I would like to call this "Nature retreat camp". A private farm very well maintained with descent options for refreshment which includes authentic, classic style or you may call it ethnic style recreational activities. Horse riding, horse chariot, boating, circus, puppet show etc are some of the activities to name. If you want to go for 1 day outing especially for the people looking for orthodox style retreats then this is the place.

The experience was quite nice. It's a good getaway for those living in South Karnataka, but those in North Karnataka might feel this to be a very mediocre thing. The overall ambience, atmosphere and rural setting was amazing, but the food was very forgettable. During Summers, eating should be a pleasant affair, but it turned out to be tiring. Also, the rain dance arena could have been a little more closer and better with areas dedicated for kids, women and men separately. The music for the rain dance was also not very kid-friendly. Music played at such loud volume could cause some serious damage to little kids who just want to enjoy a little dance in the rain-like atmosphere. Rest, there's a lot of scope to improve the environment.

Ambience- Its really good. Large area amidst well grown trees. Neatly maintained farm with good activities. Service - The staff is helpful and polite. Food - Major highlight of the farm is the north karnataka dishes for lunch. It was really delicious and well cooked food. Must try meals for afternoon lunch. The evening Jaggery tea is a must have when you visit. You can spend good time with family and friends exploring the village culture and north karnataka food. Agadi Thota was a novel experience for us. The place served tasty North Karnatakan food and had various activities to keep you engaged throughout the day. My daughter loved interacting with the animals and seeing things like goli soda, barbecued sweet potato, bullock carts, hand-juiced sugarcane, napping chairs, etc. which one doesn't see much of, nowadays. Would advise anyone to reach as early as possible to enjoy maximum.

Ah ! Must say a great place to enjoy with your family and friends, far away from all the city life . They have a lot of activities for you and kids as well . Located on the outskirts of Hubli near unkal lake brts stop,is a popular visiting place.lake is believed to be over 100 years and spread across 200acres.its a fabulous place to feel the sunset along with family and kids.there is a boating facility and visit the Swami Vivekananda's status located middle at the lake.entey fees is 10rs per person.though city garbage and unwanted plants over lake may be cleaned more regular interval but sorry from this it's a place to visit must if you are in Hubli.

Great place for walkers and jogger’s . We could only make 1/4th round of the entire lake . According to the security of the lake the entire periphery of the lake is about 6.5 kms . The lake closes at 07:00 pm . If you are planning to cover the entire round then have ample time before you take the full circle. The lake is just next to Hotel naveen . The pavement have been well laid . There are lights out along the track so that the move may be smooth . There is a sun set view point at the enterance at a heightened location . There is an eatery/restaurant at the entrance where you can grab snack before you set out for walking . Entrance fee is 10/- and parking fee is also 10/- . If you are in Hubballi and not sure where to go in the evening then this is a good place to explore .

Nice place to enjoy cool evening breeze sitting by the side of the lake... But the garden adjacent to it lacks maintenance... Everything there is rusty and shows lack of maintenance...Two viewpoints are there...view of the lake and sunset is stunning from the towers...Entry fee is Rs.10 for adults and Rs.5 for kids... Ample amount of parking space both for two and four wheelers available in front of the gate...it is paid parking... But if you don't want to pay you can park your car by the side of main road...

I am a resident of Jaipur and have been visiting lake for long walks ever since childhood. I have seen people from all walks of life come to lake for morning and evening walks. I like to walk the talk here with friends and family. The environment of the lake is very conducive for deep introspection. Watching the sunrise or sunset gives me an exhilarating experience and makes me feel one with God and Nature. Of late you can see the water shimmering like silver if you go around 5:30 or 6:00 pm and makes the whole area look so calm and serene and beautiful. At the other end of the lake there is now a Buddha Park with a very beautiful calm and serene statue of Lord Buddha in sitting pose. At the entrance you will find the lake club, restaurant, lots of vendors selling eatables, and a big play zone for kids where you can enjoy with kids. Also, there are ducks in the lake which you can feed or go for a boat ride. There are plenty of things to do here. It has become an activity centre for people. All in all an enjoyable experience.

A breezy place with wonderful views of the lake and its surroundings. A statue of Swami Vivekananda stands at the centre of the lake. We viewed the lake from the adjoining park and also the temple side.

Unkal lake is spread across 200 acres of land. Center of the lake is situated the statue of Swami Vivekananda which is the prime attraction of the lake. The walking pathways are not well maintained. There is a temple near by. The lake itself is not very clean. Plastic and Pooja items are seen floating. Needs to be maintained. People shouldn't be allowed to throw waste into this lake.

Unkal lake is a beautiful lake located in Unkal a suburb of Hubli city towards Dharwad Road The sunrise and sunset are delight to watch at this lake. It has a play area for kids and a well maintained garden with lush green lawns This lake used to supply drinking water in early sixties till early eighties There was a pump house below the lake near lingraj Nagar which was demolished recently.This lake has airport in its vicinity The landing planes are treat to watch flying close over this lake. There are plans to restart boating and water sports. A statue of swami vivekananda is installed on an small island in middle of this lake. This lake covers an area of 10 acres appx.

Before the place was so good to look and to enjoy.. Now it's became very dirty all drainage water is entering into it. And if u even go for boating u will get kind of disease/infection.. Ya but still it's a nice place to enjoy and have fun with friends and family..

Good place to spend some decent time with family. There is a place for kids to play also to excercise there are few equipments have been kept. Seperate section for girls and boys. There is a electrical vehicle facility available at just 20/- per person including up and down. There is a canteen with limited items. Taste wise it's good.

Nrupatunga Betta, a beautiful hillock, is a one of the main tourist spot in Hubli. It has been developed into a good picnic spot. Also includes a children park. Have best hubballi girmit here. And view hubballi city from top. Best viewed in the evening.

It's a nice place. But somehow huballi has failed to maintain it. They take an entrance fee of Rs.20. So they should be maintaining this place well. Cleanliness is fine. But aesthetically the place has to be made more attractive. I hope they would someday improve this. It's filled with couples everywhere on almost every single day. Hence all those who are single, just walk and look straight 😜 you will not feel left out.

My rating is for the food court management.. I visited the mall today. There's a token system where we need to pre purchase tokens worth 300 and use them against food at the food court. The lady issuing the token cancelled the transaction on the EDC machine- my gpay payment was successful.. And they denied me the tokens said my amount will be refunded as their EDC machine failed to print the transaction. Sriram the manager/owner of the food court operations wasn't helpful either. Insisted on me paying again and said tomorrow they will check if they have received the payment n refund me my money. Though the taste was good.. The first hand experience was very bad.. It's a pity they have limited options which the customers still prefer to use.. But these elements shoo the users away..

Nice temple One of the largest Krishna temple in North Karnataka has been constructing here, which will be finished approximately within 2 years. One thing I don't like about these people(gurus) here is that they only insist on believing Krishna, but for me I think one is free to choose his own deity, so I like Shiva but I also believe in others god's. So that's -ve aspect. Other things to consider ( mera opinion) > Ramakrishna Ashrama is in better position compared to others because it gives freedom of choice, I like going there and praying because there I find gurus are truly insist on personal growth as well as they give sense of pride as Indian ( because I belive in SWAMI VIVEKANANDA teachings) And it'll develop sense of nationalism. Anyway it's your choice, ultimately our Indian culture matters

Jay Shree Krishna, ISKCON temple is the most famous and peaceful loving temple. This temple is located within the twin City Dharwad- hubbali. At the transport facility you can get many there is a bus facility called chigari which is of AC Service. Overall the most peaceful and beautiful temple I have ever seen till.

Indira Gandhi Glass House located at Hubli near old bus stand. Peoples are coming in the morning for exercise and Yoga. Garden are decorated with different plants and trees. It is Best place for relaxation with children and families. Well maintained Garden, Clean and proper maintained. Parking facilities are available. A Beautiful Structure of grilled and glass. Nice design..

We decided to go out somewhere away from work, but as usual, we had no plans. We saw YouTube videos, but they were all in Kannada, which we didn't understand. But we read the name "Indira Gandhi Glasshouse" and decided to go there. There was a proper parking lot at the site, and we saw a sign that said parking was Rs 20 for two-wheelers and Rs 30 for four-wheelers. We drove into the parking lot, but there was no one to collect the fee. We ran before anyone could find us. After all, who doesn't like free things? We headed towards the ticket counter, but our happiness was short-lived. The man at the counter told us that we had to pay for parking. All our running in the hot sun had been for nothing. We went inside, but the glasshouse was closed. They had made many decorative things, and we saw a train, but it was charging Rs 50 per head. We preferred to just watch the children of wealthy parents ride it. To be frank, it sounded like a rickshaw whose CNG was about to get over, and it had a very annoying horn. We thought we were blessed not to waste our money on it. We sat on a pole and enjoyed quality time talking and gossiping with our family, feeling the cool breeze and watching the children play boat, run, and ride the train. After that, we decided to explore more. We went a little ahead and found a park with gym equipment, including a chair to lift one's own weight. We saw many aunts and uncles enjoying themselves. We went further and smelled ammonia. I could see a washroom far away. No wonder people hated to travel. We crossed it and found many people sitting on the ground with carpets and food, enjoying a picnic. A boy was playing football. We saw various wooden structures and pretty artificial animals along the way. Then we went back to the origin point of the train and said goodbye to the security guard who had charged us for parking.

Indira Gandhi Glass House is named after the late leader Mrs.Gandhi. This place has an excellent glass house that hosts numerous exhibitions & events. The highlight of the park is the sculptures of people & animals around park. Plantation of various species of trees and beautifully crafted green lawns make this place more attractive. This park includs Skating ground, an aquarium(closed) and a small restaurant also. This place is very close to Hubli Bus stand and could be a great tourist attractions if cleanines & maintenance had been taken proper care by the authorities. Even the main glasshouse is in pathetic condition. From the hustle & bustle of the city, this garden provides greenery and peace of mind. One can sit & spend time with family and friends. It's good for morning walkers as well as elders for excercise and meditation.

Nice place for relaxing. The morning is too good when compared with evening. The place is very green and neat. It is a big area which offer picnic spots, skating ground, parks... etc. There is a mini train service. Toilet facilities are also available. The ticket rate is very cheap and perfect place for family.

The most attraction is laser water show and many kids rides are available. Nice walkways and super garden. I recommend to visit the place in evening only.

A great place to enjoy a day. This place is really one of the best in Hubli. Anyone can come here, no problem if you are alone or are couples or family. Good place to bring kids too. So much place to relax and enjoy. Kids will really love this place. There is a toy train and musical fountain, but I didn't see both working, looks like they are not operating them nowadays (as of 14-June-2022). Entry fee is ₹10. Parking space is available.

Drainage water is flows in to the lake. Stinking, dirty smell is common here. No maintenance of plants, lawn. There are hardly any public gardens in Dharwad and the one which can be a beautiful garden is in pathetic condition

This temple is aged to the Kalyani Chalukya era, can be termed as the most beautiful temples you'll find in all of Dharwad district, it's a hidden gem covered with houses all around, try visiting the temple early in the morning to witness a beautiful view of the temple!

The Chandramouleshwar Temple in Unkal is estimated to be 900-year-old built in the 11th-12th century during the Badami Chalukyan era. The Chandramouleshwar temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple has marvelous sculptures that attract any art lover. Due to its archeological importance, the temple is preserved and maintained by the Archeological Survey of India. It was built on the lines of Badami, Aihole, and Pattadakal temples. According to legend, the temple was built overnight by a group of anonymous artisans and sculptors. Since the temple was constructed in a night, and as the artisans couldn't finish the whole work in one night, the temple structure is incomplete. Unlike other temples, the temple doesn't have a gopura.

Very crowded places. Traffic are little dense in the peak hours. Totally Hubli is not good for traffic sense . But Railway station & Bus stand are well planned with new amenities . Great city.

Best place to spend with family!! Price without food post 2.30pm untill 5.30 pm will cost you 300/person , if you prefer food then +100...If you want to spend whole day then it will cost Rs.550. From my perspective with respective pool I think 3hours is sufficient to play here along with children

Hubli water world 10 km away from Hubli Towards Kalghatgi Road near Mishrikoti village. Is an mini water amusement park is an ideal picnic spot for middle class families . The park includes a canteen safe for families and kids Rates are moderate and affordable.more crowded on weekends. Advance booking is available Not bad for tier two cities like Hubli Dharwad.

Worst for one day visit. Suggest everyone go 3pm to 5.30 pm. For lunch takes 100 ₹ but quality is poor as well as service also very bad. Wave pool is not working still they charges same amount as before. They mention so many things for lunch but give only 4 to 5 items.

Clean.. very family friendly. Safe for kids because staff are very alert & caring during water games. Lunch was delicious & served hot. Had complete fun.

It's not worth of money..... No any playing games at all... Just one wavepool where u don't even feel the waves n two slopes that's it.... Nothing else.... The food ws very normal.. They cost 250 for this bt it's lyk 50 rupees.... We can just relax in the water nothing else.... I didn't lyk it a single bit....I want give minus stars

Murugha Mutt is a lingayat monastery functioning from pre-independence era. This year (2024) I found the annual fair pretty much crowded.

It's a Hindu temple, here yearly once the Fair will be held. It's most beautiful to see. Thousands of Devotees are come to see Fair. Very crowded place it was.

This is the place for number of students coming from different places. It's was constructed before independence 1928. More than 500 students attend school and even hostel facility is also available. Bhakti with knowledge leads to success. People who have learnt here has reached the success and those PPL are serving this murgha Muth. Every year there will be fair where mum er of plays are present. Inside the Muth there are 2 gurus status seperately constructed. Devotees visit this place regularly and sit for yoga. Even the library facilities are also available for public from morning 8:30 to 12noon, evening 4 to 8pm .

I use the library here regularly timings are 8:30-11:30 morning 4- 8 pm evening Monday and 4th Saturday off govt holidays off very nice infrastructure and it's completely free u can carry your own books or you can read from the available books as welll

Historical Temple located at centre of Old Hubli, very cool and calm place. It's the protected monument by Govt of Karnataka.

This is probably a 1000 year old temple built during the Chalukyan time. The temple has three Garbhagudi (sanctum) hence its called as a Trikutachala.

Yes, its a temple built by the legendary sculptor Jakkana Acharya, might be a millennium young! Solid black rock pillars with minute carving, typical of Jakkana sculpture. USP of this temple is that both Bhavani Shankara and Lord Vishnu are the creation of Jakkana. One can actually feel it by seeing both idols, ..minute, proportionately carved reflecting Divine Love. Calm, quiet and peaceful. And you can see Lord Ganesha too on other side. You also find Lord Surya Bhagwan and Lord Shankar deities. You also can see Sapta Matruke, means seven mothers lined up starting with Lord Veerabhadra Swamy ended up with Lord Ganesha. As soon as you enter, you feel better and peaceful inside the temple. The structure inside was in a weak condition. But later it was reconditioned by Sri. Veerendra Hegde some twenty years ago. Sri. Hegde has been into this philanthropic activities of reconditioning ancient temples in Karnataka, thus helpful in retaining our ancient heritage and culture. In fact temples are Mirrors of our glorious history! So, we should be grateful to Sri Hegde for this great job. In fact this Bhavani Shankara temple is one of the oldest in Hubli. Other one is Chandramouleshwara temple in Unkal, Hubli. Appeal to all, please visit the temple. Thanks Murugesh Hubli

The temple is also of lord Shiva and structure is very old and many art design of walls lost its form in the period and lapse of time. Care is required for maintenance.

Nuggikeri Hanuman Temple (ನುಗ್ಗಿಕೇರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಹನುಮಾನ್ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ) is one of the oldest and popular Hindu temples in Dharwad, The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Hanuman and the temple complex also houses other deities viz. Lord Rama, Lord Shiva, Goddess Saraswathi, Goddess Durga, Goddess Santoshimata, Lord Venugopala Swamy, and Lord Jagannath. The temple is located at the airport road and 18 km away from central Hubli, Dharwad, Karnataka. Devotees come from different regions to this temple. Very beautiful temple on lake side, visited it after long time. I could see significant change in terms of cleanliness and parking facilities. We parked near walking path opposite to lake and walked alongside lake to temple. Very highly recommended to get blessings and enjoy nice views, especially in monsoon season 🙏🏽

Huge crowds will be there on Saturdays, maintained very well, a beautiful lake is there ,and Lilies in lake, on Saturdays food stalls will be there, in weekdays you can't find crowds and can visit and sit peacefully. Easily accessible by bus and private vehicles at toll naka you can find vehicles to reach temple.

Beautiful temple with lake in the surrounding ! Temple is very well maintained with plenty of parking space. Road leading to the temple is patchy is few stretches. One can enjoy a nice walk by the lake side after visiting the temple.

Nuggikeri is a special place to all the Dharwad people, most of us visit the temple every Saturday. You will be able to see 2 ways to visit the temple, from main entrance u won’t be able to reach visit through any vehicle because it’s only for those who come by walk. For those who would like to come through vehicle they can join from the second route. Temple is an amazing positive area, it makes you feel so happy and peaceful, it feels really great to visit every weekend. It’s better to visit in the morning ( early morning) that would be my recommendation to the visitors because it will be more crowded at the evening.

Excellent and unique place to spend an hour or so. The concept is very novel, and all kinds of solar power based equipnents a and gadgets are on display. You can also buy some items such as solar powered cool cap, and mobile charger. There is a small temple devotees to Sun god in the courtyard. A must see for all science enthusiasts.

This Museum has almost all the equipments which uses sun rays as source of energy. The place is not kept clean. Usefull for school students, Diploma and Engineering students. There are working models of cookers, Solar Lights, solar Driers etc. They do take orders for different solar products and deliver at your house at reasonable price. They also undertake school and college projects in solar energy field.

A comprehensive collection of solar devices in one location with a knowledgeable person guiding the visitors. Some items are available for sale. The museum has an entry fees of Rs. 35 per person (14th February 2019). Recommended.

Product is good but service is poor. Instlation time used poor gum for pipes. After one hour it's full leaking the water, I called sun ray owner he said contact nearby plumber. But plumber charges we should pay.so service part is not at all good

Nice place to visit for a day,, small swimming pool and services is good, food is good north Karnataka style food they will serve. Staffs are well trained, hospitality is super.

Nature first ecovillage is a good place to visit with ur friends.. specially the lunch was great different types of variety was there n swimming pool was osm , there is only one duck , I felt she was lonely , she need a companion.

We stayed a night here recently. The place is simply beautiful and true to its name. It was just me and my kids and we never had to step out for anything. My kids aged 9 and 12 had something to do and explore the whole time. The rooms were basic and clean and comfortable. The food was homestyle and simple and excellent. They made accommodations for my kids meal requests. What made the stay memorable are the people and the staff. Manjunath and Santosh were so hospitable and attentive... it felt like we were visiting family. As a woman traveling alone, we felt very safe. My kids and I thought we should have stayed here longer. Definitely recommending to our friends and we'll visit again.

Nature First Eco village is a very nice place to visit with your family. It has many fun and adventurous activities and games. There you can do activities like boat riding, swimming, bullock cart riding and can play games like archery, ladder golf, trampoline etc. There are 2 swimming pools where we can have fun. Their food is very healthy and delicious. The price is very much resonable and their service is very good. The place is very clean. You must visit it with your family.

Overall, we had a good experience. The only thing is that in this hot summer, they could have kept clean drinking water at various places so that people who visit could easily take advantage.

I wanted to make a booking for about 20 people to stay. I called their number to enquire. I asked if I could visit to see the place before booking. They said we have to pay Rs. 300/- per person (we are four people - Rs.1200/-) just to see the place! This is the only place where you have to pay money to just see it before buying it! With this attitude I decided not to pursue this and go somewhere else. Recommend avoiding this place.

I am from Goa. Never seen such lovely place with lot of greenery. Had it been in Goa it would have been busy for 365 days. Never miss to visit this place once in your life time. Thank you everyone who took care of us at eco village.
