Kacaba Vineyards and Winery came highly recommended but left us slightly disappointed. The outdoor setting is beautiful, and the winery offers a good selection of Shiraz. That being said, the indoor decor, tasting setup and wine descriptions (staff knowledge) left us a bit underwhelmed…

This place is excellent. My wife and I are not big wine drinkers but we checked out Kacaba Vineyard as we were visiting the wine region of Ontario; wow!! The place itself is serene and the staff are passionate and knowledgeable about the product. A special acknowledgment must go to Charles who shared his enthusiasm for wine with us and helped us appreciate the craft. A must see in the Niagara region!

Our previous visit to Kacaba was during a period of covid restrictions, so it was super to be back when the full great experience was available. They have a spacious bright tasting room/event space on two levels in the main hall, and a private room is also available. Lots of outdoor spaces for visits on the warmer months. Our visit this time was related to our membership at another nearby winery, Commisso, whose club includes partnerships with a number of nearby wineries for tastings. Kacaba has a lot to offer! Among the three of us, we tasted most of the menu and had a lovely visit with the staff member. My top two were the Reserve Reisling and, of course Joanne's Blend (sparkling!). My partner and our companion were both quite pleased with multi-award winning Syrah Reserve and Meritage Reserve. All in all, it was a great way to have spent a dreary December afternoon.

My husband and I booked a tasting here back in Oct 2021 as a wedding anniversary gift. Everything from our host to the wine yard to the wines themselves, was amazing! We got our membership right on the spot and have been enjoying the tastiest wine being send to us every month ever since. Would recommend without hesitation and would go back for another tasting as soon as we can travel again.

We chose the self-guided wine tasting and enjoyed a flight each on the Adirondack chairs in the vinyard. We thought it was very relaxing and good value. The flight with four 3oz glasses was $15. There was also the option to do a guided tasting for $25 each and you can then subtract the cost of the tasting from your two bottle purchase.

The wine and the service were amazing! Jess knew the wines inside out, and tailored our tasting to our preferences. All of the staff were kind and accommodating.

Charles gave us an outstanding wine tasting today! All the 2020 wines are fantastic at Kacaba. I recommend anyone who want a great wine tasting to go to Kacaba.

We were extremely disappointed with their "vegan food and wine event". The photos showed these big portions of food on plates, and this is what we got :/ We didn't eat before hand intentionally (and spoke to others who said the same... that they were super disappointed that they had to pay to go for dinner after). The food was room temperature, the wine was okay, but my partner doesn't drink and just came for the food. Very misleading advertising. Left after 20 minutes. Could have been so much more- a big meal where vegans could eat and chat. bummer!

Went to try a few wines after having their Syrah wines recommended by a friend. Dave took care of us. Of the 10+ years I've been going to Niagara this was one of the best experiences we've had and the wines were absolutely top shelf. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent reds, especially the Syrahs. Their tasting menu is a little pricey for the pour that you get, and really forces you to buy two of the wines to make it worthwhile. While the product is good, I don’t get the welcoming feel that we’ve had at other, small boutique wineries in the area. The server was very good, and knowledgeable, and didn’t push too hard. Not sure we’ll be back.

The tasting experience is amazing. Joe is an amazing person and keeps a very interesting conversation while shows all the wines they have. All the staff at the winery is helpful and if you do the tasting, then you get a discount at purchasing their wine. I will always come back with friends.

Awful experience - would give 0 stars if I could. We came on Sunday during the rain storm. The staff was not interested in helping us even though the place was empty. We ordered 3 flights of wine and then were escorted to a random back room in their facility that looked like it was used for events. Room was a hot mess - tables and chairs kind of everywhere, very cafeteria like. We were not seen again by a staff member. We were told nothing about the wine. My friend got up at one point to ask for water and see if there was food available to purchase and we were told there was zero food available to purchase anywhere at the winery. Literally not even a bag of pretzels. We did not finish our flights and when we were leaving, we noticed other people enjoying tastings out in an open room. Unsure why we were not offered this. Wine was mediocre, maybe would have enjoyed it with better ambiance.

We had an amazing experience with wine tasting. The gentleman that served us was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. Their wine is good to. I don't drink red but he found one that I actually would drink. Thanks

Great Winery to visit for friends. Guided wine tasting 7 days a week from 11 am to 5 pm. Different kinds of wines to taste. Wine tasting fees are redeemable with any 2 bottle purchase of wine. I recommend everyone to visit this vineyard and winery. Close to major highway easy to access. Enjoy it.

I became a club member a few months ago, and couldn’t be more pleased. The winery treats club members very well, the wines are delicious, and if you’re lucky enough to have Colin to guide you through your wine tour, you will never be disappointed! Colin’s expertise and outgoing personality make you want to come back again and again!

We went to our reservation for a tasting January 11. Cathy Roy had such nice manners to meet us out front and welcomed us inside for our tasting. The wines we tried, mostly red, and the Chardonnay were delicious! Cathy had time, knowledge and friendliness to give us a very pleasant experience. Thank you Cathy, you made a difference.

A great experience was had this oast weekend’s wine tasting. Excellent food pairings with Irish fare that included potato leek soup, cabbage latke/pancakes, and brazed beef. Serving staff were excellent, highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

You know it’s going to be a fantastic wine tasting when the host walks towards you to greet you warmly to their winery. Jessica was an absolute gem, and was so very knowledgable and friendly. I would highly recommend you give this place a visit!

Picturesque food, wine and view. We booked the patio for a group of 6, ordered 5 glasses of wine and 2 dishes (even after a full lunch). 5 star for all food, wine and service! We’ll be visiting next time for a flight tasting. Recommend the reserved risieling for sweet wine lovers. 2019 pinot noir has a complex flavour as European wine. We bought 5 bottles of takeaway.

Gorgeous patio experience overlooking the vineyard and escarpment. Meghan was our server today and she was an absolute gem. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the wine menu was very versatile. I highly recommend the waffle mess - the basil added an intriguing twist to a very sweet food palette. The frozen wines are also a must-have for summer. Whether it's a day out with the girls, or a romantic date, this patio is the place to be!

Beautiful dinner at Megalomaniac. Yes this place has a stunning restaurant with a beautiful view of the winery. Perfect casual seating and atmosphere we were seated on time and promptly. Our waitress was really nice and friendly. We got our orders in and everything came out on time and plated beautifully. Every dish was very tasty and perfectly prepared. The four of us took the tasting menu which was 3 courses. Under $100 with wine. My favorite was the short rib which was one of the best I have had in a while. Dessert was a yummy cheesecake or chocolate cake for us and we were all so happy with my meal. Unfortunately there is no full bar for dinner and a selection of only around 10 wines to have with dinner. Another disappointment was that there was no coffee, espresso or tea with dessert. Overall the food was 5 star, 5 service, atmosphere was 5. For a casual seating dinner I was very impressed. Highly recommend and I will be back.

Its a blessing to have such beautiful bounty right at our finger tips in Ontario. The vineyards are lined up with such care and attention to precision...Reminded me of cornrows (the hairstyle). The tour guide Jeff was so nice and amicable...I recommend visiting. They also make award winning wine...the only nit picking otem is that I think they should have top class French fries and coffee to go with there top tier Porketta sandwich and Chocolate Cake 😋

The food FANtastic! Everything was really fresh and delicious, the portions were perfect and prices were reasonable. The wine choices are abundant and the pairing suggestions are also cleverly made. The shops sells a variety of products other thank drinks and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only unpleasant thing was that we visited on the weekend and it was really crowded. Specially if you want to sit in the hall to eat, there's too much noise and echoing because of how the hall is built. Everything else? Class A!

Great view, good food, Orecchiette was great, Shrimp tacos went damp and soggy in very short order but still tasted great. Average wines, wine by the glass, is a tad overpriced. I guess you are paying for the location. Would go here again.

Delightful visit to Megalomaniac Wines this afternoon. Each of us had a flight of three wines, covering most of the tasting menu. I really loved Sparkling Personality (I have a great fondness for sparkling wines like Cava from Spain). Today's foggy conditions obscured the views, and it was a tad chilly for the patio, but I'm imagining a return in warm weather to enjoy the view from the patio. The menu had some delicious sounding options at the restaurant, which might be on the return visits agenda as well. The tasting room and retail space are very spacious, bright, and welcoming. A great place to visit all year, and it's sure to be even better when summer returns. Summer sun, sparkling wine and a patio - sounds perfect.

We had a late lunch at Megalomaniac Wines a few weeks ago and it was such a beautiful experience. We sat on the patio, what a breathtaking view. The food was delicious and service was great. Will definitely be back.

The winery is amazing with stunning views, the restaurant is fantastic with delicious food, and the wine is delicious and indulgent. My wife and I stopped to have lunch and then did a tasting. We were seating on the patio overlooking the lake with Niagara Falls in the distance. I had the Braised beef dip which comes with a salad and my wife had the ahi tuna tacos and we each had their recommended wine pairing. Service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend both dishes. Once we finished, we did the tasting. The tastings are held in a private glasses room at a long live edge table. There was only my wife and I and one other couple so it was a very small group. I would say the tasting portions were very generous, not your standard 1-2 ounce pours. They have many different wines and you can’t taste them all in one visit so more the reason for repeat visits. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend the to be frank cab franc!

Celebrated a friends 30th birthday at Megalomaniac this past Saturday and the food was incredible! The Bubble Bread was easily the best garlic bread I’ve ever tasted. The shrimp tacos were delicious and the cocktails were so refreshing! The view off the terrace is stunning and a great spot to take some pictures. The only complaint we had was that the service was incredibly slow. I will certainly be back! 5 stars!

What a beautiful space outdoors! Food was flavourful and fresh. We loved the Rosé with the meal! Seemed perfect for the rather warm eve. Views were gorgeous and service was great!

Always a great time and great food at Megalomaniac! The view is the best out of all the regions wineries and on a clear day you can see Toronto across the lake. I’ve visited here during the summer and the fall, absolutely love the patio in the summer, the colours in the fall are gorgeous! Inside seating it’s very nice as well with the chandeliers. The service is on par and the “frose” wine slushy is a must have in the hot summer time. Mimosas are amazing as well. Their food menu is great and has alot of options. Never disappointed when I come here.

Went here on Thanksgiving day with my family. They were so accommodating and added on a wine tasting to our walking tour. Our host, Alan, was so amazing and made the whole experience so much better. The walking tour was the highlight of the day with getting to taste the ripe grapes from the stem!! Thanks again Alan (hope I got the spelling of your name right!)

INCREDIBLE experience!! Cannot wait to return. Great service, great wine, amazing views, and the most incredible food!!! Went for a wine tasting during the day and decided to go back for dinner. The bubble bread was to die for and so was the lobster crusted salmon. A must visit for sure!! Went back two weeks later to have the bubble bread AGAIN!!! It was worth the 2.5 hour drive. Will be back in the fall to view the beautiful fall colours from that amazing view. Amazing place

We keep going back because it's such an outstanding place! The food is great. The wine is great. The views are exceptional. The service was great. It's a beautiful place. Such a great experience. Hard to duplicate. Reservations recommended. Oh my gosh..try the Foie Gras appetizer. It's a shareable. Decadence.

Beautiful and luxurious! Pulling up with the vineyard on both sides and the venue above on the hill was stunning. Interior was modern and beautiful. We had a large group and sat on the patio. There is no wine tasting or wine flights available there but we ordered bottles and the waitress so kindly brought enough glasses for us to do our own tasting. Delicious wine was a bonus!

Wonderful experience. Beautiful view from the dining room overlooking the vineyard. Mimosa and Bellini were both very good. Bubble bread is to die for! Waffles were amazing, and Vegan Shakshuka was very tasty. Only thing we didnt love was the Coconut Pannacotta. It had a ton of cherries and crumble on top that took away from the Pannacotta itself. Would definitely return.Beautiful spot with impeccable service!

WOW!!! This place is phenomenal. We came here as a stop on a Guess Where trip. The outside and inside is quaint and pretty. We sat inside. The winery is open and full of light. The staff were beyond helpful and kind. One of them even came to chat with us and explain about the soils in the area and how the climate affects the wine making. We tried a sampler plus an additional little glass of wine. They were all wonderful. My person favourite was the Riesling. We also got a side of fries (so good!!) the staff joked that people come for the wine, and stay for the fries. I would highly recommend coming here. Everything about the visit was amazing. We will definitely be coming back!!

My wife and I are new residents to the area, but have frequented Niagara for years. We have been to many of the local wineries, both in NOTL and in the Bench, and this was our first visit to Creekside. We were very pleased and even impressed with the wine, the winery and the staff. The main are is nicely laid out, with a great deck at the back, that can hold probably upwards of 40 people. We had a tasting of excellent wines, led by Isabel, our server, who was incredibly helpful. We followed up with a glass each. It was late in the afternoon of a very sunny and warm Sunday, and made for a wonderful experience. We will return.

I was there on Saturday with my best friend Mirjana, and Kale was our server. She went above and beyond to make sure our experience was nothing but extraordinary. She was so knowledgeable about the different wines and such a bright presence. I mentioned that I had loved a previous orange wine and found out that we were two weeks to early for the next release which was a huge bummer. She obviously understood that I was disappointed and went out of her way to get us a sample and sell us a couple bottles before the official release. She is one of the many reasons why I always make sure to visit Creekside when I come to town. Thank you Kale for the best time!

It’s a cute place and the charcuterie board was delicious! The only downside was that we didn’t pick our wine. The wine was ok, not my favorite. Either way, we got it as complimentary bc of our airbnb. You can’t beat that! It seems like every winery around the area closes at 6pm even on a Friday.

Had a lovely afternoon on their patio. My wife and I sampled two of their flights and they had many delicious wines (especially Laura's Red). The service was exceptional as well! We can't wait to visit again.

I visited Creekside Estate Winery a couple months ago and had the best time. I really am hoping to go back this summer to re-experience it, and see the beautiful patio in colour! My bf and I both ordered a flight of wines and got the charcuterie board. Aside from loving the wine and having generous pours, everything was also very reasonably priced and the service was great. We visited early spring and even though the patio was closed the staff still let us sit out there which was so nice.

Love Love Love!! We had an incredible experience, the wines were exceptional and the server (I regret not getting his name) was outstanding. Thank you for the hospitality, we are looking forward to visiting again soon.

I went because other wineries suggested their sparkling wines....and they were delicious! But, I tasted several other wines and fell in love with the Syrah, which was a pleasant surprise because I generally only enjoy Ontario white wines. My host was so lovely, and I am excited to go back to try more wine, and enjoy the patio and events this summer.

We stopped in on Ice Wine Festival weekend, but once our tasting/pairing was done, our group of 10 decided to stay for further tastings. Our host James was wonderful - friendly, chatted with us while managing all our requests, very informative. Very interesting wines. We bought chardonnay and rose to take home. We'll be back next time we're in NOTL!

Thoroughly enjoyed a Saturday afternoon here. Their reds were quite impressive. Pat was very knowledgeable, we learned a lot not just about the wines but also the wine club. We look forward to the events they have coming up. Highly recommend this winery!

Love this place! Been CreekFreaks for a few years now and love the ambiance and crew here. Experienced a vintage cellar event today followed by a great lunch on the patio! We have come here twice in the last month to eat lunch and have an early dinner. The food is amazing! The beef brisket is some of the best I've had and the fries are also very enjoyable (my Son and I ordered this both times we went). My wife and daughter loved the flat bread mushroom pizza and the lentil salad with grainy mustard and buttermilk dressing! The staff have been wonderful and their service is great! It's worth the drive from Stoney Creek for a quiet place with amazing food...we will be back again for sure!

We enjoyed our experience here at Tawse Winery. Not only do they have wines but also spirits as well. The wine tasting was fun with our knowledgeable host as was the gin and tonic that I partook in. The grounds themselves were beautiful and the little goats were fun to play with. I hope to return again soon. 👍😎

Had an awful experience here with staff that are completely uninterested in serving customers. Good wineries don't nickle and dime you and worry about how much you have sampled. They show you the good wine to get customers to buy it. This place does not do that. They gave us a flight and sat us far away from anyone that can talk about their wines. I wouldn't even call this a tasting. Wine wasn't good either. By far the worst tasting experience I have had in a very long time. Don't waste your time here.

Went with my friend back in March. The staff were great a 5/5 for them. It is unfortunate that they've discontinued the icewine production due to weather change which is a shame because their 2013 Chardonnay Icewine is pretty much their gift from heaven up there (apple, pear, honey with a very good acidity so it doesn't cloy). It is a once in a few decade vintage, and now it's no longer available. (Hence, minus 1 star. Haha) The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon icewine: also a bargain ( cherry, raspberry, etc) but hard to compare to 2013. Had to bottle decant it for at least 1hr before it started to open up. 2019 Tintern Pinot Noir: it's a medium body pinot noir with mineral, cherry, white pepper. A solid 91 points. 2021 Cherry avenue: weaker intensity than the 2019 probably due to the weak vintage.

Great winery, loved their rose, cab sauv, and they sell bitters too! Friendly knowledge staff, highly recommend this winery!!🥰

We did a tour with Rheal and we were NOT disappointed! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and gave us a great tour, complete with a visit to see Donkey. Really loved the Chardonnay and the sparkling Riesling. We will definitely be back, and came home with a few bottles.

What an experience at the winery this weekend. To kick the season off Ridel had a wine experience in one of the cellar tasting rooms. Understanding the difference between one glass and another and why it matches the particular wine. Such a mind-blowing experience. Not to mention that Tawse has one of the best organic wines in the Niagara region. It is a beautiful opportunity to spend a few hours enjoying wine and getting a lesson at the same time. Highly recommended. Tawse is known for their whites and reds which are very notable. The Meritage is my favorite. They're sparkling wines are also highly recommend.

Tawse Winery is a great spot to spend an afternoon if you are in the area. They have a large selection of wine, cider, and liquor. Their wine flights are very reasonably priced (approx. $18 for 4 wines) and they also have a nice selection of unique jams for purchase (for example: apple whiskey flavored jam or spice ice wine jam). It's a beautiful winery with plenty of seating available when we were there.

The worst winery experience I had in Niagara. The Pinot Gris taste like vinegar, Riesling has a bizarre hint of tannin. Felt improperly stored and served. And the Gamay is just not balanced, way too much Tannin for a light body wine. And the Gin is worse then Gordon's.

Did a small tasting, the staff was friendly and super informative and helpful. The wine was good, and we left with some good pairing suggestions.

Wines are good, but a bit pricey. The highlight is the view (and the goats of course). The first lady who attended us was great, however, the another one in the check-out provided a terrible service, trying to multi-task, made mistakes in our bill and not friendly at all.

We really enjoy our visit to Tawse Winery. We booked a library tasting and had a great experience. The cheese plate was delicious, the wines we tasted were something I never tried before. We also had a couple drinks on their garden patio which I really loved. There was also live music which was right what was needed for such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. We will certainly come back!

Amazing wine tasting experience with exceptional customer service. Fabian was very knowledgeable and helpful with assisting me in picking out which wine to take home. Beautiful place, and really enjoyed my time there. Highly recommend to everyone doing wine tours to stop by. I will definitely be going back!

What a great winery, amazing wines and the service is top notch. We were there last Saturday and we were lucky enough to have Fabian (owner?) introduce us to the winery, he has extensive knowledge of the wines and the history of the grapes. He introduced me to the Graspa and I had to buy a bottle. The antipasto board is the best I had in a while. We were made to feel welcomed and special with Fabian's joyful personality. Thank you

Great tasting experience at Vieni this weekend. Sat outside to enjoy the Spring sunshine and enjoyed a tasting of some very good wines. My wife enjoyed the Sparking flight and I had the Premium flight. The Moscato and Momenti were memorable in the Sparkling flight. I really enjoyed the Chardonnay and the Apassimento was worthy of its premium price. Nice experience.

My girlfriend and I came here as part of a 4 stop wine tour and Vieni Estates was undoubtedly the highlight of them all. Very friendly and knowledgeable workers that explained the differences between the wines we were tasting and of course delicious wine! Our favourite was the Cabernet sparkling ice wine, our favourite ice wine we’ve ever had!

Good views, great patio seating, large vineyard for photos and good grapes are here…. However, they can improve on their tour by explaining the different varieties of wine with additional available tastings. Overall, the experience was good.

I had the pleasure of visiting Vieni Estate Winery while attending a wedding recently. Every aspect of the wedding was beautiful and every detail attended to. I also visited the tasting room prior to the wedding and was attended to by Fabian. His knowledge of the wines was extensive and his personal touch added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend the Aglianico and the Reserve Merlot, both suggested by Fabian. I went home with 4 bottles, and would highly recommend Vieni (and Fabian) for an awesome wine tasting experience.

My wife and I went on Sunday afternoon for a play(It’s a wonderful life) and a meal. The play was well put together and very entertaining. The meal was out of this world, we both had the steak which was melt in your mouth good. The service was very good. One thing I would recommend is leave the water jugs on the table and the coffee/tea out for people during the play. Thank you and keep up the great work. The Burke’s

Our daughter had a wedding here. Not cheap. Catering was great! Wine was great! Great bartenders and bus driver. Loved the atmosphere. Highly recommend it! A bit of a pain with accomodation. Hotels are a healthy bus ride away which adds to logistics complexity and costs!

I love Vieni wines. Always recommend this winery for those that are looking for a great sparkling. Unfortunately, today I went in, there were no other guests there and three young girls behind the bar. I was said hello to which was nice but that was about it. I walked over to the wines and looked around for a bit (I already knew what I wanted to get) but not one of those ladies asked if I needed help with anything or wanted to sample anything new. No customer service was had. I still purchased the wines because they were gifts but I am sorely disappointed in the non existent service I got. They proceeded to look on their phones and I left.

We thought it would be nice to go back to Vieni for a wine tasting. We had really enjoyed our last visit. Once again it was a fun experience. We met Brodie as we arrived and he set us up for a tasting. It was all very good so we tried a few other wines in addition to our flight. Brodie introduced us to a few wines we had not tried before. Needless to say they were all good. We headed home with a good supply and will visit again soon.

I was introduced to this wonderful vineyard by a friend who knows the master wine maker Since then I have been back one to two times a year and usually go home with a case of yummy wines Honestly, it’s a hidden gem that offers great tasting variety of wines This past summer I was also there for a wedding and this place did not disappoint. Beautiful barn style venue It also has an air bnb on site as well!! Definitely a must stop if you are touring the wonderful Niagara vineyards

Attended a wedding on Friday night and visited the winery on Sunday for a partial wine tasting. The wedding venue is incredible and historic. Foods served at the reception were Italian inspired and delicious. The late night pizza was special and cooked in the winery’s famed pizza oven. Our wine tasting experience included a few of the engaging staff assisting as we arrived quite early. Brodie had served me prior to the wedding ceremony and I promised to return for a true tasting of their superb selection of reds. Brodie knows his stuff and provided helpful insights.

Great spot for a nice glass of wine and peaceful atmosphere. Brodie my server, was beyond amazing. Knew his wine and could tell me every fine detail about it. I highly recommend him if you ever decide to stop by Vieni. There was also a wedding happening at the time, it looked beautiful. Finally was able to visit Vieni and our first interaction and first impression was welcoming and inviting. Brodie welcomed us and quickly offered options on tastings and offerings. This type of service is what makes the total experience when you visit. We will definitely be back not only for the great wines and other beverages but also for the great customer service. Thank-you Brodie for making this visit a special one.

My favourite Winery and always amazing service. Very welcoming, great views and love the wine. Tasting for three outside on our last visit. Always learning and Tate is the best! I can't wait to visit again soon!

We had a lovely experience at Flat Rock Cellars with or server Tate. First the view was spectacular and the building was really cooler with floor to ceiling windows showing off the vineyards and even the Toronto Skyline across the lake. The tasting was reasonably priced (4 wines for $20) with a nice variety of options. We tasted sparking, rose, Riesling, and their Chardonnay. We were pleasantly surprised with the rose and it was our favorite! Although I have a personal aversion for Chardonnay I tasted theirs and completely understood the award winning level it has achieved. Tate gave us a tour of their new seating area available to reserve for events (up to 50 people) or overflow tasting space in the busy season. We also saw the wine making area where he explained the gravity style they make the wine in. Overall a great experience. Definitely a must stop on your Ontario wine tour.

Great views. Customer service was really top notch here - very impressed by the staff. The Gewurztraminer was my personal favorite of the wines on offer, though there's lots to like about everything here.

I'd highly recommend the Backstage Tour. In addition to enjoying their award-winning wine, we moved from "stage to stage" to learn different grapes, soil and landscape affects the process and product. Tyra was so patient with all our questions. It's a beautiful winery with great views and a fun upbeat vibe.

This is one of the best winery experiences that I have ever had!!! I went this past Sunday and the man and woman that we dealt with were so kind and welcoming. The seating area looking out at the vineyards is absolutely fabulous. Our server (a lady Im sorry I do not remember her name!) was amazing and really took her time to explain every wine to us and ask us about our experience. I have also never been able to do a wine and cheese tasting without a reservation before!!! So fun and convenient to be able to just walk in and do this!! Such an incredible experience.

The service and entire experience here were awful. They completely ruined the celebratory occasion of our bachelorette. The server was ignorant and incompetent. She spilled more wine than she served. She poured one wine into another in the same glass? The pours were SO SMALL that you couldn't even tell if you liked the wine? The bride's pour was so small at one point that a guest went inside and bought her a whole glass....it was EMBARRASSING!! She spilled on our guests repeatedly. There was no wine introduction, they just stuck a card on the table. The Manager didn't care?? We went to two other wineries that day - Vieni Estates and Malivoire Winery and both were absolutely FANTASTIC!! Honestly, don't go here if you are having a good time, it will ruin your day!

This was a really unique experience. The shop is at the top of a hill and they have seating that overlooks the landscape where you can sit enjoy an excellent wine while taking in all the views!

Visited eight wineries over two days and Flat Rock Cellars had the best view all. You could see all the way across Lake Ontario to the CN tower. At this cellar you will find an excellent selection of award winning wines to boot. Had great conversations with employees on several occasions. It was harvest time and you could watch the field workers picking and sorting the grapes outside and in processing. Enjoyed a walk down to the small man made lake. I was told this was where the cellars ground geothermal system was located for all the facility including the refinery. Would recommend putting this winery visit on your list.

Have an amazing experience in the afternoon on a Saturday - came for a tasting without reservation, and had no issue getting in. Moreover, mid December they have opened their new tasting room which had plenty of space and we were surprised to be the first to use on the first day! Wines were phenomenal, mainly tried reds but also had whites. PTG and Pinor Noir hifhly recommended, as well as the Sauvignon Blanc! Price definitely worth it.

I have been a Flat Rock wine club member for many years, and I know some of their most closely-guarded secrets. Here's my favourite two: 1) there are usually two hidden waterfalls on the property (except when it's really dry). You are welcome to buy a glass of wine and take it out exploring to find them. (Hint - one is beside the only southward-oriented slope on the 20 Mile Bench. I am also pointing at it with my glass in the first pic. The other is above some giant limestone rocks covered in thick moss near a bridge). Bring a sandwich, the mossy rocks are a great spot for a little picnic. 2) there are smallmouth bass in the pond, and you can catch them easily using a bit of hot dog weiner as bait. You might have to compete with a blue heron, a bald eagle, or a cute but fierce muskrat for the best fishing spot, though. BONUS SECRET #3) Nadja's Vineyard (directly to the left of the driveway as you drive in) produces the best Riesling in Ontario. Why? Only 2 acres of 20 year old Weis clone 21B Riesling vines growing on only 1.5 feet of soil just barely covering all that delicious dolomitic limestone AND a gentle gravity flow process that keeps all those resulting complex natural esters, terpines, and phenols intact and inside the wine where they belong! That's why! Don't believe me? TRY IT YOURSELF, IT'S FREAKIN INCREDIBLE!

We attended a tasting and tour with 8 in our group this past weekend (Sept 9/23). Everything from the wine sampled to our tour guide - Tate - was excellent! Seeing behind the curtain and learning about the sustainability aspect of things was fascinating and made me appreciate the product even more. The facility was super cool and the grounds were gorgeous. Flat Rock Cellars is a “some where ness” member which I also loved hearing about. Our group threw some curve ball questions at Tate and he never flinched once. It was a great experience without being bougie and pretentious. Everything was explained to us conversationally and in great detail. We took home bottles of both Riesling and Chardonnay. Would definitely recommend taking a tour if you get the chance! 🥂 #TateRocks

Awesome tour of the vineyard and winery, including a tasting of 3 different wines. Our tour guide Kelly was so knowledgeable about all aspects of grape farming, harvesting, and wine making. Truly one of the best wine tours we've taken. The winery also offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding farmlands and Lake Ontario. Would highly recommend

This is such a beautiful winery. We stopped here on a wine tour in June and I went back to restock again today. Well worth the 3 hr drive from home. Give it a try if you haven't! Their twisted blends are amazing!

I really enjoyed the winery tasting room. My wife and I visited on June 4th around 2:00pm. It was quiet inside and we were seated at the bar. You can select a sampling of 4 wines for $20. Our server was very nice and gave us a nice balance of attention and time to just enjoy the wine. Both Rieslings and the Gewürztraminer were great is you like whites. The estate Cabernet franc and the La Penna are great reds. We went home with 8 bottles. We will definitely be back.

Great experience at the tasting bar with Sherry yesterday! We floated over from our Spa treatments at Inn on the Twenty and Sherry gave us a glass of sparkling wine and the benefit of her wine expertise. Just the right combination of friendly and informative - so much so that we signed up for the Wine Club - thanks Sherry!

Great experience at the Cave Spring Winery tasting room! Beautiful place and the wines were fantastic. Their Gewurztraminer Estate and Gamay are among our favourites. We were hosted by Laura and Leigh who were both wonderful and welcoming, many thanks.

Tasting room was perfect. Not busy and got one-on-one attention with a staff member. 4 tastings for $20 and wonderful wine. Tons available for purchase. This is by far my favourite wine in Niagara!

We had a great experience here, with a really helpful staff member who walked us through our tasting. The tasting flight was a little expensive, but factoring in the tutorial that we received, it was worth it. I found the wines quite good, in particular the Cabernet Franc. The room itself is beautiful, and with a generous capacity. It’s different to visit a tasting room in a town, as opposed to the actual farm, but it does have certain advantages on convenience. And Jordan is quite the quaint little town, so definitely worth the afternoon to visit. We will definitely return.

We got married at the Barn at Cave Springs and it was amazing! It was catered through Inn on the twenty and people loved the food and wine. Highly recommend, it was an incredible space to have our wedding with the nicest staff.

Difficult to find, not the friendliest service. You are not permitted to try wines in the lcbo which was disappointing. A sample of 3 wines was $7.

We had a nice time in the wine tasting room, it's quiet. We have been twice now, very similar both times. Truly minimal interaction with the server, which might be what you are looking for. 1 flight, 4 wines. As others have said, there isn't much explanation about the wines, so I wouldn't expect that from your visit. My husband likes their white, so we will return.

I want to start with an apology: I arrived 5 minutes before closing. What can you expect when arriving so late? Usually, you can hear... we have already closed; the last call was 5 minutes ago... etc. Luckily, this is not the case. Special thanks to the staff who provided me with proper wine tasting. You guys are amazing. Thank you, I promise you next time I will arrive on time. Cheers. ;)

Fall colours looked beautiful near the Upper falls area. You can enjoy a short hike to both the Lower and Upper falls. As the Twenty Mile Creek is rain-fed, both Upper and Lower falls had no water flowing. So plan to visit during Spring if you are coming here mainly to see the waterfalls. I would also visit again in spring when there is flowing water in both falls. Admission is $8/adult and maximum $24 per car. Lots of parking is available.

Ball's Falls Conservation Area is a beautiful place to visit. Easy trail to visit both the upper fakls and lower falls which is only a few hundred yard apart.

Nice place. When i visit fall didn't have much water though. The board near ball's fall ( weird name.. who named this... lol) said it will take 30 min to lower falls and 90 min to upper falls. We visit both places ( walking) under 40 mins. Someone gotta fix the timing on welcome board...

I recently visited Angels Gate Winery with my family, hoping for an enjoyable wine-tasting experience. However, what we encountered was a series of disappointments and rude behavior from a staff member named Jada. Firstly, I must address the misleading information provided on Angels Gate's website and Instagram page. As a large group, we were excited to read that walk-ins were welcome, and that they accommodated groups of six for the "tasting experience." Regrettably, this turned out to be far from the truth. Upon arrival, Jada greeted us with a dismissive attitude and implied that our presence was not desired. It was disheartening to be made to feel unwelcome, especially after making an effort to abide by their stated policies. Despite the initial encounter, we decided to proceed with our visit, as time was limited and we hoped the situation would improve. However, further frustrations arose when my sister-in-law and I approached the bar at 4:23 PM to order another glass of wine. Astonishingly, Jada outright refused to serve us, claiming that wine by the glass had just stopped being served. This was despite the fact that it was only 4:25 PM, a full five minutes before the stated cutoff time of 4:30 PM. The inconsistency in enforcing their policies was glaring, as we witnessed a subsequent group of five people being served wine by the glass without any issues. This discrepancy made me question whether it was truly about the policies or if it was a matter of personal preference for the staff. Researching further, I discovered similar complaints from other patrons on Google Reviews, suggesting a pattern of selective treatment based on the whims of the staff. It is highly disappointing to learn that a winery, which should be synonymous with warmth and hospitality, would allow such discriminatory practices to tarnish their reputation. While I understand that not every customer can be pleased, the lack of professionalism displayed by Jada was unacceptable. Her condescending and dismissive attitude left a lasting impression, one that has compelled me to voice my dissatisfaction and share this negative review. Whether she is an owner or not, her behavior conveyed a sense of entitlement that overshadowed any positive aspects of the winery. As a result of this regrettable experience, I will not be returning to Angels Gate Winery, nor will I recommend it to others. I believe that a winery should be a place of enjoyment and relaxation, and it is disheartening to see such potential squandered by unprofessional staff and inconsistent policies. I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards rectifying these issues, as I believe every customer deserves fair treatment and a genuine appreciation for their patronage.

Tried to visit this vinery on April 30th. Phoned ahead as we had 7 women in a limo. The Frontline staff ( a woman ) who answered the phone was the rudest person I have ever spoken to. My daughter tried speaking to her first and then handed the phone to me. She was very short verbally and didn't answer our questions. We all decided we do not want to support a company with rude staff!!

Some girlfriends and I were celebrating a birthday last weekend and stopped into this winery. Unfortunately, our experience was AWFUL. We felt like the employees were rushing us out of there the minute we stepped in because we had arrived at 4:10pm. We weren’t allowed to have a glass of wine, but they served us a flight. While we were leaving around 4:45pm, the girls bought some bottles and we heard the older female employee with shorter hair mumbled under her breath that she hated large groups. If this is the type of person representing your brand and company, I’d really reconsider why she is working there. Our entire group was completely respectful and not some sort of rowdy bachelorette party. We did nothing wrong. Once I heard that comment, I returned my bottles on the shelf and took my business elsewhere. I will never go back to this winery or buy this brand because of the customer experience.

This is a beautiful winery full of amazing bottles of wine! Our hostess was Jada and her knowledge of the wines we tried were phenomenal! We ended up purchasing a case of assorted wines that we fell in love with. We can’t wait to come back again. Go here if you get a chance!

The sparkling Sauvignon Blanc was one of the best wines I’ve ever enjoyed! Stunning grounds, beautiful building. Tastings only indoors, but tables to enjoy a glass outdoors.

Absolutely beautiful place to stop in and do a wine tasting. Josh was incredibly helpful to orient me to their offerings, and all staff were fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised how affordable the wines were after tasting; they offer an incredibly atmosphere with even better value.

I've been touring wineries in this region for several years and Angels Gate has consistently impressed me with their wine and their service. They are among a small number of wineries offering appassimento wines and they pull this style off remarkably well. For the white wine and sparkling wine fans, they have released some of the most interesting whites I've had the pleasure of tasting. Their staff always treats me and my friends exceptionally well. Particularly this one young fellow who's always willing to share his passion for wine with me. He once challenged me to a blind tasting of their reds and I was somehow able to pick the correct wine. It was the most fun I've had at a tasting anywhere (I forget his name, unfortunately). I encourage you to ignore the small number of one-star reviews left (almost entirely) by large groups of people coming in late. I've been touring wineries long enough to know how rowdy some groups can get after a full day of wine tastings. I've never witnessed a host being rude (at any winery in this region, to be honest) but I've definitely seen some hosts being abused by rude customers. Luckily these occurrences are rare.

Came here for a quick stop for a flight of wine. Great landscape and setting, pretty inside, good service. Purchased some of their dressings and marmalades and can't wait to try them :) They offer woodoven pizza outside of covid times

Thirty Bench always puts on a good show. Or guide was Margaret, she was very knowledgeable about the wine and winery itself, and took a good care of the group of twenty. We did the “snowshoe” event in the vineyard, not a lot of snow but who cares. We took time to explore several different lots with varieties of Riesling, Chardonnay, and then winemakers Red which was a blend , with Cab Frank a dominant variety. The tasting quantities are generous. The event ended with a hot soup served by Ravelle, and served at the back outdoor tables. Nice setting, facing west and basking in the January and felt like staying there for hours. Full glass of favourite wine and late harvest Vidal for the end, all included in the $65 price. One of our fav events every year. Great folks.

Small vineyard of the bitten path. As a lovely interior with an interesting and very palatable selection of different kind of wines. They don't necessarily specialize in ice wine like every other vineyards but they do have a lot of wine to contender with. It's a good stop for your wine tour

Thirty Bench is one of the premier wineries in the Niagara Region. They offer a variety of wines with a local flair. They harvest many of their grapes from vines on the property. Their reserve wines are some of the best in the region. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the winery offers some great views of Lake Ontario and the Beamsville Bench.

We had a wonderful experience at Thirty Bench Wine Makers. This place is perfect for wine tasting with its welcoming and cozy ambiance. The outdoor patio is simply outstanding. A great spot to enjoy some fine wine in a beautiful setting!

This was our first of many stops and although it started nicely - I had made 2 reservations as our group was larger but they couldn’t find the 2nd reservation. They still accommodated us which was nice. And only a few wines were available for tasting, we did still enjoy them. Where the experience left me with a sour note was the aftermath. I wanted to become a wineclub member and one of the perks are complimentary tastings. I had already paid but was told that I could get refunded if I join. The store manager also implied that I needed to remain an active member for a year if I wanted to get reimbursed which was not a problem. I have a big 2 wine cellar fridge at home. After signing up for the membership, I was then told that I could no longer get refunded and that it would be for the next tasting. Apparently it’s in their “rules” which the store manager went to review afterwards 🙄 After visiting a few other wineries in the area, I found that it was not common practice. Because if you think about it, what is the difference between signing up just 5mins before payment? The tasting would suddenly become free as it’s the “next” tasting? Wasn’t necessarily the best way to make their their guest feel valued after signing up for an expensive membership. I honestly just think that the manager made up something on the fly because she had trust issues or something. Overall, good wine but limited tasting options and not the best experience when it comes to making their guests feel valued.

We usually visit the Niagara region several times a year and when we do, set up our own tour. Todays was our first visit to this winery. For this tour our group was 7 but included only 4 ‘active’ tasters. This was the third of four winery visits that were completed this trip (Kacaba was the only repeat). The facilities were adequate for the purpose but not particularly impressive one way or the other. We did not make a reservation for this tasting visit and we were taken in upon arrival - excellent. Our server for this visit was very good. The tasting was in the form of a wine flight. Options for the flight were very limited. While she was very knowledgeable with respect to each of the varietal options, the options were very limited. Unlike any winery we have visited in the region, this winery had a plan to welcome children – drink boxes, snacks, books. Very thoughtful – very well done. While the children’s program was very good, the wine experience was not. It is unlikely we will return as there are much better options available in the area.

Beautiful location - the view in the fall is exceptional Their Reisling is delicious - a wide variety of off-dry styles that are a must-visit if you are in the Bench area. Recommend the Steel Post if you prefer a drier version - the Triangle Vineyard has a wonderful pineapple finish on the palate Great little winery in the Niagara Bench area!

My husband and I booked a tasting at Thirty Bench on Feb 10. In the past we have loved their Rieslings and were really looking forward to the visit. We were greeted, shown to a table and given a menu. We chose 4 X 1 oz Rieslings to share. No one ever came over to our table to discuss the wines with us as was the case with all other winery tastings that we booked that weekend. We were not thrilled with any of the wines that we tasted. We were charged $40 for ONE TASTING. That is correct - $40 for 4X1oz samples of wine!. No interaction with us, no discussion, NO EXPERIENCE! We were prepared to pay for the tasting but expected more of an experience for $40. A total ripoff.

Was a really lovely visit. First time here (from BC), was given a very good overview of choices that were fitting to my preferences. There was a sign outside indicating tastings ended at 3 pm, but it was 3:45 when we arrived and we were still able to sample.

The Riesling masters for a reason! I've been honoured to have tried wines from here for over 20 years. Their wines are delicious and age so beautifully. Love the patio addition for serene calm vineyard views.

The people here are amazing (lead by Deb, Sara and Lyndsay) We were celebrating a birthday and they accommodated our group with tables and chairs set up in the back (cellar). We had a great time at this winery and I totally recommend it for their delicious wines and excellent customer service.

So very impressed with the service I received here. Indoor tastings only. Incredibly friendly staff. Since I was traveling alone and driving, I didn’t drink much of my tasting, which were all delicious. When I went to pay, someone came up to the registers and said only charge me half since I barely touched them. I thanked them but said that was unnecessary and I was happy to pay, but they insisted. Very nice.

What a beautiful winery. Stunning grounds, a view of the lake and a beautifully rustic building for tasting! The wines are delicious, award-winning and memorable….on the dryer side (which I love). A jewel in the crown of the Niagara region. Take your wine to the upper level and enjoy the view. Note: an autumn visit will wow you. The entire palette of nature in fall is staggering. Amazing staff, too!

We stopped by for a tasting. Our host was gracious, knowledgeable, and efficient. Out of the six wines we tasted, we found three to be excellent and, of course, purchased bottles of each. Every part of our visit was enjoyable thus the earned five starts.

Beautiful scenic place to do a wine tasting and lunch. Ate lunch on the patio. Ordered a bunch of things to share, the highlights were the watermelon salad, daily pasta and the burrata. Service was top-notch

We had an amazing time at the restaurant. I asked for a special table for my dad’s birthday and we had the best seat in the house. The service and food was exemplary. We highly recommend the chefs Caesar salad and the salmon special. Can’t go wrong with their sauv blanc either. Thank you to everyone for making it a memorable experience! We will be back.

We had brunch outside at the restaurant onsite and the view was beautiful! We enjoyed cappuccinos, antipasto platter, duck & eggs benedict, and seafood omelette. The seafood omelette was surprisingly the best out of everything. Their hollandaise sauce was made with their own riesling which tasted delicious! The staff was also very friendly and professional. The place is on the smaller side which gives you a more intimate experience, I would make reservations before coming. One of the best highlights of our vacation in Canada. Unforgettable dining experience!

Amazing place for a cozy fall afternoon. The decor is nice and stylish, the staff are very attentive and nice, the wines are really good and the Vinyard is picture perfect. If you're in the area, or even if you're not, make sure you pay a visit, you won't regret it.

A must stop to start your wine tour off right. Beautiful property, wines are terrific and I love the barn boutique. Servers are super friendly and accommodating. Many Niagara wine tastings have become impressionable and expensive. You don't feel that here and will enjoy your experience.

Amber always does an exceptional job when I'm there for tasting. She provides a very friendly welcome, great service and is an excellent conversationalist. Peninsula Ridge is my go to. It's close to home, has amazing views, is very reasonably priced, and has a great atmosphere. Thank you to the owner and staff for your consistent dedication to excellence.

Didn't taste this time but had a very good chat with Matt ( their manager on duty). Taught me more about the 2020 vintage and how niche Niagara wine actually is. Many of the goodies don't make it out of the region ( yet alone the province, and overseas). They were also sorting out the grapes by hands too.

Exceptional late release, low/zero dosage sparkling wines. Fruit standards are high and winemaker is not rushing things. These wines reveal craftsmanship by the makers and commitment by the owner. So, why 3 stars??? The owner has a tin ear. For every customer who enjoys structured tastings, another customer is repelled by the refusal to taste by personal selection. The results are in the ratings: great winery consistently down rated for poor cellar door experience. While I appreciate the owner's vision of boutique tastings, I honestly cannot comprehend his eagerness to alienate the many, many people who want to taste the specific wines they have come to evaluate. Stubborn inflexibility is not a virtue in a web connected retail world. So, yes: 3 stars for great wines undermined by a stolid, unaccommodating tasting policy. Please don't explain that you do it because you are small. Plenty of smaller wineries cope effortlessly with ad hoc tastings. I love - love - your excellent sparkling wines. I simply cringe at your hard earned cellar door reviews. Add mine to the list.

Looks like a beautiful spot. Unfortunately any allure of the winery stopped with the staff working. The place was empty, with the next reservation arriving in 35 minutes we were told, but the staff felt they couldn’t accommodate us - not even for a quick glass or to make any purchases. Luckily they’re not the only winery in the area and we were more than happy to take our business elsewhere.

We've been wine enthusiasts in the region for the past 20+ years and have enjoyed seeing Niagara grow in many ways. Hidden Bench, in our opinion, has consistently set the standard for quality wines in Canada. Whenever we have visitors ask or visit, Hidden Bench is our #1 recommendation/destination. We'd put their offerings up against our visits to Napa and Burgundy --- seriously. Harold and his team get it absolutely right from vine to glass. If you're seeking true varietal representation in a non-mass market setting that is both unpretentious and unrivaled , this could the place for you too.

Had a really nice time today sampling some Pinot, Fumé Blanc and Gamay outside on a cool Fall day. They had a nice fire going and met a great family group on a day tour. Great Raclette event with a great take on traditional raclette and wines to taste

I was only making a quick stop, so didn’t get to enjoy their 45 min tasting experience. I did drink a glass on the patio and enjoyed both the wine and the ambiance.

Big fan of their Chardonnay and confident this vineyard is on the ‘up and up’. Can’t wait to return for a proper tasting.

Always a delight when we get to visit this beautiful vineyard and winery. The service is one of a kind, truly unique and a gem of Beamsville. Hadn’t been since the new patio during the pandemic, the amazing new update to the tasting area is incredible. I cannot recommend visiting this winery upon your wine adventure in Niagara. We popped in here last week without reservations and were glad to be seated on the patio. After a few other wineries, we were happy to just have a bit of wine tasting by ourselves with minimal interaction from staff. If that's what you are looking for it's a lovely fit. They also offered free chips and water for my husband who was driving. I tried a nice selection of ice wines.

Malivoire Wine had a great selection wines. By far, the most interesting and intellectual wine tasting we had thus far. We truly enjoyed our discussions with the knowledgeable individual (Collin) guiding us through the experience. Highly recommend!

I have been to Malivoire several times over the years and it never disappoints. Tucked into the side of a hill, it looks like a fortress (or a fancy Hobbit winery), with two rooms (one with a tasting area) and lots of wonderful wines to choose from. There is also an outdoor space as well. Folks that work there are helpful and friendly, and the winery itself is fascinating (it's a gravity-flow winemaking cellar - you should ask about it!) - with lots of wines and some other goodies to purchase. Bonus points for the fact that The Cheesy Guys also tend to be here (you should check them out while you pick out some delicious wines)!

Such a cozy and comfortable spot with the showroom laid up against the winery itself. The staff were all so helpful and a special shout out to Emma, who was so informative, patient and friendly!

Road trip to Niagara with the neighbors. We showed up without an appointment and the staff treated us like family! Darlene was superb! Her presentation and service was absolutely a gold standard. We will be visiting Malivoire again! Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Also kudos to the Cheesy Guys for their world class product!

We had a lovely tasting session with Barb for the four of us. It was relaxed, informative, the wines were excellent and the area was lovely. We will be back.

Over several days doing wine tasting in the Niagara Escarpment Malivoire was by far our favorite. It was a true pleasure to have conversation with someone who was knowledgeable about wines and various regions. The offerings were vast and would satisfy many different palates. We are experienced wine drinkers and have traveled extensively for wine experiences and education. This is a great place to visit for a novice wine drinker or someone wanting to begin the education in wine. Would highly recommend Malivoie - in fact - it's not to be missed!

This is easily one of my favourite wineries. From the moment you arrive, the building looks like somewhere you want to be. Theres a nice sitting area outside, often an outdoor tasting bar, and a little vendor (possibly own by them I'm not sure) that sells cheeses and different pairings. When you go in, you first walk through the store. The store is really well put together, well signed, and there's always soemone available to help. Beyond the store, is the tasting bar. This is a nice spot with lots of products and a view of the upstairs brewery. I did my tasting with Johanna. She, among with the various staff here are always so friendly and knowledgeable. The tasting experience was great and seamless. She was able to answer questions, give us history and info about the winery itself. Just a great experience, and definitely worth a stop of you're passing through, or doing a wine tour. Add this location to your stop for sure.

This was my first time trying Malivoire wines and visiting the winery. I'm so glad I did because I had such a great experience here! My partner and I tried a flight of wine each with the chocolate pairings. The wines had a nice smooth taste and I particularly enjoyed the white wines they had to offer. Crisp, smooth and easy to drink (my favorite was the Melon!). What made this experience stand out was the passion and knowledge the staff had. The person that did our tasting explained each wine in detail, the process that went into making them and even a bit of history! We really appreciated that and can't wait to come back! The complimentary root chips and ice wine sample was a nice touch. This winery is a true gem!

Really great winery! No wonder they have won so many awards. The wine is delicious! We enjoyed the flight tasting and the delicious cheese samples. Truly a must visit when in Niagara.

We came across Malivoire when we first moved down to the Vineland area. Since them this has become a wonderful gem with many great wines - a place you should not miss when in the bench area. We are big fans of their Gamay's and chardonnay. Especially love the Gwertz ice wine (Riesling and Vidal ice wines can get tiresome). This is the first winery I've decided to join a club for and it has been well worth it. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I'm somewhat fussy about my wines, especially those that go in the my cellar. While they may taste good they have to have a good body to make them good wines for all occasion - something I find a lot of Niagara wines miss. I love the body, and nose of all the Malivoire wines I've tasted and expect to continue adding these to my cellar for future enjoyment.

Rosewood has a great selection of tasters and an amazing good menu. They keep a chef and a fromagerie on staff and the attention to detail absolutely shows. The vineyard itself is very well maintained and a gorgeous place to relax and take it all in

So many wineries focus on what others are doing and how they are doing it. Rosewood does its own things its own way. If you like creative genius, you'll love Rosewood. If you like what everyone else is doing in the rat race to produce the latest example of a typical wine, you might not "get" Rosewood. On the other hand, if you let go of the conformity you've been trained to expect, Rosewood will let you discover the joy of fearless originality. You will not, for example, find another Sauvignon Blanc like Rosewood Sauvignon Blanc. Everyone else's is way over on one side. Rosewood's is way over on its own side, merrily treating us to DIFFERENT... and unabashedly beautiful in its own free spirited exuberance.

Really lovely experience dining among the bees and trying the flights. They also have amazing honey, candles and other wares. Beautiful scenic space to relax, have a great meal and sip some drinks. Staff is also great. Love the Blau & Follow the White Rabbit! So good!

Amazing variety of wines to choose from The staff is friendly and courteous. Heather in particular was outstanding in her customer service.She went above and beyond and made our visit memorable. Will certainly visit them again and thanks to Nikki, she is very knowledgeable and helpeful.

Stopped here before for the bottle shop, but it’s the first time we stayed for the actual tasting. Amazing experience throughout. Delicious wines, great snacks/accompaniments (cheese board comes with honeycomb and wild berries from the local woods!), popcorn for the kids, etc. Very friendly and welcoming team. People here seem to be truly enjoying what they’re doing. And this joy shines through. Definitely recommend Rosewood not only for their unique wines, but for the authentic, genuine tasting experience. A kind of business you WANT to support.

Amazing wine and a really great experience! We stopped by for a quick drink. I'd say it was a bit busier than the other wineries in the area. Grabbed a couple of bottles and some really awesome honey on the way out. Highly recommend!

Beautiful estate to visit and their mead is soooo good! I think I’m ready to give up wine for it. Everyone is super friendly and they even have an events room that would be great to host small gatherings. Their honey is also a great deal, we got a 3kg pail for only $45. Highly recommend coming here for a visit!

Great place to sample and buy Mead. You can’t go wrong with the 2020 Legacy Mead! The views (especially during Fall) are spectacular!!

Gorgeous grounds with a stunning interior. Friendly staff quickly seated me on the patio and even did the tasting outdoors. She made some excellent suggestions and even brought an extra small pour of a bottle I was looking to buy as a gift. Excellent visit!

Rosewood produces honey wine, or Mead, that is super special and acts as an inspiring elixir. If you’re in the area be sure to drop by and try a bottle or three…

One of absolute favorite wineries in the NOTL region, not least because they have a meadery, too! The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable, and we come back every time we do a wine country trip. Always incredible and creative bottles to try.

Really cute experience in the Celebration dome. Great service, delicious wines. Tried 6 varieties of wine. The charcuterie board was really tasty too. The wine in-store is more expensive than at the LCBO though which is a bit strange as it is usually cheaper at the winery it’s made.

We had a winter wine tasting under one of their domes. We enjoyed a cheese plate and several very nice wines. It was sunny, and hot!! We returned home with several wines which we'll enjoy over the summer. We've been before and we'll be back again!!

I've been here a few times and have loved every visit. I really like their wines I've tried, and the customer service is awesome. We did one of the domes in the winter a couple years ago, nice and warm with a heater and blankets, and last two weekends in the Vineyard Lounge. They've got a fully enclosed tent with blankets to keep you warm. The charcuterie board is also great!! The views out over the lake are also stunning!! 😍

Came to enjoy the outdoor wine domes. What a fantastic experience! On a sunny day we were very warm and even turned the space heater off. The charcuterie board offered a nice selection of meats, pickled onions, mushrooms, and preserves. Book in advance! We ordered a wine flight and a cider to enjoy.

From the moment we arrived and were welcomed outside the winery and escorted in to do a flight tasting was a wonderful experience. They have an outdoor venue with music, food and wine tasting, also. Margaret did the flight tasting with us and I can not say enough about how knowledgeable and personable she was. The icing on top of the cake was they have so many amazing wines!! The Riesling was very good as was the Gewurtztraminer. The service was amazing and the wines were the best we had tried on our wine tour.

Loved the view, the wine and the charcuterie board. I wish they had a menu of other food items too but all in all loved their wine.

We reserved a table in their outdoor "globes", and it provided a unique experience in the elements. In winds exceeding 50 MPH or 80 KPH for my Canadian friends, the service was outstanding! My girlfriend raved about the wine and while I enjoyed the ciders. All of them were fantastic. Wine and appetizers paired well, and prices were affordable. If you are in the area, you will not be disappointed!

We reserved a wine dome for lunch today, but it was so warm we chose to eat at an outdoor table. I really like this winery, we’ve always enjoyed starting the Graze the Bench here. Our server was great, the cherry cider was surprisingly good (as are the others), and the food from the truck was good. I know we will be back.

A fantastic experience! At the beginning of March, my husband and I arranged for a last-minute date in a Wine Dome at Fielding Estates in Beamsville. We had a wonderful time! We called and booked the last time-slot of the day, which was from 4:00 PM until 5:30 PM. The dome was very spacious for the two of us, and there was seating for six people. It was also heated, so it was warm and cozy. There were blankets at each chair, just in case the weather turned colder. Our dome was located nearest the winery building, so we had an excellent view of the vineyards, of the pond that was adjacent to the building, and also of Lake Ontario in the distance. That afternoon was a mix of sun and clouds, so the weather cooperated for us! The service was impeccable. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. Within minutes of arriving at the winery's bar, we were escorted to our dome. Our server showed us how to operate the heater, and explained the menu. There isn’t a restaurant at the winery, so a cheese tray and a charcuterie board were the only food options. My husband and I ordered a charcuterie board; he ordered a flight of red wine; and, I had a glass of lemonade. My husband even ordered a second glass of red wine, as he enjoyed the wines he had tasted in the flight. Everything was delicious! And, the price was very reasonable as well. As the sun started to set, the scenery was stunning. This was a very romantic date in the late afternoon on a Thursday. I’d highly recommend the Wine Domes at Fielding Estates! We’ll be back, for sure. : -)

A nice winery to sit outside and enjoy with friends. Our server explained to us the wines we asked about and made recommendations, but was otherwise very hands off. Brought out all the glasses poured, no additional information or stories were shared. Again, if you are looking to enjoy wine with your friends and have a visit with a beautiful view outside with nice wine, this is the ideal location. Missing the personal touch for us, so our rating reflects that.

We stopped in on a Monday afternoon in March and had the place to our selves. The host was great and went into great detail about the wines we selected for our tasting. We tasted a wine named Gewurztraminer which was absolutely amazing! We bought four bottles. Upon getting home we decided to have some more but it did not taste quite the same, banana notes were missing/ very weak compared to what we noticed at the tasting.

Dined here yesterday for lunch. Our server Michelle was awesome, Food was tasty , and the wine was delicious. We will definitely be back :)

Beautiful winery with modern decor and top notch food. We went there on Labor Day long weekend and were pleasantly impressed with the quality of food and wines. This was perhaps the ONLY wineries still accepting reservations on the day of. Plenty of parking available and they were able to seat us in the outdoor patio in the shade by the water feature. The winery is beautiful, with endless vines and a a glimpse of the lake. Its modern architecture is very impressive, clean lines, high ceiling, giant glass windows accentuating the landscape around. Food was very decent,from appetizer to entree and to desserts, all well prepared and really tasty. Prices are on the higher end but not ridiculous, and on par with the region. The road to this vineyard is also very beautiful, take time to enjoy the sights. Recommend!

Great setting, service and food. Outdoor dining in the vineyard was nice, and food tasty. Very relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. Would certainly go back for a meal and the scenery.

Absolutely amazing dining experience. Food was excellent, delicious, and cooked to perfection. The cocktail was just right, not overly sweet or dry. The atmosphere was very elevated, sophisticated, and intimate. Not too crowded or busy where service was able to stay attentive without being rushed.

Very nice restaurant & winery for viewing and dining. Went there on the way to pick up cherry. Plenty of parking spots. If you seat by the windows you can see the very beautiful garden view. Pizza is a little bit dry. Their French fries is soft style. Vegetables tasted like just pick up from farm, fresh and sweet.

We are locals and appreciated the experience that Laura gave us. We did a tasting during the ice wine festival and she was lovely! She was attentive and made sure we had the best experience. We loved her so much we even joined their wine membership. If you go to Redstone, go to Laura! 🍷

This is a beautiful spot to have lunch or dinner. We asked for a seat on the patio and the atmosphere and scenery is quite nice. We ordered oysters, spaghetti vongole and a few appetizers that included roasted red pepper and corn soup along with some pillow puff pastries, ricotta cheese spread and prosciutto. All of the dishes were incredibly flavorful and fresh. This is a place that pays attention to details - big and small. They have a great list of wines from Tawes so you can’t go wrong. We watched the sun go down on the patio. An absolutely perfect setting. If you’re in the Niagara area, it’s worth a visit.

My husband I have come to this restaurant many times before and have always had a wonderful experience! The food is exceptional and fresh, and the service is always great. Their theme nights have become one of our favorite weekday date nights. Yesterday they had seafood dinner night, and the menu was exceptional! The chef did an outstanding job. Btw always ask for the french fries on the side, you won't regret it.

It was our very first time at a winery (don’t judge 😀) and we didn’t really know what to expect. We opted for the tasting menu and sat at the little patio at the front. Well, we had a truly delightful experience. The property is beautiful and you can see great attention to detail. The service was great - patient and accommodating. The wines we tried were refreshing and unique in taste, and I really liked their cider. But let me tell you about the food - OMG. This is where our taste buds had a true feast. We picked chicken liver pate from the tasting menu, and honestly it was the best one (both in taste and presentation) that I had so far (don’t be shy to ask for some more bread). We now have to come back and have a full experience at the restaurant.

Went in for a tasting with the Discovery Pass. Patio was nice and sun was shining. We had the pleasure of having Chris visit our table to see how we were doing. Being new to the wine scene, we asked some questions and the amount of knowledge we were presented with was very informative. We learned so much about so many different wines and left feeling very impressed and will most definitely be returning!
