Long queues for the single lift to the top. Waited about an hour. Fantastic views over Jakarta and the park is very pleasant to walk around.

Went there in early December 2021. It was beautiful, but sadly, we could not enter the museum inside the place or go up to the top due to COVID restrictions. There were 2 gates that are closed, with people selling stuff nearby. Overall, its still good even when i did not experience the best part!

Impressive monument where you can take a lift to the top. Lovely little park around it if you want to get some rest. Expect long queues unless it is weekday morning. Today there was only one lift working but it was enough. You can also hop on the little road train which will take you straight to the monument entrance for free.

It is a nice place to visit. Be careful while buying the ticket for a ride to the top deck. The whole process is mismanaged and there is no sanctity for your time. I got a slot at 12 noon and left after waiting till 1.30 pm. The museum captures the history of Indonesia beautifully.

The museum is just below underground the national monument which can be enter by purchasing a ticket for museum will be 5000rp and to visit the sky view of national monument is 10000rp. Recommend to do early booking if you intent to go up of the national monument to enjoy the sky view as ticket are limited. However it is not tourist friendly as it will be requiring tourist to purchase a JakLingko card to enter the museum that cost additional 15,000rp.

The National independence Monument, nicknamed Monas, is a huge monument in the middle of Merdeka Square. It is made of Italian marble and topped with a sculpted gold leaf flame. If you would like to ride to the top, entrance is via an underground tunnel and costs about $3 USD. Try to go early to ensure you get a ticket as they do sell out, which is to say, I did not make it to the top.

One oglf the biggest Mall in Central Jakarta. 2 buildings are West & East. F&B mostly at East Mall. Completed famous merchants. Parking area is very big. Mall for middle upper Class.

I see no one reviews their parking so here you go Price of the car parking is 5k idr for the first hour and 4k for the continuing hours Sprial for going up is kind of steep, so be careful. Also the exit is always crowded so expect some congestion when going out. There is staff that can help with managing the traffic when we go out

The West Mall is a sprawling complex offering artificial recreational areas to replace green areas and parks that are largely missing in Jakarta. It is home to a wide variety of high-end brands, as well as more affordable options, as well as excellent street foods outside the West Mall that should have the right to be inside the mall also. There is also a large food court with a variety of cuisines to choose from. The mall is well-maintained and cleans up to the minute details, and the staff is friendly and very helpful and I hope they are paid far above the minimum wage. The mall is at the central location in Jakarta, making it easy to get to, makes us wonder how they occupy a vast commercial area close to a historical landmark. The mall can be crowded at times, especially on weekends as there are almost no green areas in Jakarta. The prices at the mall can be high, so it is not the best place to go for budget-friendly shopping. The mall seems not to apply any green building or green energy design and there is not a lot of natural light inside. The mall is a maze and is a bit overwhelming, especially for first-timers, and for senior citizens. Yet, as most malls do, it is a reliable place to find what you are looking for. Car parking can be costly and hard to find. Anticipate people driving recklessly and selfishly within the mall surroundings.

Tasteless & racist music. You simply don’t play Aladdin soundtrack in NEVER-ENDING REPEAT all day in this Ramadhan month, just because the background history is Arabian. Been there 3x this month & it’s the same from morning - night. Besides, their profiles are far from good moslem: befriended with jinn, sensual dress, glorifying thieves, etc.

Nice and spacious shopping mall. West mall has many options for food than the other, but some are so crowded, so we have to wait aka waiting list.

The West mall has many specialty shops as well as the Food Hall and other restaurants & cafe. We're looking for the Kinokuniya book store, in fact it's inside the Food Hall. If you're looking for a BCA ATM you are lucky because it's located on the first level. Strangely, you need to go up 4 more levels to find other banks' ATMs.

I haven't visited Grand Indonesia since Covid. Since I like Car Free Day a lot, I have a stroll at Grand Indonesia East and West Mall after CFD. The latter is renovating a lot, a lot of shops are closed but there is a variety of food choices. I like the architecture of the East Mall and love to catch up with friends at Social House again.

There are space at 4th or 3A floor of GI West Mall for products exhibition. It is easy to attract people to come here due space have full air conditioning and its location was near food court at 4th floor.

One of the high end shopping mall in Jakarta and Indonesia. Located near Bundaran HI, contains of 2 major building of West And East mall of Grand Indonesia and connected by the sky bridge. Even this is a High end shopping mall, the entire area looks always crowded. There are plenty of both locals and international brand store and mostly the premium brands. You can only just walking around or having some meal at the restaurants and Cafe.

Great restaurants, and also a great place to have a long walk. Good stores that serve all classes of people. Been going here since 2009, when it first opened. However, nowadays management is unprofessional and store employees have no discipline. Also employees can still use customer's toilets, and some are not very hygenic. Also, when the mall is about to close they take up all the lifts, and are seen walking while playing with their phones and bumping into people, or laughing loudly and disturbing customers. Also, online food delivery drivers also walk around while playing with their phones, and bump into customers. Better to go back to the old days, when it was more exclusive. That is why I still prefer PS, PI, Senci and PIM's management. Since I have been a long time customer here, I find it to be such a shame.

One of my favorite malls in Jakarta, Grand Indonesia! They have 2 big wings, East and West. Both are great and has a big line of stores, international as well as local brands, restaurants, and supermarkets. They usually have expo or special exhibition in the middle. I usually go to Seibu and Food Hall in this wing, with 3A floor as my fave with lots of choices for food and beverages, like Marugame Udon, Koi, Pancious, Grains, Haagen Dasz, Ramen Ya, and so many more. Foodprints, the food court at the 5th floor, is also great! It offers a wide variety of food as well, including Bakmi GM, Lamien place, dcrepes, fast food and more

Grand Indonesia Mall is Jakarta's bustling hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Boasting a diverse range of stores and eateries, it offers an extensive selection of both local and international brands. With its two main buildings, West and East Mall, it's a vibrant destination catering to various tastes and interests.

A very modern and one of the newest shopping malls in Jakarta. It has a great variety of shops, but majority is high end brands, so don't expect any super bargains here. The hallways themselves offers great space. The layout can be tricky in the beginning and a little bit awkward, but it is easy to get into the groove of where to go, just make sure to have enough time ^^. 2 spacious and wide areas for dining where you will definitely be ablebto find something to your preference. As well as a couple of places are located in the LG and UG floors too. A great mall to visit if it is your first time here in Jakarta.

My least favorite mall in Jakarta. Arrogant rude fake high society types and obnoxious kids that always bump into you. It's always crowded too. The food court is great and it has a good range of shops but you can never enjoy any of it with how noisy and saturated the area gets.

Renovations make this biggest mosque in Southeast Asia better. Many pilgrims come from other cities in Indonesia. Tourists can also visit this place. There is a tourist desk that will guide you. Just watch your clothes (polite dress)

The biggest mosque in Jakarta and in south east asia. It is the national mosque located right in front of the cathedral church. It is so big that can be filled up to 200k pilgrims. The architectural design is very unique with contemporary culture. So comfy to pray here

Most worth visiting attraction in Jakarta. This place is not only stunning but also very well organized with super friendly staff that are always smile at you. Visiting time for tourist is after 10am. You shall be escorted to waiting room for your guided tour which is every 30 minutes and given proper clothing. The guide speak lovely English, he gave so good introduction about the place and give so much useful information. With 0$ entrance fee i didn't expected to be guided professionally like that. Cats are everywhere in the mosque

One of the famous and important landmarks in Jakarta and certainy shouldn't be missed if you visit the capital city of Indonesia. Istiqlal Mosque is the biggest mosque in South East Asia and the sixtth biggest mosque in the world in terms of capacity for the worshippers. I guess I read it that it can accomodate more than 200.000 worshippers at the same time. With many floors surrounding the main building, it sure will be able to welcome many. The last time I came here was during Ramadhan, at dhuha time in the morning. It was not too crowded, at that time but I guess when it's during Friday prayers, taraweh, Eid and more, the mosque is packed. There are several entrances, with separated doors for men and women. The Ablution center is also separated and the praying area is clearly designated. If you don't bring prayer mat or praying clothes (mukena), they have it ready in the praying area. Holy Quran is also available for those who like to recite it while in the mosque. It has big terraces and halls. We have many religious-related activities conducted in the mosque. The parking area is big and it can cater cars and buses. There is a playing ground for kids in the courtyard as well. It's always lovely to be here and solemnly pray.

After the renovation, I suppose this mosque is the most comfortable mosque in Indonesia. Nevertheless, the road from the parking lot to the main hall is really really far My dad who is 62 years old was struggle enough with this circumstances. I hope the management could bring some breakthrough for this

We have entered the Istiqlal Mosque through the Al Fattah or main gate.We were greeted by the  ever smiling faced young Imam of the mosque. He is such a knowledgeable person and with his smile and attitude instantly owned our heart.We came to know from him that Indonesia is primarily a Sunni Muslim country. Istiqlal Mosque is very famous in contemporary world history and President Barack Obama along with his wife, President Bill Clinton, German Chancellor Anjela Narkel and numerous world dignitaries came here in yesteryear, but he is very happy to meet some Indians. This grand structure is the largest mosque in South East Asia and 9th biggest mosque in the world and built to commemorate Indonesian Independence. It has a capacity for 200,000 worshippers. Architecture of this beautiful mosque was Friedreich Silaban. The rectangular main prayer hall building is covered by a 45-m diameter central spherical dome; the number "45" symbolizes the 1945 Proclamation of independence. The dome is supported by twelve big  round columns or pillars . 12 probably indicate prophet's birthday month of Rabi' al-awwal. We are seeing 5 floors inside the mosque which as per explanation of Imam symbolizes 5 time Azan or prayers.He also said the central dome of the mosque is 8 meters in diameter . Here 8 means 8th or August month, the month of Indonesian Independence.

This is the second time I visited the Istiqlal Mosque, my first visit here was when there was no Google account or mobilephones with cameras for almost 20 years ago. Now I visited here in October 27th 2023 specially for Friday prayers. This magnificent mosque, the largest in Southeast Asia, makes me proud to be an Indonesian citizen. An extraordinary mosque design is timeless. Since the renovation was completed, there have been improvements and additional supporting facilities to make this mosque even better. There is a paid locker cupboard to store things and our belonging when we want to enter the area inside the mosque. There are quite a lot of sanitary places available and they are quite clean. The prayer place is on the 2nd floor, up 1 floor from the ablution place. When you enter the main prayer room you can really feel the splendor of this Istiqlal mosque.

Entry to the mosques spree. A guide is provided taking small groups around the mosque after you sign in and cloak up in burgundy with gold trim, hooded gowns… Very very special. You take your shoes off and two of the mosque. It really is stunning. It’s all marble but the dome itself and the columns in the main prayer area is stainless steel with beautiful red carpets. There are five levels representing the five pillars of Islam. It is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the ninth largest in the world. Capacity is 120,000 worshippers really amazing experience. Even waiting outside for the mocks to open which is 10 am we enjoyed coffee with some Street vendors and a swat team. That were there taking a break from the patrols…

Its the biggest mosque in South east asia. Impress with the beautiful building and its really big. Located walking distance from Juanda station. Just come to the humas office and there will be a tour schedule for tourist, the staff will bring us around and share history about Istiqlal Mosque. Recommend to visit if you are around this area. Not far from Cathedral Church and Monas so can plan to visit 3 places at same time.

Alhamdulillah was Privileged to be able to visit during Ramadhan. Huge mosque, quite confusing to manoeuvre and the shelters outside font face the Qiblat. Huge prayer dome and hall. Lovely team and volunteers managing the crowds well.

Jakarta doesn't have many tourist spots, but this mosque was very nice. Foreigners (non-Muslims) will be required to tour in groups and will be guided in English. The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes. The explanations were thorough and in easy-to-understand English.

Came here in the last couple of days of Ramadhan 1445H to pray magrib and isya. Still very crowded even if it had been a holiday already. There were a lot of food stalls with so many options to accompany all visitors who want to pray along the night at this mosque. In Ramadhan, the mosque provided some iftar and rice box to visitors wanting to break a fast there, but in limited quantity. There is a locker as well in the men's wudhu place to put all your belongings if you don't want to bring it inside the mosque.

The 9th largest mosque in the world and the largest in Southeast Asia (capacity over 120,000.) The construction took seventeen years and was completed in 1978. The dome is 45m in diameter (symbolizes Indonesian Independence proclamation in 1945.) I suggest taking a tour. You should be able to take good pictures from the second floor.

It's a very big and gorgeous mosque. So cozy. But the restroom is not too much. So there is a queue. Maybe because the day i visit is public holiday. It's free, we only pay for the parking fee.

Very beautiful mosque built after the independence of Indonesia have 2 dome which represent 45 metre year of independence 17 metre which dome which represent the day of independence. Have 12 coloums inside the mosque and located just opposite to catholic cathedral which tells they leave with peace and harmony. Should visit if u go to Jakarta. Have free English speaking guide who takes u inside the mosque 🕌 tells the history of the place. It's free entrance only foreigners have to register.

The mosque can accommodate up to 200,000 worshippers. The visitor entrance is to the far right from the main entry doors. Entrance is free, you will be asked to take of your shoes once inside, and clothing will be provided to cover your knees and shoulders if you are not properly dressed. A very bossy guide provides mandatory group tours.

a lot has changed since the last decade i visited this place, quite nostalgic i would say. most of the area were kept well while the others...*sigh*. definitely do try the gondola and don't forget to rent a bike here!! it was 30K i believe? it was an enjoyable experience to ride around the park in the evening!

They said they have been renovated the place. There are some museums and gondola (need to pay extra tickets). Free bus shuttle to explore. The traditional houses are pretty. Some spots looked like abandoned and haven’t been taken care. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The Taman Mini Indonesia Indah park is an interesting place to visit for the day. The gondola was a great way to see the whole thing at once. I enjoyed seeing the traditional Indonesian style buildings. There is even a small train you can ride here.

A good place to explore Indonesia, with a good go-green policy that reduces the emission from visitors' vehicles, and lots of pavilions to explore Indonesian culture. However, the shuttle bus arrangement still needs to be improved to cater for visitors who came with public transport to TMII. This is a good place to educate children but child-friendly toilets need to be increased and rest area between the bus stops need to be provided.

It's improved very well after renovated... This miniature of Indonesia has everything if you wanna know about Indonesian cultures...located in East Jakarta and easy access fro many places... The good place to bring your family here to introduce Indonesian cultures as well as pleasure...you can also have picnic and do some sport too...

Nice place to see the sites of Indonesia. I think they need to have better signing and organised buggy service. It's hard for tourists outside Indonesia to figure out how to best get around this place. And in the daytime heat it's even harder.

It is one of wellknown attraction place in Jakarta. We can explore Indonesia in one place. Really recommended lah. It has been upgraded after renovation to be more clean, orderly and regular although I feel like the price is higher and some other facilities provided to be commercial needs. But ok lah. Hope all renovation will be done completely soon.

It's been a very long time since I've visited this magnificent place. It changed a lot! And for better! Free shuttle with a lot of stops, you can rent an electric bike, or ATV, or jeep for you and your family to visit all of the amusement and museums one by one. Better to visit this place for 3 days, because it's very impossible to enjoy all of the amusement and museum in just one day.

A pretty expansive theme park offering a glimpse into different parts of Indonesia. Entrance tickets could be purchased online for 25,000 rupiah per person, which seemed like a reasonable deal. There are buses available to shuttle people around, though general information seemed to be lacking upon our entry. We felt as though more guest information could have been made available to better understand the lay of the land and how to get around. We wandered for a while and used Google maps to attempt to get our bearings, though maybe others who enter from different entrances are given different information.

The revitalization plan for the national culture park is great. Most of the museums and attractions got renovated well. And now many locals visit the place with their family on the weekends.

Went here after the President opened the newly renovated park. It has improved a lot compared to before. However, some facilities still out of use and if you came here without cars, then you might be at difficulty to reach everywhere. But the parks itself is quite walkable. Nice stroll along the memory lane!

Newly opened after a huge renovation of the whole area. Let you enjoy the places with a fresh view with more facilities. Instead of using personal vehicles, you need to queue for a free ride to take you to each spot. They have a shuttle like vehicle with many stops all around the area. You can freely get off the shuttle at any stop you like. The opening hours is starting from 10 Am to 8 PM, but the free shuttle will only operate up to 4.30 PM. After that time, you can explore the area by foot, while waiting for the dancing fountain show. Don't miss it!

This is one of the most iconic building in Indonesia. I believe everybody in Indonesia knows Keong Mas theatre in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. They still play movies regularly however it was not a regular theatre movies which you will find in cinemas. They are planning to upgrade this Imax theatre and hopefully they can show more popular movies. The building is located inside Taman Mini Indonesia Indah so you can also find another attraction to know Indonesia in one location. Highly recommended

Nice to see culture and history but lacking in maintenance and upkeep of the place. Food choices were skimp and so many stray cats. One of the buildings were closed and we had to ask them to open it for us. Recommend to do it on a cloudy day because it gets very hot

This place is good for tourism as well as learning about culture in Indonesia. the facilities are also complete and access to the location is also easy, so there's nothing wrong with visiting this place. you will see many examples of traditional houses from various provinces in Indonesia, there is also a cable car to see this place from above.

This place is not 'mini' at all. Place is huge with many things to see. There are also free shuttle vans to bring people to different spots in the park. Do visit if you have a chance. Be prepared to spend many hours there. Reason for deducting one star: there were still ongoing constructions, so not all areas are open. Also, shuttle drivers mostly speak indonesian, which is difficult for tourists to understand. Not many places to buy drinks and food. Do note: Some places have additional charges on top of the entrance ticket price.

Good place to start introducing our country’s heritage to our next generation or tourists. My personal favorite must be the cable cars where we could clearly see the amazing landscape from up above. It’s cheap entrance ticket added even more value to this already amazing place. Most recommended.

The area is amazingly huge. You can see provinces of Indonesia with special areas dedicated. Museums are available as well as a bird park and a zoo for komodo. The aquarium is not worth the visit, but currently is under renovation - might get better again in the future. Take the cable car and you get an impression of the whole area.

The place is huge!!! Spent almost a day, in the rain, going from house to house. Some houses are replicas of a local landmarks while few are buildings that reflect the local cultures. There are small cafes in each "region", again, representing local delicacies. And there are several museums and mini zoos. I like Museum Indonesia, which is located right next to the entrance. Fee is applicable for every museum and zoo.

A mirror of Indonesia culture and traditional building architecture, you just have to bring enough time to explore all areas of the park, we arrived around 12 pm and stayed till closing time but it was simply not enough, it is a shame that most of the attentions close around 5pm though the park closes around 8pm, the shuttle bus, cable car, bike and scooter rental also close around 5 so somehow don’t understand the different closing times. Would be nice if the rentals keep open till park closing time so that you can ar least go around and enjoy on your own pace. There are enough eating places and the price is reasonable, we also didn’t had difficulty finding a toilet but mind you, not all toilets are necessary clean. In some of the attention you have to queue and pay extra entry fee which makes the whole experience a bit fuzzy and feel like waist of time. The entry ticket should include all attractions and entry fee but i think this is how they keep the entry fee low and let the visitors decide what they want to do once they are inside, we saw lots of families doing just picnic on the grass and resting areas, also lots of school children with their teachers on field trip For international visitors: not many attractions and signboards have english text accompanied with Indonesian text, i used google translate which worked most of the time

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is the most great destination for Family, there’s so many education places and It a miniature figure of Indonesia. They have 34 miniature province of Indonesia also not only miniature provice. They have a island lake of Indonesia ❤️🤍 Good destination for Family and of course for all gender. Happy Holiday 🍁🍂

Nice place to see building style from Indonisa history. Prepare to walk, but you also have elktrocar or small buss, 3h min to stay.

This is a huge theme park that has many replicas of traditional houses from Indonesian provinces. There are different attractions, some are free while some need extra charge (cable car, some museums, transportation rent). It's much more modern now, informative and a great place for foreigners and locals to learn more about Indonesian culture. At certain hours, some of the staff will dress up in the traditional clothes of each province. There is a free shuttle bus that takes you around but you could also rent bicycle, electric buggy or scooter to get around. There are many food options around the park too. I highly recommend everyone to visit TMII. One day is definitely not enough so you have to plan ahead on which attractions you want to visit.

Great atmosphere to take a walk and admire all of the historical stuff. Has a plenty kind of street foods that offers in a afordable prices. Easy to access by public transport, but it often crowded on the weekend

If you want to know and learn about the history of jakarta, this museum is the right place to go. There are a lot af artefacts, historical items, etc about jakarta. You can also see the underground jail beneath this museum, to be honest thats pretty spooky,hehe.

I went there with friends and her family. She just came from USA and told wanna go to Old City. Then there we were. We went there on Friday and crowded, but it's not so packed like weekends. We bought tickets OTS. They loved to see the buildings design and some histories related to it. In some areas, they turned the AC on and tho it has high-ceiling but still hot. Perhaps in those areas, they should open some of those high-windows😅

Great place to visit at jakarta. Not crowded today. All the people are nice here, people who dress as indonesia old figure are nice, can take picture with them. Renting bicycle to ride in the area also great. Might want to check other museums located inside, eah have their own uniqueness

I would recommend visiting here ! A few museums in the area, tattoo paloura, palm reading, portrait drawing,bike hire, cafes. Lots of tourist places selling souvenirs and clothing at a reasonable price.

A lot of graduates was helping with the tour and explaining in bahasa Indonesia. Worth the trip with school kids.

Wondering about Indonesian History ? Here you can find information about Indonesian history as well as historical attributes such as underground prison, old money, stones, table, chair, painting, etc. It is an old two stories building, so when the visitors on the 2nd floor is too many, the guards will closed the door and asking visitors to come down. This place is fit for children and school trip. The contribution fee is very cheap arounr Rp 5.000 for adults, 4.000 for varsity student, 3.000 for kids and special price for group outing. However somehow the setting was not too attractive and a bit dusty.

Museums closed at 16:00 on a Sunday. Batavia Restaurant sooo slow used up all the time for so-so meals. Most of Dutch menu gone.

Spent an hr+ looking through the exhibits. Cost of entry is very reasonable. Most of the exhibits are before the 19th century and my kids commented the free WiFi here is speedy. We came on Saturday but the crowd is still manageable and still possible to take nice photos on the exhibits. Would say this is a must visit places of interest in Jakarta.

Museum with the largest collection in Indonesia. Due to its enormous collection, there are a lot of things to display here about Indonesia. I really recommend you to visit this museum before exploring Indonesia or studying Indonesia in advance level. It is a good stepping stone for understanding of Indonesian history. This museum contains collections ranging from ethnographic artifacts, Hindu-Buddhist masterpiece from all over Indonesia, to pre historic fossils. Even though I do find that the museum is too big that it will be good if there should be a dedicated museum to exhibit classical Indonesian collections.

I was blown away by the diverse collection of items this museum has. I have seen a lot of museums (in different countries including south Asia, south east Asia, Europe and USA) showing cultural history of a society, but I felt that this one is probably the only complete historical museum I have seen till date. It covers diverse aspects of Indonesia. Right from historical kingdoms, religion and ethnicity of people, their rituals, culture, food habits, clothing, ornaments, daily essentials, tools, weapons...almost every aspect of the Indonesian people is covered here. Its visually stunning and you just can not get enough if it. Another commendable thing is despite it being so vast, it is very well maintained and well managed. They do charge a nominal fee, but its well worth it. A must must visit if you are in Jakarta.

Well, this place is where you can find all of artifact, statue and all historical things those found from many province and city in Indonesia. The place is very comfortable. The entrance ticket only IDR 5k you can buy on the spot or by online. This could be recommended place when you get bored hang out to the mall 😁😄

I love history. I love museum. Museum Nasional Indonesia surprisingly keep some interesting and wonderful artifacts. And now the whole museum has been rearranged, become more interesting and nicer to browse around. There are also volunteers who speak English, Japanese, and Korean for foreign visitors.

Nice museum located on Central Jakarta. Price on site is 25 000 rp, very accessible for most of the tourist. The weekend is not crowded even on the weekend. You might have a queue to buy ticket as there is only 1 staff selling ticket. To save time you can buy online and there is a second queue ( almost no one) to collect online ticket, sometimes online will be even cheaper as 15 000 rp. The museum is quite huge as you will have a lot to see and understand if you are interest into culture and history. The museum close quite early, around 4pm so better to plan you day.

An interesting museum and nice place to spend an afternoon. That said, as far as national museums go, a bit more care and attention could be paid to the quality of many of the displays. Some areas seemed to be lacking in cleanliness, with visible streaks on the protective glass which obscured the viewing experience. Other areas seemed to have visible signs of wear and tear.

Visited on Saturday and every attraction had long queue, especially the mistery train, their newest addition, we had to queue for half an hour. Many indoor attractions like Ice age, mystery house, were not opened yet when we visited during this covid time. Most attractions need a bit repainting as it looks old. Istana boneka needs more cleaning as some dolls has so many dusts and spider web.

A fun tourist location to spend time with family. The beach sand is clean, the sea water is clear. Suitable as a children's water play area. This place has changed a lot, in a good way. Perhaps this has anything to do with the new logo. Went there on the saturday night and the place was jammed with vehicles! Quite a surprise really. The huge change was the signs to places are plenty n really helpful. I used to get lost inside even though have been visiting the places many times. Keep up the good job!

It's ironic that Jakarta is a coastal city, but the mainland only have one public beach: Ancol. Beach supposed to be free not "fee"

The place is nice and clean though the ticket is kind of pricy. So I entered SeaWorld and charged me 75.000 during weekdays but maybe increased during weekend. And when I entered Ancol, they charged me 25.000 per each. It's recommended to go with family or partners

great recreation center in Jakarta, the entrance fee is 25k/person. I have visited the Gelanggang Samudra and Dunia Fantasi here. It was amazing. I bought the Dufan Annual Pass for about 275k for a year.

This place has improved so much! The beaches are clean, there are many place to rest and eat along the shore. They also provides buses for you to get to each beaches. Just keep in mind that sometimes the bus isn't available at all so you have to walk.

Huge place with many parks. One of them is small water park for children (Atlantis). My daughter enjoyed it very much. They have two huge slides, lazy river, big pool with water fall, nice pool with basket balls, and more. You can rent lockers, there are few local restaurants. Very cheap (about 80K rupi).

DuFan: The queues all are too long, because of physical distancing, mostly not really doing the distancing at half to end of the queues. Too bad there were so many attractions are closed. Closed attractions: Histeria, 4D, Perang Bintang, Rajawali, Niagara, pontang panting, ice age indoor area.

I never miss to visit the Cathedral whenever I am in Jakarta. Always loved how serene and peaceful here. Anybody can visit the Cathedral but the church closes around 7pm but you can still visit the grounds until 9pm to see it from outside or take photos.

Stumbled upon this beautiful cathedral in Jakarta while was walking from the Gedung Pos Ibukota. Luckily it was open was could visit it from the inside as well. Such mesmerising architecture and the sheer size of the cathedral. It was so peaceful inside and it felt like I should just sit there for some more time. Would highly recommend visiting this cathedral when in Jakarta.

Average experience. Such a shame that there was a wedding happening just as we were there. We were not allowed to enter the pues to walk around like we expected to, because of the ongoing wedding. Managed to take pictures from the rear only.

Very beautiful church architecture and though I wasn't able to attend mass I was blessed to attend a marriage ceremony. Divine experience. The church staff are also very polite and helpful. They do their job meticulously and are always humble to help.

Being located directly across the road from Jakarta’s largest mosque, Istiqlal Mosque, this beautiful neo-gothic Catholic cathedral serves a very important symbol of unity and tolerance in Indonesia where roughly 85% of the population is Muslim. Admission is free.

There's only one other cathedral that I'm aware of that has a wood-laden ceiling: St. John's of Antigua and Barbuda. Yet there's another feature that I didn't see anywhere else: the spires (60m/200ft tall) made from the iron frame. The cathedral was completed in 1901. You should be able to get decent pictures from the parking lot as well as from the Istiqlal mosque grounds. I suggest a camera over a phone.

The biggest cathredal in Jakarta (probably). This neo gothic style architecture is similar like medieval Europe, and it is beautiful and blend perfectly with modern Jakarta. This complex divided into 2: museum and prayer site. Although you can not move freely in prayer site, you can ask and do many activities in the museum. You can learn many things from its history, and how gospel started in Indonesia

Absolutely beautiful and it was just amazing to see and with the mosque being right opposite, all of it felt like I was protected and at peace. The cathedral was just wow. We were lucky to also see a wedding happen there too. The murals and the energy were just great there.

The main train station of Jakarta is located pretty much in the center of the city. It is easy to access the station by car. When at the station there are plenty of porters to help with your luggage in case you have many bags or suitcases. There are convenience stores throughout the station but not many restaurants. Everything is well organized with clearly marked lanes to follow to your departure area. There is sufficient seating in the departure area and you never get a feeling that it is overcrowded. The station is exceptionally clean and even the restrooms are very clean and user friendly. There are western toilets in the restrooms. We traveled first class and had access to the executive lounge which provides you with some peace and quiet, but no other amenities or food/drinks. All in all we were very impressed with the station and will use trains again while in Indonesia.

No air conditioned or if I may say, minimal ac-area here 😁 But I like it, it feels so Jakarta-ish, my dear beloved city!^^ This train station has two entrance/exit, they are called North Gate and South Gate. North is where 'no starbucks'. South is where 'yes starbucks' 😂😄 But seriously, north gate is nearest to the monas (monumen nasional/national monument); south gate is nearest to the us embassy. Well, it can also be said like this: North gate is the nearest gate from the car exit gate. South gate is the nearest gate from the car entrance gate *phew And, there is this one lounge for premium ticket holder or, it is 60k Indonesian Rupiah (Rp) per person for two hours max. It offers local delicacies, coffee and tea. Adjacent to the south gate is a hostel, located at second floor, it has two access, from inside the building and from outside by stairs. It will charge you around Rp 150k up to 300k-ish per two hours, depends on the room type. Oh, this lodging will ask you about train ticket too. A little tip, there are three Indomaret here, so yeah, these can misled you somehow or another in direction 😂😁 so be careful. A little trick, there are air-con zone at the KFC building inside gambir train station compound. Go to second floor for a spacious one. Or, directly check in, then wait the choochoo at groundfloor's mini garden (it is at the centre of the building). Now, I will let you guys have your adventure, have fun and stay safe!^^

This train station is like a beehive - lots of travelers come and go. Still a well organized and clean station with all facilities (even hotel) and food options. A little understanding of the local language is helpful, but you will definitely find someone here who also speaks some English. Hop on one of the very comfortable trains and explore Java from here.

Gambir Station is very accessible and located in the heart of Jakarta, central Jakarta. It is close to many public places and offices. The station is very well-maintained. You can see how clean and manageable the Station is. Direction and instruction are clearly written, so you just need to follow the the direction on where you should go. The toilet is also very clean. There are shops and restaurants inside the station so you can grab some foods or other things you need before leaving the station. There is also waiting room with many chairs close to exit gate, so you can wait for your pick up there without standing outside.

A really good history museum as well as banking. Museum was excellent, just sorry we didn't get there at 13:00 to enjoy it for the full two hours. Missed the gold bars because of it. Not too busy, but lots of visitors leaving at closing time. And price was great too!

A nice place to learn the history of Indonesia in term of Banking & monetary system started from the Dutch era with Javasche Bank until being nationalized as Bank of Indonesian in the old historical building in the Old Batavia Town. The collection of coins from all over the world in the most interesting one besides the gold bars room.

Definitely one of the best museums in Jakarta. The chronologically arranged exhibits are informative and aesthetical. However, some of the multimedia features seem broken. What we love the most is the building itself which used to be a hospital turned into a bank and then now a museum. The inner courtyard is beautiful and definitely a good photo spot. The stained glasses were also built in the Netherlands, featuring Indonesian local art.

One of the best places to learn the history of Indonesia, it teaches you how the VOC initially came to Batavia and created the very first bank system in Nusantara. The building is massive, and there's so much to see inside. You can tell that they maintain this museum very well, it looks very clean and tidy, even the dummy looks so real. I would recommend you to visit this museum.

Amazing!! I think this is the best museum in Indonesia. Very informative and everything seems carefully planned. The security check is quite tight, understandable considering what's inside. The ticket is Rp5000, very cheap for what you'll see. If you bring a bag, they'll require you to keep it in their locker. Not sure about the parking but you can use MRT and change in Bundaran HI and use TransJakarta to Kota Tua or use KRL and stop at Kota Stasiun which also has an iconic building.

Actually it is a very good place to visit if you want to know more about the monetary history of Indonesia. But you must spare extra time for your visit since it is located in a very crowded traffic, i am 99% sure you'll be trapped in traffic jam on your way to / from this museum, especially if you drive / ride your own car / bike. You cannot bring anything except id card, wallet and cellphone, even water bottle is not allowed. Inside, you will find many information about monetary system, historic figures, money that has ever used in Indonesia. The information so detailed and made you think that reading it is more important than take a photo itself 😅 I recommend you to visit it as individual, not follow a group activity. This museum is rarther big and since a group activity will always follow the schedule given by the committee, so you only has a little time to enjoy all of the collection here. Despite of that, i respect for one that still choose museum as their vacation agenda since most of locals do not visit museum much.

I was coming as a group and their services are so great! The guides are so nice & able to speak in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. The place has nice temperature compared to another museum in Kota Tua. It is also very clean and even has a spot for the visitors to sit and having their own lunch. It also has nice photo booths!! It will be better if the security should allow the groups to enter base on their own arrangement 🙏🏻🙏🏻

A very pretty museum in Jakarta. Located at kota tua, I visited on Saturday morning, not so crowded. 5000 rupiah per person, quite cheap and valuable. Overall experience is really good,not a small museum so can spent at least 30 minutes or more here.

One of the best museums in Indonesia. Educative, informative and accessible for disable. Group visiting requires in advance ticket reservation through it’s website. Located in Jakarta Old Town close to Kota Station, wear light clothes as it is warm and humid unless you are always inside the building. Close during break time 12-13pm.

Something just stood out about this museum when I was trying to find something to do on a wet Jakarta Sunday afternoon. I was not disappointed. Great selection of exhibits about the Indonesian economy. Sounds boring? Well, with a history encompassing the 17th century Spice wars up to the more recent riots during the Asian Financial Crisis make much of the exhibits quite compelling. Throw in some of the Indonesian Gold reserves (in a very secure vault) and a detailed section on coin manufacturing and you have a must visit museum if you are in central Jakarta. Very cheap at 5,000 Rupiah and with an interesting shop at the end for that rather unusual Indonesian souvenir.

I didn’t expect to have a great zoo in Jakarta. It is noticeable that the air is fresher than the outside of the zoo. To enter is very cheap. The food sold is so value for money as well. No wonder so many people enter the area. To get a lesser visitor enter early in the morning. It is a nice place to run or cycling around the lake.

If you are living around South Jakarta, may Ragunan zoo could be considered for your morning jogging on the weekend. Actually it was calm and refresh to run around here. But I suggest to come and entrance about 6.30 to 7 am. Because at 9 am it was start being crowded. Enjoy!

Worth to visit at least once if you lived in Jakarta or neighboring cities. Entries are dirt cheap, just 4k Rupiah. Foods inside are also very affordable ranging from 10k ~ 50k. Its a very large place to walk around, Shuttle are available for 10k/person if you choose to take it. The Zoo train is not worth it (10k) if you didn't have kids or didn't bring them, you could barely see any animals while on it, and if you do choose to take it try to avoid the 2nd carriage since the smoke from the Head Unit will choke you. The lake is a good place to wind down and take a nice slow walk. The primate center is a must if you visit here, although for an extra cost of 7,5k

They did a great job revitalising the track around the lake and cleaning up the water bodies. Great for jogging, morning walk, or bike ride. The lake no longer smell, unlike several years prior. If you come to work out, try to come before 7. The largest part of the local crowd will come around 9 for picnic or gathering. One of the busiest zoo ever, but they need to figure out better budgeting structure to take better care of the animals. I can see infrastructure is getting better, but most animal enclosures will definitely benefit from a facelift.

A favorite zoo in Jakarta. In addition to cheap, complete facilities, the location is easily accessible by public transportation. For registration, the visit must be one day in advance.

very beautiful garden and Zoo I saw many animals in a somehow natural environment birds, Bear, giraffe , Peacock ,Rooster , Lion and ... but the problem is that this is a very big zoo and you need to walk a lot. on the other hand there are not enough and available facilities in this Zoo. in compare to the Singapore zoo and Safari, it is in a lower level. but totally I suggest visiting this Zoo if you have a trip to Jakarta

Very nice! The enclosures are big and the animals seem well fed and happy. Some parts of the zoo were under maintenance, but we surely will be back sometime soon!

It's better than expected, but i had low expectations. Very spacious area, and the exhibits are all in great condition, quite a good # of types of animals too but most of them are lonely - they're alone in the cage/ exhibit. Like the tigers / lions / bears / orang utan

I visited this zoo a year ago which was so great and nice. But after a year without maintenance become so dangerous place for kids, much charp edges, broken cement, much missing items, so hard for wheelchair or baby trolley to access, my baby trolley get destroyed within an hour. The place still so clean The entry fee is only 4k for adult 3k for kids, and 6k for parking The cages made from glass is not clean which not enough to get a clear vision

Went to Ragunan about a month ago during my trip to Jakarta. Out of all the sites I saw, this was probably one of the more underwhelming. The animals were great and I did enjoy the atmosphere overall while I was there. To be honest, most of the highlights came from the very friendly Indonesian people who approached me on multiple occasions. It's always nice to stand around and have a charming chat with the locals. That being said, the infrastructure is run down and looks like it hasn't been properly maintained. The animals (although still wonderful to see and view) seemed to be pretty unfazed and kind of depressed. Not only that, but the zoo felt more like a marketplace than an actual zoo. Market spots set up at almost every open square of grass around. On that same topic, the zoo was insanely busy! Even for a Thursday. The amounts of crowds around were unlike any other I had seen in a zoo before, really interested in seeing how busy it gets during the weekend period. Overall, I did enjoy most of my time there even if I did feel disappointed in the lack of care for the facilities. Did see some animals for the first time and I did like the commotion with the locals. If you're a novice traveller and prefer someplace more quiet, consider spending your time somewhere else.

Visited Ragunan Zoo from Senayan, and the cab ride took approximately an hour for around 20 km. While the entrance fee was affordable, I found the facilities in the zoo to be poorly maintained. For those planning a visit, renting a bike is highly recommended due to the expansive size of the zoo. It's worth noting that the zoo has quite a few slopes, making the bike ride a bit challenging, but it's still a better option than walking. The rental charge for a bike is around 10k IDR per hour.

Nice place to bring young children. Very educational where they can see and learn about the various fish species in the ocean. They have fish species living in the rivers also. I was expecting more varieties of fishes and other different or unusual marine life, but they don't have them. Also another disappointment is the sea world area is small so you can scout the area rather quickly. There are stalls to snack or grab a quick cheap lunch and merchandise stores in the area.

Went here with fellow coworkers. It's a perfect place for a family outing where kids can get an educational experience about the sea world. They even have live feeding sessions during specific hours, adding an interactive element for guests to enjoy. Just be aware that weekends tend to get quite crowded, so plan accordingly.

the last time i visited sea world was when i was around 12 yo. all i remember about it was how big and magnificent the place was, especially the aquarium tunnel. but when i visited it again a few days ago (i'm 21 now), it wasn't as big as i remember. and why do i feel like the fish decreased too?😅. some aquariums even have rather murky water and i saw a sick shark. but it's still an enjoyable place, especially for children, to experience seeing water creatures up-close. my favorite section is the jellyfish section.

They have so many fishes collection here. Its friendly to bring your family, especially the children to get know more about the lives of the deep sea. They had mermaid show, unique aquarium from ex car, and much more. Go feel it by yourself 💪🏼

I explored only the aquarium section of this place. It's a pleasant, well-maintained, and fascinating spot. The staff are helpful, and there are live feeding sessions during specific hours for guests to enjoy. The animal exhibits offer a diverse and engaging experience. Although some aquarium glasses seem a bit dirty in places, overall, it's still quite enjoyable. Given the relatively high admission price for the Ancol complex (20k per person + 10k for cars), I recommend exploring other venues such as the live shows and bird park as well

Never get board for kids and friends. If you are looking to see sea creatures then you should come here. Buy bundling ticket for "Sea world + Ocean dream" would be nice. In the OCEAN DREAM, better you to come earlier than 11 am. And visit the ocean dream 1st, to watch the 1st animal show at 11am.( if am not wrong) the dolphin show. Certainly the children here really enjoyed themselves, lots of photo opportunities for the parents and the self absorbed, but in terms of quality... In all the tanks the water looked a bit dirty, cloudy. The constant noise from the over loud repetitive music was headache inducing. I felt sorry for the fish. The display is quite limited, and it gave me the impression of a management that doesn't want to invest any more into it. Can't really say I would recommend it unless you have nothing else to do!

Still oke after maybe 10 years haven't go there, although bit crowded during weekend (we went there on Sunday). Bit Sad as there was no giant ikan pari anymore.

After a very long time, I came back here again. This time, I bring my kid to introduce him about sea creatures. The place was clean and organized, although quite small in my opinion. There are 2 floors inside. On the first floor, there was a tunnel and many big aquariums. On the second floor we can find a small fish museum and we can see the tunnel from above. Hope Sea World Ancol can increase the facilities more and becoming the best sea aquarium in Indonesia.

My first time visit to this amazing place, esp for me as an fish enthusiast. It’s super exciting. Not dissaponting at all but need some improvement in some places such as aquarium cleanliness and the variety of fishes that are limited. I really want to see a life giant octopus but I cant find it here. Some aquarium are empty and broken too, looks like its not maintained well. Please make them all healthy, these fishes.

it was a fun experience watching fish in a tank, the place seems small than other aquarium that i visit. They are no dolphin nor orca shown in the aquarium which is good for the environment. highly recommend to visit but beware the lines takes 15 minutes to 30 minutes

Overall, its good and recommended! There are many collections of fish start from common river fish to deep sea fish, shark, and jelly fish! The merchandise is not too expensive for me, and what i love the most is the underwater tunnel where you can see fish around you and feel like underwater. But, my sugestion is please give visitor limit per hour because its so CROWDED even when you come early (i come here when the Christmas holiday) (there are opening ceremony too! Visiting during high season is quite inconvenient. The food options are pretty limited. Luckily I could see barongsai performance underwater. What I anticipated the most was feeding piranha. Jellyfish collection is amazing meanwhile the tube aquariums for jellyfish are visually overwhelming.

As busy as usual during the holidays. You can't bring food and drink from the outside, but you still have a place to eat inside the building. The ticket line's a little messy, too. Chargering stations are also available even if you use a USB port, so it is recommended to use a charger cable that does not have a data transfer feature. Hygiene is alsoined here. If there's a show, sometimes the audience covers an area so it's hard to get to a certain point.

I've been twice now, once during the day and then again in the evening the next night. During the day, it was full but not overwhelming. Could use some shade though. Plant 👏 some 👏 trees👏!! The next visit in the evening was cool because so many people were gathered to hangout and listen to music, however I just didn't feel very comfortable. Getting lots of stares, people walking closely behind me. Plus there is lots of trash scattered on the ground, the fountain in the middle is stagnant and everything just seems smelly.

Actually just a big square but wuth a magical atractions. Mingle with the locals, watxh the old buildings, learn about the Dutch Colonial tines and be confronted with it. Walk around, its nit Singapore or Hongkong, but it has it charm. Lots of work still need to be done, but it has started to change.

If you are a history person than you must come here & spend your day. 💢 There are one tourist information center nearby here that you can get any information & booklets to plan your trips. A landmark free to enter, an heritage building from Colonial era. Known as Fatahillah Park, more like one big complex of government building for administration and economics interest. With a large open space or plaza and four cannon facing to north this one of the tourist destination in Jakarta was a City Hall, Court, Religious Event, Goverment Center, ect back in time. At a north of the park there's old trail of rail with explanation about it also old cannon with strange symbol in the back, near the City Hall u can found old bunker submerged by water. This is why if u take a walk then u can see it's like a surrounded by massive buildings and many infrastructure. Visitting it feel like time travel to the past, old architecture, facinating historical heritage, atmosphere of past time, the smell of old material and the tale that keep echo thru the time. Some tourist i meet came from decendant of their ancestor who was a invader and they visitting for nostalgic reason. Some just to explore and documentation or vacation. Today, all building although being renovated or has been renovated was shifted to another fuction like Museum, Art Exhibition, Post Office, Restaurant, Cafe, Office, Food Court, Culinary Stall, ect. Faciility available, from toilet, disability needs, minimarket, except for parking area is harsh because they don't provide it near so need to park far away (private car). But if u came by online car or taxi just stop at roadside then walk in. My suggestion is don't try to looking for parking area around or else u will need to driving around more and more just wasting time, if lucky u can park at post office indoor parking area but almost full all the time beacuse too small or park at parking slot that provide by people around with expensive rates about IDR.20.000 each car. If u intend to take a picture, make a video, or enjoy this place with peaceful then came in the morning 8am beause at 3pm or more it will be crowded as hell, specially on the weekend, holiday, big day, or day of event. Attraction from decorated bicycle, models, custom figure, action figure, magic show, street band, music, dance, light show, ect can be found mostlynat night. Beware for pick pocket and thief or scam because some area get more light while another too dark so watch for ur belongings. Rates for meals was standard, i ate with my family for IDR.100.000 and we got Kebuli Rice with big chop of chicken and dates, soto bogor (like soup withnlota of condiment), snack and four drinks at resto in post office building. I don't know with KFC or another cafe or food stall rates around. Well maintenance and clean is a key to protect and maintain this area and of course awarness from tourist and people all around. So good hunting, travellers.!

This place is one of the heritage vacation spots in Jakarta which is always crowded during national holidays, this place is quite easy to reach and is located in the heart of Jakarta. We can reach this place by private vehicle, or even public transportation such as trains and buses. The place looks like a big square with Dutch buildings from the colonial era surrounding the area. There are several museums in places that we can visit, with fairly cheap entry tickets. We can also find some street vendors around so we don't have to worry about hunger. There is no entrance ticket to visit the plaza, only parking fee if you bring your own vehicle.

Lively square, nice atmosphere. Not too happy about all the opportunities to act Dutch (custome, bikes) because those days are over and were basically a bad thing.

After the restoration, all the way to go to the park are car free. So easy to access. If you go there by train, just take the right side gate. After that, cross a road and you'll see big sign "JAKARTA". There you go, just go forward along the way and you'll be arrive. This area is car free. You can visit some museums. The nearest are museum fatahillah, museum keramik, and museum wayang. On weekdays less people, but there will be lot of people in weekend and afternoon. The outdoor weather is quite hot, so don't forget to put on sun screen and bring water 😉 (there is a mini mart, café, and fast food). Enjoy

Yesterday was my first time visit Suropati Park for morning walk. The track is good and clean, although many people passing by but still smooth. Many street vendors sell the foods, drinks, snacks and bubbles to play. There are also several securities so people don't have to worry about the safety. The area is very cozy, not only for walking also for picnic and gathering.

+ The park is pretty big with tons of space to sit down and have your little picnic. + On the weekends, there is a music group playing and practicing around the park, and it adds more serenity to the whole ambiance. + Tons of food sellers around the park. + Easily accessible using public transportation (Bus). + There is a small mosque within the park. + They have a little book hive where you could donate or lend a book.

This park is one of the most popular park in Central Jakarta. It provides many facilities like prayer room, bookhive (a corner for you to borrow and read books), reflexology stepping stones, some gazebos, etc. There’s also several toy seller for you who bring kids and you can easily see some pigeons here. For motorbike, the parking lot is located around the park’s sidewalk but if you drive by car, you can park around accross the street.

And, rather than focusing on building malls that are inaccessible to all, Jakarta desperately needs more parks like this. It's a nice spacious park even though it's not big. Love the big trees, monument and some art stuff. It's suitable for toddlers or little children to play and enjoy the greenery.

THE BEST PARK IN JAKARTA Not so big as a park ( if you compare to Central Park in NYC or Millennial Park in Chicago), but it is quite majestic and charismatic in appearance. Lots of big trees with artistic benches. It has a jogging track too. The overall atmosphere is soothing and lovely. Come here on the weekdays (early morning is best) as during the weekend it's always super crowded!

I had a wonderful time visiting Suropati Park for a morning walk for the first time yesterday. It was a nice and clean track, and I did not have any trouble walking even though there were many people around. There were also many street vendors who offered food, drinks, snacks and bubbles to play with. The park had several security guards, so I felt safe and comfortable. It was a cozy place to walk, picnic and gather with friends. The park was spacious and green, even though it was not very big. I loved the big trees, the monument and the art installations that added some charm to the park. It was a great place for toddlers or little children to play and enjoy the nature.

great park in the middle of Menteng area. It's not too big, yet well maintained, clean, plush green and serves as the oasis amidst the busy corner of Jakarta. It's close to a prominent and posh residential area in Central Jakarta. It has toilets and mushola or the praying room, so it's very convenient to be around here without worrying that you's going to miss your prayers. There is a jogging tracks and some spots for sitting around the park. Parking can be a bit tricky as there are not many parking spot around the park

Small loop of walking/running track. You can do picnic but (i think) no sitting in grass. There’s also public toilet. You can park your vehicle at the side road of this park.

A little garden in the middle city. A fresh place to visit after work. We can run or just walking with friends or family. There are many people also jogging around.

They have a great collections but need bit more extra treatment because the room is a little stuffy. Also need more descriptions notes on each collection. And perhaps they could do a little improvement for the notes written in English.

The museum has so much inprovement from the last time I visited it 5 yrs ago. However some areas are still dark, humid and unpleasant to visit.

Even though the entrance fee is only 10.000 IDR (70 cents), a foreigner doesn’t get much of the static display of puppets. At least they should perform a puppet show.

My family and I recently visited the Wayang Museum in Jakarta, and we had a great time! The museum is home to a large collection of wayang puppets, which are traditional Indonesian shadow puppets. The puppets are made from a variety of materials, including wood, leather, and cloth. They are used to tell stories from Hindu and Buddhist mythology, as well as from Indonesian history.

Loved the tranquil old colonial building amidst the bustle of modern Jakarta. Aside from the puppets the building and some of its memorials also offer a glimpse into Dutch Batavia. The puppets are amazing and many tell stories from the Hindu epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. I went early in the morning and was the first, and only visitor the entire time. Must see.

I think the only one puppet show museum in Indonesia. Located in Kota Tua Jakarta, North Jakarta. Easy to find and access. Cheap price. Many kind of puppet displayed. With good arrangement and lighting, I looks interesting. Also display puppet from around the world. Quite big museum, 2 floor and everything can be accessed by wheelchair with more effort. Also there is a show every specific time.

It’s a interesting museum but most exhibits don’t have a description in English. I would have loved to learn more about this very important aspect of Indonesian culture.

In this museum, you can expand your knowledge about wayang as well as foreign pupets and traditional music instrument with your friends. Apart from that, we did various fun activities there, such as: Walking around and explore the wayangs and more that were on display in this museum. We had so much fun coming there and even took pictures of our moments in the museum. Right after finishing our small tour at the Wayang Museum, we decided to buy some souvenirs to commemorate. Despite it's low admission price, the museum's facilities are equally well maintained. From the toilet to the collection in this museum. This museum is highly recommended to gain more knowledge about the history of Wayang and more.

Not a big museum compared to some museums in Kota Tua area. It has wide variants of Wayang. You could find some cute dolls to horrifying horror dolls over there. It has quite cool temperature and the design inside is quite good as well. The toilet is also looks great and clean

Nice place to hangout with ur family. Maybe the ticket price is a bit expensive. But it's already includes a life jacket for children, and swimming tires. The price of food and beverage is also quite cheap. Mineral water only 10K, snack 15k, beer 25k, pizza 60k.

Very good place to bring your kids or yourself to play water. Try to come in weekdays instead of weekend. Since the crowded would make the excitement , this place maintained really well. But some parts already not function but the main attraction quite interesting to try. Recommended

Always have a great time when you're here. This place has lots of pool & slides options for kids, teen and adults. When you plan to come here, browse ticket promo from the internet. There are lots of promos there.

Great place, They have 6 major areas which you can try all of them. Make sure you are using clothes that can slip and I suggest to use a but closed one (such as diving suit) to protect you from fraction with the plastic No food & drink from outside and also no camera when sliding. Food & drink are expensive inside, you can rent a locker for 25k (1 bag) or 50k (2-3 bags). For the bathroom, i personally don’t like it since one side of the bathroom have no wall and exposed to outdoor

A great waterpark that's well-maintained, clean and well-organized. Towels, lockers and gazebo's are available for rental. You can also buy shampoo and soap for the showers (showers are available for free). Prices are pretty reasonable with promotions/discounts if you pay with certain bank cards. The price of food was pretty good (we were able to buy a box of KFC 1-piece chicken with rice and small soda for 35,000 rupiah). Line-ups for the slides were very short, even for the bigger rides except for the "Hairpin" ride where the line-up was about 20 minutes. Our daughter really enjoyed the "lazy river" and the kid slides along with the huge "bom blazter" bucket. A great place for a family to spend an entire day.

Awesome water park. Some really good slides, lots of fun. You can do all the slides fairly quickly but can obviously go on them as many times as you like. Good restaurants inside the park and lovely staff.
