It is a stunning place to visit where we can know about Indian heritage, also the place is too huge and it's worth buying a ticket. Honestly, I enjoyed it very much. I felt I was over the moon when I was in these places. Moreover, it is very well maintained, and a lot of things about the heritage of Indian culture. Apart from this, the food was too delicious and the staff is very polite and humble. I think every person should watch these heritage sites. It is a very great experience. I loved it. ❤️

Great palace in the middle of the city vadodara. Entry fee is Rs250/-. They provide audio guide that help us know what we are seeing. Great gardens and architecture. One can easily spend couple of hours here. You cannot click photos inside the palace. It is worth visiting once. Entry fee is high that will definetly not want you to visit this palace twice. A very grand property built on a huge estate. Impressive architecture, modern facilities, meticulously planned and very well maintained. The Tour is planned to show certain parts only of the palace as the owners still stay here. Audio guides included in ticket price and is very informative. The armoury section and the main Darbar hall are most impressive. No photography allowed inside the palace. Ample free parking available. A nice cafe on site sells delicious food items at very reasonable prices.

While seeing such fantastic palaces, one wonders, was India actually a poor country emote Independence? 3. Well, the audio guided tour is good in which every person is provided with ear plugs & a device with multiple language options. 4. Monday the palace is closed, balance days open till 1730hrs. A considerable amount of effort has been put to maintain the artifacts inside the palace. However, scope of improvement is still there to maintain the outer structure.

Its a wow place. Right from the time you enter, you will get a wow effect. Its a huge place but the main palace tour, which is self guided, will take approx 45mins. Palace is very well maintained. Photography inside the palace is prohibited, but you can take pictures from outside. It has beautiful gardens, also used as golf course, houses a restaurant and a banquet for marriages and corporate gatherings, good parking facilities among others. Good tourist destination overall and the ticket price is worth it.

The place is awesome. Guards are polite and welcoming, also guide us if we ask about some place we didn't reach as per audio. I love to visit such royal and nostalgic places. Everything in it I love to see and listen to the history of this place. The paintings, carvings of each and every statue, details of interior and exterior everything is proof of how creative and professional artists were supposed to be in our past days. The aura of the sword room made me feel like how strong and powerful the King must be in that time who have been fighting for protection of their people. I was amazed and wanted to take a sword in my own hand and practice some fighting moves but obviously that is not possible for now as I'm not VVIP I don't know either if the VVIPS get to touch it but isn't it obvious if the queen and king of the palace allow someone to touch it then they will 100% try to take the sword in hand, my dream is to do such practice with the original. I have deducted 1 star because in the palace everywhere it's mentioned that photo and video is prohibited inside the palace and it is but foreigners were taking the photos freely and none of the guards stopped them to do so, I was disappointed to see that why the normal people of India are not allowed to take photos in there but the outside people are freely talking it why? Only if I guess they are supposed to pay more than I can consider the palace should charge more from the foreigner if they want to click pictures inside the palace and if they don't want to pay extra for the photos they must not get the picture inside.

Iconic tourist spot of the city. Went there for the first time after living in the city for about 15 years. Entry fees is 250 per person which didn't quite feel worth it. Should have been 150 or maximum 200. Being a heavy traveller, this place didn't feel as amazing as other old and iconic places I've visited across India. 4-5 rooms, cafe and garden front view are the only thing to be covered. Couldn't get the audio kit as we entered in the last 1 hour and queue management wasn't great. If you're bringing some guest, would rather suggest a combo ticket for 2 places + lunch. Big con: 1. No pictures allowed inside the palace so moments cannot be captured. 2. Weapon room which is the best part is a medium sized room so can feel crowded if 20+ people enter it at once. 3. The Cafe didn't have water bottle available, which was surprising considering its open during day time when people might be thirsty What I liked: The washroom looks old school and is pretty well maintained.

One of best palaces after Rajasthan obviously, I have ever seen. The movie,"Satya Prem Ki Katha" have been shooted there. But one has to admit that the palace needs some more maintenance too. The audio aid is helpful to know the historical references. Without it the visit would be a mere seeing not the experiencing one. There is a small cafe in the palace. In summer time this is very helpful for the visitors. Who have survived the heat in Baroda, would know why I am saying so. The sculptures are very interesting and intriguing. To know the heritage and history of Baroda one must visit this palace of Gaekwads ancestry.

Very beautiful palace. Everything is very well maintained. Rich history. Quality of audio book is also good. Takes approx a little more than 1 hour to complete the tour. Must see site if u ever come to Vadodra. For Indian citizens it's 250 bucks per head. They also have lunch and dinner facilities. Everything can be pre-booked online. They also have a mini cafeteria with amazing upside down pineapple cake. Loved it. I went on a rainy day so the weather was very pleasant and the pics turned out very well.

The entrance ticket is 250 per person and for 375 you can buy a combo for Fatehsingh Museum too (which has far better things to see from historical point of view). For palace the entrance is gate 2 and for museum it's gate 3. There's no way to walk to the museum from the palace despite both being in the same compound. Photography is allowed only outside and very small portion of palace is open to visit. The guards constantly whistle at visitors. It doesn't give you feeling of tourist place with so many restrictions and rules.

Well, this is a huge Property, one of the historical monuments of Baroda & a must visit place to understand the history of Baroda. Unfortunately, the palace needs maintenance, improvements & upkeep. I was not impressed with the state of this palace that we witnessed. Even though it’s a beautiful, the place needs some serious uplifting. It takes 2-3 hours to check it out. The best thing is they provide a free audio guide to get detailed explanation of every place in this palace. The carvings, painted glass, wall deco, sculptures are all very intricate & beautiful. The good thing is It has a nice cafeteria & clean bathrooms for visitors too. We spent time in Baroda !

It's an amazing palace to see. Situated on side of Jail road of Baroda. Vast parking available free of cost. One has to buy tickets from counter. One can buy it for palace entry as well as museum entry. Museum is far away from palace. On entry to palace, one is given ear plugs for listening to audio describing different sections of the palace. It is available in different languages. Inside palace, different sections are there used by King for specific reasons. Arms and Ammunition section was so amazing to see. Architecture was so eye catching. It was an amazing experience to watch the heritage articles. It requires atleast 2 hrs to visit palace. Outside palace, a large golf course is there which is not for visitors. I could not visit museum due to time constraints but feel it to be best just like palace. Clean washroom facility available. Tea coffee and snacks are available inside. We had great memories of visiting.

The food quality is at its peak with the beautiful view of nature. Ticketing experience: There was an option of purchasing tickets online. Filled all details on their website and paid it through credit card. Money got cut and tickets didn't get generated. When informed about the issue in ticket booking counter, clerk took it casual as a know issue and asked to proceed to entry. If I would have thought there is a bank issue and purchased the tickets again I would have lost dearly.Tickets cost you around ₹250 per adult and ₹150 per kid. It was a wonderful experience. Visit historical places every now and then. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you ☺️

A good place to visit while at Vadodara. The visitors are allowed in a small part of the Palace. Different rooms have different exhibits, which are well kept and labelled. A complimentary audio guide helps you understand the exhibits. You have to choose the language - English, Hindi or Marathi. Photography is allowed only outside but not inside. You can see the exhibits at your own pace. Please allow about 2 hours. I would certainly recommend a visit to the Palace when in Vadodara.

Positives: - The palace is great and wonderful. It clearly shows how Kings used to live, it's massive. - Once you enter the building you will be directed to the office, where you can get the audio device which will guide you through. The devices are available in English, Hindi and Marathi. - Cleanliness and lighting is enough to see the artifacts and paintings etc. They have different rooms on the ground floor open for visiting which the audio device will help you with. - You can do a lot of photography with the external view of this palace. - Very quiet and serene. There is a golf course too, but I don't think we can visit that part. - The place has a small restaurant/canteen where you can have something to eat/drink. - There is a room full of weapons which have been used in a war. The audio device describes in details about some of the weapons which helps a lot. Negatives: - They charge a good amount but the visitors are only allowed on ground floor, rest it closed for visitors. - It will take you some time to understand how your audio device works, without it you will just roam around and see things. - DSLR's are now allowed, but phone cameras are. This did not make sense. - Pigeons are messing up various statues and they need to clean those. If you are visiting on weekend it will be a little crowded and you will have to wait for your turn to click your photos. Parking is ample and free. Ticket cost us Rs. 250/- per person on Sunday. Verdict: I would not suggest anyone to drive miles just to see this place. But if you are around, do pay a visit. A little more maintenance is required.

It is hardly 2 kms away from Vadodara Junction railway station. It is the main attraction of Vadodara City. Some other places with visiting nearby are Kirti temple, City palace. It is famous among children, adults and old people. Tourists visiting Vadodara City must visit this place.

Sayaji Baug in Vadodara is a must-visit for nature lovers! The garden is well-maintained with lush greenery, perfect for a peaceful walk or exercise. There are plenty of activities for kids too, including a toy train. A person like me who belongs from eastern part of India was clueless about the family gathering in the middle of a week

Lovely place with variety of Flora and Fauna, Animal Zoo, Toy train, Crocodile Park, river passing through it. This even houses the Big Cats. Located just 5 mins away from Vadodara Junction and Bus Terminus. Must visit if you have even an hour time between transit. Zoo tickets are nominal, ₹80 for adults and ₹ 30 for Children.

Good experience, usually visit for morning walk and open gym exercise. Quality of pull up bar and double bar required be better. Zoo and animal collection in zoo is nice. Birds section is too good. Good plantation with nice variety of plants

Food outlet not bigger to handle bigger crowds, we went on 1st of Jan evening and queue was long so we skipped the eating part. Bengal tiger, crocodiles were pretty good as well. Restroom cleanliness could be better.

It is a temple that is different, of its own kind, located in army area of Vadodara. It is made of metal sheet. It is very clean, has many Hindu deities. An attraction is a series or idols from medieval period. Clicking pictures inside the premises is not allowed. Parking is not a problem.

Wonderful temple blurring the boundaries of various religions of the world. Seems like scores of idols and fragments of temples collected from various locations mounted neatly all along the premises. Entry free by showing I cards, parking for several cars. Shoe stand at entrance and the walk around the premises. A tank inside the premises just along the parking.

Wonderfully built Shiv temple. So calm and serene and peaceful. You feel you are in heaven. Made from aluminium the temple us Architectural marvel. The beauty if the temple us enhanced by numerous sculptures dating from as early as 7th century. What a collection. I was spellbound and didn't feel like going out of the place. Also there are temples of other gods including navgrah and mini Amarnath cave. It's inside the army campus. Please carry your identification for entry. A must go to place in Vadodara.

Dakshinamoorthy Temple EME Temple, Vadodara Short for Electrical and Mechanical Corps, in honour of the people who built the temple, the EME Temples is a symbol of the secularity practised in the Indian Army, the EME Temple in Vadodara is an aluminium-clad abode, constructed at the intersection of ancient and modern. Also known as the Dakshinamurthy temple, it primarily houses a massive idol of Lord Shiva, along with a miniature Lord Ganesha (specially brought in from Mahabalipuram). There is also a silver arch with the holy words "Om Namah Shivaya" engraved on it. It is a popular opinion among archaeologists that this temple is unique regarding its design, concept and geodesic design covered with war scraps and aluminium sheets. The unique aspect is how the temple supports secularism by incorporating holy symbols from every religion in its structure. The Kalash on the top symbolises Hinduism. The Dome signifies Islam. The Tower represents Christianity. The Golden-structure above the tower expresses Buddhism. The Entrance stands for Jainism. Built in classic geodesic architecture, the EME Temple is a perfect illustration of the values that are the foundation of the Indian Army. On the outside of the structure are carvings of holy symbols from various religions. The Dakshinamoorthy & Navgraha EME Temple, situated in EME School, Vadodara Campus is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It has a Navgraha Temple also which is dedicated to the nine planets in Vedic Astronomy. The EME Temple was built in 1966. It is very peaceful calm and very clean. Well maintained and worth the time spent. Echo in the main temple is very clear.

I recently visited EME temple . It has Shiv Ji murti in the form of Dakshin Murti . It has peaceful and spiritual vibe . Entry fee = 0 . Here are some photos of the place.

This temple is called Shiva Mandir Dakshinamurti Mandir. The idol of Lord Shiva is seated and imparts knowledge of dance and art, spirituality and devotion. It is built and maintained by the Army. The 'priests' here are also military men. It is on the campus of EME School, admission is free. But ID proof is required. Its construction is of a very unique and secular type. Its ‘kalash’ represents Hinduism, the tower represents Christianity, the dome represents Islam, the golden top represents Buddhism, the entrance represents Jainism. This is a unique place to visit.

27 September 2022. EME Temple. EME : Electrical Mechanical Engineering is a supporting arm of the Indian Army. Photography is not permitted. So, we did not take any. Photos given here are with the permission and courtesy of my brother-in-law Col V V Naik of EME. At the gate, we had to show our I card to gain entry. We showed our AF cards but any proof of id like Aadhar is sufficient to enter. The temple is located in a calm quiet and serene spot on the campus amid a copse of large trees and a well-maintained garden. The atmosphere is quite soothing. A dome of aluminium alloy and a rectangular tapering tower draws your attention. The design of the dome is called a geodesic structure. As per the information boards displayed at the temple, the idea and concept as well as its construction were carried out under the guidance and supervision of an earlier Commandant of EME School, Brig AF Eugine who was a Christian. It was built solely by “Shramdan” (volunteer labour) by the officers and men of the EME school. No government funds were utilised. Even though a south-facing idol of Lord Shiva is installed this Dakshnishewr Shiva temple is a symbol of secularism. This is reflected in its architecture and design. The dome is Islamic in character, The Kasha on top of the dome represents Hinduism, the spire-like tapering rectangular tower represents Christianity, the small golden structure on top of this tower indicates Buddhism, the entrance reflects Jainism and lastly the fire in the temple depicts Zoroastrianism. An added attraction is the large number of beautifully engraved ancient and historical statues obtained by the engineers in aid of diggings of the Archaeological department, which have artfully been displayed in the temple premise. Besides other, some minor temples the Amarnath Shiva installed in an artificially made cave-like structure grabs your attention. Here is a specially made and refrigerated glass case an ice shiv ling has been installed. Nicely executed idea to present an ice shiv ling akin to one at Amarnath. Spent a delightful time going through smaller shrines, the Shiv Gufa, looking at all the beautiful 6 th and 7 th century statues of various gods, rishis and apsara’s. Nice temple houses Lord Shiva ( beautiful black statue) also mini Kedarnath with white marble shivlinga..plus some old sculptures from a bygone era.. remember to get a vehicle...it is an army area so it is a little in the interior

The Vadodara Central Bus Station is one of the largest bus terminals in India opened in the year 2015. the terminal was popular for its airport-like concept and facilities. At the terminal, you will find 35 bays, used for both boarding and halting. There are separate entries to the terminal for public and private vehicles. In the front of the state bus terminal is a shopping mall with a seven screen multiplex. Making it more attractive is the supermarket, food court and a hotel designed for budget travelers. There are also commercial office spaces available for rent. Located in the Sayajigunj locality an electronic scrolling system showing the departure and arrival of buses. Other amenities include an air-conditioned waiting hall and lounge, separate toilet for handicapped persons, RO filtered drinking water facility, Wi-Fi access, ticket helpdesks and wheelchair availability. Separate parking is available for four wheelers and two wheelers. There are also sky walks connecting the bus terminal with railway station and city bus stand.

Neat and clean Bus station. It's a bus stop and a small street for shopping. You can buy clothes and accessories in an affordable range at a very low price. Having lots of food options to eat at a reasonable price. Nice place. But the bus has no schedule. Always comes late.

Central Bus Station is where you get the buses for almost all parts of Gujarat. It has various food-stalls and rest areas and there is an in-built shopping complex as well. It is right next to the railway station, which makes it very convenient if this is a transit stop to some other location.

Multiple facilities available here such as food, clothes footwears etc and different showroom outlets like One centre and Zudio for better shopping experience. Ample parking space also available. On top floor cinema and fun space with food zone also situated over there.

This is one of the most crowded bus depots in the state, only behind gitamandir bus depot in Ahmedabad. This is one of the busiest also. Buses from almost across the state comes here.

Very nice Bus stand. Maintenance can be improved more but I will give it 5 stars as it is very well managed. Buses are running on time, very good sitting arrangement, lots of shops for eatries, washrooms are clean. However it could be made a world class station by making it more clean and organized.

Sur Sagar Lake in Main Bazar Vododara Visited there at evening but didn't get opportunity to look closely as it was closed due to restoration or other thing. But it seems quite nice place for evening goer because it is surrounded by lake and bazar you can buy anything eat & enjoy the ambiance. Best place to visit any time any day. Renovated Sursagar lake with beautiful sitting around it. Also you can get a boating experience here. The Huge Golden Statue of Lord Shiva is mesmerizing.

A very nice lake and maintain very nicely by VMC . Good security and very nice environment. Cleanliness was good . Walking 🚶 street also there. Sitting arrangement was good. Gardening and trees were also nicely maintained. And very great view in evenings. Lighting and all good . We are going with friends and enjoyed a lot there. There were also 3-4 temple near there.

A very nice mall in Baroda . I visited with my friends and enjoyed a lot there. All types of brands available there. I saw some new brands also which i never saw in other malls. There was also smart bazar which was very big and all things are available in different varieties and so many different things found there. Very nice parking facilities. Also there is sitting area and fountain out side which was look very nice. It also contains tea and starbucks also.at top floor there was book stores and food area also. This is a very famous and fascinating Museum. The place has famous paintings of Raja Ravi verma, many articals of British and Italian. You can see many Bronzer sculptures, and items hear. The place is located near by Famous Place.

This is a great experience, takes around hour and half; the paintings of Raja Ravi Varma are awesome, many paintings depicting the portraits of the family members, statues and porcelains and a lot more. The marble statues of Amazing, the intricate carvings, the ornaments on the statues ; the carpet everything has been carved amazingly well.. you sometime think how they could do it in those times. The expressions are priceless. Go for it - it’s is good. You are not allowed to take pictures and you need to deposit your mobile at the time of entry, but it is worth the experience.

This is the largest Raja Ravi Verma painting collection we've seen... not many people visit this place but if you're in vadodara, please do make time. Also, the combo ticket is available at laxmi vilas palace. There is a toy train that the king bought for his son's school, world's smallest steam locomotive - spot it bang opposite the museum 😀 Pro tip: spend most of the time at the Ravi Verma paintings and skim through rest. Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum is a museum housed within the Maharaja's palace (the Lakshmi Vilas Palace) in Vadodara, India The building was constructed as a school for the Maharaja's children. Today a large number of works of art belonging to the Maratha Royal family are displayed in the museum. The museum contains works of art collected by Maharaja Sir Sayajirao Gaekwad III during his numerous trips out of India. The major works of art in this museum are the paintings by European and Indian artists including a collection of the paintings of Raja Ravi Varma, who was specially commissioned by the then Maharaja of Baroda. The collection includes portraits of the Royal family in addition to the paintings based on Hindu mythology for which Raja Ravi Varma was famous. There is a collection of sculptures in marble and bronze. These include copies of great masters in bronze commissioned by the Maharaja and also originals by renowned artists. One of the artists commissioned by the Maharaja was an Italian artist Fellicci whose works adorn not only the Museum but also the Lakshmi Vilas Palace. Some of Fellici's works can be seen on the Public Park ( Sayaji Garden also known as Kamati Baug by the locals). The museum has an oriental gallery which houses Japanese and Chinese sculptures and other works collected by the Maharaja on his visits to these countries

It's a very beautiful place. But not properly maintained by the authority. But you get audio guides which are really helpful and makes you travel to a different world, you migrate to the past and can see everything happening there.

Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum is hidden gem in the heart of Vadodara. While I was little short of time however I could appreciate the vast collection. Located within the sprawling Lakshmi Vilas Palace Estate, the museum showcases art pieces that belong to the illustrious Maratha family. European Renaissance and Rococo paintings, portraits, marble busts, and a collection of portraiture by Raja Ravi Verma (more than 30 original paintings). After enjoying the museum you would come across scaled down version of the flying scotsman and it happens to be ...in 2023 The original Flying Scotsman in the UK is celebrating its 100th anniversary, unfortunately the museum here was surely not aware of or else they could have done something more to make it special for the visitors. If you're lucky you might be able to catch a glimpse of cricket at local cricket club right next to the museum.

The museum - a pvt collection of the Gaekwad family; erstwhile rulers of Baroda ; is very rare, rich and impressive. The highlight is the 43 paintings by Raja Ravi Verma...just priceless. The artist has drawn situations and people from Hindu Vedas but with a maharashtrian touch - you will see damyanti, janki, etc dressed in maharashtrian attire and jewellery. Don't miss it. Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum consists various paintings drawn by Raja Ravi Verma and many other great artist. This museum also have British, Chinese, etc. galleries and many stone sculptures. Museum entry fee is Rs.150/- per person and Rs.30/- extra if you want Audio guide. Photography is not allowed inside the museum. You have to deposit all your luggage to entry counter. Must visit museum to witness the beautiful creations of the great artists. Also my advice to take Audio guide for knowing the history behind each creation.

The collection of Greek Roman sculptures is only one of its kind in Gujarat. Raja Ravi Verma's painting collection is the main attraction. The most irritating and stupid rule is you have to submit your mobile before entering. They should allow photography on the payment of charges.

The building is a nice looking, colonial days structure. It is clean and well maintained. There's a lot to see and admire! Beautiful stone carvings, paintings, artifacts, natural history, royalty, etc. Sadly, no photography is permitted inside the building. The staff is helpful, available and alert in all galleries. Certainly worth a visit!

The exhibits are well curated (sections on historic exhibits on Indian and other countries, minerals, birds, animals, aquatic life, the picture gallery, and so much more). A perfect place to gain knowledge and immerse yourself in art, history, and well the ambience. Photography is not allowed inside.. which I think is a good rule so yoh focus on the exhibits and not on taking pictures.

This place has a beautiful collection of paintings from many well known artists, has an Egyptian section with a mummy, has even a skeleton of a blue whale, so many gifts which were given to the maharaja Gaekwad..kids as well as research scholars will learn a lot from this visit and it's beautiful place for many activities to learn more

Need to provide video and audio guide for every artefacts in the museum. I see many kids pays visit here and they won't learn anything out of it if there are no proper guidance. Kids play area need improvement.

The entry ticket for museum costs 100 rupees for Indian citizens and 250 for foreign nationals. Photography, videography, and even talking on the phone is prohibited inside the museum. They have plenty of good artifacts to see inside the museum. There are sections dedicated to pieces from Burma, Japan, China, Egypt, and many other places. The labelling of many objects or artworks are unclear. The labels should be updated. Some exhibits had labels only in Gujarati. The European Picture Gallery had QR codes with each work but taking photographs is prohibited so I'm not sure why they even have the QR codes there. Overall the museum has many varieties of exhibits that are worth seeing.

Although photography inside is restricted, it ensures the sanctity of the exhibits. The staff's vigilance in maintaining decorum adds to the experience. Every corner tells a story, making it a must-visit for history enthusiasts. I left with a profound appreciation for the cultural heritage of Gujarat. A truly enriching experience!

It's a must visit place if you're a history and arts lover, or UPSC civil services aspirant. A well preserved mummy is kept there for display from very close. All the real things are there who's picture is there in the history books like coins of ancient times, Terracotta seals of indus valley civilization, clothes, arms, jewellery. Paintings are there and French painting just catch the attention as they look so real. In science section, skeleton of various animals are there like elephant, whales and others. Preserved animals and their body parts are also there. Photography is not allowed there. At least a day is needed for detailed visit, otherwise 1-2 hours are sufficient.

First museum to visit in Vadodara. When buying the tickets it is better to buy a book guide- before entering the museum. No photo allowed inside. Required at least two hours to see everything. You have a bench inside to rest..

The collection is dynamic and extensive for the standards of Gujarat. They don't allow photography inside. Picture gallery is the most amazing part of this museum as well as Egyptian mummy. Most Babylonian artefacts are copies from original.

A world-class museum, with interesting exhibits that are displayed well in a beautiful building. There is also a free audio guide app which was great! We spent 2-3 hours here and were very impressed.

Amazing place to visit. Photography is not allowed there so I didn't click any interior photos. But I must say this is just out of level. There are Japanese, Chinese, Indian, European gallery and old things. Every living beings feotus, skeletons, minerals, sea plants everything available there. Also galleries are attractive.

This is a wonderful museum in Vadodara, Gujarat. which is rich in collection of historical and archeological artifacts. Main attractions of museum are baby blue whale skeleton, Egyptian mummy, extinct mammoth skull head with long curved tusks, handicrafts, etc. Must visit once to learn about natural history.

Excellent example of Beautiful Temple, it's a very quiet place located near the mid of city with beautiful idols of swami narayan bhagwan . Fully equipped with all the facilities for a fabulous well maintained garden in front of the temple. Ample parking place available. Must see if ever in.

We have attended Sri Rama Navami Kalyanam at ISKCON TEMPLE. The AC Hall is spacious and comfortable. Very nice.

ISCON Temple. As you enter the huge and attractive three-arched gate you see a big paved courtyard. In the center is raised platform. Could not find out the purpose of this structure. Fairly well-maintained garden on either side of this paved courtyard. There is a big information board tabulating shlokas of Geeta giving solutions to various stressful situations and ailments encountered by people in their day-to-day life.. Wonder if anyone as ignorant about Geeta as I am has checked them out. The main temple is simple in design but looks nice, with a central dome and three main temple spires. The lower rim of the dome has beautiful paintings showing scenes of the rasleela of Shri Krishna Radha and gopies. Above the rim various gods and celestial beings showering flowers on the rasleela of Shri Krishna Radha gopies. A huge and magnificent chandelier is suspended from the center of the dome. Looks quite good. Along the walls, there are nice paintings depicting various miracles and acts in the life of Lord Krishna. Three deities are placed under the three main spires. These are the idols of Krishna and Radha, Shri Jagannath, Baldev and Subhadra, and the third idol is that of Nityanand Prabhu (Balram Swarup) and Chaitanya Maha Prabhu (Krishna Swarup). After spending just short of an hour we were ready to leave the quite and serene atmosphere of ISCIN Temple.

A very attractive and beautiful temple. A beautiful shrine, wonderful architecture. Healthy prasad is available. Restaurant is available in the campus of the temple. There food is clean and hygiene. Everything is very manageable. Aarti is so lovely, filled our heart with peace. Huge garden to sit for family and play for children. Spiritual and sacred vibes, a big, beautiful and peaceful place. Visited on 29Apr23 1. It’s a small ISKCON temple and has its own charm and serene vibes. 2. A small parking for four wheelers is available opposite the entrance, two wheelers can be parked right next to the entrance on the Road itself. 3. The first view of the temple is really majestic. There is a paved platform After entering the main Gate. There are two gardens one on each side which are decently maintained. 4. There are signboards placed on the sides before entering the main temple. These display significance of various Slokas from the Bhagwat Gita. The main temple houses various statues and the main Aarti takes place here. 5. There is a restaurant called Govinda’s which provides decent variety of food. It is situated right next to the exit.

Great to visit for believers of lord Krishna. Always feels calm and peaceful. And receives good energy and positive vibes from this temple. Maintains cleanliness also. No long waiting in queues. Food restaurant and other facilities are also available. Parking facility available for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.

The main hall is well designed and has a number of mythological paintings that are set in intricately carved wooden frames. Great vibes, good place for prayer and meditation. The temple offers you good space to sit and attend dance & Bhajan. Iskcon is Spread over an area of 6 acres, the temple complex includes the main temple hall, garden, goshala, Govinda's Restaurant, souvenir shop. Iskcon also serve free vegitarian sumptuous prasadam to temple visitors every day from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. at Annadana Hall. Rooms for staying in guest house are very nice and decent. Darshan timing is 4:30 am–1 pm & 4–9 pm. Great place for Krishna followers !!!

The oldest theatre for musical events, school Annual concert, dance, drama and much more. It's like the heart of vadodara. All the people of vadodara have so many memories of it. The only problem is that you can hardly find car parking.

The main problem here is with parking. You have to park outside on the road or you have to keep in paid parking. While the auditorium is good. Ac working properly, seat is little small which may give you inconvenience if seating for a long time

Oldest Hall of Vadodara It situated in the heart of the city.Stage,seating capacity is good.many stage shows and plays-Drama performe here.But main problem is parking. As it is in the middle of city there is lots of traffic outside the hall and there is not more parking space for cars and not for set loading.Stage is far from set loading-Unloading place so it is very difficult for settings department to move it. There is ladies and Gents Greenroom too.Gandhiji's Big idole instole outside the hall.

A large and popular auditorium in Vadodara, with the capacity of 1000+ audience. Sound quality, stage size, seating arrangements, cleanliness, services are good. The only negative point is lack of proper parking area. There is no specific parking area allotted.

Hathni mata waterfall caters really rejuvenating experience . Best time to visit is during monsoon. From month of July to November end . It can be really enjoyable trip during Diwali . It is 80 kms aways from Baroda . Roads are also paved .

I think off monsoon season is not the beat choice to visit this place. I visited this place in feb 2021, there id no waterfall but he place was very quiet and peacefull. Also got the chance to see mataji very closely and to click a lot of pics. Local peoples are also very friendly and helpful. Our route was started from pavagarh , so the road was passing through a jungle , which scared my wife but i was having too much fun.We are planning ti visit again in monsoon season, then i will update you again.

Hii...Hathini Mata waterfall is not as good as shown in many pictures or videos yes you can see that views when there is heavy rainfall but worthy visiting place. One route is through the forest where you can see many signboard with pictures including hyena and cheeta..but overall place is just ok not as good as should be. This place has a temple known as hathini mata temple and is good place for religious people...Thank you very much🙂

Very nice temple and surroundings. The place is well maintained and clean...huge premises with affordable food stalls. They even have rooms for stay but need to be booked prior since they might be full. There are multiple toilets and bathroom areas to freshen up(paid)! Good place for a one day religious trip. Near from Statue of Unity, so one can plan to visit both in a day!!!

A must visit! It feels as if you have entered a whole new world! The temple is too peaceful and serene with the water body surrounding it, and very well planned. Everything is detailed and there isn't a single corner which seem uninteresting. You'll experience a whole new world inside it. Best time to visit according to me is from 4-8 so that you get the experience of daylight, sunset and the night lights as well.

This very good college is its very faculty and this college is the first king's Palace. There used to be a palace, this college of a king named Maharaja Sayaji Rao Gaekwad, it looks exactly like a palace, if someone sees it for the first time, he will say that it is a palace.

Mandvi Gate, is the north gate of the Royal Enclosure for Baroda State and its a is one of the major landmarks in Vadodara. It has history which take us back to the Mughal period. Mandvi means mandapa (Sanskrit word) meaning pillared hall. Mandvi is at the centre of the walled city where the roads leading to the 4 gates crosses. Built by Sultan Muzaffar (1511-26 AD) and renovated in 1736 AD by the Governor, Malharoa Maloji under the orders of Damaji Roa II. Later during 1856 AD, Ganpatrao Gaekwad added more storeys. Now it is a four-storied concrete structure with a clock fitted on the top. Most of the structure is intact including some of the jaalis. On special occasions like festivals and cultural events, the gate is illuminated with colourful lights. This impressive square shaped pavilion of Mandavi has three bold arched openings on each of its four sides. It is illuminated on special occasions. Earlier it might be a market place, intermingled by two large streets separating in to four part that meet in the centre.

On the weekends the traffic would be a problem and finding a parking space would be difficult. Suggest you to travel on two wheeler only. The city's gold market and famous mangal bazaar is also near that adds to the traffic.
