Our waitress was also lovely.

Excellent vines at heart of Bol. One of the oldest wineries in Croatia, and also some of the most awarded vines. You can call and choose some of their vine tasting experiences, but it's also possible just to come, sit by the sea, have a glass, or a bottle

Wine tasting from small cruise boat. Only had whites which are okay. Need to come back someday and try their reds. Fun fact, closes winery in the world near an ocean.

This was a highlight of our trip! The wines were exceptional. Especially the Vrhunsko, we enjoyed a glass and bought a bottle. Hoping to secure some in the US. Tour and snacks were great as well! Highly recommend.

Stina Winery, an authentic winery is located in a historical building on which you can see an inscription  “The first Dalmatian Wine Cooperative”. It has a small variety of Dalmatian wines including prosecco. They offer a number of small appetizers to choose from to try with your local wine. You can also opt for a degustation set if you would like to try a few wine options. It has a nice view in front of the sea and is good for a quick apéritive or after dinner wine sipping. Slightly overpriced but overall a good impression.

Even if you're not into wine tasting, you can just order by glass and enjoy Stina's lovely terrace by the sea ("zidić"). Stina does not serve any other drinks besides wine and water, but there are some tasty food additions on the menu that can compliment your wine (cheese, bread, olive oil...). Wine prices in range 5-25 euros per glass of wine, bottles from 25 euros, cheese 10 euros, olive oil 2.5 euros.

Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to go on the winery tour but managed to try a selection of wines. The wines tasted great and I have definitely fallen in love with the local varieties of grape! I would highly recommend visiting if you are in Brač.

Stina had the best wine we have ever tasted! It was really special to visit the winery itself after sampling some of the wines in local restaurants. The staff are extremely knowledgable sommeliers and can tell you absolutely everything about the details and production of each wine. I particularly loved the branding and how it reflects the Brač stone the labels on the bottles are gorgeous. Will be shipping a case to the U.K.

I can see why people like it so much. The views are stunning, the wine excellent and service very good. You don’t need to spend a fortune on the wine other and you get to admire the fancy yachts 😉😉 Definitely worth a visit

Absolutely amazing. Whole environment, sea, wine, vibe. You can sit in front of the winery on the tables that have a view on the sea or you can visit winery inside. There are lots of wines to choose from and also some dishes like homemade ham, cheese,olives. We enjoyed it. Recommended!

We went to trip with them. As family of four with two kids aged 3 and 9, we paid in full the required amount. But on our first destination at Hvar, the boat decided to leave us on the island. When we waived at them to stop and come back only then they came back. We were surprised that they decided to leave us stranded. We were shocked.

Great day trip experience! I would say that the whole trip is very well organized because we've been on a couple of locations and yet we got time to tour the place we are currently in, time to eat and drink, time to swim etc. It's a great ratio between the quality of the trip and the price you pay. The sailorman and skipper were great, the skipper told us in detail about each location before we arrived and he helped where help was needed. Nothing was boring or disappointing and I would definitely recommend! :)

We took excursion to blue cave everything was perfectly arranged. Amazing and friendly team. Our next stop was in Hvar and we were travelling without car they offered to drop us out in Hvar So our simple ferry trip turned into family attraction reaching desired destination

Sales lady sold us a day trip to Blue Cave and Viz with snorkeling. We saw no caves, no islands, no snorkeling..... Just a boat trip to Viz and Hvar. It was very expensive for what you got and did not reflect the intinery. Very disappointing tour guide who only spoke when asked a question. Try another company this one is a rip off

Jet ski safari for the whole family was a great and best experience ever (on the water). We enjoyed every minutes of the ride including almost 30 min of free ride . Thank you Nautic center , will come to you next year too !! Milan B

Today is my birthday and I was referred to one of the most professional, welcoming, warm, enthusiastic staff. I felt almost guilty of receiving this overwhelming amount of hollywood treatment. The owner Dennis greeted me with smiles and assurance of accommodation. The staff’s religion is customer service and each one of them with above and beyond to fulfill my first speed experience. The driver Ante was an ocean limo driver and considered all of my desires. Ante was an outstanding ocean guide. I was educated about all the islands of Croatia. This is a stop to heaven, I highly recommend you come here as soon as possible. I am coming back again but with friends next time. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ God bless this establishment you made my birthday so special money isn’t enough. I will come again for sureeee! Do this tour only with a tourguide! Don‘t do it on your own. First of all you probably won’t find the cave and second of all you won’t understand the history and value of the cave. Zoran did an outstanding job explaining the history and especially the mythology of the carvings. One of my best expiriences as a tourist. Can fully recommend. Zoran will explain everything in croatian, german or english. Hvala Zoran!! Even if you are lucky enough to find the cave you will be greeted by a closed gate…

It is an amazing place! And I think it is the biggest treasure of the Brac Island. You have to go there with a guide, but it is worth! It would be very difficult to find it if you go by yourself only. Place is closed and the guide is approved to open it. The guide knows a lot about the place, and tells very interesting stories during a way. He explains every detail in the cave. Take a drinking water with yourself as the way goes up in sun.
