One of the most amazing camp site merged with theme park ;) Everyone can find something for him self including large forest area to walk. I recommend visit the watch tower with spectacular view. Place wasn't overcrowded so no wasting time for queue like for example in Alton tower. My kids really enjoyed.

Excellent place for children, plenty to do for all ages from 5 years old. There are 2 large play parks and plenty of picnic benches. Toilets and parks are very clean. Lockers are located at the front and middle of the park. Food is a good price, drinks are a little pricey at €3.50. I would recommend it for a family holiday. The swimming area is also a great place to visit. Easy bus access, either catcha bus from the front of the park or take a 10 min walk for a more direct route.

Amazing! The themed park is very good, could do with a few more rides for kids between 120-140 cm but we managed to keep our children entertained Water park always busy but very well organised and lots of things to do. We stayed in luxury premium bungalow and they’re very well equipped and clean!

Some of the facilities were showing their age although it is still a value for money park for a nice family excursion. Nice selection of rides even for smaller kids. Food choices were mediocre at best!

Super FUN family vacation spot, but a bit dated. We entered the amusement park at 10 and NONE of the food, drink, coffee places were ready to sell to us. Dunkin Donuts wasn’t ready for business until 10.35. Also, it’s hard to believe they don’t have dedicated bike paths for for bikers and go karts. It’s was insane driving and walking on the same roads as many kids in their bikes. We wanted to be so safe and careful. Bathrooms and facilities were very clean, considering the crowds. Campsites were very nice and clean. Plenty of space. Booking and using the voucher for the pools was tedious at times, considering the WiFi there wasn’t the best. Overall.. a lot of fun for our family and would def be back! 🐸

Good place to spend a full day on the weekend. It is great that the ticket is all-inclusive of the rides. Food options need to be a bit more. Some rides were not working, they should have a list on the website about it for people to know beforehand.

I had a fantastic time at the theme park! The thrilling roller-coaster gave me an adrenaline rush, and I enjoyed cooling off with a swim and tackling some daring slides. One slide caught me by surprise, leading to an unexpected plunge into a deep pool. Thankfully, the attentive staff acted quickly to ensure my safety, which left a lasting impression on me. Their care and professionalism made me feel truly valued as a guest, and it's a memory I'll cherish. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience!

I believe this is one of the oldest theme parks in the Netherlands, with some exciting rides for adults but not for small children. There is, however, some stuff for young kids. However, it is worthwhile to visit this attraction, particularly since it includes one of the largest water parks in the Netherlands that is TikiBad. I wish Duinrell management should consider upgrading this Park.

Excellent amusement park for young kids. Most the rides are geared towards younger children (5 to 14) but a couple of faster coasters and one looped and corkscrewed. Grounds and facilities are clean and lines not that long. We went in a Thursday in early June. Great day!

Excellent Dutch answer to Center Parcs at a good price! Water park, theme park and facilities are excellent, trails surrounding are great and entertainment for the family is brilliant!! Theme park has something for everyone!! Well worth more than a weeks stay! Food on site is more expensive than in Wassenaar but not significant, except beer/lager. ASBO families ejected from the site at the first hint of trouble, which is a change to the UK holiday parks, but as it should be! Highly Recommended!!

We have just returned from 4 days here. We stayed In a duingalow- 2 familes with 4 kids between us aged 16, 10, 9, 9. The duingalow negatives were, no mirror in the bedrooms, not many sharp knives for cooking and no window in any toilets. Many more positives though- spacious, very comfy beds, great location (no 845 is at the back no people walk across the front), great showers, really good sauna, tvs in all bedrooms if needed and effective air con/ heating. There were so many activities for all ages. We only had two full days as check in is late and check out early. The rides at dark were great. We had unlimited access to the theme park with great rides for all ages and such small queues. Maybe 20 min longest queue. The water park is probably the best one we have ever been too. So many rides inside I don’t know how they fit them all in. We went to a magic show which was top quality- not what I’d expect from a glorified campsite. The shop was expensive but 5 mins outside the resort is a supermarket so we drove out and stocked up. The pizza in the pizza takeaway restaurant was lovely- we almost didn’t buy because of previous reviews but it was good. Take pool shoes and don’t bother showering in the pool showers- the floor leading into the pool and the changing rooms were dirty and smelly and most of the showers didn’t work. It was easy booking all the activities online and hiring a prep court for an hour was only 5 euros- a bargain! All in all I was pleasantly surprised with how the range of activities kept my children constantly entertained even my 16 year old who likes to be constantly active.

Very clean campsite offering lots of things to do. Quite busy but really enjoyed the ability to use the rides with very short queues compared to the UK and great indoor waterpark. The outdoor one is OK but the indoor one is much better

Rating as a free guest with staying on site. Kids loved it. Great selection of good quality rides. Not big theme park level but perfect medium theme park with short queues and the kids just went on roller coasters over and over again. Everything felt safe and we all had a good time. The wonderland walk is a good laugh too.

Duinrell is extremely good for family holidays plenty of options for camping or staying in a small bungalow. The park caters for all ages, the indoor/outdoor pools and slides are very good and the theme park is very good u can walk or hire bikes.

Fun for the whole family. We stayed in the Luxury Tents with 2 teenagers and a 7 year old. The park was clean and felt safe. The Theme Park was freely available to us throughout our stay and there were plenty of rides to entertain all the kids. The queues weren't too bad compared to other theme parks. We had to book slots in the water park, but 2 hours at a time were enough. The indoor waterpark had many different slides. The kids really enjoyed them all. The queues were long on some rides, but mostly moved quickly. The accommodation was clean and well equipt. If staying in a lodge tent, bear in mind there is little noise insulation. But we were so tired most evenings that it didn't affect our sleep. A great holiday for a family.

We have loved coming here over the years. It’s always been a good value holiday. Since Covid we have found they are more stingy with the time you get to swim. For some reason they have gotten rid of the monkey swings, which was always a favourite. Other than this it’s a great place to stay and lots of different things to do. They had an online booking for certain things to do this time around, we booked it and then no one was there. When we queried it they didn’t seem to know.

The real fun in Duinrell is in their indoor water attraction park, Tikibad. It has 22 water slides/attractions, ranging from gentle slopes for the children to extremely exhilarating steep water slides. I have been there multiple times now and every time I spend the entire 4 hours allocated to me there. The price for entering Tikibad is very reasonable, so I suggest anyone to go!!

Great place to visit/stay with the kids.. I recommend staying there for the weekend with kids.. Bungolows are confortable and clean.. Staf is polite and helpful.. While staying you can use the attraction park unlimited.. and 2 times tikibad each for 2 hours (which is more than enough for the parents :).. I recommend this place for the parents with kids (ages 7+)..

Overall it was an ok experience. My favourite things were obviously the slides, but I also liked the smaller pools where you can rest a bit. The bad things were that this place was extremely unhygienic and very overcrowded. I recommend to visit early in the morning, because the queue during the afternoon is really long.

One of the best and largest waterpark in the Netherlands.A must visit park for the kids and adults to have fun in the water. We have visited here more than 5 times but we never get bored of it.

I don't know what some have complained about saying it was horrible. We had a great time and a great experience. I found it no more dirty than any other water park and the lines were not horrible. We went on Monday afternoon at 4pm for 4 hours. You do only get admission to the indoor park but that's fine, it's where the slides and wave pool is anyways. Yes, there are teenagers there and they are a bit rambunctious but that's expected. The lockers are included in the admission and were slick as can be. The only thing that took away a star was the change rooms. No matter which one we tried the doors always wanted to not stay shut. So someone was given the duty of keeping the doors closed. Otherwise, great place and we will definitely come again next trip to the Netherlands.

A really good water park once your in. Plenty on offer for any age or swimming abilities. Had a great time with family. The only reason to lose the star was the changing rooms where tiny and quite awkward to get changed in especially with little ones, and it does get very busy. But other than that everything else is great

One of the best waterparks we have ever been to. Huge range of slides for everyone from small children to the bravest thrillseekers.

The slides are a lot of fun. I appreciated being clear for my standards. The food inside is below average. In the adventure park you can eat much better. We had a 1 day ticket for both pool and park. Is enough time to do everything.

My son enjoyed, me not. Slides are fun - but they sell too many tickets. It’s so crowded that you feel there terribly - lines are everywhere. So if park decides to improve- set up a limit , it cannot stay like this

Tikibad inside is the best. Outside is more swimming than sliding. Inside they have about 5 sliding . And the wave motion on swimming pool is amazing experience.i will recommend inside sliding.

Suitable for all ages who can enjoy the rides and water rides. Reach on time to avoid the crowd in rides. Otherwise there will be a moderate queue. Worth for money. Better choose an indoor tikipool to enjoy the rides.

Inside pool has some of the best slides around, great for thrill seekers and little ones alike. Outside is lovely when it's sunny, slides are more sedate but still fun. Outside is also better for actual swimming if that's your thing. I'd recommend booking the earliest slot available in the morning if you can.

Ideal.for children water park.amazing . If you need a holiday they got amazing apartments etc to hire with admission included. Bit pricey on drinks and food but it's normal for parks like this .

Really great pool. We went in the evening at 8pm, I think Most the holiday camp had the same idea lol. Q's for the bigger flumes were long. But still plenty of other slides. The little baby pool had the warmest water ever! So warm my baby fell asleep 😆. Would recommend. They also serve food and drink. Lockers are free, but you need a swipe a card (no money) are also chairs, so if you wanted you can leave your bags.

This is not the first we come, but very disappointed this time. After living in the Netherlands for about 4 years, it is the first negative experience I had. We booked two hours Tiki indoor pool and paid over 130 Euro to spend more than an hour (at least) if not 80 minutes waiting in queues. It is timed ticket and we should at least have 2 hours of fun, not waiting. But unfortunately why existing the indoor pool they charged us 12 euros extra per person!!! Yes, we spent around an hour extra which is way less than the waiting time. As a professional service provider, you should at least allow certain number of visitors for timed tickets…

We had a brief stay in the Netherlands for a day, and we decided to visit this waterpark from Rotterdam Port. Both of our children enjoyed the waterslides the most. However, it was unfortunate that some of the slides were closed, which resulted in lengthy waits in lines before each ride.

The water in indoor pool is very cold. We used to come to Tikobad frequently because in the cold winter we always enjoyed playing with kids in a warm water, however the water in the indoor pool is no more warm, it was very cold. We paid 120 EUR for few hours while our kids could not even enjoy it as the water was too cold and they refused to go to slides or other areas. I

Nice gallery, a bit expensive for its small number of pieces, very unique and interesting tho. a great spot for quite a few photo-ops, also has a beautiful garden and hiking paths towards some big sand dunes

Amazing. The setting is pastoral and the modern museum building only accents it in a positive way. The modern art installations were exceptional and left us smiling in amazement as only the best art can do. Nice trails on the grounds though the dune area is not recommended if you are not fit. Onsite dining was nice too!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience. I won't lie and say I know much about modern art but that did not stop me enjoying the museum in full. There are some very interesting and thought provoking exhibitions in an architecturally stunning building. Staff are friendly and helpful and the grounds/gardens surrounding the museum are beautifully done and maintained with expert care. We cycled which was ideal as the weather was lovely, but it is a bit of trek from the nearest bus stop (20 walk), so perhaps it would be best to drive there if bringing kids or older folks!

It is a beautiful museum with a great permanent exposition. The temporary expositions we saw were also very impressive.

The best museum experience I’ve had anywhere, a shame the museum pass is not usable here and you have to pay for the ticket but honestly it is worth it! Plus the café has a cheesecake that reminds me of my Oma’s recipe :)

Great museum and the whole estate is a nice place visit. Museum is not very big, but enough for a one day balanced experience. Great big expo spaces, friendly atmosphere, some really good art. A good adventure to do, surely worth its cost!

The museum is 100% worth a visit. The missing star is because we were treated very coldly from from one of the front desk/ gift shop workers. He refused to greet us back or answer us when we spoke to him in English, only answered us in English after we tried speaking to him in German. I don’t expect everyone to speak English, but he was obviously fluent and simply not a fan of being polite to non Dutch speakers. The museum expects and welcomes foreigners/tourists (they have an English brochure/website) so this behavior from a member of staff was quite jarring. Other members of staff in the museum were friendly. Our favorite exhibit was Sigh, by Sam Taylor-Johnson, the surround sound orchestra. I could’ve sat there all day. The museum has a card game for kids as well, to make it more interactive and exciting. There were a lot of kids there when we visited.

This museum was like a dream! I went here for my birthday, and it really lived up to my expectations! The current expositions are very colurful, bold and modern. It truly was a lovely experience to have been here. It felt very minimal and playful at the same time. I can't recommend it enough :)

This incredible place is definitely worth a visit if you’re into modern art. Kind of reminded of me “Depot Boijmans” in Rotterdam. The swimming pool exhibition is crazy and the room with glow in the dark lighting. No need to pre purchase tickets. Taking public transport is easy, it’s only a 5-10 mins walk from the closest bus stop which takes you directly to The Hague central. Go in the morning. Spend the day on the relaxing on the grass after or at the cafe.

Voorlinden is a private museum located in Wassenaar, near The Hague in the Netherlands. It was founded by businessman and art collector Joop van Caldenborgh in 2016. The museum is situated on a beautiful estate in the dunes, providing a picturesque setting for the display of modern and contemporary art. The museum building itself is designed to enhance the art viewing experience. It is an oblong-shaped structure made of variegated dune sand-colored natural stones and transparent glass walls, allowing the surrounding nature to blend with the interior. An amazing location, most certainly worth a visit for their inspiring displays of contemporary artwork. It was pouring with rain the day we visited, we'd taken a train, then a bus, then walked through the storm without an umbrella so it was a joy to dry off in this light and wonderful space. Thoroughly recommend a visit there!

Love this museum. World class contemporary art. Worth going out of your way to see and experience contemporary art. It not too big so you will not be overwhelmed. Great art space.

Visited here on first day of New Year 2024 with my parent, and lovely sunshine. Lucky us. The building itself has so much better views with sunshine, not to mention the exhibitions. Before and after the tours in the building, a short walk around the area is fantastic. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it as a top thing to do on your new year list.

One of my favourite places in the Netherlands. Visited the Anselm Kiefer exhibition, which was temporary, they always have new exhibitions on show that are often quite worthwhile.

This is an absolutely magical place in the Netherlands!!! Hardly visited by tourists, as it’s a bit cumbersome to get to from the usual touristy spots, this museum is immersed in an oasis of greenery and lush and filled with wonders. Visit the temporary exhibitions (when we went you could get a tattoo from the artist on the spot!), to the marvellous permanent installations. What an absolutely incredible find!

Visiting Museum Voorlinden was an impulse decision so I did not read up beforehand. I was pleasantly surprised by the art they had on display. I am no art connoisseur but I love photography. So seeing large prints by Rineke Dijkstra was a nice surprise. A very large piece by Andy Warhol, Damien Hurst etc. Pretty impressive. I skipped the Anselm Kiefer. Too heavy for me. I was amused by the boomers trying to be very arty and 'explaining' all the art while looking very serious. Richard Serra's massive steel structure is very impressive. Don't forget to walk up the steps to see it from above. And go to the pool art thing. Look down and then go underneath to look up. The reastaurant is well run, especially since they are currently seven vacancies on the restaurant alone. The pea soup I had is not as good as the one I make but there was nothing really wrong with it either. I'll be back, once they replace mr Kiefer with something more interesting. Still on the expensive side though. The Museumkaart is not accepted here.

This privately owned museum houses a very accessible collection of contemporary art. The building itself make use if the beautifull gardens around. In the old land house houses a restaurant and you can also enjoy a walk in the dunes nearby. We had the pleasure to have the temporary exhibition of Anselm Kiefer...a real mist. There is a tour for kids available as well.

Wonderful museum. The buildings and grounds are by themselves already well worth the visit. However, experiencing the museum and the Anselm Kiefer exhibition is a must. The art is created for the public and for public spaces. Museum Voorlinden is just the place to experience it. I was blown away.

To be found on a discreet side street of Wassenaar is an aesthetic oasis. There is ample parking, go early to void disappointment. The pavilion is 300 meter from the car park. Follow well paved wide path past the restaurant and Martin Creed trees to the entrance. The elegant building is tall and spacious with glass on all sides. There is a library (by appointment only), a temporary exhibition, an excellent permanent collection and concerts once a month on Monday mornings. Admission is €22, no concessions, no Ya Carte. Plan to spend at least 2 hours indoors. Do experience the Turrell Sky Room, the swimming pool, the piano and outdoor sculptures ( another hour at least). Children and babies seemed very welcome. There is a cloak room and lockers. No bags allowed. The gift shop has lots of interesting things for all budgets. Despite it being very busy the staff were very nice and attentive. I cant recommends this impeccable gem highly enough.

Laid back beach restaurant with good service. The surprisingly large portion of fish and chips tasted really good. I recommend making a reservation.

We went here for the first time, and tried the best of the menu, the fish & chips and bait salade was really good, the next two days we came back. The latte macchiato waa amazing. I mean if i come back to a restaurant, i mean i litterally like it👌 The view to the ocean is better here. Compared to other beaches.it’s high so you can see the ocean clearly.

Excellent service! I ordered nachos and fish & chips. The staff was nice and professional. You have a nice view of the sea and children can play at the playground.

Nature park Meijendel offers a stunning blend of beach, forest, and dunes, making it an ideal destination for hiking or trail running. The diverse landscapes provide a picturesque backdrop for outdoor enthusiasts. However, it's important to note that the park can get quite busy during the summer months.

Nice nature. Dunes. Not too busy on Sunday morning. You can visit an exposition about the animals in the park and how they produce drinking water. Also possible to eat and drink something. Good for short or langer walk. There are also walks for children with educational information, play ground and activities. No entance fee.

This is a really nice place. Along a cycle path in the sand dunes. Big pancakes Dutch style with many toppings. Fairly busy and lots of families etc. Nice place to atop off for refreshments.

Been here a number of times now. Have never eaten a meal here, just some drinks and snacks but those were great. The location around the restaurant is great. A fun playing space for young kids and nice trails to walk on. The beach is about a 25 minute walk away. It's a nice trail and I highly recommend it. Next to the restaurant there is also a fun informative building with information about the surrounding environment. Parking is great. Plenty of space and it's free!

The highest altitude place around Leiden and The Hague 😀 with a beautiful forest, dunes and access to the beach. After a hike you can enjoy pancakes and even better a healthy meal in the restaurant

Beautiful, rich place for a walk, in Summer or Winter. Great for kids, dogs, adults. It's close to the beach so nice for a combo visit in Summer. Has a lovely bit with wild horses and cows. So cool!

Very beautiful place, kids' playground is there as well as ponies. Even grown-ups remembered how wired and fun childhood could be ) You can see a variety of natural landscapes from forest to dunes, seaside and lakes, sandy pathes and meadows. But please, be aware of ticks! We've got one. View your clothes, body and shoes before go to sleep after the fruitful day at the park.

A beautiful large park with both dunes and forestry, you can find shade and nice walking paths but at the same time the sun and sand if that's what you like. The farm and restaurant is okay and there are facilities for kids which is great. All in all a nice park.

Cute place in the middle of the Dutch Dunes. It is really nice to spend a Sunday there with your family or boyfriend. Children can play outdoors and discover what the Dutch fauna and flora has to offer. For the most adventurous, I recommend pay the entrance to the wild dunes and walk around for hours, it is delightful! I say 4/5 stars because the food choice isn't so broad.

A beautiful fairytale dune, clear waters and sandy hills all the way to the sea. There is a restaurant where you can eat a pancake and drink a hot beverage as well, delicious and in winter a gentle fire is burning indoors

Lovely place. Nice day visit. We had fun walking in the park and enjoy the forest, small canals and pools, and different animals like ducks, swans, frogs and more. Strange, we were lucky to be almost alone in the park, due to the Corona virus times... I uploaded some pics as well.

Great place for a Sunday afternoon walk. Entry tickets are 1 euro per person and definitely value for money. There are marked routes through the park of 1.5 km, 4.5 km and 7.5 km over well kept paths.

Love walking here. Lots of different marked routes. I like it because there are no bikes. No dogs allowed. The cafe was too busy as they were not serving the outside tables which was a shame. We would have been happy with self-service. Toilets in the cafe. Big car park and bike parking.
