Sunset is beautiful but because the wind, the sand crash on you and is kind of painful, also for your eyes! From the beach the sunset is also beautiful and the after sunset, that is always better ☀️

Really a must-see/do event while here. First, Duna Por do Sol (Sunset Dune) is so close to the town; second, if the sun is out, you will be in the company of hundreds of others who climb this gently sloping dune for a chance to take some spectacular sunset photos. There are people selling drinks up and down the dune, so you can make a small party out of the event.

The most beautiful part is the trekking alongside the beaches through the hills. The rock itself is just a rock with a big hole in the middle.

There is a queue, but is super worth it the view. Recommend to go walking, from the top tô have a nice view.

A little bit of a walk but it’s good exercise and the view along the way makes every minute of it worth it! Make sure to budget a few extra minutes if you want a picture before the sunset - there’s a bit of a line for the photo.

Its an hour walk back and forth with a comfortable pace from the center. I left early in the morning at 06.30 i found this to be very rewarding cos it wasn't hot and there wasn't a lot of people there at that time of the day. the walk offers you a view of a different kind of vegetation - more green which means you get to see some cows and donkeys on the way. Its a cool tour to do whilst in Jeri

Access requires a good 10 min walk in a steep area. On sunny days, there is literally a line up of people waiting to make a photo. Overrated.

Cool place to take pictures and enjoy nature. Be aware of the steep hike when leaving the pedra furada. I would recommend going with shoes instead of sandals.

This is the most pointless attraction in all of Jericoacoara. It’s just a tree. And not even that great of a tree. And it takes like 30 minutes of driving on the bumpy roads just to get to it.

Well, it's a tree lying down. No less. No more.

This is one of the last manglar trees in the area. The tree is laying to the side because of the non stop strong winds. That's the reason for the name too. As you approach the tree you'll see a sing stating that it's forbidden to climb the tree. During the few minutes we spent there all of the visitors climbed the tree for their pictures. How silly the human being is, right?

It's a nice tree with a beach background but to take quick photos only since there is a line and one shall not go into water

Nice beach place but the beach isn't anything spectacular in my eyes. Low tide takes the water out a long way, high tide leaves a small beach & shallow water. Loads of kite surfers & a few surfers (small waves from what I've seen). The night time comes alive with restaurants & drink vendors, this makes Jeri more attractive...but everything closes at 1am :)

Amazing spot to visit ! Desert dunes in front of the sea , lagoons , small oasis , mangrooves , and the small beautiful town of Jericoacoara! If you are in the north of Brazil pasing by Ceará you must visit it !

It's nice but too overcrowded with tourists, high prices, tourist tax is annoying and guides offering you everything everywhere is really bothering. More places along the coast are worth it too. My favorite Lagoinha, small town, people friendly, cheap and good food.

White dunes, the ocean and the wind... The place is wild and really amazing. You need a 4 wheel to drive in there .Jeri beach for the sunset is a higlight moment. A place you can' forget !

This place is a paradise! The ocean is blue and beautiful, the white sand, the exuberant landscapes are mind blowing. Go up to the dunes to watch the sunset since this is spectacular in Jericoacoara.

We got there from Fortaleza. It was a bumpy ride, but we made it in one piece. They asked for our documents and charge us a fee to enter the town, which to me came across as odd. The dunes are pretty and so is the beach, especially at night with a sky full of stars. Overall I had a great time. However, I think it's a shame that the "hippie vibes" are just a façade for a a rustic little town that now has a Hard Rock Cafe and is minutes away from becoming another exploited tourist trap.

We did an 8-day private downwinder with Kiteiscool in November 2023 and it was an incredible trip. From the responsive early organization of our custom trip to the 250 miles of guided downwind kiting all the way to the time we ended our trip, Kiteiscool provided us with fantastic support throughout. We are very glad we worked with them on a custom tour that suited our group’s budget, skill-level, and pace. We have been on several kite cruises in the Caribbean and have interacted with schools and operators throughout the world and our experience with Kiteiscool was one of the best.

I am more than happy to write a glowing review for this amazing kite surfing school! From start to finish, my experience was absolutely fantastic. First of all, the staff is amazing. They are knowledgeable, patient, speak English very well, and ofcourse enthusiastic about kite surfing. Their passion for the sport is contagious, and they made me feel welcome and at ease from the moment I walked in. The instructors take the time to explain everything in a clear and concise way. They are always willing to answer any questions They made the learning process fun and exciting, while a was nervous at first. When we had some trouble (not their fault), I was amazed with their solution. The equipment is in excellent condition and well-maintained. They have everything you need to get started with kite surfing. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen and -glasses ;) Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning this amazing sport. The staff, facilities, and community are all top-notch, and I can't wait to continue my kite surfing journey with them in a few years.

Had a great experience with Kite is Cool learning to kiteboard. Paolo was super friendly and got me all set up at the shop. My instructors Romero and Daniel were able to teach me in English and got me up and riding in less than 2 days! Gear was well maintained and staff was punctual. Highly recommend this shop. Had an awesome time in Jeri and certainly a great experience learning kitesurfing! Kiteiscool did a good job organizing the trips to Prea beach (~30min by van), where they have a little wooden hut, very convenient to store your stuff and seek some shade. Communication via WhatsApp was easy, their prices are competitive and decrease the more lessons you take. My instructor was the awesome! He spoke English and they use walkie-talkies for the lessons (student/instructor), that certainly helped a lot! Only minor remark: The equipment was ok, not top notch, and the lessons had to be paid in advance which I haven’t experienced in other countries so far. I’m super happy with the progress and my skillset after only a few days with Kiteiscool in Jeri (+ IKO certification) 🙌🏼 Can highly recommend to check out Jeri for a (kite) vacation, loved it there 😊 Even during „low season“ in early February we had around min. 9/10 to max. 18 knots, on average 12 knots every day! And definitely recommend Kiteiscool as a school!

Great kite school, professional and friendly staff. Top kite gear and a lot of fun while learning. The main spot in Preia is about 30 min drive and they will take you back and forth, the ride is in beautiful scenery and already part of the great experience. The spot we went is remote and just for you!

I had a couple of days with this school in December last year unfortunately they are not beginner friendly they go to a difficult spot near Prea with strong winds and choppy waves which makes learning very difficult they didn’t bother to teach upwind body dragging which is a crucial beginner skill you should learn but I didn’t know it at the time on one day the radio of my instructor wasn’t working and he wasn’t able to warn me of a fishing boat anchored off the beach which I didn’t see but I felt the anchor line… I’m sure they are great for advanced kiters but I would suggest looking for a different school if you are a beginner. Otherwise the people are great and I enjoyed it but I wasted too much time and money. Their prices are also higher than others.

I did 18h of lessons and it was awesome! They take care of everything, lot of time on the water, good transport and very friendly vibes. They were very responsive over whatsapp and flexible with multiple requests. I took lessons with Daniel and I was riding almost independently at the end, great teacher. They also speak multiple languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, English...) both at the store and for lessons. The gear is good, I had an issue with a strap but they had multiple other boards to switch, so not a problem. Overall a great experience and the wind in Jeri is perfect!

Used Kiteiscool for a tailored 8-day downwinder from Jeri to Atins. Trip of a lifetime for my wife and I! Kiteiscool is a very professional outfit, took care of all the details for us, and organized an excellent adventure. Our group of four all agreed we could never have organized or executed a trip like this on our own, so hiring kiteiscool was a no brainer. Worth every penny, would recommend to any kiter.

Amazing experience, first time kite boarding. PC set us up with awesome instructors (they have English and Portuguese speaking instructors, maybe more). Everyone was super nice and you could tell that they loved teaching. Day 1 was learning all of the basics and safety. Day 2 we were riding. Would recommend doing 3-4 days as it takes a day or two to get used to the feeling of controlling the kite. Wear lots of sunscreen and pack a water

I would 100% recommend the cask draw experience - delicious 18 year old cask strength whiskey in a lovely aromatic environment. Katie was a charming and informative host. The splosh and gurgle of the distillers dog was a delight. I don't think I'd recommend the tour however. Our guide was great but it all felt a bit rushed and there wasn't enough time to linger and it all felt a bit constructed. It didn't feel that deep or engaging despite our guides best efforts. The whiskey tasting section was nice but the selection felt geared towards shifting product rather than a really distinctive tasting experience. I'm a whiskey enthusiast not an expert but there wasn't enough contrast between the whiskeys being tasted. You could buy the whiskeys as you exit through the gift shop though... You do get a good couple of drams for your ticket fee so there's good value in that. On balance though I'd recommend you get the cask draw for €10, buy a drink in the bar and go to the Guinness storehouse for the afternoon and enjoy the sunset in the gravity bar.

Great experience. Lots of people but really well managed with small group guided tours provided. Hats off to you guys at Jameson’s. Our guide Leah S was really brilliant; informative and entertaining as well as friendly and polite, making it a really worth while visit, highly recommended. Not too hard sell, just really interesting and enjoyable experience. Lots of credit was given to all the workers over the years who have made this such a success as reflected in the company logo of a man (labourer) with a barrel on his back. This is a ‘must see’ experience.

Made reservations for a Monday evening Cocktail Class. Loved the distillery and bar area - great vibes and decor! Enjoyed our cocktail class and even had a few more at the bar area after. We did visit the gift shop and were hoping/expecting it to have many more items, but it was quite small. Would recommend signing up for one of their activities if you appreciate whsikey!

We did the Jameson Distillery Tour and had an amazing experience. It lasted about an hour, and our tour guide Sean was hilarious! He went through the entire distilling process in detail and made it interesting. And the best part - WHISKEY! I highly recommend the orange "water of life" 😉 I don't want to spoil the tour so check it out for yourself, it's worth it! And something you absolutely need to see when visiting Dublin

This was a quick walk from center city & also the Guinness Storehouse, and is in a quaint area. We did the 45 minute tour with Alex and she was INCREDIBLE! So fun, knowledgeable, and engaging. The bar is also a great, warm spot to relax at the end. We would definitely come back.

Visited in 2022. This is a must if you are a fan of Jameson. The atmosphere is great as soon as you walk in. Cool bar right when you enter where they have very good cocktails. Their gift shop is great, lots of cool items that will make great gifts. They even have a few bottles that are exclusive to the Guinness store that you can personalize with your name on the label. We did the tour and the guide was amazing! He was so good at keeping everyone engaged and the content of the tour was really entertaining. We paid extra to taste from a cask that they tap open in front of you. This is something they do not bottle for sale. Overall, highly recommend it! P.S. I heard from a local in Dublin that he had gone on a tour awhile back and it wasn’t good but they had updated the tour a few years back and he had gone back as well and was much better. So if you had gone awhile ago and was disappointed, try again! Book ahead of time!

I did the Standard Bow Street Experience your which includes a drink on arrival to take with you on the 40+ min tour, learning about the history of Jameson, how the famous whiskey is made and whiskey taste testing. Molly our guide was very nice and informative. Really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend it.

The Bow St Experience tour is well organized. Tour guide was nice, tried to engage as much as she could and entertained us. Comparative tasting was good and fun. At the end you get a voucher for a drink. I would 100% recommend ginger&lime cocktail even if you prefer neat whiskey. What made this a 5 star review was a cask draw experience in their live maturation warehouse in the building. We had an absolute craic there with tour guide Niall (kudos!) who just shinned with the love for whiskey. He was very insightful with tonnes of knowledge. Niall made cask draw experience worth every penny.

In total 4 drinks , one in the ticket you can trade in the begging or end of the tour and 3 more samples in the end of the tour. Used my Go City pass to visit this museum.

I visited 3 whiskey distilleries in Ireland and Jameson had the best experience of any of them, and was one of my favorite things we did in Dublin. The tour was very well put together (and Nial was an excellent guide). The add on cask draw was also cool. The bar there was also really good. In addition to their normal cocktail menu they had a whole old fashioned menu, we tried 3 of them and all were delicious. I would also recommend the bottle your own black barrel option to any whiskey fans.

We did the standard tour and cask draw add-on here and had a great time. Our tour guide, Erin, made it though. She was super awesome and kept us all laughing throughout. I really enjoyed at the beginning she had us all say where we were from and kept engaging with all of us so it didn’t feel like a normal run of the mill tour. While you don’t see the inner working of a factory, I felt like I did learn a lot. The cask draw was totally worth it in my opinion. They bring you inside a room that is full of whisky barrels and pull it straight up from one of them for you to try. The taste was so different than the bottled versions with it being extra burning and warmed your chest, very cool.

Fantastic tour and experience for any Whisky fan or even those new to the drink - the whole experience was very enjoyable and our tour guide was welcoming, knowledgable and very friendly. You are out into timed groups and have a history lesson of Guinness, details on the manufacturing process and then finally a Jameson taste off vs Scottish Whisky and American Bourbon. Once finishing you are free to go to the bar and redeem your drink which are great! We definitely spent a while at the bar trying different drinks on the menu (would highly recommend the Irish coffee) All in all a very worthwhile experience - options are also available should you wish to do extended tours or private events (which looking back would’ve been great to do the cask tasting session)

We loved this tour. It was interactive, engaging and informative. We did the Guinness tour as well and found that one to be a bit of a money grab as it was primarily self guided. I’m not a whiskey drinker and enjoyed this tour anyway. A lot of pride from the folks who are employed by Jameson. You can tell it’s a well managed organization and they must treat their people well as everyone was passionate about their job and pleasant to ask questions to. The tour and tasting were well thought out. It exceeded my expectations. I would do it again next time I return.

Our tour guide was amazing. She gave us the history of Jameson in a fun and informative way. It was great to hear the Bourbon barrels of Kentucky contribute to the flavor of certain Jameson whiskeys. We fell in love with this place and enjoyed their new Orange Whiskey. My GF who was not a whiskey drinker now makes Ginger and Jameson a regular on her order menu. We purchased some personalized whiskey for my daughter and now son-in-law along with making our own bottle of whiskey was a great experience. 5 stars all day and a must when you visit Dublin

My boyfriend and I went to Jameson's yesterday and we had a great great time, we're home visiting family and to celebrate St Paddy's day.... the staff were really great, we got to chat properly with Margaret, in the gift shop, really knowledgeable and friendly and of course our guide Leah was just fantastic.... another lovely girl in the gift shop who helped us with tax back, as he's from America, sorry I didn't get her name, we started with delicious old fashioned cocktails, 12€ each, then we did the 45 minute tour, we booked online 30€ each, it included a complimentary drink, choice of Jameson neat, or with lemonade or with ginger ale. You were able to bring this on the tour instead of rushing...... the tour itself included tasting of Jameson distillery blend, Crested Jameson and Black Barrel Jameson, it was a great experience and I will definitely go back and try one of the other tours another day..... well done Jameson x

Great experience, the basic tasting is a great deal, includes the post experience drink and a nice variety of cocktail options at the end. We went in the slow season, during winter and it was really quiet which made it even better. Took our time and only had a handful of people in our tasting. Loved learning the history, it's not as extravagant as say Guinness, but it's much more educational and interesting.

We came here and did the Bow St Experience followed by the Cask Draw which were two incredible experiences. The tour was fantastic (Alex was our tour guide and she was incredibly fun and informative) and the Cask Draw was such a unique experience where we got to try a 21 year whiskey straight from the barrel. Niall talked us through that process and gave us so much information about the whiskey. The experience is immeasurably better than the Guinness Storehouse and is very interactive, a must visit in Dublin!

Cocktail making class! Great if not the best option to choose from the different activities. Worth booking in advance as there’s not always availability. Good fun with great atmosphere! Reduced groups of max 16 people, the activity allows you to make 2 cocktails from scratch with guidance from an expert cocktail maker. Starting with a whiskey tasting the class followed with the details, ingredients and instructions of two different cocktails (changing depending on the season) and ends the session with a third drink on a private area of the distillery prepared by the instructor.
