This was a new discovery for us! Me and my son had no plans so I searched online for things to do and this place popped up. Very welcoming and the young volunteers were absolutely lovely and so helpful. It's not something to fill the whole day maybe 1-1.5 hours but still my son loved it!

Came in looking for some crystals for my friend for Christmas ,the staff were extremely helpful telling me what they all meant and do then helped me pick out the perfect ones for her :)

This shop is a real find, fossils, gem stones and crystals galore. Not only that but a tea room and children's workshop too. Lady at the till was lovely to chat with, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely visit again, next time with my son.

Such a hidden gem.....volunteers are informative and friendly. Great rapport with kids and the activities get the kids engrossed. My 8yr old came away so proud of what he had found. Gold, shark's teeth, geodes etc etc. I took older grandchildren there 10 years ago and they still remember it!

Really lovely little place. For a dino lover it's the perfect place to visit. We went in the museum and a really lovely, polite young man called Marshall helped us with our activity where we dug for fossils. We learnt a lot and really enjoyed our time. Well worth a visit.

Just popped in when I stayed in March for work. Amazing shop and well priced with lots of fossils and minerals to choose from. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area to check out the museum since I didn't have time!

We are first time visitors and we will definitely be back!! We completed the skills bundle and it was so much fun!! We did get a bit competitive as a family. When you first arrive, I didn't see anywhere to park but we found a car park that was 5 min walk, it looks like a shop. Lacey was telling us it's an old bank (the old safe can still be seen). When you first walk in, there are cases filled with crystals, fossils and jewellery. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked about fossil hunting (found on their website and from reviews read) and they gave us a list!! Skills bundle selected!! Jamie suggested the museum and we have 6 months membership... hopefully a little bit more Indy will be seen). Out back is where we had a great time going from station to station. Lacey stayed with us the whole time and helped me find a blue and white piece of pottery 🥰🥰 thank you Lacey!! We could take 3 pieces from each station. Safe to say we now have a goody bag upon leaving!! It was carefully thought of as all pieces were bagged with a info sheet!! Perfect to help remind ourselves after a few months!! Lacey offered to show us around the museum, though small... it was enough to appreciate the work that went into what they have!! Check out the mammoth hip and Indy's skin prints!! After walking around the museum... shopping!! OK, me and my step daughter can shop but we struggled to think of what we wanted to buy!! There are so many pieces that we could of got, the thought and care behind the displays!! We will be back!! And we are thinking about joining the field trips too!! Boys aged 9 and 10 had a great time. A little expensive so didnt get to see the museums it was extra. Felt we were rushed through each activity so very disappointed considering how much I spent

Really great time. The maze was amazing. There were plenty of other act as well. The water splash games and. The trampoline / sandpit area was amazing. My daughter and her cousins all had a great time. Just a little bit pricey for what we felt it's worth. Had a great long day out though.

Local garden centre. Nice cafe if you don't go when it's busy in the school holidays. Very noisy with echoing children shouting! You are allowed to take your dog in and take him for a walk round the big field at the back, but have to eat outside if you want a cuppa after the walk with the pup. Bacon sandwich was nice. Good bread and nice tea. I heard that they are going to expand the cafe. It would be nice if they had an area that allows dogs.

I can't really comment on the garden center as I've only been in there once. Had a quick look round and left because the prices were way out of my league. But I do go to the car boot a bit, but even that's getting expensive too. A pound a person to go in and minimum of £15 a table if you want to sell your stuff on the car boot. That's a lot of dosh for a table on a car boot. You have to sell 15 quids worth of stuff before you make anything. Plus what ever it cost you to get there. So I would have to sell 25 quids worth of stuff before I made a penny. And we all know that that is not guaranteed that you will make that money back. But it is a large car boot with dealers and normal booter people. Sorry not got that much good to say but I always am honest in my reviews. Keep looking honesty as always my friends. X

We not only went to the garden centre but also spent the day at the Maze and play park. Great fun for the children (it was not busy when we were there). Ample free parking with several options for food and drink (I can personally recommend the ploughman's!) All in all, a great family day out!

Dog friendly, pleasant experience. Our food was very tasty despite how busy they were after the car boot, but I would add one thing, my egg, sausage, and bacon sandwich was sincerely let down by the bread! It was far too flimsy! A big bap or rustic style bread might be better! I had to eat it with a knife and fork 🤣🍽

Hands down this has got to be one of my favorite garden centers since moving to the UK. We have a lovely garden center only 6 minutes from us, but will go out of our way to travel to Skylark from the Haddenham area. The staff here is incredibly helpful and friendly. There is always some sort of deal on plants, the cafe, or the inside shopping area. Last time we even got a very large beautiful glazed pot free with our total order. Also the farm stand in the parking lot has the best eggs from their chickens.

We visited again November 2023. This was for trip out, thanks to my daughter and son-in-law. I had a really good, appetising, tasty Sunday lunch. Later I took a few photos of the 4 pygmy goats. Really brilliant. Very good selection of all things garden related. Some were too expensive for me, others good value. Toilets very clean, with sanitiser available. Only let down for me, and anyone who has walking/standing problems was the lack of any seating, except in the café. Home now and suffering from walking too far.

Beautiful garden centre, wouldn't say it is massive but a good size! Love all the local food and drink selections. The cafe... It is amazing! Breakfasts are the best around, absolutely stunning, fresh, and perfectly cooked, kudos to the chef! The staff are always so lovely, thank you!!

What it is, is, you never quite know what to expect from Skylark. Today it's full of Christmas, a supreme toasted teacake and perfectly percolated coffee. Extraordinary, as ever. Probably the very best cheese scone I've ever tasted: warm from the oven with plenty of butter. Sensational.

Called in mid morning for a bacon sandwich in the cafe while ordering my spring supplies for the garden,which were delivered later in the week (free). Good selection for breakfast food.Three rashers and cooked properly as you expect.Pleasant staff throught and an easy way to pass a couple of hours.Convenient store with good selection,i hope they can sell all that garden furniture ,a really extensive display for anybody in the market for it

So much to see and read, a wonderful museum. People are wonderful who work there.

Sad to find it closed until the weekend. We previously visited from Australia in June2000, almost 45 years after beginning school here in September 1955. The museum was great back then and would have liked to see it today.

Lovely museum full of local and fenland history. Exhibits often change so always worth another visit. Free admission as Museum runs on donations. So please if you do visit leave a little in the donation box

This museum is one of the best i have been to,March is not a massive town but it has a fantastic history. We spent about 1 1/2 hours looking round and need to go back again. This is only open on wednesdays and saturdays but its well worth a visit. No charge for admission but donations . accepted

What a wonderful local museum. So many items to see all with local connections. Some displays in historical contex other in subject selections. Lots of information either with the exibitions, in folders and pictures or from the very helpful and friendly local staff. Well worth many vists as will see different perespectives on each visit. Well done to the Museum and local supporters. And its free but please consider supportive donation.

Main interest is the vaulted ceiling which is why you should visit. Church also has a small area in remembrance of a WW2 pilot who gave his life to steer a bomber away from the town. Church is nice interesting and peaceful to sit quietly

This is a must see , 118 angels on the roof inside (and 1 devil) , give it a wow factor. The wood carving on the font is top notch and the stained glass is also beautiful highly recommended

This is a lovely church with a fantastic arched ceiling. The grounds are well kept and there are a few benches for quiet contemplation. Its in a quiet end of town and parking is not a problem in the street to the front. The services are friendly and welcoming. I would heartily recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Although I'll never do this again, it was brilliant. This boat was a year old and kitted out beautifully. Two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. Fully loaded kitchen...the meals we were able to cook...mwah! The people at Fox Narrowboats were lovely smiling people. Their happiness was contagious. They even let you pre-order to have a Tesco delivery loaded on board. It's a very lovely setup for beginners and experienced narrowboat-ers. But beginners be aware that it isn't simple to keep the long boat away from the shores and/or putting it gently into the locks. You must take your time and concentrate. I am ex-navy, familiar intimately with water, but this is something completely different. There are no real waves, but a passing boat can make you feel like there are. This experience was one of my best trips taken over the years because the narrowboat community is welcoming and very inviting. For this reason alone, I'd go again, but as a novice 60-foot narrowboat skipper, I will say only, "been there...got the t-shirt." I've got new grey hair from the responsibility...lol.

A wonderful family day out - we hired the Adventurer Narrowboat for the day. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Boat was clean and well equipped.

We really enjoyed our day on The Adventure narrow boat, which was smart and well equipped. Going through the Marmont Priory lock was educational and also fun. We indulged in some Glam Grazing by Gem (afternoon tea) on board which was excellent. All 10 of us had a great day.

Day Boat hire. We were due to go earlier in the year but due to high winds got postponed. Just been and we absolutely loved it. 2 families with 5 children between 7 and 16. Really well kitted out and team couldnt have been more welcoming and helpful. Lovely and peaceful and all the other boaters and fisherman we encountered were very friendly. I'd definitely do this again and recommend it to others. Thanks

My wife and I come from Sweden and had a plan for hiring a narrowboat. We have hired the Rural Fox for one week from Fox Narrowboats in March. We came fram March and drove the boat till Oundle. The river Nene is beautiful and peaceful and the boat life i easy going. Friendly people you meet during the journey. The boat is easy to drive and the locks are fun to deal with. We will thanks the people from Fox Narrowboats for the help and organization to make our week really unforgettable. The boat was in perfekt condition, clean and cosy. Hired a narrowboat for the day. Staff very professional and friendly. After a quick training session we were on our way. We still had lots learn! Time flew fly by and overall we had a brilliant day. We will certainly do again - Thank you

20 old geezers took a couple of boats for a day out and enjoyed it immensely. Staff were extremely helpful. You want to see all these old farts walking the plank to enable us to shore and hobble to the Fish and Chip shop. Well worth the money.

Fantastic service from everyone at the marina. I unexpectedly landed here in need of repairs, which were done first thing the next day. So much more efficient than I'd anticipated. Really beautiful place, very close to the shops too.

We took Platinum Fox out with our 3 children for a long weekend and it was the best! Never long boated before, but staff were super friendly and helpful, boat was really tidy and comfy, highly recommended!

Open area with a number of descriptive boards talking about the age and purpose of the obvious earthworks around. Like other reviewers have said, there is limited clearance for low cars so be careful. Also, sheep were grazing so be careful with your dogs!

Not much there, just earthworks but tranquil place for a walk. It's likely there will be sheep there so not ideal for dogs and they will need to be on a lead at all times. Access rd not great if your vehicle has limited ground clearance, small grass parking area, about 1 mile from B1093.

Went for the new BlackRock steak house - good food, good service and fairly priced , if your looking for something a little different give the black rock a try, worth it for sure .

Great barman, Damian, we ended up being the only ones left and he did not once make us feel like he wanted us to leave, in fact he came and joined us at our invitation and had us laughing within moments! It's a shame that more customers weren't around to add to the atmosphere, come on people of March, let's make the Cock Inn our new local!

Bought 2 large vegan pizzas here on Saturday..firstly they were over cooked .then I was disappointed they were like warm ..But the worst thing of all was the topping .smothered in tomatoes and hardly any topping .the vegan chicken pizza had 7 little spreads on .and the veg were cut so thin you could nearly see through them .how disgusting they were .I've personally used Domino's for years everywhere before tried the vegan .NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE DOMINOS .absolutely terrible

Quality control is awful. We order from here regularly and more than half the time my veggie supreme has arrived with chunks of chicken, pepperoni or ham on it. After the last time we decided enough is ENOUGH and we won't be ordering from this branch until quality control is improved. I have not had this issue with any other branch and it is unacceptable. The odd mistake like this is understandable but it's been happening almost every time we order recently.

The food delivery time is quite fast, normally around 6-8 minutes. I've noticed that the food tastes better in the evenings and nights, and it looks like it's made differently. I'm not sure why, but it's good to know. I used to order more often, but I've been cooking more at home lately; however, for a quick and easy dinner, this place is definitely a good option. It's worth noting that delivery can be quite costly. Even with deals, you'll likely pay more than £20 for a single pizza. In comparison, collection can save you a lot of money, for example a large two-topping pizza costing less than £8.

The food is good but its the second time they have an item missing. Tonight it was the coleslaw, last time was the ice cream.

I placed an order and I was called by one of the members of staff telling me that they can’t make the food because of the amount of flies in the building due to the heat, cannot refund until 3-5 working days. What is that even about what restaurant is unable to make food because it’s “unsafe” as the lady said. Will not be ordering again if they can’t make food due to the amount of flies in the building

Pizzas were lovely but was quite disappointed to find the double decadence I'd paid extra for was next to none existent. Can you please make sure in the future that if someone pays for this extra that you actually put a decent amount in so they can actually taste it.🙄

Worst customer service, partner has NHS card but the so called manager said we cannot use this card as our order was part of a deal, nowhere on their web site does it state this cannot be used in conjunction with meal deals, I will be calling head office first thing Monday morning as I now have a hungry family, domino’s really need to employ people who understand the law and not cheap labour from overseas.

I had stopped walking this route because I thought it was now a dog park for free roaming dogs not a nature reserve. But now it appears it has become a dog park for those who let their dogs off leads. No wonder people are finding the wildlife and birds scares especially at breeding season. I met a lovely gentleman today clearing access to the reserve I hope his efforts are appreciated.

Lovely place for walk

It's alright. Nothing exciting, really. It's just a straight trail, with a little detour that has a rundown pond and overgrown nettle paths. Good for the wildlife though. If this wasn't there, it would just be boring flat farmland. Whitmoor Nature Reserve on the opposite side of the road is much nicer for dog walking.

Always a pleasant walk. The main path is solid so not too muddy in wet weather.

I do like the walk apart from dog owners who do not clear that up after or put the dog mess in a bag but do not take it to a bin , there are 2 bins

Let's be honest, it's simply a long path (with hedgerows) through a load of windswept fields. Hedgerows are very important for wildlife but I seldom see, or indeed hear much in the way of birdlife. Very popular with dog walkers and mountain biker's. Pictured is one of the only points of interest off the path, a small pond between the path and adjacent field. Access to the pond has recently been improved with a nice level (safe) path leading directly to a platform on the pond. The area to the left of the pond tends to flood when the pond overflows in winter.

Rings end is a great place to walk the dog, though there are clearly a number of inconsiderate dog walkers that give the rest of us a bad name. There’s no excuse, there are 2 dog bins. It’s a lovely walk along a former railway line about 3/4 mile long with a number of seats along the way. The car park can be muddy but the track is mostly dry and an easy walk. Even in winter it’s s nice outlook across the fens. I’m sure it’s beautiful in summer.

Open again for 2017 after a couple of years flooded this is a little gem 200 yards north of March railway station. Large wetland board walk is well maintained - and the nature part speaks for itself! Dogs welcome on leads, lovely spots for a picnic.

It is a nice place to have a small walk, and to take your dog for a walk, but it is nothing specal. Once you have been, you will see it is nice to walk about but not more than once. Unless you want to walk the dog or go for a run.

This place is awesome but stopped going due to dog poo, dog poo and dog poo. The board walk is two and a half foot wide and then u come across a massive dog poo right in the middle of it. Got sick and tired of poo so we haven't been in months. Shame

Very nice for a walk and with an abundance of butterflies at the right time of year. Not a lot else to do there but good for an hour or so.

We love going here but do wish some of the dog walkers would clean up there mess so we can enjoy it more

Simple and small peaceful church.

Lovely airfield and extremely helpful staff. I've flown a couple of times from Chatteris on their flying start package and highly recommend. Both flights were with Adrian who is a fantastic flight instructor. Enjoyed every minute of my tuition and look forward to qualifying.

I found Cambridgeshire Microlights after searching for local airfields near me with the hopes of beginning my journey to obtain my NPPL licence (or at least give it a good go). After a conversation with the CFI Katie, I agreed to have a trial flight and haven't stopped flying since. I've had the privilege of flying with both Adrian and Katie. Both offer upmost professionalism and have a teaching style which just seems to work really well for me and I'm sure it will also for many others if not everyone who's interested in learning to fly. The training aircraft for students is kept in very good condition and is cleaner than most cars on UK roads and is also an extremely stable aircraft to fly. The airfield is very well maintained by Pat who works extremely hard to ensure that the standards of the club are upheld and the airfield is tidy, safe and clean. If you're considering learning to fly, I'd recommend at least a trial flight. It's inexpensive compared to other General Aviation flying however I'd argue that it's twice as fun!

I had my first set of flying lessons yesterday at Cambridge Microlight and it was an exceptional experience! My flight instructor, Adrian, was very patient and very skilled, and taught is a very relaxed environment with a lot of attention to detail. Highly recommend this school for those looking to start their flying experience or learning with a great team of instructors. Thank you Adrian for a wonderful experience yesterday!

I had a 1hr learning to fly experience with Cambridgeshire Microlights. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel really welcome. Before the lesson I was able to chat with some of the private owners all of which were very friendly and welcoming. My instructor was very knowledgeable tailoring his delivery to my experience. No messing around with getting in the air, after a safety briefing and run down of the equipment we were soon in the air and the controls handed over. During the lesson I was instructed through the basic controls. I flew right through to the approach. I really enjoyed the experience and will be booking lessons in the near future. Thank you guys

Outstanding from start to finish. What a wonderful experience flying over the Cambridgeshire countryside in the C42. Adrian was an excellent instructor and with any luck, I hope to visit again.

Chatteris is a great place to learn, I began my training there in September with Adrian, who is very knowledgeable and patient. The microlight club is also very friendly and a cup of tea is always on offer!
