We went there early and it was fine to make some nice pictures. Maybe three people who took ages to get the right angle for the 100+ photos with the overfeed fish. It's a great place to walk around and be not to much annoyed by the Instagramers.

There's a hotel within the premises of the water Palace. We checked in there so we could take photos at dawn (few people). People start to flock by 9 am. You could feed the koi! Very beautiful and serene place.

It is a good place to take a walk, chat with your fam/friends and enjoy feeding fish in the pond or enjoy calm swings in the garden there. There are a few restaurants as well inside the place and one can enjoy the view along with some food there. You can also enjoy boating in the pond for a small ticket value. There is a local market right outside and you can shop some souvenirs if you wish to. Overall a very peaceful place with some good picturesque spots.

Here you actually felt that sense of calm you would want to feel in a temple - not like you were being ripped off just waiting in line for a photo (literally).

Very beautiful temple around 1 hr journey from ubud. You can even cover lempuyang temple along with it. Lots of water fountains and colourful fishes makes it a perfect picturesque spot for your clicks. Boating also available. There are lots of eateries inside where you can enjoy food while having a beautiful view of the greenery and water all around. Pro tip: Go early in the morning if you want good uninterrupted background without lot of people for your photos as it gets crowdy after some time and people are standing all over there to click photos.

Tirta Ganga was a leisure place developed for the Bali King during the 1900s. It's basically a combination of different fountains. Very good scenic place and good for taking pictures. One of the main attractions is floating stones. The ideal time to visit any day is early in the morning when there is less crowd. Because once it's crowded you will not be able to take pictures without people coming in the background. You will have multiple restaurants inside for food options.

If you love fish, nature, garden or temple especially Koi than you must visit this place. Those koi are huge and the scenery is amazing. A perfect place for social media enthusiasts.

Tirta Gangga is a unique water garden to visit in Bali, built in 1946. You will enjoy walking on the steps on water, and feeding the fishes. There are a lot of shops outside, buy some fish food before entering. When we visited around 10:30-11ish, it was filled with tourists across the garden. The place isn't big, but it will easily take 1hr+ inside as each tourist spends time clicking photos of themselves on the water steps. Depending on where you stay, it will take at least 2hrs each side to visit this place, so please plan your day accordingly.

This is one of my favorite places to visit in Bali, it was a sunny day. It's well laid out and attracts many visitors. It was around 2 pm during my arrival, the weather was just nice, and luckily could see a red mix bursting lights just above the pond as like a rainbow. Lovely garden, great atmosphere and polite workers. Fish were very cool and some extraordinarily large ones, flowers around the garden were beautiful. The restaurants situated in the garden were also lovely with good food at good prices. My only regret is I didn't pay to swim in the pool, just the standard 50k entry fee for one adult.

I think the most beautiful temple in Bali. Here you can take a photo at the real "Gate of Heaven" along with the staircase leading up there. It was not crowded, we had a guide from the Temple (included in the ticket price) who helped us a lot with the tour and the photos. After reading reviews, we were prepared: do NOT buy a sarong, it's included with the entrance ticket; say no to the scooters ("But it's 1km!!" "Don't worry, we walk!" and that was it); say no to the guide, who will try to force himself to come ("I accompany you! Only 150K" We don't want a guide" "I come with you!" "Well, you can come but we are not paying" and that was it). A great place to understand a bit more about the Hindu religion in Bali and its importance to them. It's a big complex of 18 temples and we were lucky to come on the day of their ceremony and see how they practise their religion. Besakih Temple, the Mother Temple if Bali. Attracting people from near and far away. Today on a full moon it is busy and very auspicious to pray with so many together. I am here to give thanks to Mother Bali to have taken me into her embrace for so very long. I am a different person today, since I have arrived 18years ago and I am so very grateful for all the gifts and teachings I have received on Bali. This ancient Temple sight of many temples has a very strong energy and it definitely the temple to come to. Our guide Ketut was very knowledgeable of the ancient history and calm and gentle guiding us through the prayers.

Temple is beautiful. But you have to be careful, because lots of people attacking you and trying to sell bunch of stuff what you don’t need. Sarong( traditional skirt) includes with a ticket on the entrance , so don’t buy it before the entrance. You also don’t have to get guide and pay for him if you don’t want, but if you would like to have a guide- it’s included with your ticket, so he will ask tips at the end. Before I planned visit this place, I read feedbacks of other people, so you kinda aware what to expect and not get disappointed ☺️ Enjoy 💛

Entrance fee is 60k. If they tell you 90k, tell them you do not want the shuttle. The distance the shuttle takes you up is very much walkable. Remember you won't get the shuttle when you come back down. So just save your 30k. You will get a free sarong and a local tour guide with your 60k ticket. After ticket and sarong, do not take anything anyone is trying to hand to you, unless you want to buy them, of course. It was a good temple visit. Wouldn't say it is a must-do.

Tourists are allowed to entrance the Temple but must wear Balinese cloths and get it after paying the entrance fee. Ticket is 150K per person is quite expensive. Once you arrive at Besakih you Will feel the peaceful ambience and ensure you feel relaxed. Going up to the Temple you can Ridha shuttle bus but or you can walk within 15 minutes to get to the Temple. Highly recommended to visit 👍👍👍

Not much to do or see at Taman Ujung. It is picturesque like the rest of Bali and that is because this was one of the the kings residence. You climb a lot of stairs expecting to see something new but it’s usually just a scenic area. There are definitely better temples to spend your time at. Entrance fee is 75k per person. I don’t recommend.

Amazing palacial retreat apparently for the Royals, open to public for visits. Absolutely huge area filled with beautiful ponds and landscaping. Ver large Walking trails, and lots of stairs to get to the Pavillion on top with great ocean views. Magnificent retreat.

Prices for foreigners is 75k ( 6$) and 50k (for locals). Light is great if is a sunny day and best spots are for sure the bridges and the lake. A true hidden gem and a must visit near Karangasem region. The park/garden itself is huge, clean and well-maintained. There is a white house in the middle of the central pond, connected by 2 bridges. A very beautiful scenery, the perfect spot to take a break. It's still underrated and thus, never crowded.

The dry northern coast rain shadow with poor soil gradually gives way to jungle east and south side. Inside the Caldera itself is the lush land with localised rainfall and good agriculture. Beaches: A little rocky volcanic yet good for walking using crocs or sandals yet they do get more coral based and beachier sandy as you head east. Fishing boats cover much of them yet less so in the West. The Eastern most coves on each beach are generally the best spot in every way. Accommodation: If you haven't already booked, I suggest arriving then firstly walk the beach area where you consider staying. You will view the venues and offerings clearly. vs. the busy road, maze like access and cacophony of often ancient signage. Vacancies will often be displayed beach side on blackboards. We stayed at smaller more local run villas featuring beach Warung in two locations(beach one then beach two) with great beach connection rather than expensive resort. AHMED SUNSET BEACH (with pool)& then WARUNG PANTAI BUNGALOWS (beach side shady trees). If we were not staying literally on the beach BLUE EARTH VILLAGE was looking good for location and everything else. Food, Drink & Cafe: The best cafe is RIMBA CAFE, top notch, amazing work RIMBA keep it up 🙏 Beautiful shady garden cafe. The best place to view the Sunset is a club for that purpose, SUNSET POINT AMED BALI, this is atop a headland overlooking beach two, it features an infinity pool, it's busy, large and has music. The sunset and the mountains were wonderful 👍 Generally for food all along the beaches locals are doing fresh seafood grilled on hot coals, just go with the catch of the day while dining on the sand where you stay most likely, the real deal, we had brekky included at both our very affordable stays. A bit of live music around. Walking to the next set of festoons is worthwhile. Activities: YOGA was a bit out of luck, one weird ayurvedic sort of venue doing a session weekly only. Blue Earth Village the main venue with a space and Gym currently has no resident teacher and nothing to offer. There is real opportunity for a Yoga instructor in Ahmed! SNORKELING features coral and some beautiful reef fish. The best spots are in the Eastern coves. Just rent gear from your hosts, simple and an activity I wish I had of applied more sunscreen for! There is a wreck further along yet it's best when tide is calm and not a must see, the best I had was just under Sunset Point on beach two. LAHANGAN SWEET, this is the highest point around up in the nearby jungle mountains on the western side of the Caldera, it's 30 minutes away by bike and the road is off beach 3. The valley into the Caldera is beautiful rural. Take care if two on one bike as it's bloody steep at points, use gears or risk brake overheating and failure on the descent, the final access to the peak is either pay for a 4WD jeep transfer, walk or bike(no weak scooter). It's only 800M so walking is fine if you are not a money bags and have time. I biked solo yet slid on both wheels coming down, don't dream about this trip in the wet. The actual tourism ticket price is about 20k a booth near the peak. A local Warung up there, great service plus WiFi. If you do it don't rush, it was amazing, the destination and the journey, great land and great people. Enjoy Amed, at least a two day stay. Thank you to the local people 🙏

Amed beach is such a special place! The water when I went was crystal clear, with very nice temperature, and I could see many pretty fish 🐠 not far from the shore. In the evening the sunset was spectacular with the view of mount Agung. Very friendly and hospitable locals. I'm coming back soon!

Beautiful dark sand beach, snorkeling here has been fantastic. We saw a huge sea turtle. Live this part of Bali!

Amazing beaches along the shoreline. Transparent blueish water. Plenty of fish in the snorkeling area. Spotted more than 7 boulder size turtles. Try to find the owner of the boat and snorkeling gears, you can have it at a cheaper price. Avoid middleman /guide brokers at any cost. Goodluck and enjoy.

Kinda like a poor man’s resort area. Suited me to a tee. Nice small village with live music and good choices for food! I didn’t do any snorkeling cause the weather wasn’t nice!

Amed is one of my favorite destination in Bali, you have all the things that you need here, restaurant shop dancing beach snorkeling and many more. Sunset also lovely here, i would defo comeback here every once in a month.

Quiet spot for diving. Warm waters with little to no currents, making it good for learners or beginner divers. Quite a fun experience going out via jukung (local traditional fishing boats) or shore entry. Simple dives with nice corals, natural and artificial reefs, and a wall drop. 2 turtles. Also saw some freedivers in practice which was pretty cool.

Great, snorkelling at your doorstep, colourful fish everywhere. Calm water. The beach is all pebbles, so it's a bit of a pain to walk on, but that's a minor detail. Nice coral with a lot of life.

Amed Beach is a Beautiful place. We went swimming and snorkling here and we really liked it. The visibility underwater is great and you can see fishes, turtles and corals here. There is lots of good restaurants nearby, too

We went here for the snorkelling and we were not disappointed! Abundant vibrant fish and coral as soon as you get in the water. We snorkelled between Warung Bobo and BARacuda. The beach is pebbly which is a bit tough to walk on but we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Amed Beach. Great view of volcano Agung too.

A tranquil beachside location with volcanic black sands and stones. Primary activities revolving around snorkelling and diving on the shore accessible reef. The sunset over the side of the great Mt Agung backdrop of Amed is simply spectacular.

Beautiful beach with white sand. Be prepared to have your music offline (if you want to be relaxed while get sunbathe) as it has no signal at all (even for phone call). It has wide sand beach, so even tough there are many visitor, you still can enjoy it. There’s only 1 proper canteen and 2 other small drink-stall who sell coconut and beee. But you can also bring your own drink and snacks before you reach the beach. If you come with car, you’ll need to park your car in the main parking area and walk down for about 5 minutes. If you ride motorbike, you actually can ride it to the motorbike parking area near to the beach. But, if you are not confidence with your riding ability, it better to parking it in the main parking area (car parking), for the route is so steep.

Good beach, they do their best to remove rubbish/plastics off the sand as it washes up so the sand is mostly clean. The water though is just heart breaking. So much garbage if you go snorkeling. The water is fairly clear, reefs are 5-15 meters deep. Decent variety of fish. A few quarter sized jelly fish. You pay 20k as a foreigner. Decent food at the warung. Showers and bathrooms included with your 20k.

One of the top beaches in Bali. White sand beach, clean. Plenty of locals Warung on the beach. Sunbeds are available for rent. There is an entrance fee and the parking area is spacious. Left before dark, since the road going down to the beach is quite a road and it gets so dark.

Before getting to the beach, if the weather is good, you'll see Mount Agung clearly. The entrance ticket is Rp 10k. You'll get free parking lot, and free toilet. If you want to rent sunbeds they're available along the beaches. The beach was clear and there were not many tourists coming here at 10 am - 3 pm. You can do snorkeling in here by renting a mask which about Rp 25k-50k. You'll find plenty of beautiful fish, many dory fish, big corals, even seal face puffer by swimming about 100-200 meters from the beach. WARNING: please be careful of sea snakes, I found about 3 of them with different types: the black and white stripes, yellow and black stripes, also the small one with brown and black types. As long you don't swim near them or threat them, it will be fine. After all, it was great experience coming here.

Virgin Beach is one of my favorite beaches in Bali. This is a calm beach with little to no waves. This beach features white sand with clear turquoise water. Despite all of this, you will never find this location crowded.

Beautiful, clean, easily accessible beach! Can rent a towel at the restaurant for IDR 25,000, rent a daybed for IDR 100,000. Only saw one piece of plastic in their beach otherwise one of the cleanest beaches along eastern side of Bali I’ve been to in a while! Came here 7 years ago when you had to track down the steep and unsafe pathway (butchered my knee falling down the rocky path like Lembongan was like 15 years ago lol), but has since been layed with bitumen and can drive your car/motorcycle right down to the beach! 10/10 recommend, so beautiful!

A big thanks to the local community for maintaining this beach so well and for making the access and parking easy 🙏🏼👍🏼 Happy to pay a small entrance fee for that. The sun chairs at the beach were also available at a reasonable price that was informed on a sign. BTW, the beach and it’s surroundings are just stunning. Coming back for sure.

Beautiful beach. Nice warungs. But the entrance fee has doubled, and apparently only for foreigners 😡. People are getting tired of bule prices! Tickets to Bali are very expensive so if prices here continue to increase so fast, tourism will go down. Think long-term people!!

Virgin Beach Karangasem is a slice of paradise on the eastern coast of Bali. The name says it all – it feels untouched and pristine. The soft, golden sands and crystal-clear waters make for a postcard-perfect beach setting. What I loved most about this spot is the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. It's a hidden gem away from the bustling tourist areas, making it perfect for relaxation and serenity. The local warungs offer delicious Balinese cuisine and the friendliness of the locals adds to the charm.

Water is so clear and clean. Beach is quiet in the evening. Restaurants close earlier when there are not many visitors. Entrance fee was 15k per person. Road is hilly with many turns. Can spot cows, dogs and cats near the beach.

It is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen in my entire lifetime. I was so ecstatic to see the deep turquoise and sea green colours right in front of me. One can do nothing but sit there and enjoy the natural bliss for hours. There are shacks lined up along the coast that provide food and beverages along with beach beds. Occasionally, a few locals would pop up offering services such as massages or sell junk jewelry. The massages can be very refreshing but you will have to bargain the price. Even the way to the beach was breathtaking. This is an ideal spot to enjoy solitude and isolation with a gorgeous view.

Very knowledgeable guide who speaks English and French. I went on a 3-hour hiking tour to discover the rice fields of Sidemen and it was very interesting to discover aspects of Balinese life that I did not know. Recommended

If you want to wonder around the Sideman rice fields - this is the best place. An amazing 3 hour walk through the fields and small villages. Very friendly owner! The guy also does Agung and Batur climbing if you’re staying in Sideman.

I very much enjoyed the trek of the rice fields and a custom tour by car during my one-week stay in Sidemen. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable (I asked a lot of questions about agriculture and history) and spoke very good English. Would absolutely recommend 😊 I'd advise to let the guides know beforehand about your physical fitness (or fear of heights) before a trek over the rice fields, as some parts are a bit tricky to walk on if you don't have proper walking shoes.

We had a 2 hour guided tour of the rice fields of Sidemen with our guide Agus. He was absolutely brilliant, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his job. We had an unforgettable experience and would highly recommend Agus as a guide if you come to Bali!

Komang is a very friendly, knowledgeable and great guide. We did a 2hr ricefield trekking with him and learned alot about growing rice, crops and the environment. Caught a glimpse of mount agong too. Thereafter we were driven to gembleng waterfall for the sunset. Komang and his team are flexible. You could share with them your planned itinerary beforehand or ask if they could go to other areas beyond what they advertised.

I had a wonderful walk around Sidemen, and learnt a lot about local farming and history too. Highly recommend doing this while you're here (and go early before it gets too warm!)

The guide Koman was a joy to trek with, very knowledgeable coming from a family of farmers and had a great sense of humour coupled with excellent English. Highly recommend trekking with this company and it's a must while in Sidemen!

We went a two our trekking in the rice fields around Sidemen with our guide Kadek. We had a 6 months old baby and a two year old in their carriers. The chosen route was perfect for us, not too difficult, but still very spectacular. Kadek showed and explained a lot about life and (agri)culture in Sidemen. Finally he recommended us his parents‘ warung for dinner, which we liked so much, we returned once again the day after.

Komang is an excellent guide who gave us a walking tour in the area between the ricefields and other vegetation. We crossed a river and came along some very nice viewpoints. We received a lot of detailed information and Komang has a very good command of the English language. Highly recommended to any visitor of Sidemen

This place is right by a busy road so is not very quiet, however, when you walk down the side road, there is a little area by the sea which is lovely. There are many restaurants, shops and bars all along the main road so plenty to eat and drink. It's very pretty here!!!

Interesting spot to stop and take a rest for a while during visit or transfer in Candidasa. Especially beautiful at the morning, when all lotus flowers are open. Stunning.

So disappointing as this could be beautiful. But as usual there is sooooo much trash. Bloody plastic everywhere. The local authorities should have an initiative to clean it up. Candidasa is such a charming town - shame there is not more pride with its local sites Btw you need to go in the AM before the sun is fully out to see them open

Flowers open in the morning for the roasted ubi eating boaters and school children next door. Buds are closed by the time runners, bathers, and everyone else comes to hang out.

Went late afternoon and was too hot for the flowers, so popped up early next day and had a beautiful surprise 😮.

You stop on the road to Candidasa and it's just there. No entrance fee. A bit hard to park if you are on a car. If you walk towards the sea front there is some restaurants on the path and a small beautiful beach on the front where you can take a small boat and go fishing, snorkeling or free diving.

The place is a misnomer as it is a lagoon full of Lily plants and flowers instead of Lotus. Nevertheless the place is scenic and worth a visit. The lagoon water is crystal clear and teeming with small fishes Best time to visit is in the early morning when the air is fresh and cool, and the lily flowers all open up. There are two restaurants next to the lagoon.

We arrived at 7am to view the lotus in full bloom as we'd passed a few times in recent days later in the afternoon and the flowers were all closed. It was well worth the visit. The flowers were quite spectacular and were best until about 9.30am when they started to close. We walked around the lagoon and chatted to locals exercising and going about their business.

Sooo beautiful and unique! Must see in Candi Dasa! Never have seen a so huge water park with sea anemones. From there you can enter a lovely small beach. Great for beautiful memories!

Amazing dinner on a boat. The food was amazing and even the service was great. The crew was very kind and paid attention even to little details to make our dinner experience amazing. They also provided for the cake because we were celebrating a birthday even if we did not ask for it! It was a special girl called Putu who took care of us during the dinner.

My husband and I chose Candi Beach Resort for our honeymoon, and we were absolutely blown away! We stayed in the Luxury pool villa and were charmed by the immaculate cleanliness and the overall pristine condition of the resort. The attention to detail truly shines through. The private beach is an absolute gem, offering stunning views and a sense of peace that's hard to find elsewhere. Excellent service and location. The staff is super polite and professional. Rooms are normal but beds and wardrobe are quite small. The beach is wonderful and the ocean is warm. The gardens are mesmerizing. Breakfast could be better, I miss cheese and fresh vegetables at breakfast.

A beautiful hotel at the east side of bali. Service was excellent. The environment feels relaxing, beachfront, and they have good restaurants available. We booked through luxury escapes which had some inclusions that provided us with free meals and massages. Everything was top notch. The villa with private pool is spacious, modern and had a beautiful view. Highly recommended.

Beautiful beach, unforgettable luxury ocean view suite which has a breathtaking view even from the bed. Staff was nice and polite even though not reaching the level of top 5 stars hotel level yet. The downsides is pricey food and drink with a taste like 3 stars restaurant. Awful breakfast, this hotel should learn to benchmark themselves with the likes of top notch popular hotel like Double Six Luxury etc.

We’ve stayed here for around 3 weeks in Dec/Jan with our kids. It’s absolutely excellent in every respect. The staff are really friendly (genuine friendliness, not fake) and the manager Gede is very involved and eager to speak to guests. All levels of rooms available, we took two of the ocean view cottages with our kids which worked perfectly but the pool villas are very smart if you don’t have young kids. Anton runs the catering very well with 3 restaurants and there are 3 excellent and crystal clear pools. Cannot recommend this place too highly!

We spent our honeymoon at Candi Beach Resort & Spa and it was an unforgettable experience! The Resort is beautiful, the rooms are really nice, very clean and the food is great. Plus with several restaurants available you can always discover something new. The staff is also excellent. From the personnel responsible for rooms and reception, to the service personnel in the swimming pool and restaurants. My stay at Candi Beach Resort was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I stepped in, I was blown away by the stunning interior and impeccable attention to detail. The room itself was a luxurious haven, offering comfort and elegance in equal measure. What truly set this accommodation apart was the exceptional service. Their warmth and dedication to making my visit special were truly remarkable. The view from the luxury ocean front suites are breathtaking!! Whether I was relaxing in the spa on the balcony or exploring the vibrant grounds, every moment was a delight. If you're looking for an exceptional place to stay, this is it! I stay here every year.

We stayed 5 nights in a luxury pool villa which was beautiful and really private. The staff were all fantastic and the service was outstanding. By far, the best service I've ever experienced anywhere in the world. They went above and beyond. The beach was nice and the water was surprisingly clear. During high tide, there is no beach but still lovely to swim in. The spa which overlooks the ocean was stunning and we had a lovely massage. The only letdown was the Indonesian food which is clearly modified to cater to Westerners - too sweet and not spicy. We enjoyed the Italian food at Basil, though. Aside from that, we had such a great holiday! Would love to return again one day and have already recommended this resort to friends. Thank you to all the staff who made this a truly special experience.

Very Good Resort with beautiful sea. Nice room but air conditioning its not too cold. Very Good view of balcony with large sofa and ceiling fan, breakfast regular. Pool good. Try Roadside stall in front hotel, its delicious.

The room I got was luxury suite and was lacking in privacy as the balcony is above the main restaurant Ocean Terrace. The room itself was good with a couple of not working lights, defective plumbing which will not turn off, a useless TV which has bad reception. The main restaurant was underwhelming with the same food served everyday and many ants will crawl on you and your food. Limited options for vegetarian. Apart that the staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall it is not worth the stay unless you go for the expensive villa with swimming pool

Best holiday experience ever! The service, the location, and the spa... it was pure bliss! They even went out of their way to deliver me a breakfast box so I could eat before leaving on an early fishing trip! Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere with everything you need right there.

The only reason I’ve rated this resort 3 star is because of it’s food. We stayed here 2 nights in pool villa & found the rooms clean & very spacious. Though, the lack of proper doors & windows let ‘friendly’ reptiles (lizards) into the room. We had to call in reception everyday to send someone to get them out! We had some complimentary snacks by the pool with the evening tea/coffee that they provide. Our hopes were high for breakfast after having the snacks but were immensely disappointed the very next morning. First of all you have very few options in the menu & secondly one can order only one item from the options they have. Waffle we had were like stone, we have never had such awful waffles in our lives. I would plan again to visit here only for staying the villa. Would rather have food outside the resort. Agreed though, one of the best resorts we have stayed till now but they really need to have better food!

It is a stunning hotel, we stood here 3 nights but it was well worth it, and kind of hard to leave. The hotel: It is a stunning hotel the view the rooms the place everything is wow. Pools pool bars everything you would need, infinity pool with a beach view. The beach: Clear sand beach with only a few rocks corals, me personally did love it. You can snorkel, we even found a turtle that we swim with and took some pictures. The room; The room is a smaller one than usual but the bathroom is big. Breakfast: Really big variety of food fresh juice fresh fruits All in all the best hotel we stood while in Bali for sure, the only regret I have is that we did not stay longer. But we will be back here 100%

Wow!! I can't fault this resort. It was possibly the most beautiful resort I've ever stayed at, and it was so peaceful. An absolute hidden gem. The staff were so kind, professional, and efficient. Our villa with its private pool was perfect. No pictures do it justice, and it was so comfortable and luxurious. The food was also great. I would have happily stayed a whole month!

We had a wonderful break at the resort. Just what we were looking for. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful views and lovely swimming along with amazing helpful staff and a fabulous room. If you want the quiet life without being bothered endlessly by others then this is your place.

We just enjoyed 5 nights in a luxury pool villa & had an amazing time! Whilst the villa, private pool & day bed were all incredible, the outstanding feature of this resort is the staff. 10/10 for genuine friendliness & helpfulness. There’s literally nothing I can suggest that would have made our stay better.

It was such an amazing experience. The resort is great. We stayed in a room with a beach view. Such an amazing way to start the day. The food of all the restaurants is great. The Balinese food is beautiful. The staffs are the ultimate of the resort. They are very friendly, polite and welcoming. I strongly recommend staying there.

A really nice place to stay with friendly helpful staff, great food and awesome rooms. We got a villa with our own private pool and couldn't recommend this place more highly. They have a good selection of activities and if you want to get an awesome driver who knows his stuff, then ask for Desu at the front desk - you won't regret it!

We stayed at CandiBeach Resort for a wonderful 5 days. The room was beautifully decorated and we had housekeeping everyday which made us feel refreshed everyday. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options from sweet bakes to fried rice and noodles. The staff were all very friendly and very attentive. Would definitely recommend family and friends to stay here and will definitely be returning. There are 3 pools, one infinity pool which has a beautiful sunset view. Beach was beautiful, warm and clean. They had people come to clean Heaps of staff around for supervision/help. No slipping hazard for kids around pools. Heaps of grass/play area for kids. Badminton net and volleyball to play. Pools aren’t that deep. Lots of shaded areas and also open areas. Variety of seating arrangements with umbrellas even by the beach. With pool side service all day.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were absolutely spoilt. The service was amazing and the standard remained consistent our entire stay. The resort was absolutely stunning and very peaceful, I have them a heads up that it was our honeymoon and they really made the extra effort to make our stay feel special. The room was filled with rose petals and had a bottle on ice waiting for us as well as a delicious cake awaiting us. Our room had an amazing view with a balcony to die for, with a jacuzzi and a gorgeous look onto the beach. The room itself was super spacious and very clean. The hotel had a romantic candle lit dinner under a gazebo for the 2 of us which was super romantic. Just the 2 of us under the stars with the view of the beach as the sun set with an amazing 5 course dinner. We also had a 45 minute photo shoot with the hotel photographer on the resort which was lovely and allowed us to have pictures of a lifetime together. This was an amazing stay for an amazing honeymoon. I am super grateful for the way they treated us, staff were always at hand to help and always super friendly and welcoming. Beautiful hotel with amazing views of its quiet, well maintained beach. The room, which we were upgraded to free of charge, was also fantastic. The staff are all great but especially, The barman in the pool bar Darniva! He was always super welcoming and a fantastic barman! We enjoyed his company so much we stayed at this pool most of our stay! He’s got a new cocktail he’s working on called Lychee Tea which is fantastic and it should be on the menu immediately (management take note)! He’s a real credit to the resort and the team at Candi Beach!

Beautiful resort in a quiet location. We had a pool villa, which was lovely, though there are three pools in the resort for everyone to use. Staff are friendly and happy to assist you in any way. Not a place for families- more for couples or anyone wanting a relaxing, peaceful holiday. There is a town nearby, but once you've been you don't need to go again. Definitely very limited if you want to shop, but there are a few good restaurants. Our second trip to Candi Beach resort - just as good as the first!!

We had a suite overlooking the ocean. Beautiful view and nice with a bed facing the ocean. Great bathtub. A bit dark in the hallways. Restaurants on site were decent but nothing more. Friendly staff. Would recommend to stay here if you're in the area.

Quaint place. Beautiful setting at the beach front. The chocolate wasn't anything noteworthy. The cold chocolate doesn't really taste like chocolate at all... Some weir Hobbit like buildings with a friendly goose and some cows strolling around. Although the only visitors the owner couldn't even say hi when we visited. The road to the place is barely drivable were you litterally have to drive through streams. If you are in the vicinity one can enjoy the surroundings. A I can imagine there could be fun parties to be had.

I will say this will be the Haven on Eart - the enviremint is unique, but unfortunately, if you are looking for the chocolate fabric, this will not be your place. Not enough friendly people and very small range on product.

we took a car, was a bit of the beaten path but manageable (came@ 6 pm. only us). there was a dew staff, but was very attentive. we almost bought all the chocolate+soap+ few more because of the quality& price. great and relaxing. due note it is a factory. if you want a guide etc call before hand and get an appointment. Wow! A hidden gem here in Bali. Definitely worth driving up from Sanur. Amazing and relaxing place to visit. The chocolate, chocolate drinks and the vegan burgers are a must try. Make sure you say hi to goose while you visit.

We visited during a time when no one was really working but Charlie was amazing. Showed us the chocolate making process, let us taste the different stages, showed us his very high up home and also the swing. Fun time! We were supposed to go back to get chocolate on our way back to the hotel but it was late and we didn’t make. Didn’t get it when we were there because we didn’t want it to melt while it exploring. I really hope we get the chance to get back out there. Chocolate was really good!

Really not what we expected. It was like a ghost town. There is some nice swings, but really nothing more to do and the staff is not welcoming. The road to the place is more like a river than a road.

Not much of a chocolate tour at all. Took all but 5 mins to show us the beans and taste their 2 products. But we enjoyed our mocha coffee and having a quiet place to sit and rest. Would we make the trip back here again. Probably not.

I took my parents who are in their mid 70s to visit Mr. Mangku and they both agree that they had the best massage ever. They rather call it a treatment as it was so beneficial and different then any massage they’ve experienced so far. Not only that their body movement and general condition improved, but Mr. Mangku was so kind to point out reasons for their health problems and gave them some very valuable advice. I am beyond grateful to him. Thank you Mr. Mangku. Next time I won’t miss the opportunity to have a massage myself and hope that we will all visit you again.

It's a very unique massage experience that you should try. It's like a strong sports massage with somewhat loud shaman music in the background that puts in a bit of a trance. It's relaxing to the muscles but with some pain level at times. The oils feel a bit tangy on the skin, creating a light burning sensation. I really enjoyed it.

A very interesting way to visit the forest of Bali. It is a very large and natural farm and the lunch is very fresh and delicious. Katut is very knowledgeable and friendly. Call to book it do not try to go on your own as it will be very difficult. Prepare to be in heat and a lot of bugs for a good amount of time.

I would 100% recommend the cask draw experience - delicious 18 year old cask strength whiskey in a lovely aromatic environment. Katie was a charming and informative host. The splosh and gurgle of the distillers dog was a delight. I don't think I'd recommend the tour however. Our guide was great but it all felt a bit rushed and there wasn't enough time to linger and it all felt a bit constructed. It didn't feel that deep or engaging despite our guides best efforts. The whiskey tasting section was nice but the selection felt geared towards shifting product rather than a really distinctive tasting experience. I'm a whiskey enthusiast not an expert but there wasn't enough contrast between the whiskeys being tasted. You could buy the whiskeys as you exit through the gift shop though... You do get a good couple of drams for your ticket fee so there's good value in that. On balance though I'd recommend you get the cask draw for €10, buy a drink in the bar and go to the Guinness storehouse for the afternoon and enjoy the sunset in the gravity bar.

Great experience. Lots of people but really well managed with small group guided tours provided. Hats off to you guys at Jameson’s. Our guide Leah S was really brilliant; informative and entertaining as well as friendly and polite, making it a really worth while visit, highly recommended. Not too hard sell, just really interesting and enjoyable experience. Lots of credit was given to all the workers over the years who have made this such a success as reflected in the company logo of a man (labourer) with a barrel on his back. This is a ‘must see’ experience.

Made reservations for a Monday evening Cocktail Class. Loved the distillery and bar area - great vibes and decor! Enjoyed our cocktail class and even had a few more at the bar area after. We did visit the gift shop and were hoping/expecting it to have many more items, but it was quite small. Would recommend signing up for one of their activities if you appreciate whsikey!

We did the Jameson Distillery Tour and had an amazing experience. It lasted about an hour, and our tour guide Sean was hilarious! He went through the entire distilling process in detail and made it interesting. And the best part - WHISKEY! I highly recommend the orange "water of life" 😉 I don't want to spoil the tour so check it out for yourself, it's worth it! And something you absolutely need to see when visiting Dublin

This was a quick walk from center city & also the Guinness Storehouse, and is in a quaint area. We did the 45 minute tour with Alex and she was INCREDIBLE! So fun, knowledgeable, and engaging. The bar is also a great, warm spot to relax at the end. We would definitely come back.

Visited in 2022. This is a must if you are a fan of Jameson. The atmosphere is great as soon as you walk in. Cool bar right when you enter where they have very good cocktails. Their gift shop is great, lots of cool items that will make great gifts. They even have a few bottles that are exclusive to the Guinness store that you can personalize with your name on the label. We did the tour and the guide was amazing! He was so good at keeping everyone engaged and the content of the tour was really entertaining. We paid extra to taste from a cask that they tap open in front of you. This is something they do not bottle for sale. Overall, highly recommend it! P.S. I heard from a local in Dublin that he had gone on a tour awhile back and it wasn’t good but they had updated the tour a few years back and he had gone back as well and was much better. So if you had gone awhile ago and was disappointed, try again! Book ahead of time!

I did the Standard Bow Street Experience your which includes a drink on arrival to take with you on the 40+ min tour, learning about the history of Jameson, how the famous whiskey is made and whiskey taste testing. Molly our guide was very nice and informative. Really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend it.

The Bow St Experience tour is well organized. Tour guide was nice, tried to engage as much as she could and entertained us. Comparative tasting was good and fun. At the end you get a voucher for a drink. I would 100% recommend ginger&lime cocktail even if you prefer neat whiskey. What made this a 5 star review was a cask draw experience in their live maturation warehouse in the building. We had an absolute craic there with tour guide Niall (kudos!) who just shinned with the love for whiskey. He was very insightful with tonnes of knowledge. Niall made cask draw experience worth every penny.

Not a fan of whiskey until today! The explanation how to taste made so much sense that you can actually really learn to enjoy it. Our tour guide was funny and explained everything very passionately. In total 4 drinks , one in the ticket you can trade in the begging or end of the tour and 3 more samples in the end of the tour. Used my Go City pass to visit this museum.

I visited 3 whiskey distilleries in Ireland and Jameson had the best experience of any of them, and was one of my favorite things we did in Dublin. The tour was very well put together (and Nial was an excellent guide). The add on cask draw was also cool. The bar there was also really good. In addition to their normal cocktail menu they had a whole old fashioned menu, we tried 3 of them and all were delicious. I would also recommend the bottle your own black barrel option to any whiskey fans.

We did the standard tour and cask draw add-on here and had a great time. Our tour guide, Erin, made it though. She was super awesome and kept us all laughing throughout. I really enjoyed at the beginning she had us all say where we were from and kept engaging with all of us so it didn’t feel like a normal run of the mill tour. While you don’t see the inner working of a factory, I felt like I did learn a lot. The cask draw was totally worth it in my opinion. They bring you inside a room that is full of whisky barrels and pull it straight up from one of them for you to try. The taste was so different than the bottled versions with it being extra burning and warmed your chest, very cool.

Fantastic tour and experience for any Whisky fan or even those new to the drink - the whole experience was very enjoyable and our tour guide was welcoming, knowledgable and very friendly. You are out into timed groups and have a history lesson of Guinness, details on the manufacturing process and then finally a Jameson taste off vs Scottish Whisky and American Bourbon. Once finishing you are free to go to the bar and redeem your drink which are great! We definitely spent a while at the bar trying different drinks on the menu (would highly recommend the Irish coffee) All in all a very worthwhile experience - options are also available should you wish to do extended tours or private events (which looking back would’ve been great to do the cask tasting session)

We loved this tour. It was interactive, engaging and informative. We did the Guinness tour as well and found that one to be a bit of a money grab as it was primarily self guided. I’m not a whiskey drinker and enjoyed this tour anyway. A lot of pride from the folks who are employed by Jameson. You can tell it’s a well managed organization and they must treat their people well as everyone was passionate about their job and pleasant to ask questions to. The tour and tasting were well thought out. It exceeded my expectations. I would do it again next time I return.

Our tour guide was amazing. She gave us the history of Jameson in a fun and informative way. It was great to hear the Bourbon barrels of Kentucky contribute to the flavor of certain Jameson whiskeys. We fell in love with this place and enjoyed their new Orange Whiskey. My GF who was not a whiskey drinker now makes Ginger and Jameson a regular on her order menu. We purchased some personalized whiskey for my daughter and now son-in-law along with making our own bottle of whiskey was a great experience. 5 stars all day and a must when you visit Dublin

you must come here and do a tour if you're in dublin! we had an amazing tour guide (ronnie) who made the experience so good. the history and process of making the whiskey was absolutely fascinating and we loved every minute. you get to sample 3 whiskies before getting your grog (free drink) at the end of your visit. The gift shop is big with a lot of items such as hoodies, t-shirts, hats, posters etc. cant recommend enough!

Had the most amazing time at the Jameson cocktail making class! Loved the atmosphere, the mixologist Marco was fabulous - friendly, funny and knowledgeable! We learnt some really cool tips and tricks and of course enjoyed the whiskey! Highly recommended…

My boyfriend and I went to Jameson's yesterday and we had a great great time, we're home visiting family and to celebrate St Paddy's day.... the staff were really great, we got to chat properly with Margaret, in the gift shop, really knowledgeable and friendly and of course our guide Leah was just fantastic.... another lovely girl in the gift shop who helped us with tax back, as he's from America, sorry I didn't get her name, we started with delicious old fashioned cocktails, 12€ each, then we did the 45 minute tour, we booked online 30€ each, it included a complimentary drink, choice of Jameson neat, or with lemonade or with ginger ale. You were able to bring this on the tour instead of rushing...... the tour itself included tasting of Jameson distillery blend, Crested Jameson and Black Barrel Jameson, it was a great experience and I will definitely go back and try one of the other tours another day..... well done Jameson x

Great experience, the basic tasting is a great deal, includes the post experience drink and a nice variety of cocktail options at the end. We went in the slow season, during winter and it was really quiet which made it even better. Took our time and only had a handful of people in our tasting. Loved learning the history, it's not as extravagant as say Guinness, but it's much more educational and interesting.

We came here and did the Bow St Experience followed by the Cask Draw which were two incredible experiences. The tour was fantastic (Alex was our tour guide and she was incredibly fun and informative) and the Cask Draw was such a unique experience where we got to try a 21 year whiskey straight from the barrel. Niall talked us through that process and gave us so much information about the whiskey. The experience is immeasurably better than the Guinness Storehouse and is very interactive, a must visit in Dublin!

Cocktail making class! Great if not the best option to choose from the different activities. Worth booking in advance as there’s not always availability. Good fun with great atmosphere! Reduced groups of max 16 people, the activity allows you to make 2 cocktails from scratch with guidance from an expert cocktail maker. Starting with a whiskey tasting the class followed with the details, ingredients and instructions of two different cocktails (changing depending on the season) and ends the session with a third drink on a private area of the distillery prepared by the instructor. Great option for any occasion from a family event to a friend gathering. Price per person at the time of visit was 60€. Further details can be found on the official site website.

We came here on Sunday evening and were only tourists. We were lucky with the weather to see the volcano. The entrance is 50K/person. We were completely alone at the temple and all the gates were open so we managed to go everywhere. It felt like a different place, really not in Bali but in the Himalayas. Extraordinary experience if you are this lucky.

Great Mount Agung hiking experience started from here. 4 hours hiking up for beautiful sunrise overlooking Mount Rinjani.

I highly recommend this temple as it away from the tourist traps like the gates to heaven. Over here hardly even any locals come. Make sure to take a water bottle up with you since there is a bunch of stairs but it’s so peaceful up there. It’s a great place to do meditation. Just make sure you bring all your supplies with you. It’s a good 20 minute trek coming down.

Beautiful location close to the volcano! It'll cost 25K each to go inside the temple.Negotiate and the Sarong will be provided free of charge with the ticket. The drive up is very steep and the air pressure is lower at altitude. Make sure your brake pads are ok for the ride down, they will run hot so take it slowly. Most of the rental scooters aren't maintained according to the manufacturer's recommendations, be careful.

The temple is 5/5 stars. So, so beautiful and absolutely worth visiting. The organisation around the temple feels like a mafia gang is in charge. We got charged double the price for the entrance compared to other tourists even after we negotiated for a better price. Had to pay for the sarong on top. No official pricing but you’re probably better off paying the gang guys. Seems some sort of ‚self-organized police‘/gang/mob. They’re running around with radios, biker jackets and bandanas. We had a chat to them and they said it’s ‚voluntary‘, as in they don’t get paid for their job.

BEWARE! The guides are a band of mobsters, asked for unreasonable prices, knowing that the path is very good marked. We didn't book a Guide despite all the harassment, paid 100k "as an entry" both of us, spent a beautiful sunrise hike alone and came back to find the tyres of our motorbike where stabbed and deflated. They reacted very aggressively when we asked for our money back to pay for what they did and we had to leave with the broken bike before everything escalated further. Needless to say we needed a couple of hours until we arrived to the "nearest workshop". They really knew how to mess up our day :(

Unbelievable! I think it’s the highest temple in Bali. The nature is so different in compare. Defiantly a must see for unique memories in Bali. The way up and down is already a adventure. It can get really could up there, so take a jacket with you. You also need a sarong, they provide some but it’s also nice to have a own one before you go there. It’s a nice souvenir as well :)

Family tent is quite good and less comfort. Bath room quite far from the end vip tent, the faucet water is salty. Warung's very small and not well organized but they give good n cheap price. When we camp there, its very noise at the night because some people had sing a song loudly. Overall bukit asah have a beautiful and amazing view

We were here when its dry.. so surroundings didn't look really green.. still nice though, great view. You could also go down the Virgin Beach from the same road line. Entrance fee per July 2020: 5k per person.

One word for this tourism object located in East Bali is stunning. This small hill has a sea view with a rock in the middle of the sea in the form of a Whale, and also a grove of green trees and Coconut trees, from here we can also see the beauty of Virgin Beach. By only paying a parking fee of 10k we can spend all day here. I also didn't forget to inform you that we can camp here because they provide the facilities and we only rent them. Pity for me, it was cloudy when I was there :(
