Nice hiking route. Lots of stairs. There is free trail and paid trail. Paid trail goes all the way to the peak. Steady staircase and railings throughout the hike. The up and down routes are separated so no issue with traffic while hiking. Multiplr rest stops along the way. Clear signages for visitors. Nice scenic views throughout.

Seongsan Ilchulbong is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can hike up to its crown-like summit for breathtaking views of the island's stunning landscapes. If time permits. We were in a tour group which did not accord us the luxury of time to hike all the way up. Nevertheless, even if you walk up the hill partway for around 15 minutes, you can still take beautiful pictures on the way up, and also on your walk down the shorter trail on the right side with scenic sea views. But if you have time and are able to, imagine that the view from uptop will be even more spectacular and paranomic.

The walking trail is not too long, 20 mins up and 20 mins down. A lot of steps and stairs on the way up, not for kids. The walk down is smooth and easier. The view is beautiful. You get to see sea and mountain.

It is best to visit during the May period as the weather condition is comfortable and nice. We visited this place during May 22 and we enjoyed the hike up as well as the view.

The hike was quite comfortable - well-organized trails, although we liked the side view from the free trail much much more than the one from the top. I’d also won’t recommend hiking up to those with knee issues as there are a lot of steps which get steeper the higher you go.

The most popular place in Jeju. Literally translates to Sunrise Peak. The view from the top is mind blowing. Its just a 20 minute hike to the top. And well laid out paths to avoid people clashing into each other. What I liked about it is there is an uphill entry path and a separate downhill exit path. Drones aren't allowed, sadly.

Finally I can completed the journey, remember must buy ticket to go up scenery very beautiful and the higher level look down to whole scenery. even very tired but determine to go up NO Regret . important noted to all this google map show mondy close, actually I go on monday still open. we also won't believe since when mountain will have rest day, lucky we determine to go ,if not we will miss out so beautiful place.

Missed the sunrise so we just went for the free route, beautiful enough. Weather was great that day and the view was absolutely beautiful! Can't imagine how the peak would look

30 Mins walk to top of mountain about 1000 stairs. Nice weather. Fantastic view. Mini store to buy water on the way up. Oneway walk. Up = stone stairs with not many view Down = wooden stairs= easier to walk and nicer view. Ticket required. Can buy before entrance. Many store at parking lot. Toilet near ticket store and another one at parking lot.

Another famous tourist attraction in Jeju (UNESCO). In my opinion, skip the paid route. Take the free trail instead that brings you to the bottom of the crater with a seafood restaurant. It's a better view for the entire site including geological observations. Definitely worth a visit despite a long drive from the airport.

Beautiful crater-style peak with easy access and a good climb to the top. The view is excellent. While it is a beautiful climb, the beauty of the peak is probably best viewed with a drone. Drones are not allowed, which I am totally fine with 😊

A popular hiking spot when visiting Jeju and rightfully so! At the base of the hike there are some vendors and shops selling refreshing Hallabong juice, ice cream and souvenirs. We got the juice and have deemed it a must to enjoy during at at the top of the hike! The views were stunning and there is a nice and large resting spot. Not too intense of a hike, but definitely recommend wearing comfortable clothes. I appreciate them having lockers at the base of the hike, but it's a bit tucked away/hidden. Pretty big and spacious too.

This is a very famous place to visit for all including local and tourist. If you planning to come and visit here please come earlier and plan your time, to avoid crowded with others untill no space for you to take a good and beautiful photo. If excluding the excessive crow, this will be a nice place for relaxing and clean you busy mind because here have some beautiful view... It should control the crow to avoid messing the place.

Quite an uphill climb. Obviously very popular amongst the locals and China tourists. Scenic and picturesque. Crater can really be appreciated as you can only view part of it. You can see U do island. And go to Udo island thereafter. Do start early as the last ferry back from Udo is 5pm.

It was a winter rainy day when we came. We braved the wet and cold and took us slightly less than an hour to get up and down at leisure pace. Although steep at some points, the well built steps help. View is lovely at summit, so great motivation to get up there. Along the way up there are a few big interesting rocks for some photo moments. There are many cafes and eateries at the base so that’s motivation to get up and come back down. I had a cup of hot chocolate at Paik coffee when I get back to the base of the mountain.

Nice place to wark around... prepare your feet.. you need hard work to steps the stairss.. but if you come to top of the mountain.. there really nice view..

The view on both sides of the submit was amazing, with the crater on one side and the sea+city on the other. The climb was of a moderate difficulty (having elderly koreans march past you with ease was a great motivator), but not too hard, and worth the effort.

A good place to watch the sunrise. It takes about 40 minutes to walk up to the bottom of the mountain. It's better to prepare for an hour and take a break. Today is sunrise at 7:28, but there are clouds and the sun is not seen until about 7:40.

Great quick hike up on top! (490 steps, I counted haha) The trail is very well maintained! Beautiful crater covered in so much vegetation, it looks absolutely stunning. The view is great! You have to check it out! Best part though was watching the free diver presentation right next to this amazing mountain. (Go left instead of right by the entrance) The show is at 2 pm every day. Amazing what those female divers endured during some tough times and are still kicking butt! They are an inspiration! They caught an octopus with their bare hands during the presentation I watched. Beautiful place to walk around. Do visit the tea shop and buy something if you enjoy drinking tea. The popular skin care company Innisfree has a retail store and cafe here too. Many people will try their hand at making soap in the retail store, pretty decent variety of skin care products but it's catered mainly for ladies. The staffs at the store is knowledgeable and helpful. Prices at the cafe is slightly higher but the atmosphere here is very nice and you get to enjoy a beautiful view of the tea plantation outside the cafe due to its elevated height and full drop down glass panel of the building. It's a great place to have a coffee and some pastries for an hour or so. Another thing which many might think it is strange to add it here, the public toilet located behind the store and cafe is very clean and it smells wonderful 😊. They used the same diffuser that they are selling in the retail store! Absolutely no funny or unpleasant smell coming from this public toilet👍👍👍

A pretty place to visit. Even it's summer, the wind is so strong to make you shivered. The tea garden is so big and nice. Good place for you to relax. However it is quite far from city point. Need to change bus in between if you do not have car, need to take public transport.

Nice caffee.. they sell so many things for gift.. all about tea.. cake, snack, drinks and many.. they close at 18.00.. the price a bit pricy.. 16.200 won for tea bags.. they will kick you out if you there when they close.. so better come before that..

Free admission so super busy. Not much to see in the museum but worth to try something like icecream or drinks while you’re there. I saw there’s another building back there for tea class or something. I’d like to book it in advance if I come back here again. It would be amazing experience. Great to see Innisfree (Korean cosmetic brand) shop there as well. Decent price and I’ve been using their products 10+ years so highly recommend it. There are some limited products you can only buy in there.

Unfortunately, there was no guided tour available when I visited, so I just went around by myself. The museum wasn't much without a guide. It was more about the cafe and gift shop for me -- and they were good. I got a very tasty green tea latte while admiring their gardens. I also got to shop for a few tea sets for me and my family. Having tried the tea myself now back home, they're very high quality. I highly recommend coming here if you're a tourist, the tea is very good souvenir. The public transportation going there was also convenient coming from Seogwipo. The bus station is right outside the museum.

Beautiful place to come and chill after a long drive from airport (1h+). Had the tea and ice cream cake. These are probably marked up for tourists prices...I bought a few tea bags and biscuits and it very quickly added up to almost 100,000 krw. 🙈 hence the four stars for being ridiculously overpriced Staff speak English 👍

I really enjoyed visiting this museum. I am an avid tea drinker and this was the first time I had ever been to a tea field. The gift shop was great - I bought a lot of teas. The café on site was also wonderful - the food and drinks were delicious! The museum is free to get in, which was very nice. This is a relaxing spot to spend a couple of hours.

The tea was praised for its excellence. I ordered a cup of macha, a crepe, and a roll—all delightful, though the crepe was a tad dry. Discovering that dining outside offered a quieter atmosphere, I strolled over to the tea plantation, enjoying the picturesque view.

Even on a weekday, the place is pretty packed with tourists and koreans. If you are a tea lover this is def a must-visit. Lots of tea infused snacks and tea for sale, they also have a cafe which we tried, Green Tea and Hallabong Ice Cream with Baumkuchen. No place to sit so we ate outside. It was very cold and windy so be careful or you might fly away 😄

TL:DR if you haven't been to another tea farm/museum in Korea make a trip out. Plan to spend less than 1 hour, unless you are going to eat here. The museum as I saw it was extremely small. You can make your way through it quite quickly. Really there was only a history wall and observatory. The garden outside is very nice, and you are able to walk and take photos in the tea fields. I shopped for souvenirs and food while I was here, and that took a majority of my time. The tea is really high quality and the price reflects it. Also it was neat to see them roasting the tea leaves, similar to coffee. The workers there are excited to tell you about what they do, just be prepared for Korean only explanations. Overall all this was a secondary place for me to visit and only did so because so many other places were closed for renovations or COVID-19 restrictions. Being that it is free, it's worth it, but I wish that I was able to see one of the closed places with my time on Jeju. Just going to have to come back.

Really nice experience to get a closer look of the process and types of tea. I took the guided tea tour through the plantations with a tasting session of varios teas and deserts. At the end of the tour, I made my own tea by choosing different leaves based on their flavors and properties. The caffee and shopping area are also nice. Plenty opportunities for good pictures. Highly recommended!

The desserts are recommended - you can get a set with orange cake, peanut ice cream / milkshake, and matcha soft serve. There is a field across the road near the parking area that is a great little photo spot too. You can spend an hour or two there at the most.

This place is more like a Cafe with small section of store and displays. The food is a bit expensive, and some very delicious, so it's recommended. They have some demonstration or courses about tea. And there is Inisfree shop that sells cosmetics related to tea. There is a large parking spaces, and it is easier to go by car than by any other means of transport. Not easy to find taxi, better have Kakao Taxi app to hail a cab, otherwise you may be stranded. There is also a garden or farm area where you can take pictures.

A nice tea museum which is located in a rustic area. Many nice tea options at the tea house. One of the main attractions for us is to visit Innisfree within the compound. There are also many schools have their students tours there too.

Beautiful park and tea shop - our family had the green tea icecream - it was rich and you could really taste the green tea within. We had a lovely walk around the grounds - its very picturesque. Come early however as parking girls up fast!

With the hype surrounding this tea museum, it’s definitely not one to be missed despite the crowd that’s often flooding the space. 🅿️ they do have 2 parking spaces around the museum, with ushers to help guide drivers to a specific area with empty lots The merchandise area was crazy crowded on a weekday around 3-4pm, with multiple tour buses parked on the opposite side of the museum and visitors both local and foreign shopping in the museum. There really wasn’t much that caught our eye though, nothing really stood out in flavour for the drinks to make us want to buy them. 🍰 the pastries however were good, the tart was okay, I didn’t love the ice cream though it’s decent. Loved the cake roll though, thought it’s a good balance between the green tea flavour and the creaminess. The drink too was okay, we had something similar at a cafe earlier so it wasn’t exactly special or unique. The green tea field was a little underwhelming, with what seemed like tall green bushes if one didn’t know it’s a green tea field - especially because it didn’t smell like anything too. All in all, it’s definitely worth a visit for the overall hype - the only place in Jeju that we saw such a crowd during our 3 days visit.

This is a beautiful conservatory of sorts and has an amazing selection of teas you can buy as souvenirs! The cafe was also really nice and you get to try their tea selection before you decide to buy the tea bags themselves. We went up to the second floor and you get a beautiful view of the mountains and the tea. There’s not much of a museum aspect to it but its a very nice place to go visit regardless!

Thoughtfully designed building and space! It’s not so much a museum but a place to buy tea and enjoy the view of the tea plantations at the cafe. Innisfree is next to the Osulloc museum and they also have a cafe with a gorgeous view there. You only need about 15-20 minutes to walk around the museum

Everything from tea to cosmetics..it's all about products made with tea. Tea museum, Innisfree cosmetics, cafe all conveniently located in the same complex with beautiful landscape..lucky for us the cherry blossom was in season.

We ordered set C with an additional hot latte and were surprised by the flavour and quality of the matcha. •The layered cake was light and fluffy and not too sweet; •The matcha, strawberry cake actually matched really well and it tasted like it was made with fresh ingredients. It also held its shape perfectly when taking off the plastic before eating; •The soft serve is what you can expect from a softserve. Different grades matcha gelato would have been my preference, yet this is more efficient for the company in terms of speed in service; •The tea was delicious and I loved how it came with instructions and a little sand clock to time the steepness; •The Matcha frappe was or regular quality; •The latte was of great quality and I asked it to not be too sweet and they served it perfectly. You could taste the matcha so nicely and the tiniest bit of sweetness added to it. It was however more a matcha cappuccino in terms of 1/3 foam, 2/3 latte instead of an actual latte. The restaurant/cafe has two options to order from and those are: the physical counter or the electronic machines to the left. The shopping area was extremely busy but worked efficiently and fast to help the people. There are plenty of different teas you can buy and in what quantity you want to buy it. They also notify you if you go over a certain amount that you can get a tax refund at the airport, which is very kind of them. They might do good adding someone who cleans the tables since some people leave it quite dirty after using. The toilet lady however worked like an animal to keeo the toilets in good condition. We had a good experience here and if you love tea and matcha, would definitely recommend coming here if you are going to Jeju.

I find it quite funny. It's called a tea museum, and I thought it would display all knowledge related to tea, but it turned out to be just a place to buy souvenirs. There's a tea garden and a coffee shop nearby where you can take a break. It's very crowded, and I've heard the tea sauce is a must-buy, and the toast with spread is delicious. The parking lot is very large with plenty of parking spaces, so you don't need to worry about finding a spot.

Best tea I have ever had. And the face care, so much to choose from. Cafe has amazing food and the fields are mesmerizing. Highly recommend.

We visited this place as it was just 5 mins drive away from our hotel and we had spare time. The entrance fee is steep for a place this small. The outdoor garden had nothing except one big sculpture of a bear, that was looking worn. This is a place to visit only if you have extra time to kill like we did, or to hide out from the rain/hot sun. Adults will likely find it boring, but kids may be interested. The gift shop had many good photo opportunities, such as Steve Jobs Bear and Audrey Hepburn Bear.

I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into with this place but I was so pleasantly surprised by how well thought, curated and presented everything was here. It doesn’t matter if you’re into teddy bears or not, if you enjoy whimsy or creativity, this place is for you. You can even get a teddy bear made to your liking!

I didn’t expect it to be so good. It was a beautiful experience. The way they showed teddies in various historical and contemporary settings, that’s just lovely. I would recommend it as must a visit as Alive museum. You can get some awesome souvenirs from the shop as well.

Super fun place for kids and teddy bear lovers. Really amazing to see one teddy bear in guinnes record for the highest auction. And other 125karat teddy bear is very expensive with golden nose, ears, neck coin and saphire diamond eyes looks awesome.

Took a good 30 minutes to go around the museum and the teddy bear shop. I enjoyed looking at the bears dressed up reading information (English ones as many were in Korean). Paid 12,000 won upon entrance as there were no queue and less busy. It was 10:40am when I went there.

Well I thought the museum sounded stupid but it was actually really cute. There were so many creative scenes set up with stuffed animals and each floor, there's rock band bear, circus bear, chef bear, proposal bear, and many more that involve famous work of art or historic events re-done with teddy bears. Finally, there's also an overpriced souvenir shop.

Very family friendly attraction showcasing the history of teddy bears and the reenactment of out history, artworks, and regions around the world with teddy bears. The fun part is where you can buy the different varieties of teddy bears or even customise their appearance by building your own bear. A must place to go for stuffed toy lovers!

My experience here sk far sk good.. I'm too exited to see the Princes Hours Teddy bear. But the teddy bears slightly, not much as i expected. But its ok, there many think that you can see! There are World famous hostories, World famous Art and also the most expenive Teddy Bear . Of you like teddy bear, here you can costumize your own teddy bear.. Amazing! But the ticket its to expensive just for see, event that is all art.. Its will be more fun if we can playing something..

I visited TBM to walk a memory lane, reminiscing our family visit in the early 2000s. This time, good photo spots next to big TBs were taken by some campaigners, asking for donations by promoting a free bracelet with a name tag. Displays were generally underwhelming, except a couple of new items.

It’s not worth visiting. The entrance fee is expensive for a tiny room about teddy bear history. The art history section was okay but a bit odd. It would probably be okay with kids but not for the price. The bears were creepy and it was definitely a tourist trap. The entrance fee doesn’t include a bear and their pricing for a souvenir or custom made bear are absurdly high.

Such a cute history of the bears. You can purchase a pre-made bear or can customize one for yourself or that someone special in your life.

Many interesting dioramas of teddy bears. You can even get one custom made. If you ain't into teddy bears, it could be quite boring. Highlight is the giant gundam-like teddy bear out in the garden.

Visited here as I am a fan of teddy bear from the K-drama Princess Hours. I thought the museum did a great job telling the history of teddy bear making with some great vintage collections. They also have made a great effort in choosing a few events that are depicted by the bears to make it more attractive. Some parts of the museum are aging and can use a refresh. Overall I still think this is a fun place to visit for those looking for a dose of cuteness

It is worth visiting if you go by this area, but not worth coming a long way for this scenery. The viewing point of the waterfall is very crowded so it is not a relaxing experience at all. Entrance fee is KRW 2,000 per adult.

A beautiful medium size waterfall on Jeju Island is surrounded by a beautiful landscape! Cheonjiyeon Waterfall is one of the main tourist attractions in Jeju. The 22 meters waterfall is believed to heal the people who bathed here but visitors are no longer allowed to swim there. The water is very clear and it looks turquoise with certain parts of the water reflected with rainbow colors when the sun shines on it! The entire surrounding is simply beautiful with proper walkways and it was very relaxing to take a stroll.

There’s a lovely walk towards the waterfall that’s surrounded by trees and next to the river. There are also some touristy shops outside. The waterfall itself was okay, not particularly impressive, but a nice sight nevertheless. It costs 2000 won to go in per pax. There’s also an electric vehicle charging station in the parking lot

It was quite some walking to get to the waterfall but there afe food,drink and a fee souvinier stores inside. It costs 1000-2000 won per person and there was ducks and a pelican and the water fall is nice and cooling. Just know that it is quite crowded so if u are looking to take a photo u will have to wait for the others to finish taking their photo

It costs 2000 won to enter. Follow the footpath, which will eventually lead you to the waterfall in 5 minutes. It's not exactly very grand. Once you've seen it and taken photos, there pretty much isn't much to do. You can walk around and enjoy the serenity of the park.

The waterfalls are nice but nothing crazy and nothing impressive. There are so many other nuggets on Jeju Island that I don't think these ones are worth the time. The walk to reach them is very short, we can see some stone statues, famous on the island.

There is a nominal entrance fee and a 500 m walk for this waterfall. In my humble opinion, the waterfall is surely a little hyped. I might sound a little spoiled because I had visited Iceland just months before visiting Jeju. Doesn't look bad by any means. That being said, the surrounding areas are full of trees and quiet, extending the sound of the fall of water. Its alright overall

Rather crowded in the morning and afternoon with a ton of tourists there’s a nice spot across the second bridge called the dead end road there’s a nice place there to take a picture as well there’s ducks there to feed also you can trick them by closing your hand they will come close to you 😂

Honestly a bit underwhelming for a UNESCO site and apparently one of the 7 new wonders of the world. It's a nice park for a short walk but nothing spectacular otherwise.

Nature lovers must visit this place. Koreans shows how to take good care of Mother Earth.

There is a ticket booth to purchase ticket just to see the waterfall. It is next to the public carpark. If you dont intend to see, you can venture the outskirt and buy some souvenirs. Once purchase ticket, you will hit another booth to scan the ticket. It will take around 10 to 15mins walk to the fall. Do take note in October, there is still mosquitoes, got bitten by a few of them. You will see the waterfall and normally quite crowded as there are tourists and other locals taking photographs. Make your way back on the other side and cross the small bridge.

The park is quiet at several areas, although the area near the waterfall could be quite crowded. No safety railings around the waterfall so children should be supervised carefully. Beautiful area, with plenty of shade during your walk to the waterfall.

This is supposed to look amazing at night with lights on, guess we were there a tad too early to see that for ourselves. In daylight, there's nothing too wow about the waterfall. I'm amazed though, at how open the area is. While there are signs saying that swimming is not allowed, it's so open you can literally jump into the water easily (without injuring or killing yourself, not sure how serious they police it though). There are some interesting features here too, such as The Bridge of Prayer and 3 Fortune Statues and the Golden Magic Pearl.

Small waterfall. Pleasant walk in the park but not worth driving from far to come here.

A stunning waterfall from 75ft at a mesmerizing location on Jeju Island! Jeongbang Waterfall is a must-visit and the surroundings are just beautiful with blue ocean, green forest, bright blue sky, and greyish stones. The waterfall is just a short walk from the parking area and there were many shops along the way selling refreshing drinks including coconut water. Lovely photographs can be taken here and the place is not crowded. However, swimming is not recommended in this particular spot.

This just closed when we got there the day before, so we revisited this morning. Another waterfall, but unique in that it falls on rocks instead of another pool of water. Also, another one where you can get up close and while signs forbid you to swim, there are no physical barriers stopping you. Perhaps the slippery and rough edges of the rocks are enough deterrence. A treacherous path on uneven rocks of varying sizes and smooth surfaces, to get upclose to the waterfall.

It's a unique waterfall that empties into the sea. The place is well maintained and has many signs. There are vantage points along the path.

Can be extremely crowded to get good pictures. Awesome photo spot. 1 hour is sufficient to visit. Need good shoes on slippery rocks. Children & elderly not advisable.. imo, can be dangerous. Also, there’s snakes when they are not hibernating so do your homework before visiting.

Jeju Island has some spectacular sites to see and the Jeongbang Waterfall is most definitely one of the prettiest of them. There are a few waterfalls on Jeju Island, but this was my favorite of them all and it’s actually quite accessible. If you’re headed to Jeju Island, this is definitely a spot I’d check out. There are three popular waterfalls on Jeju Island but this one is one of those Instagrammable spots where you can get right up and personal and walk away with one of those islandy photos to prove it. Jeongbang Waterfall is the only waterfall in Asia that falls directly into the ocean.swimming is not recommended in the area but you can wade into the water or splash around a bit if you want. The stairs that lead down to the waterfall can be slick when wet so wear good rubber soled shoes for safety and watch your step.

This was just near to our hotel at walkable distance.it opens 9am and we reach 9am to avoid crowd. Entry won 2000 pp. sunny bright day and waterfall flow was quite good.few fisherman were there near the edge of ocean..this is one of waterfall which directly falls in ocean.you can go as near to fall walking on rocks.😀

Very nice waterfall. Be adventurous and climb the rocks to go nearer. But be careful. Wear proper grippy shoes. Get nice fresh cold air and beautiful view of the cold sea.

A pretty nice waterfall, but it is pretty crowded around the base. It's one of only a few waterfalls around the world that falls directly into the sea, so it's neat to see it. Photo opportunities are slim due to the large number of visitors.

Pretty cool waterfall when we visited in February 2023. The climb down was pretty easy. You can sit on the rocks and enjoy the view. If you are wanting a snack, there are local ladies there who sell food on the rocks in a makeshift picnic.

There are two sides for you to explore in this place. Lots of car park space. One side is to the jeongbang waterfall where you have to pay for entrance to take the stairs down all the way to the waterfall. I didn't pay for it since I am not interested in taking waterfall photo. You can go pass the ticket booth at the podium and take photo from far just like me if you don't wish to climb the stairs. On the other side is a long board walk to another waterfall which could take you more than 30 minutes. I didn't go this route. At another far end, you'll see a museum, art garden which you can take a stroll and enjoy the sea view

This waterfall is usually so crowded and impossible to get a pic of without anyone in it. However, when I got there this time, it wasn’t as crowded as it was raining the entire morning and the waterflow made a nice s-curve in the foreground. Just had to wait for a little for the clouds to cover the Sun and wipe off the spray from the waterfall

Lovely waterfall with an easy walk down from the car park. Easy and free parking, toilets and shops to buy refreshments. The waterfall itself is surrounded by rocks and can be a little slippy if you try to visit during or after rain. You cannot swim in the sea here but you can get up close for some good photos.

Jeongbang Falls is one of the Jejudo Island’s top 3 falls, along with Cheonjiyeon Falls and Cheonjeyeon Falls. It is the only fall in Korea where water falls directly into the sea. The fall is 23m high and the two streams of waterfall that fall down the black cliff create a thrilling sound and a wonderful view. Moreover, the steep cliffs and old pine trees around the fall create a picturesque view, and this view was chosen as one of Ten Scenic Sights of Yeongju with the name of “Jeongbanghapok.” It is said that the words ‘Seobulgwacha’ are engraved on the cliffs of Jeongbang Falls. According to legends, a man named Seobul came to the island in search of an elixir plant on the orders of China’s Qin Shu Huangdi a long time ago. Unable to find the elixir plant, he headed west to return to China, and became captivated by the site of Jeongbang Falls, leading to him writing “Seobulgwacha’ on the cliff. However, these words have yet to be found in real life. It takes approximately 5 minutes to go down the stairs leading from the parking lot to the fall.

Happen to be here when it was a clear blue sky. A nice treat to the eyes. Weather is hot in this early September but staying close to the waterfall is a good decision.

What a lovely waterfall. The water is super cold but very very pretty looking waterfall. You will be mesmerized by the water dripping to your face all. Many people visit this place hence you will not get a good picture of yourself all alone 😅😅 or rather hard to get by. Quite a walk but it was worth it.

This is a must see location in Seogwipo! The waterfall is walkable from the Seobok Exhibition Hall. The waterfall is excellent to see from both the top where the stream flows above, and as it falls from the clifftop when you reach the bottom. There is a Korean War Memorial (Seobok Park) and garden to view near the stream, that is worth the couple of minutes to walk around. If you aren't physically fit, I'd note that there is a viewing platform at the top where the ticket booth is, but the view is more of a glimpse due to overgrown trees. It's a lot of steep stairs to reach the bottom of the cliff to access the ocean viewpoints. There is no beach at the bottom of the cliff and you need to scramble over big beach boulders and rocky ground to be able to get the best vantage point. It's a very busy destination, with many couples lining up to get the best photos. If you're there for photos, be patient about waiting for everyone to get their shots. We helped other families and couples take photos together. And others returned the favour for us. This also helped people get their photos done faster for those waiting. So it was very nice to give and receive the help. This is NOT a swimming destination. We visited in September and it was very hot and humid. Bring cold water/refreshments with you, as you'll need them for the steep climb up and down.

A very interesting waterfall - the only one that falls straight into the ocean in South Korea. 1 out of 7 in Asia. The sky cleared up a bit that day so we managed to get some good pics! Also saw some aunties selling abalone and other seafood along the way! Didn't try though. Oh we did try 2 sticks of oden at the entrance of the park - it looked interesting with lots of bean sprout on top and a cuttle fish, added flavour?

Very nice waterfall, especially on a sunny day! Well worth the up to USD 1.50 it cost to get to see it. When I was there some mature ladies served very fresh seafood on the rocks oceanfront - unfortunately I had just eaten, so didn't get to try it. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that it is not the biggest waterfall in the world, but super 👍🏻🙂

Just a small waterfall attraction. Way smaller than I expected. Nothing much to see, only waterfall and sunset. There is an admission fee.

🇰🇷 Visited 09/2/2023 warm winter Saturday afternoon in Jeju island. The following sharing are based on our unbiased personal opinion and experience We arrived at this Jeongbang waterfall at around 2pm. The weather was great 👍 not too cold for hikes. We took a flight of stairs down to the shore line closer to the waterfall. Families with children and elderly can easily manage this. There were some Ajumma setting up stall by the shore selling fresh cut sashimi abalone, sea cucumber, shellfish etc. We took a closer look at how they prepared the dishes and the patrons were seated on the shore enjoying the dishes. We couldn't resist the temptations and were given in to order a set for ourselves along with a soju drink to pair with. It was a totally different experience sitting by the sea having fresh cut sashimi under the open sky. It's truly an al fresco dining experience. Den we proceed to the waterfall to take some pictures for memory sake. The waterfall was beautiful. We sat around near the waterfall before making our way out to the carpark. Overall a 4⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the unique experience

A perfect scenery spot for us who don’t want to walk a lot for waterfalls and near to the water💙 Here is the perfect place for us🌹 We enjoy the waterfall, sea 🌊 and rainbow 🌈 the stone are cool here too❣️ can step on with barefoot 🦶

It was a short trail to the viewpoint deck. But the park itself has a large area with a lot of palm trees and flowers. Also, you can go down to water if you take a side trail, which was also interesting up close to water. Always be safe.

The hexagon shaped rocks are naturally formed, it seems. It's worth a visit. Takes around 30 minutes to cover the park.

Check the closing time! We went in April and the last entry was 5:40pm. If you do choose to go there nevertheless, you can take the path on the left. There’s a “secret beach” that’s lovely with wildflowers, rocks, and a small cliff on the side.

The cliff is beautiful and kind of gives me Great Ocean Road vibes. You just need prob else than 30 mins here, so recommend to stop here if it's on your way in Jeju

Nice place to look around but not necessary to visit. Weather could change everything here so need to check up before you go and in my case was perfect weather but if there were some clouds,i would be regret. Entrance fee 2,000 won for adult and quite crowed. Its only take 40-50mins from Yeomiji garden so if you like walking it’s definitely be in your course for trip. Bus stop is around 15m from away and heading to air port. (Also enough parking places😉)

A short walk into the park where you can view the cliff from one side. A unique volcanic rock formation where the rocks look like hexagonal pillars. Quick photo stop of a unique sight but otherwise nothing too interesting here.

Beautiful but small and almost closed place to visit. Seems to be something built soon. If you are far away from this place I will not recommend spending time to visit it, as you will spend less than 10 minutes walking around it.

It‘s not even 2$/€ for a nice view onto the sea and vulcanic columns. Not too many visitors even on the weekend - probably more with great weather but worth a stop anyway.

A bit underwhelming. I was expecting to go near the rocks but this was just a platform to see the cliff. Although it’s pretty cheap but not worth the time because it’ll mostly be out of your way.

Definitely worth visiting. It's a very short, leisurely walk going to the waterfalls, and the walk itself was picturesque. The tickets were super cheap, just 2000 won per adult. And it's just less than 10 min walk from other attractions.

Comprised of three waterfalls. Of which, the second waterfall is the "grandest" of all. The third waterfall will take more effort to get to it...haha...not worth the extra leg-work!

Attraction comes with 3 waterfalls. First one has no flowing water except during heavy rain. The other 2 waterfalls are not impressive but the blueness of the water is beautiful. Entrance fee applies. Free parking on site. Attraction has operating hours. The paths to waterfalls are steps. All wooden deck out. Only can appreciate scene from observatory deck. Cannot come close to water for safety reasons.

Very beautiful place. However, the first waterfall doesn't have water unless after heavy rain. Waterfall 2nd and 3rd is kind of hard to get to. You have to be okay to walk up and down the stairs. Not really wheelchair friendly

The second waterfall was beautiful. The surroundings is also stunning. The first waterful unfortunately had dried up as it was quite a dry week. It only flows during the rain season or heavy rain. I didn't get time to see the third one.

A wide paved path leads you through the lush trees and over bridges to the base of these wide falls. Expect a number of groups to be taking pictures, with many happy to take some for you so they can get theirs done. A fun atmosphere!

Amazing views - the largest is naturally the first of three waterfalls, but there’s no waterfall unless there’s been heavy rain - still worth a look for the rock formations. There’s a bridge between the second and third waterfalls that gives you a good view of the full trail - across it is another pavilion of some sort, with a fountain and a picturesque walkway leading out of the attraction. Fruits are also sold there. Beware there are a lot of steps leading to the third one so do wear very comfortable shoes as the hike back up will be trying. Wouldn’t recommend this leg if you have limited time as it’s most time consuming as well.

Very very nice place and a great spot to take a bath. We enjoyed the cold water.

The entrance includes two waterfalls, a pond and a bridge leading to a temple. It is not allowed to swim in the pond. Views are amazing. Please notice that there are many stairs, especially to the last waterfall (which is less impressive than the pond and first waterfall). Therefore the place is not accessible. From the bridge you can have 360 degrees view which is very impressive.

We went the next day right after it rained, so we were able to see the first waterfall aswell. Alot of stairs and I do not recommend it if you have trouble walking up and down alot of stairs. It is also not wheelchair accessible. There is also a fountain when you cross the huge bride where you can throw a coin in to recieve a blessing. There is also this Tempel like building you can go up in to sit down or enjoy the view.

Beautiful! We haven’t done any outdoor activities and this was lovely. In the moment sometimes the stairs can be a lot but you move through it pretty quickly and then get to your views, which are worth it ! We happened to come across one of the waterfalls with a rainbow, it was so pretty ! Trying the fresh spring water was refreshing, and the breeze through out certain parts were nice. Definitely use the bathroom outside before, there are none when you go in, and also bring water !

The blue-est waterfall I've seen! Actually the 3 falls itself is so so, but add the beautiful bridge overlooking a valley with autumn colored trees... Beautiful! Especially love the bridge overlooking the valley and an ancient looking temple on the other side...

Nice environment, waterfalls are small but makes the surround lively. Path is well maintained and easy to run across. The bridge is magic,transport to a fairy tale

Very beautiful park and waterfalls. The pictures don't do it justice. The view from the bridge is amazing too. We came in early afternoon on a weekday, and there were very few people around then, so had an amazing experience. Would consider this a must-see if you're visiting Jeju.

View @ Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls. . The 'Pond Of God' is a 3-tier waterfall, surrounded by a temperate forest with rare plants. . The first waterfall is 22 metres tall and only flows after heavy rain, we were lucky that it's the season. . The second waterfall is 30 metres tall, and is probably the most picturesque for the effort of climbing steep stone steps, pooling into a turquoise pond. . Forewent the third, as the journey there-and-back again was extensive.

What to expect:
First of all, expect a stairs course here!!! im not kidding, you have to be physically fit. I’m not, my legs were wobbly after conquering the 2nd waterfall sooooo do CONSERVE UR STAMINA & ENERGY to come here HAHA. Since there are so many stairs, this attraction is not friendly to wheelchair bound or people who has difficulty climbing up and down stairs For the 3-tier waterfall, here is what to expect: 
- 1st waterfall is a pond that will only be a waterfall after heavy rain. The color of the pond is really pretty and the water is very clear!! But ya its not moving lo. After that, take a short walk to the next waterfall, and admire the beauty of the evergreen forest 🌳💚
- 2nd waterfall is beautiful with a stunning surrounding!! It is the “grandest” amongst the 3.
-3rd waterfall is small, which I think unless you are hard core adamant to HAVE A TRY how far and bad the stairs are that leads there then YES do go check it out. To those who is physically unfit, I really propose you skip the 3rd waterfall as the stairs LOOPS instead of directly bring you down to the 3rd waterfall 💪 Personal Review:
It is very very therapeutic to walk through the evergreen forest while exploring the 3 tier waterfall. It is so calm and the trees provide shade for a pleasant walk. Also, there are drinking fountains here!! Admission Fee:
2,500 won for adults (age above or equal to 25)
1,350 for children (7-12)/youth (13-24) Note:
There is no restroom inside, so try to go before entering! I had the urge suddenly after the second waterfall and had to walk quite a far distance back to the restroom outside at the parking area.

It was a nice Aquarium, but sadly so full of the summertime tourists that it felt a bit uncomfortable and stifling. They claim to be the largest Aquarium in Asia, however it felt a lot smaller than a few other aquariums I've been to, so I'm not sure how accurate the claim is. All that said the tanks appeared large and I'd imagine it to be a great trip off season. There is a lot for the kiddos to see and experience, and there are opportunities to see some really interesting sea animals. We did still have a good time, I would have just preferred to see it without feeling rushed and confined between a huge plethora of tourists.

We recently had the opportunity to visit the largest aquarium in the region and was thoroughly impressed with our experience. While the entrance fee was a bit on the expensive side, we found that the variety of fish species and attractions made it well worth the cost. One thing that stood out to us was how kid-friendly the aquarium was. There were plenty of interactive exhibits and hands-on activities for children to enjoy, making it a great destination for families. Additionally, the shows were a highlight of the visit and definitely shouldn't be missed. We was also pleasantly surprised by the number of penguins on display. Seeing these adorable creatures up close was a real treat and definitely a highlight of the visit. The fact that the aquarium is located right beside the beach only added to the overall ambiance and made for a truly unforgettable experience. Overall, there were plenty of things to see and do at the aquarium, from watching mesmerizing sea creatures to taking in entertaining shows. While the entrance fee may be a bit steep, we would highly recommend this destination to anyone looking for an enjoyable and educational experience.

Large aquarium with heaps to see and a perfect wet weather activity. Couple of things to note: 1. Definitely worth the online discount, probably too expensive otherwise. 2. We missed the show because it is separate from the actual aquarium area so plan to go before or after your visit as you cannot re-enter otherwise. 3. We arrived mid morning and we didn't have to wait in line and it was wasn't super busy. We left around 1pm and the entrance line was snaking all over the foyer and the place was chockablock so plan your timing wisely.

The weather was bad when we were visiting Jeju. So, the tour guide recommended this place. We enjoyed ourselves here. The place was well maintained and had a lot of interactive sections. I personally enjoyed the big tank. Apparently, they live stream the tank on Youtube 😁. Perfect place for all walks of life. You can buy tickets online in advance.

Entrance fee is slightly pricey but considering how many exhibits there are to maintain I think it justifies the price:) there also a live performance and the Main Attraction is really really Beautiful :)

I super enjoyed my time here. The aquarium is very well maintained and curated/arranged. We went here on its last hour of operation, and though we didn't catch the show, the 1 hr was enough to go through all the exhibits in the aquarium. We went here right after a very tiring day of biking around Udo island, so I was surprised that we had enough energy to go and enjoy this place. In fact, we felt energized by the end of it.

Wonderful place to spend the day with family. Colourful fish, great relaxing atmosphere. I can spend hours just to see how fish are swimming around!

We visit aquariums everywhere we visit so we decided to stop in here. It’s really clean here and the animals are taken good care of. We caught a show while we were there, it was interesting, definitely enjoyed the animals part of it. My favorite was probably the otters playing in their area and this weird fish I have a video of kind of aggressive but cute in a way also the walrus was cute too but scared me like the fish did 😅

Informative and fun place to bring the kids. Mid way there is a good playground for the parents to take a rest do take note of the feeding timings especially the stingray feeding and women diver shows!

One of the nicest aquariums I've been to anywhere. Initially you'll think the cost of admission is a bit steep, but you'll find it 100% worth the price. They have a nice array of aquatic life and the show is excellent. Our kids absolutely loved it. We would make the trip across the island to go back again.

This is a perfect family visit! Their sea life is very rich, and I enjoyed they provide a little educational talk before their performance e.g feeding. It impressed me especially when I see snake necked turtle here! Also, it was very interesting to see them to feed Ray too! They have a performance in ocean arena. Be careful, this is either the first or last visit because it means you left the aquarium area.

I visited with my kids who are 4 & 7 years old. They enjoyed watching special kinds of fish and animals and the favorite animals they liked the most was Sharks At the end of the tour, there was a big aquarium which was good place to take a group phtos with a lot of fish together. Lastly there were 2 unique shows 'feeding rays', 'female diver show'. It was really impressive and educational for kids to understand about life & culture of Jeju

The entrance fee might be a bit high but once you realize that it includes the price of the multiple shows that you can watch, it is well worth it. The aquarium is large and has many great exhibits to view. A good place to bring the kids or just explore together with your significant other.

A fantastic display of so many beautiful sea creatures. They're kept in beautiful tanks with many interactive setups for many animals. Loved it 😊

The aquarium is well-maintained. There are many kinds of huge sea animals. But price is a bit expensive. It's a good place for family with kids.

It was awesome. Way better than ripleys in Toronto. The biggest tanks I've ever seen and the animals are treated well. It was very clean. Very informative for me and my 2 years old. Fun for everyone!

worth a visit even though it’s pricey. there is a very good collection of marine life and the ocean arena performance is entertaining. there is also ray feeding and haenyeo diving demo at the main tank. can easily spend 3-4hr here. no crowd in the morning (Sunday), but pretty crazy after lunch time.

Lovely lake next to a black sand beach. I paid KRW20,000 for 1 person to kayak to the mouth of the lake. The kayak is for 2 people so it would be KRW10,000 if you have 2 people. I was given 20 minutes to go one round, which is not a lot of time but it’s not a long journey. However more time would give you the chance to relax a bit.

I love this place. And crystal clear water. U can even enjoy kayak on the water. I gotta say it is so traditional place. But these days, it ia getting popular. So when u go there on weekends, maybe it will be packed. I think it worth it to visit there.

A nice short kayak tour of 20 minutes. The course it's quite easy and anyone can do it. You can also join the group traditional boat. Take it easy and go slowly. There are birds and nice photo spots along the course. Recommended if you are in the area. The whole area can also be seen from some points along the road.

Nice place to walk, along the Hyodon stream, filled with those Jeju characteristics white rocks, eroded by water. The walking track is well maintened with places for picture taking and benches to have a rest. There are several restaurants and caffees nearby and free parking lot. You can have a 20min. kayak or 40min. raft ride.

Beautiful river but the kayak company takes away the natural feeling a bit with all the tourist.

It is a very small waterfall compared to the one nearby (jeonggbank waterfall). Still pretty nonetheless. Would have gone in the water if not for the many insects around.

A very stunning view of the Oedolgae rock with beautiful blue sea and sky. Oedolgae rock was formed approximately 150,000 years ago during a volcanic eruption. This stand-alone rock is 20 meters tall and you can never miss it! Oedolgae rock is just a short lovely walk from the parking space. It was great to take a stroll in the nearby forest. There is also a cafe nearby where visitors can enjoy a cup of drink after some walking.

Cam here to watch the sunset. May be the best spot to watch sunset in the south. Just that sadly, Jeju is currently very cloudy and we can’t see the sun set properly. Nevertheless, the sunset still painted the sky beautifully. Rocks are nice, but recommend you to come for sunset or sunrise. Nothing much to do midday.

Oedolgae Rock 외돌개. A stone pillar that perch out at sea of about 20m and a width of 7 - 10m. There are many legends about this rock but the sight of this overlooking the sea is still the one that took my breath away.

If you are planning to go to Jeju, you need to know that it's one of the best places to do a nature retreat. Oedolgae (Lonely Rock) is one of them. We spent more time walking around here than other nature parks because it's bigger. This park is also well paved and it was a breeze walking around here. We were welcomed by lush towering pines. We reached the "lonely rock" and it was beautiful. Though it was raining hard in the morning, the sea water is still turquoise and not gloomy. This place was also made popular by BTS, as they shot one of their album jacket photos here. There are picnic tables for you to have a snack or just sit and relax.

Its a nice view and calming to hear the waves hit against the rocks below and the sunset was great. But after 6.30 it become very dark. I recommend you reach at 4-5.30 for best seeing expirience and better sun set. The ticket is free just go in.

TL:DR amazing free park and coastal hike. The views are a breathtaking, and the park really well maintained. Plan on spending 1 - 3 hours depending on if you want to hike or not. Admittedly, this was a secondary spot for me to go to, and I went to it as I had a few free moments. The parking (at the time of writing) is 2,000 won, and that is the only fee. Getting to the trail is quite easy, and if I were to rate the hiking difficulty itself, it would be easy or 2 out of 10. As for the hike it is close to a perfect 10. The views are spectacular, and it is great for all ages. Depending on the weather, I would recommend anyone visiting to visit. Just be aware that the main part of the park and trail where the rock is has no restrooms. The closest one being in the souvenir/parking area. The signs and information in the area generally are in Korea and English. That making the area interesting and easy to understand. The most difficult part of the trek would be the amount of stairs to get to the trail and rock. There is a very slight incline on the trail, but nothing that anyone of any age should worry about. Last note, for those who need assistance to walk. There are no handicapped entrances or areas here for you to get to the trail and to the rock viewing areas. I don't know about the other trail heads further away from Oedolgae, but this particular area doesn't seem to be handicap friendly. Perhaps in the future this may change, but the from the parking lot and bus stop, the first thing everyone needs to do is go down a long flight of stairs.

Nice walk around the park although it was raining. Great view. It's just a relax and peaceful place. Not too many tourists when I went mid March 2023. Has one to two small shops selling souvenirs, bought an umbrella from there at 10,000 won.

A really underrated place to visit on Jeju island that turned out to be one of our favourites! Entrance and parking is completely free. There is a beautiful wooden path here that wraps around the coast with stunning sea views, which made a perfect short sunset stroll for our last day in jeju. Right next to the car park there are two large rock pools containing some of the bluest and greenest waters I have seen! Highly recommend for a relaxing and affordable attraction, particularly after dinner when you will likely have the area all to yourself!

One of the best free experiences in jeju. Had a relaxing stroll along the coastal boardwalk, got to take in beautiful sights of the sea and smells of pine.

Oedolgae in Jeju, visited in February, was an enchanting place where incredible landscapes and emotions of romance intertwined seamlessly. The dramatic coastal scenery, with its rugged cliffs and the vast expanse of the ocean, provided a breathtaking backdrop. The ambiance was particularly evocative, especially during February, allowing for intimate moments amidst the stunning natural beauty. The waves crashing against the cliffs added a sense of drama and poetry to the scene, creating an atmosphere that was both serene and deeply romantic. Oedolgae proved to be a captivating spot, offering unforgettable vistas and an opportunity to experience the sheer romanticism of Jeju's coastal allure.

We went to this site just after a massive 24hr rain. Therefore it wasn't crowded and hot as usual. The walk was pleasant and the scenery great. A 5 stars with all circumstances but probably more challenging when it is super busy. Site well maintained.

Go there on a beautiful day to enjoy the nice scenery, a short trail and easy walk from parking. For parking the front section is free parking, if it is full you have to park just next to it with will be charge 2000won,

If you park as soon as you enter. That parking lot is free. But to park right at the entrance, there’s a 2,000 won fee. There are some stairs and hills but otherwise a relatively easy walk. The site is very well maintained

Interesting place to visit, great place for pics. The exhibits are varied and fun, lots of interactive art pieces. Much of the art is contemporary and recognizable and the illusions are really neat to see live. The kids really enjoyed it, more than I thought they would. Make sure to go to the Running Man which is in the same building which was a great hour of running around. The go carts were a hit too.

Well worth the price! A great experience with many picture opportunities. Definitely recommend, especially when you are looking for an indoor activity.

Really didn't like the experience here and the whole novelty of it. I was part of a tour group, and so it was part of the itinerary that we had to go to this place. If it's free, then go along for the journey, but I wouldn't personally pay to see these exhibits.

A must see for the great illusions. But you should visit with friends because you need others to takr your pics are proper angles. But overall it was quite fun.

This place was really fun but it does get a little hot inside so I would recommend bringing some water. Lots of cool perspectives to look at, be in, and the pictures came out great! Lots of kids around.

Trick eye museums are always great. A little pricey, but a Go-Kart ride is also included.

Fun for adults but especially for children! You can take very fun photos to keep for a lifetime, with optical illusions based in placement. My daughter had so much fun she immediately fell asleep afterwards in the gift shop while we had coffee. We had a lot of fun and laughs, a good place to work off your stomach after eating all the delicious Jeju food. :)1

This is a pretty cool museum. They also have Go-Karts you can pay to ride. Their English isn't the best so point to the museum if you just want the museum. Otherwise, you get to go ride the Go-Karts whether you want to or not!

Very fun place with all the trick eye areas to take many pictures for the memories. They provide suggesting shoot at the side for your references. Fun for the family, couples and friends outing place. Going earlier is better to avoid the crowd.

You can walk all over in just over an hour and can take some fun pictures

Went here expecting to take a few fun photos and kill 30 minutes on a rainy day. We had a blast though! It was way bigger than I was expecting. It would be really fun with kids, too. Towards the end there were also some gift shops and a cafe.

(End of June) A little bit too crowded because of school's field trips. Lots of teenagers. It's fun place and has lots of Jeju's souvenirs at their shops.

A renewed museum that offers everything strange and strange of paintings and ideas, very suitable for taking pictures, fun for all ages, you will spend hours there without getting bored, also the museum's cars were a really special experience.

One of the most impressive temples i have seen in Korea. An incredible setting.

Plenty of parking space available, quiet, peaceful and you'll be able to make your offering by buying packet of rice/lighting of candle. They do not speak English, but understand basic questions.

A nice big temple that's free to enter! Highly recommended for those who want to get away from the typical museum itinerary of Jeju. Only drawback is that it's a bit secluded, so there's not much to do around it afterwards. But by itself, I think it was worth the 15-min taxi ride from the hotel.

Beautiful temple! They speak a little bit of English, you can tour the main temple and walk around the grounds. Small gift shop. Donations are welcomed.

I've seen many temples around Korea but this was one of my favorites! So spacious and with the best view. The colorful decorations were also so nice.

Beautiful and tranquil. When one is quiet, one can feel peaceful and at ease inside this temple. The walls are adorned with intricate golden details that surely catch your eye. I would say this is the most beautiful and grandest temple on Jeju island, more so compared to Gwaneumsa Temple at the foot of Hallasan.

Yakcheonsa Temple in Jeju, visited in February, left an impression of unparalleled tradition and spirituality. While time didn't permit a close exploration, the mere proximity to this temple evoked an atmosphere steeped in remarkable tradition. The temple's presence radiated an aura of profound cultural heritage, even from a distance. The grandeur of its architecture and the serene surroundings hinted at the depth of its spiritual significance. Though unable to delve into its intricate details, Yakcheonsa Temple conveyed an unparalleled sense of tradition that resonated deeply, offering a glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry of Jeju.

A stunning temple. A steep incline and steps to get to the temple and steps once inside. The lush grounds and incredibly beautiful temple are worth every step and more. Take the time to see every level and take in the sheer grandeur of this temple.

You will be greeted with a row of Jeju tangerine trees that makes the path citrusy and fresh. It is quite a hike but the you will be rewarded with the beautiful sight of the temple. I also liked the sight of Dol Harubangs like they are guarding the temple.

It’s such a beautiful and peaceful temple and the garden is also very green and lovely. I can highly recommend to visit this old and well preserved temple in Jeju with free entry but a good idea to donate money.

A very serene, beautiful, and peaceful Buddhist temple on Jeju Island! The entrance to the temple is tranquil with a fountain and fish pond. There is also a large bell and a huge drum at the compound of the entrance of the temple. It is highly recommended to visit this temple and explore the stunning interior of the main hall. The temple is very clean and well-designed. The architecture is impressive and artistic particularly the gold dragon on the pillar.

This is devotionals chanting place. It is calmness. Huge Buddha Statues. It is excellent to relief your stress looking at Buddha's face. Focus on objects. It is Kasina meditation 🧘‍♂️.

A huge Buddhist temple that took 8 years to construct, fairly short time for such a huge temple in a huge compound. Just a quick photo stop, nothing much to see or experience, perhaps only interesting for avid photographers.

eat korean street food and enjoy the minutia of life. sometimes a cat sleeps at a seafood place near one of the entrances.

Market is great place to visit when travel, it shows so many colours of that city. Wide varieties of food are available; fresh seafood, jokbal, fried chicken, steamed bun, fruit, orange juice, fried food. For this market in the middle of the food stall alley, there is a small seating which is nice if you want to buy some food items and tried them right away. This market is an everyday market, so it's convenient.

Visited here on a weekday night and it was extremely crowded - there were loads of students who seemed to be on an excursion. nonetheless there was a great variety of food here - fried chicken, black pork, dumplings, candied fruit, udo peanut ice cream, abalone fried rice and fresh seafood. black pork roll seemed to be extremely popular but did not get to try cos the queue was insanely long!!

Some of the tourist-targeted stands are a bit overpriced but there are a lot of interesting Jeju-particular foods available in the vibrant market setting.

If I could only go to 1 spot in Jeju this would be it. So Many food stalls, they were delicious. From the seafood to the chicken, and some meat-filled buns that tasted like empanadas that grandma made, but with a soft bun outside. Local breweries, and shops that represent local brewers all over. It does get packed at night, for obvious reasons. If you are like me and enjoy people watching this place was extraordinary. All my gifts on the Island were purchased at one their many shops. They do deliver to the mainland as well so you aren't carrying any of it with you.

The Seogwipo Olle Market is a livelier place to go in the afternoon/evening as most stalls do not open so early. There are stalls selling seasonal (hallabong/green tangerine) orange juices depending on your month of visit. You can also find stalls selling traditional snacks/food such as songpyeon and tteokbokki. There is a public parking area inside of the market, and some sellers offer free delivery to your car, in case you have bought too many to carry. If you happen to park outside, do take note of the number of the gate at the entrance. All entrances look almost the same so you do not want to get lost.

I loved this place. Fresh seafood, black pork, fruit and vegetables for sale to take home and cook. Or you can hit up the food stalls for street food if you want to eat there. Great place for shopping for gifts to take home from Jeju Island.

Famous Seogwipo market specializing in Jeju hallabong souvenirs. There’s also a food/fish market as well. Can be pretty busy. Parking is limited.

Came here at night for a walk and dinner. Interesting variety of live seafood, food stalls, groceries and restaurants. Abundant hallabong (tangerines) for sale...should try as these are very sweet and extremely juicy when in season.

Pretty big market here, but the night time when people starts to come at 5pm, it's like a walking street, there is a place like a mini food court inside the complex. Good place to come for snack and dinner.

It’s a relatively small but active food market. There are some unique foods that you don’t commonly get in other parts of South Korea. Overall, it’s definitely worth a stop in my opinion. Just make sure you go on an empty stomach!

A lot of good things to eat, quite clean market. Many vendors sell the same goods. For fruits, they often let you try. Fairly easy to get full if you are adventurous!

It’s definitely a place you cannot miss when pop by Jeju. Food n Drink quality & varieties are superb. You will get me if you were here. I wish my stomach could have more space (for food)….

Nice place to walk around. Food wise it's just the main street that you can find some great food. The queues will be a good indication of which stores are good to eat. Store owners put in alot of effort including fire dances and have showmanship in their food preparations

Nice market selling food, souvenirs, fruits, sashimi shops, dried goods and etc. Multi story parking available on site with charges.

Amazing big market, must visit if you're staying nearby. A lot of hype in the market itself but not everything is nice. Personally tried the black pork kimchi roll (the veg inside didn't blend well with the rest of the dish) and king crab (I didn't taste any crab. More like coleslaw with a lot of corn nibs and a layer of melted cheese on a crab shell) and I didn't enjoy both. Also there is a store with breaded black pork rice roll (with different flavoured rice). I tried the black pork squid, and oooh, the breaded layer is so good! The squid rice is great too, but it was too much for 1 pax. Can expect a queue! There's a bread store next to it. The red lobster bread is so filled, and it is soft and yummy! But the black pork bun was only so so for me. Outside of the market, there are also stores, so do remember to take a walk around and find what you may like! I found a fruit store outside selling single persimmons for 2000won, but in the market selling 4 for 10,000won (they didn't sell single pieces) I tried the persimmon and it was oh so soft and juicy sweet, just the way I liked it! I went back the next night to buy 1 more for immediate consumption and asked the ahjumma to pick 2 more for me to bring back home for consumption next week. She very kindly gifted me a piece of kiwi too and told me to air the 2 pieces of persimmons. 😍

The black pork tteokbokki was delicious. Would eat again - and affordable. The crab cheese gratin at another stall sucked - barely had any crab in it, mostly coleslaw. Was a scam, disappointing.

Street food, snacks and souvenirs. Pretty big market with varieties. Deep fried gimbap, toppokkei, tangerines, sweet sour pork etc. definitely worth a stopover to grab some snacks or buy a variety for dinner.

Came here for food. Atmosphere is good in autumn. Plenty of interesting street food but expensive. I think each food item cost more than 8,000 KRW. Every stall I visit accepted credit card. There's also several sit down restaurants (might be cheaper overall than eating street food) and shops selling Jeju souvenir and snacks. Also shops or stalls are selling hallabong and hallabong juice.

A great place to go in the evening. One section is all food, a lot of seafood and black pork dishes to choose from. Price range mostly 8000-12000krw. There is even a local craft beer stand and the beer was top notch!

The beach was closed due to windy seas, even though I arrived only two hours after low tide. There is a decent coffee shop at the end of the path from the bus stop and car park, near the replica of the 17th century Dutch ship that commemorates the marooning of a Dutch sailor who stayed 13 years and introduced Korea in detail to Europeans. Also there are fantastic views of the huge, beautiful, and nearby Sanbangsan mountain.

Nice place to catch the sea view. Check when the coast opens as timing differs daily. Would love to come here and go down see the coast.

Super awesome walk. You have to be lucky to get there and it is open or you can call beforehand to know what time it will be open. Ticket is 2000 per person (adult).

💯 you should come here in Jeju. This place looks incredible and is popular even with locals. Do note that the place can be closed if the weather is bad so check weather forecast and the tide levels. Entry fee for adult is 2,000won. Exit through the same place you enter. There are haenyeos selling their catch too so if you’re game, take a seat beside them and make your order.

This is composed of volcanic rocks explored under the sea about 1.80 million years ago . It also is made of lots of layers and you can see the mysterious scenery as you walk through the trails.

There are a lot to see here. The ship museum is a little eerie inside, but you will get a beautiful view from top of the ship. The walk along the coast is quite slippery, so please wear proper shoes. There were a lot of small crawling insects ( I supposed) around, freaked me out a little. Saw a couple taking their wedding photos here and some ahjumma selling fresh seafood. Some of them taste weird, but overall they were very fresh. On the way back, there were also some food stalls selling snacks.

Yeongmeori Coast walk. This is a must do coastline walk in my to do list. The entrance will bring you round the beautiful rock formations. Round a first corner, some local folks selling fresh shellfish to food adventurist too. The relax route completes with a rock stairs up the other end back to the entrance.

It's right in front of sanbangsan. Unfortunately, the real trail course was closed due to high waves. But it's still very pretty.

Visited on a weekday and there was a small crowd. Be sure to check the tides before coming and to wear waterproof and non slip shoes as there were parts of the trail that may get wet from the incoming waves. There was one part we had to time our crossover to the other side with the incoming tides in order not to get our shoes wet. So fun! Many awesome photo stops to capture the beauty of nature. We managed to finish the loop just before high tide. Not too far away, there was also a lookout point and a small pathway towards the Hangmandae ( Hwanguchi Beach) We also finished the visit with a climb up to the Sanbang Yeondae Smoke-Signal Station. Totally recommend this!

By far one of the best nature spot during my 3 days visit in Jeju. You can enjoy some fresh raw catch by the coast inside the attraction. How does it look like? See it for yourself. This place requires some luck to enter. Heard from my local Jeju tour guide that Yongmeori Coast opens less than 100 days in a year. If it's high tide, you won't be able to enter. I personally do not suggest to bringing kids there. The path is rocky and certain areas they are not even, which is why they are coast.

Place is amazing! Buy tickets until 5pm and walk until 5:30pm:)

Pretty sight! A lot of climbing to do. If you have knee cap issues, it is advised that you do not try. Otherwise, go for it. Really a pleasant sight and everlasting experience.

Was raining. The old path starting from the lower end seems blocked either fie to rain or high tide. So it could not be accessed. There is the other path from the top but we did not explore it. There was a small amusement park but it was not opened. I wonder if it opens at night.

Quite underwhelming even if it was opened. The walk was closed as it was high tide. Do check tide tables before coming. Similar scenic places may be found elsewhere in Jeju (of sea and mountain) so not worth the trip unless you are super interested in these rocks
