It look’s exactly like in the pictures. There were only 3-4 people at the time I went which was at 15:00 so i guess it’s not a very visited site. It was interesting but kinda looked human made it has like tunnels which looked to perfect to be natural. You won’t be spending more than 5 minutes there since it’s not really big. If you don’t want to lose 5 minutes you can pass by it by car and you will see everything since it’s right next to the road.

Amazing view from the castle, included in the price is also "Museo delle origini genovesi" and the ticket costs 5€. Probably best time to visit is around the sunset so you can see all the seaside meeting the sky and the orange reflections. Unfortunately it was a bit cloudy when I was there but I loved it! Very nice visit in the castle. For 5€ you can access number 1 and number 7. It opens at 10:00, and is already quite hot at that time, they played Game of Thrones music which made the experience kind of epic.. In number 7 (museum), you can see amazing views of the sea and take lots of nice pictures, it was very quiet (not many visitors during the time of our visit at 10:00) and you can enjoy the scenery and sea.

You can go up the hill to the castle by car or climb the stairs which takes about 30 minutes. At the top, great views and lots of souvenir shops and atmospheric cafes and restaurants await us. A ticket to the castle and two museums costs € 5

To be frank the castle is really nothing special compared to the authentic beauty of the rest of the walled town... Do yourself a favour and miss out on that one and save 3 euros, unless you badly need a lavatory inside. Just take stroll around the town instead.
