Crazy? More like weird. Haha only 60K a ticket. We came here in the afternoon on a Friday and it was fairly empty. The space is huge! You can easily get lost but that makes it fun. Be careful as you climb the stairs as some are very narrow and hand rails are short and these stairs can be very high so one stupid move and you could fall and hurt yourself badly. We only saw 1 staff at the front of the entrance. Lots of photo opportunities. Make sure you explore everything. They even have rooms for rent if you dare and they are still adding new additions.
We loved Crazy house. It’s a bit nuts, walkway barriers are low so take care but bend around and over the whole building.
Price is very reasonable and would recommend the cafe at the back in the garden for a quick drink, again fair prices. The underwater themed room was our favourite.
A fun morning out exploring the Crazy House for around £2pp. We enjoyed looking around all the rooms at the art work, some of the hotel rooms and passage ways. You can enjoy cafe snacks/coffee/smoothies in various places dotted around.
I would suggest going in the morning, although it was still busy when we went by the time we were leaving it was much much busier.
this place was insanely good! the structure was beautiful and creative and our room had a whimsical eagle sculpture watching over us (we named him ronaldo). only downside was that because of how beautiful the place is, people were constantly walking past and occasionally tapping our windows during opening hours and we also had a limited hot water supply for the ginormous bath provided. neither of these things were deterrents though, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend!!
Didn't stay here cause it is quite expensive. Just came for the day to check it out. 80k entrance fee which is also quite high. If you're a cheapskate, you could try sneaking in through the back entrance through the crazy coffee shop. It was a pretty cool place, very unique, worth checking out for sure. I spent about an hour or 2 slowly making my way through every place.
The place is absolutely mind blowing. It’s is very large and unusual and you can imagine that a lot of money was spent on this weird and extravagant building. There alot of stairs that go up and down all over the place. There is also a large garden and weird statues and sculptures. It’s a must visit if you like seeing weird and unusual things. You can cover the whole place in around 30-40mins.
Be warned that some stairs are very dangerous so try and see where they go before you decide to use those stairs. Some stairs don’t have hand rails and can go up 3 stories so you don’t want to be climbing those stairs because if you slip, it’s a death sentence. The height of the steps are also not uniform so you can trip easily so walk slowly. I don’t recommend this place if you are elderly. If you have kids, keep a close eye on them otherwise an accident can be waiting to happen.
I recently had the opportunity to visit a stunningly designed architectural masterpiece and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. Bizarre and fascinating. We loved exploring the Crazy House especially walking along the narrow, abstract, and meandering staircases that lead to other mini pockets of madness. If you like art or wacky things, you must visit this place.
This place gets super busy at all times with intrigued visitors alike, so be prepared for traffic as you marvel at the structures and scenes this house has to offer. There’s also a place to grab a bite and coffee that is semi-attached to the garden area of Crazy House - Crazy Coffee. A nice place to take a moment after exploring the madness of this place.
In all honesty we were apprehensive about visiting this place as we tend to stray from the overly touristic activities whilst travelling, but I felt compelled to see the Crazy House as I love bizarreness. Although very touristy, it didn’t take away from the experience and I’d definitely recommend visiting here regardless.

- Purchase a ticket from the tiny booth just to the left of the entrance before you proceed. We noticed a fair few people being confused as to where tickets are possessed as it kind of looks like just another part of the building as opposed to a kiosk.
Really cool place to visit and see in Dalat. It's like a maze of different architecture pieces and buildings.
Only let downs was some of it doesn't seem to be quite finished - random cement and paint left around unattended. Also the "history of..." room - no actual information it seems about the construction or design, just a ton of photos (it does include some development photos) of people and no explanations as to who they are or why they are important - could definitely improve here especially for foreign visitors.
Otherwise definitely worth a few hours to visit!

Centred on Dalat city you can easily get there via walking or a grab/taxi and pay the entrance fee of 60,000k per person.
It is fun to explore and walk through all of the “crazy” walkways, paths and rooms!
Check it out for something to do, we were there about 45minutes. But you could do it faster or stay longer if you aren’t in a rush!
Such an epic piece of art. We unleashed our inner child and had so much fun discovering this place. It's bigger than you think, and especially beautiful around sunset! There is a hidden room towards the left top diagonal, if you find it you'll understand why this place is a 'gem'.
Very cool attraction to visit! Quite a weird place, feels like you’re in Alice in Wonderland! Doesn’t take long to walk around (30-40 minutes) but overall it’s worth it! 60k to enter :)
This place is definitely worth a visit. There are a lot of tiny paths to traverse. Make sure you aren't too too tall might feel like there is nothing up hold on to at times bridging between buildings.
The rooms in there are pricy by Vietnam standards and you might feel like you've become part of the exhibit but it's fun.
Laundry service was fast and reasonably priced.
Some rooms even have a working fireplace that they allowed me to use.
Me and my boyfriend were meant to stay here for 1 night, but we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay to 3 nights! We were in the ‘termite room’ which was the most special place I have ever slept! We had a fireplace and the whole room was covered in wood. It was very cozy indeed. The best thing about our stay however, were the absolutely incredible people working there, namely Hannah and the lady that made us breakfast! (We didn’t catch her name) their sweetness really added to the feeling that we were in some kind of fairy tale! We tried to tip Hannah several times but she would not accept, and said that she would instead prefer a hug! She is really such a kind and lovely person 😌 we really were made to feel at home at Crazy House, and we were astounded by the incredible architecture of Dang Viet Nga, I wish more architects around the world would have such a spectacular and whimsical vision of how the world should look, I think it would make the world a much happier place!

Great tourist spot! Highly recommend if you want to see something a little unusual in Da Lat. We walked through the park in about an hour and took some good photos. There’s also a really great view of the city from the top of the buildings. There is an entry fee and from memory it wasn’t very expensive.
It's nice for what it is. They have put in a lot of effort. Kind of a tourist trap, but doesn't take itself too seriously.
Interesting that it was built by the daughter of the third president. It must be good being well connected and building your fantasies.
You can stay in it as a hotel, but I'm not sure how comfortable that would be. Better to visit.
Crazy House didn’t really live up to the name. Although it is designed nicely, there isn’t a whole lot to do there. We had a quick walk through and then felt we wanted to leave. For quite a big area it was just walking up and down a lot of stairs with a similar look and feel.
From looking at photos I had low expectations of this house but thankfully I was proved wrong. It was much bigger than I thought and I really enjoyed climbing up all the stairs. The cafe at the entrance is reasonably priced. If it rains, as it did with me, there are places to hang out. Probably not great if you're scared of heights! It would be a great place to sleep - the rooms are so sweet - wish I'd have known about it.

I would like to say this place is amazing. Just walking distance from the town center. Try to come early and avoid after lunch where lots of crowd coming.
There are a total of 14 uniquely design room and I couldn't locate them all. Sounds crazy? It is because the whole place is a maze of stairs. If you want to challenge finding every room, stamina must be good, not scared of height, and strong healthy knees.
The stairs is narrow, the handle is low, and you expect tourist from different direction. So for those that have weak or injured knees, it will be a big struggle. For those that scared of height, the handle is low and you have to move away to let the tourist flow smoothly.
I can only say the designer is a genius, but there are few areas which are a bit eerie.
Overall. Totally worth the visit. I don't post the inside to avoid any spoiler. You just go there and explore.
Hey Google - I doubt you want to stay here, this place is not about accommodation! Designed by a Vietnamese architect and built over a period of thirty years, it is an expression of human interaction with nature.
Naturally a tourist trap, but still absolutely worthwhile to visit. Put it on your Viëtnam itinerary and spend at least an hour wandering around. Some of the outside stairs are not for the faint hearted or physically weak.
I visited this place just for a leisurely stroll and discovered that it is quite unique. It is one of the tourist attractions in Da Lat. The building's concept is very strange yet unique and eye-catching. You should add this place to your list of places to visit.
From the street, the Crazy House looks small, but in truth, it's huge! Every time I thought I got to the end, there was a new corner to explore. For 80,000, it's well worth the trip! I spent a good two hours exploring and would've spent more time but had plans.

Very cool museum/attraction. Was fairly busy but took 2 minutes to buy tickets and enter. Many paths to take so you don’t have to wait behind people. Really unique designs, you climb fairly high so it can be fun. Other than walking around there is not too much to do. Took us around 20/30 minutes to see everything.
It's a Gaudi style house on steroids. Not quite as refined as Gaudi but certainly creative and enjoyable. 80k dong entry.
It is also a hotel but there are so many tourist visitors that I don't believe the atmosphere would be so enjoyable for an overnight stay. Although the tourists do depart by 5pm.
Came here for the tourist attraction. Didn’t do much research on the place before coming and it was NOT what I expected, but most definitely was a good surprise! It’s like exploring a mix between Alice in wonderland and wonkas chocolate factory. Was a little busy when we went but when you venture to the garden areas it’s quite peaceful. Highly recommend for a different kind of activity!

高原と言うと鉄道でしょ。なんかそんな感じです。
というわけでダラットの鉄道駅舎です。良い感じに古めかしくてかわいいです。駅の中には撮影用に車輛があります。
鉄道に乗れば向かうのはTRAI MAT駅です。およそ30分の鉄道旅。他の方も書いてらっしゃいますが韓国のオバサンツアーで好まれて組み込まれているのか韓国のオバサンだらけでした。なので高原の鉄道に乗り車窓からの風になびかれて…という旅情を味わうのは困難ですが、楽しそうなオバサンを見ているのも、それはそれで楽しかったりします。
往復チケットもありますが私は片道切符を買い、LINH PHUOC寺見たりし、そこからグラブで中心地に戻りました。往復で買うと滞在時間が短いやらなんやらです。
なお時刻表は変わるみたいで、こちらのクチコミに7時45分と書かれているのを鵜呑みにして行ったところ25分発になってて目の前で出ていくのを見送る羽目にあいました。次は9時半ですって言われて出直しました。
なお駅の敷地に入るのに5,000ドン徴収されました。（2023年11月時点）

One of the most famous places of Đà Lạt. The entrance fee and packing fee is cheap but worth a visit! Sitting on the train, enjoying a cup of coffee and chatting with friends in the early morning is one of the best and most memorable experiences of the trip. If you are not a fan of coffee, using ice cream or Đà Lạt's specialties and buying carved images on wood or seed are also worth trying. I'm sure that many picturesque sceneries will be saved in your phone or camera after this!
French styled station, not in use for passenger services but short tourist rides can be taken. Lovely old buildings and gardens. A token fee to enter, 5000 dong, worth the payment if your in the area. A couple of good cafes here, not overpriced and serving good coffee.
This train station was built by the French so it is a unique station in Viet Nam. Now the train is used only to serve tourists so it just runs to Trai Mat (7km from the station). You can buy tickets directly from the ticket counter. Remember to visit it early because it open from 8am to 5pm.

Nice place to visit and it’s better if you don’t encounter bigs group of tourists. If you don’t take the train, you can enjoy the coffee at the coffee shop. There are two sites for restrooms but one of them is not functioning. Need more care from the operator, especially when it’s crowded.

There are 4 trips a day with minimum 15 passages from dalat to Lin Phuc pagoda..!!!

One of a few great buildings left from the old glorious day of Dalat. Nice spot to sit back and relax also. Often spend my time off at Latica - a well-established specialty coffee shop inside the station.
Nice Experience to know the train has been using in Vietnam from the French time and you can buy tickets to travel by the train here

Exploring Linh Phuoc Pagoda by Train
Upon arrival, there's an admission fee of 5,000 dong. For first-class round-trip train tickets, the cost is an additional 148,000 dong per person. The train ride takes about 25 minutes each way, followed by a 40-minute visit to the Linh Phuoc Pagoda.
It seemed to us that this time was not enough; we returned to this pagoda another day. But if you're in a hurry, you can kill two birds with one stone. We drove at sunset and the views were beautiful. The only thing that marred our trip were the hundreds of Chinese tourists, they were everywhere.
Fantastic place for taking pictures. Peaceful and clean. They take small fee at the entrance but it's fine. You don't need to buy any train ticket though. There's a restaurant in the train inside the station. There's an artist inside who would make your portrait as well. However you can't go inside of the train that stays there. A lot of flowers and greenery is around the place.
It is a good place for some photos, also there is service they write your name behind souvenirs, we pay 5000 VND for entrance
Unexpected attraction spot in DaLat.
The entrance fees for adult is 5,000d and scooter parking fee is 2,000d per bike.
We came around 4pm on weekday, and surprisingly there were many visitors and school kids flocking around and taking pictures. And there are many photo spots of old trains and cabooses.
We were bit lucky to see an incoming train into the track, but I wish I knew the schedule earlier to have a chance of riding it.
There is several small kiosks selling DaLat souvenirs and knickknacks, small cafes and small cute garden.
The station is closed around 5pm.
Nice enough place. Would park scooter outside to avoid paying a random person for parking. The 10k entrance fee is reasonable for the station. Inside there are some nice coffee shops and old trains you can go in or stand on for a pic. Nice quick stop off to visit and for a drink.
I went the 3 times. The first time was about 3 years back. Everything was slow and you are free to take photos. Then 1 year and a half year ago, they started to collect money for parking.
Just a typical old railway station with many stores selling accessories. And the vendors help to craft your name or messages into the rice or woods. Price varies from 20k-and above depending on bulk purchase. No recommended if you running out of times.
Cool place, came here with a friend. We spent about an hour roaming around and taking picture of course. That’s more then enough time. Restroom was slightly dirty. Also expect tons of tourist roaming around, so would recommended to come early to get that perfect picture.

Fun alpine coaster is located at the top and you enjoy the journey down to the bottom of the waterfalls. Lovely place to take pictures and good place to walk around for any nature lover.
Beautiful place, not too crowded if you go there at 11-ish. Real fun riding the mountain sleds and very nice scenery with different waterfalls. Not too expensive either. Absolutely worth a visit. About 100 000 local money for the taxi there. Entrance fee is 50 000, you buy tickets for the sleds inside.
This place was cool. I mean you get what you pay for and we didn't pay very much by Vietnamese Dong so I didn't have high expectations. The ride was fun but with people who are afraid and slow down ends up slowing you down so you don't crash into them. So a heads up for those who are speed freaks like me, try to delay your start as long as possible so that you are far behind others ahead of you! The bottom area was cheesy, with typical Vietnamese props, I mean I had to pose with T-Rex because it was cheesy but it was T-Rex!
The trip to the waterfall is very exciting one. There is a roller coaster ride 🎢 which takes you to the waterfall. You get down the ride and spend some time near the waterfall and again continue the ride back to the starting point.
Firstly the ride is quite an exciting and adventurous one. It's a completely downslope and has been crafted very interestingly for adventurous experience.
Secondly the waterfall , though is small, is quite a beautiful one. There are a few activities there like archery 🏹🎯
This is definitely a must visit experience if you're in Dalat.

Easy Access by road. There is ample parking. Also there are a bunch of shops for food and drinks. I went in April and the water level was low. Would have been better in rainy season.

The walk down to the falls is a little steep but doesn’t take too long. There’s tons of other activities available like zip lining, rope climbing, archery, roller coaster through the forest… so lots to keep the family entertained. The falls themself are beautiful and not too busy. You can get coffee or tea and relax near the falls.
What a beautiful waterfall! Definitely worth the stop for some gorgeous photo opportunities.
The cost is 50,000k to enter. You can walk down and up, but the heat ads to the physical excursion of the steep climb back up, so unless you are fit and healthy and have good footwear, maybe consider getting the toboggan back up to the top.
If you like a little adrenaline the toboggan is only 100,000k return trip and a bit of fun!
Maybe consider getting a taxi there from Dalat City and paying the entrance fee to save on costs. It is very close to the cable car, pine hill and Than Tuc Buddhist Monastery and we paid a driver 500,000k for the day to go to all and a nice place for lunch.
Really enjoyed going to these falls. We got one of the alpine rides down to the bottom, and it was SO fun, highly recommend.
Once you reach the falls, you can explore and wander around which is stunning. The falls are ferocious at the time we visited.

Our family of 5 visited the Datanla Waterfall on a sunny day and we were amazed by its beauty and adventure. The waterfall is located in a pine forest, about 5 km from the city center.
There are different ways to get there from the entrance to the waterfall and we chose the alpine coaster 1. We certainly didn't regret our decision as it was thrilling and exhilarating yet safe, with a great view of the falls and the surrounding nature.
One of the most impressive things about the waterfall was seeing it up close. I felt the mist on my face and the power of the water as it crashed down the rocks. The waterfall was so majestic and awe-inspiring, I could not take my eyes off it. I took some amazing photos and videos of the waterfall, which I will cherish forever.
The Datanla Waterfall is a must-see attraction for anyone who loves nature and adventure. It is a place where you can enjoy the scenery, the activities, and the atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone who visits Da Lat. It was one of the highlights of my trip and I would love to go back again.
The waterfall is OK to me but the most attractive thing is the roller coaster. You can walk from the top to the fall also.
Great and beautiful place in Dalat. If you're running out of ideas about what to do there. Datanla waterfall could be a good idea, they have a great coaster and for the price I would say it's worth every penny. You get 2 rides, the second is way shorter. But in between you get to see the beautiful Datanla waterfall and can take some beautiful pictures. When we went there the weather was good so we really enjoyed our time. The only negative stuff I could say is that if you have a very slow person in front of you while riding the coaster, your slide will brake automatically which is a bit frustrating but better for safety i guess.
Our family had a great time here. We spent half a day here before going to a restaurant by Tuyen Lam lake for lunch. The alpine coaster was great fun. We took the 1st one to waterfall no 1, then walk to the waterfall no 3 and take the roller coaster back. It was great fun for the whole family including 2 adults & a toddler, and one of the highlights of our trip to Da Lat.
This is a must do in Dalat. We thought the tours were expensive so hired a bike and went there ourselves. Really easy to find using Google maps. We did the air coaster thing which was awesome. The ticket for that and entry to the waterfall was 250k. I think it was worth it especially as the tours are soo much more than that.
We came here as this location is a popular tourist attraction. We paid for 2 tickets for the Alpine coaster round trip. There was a long queue at the entrance, took us 45 minutes to get our ride. 10- 15 minutes on the Alpine coaster which was great. However, the waterfall at the bottom was small, and I felt honestly disappointed. We decided to return quickly and again there was another long queue. Going back was much faster than going down. On our ride, there were some cameras to take nice shots of the tourists. Tourists can get their photo if they wish; once they have finished their ride and pay for their photo.

but waterfall looked really poor and overcrowded. even at 9am there are lots of tourists taking photo of this small waterfall

TWO waterfalls. Both are very beautiful. Took the Alpine coaster for $6 to see the first. There were quite a few people. On the second one, you can walk down and back ($1.30) and I was the only one. Don't miss going to both! About $1 grab bike too. No bikes were available on the way back but taxis were waiting and cost me about $4
GO CANYONING WITH VIET CHALLENGE TOURS!! Fantastic views are a given, but there's nothing quite like abseiling down a 25m waterfall!! That's only a part of the adventure - do not miss!! If not canyoning, get tickets on the door. As far as we understand, canyoning tours can only be booked in advance (the day before was fine).
These waterfalls were nice, but nothing insane. Buying tickets was really confusing for us at the beginning. Turns out there are two entrances. One for waterfall 1 and one for waterfall 2. You buy an entrance ticket at one of the entrances and then you go into the park. In the park you can purchase tickets for the alpine coaster or you can walk to the falls. We thought that the falls would be up so we decided to walk and we’re going to take the alpine coaster on the way back. However, to get to the falls you had to walk down and then the alpine coaster up was just a lift up to the hill and had no fun turns or excitement.
Stunning waterfalls, the coaster ride was better and faster than expected! On the last ride, we thought it was going to send us round another fun track, but it was just lifting us back to an exit. Worth a visit nonetheless.
Super fun activities at this place kids from 5 years up can enjoy it. The wait time was minimal when we went (First week of January). There is a 2 hours treetop parcour that seemed super fun but we didn't have time to complete

Gorgeous temple outside of the city centre. One of the most colourful temples I've ever seen, and definitely one of my favourites! A must visit when in Da Lat. Free entrance also!
It’s such a unique temple. For temple lovers it’s a must see, full of beauty and spirituality. It is very touristy so maybe the morning would be a better time to visit. The shrines are different to any I’ve seen before. It is a Hindu temple so is different from the standard Buddhist temples. Definitely worth visiting, free parking also. The temple was also free to enter! The temple also consists of a shop with some cool souvenirs, with an underground spooky walkthrough.
Fun experience, greatly built pagoda with lots of stuff to see.
To see the intricate sculptures outside and inside the temple. There are 2 large Guan Yin statues on the 2nd floor, make sure to go there. You can also climb the pagoda to higher level.
On both sides of the main temples, are shops selling statues and other stones, don't have to visit them.
This pagoda is by far the best we have seen on our travels. It is highly adorned with pieces of glass and pottery and an architectural marvel. Highly recommend the visit. Quite stunning.

Spectacular monastery, this place is big and it absolutely deserves a visit. You won’t be granted access if you don’t have long pants and at least a t-shirt. Like any other monastery there’s no entrance fee. At 3pm on a Wednesday it wasn’t overcrowded.
Everything is decorated using recycled materials. The best example is a huge dragon, to make its scales they used sections of green and brown glass bottles.
You can climb the stairs all the way up to the top of the pagoda.
There are very unique features like an underground dungeon with monsters and demons.
Extremely vivid and beautiful place, highly recommend to visit. You even don’t imagine how much you can see there. And remember that you should take off your shoes in some areas, so better to be in socks.
Cool temple made of glass and pottery pieces. It is a piece of art and there is also the biggest buddha statue made of immortal flowers. Road is easy to go in from main street with large parking lot for cars. Bike parking is free but you can donate some cash on the way out. A religious place but also a tourism destination that you should come when you are in Da Lat.
One of the most famous pagodas in Da Lat, the pagoda is uniquely designed with fine carvings of porcelains and giant structures keep many records of Vietnam as well the world. It waas built from debris of glass, pottery bowls and porcelain between 1949 and 1952. The temple stretches along the length of almost 49-metres and combines glass shards from 12,000 bottles!
Another unique thing that attracts tourists to come here is the Guan Yin statue made of 650 000 immortal flowers, the statue is 17m high and weighs about 3 tons is a record work. Asia confirms: "The largest flower Buddha statue in Asia."

Large temple with lots of tourists. It looks like this is one of the stops for group tours. I drove here from the center and it took about 20 minutes and there is a free parking at the temple. It is an unique temple, but there were so many tourists at the time of my visit, which was arund 4pm on a weekday.
Totally exceeded our expectations, it was amazing and beautiful. Don't miss the museum and the dungeon downstairs. They're not signed and it's easy to miss them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This religious compound is about 30 minutes from central Dalat by taxi. It demonstrates
absolutely stunning tile and glass mosaic work which is so delicate and intricate that it is a wonder to behold. There is no entry fee and best time to visit is around lunchtime when the tour busses leave. One of the Quanyin effigies is completely covered in flowers and stands approximately 25 feet tall. It is truly a site to behold in the direct sun. The bells, when rang, create an ethereal atmosphere, combined with the chanting music in the background. Don't miss the eerie basement maze of horrors depicting trials and tribulations of hell. It's quite scary and menacing down there. I would definitely recommend this site.
Linh Phuoc Pagoda is 8 km from Da Lat center, also known as Ve Chai Pagoda because in the temple yard there is a 49 m long Dragon made of 12,000 bottles. Pagoda is a unique mosaic architectural work built in 1949, has a 7-storey Tower over 37 m high, considered the tallest pagoda Bell tower in Vietnam, with a bell weighing 8,500 kg, the second heaviest bell of country, after the bell of Bai Dinh Pagoda in Ninh Binh. There is also a display house for precious stones, antique porcelain and fine wooden furniture.

This place is absolutely beautiful and magical. They have done a great job in keeping it well maintained. There’s a wide diversity of flowers and many pathways with decoration all around. I felt like I was in a fairytale. You can easily spend 2 hours in this place taking the time to absorb all its beauty. There’s benches all around for you to sit down and relax. It’s a good idea to bring a snack and just spend the entire afternoon there and then head to the night market for dinner and some more fun.

The part was built in 1966 during the war by local people and until 2003 the park was repair again and took many types of flower for tourists visiting.

It was not in bloom during my visit in April '23, but I have seen it before in full bloom. A lovely, well tended flower garden close to the center of town. Main road to lake and market on one side, many small restaurants on the other side. Any of these restaurants would be a nice spot for breakfast or lunch along the edge of the many rows of flowers.

Lovely place to see wife Verity of flowers growing up in beautiful setup and under artificial conditions. The flower farming is one of the major occupation of Da Lat. These farms look wonderful from sky above when flying from Da lat to HCM.

This place is packed with local tourists. Be careful when driving here.
Can visit the many well manicured gardens and temple halls. Did not go to the boating area as it is crowded.
Beautiful pagoda complex. You can reach it by cable car or by road. The scenery on the road is beautiful. The gardens surrounding the monastery are so beautiful and impressive, with so many varieties of flowers and very well maintained and clean. Huge potential for photos. From there it's a very nice walk to the pond and then you can also walk through the pine forest towards the lake which I totally recommend. The access is free and appropriate clothes are requested.
A holy place on Phoenix hill where you can see the panoramic view of Tuyen Lam lake and Elephant mountain in the far distance.
Located outside of Dalat, te meditation centre was designed with oriental architecture style, built in 1993-1994 by the superior Buddhist monk Thich Thanh Tu.
The Truc Lam zen tradition emphasizes the habit of applying Buddhist practice in whatever surroundings one finds oneself in.
Overall, a sense of peace and calm.

Take the cable car first and ride down the beautiful scenery and then walk the short way to the monastery!
An hour before closing is perfect if you don’t wanna be caught in the heat.

Such a very beautiful Zen Buddhism temple which surrounded by various kinds of beautiful flowers. It is better to visit the temple on a common day to prevent crowded people.
Visited this monastery via the cable car. Wonderful, peaceful temple. Lots of tourists. Beautifully looked after gardens with a stunning array of Bonsai trees. Take a walk down to the lake, about 5 mins. You can do a boat trip, but we didn't bother. We'll worth a visit. I'd fet here via the cable car as that's an experience in its self.
Worth a visit also for the flowers, unfortunately there's no direct path down to the lake atm, it was closed. If you go via the streets (watch out for the huge group tour buses if you walk) it takes about 15 minutes by foot.

The most striking aspect for me was the sense of peace and inner harmony that envelops you like a magical dome upon entering. The gardens are incredibly beautiful, well-maintained, and vibrant, while the buildings are clean and equally well-kept.
Despite being relatively young at just 30 years old, the monastery has already earned a reputation as a place of serenity. For those interested, there is an opportunity to stay and live as a monk, with a separate block exclusively for monks and not open to visitors. The monastery also boasts a spectacular view over a large expanse of a lake.
I highly recommend visiting Truc Lam Buddhist Monastery for a serene and soul-soothing experience.
Beautiful pagoda and amazing bonsai trees and flowers. The people living here are very nice when they notice you being respectful.
But too many rude people and overrun by tour groups.
A simple Zen temple with Tuyền Lâm Lake below it, the temple is well-maintained, clean and tidy. Walking around inside the temple can bring you calm.
There are many flowers blooming. We met an elderly man pruning potted plants in one of the flower gardens and asked him for planting tips. The elderly man was not shy to share his knowledge.
It is very peaceful place surrounded with a huge gardens and a pond. Good place to relax and enjoy the nature!

Yo this is the most beautiful palace I’ve ever seen in my life. Every time I step on the pathway through the garden, I always feel like I’m traveling back in time, to the King Queen and Prince Princess love story, sneaking in the garden, chasing around the hallway, and falling in love in the summer breeze. The palace gives me the sense of flying high and trusting more about the universe. I’m blessed by standing inside the last kingdom dynasty palace of Vietnam, with a lot of historical objects still remain uptil now, just like I’m the King myself relive all of the beautiful memories I had. Thank you the authority that gives this palace a chance to attract the tourists and people.
Interesting historical place, kept in good condition. I wish you would learn more about it. There are only a few boards scattered around the palace.

This place's got some nice history to it if you're interested in learning about how the last Emperor of Vietnam lived. The gardens offer a scenic walk. There's an electric vehicle charing station right outside.
The palace was built from 1933 to 1937 under the dynasty of King Bao Dai, the last king of Vietnam feudal court. The palace was designed in the art deco style and lies in the middle of a pine forest near the Pasteur Institute. In the past, this villa was constructed as a retreating place King Bao Dai and his royal family to escape the summer heat but after 1950, when the French colonial came back to Vietnam, the palace occupied a role as the office and house of the king.
The palace is well conserved, visitors are required to put on shoe cover in order to visit the palace.. each room is also clearly labelled.. however it would be good if there is a guided tour to share more story or information..
Only a small Palace, 26 rooms most of which were viewable, the last of the Monarchs of Vietnam Bao Dai, 1935. Very interesting to see all the rooms, majority with plates explaining in both Vietnamese & English.

I had enough time to go through all the rooms in the palace. I personally love the queen room more than the king room and impress with the nanny room. It’s nice to see the floor plan from the French architect. All the rooms have view to the nice garden. Generally, the palace is in the good condition except the kitchen, needs to take more care and avoid using the sink and leave the stuff there. The baskets for socks are overloaded with the big group of tourists, the person in charge should be aware and have proper supply/adjust. The main entrance were in the renovation during my visit, I hope it will finish soon for best experience. Worth a visit anyway.
It’s def worth catching a glimpse of history with this visit. The palace was kept in nice condition, alongside with history lessons you also can take many nice pictures here.

Along the three summer palace of Emperor Bao Dai, the last monarch of Vietnam, I like Summer Palace 3 the most. It’s less commercial and snobbish comparing to Palace 1 while unlike Palace 2, which lacks maintenance and is not opened, Palace 3 is well maintained and everywhere is well illustrated.
Entrance fee: VND40.000
Overall, an option to visit if you’re either too hot in the afternoon or its a rainy day as it is indoor but otherwise, if you’re pressed for time, I think can pass because this palace is very small and we didn’t like learn much history even from the boards, artefacts were also not grand and nice so didn’t even get any photos.
But if you’re interested, there’s a place at the end of the 1st floor which allows you to pay to wear some royal clothes for photo taking.
The place is historic as a rest house of the Last Emperor. The ticket is cheap, around 2$ for adults and half price for kids (free for baby). You get to look around the place and enjoy the view, there are some artifacts shown inside. You can request for detail and live presentation (which may take sometime since they do it for tours or enough people).
There are vending machines around for water and soft drinks. there is an ice cream stand.
Overall, I think it is worth visiting just to get to know something historic. the place is also very good for taking photos. I recommend this.

The beautiful lake in center of Da Lat City. The lake is large but water dirty & have smell. Around the Xuan Huong lake have nice landscapes & good check in. The weather is cool & fresh and good feel.

A lake that symbolise Đà Lạt! There are restaurants, a square, parks and many picturesque sceneries around this lake. My recommendation is to have a stroll (max 3 hours) or ride a bike around the lake in the early morning for exercise or at night while enjoying colourful trees, it should be a great experience! However, there are 2 things that I reduce my rating. Firstly, the Lake smell extremely bad! I am sure that you will see dead fishes and litter after walking around the lake for several metres. Secondly, is illegal fishing. Although there is rule that preventing people to fish but some still break it and start doing at place where securities can not see, especially at night. This is my opinion only but some actions should be made to prevent this such as building fences or install security cameras. Thank you and enjoy Đà Lạt~

The lake in middle of the city (No traffic light, no high rise building and no AC). So many activities around the lake (duck boat, bicycle..), flowers are everywhere.
A scenic walk around the Xuan Huong Lake. Took just over an hour for us to walk around it. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because the section of the route closed to a roundabout may be more air polluted.

Don't miss taking a leisurely walk around the lake when visiting Dalat. Highly recommend going in the early morning or late afternoon when the temperature is more pleasant. It goes without saying that the air is fresher during these times, and you'll also enjoy the tranquility of the lake when there is less traffic and the surrounding areas are at their most beautiful.

Great place for taking photos amd walking around. Open area. No smoking please. The plants and flowers are well kept. There are beautiful animals roaming free (they do have people watching over). Great place for a family day or a couple date. If you're a TTC guest. WiFi is everywhere. There are blindspots but some areas have strong connection. You must have enough energy and leg strength in order to fully enjoy the place. They do have shuttle service and a train. If you're in Dalat, you shouldn't miss this place.
Forget those one-star sour grapes; this place is a gem! Sure, tickets are a tad pricey at 250k, but trust me, it's worth every dong. And waiting for a buggy? Not really, you'll be cruising within 10 minutes, tops.
Let's set the record straight: no favoritism against Westerners; they just wait for a full buggy. Fair's fair!
Didn't splurge on extras, but still had a blast! With plenty to see and do included in the standard ticket. Soaking up the sun, admiring the garden art, or checking out the miniature world wonders, there's never a dull moment this place is beautiful.
We had a chillaxed day, perfect for bonding with your partner or simply unwinding. Oh, and if you want to kick off your day with a bang, we hit the Clay Tunnels first thing in the morning and then Valley of Love in the afternoon, it’s around 30 minutes to get to each on scooter. Would recommend!
The best time to visit the place is later in the afternoon. Plan a minimum of two hours for the park. We came there 1,5h before closing and it felt like we didn’t have enough time to explore it at full but we enjoyed that it wasn’t crowded at this time of the day. Valley consists of three big gardens, don’t spend too much time in the first part because the other two have much more to see. You can use the electric cars to get from one part of the park to another. Really impressive flower sculptures and gardens. Great place! Loved to see that the place is still evolving!
A sprawling estate that also provides trams for travel within the complex. A very lovely park that is worth visiting. I like the part of the estate that have various iconic features of the world cities such as the London Bridge, Eiffel Tower of Paris etc. The zipline is also quite challenging.

This place is nice but overpriced. Some of it is incomplete or run down whereas other parts are really pretty and well maintained. There are electric cars to hop on/off around the park but they drive like maniacs, we decided to walk after one ride. Probably a lot more enjoyable on a sunny day. The waxwork museum was enjoyable. The big bridge is impressive but not yet complete.
Went there on a cool December morning with my wife and spent more than two hours strolling through the gardens. Would recommend making this lovely park the first stop in your day's itinerary to start the day. Park is well manicured and designed, with many pretty, colourful flowers, interestingly sculpted bushes and tall trees. Children would love identifying animals in the form of sculpted bushes and going on a peddle boat ride on the lake, price included in the entrance fee. Such a welcome change to the hustle and bustle of city life. It was so peaceful and surreal to listen to the soft tones of wind chimes hanging from trees on a windy day. Overall the 250k entrance fee is well worth it.

I visit this park because i get 2 free tickets from my stay at TTC Ngoc Lan hotel. I would say the hotel stay with this park ticket is very affordable. Recommend others to check combo price at ttc hotel.
Too bad to be true. I grew up here, lived here for 40 years! A local with tour guide license. I've brought tourits here so many times, but they still denied to let me in for escorting their customer, since, "less than 5 people"! 250k/ cheapest ticket and have to queue up for a long time. Very chaos at the ticket booth. Seeming they're looking down on the tour guide. I will never recommend any travel agency or tourists coming here any longer. They demolished all natures and set up artificial things here. It's a rip-off completely!

You’ll never forget this place. It was practically deserted and there were so many opportunities for enraptured bemusement. As others have mentioned, it’s 250K per person, worth every penny. People may say it’s a tourist trap, but I say, it’s a national treasure.

It costed me 250,000 VND for only entrance.
The park is huge. You can take buggy for point to point.

1. We came and bought tickets at 16:00 and EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED. All caffe, souvenirs shops, restaurants and shops with snake were closed! We were hungry and at the staff at the restaurant said us to eat outside! We even could not buy bottle of water because everything was closed!!
2. There is nothing to see here. I totally agree that the Valley is a tourist trap. Landscape and the view is beautiful but don't come here if you have seen gardens and lake in your life 😂 it doesn't worth the money at all.
3. Glass bridge is great. It's the only thing we enjoyed in Valley. But still - it doesn't worth the money.
My advice - save your time and don't come here (especially after 16:00).

Nice place for taking a walk and enjoy the nature. They also have some games for kids such as gaming center, glass-floor bridge, wax sculptures.
To me the best is still the beautiful landscape and weather here. You can also have option to stay in their resident area.

This market is a must visit. Yummy food, fresh fruit, delicious warm and sweet soy milk, and a relaxed festive atmosphere. The only downside is that every seller has the same product as the guy next door which makes it a bit dull. Be that as it may, if you’re looking for good quality knitwear, key chains of every description, etc etc you’ll have a ball. It’s a safe environment and inexpensive.
There is plenty of nice food and produce on offer. You can get just about anything you like here, ranging from a jacket or pair of jeans, trinkets right through to food cooked while you wait. The egg pizza was something I really enjoyed.
Too crowded. Not easy to get park your car. You can buy many kinds of fruit and vegetable there.
A decent fresh market. Quite small, and it parts quite touristy. Worth a visit though, or maybe two, as it changes over the day.
The market in general is overpriced and full of low quality products , I only managed to find 1 store with great quality nuts , cashew nuts from this store ( Thuy Anh ) were 200k per kilo and macadamia nuts 250k per kilo where as most store charge more , best of luck
The market is fairly small with all the shops selling the exact same thing for Da Lat people to buy daily necessities.
Great way to spend a couple of hours eating and shopping your way thru the market stalls. Really lively on this Friday evening. Markets starts around 5:30pm-11:30pm. The cheaper clothing is in the alley near Cline Hotel. The Cho Dalat Center inside market also have lots and lots of food souvenirs from Dalat. Samples and taste testing of tea is served to entice you to buy from most stalls. Clothing, shoes, toys, socks and knock off items are reasonably priced. You can try to negotiate with them for a lower price or walk away.
Great place to hang out at night. Lots of variety of food vendors, clothes, and souvenirs vendors. Don’t be afraid to bargain as local vendor will price however they want! (If you’re a foreigner, they will up the price 3,4 times so be careful)
Big selection of food and drinks. Not sure how clean and safe these places are but definitely worth the experience!
Also beware of pick pocketing! Beware of your personal valuables. Maybe just bring enough money to spend!

The Dalat market is a large multi-story complex centrally located, just West of the lake. This is a great place to simply witness local culture with all your senses.
Downstairs in the building nearest the roundabout is full of local specialty treats that make great souvenirs - tea, dried fruits, jam, honey, etc.
You’ll also find areas for local produce, home goods, fish and meat, lots of clothing, street food stalls, etc. Don’t expect too much in the way of expert crafts, vendors are mostly reselling wholesale products.
There is a night market that sets up outside and along the main road to the roundabout, however, it seems mostly for tourists and doesn't have much new or interesting to offer in the way of products.

Honestly.. you can skip this place when visiting dalat. It’s too crowded and messy. The street vendors will go out of their way and touch you to bring you to their stores. However, all the items and food sold throughout the market is basically the same things. The grab pick-up point is also kind of tricky considering that it’s so crowded.
Great place, buzzing with energy. Lots of fresh seafood for sale where they cook it for you on the spot. Our dinner spot was My Le, I would recommend them for both great service and fresh affordable seafood. The rest of market is an explosion of both fresh produce as well as dried varieties in abundance. Then there are the endless stalls of clothes for sale. It was definitely a fun evening. We will definitely come back.

Dal Lat Night Market is a lively and colorful place to visit in the evening. There are many stalls selling clothes, souvenirs, and local delicacies.
I especially liked the bánh tráng nướng, which is a thin rice paper topped with cheese, egg, and meat. Add warm soy milk to your meal and the entire meal is a joy in the Aircon-like temperature atmosphere.
The market is also a great place to see the fashion trends of Dalat, as many visitors wear stylish winter clothing and cute headbands covering their ears, adding to the lovely vibe of the place.

There are animated characters. Lots of street food. Many clothing items to buy.
There is just one street. You can easily walk through in less than an hour.

Do not go here. Ownership has changed and the animals are gone and so is the cable car but they still want 220,000 dong per adult just to see the waterfall!
Entrance fee is high, and not worth it just to see the waterfall (which has been ruined by tacky statues). If you're interested in going to the little water park they have there, maybe it's worth it? But overall I was unimpressed.
Zero stars if possible. No cable car, animals, rides or anything. They changed owners and all that is there is the waterfall for the same price as before with everything included. Exorbitant price of 220,000dong for an adult for a walk below a very sad waterfall.
Absolutely atrocious prices 440,000 for entrance ticket to their park and the waterfall. Don't bother.
Arrived at 11am and there were only two cars and no motorbikes parked up... Guess everyone hates it too! Haha

I should read the other people’s comments before I have visited. Exactly the same comment and opinion. Nothing but still charging entrance fee. Should not visit or at least check before visiting whether they resumed the animal rides and other attractions.
It used to be really fun. Now it has been bought out and changed into an overpriced theme park with like 3 rides and about 100 tea shops.

A amous Central Catholic location. The church has many historical stories and spans many generations of Da Lat people. This is an iconic tourist destination that must be visited.
Easy to find location, located on a high slope, clean path, convenient to move
The cathedral is gorgeous surrounded by pines and classic colonial buildings. The construction was finished in the 1940's by French colonists. This place worth a short visit or sightseeing. The only downfall is that you must notice the open and closing time of the cathedral due to services.
I remember back in 2014 when I was 12 years old boy - the first time ever I came to Dalat and went to this church in an early Sunday morning with my Mom. Although I don’t go inside the church but I love the feeling of coming back to an old place after years. It is still beautiful as I thought from the outside and I spend some minutes praying about my life at this place. Thanks God everytime I come to a church, I’m honest with myself a lot…

The current Da Lat Cathedral was officially started on Sunday, July 19, 1931, laid the first stone by Bishop Colomba Dreyer, built according to the plan of priest Celeste Nicolas, the priest at that time.
Beautiful Church. Well kept . We were not allowed in but somehow we seeked in thanks to some young girls decorating the church.
We came for Sunday Easter mass. Mass in Vietnamese and also has screens to join in songs etc. Beautiful interior with the high ceiling and stained glass windows. Worthwhile seeing.
This is the first time I visited Dalat church. This place is very beautiful and large, with free parking for everyone. The manager here is very friendly and helpful to tourists, he introduced and lectured about this place to us. The dogs here are very lovely and hospitable.
Looks wonderful and very well maintained by the authorities. Situated very near to city centre and can be viewed and visited by walk from market place easily. Construction was done more than 50 years back and has withstood the condition well.
Despite its the diocese cathedral, it’s not the most beautiful church in Dalat in my opinion. It’s also not very big. Still it’s worth to visit.

Attended 6:00 mass on the Feast of Ascension. Came 10 minutes early, the place filled up to standing room only. Powerful singing, beautiful Mass. Visit the gift shop behind the cathedral for a souvenir. After Mass we saw an angel crossing a busy street, looking neither right nor left, trusting only in God. When we looked again, she had disappeared we knew not where.

Golden Buddha Pagoda or Van Hanh Zen Monastery (Thiền Viện Vạn Hạnh) was built in 1952. Most famous thing of the monastery is the golden statue of the Buddha's Flower Sermon (Phật Thích Ca niêm hoa vi tiếu) was built on 2002; It's the biggest Buddha in Dalat, and why it was called Golden Buddha pagoda. Beautiful temple and you can get here by car or motorbike, there's a tons of the parking lots and no entrance fee but it's always recommended to make a donation boxes. Cozy temple, Gorgeous space, Garden and a good place for some meditation andor reflection.
They’re fixing and upgrading the statue, so I can’t really explore the place, even though it’s a nice place to see and check-in.

This is a very special place and well worth the walk from the city centre. It is far more majestic in real life than the camera can capture. There are 3 large golden Buddhas, beautiful gardens and rich temples. It's a peaceful spot and also has some lovely views out over the city. It's a nice walk to the temple, with lots of good bubble milk tea shops along the route!
A well maintained temple. There are some ongoing constructions on the side of the temple. The Buddha status is large and beautiful.
There are 2 entrances to this temple, one from the main road is steep and lots of potholes. Use the side road which is gentler and well-paved. Beware of tour buses if driving.
I visited it many times but the most prominent was the day when I went there to try out a collective meditation. Whether you are a buddhist or not — you should take a try. It was one of the friendliest and heartwarming meditation sessions in my life — and all in those amazing surroundings! Truly blessed to experience it 🙏🪷
