This is a fascinating church! We parked at the bottom, in the first lot, which gave us a great view of the front of the church. There were 2 men in golf carts, giving rides to the top for tips, which were thankful for in the heat. The church itself is small, but beautiful, with amazing scenery surrounding it. I would love to return for a mass sometime. I would highly recommend this.

The chapel is wonderful. A little crowded but a lot of parking and staff with golf carts to help get people from the top to the bottom. There is a big turnaround at the end of the road so don't be afraid to drive all the way looking for a parking spot. Beautiful views of the surrounding landscape also. Definitely worth checking out.

Beautiful, Catholic chapel with amazing views. It's a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the chapel, but totally worth it. They also have a surprisingly large gift shop beneath the chapel.

Spiritual place that evokes emotions as you step up to the door. Stood in the footsteps under the gaze of Jesus. Can't explain how it felt. The staff are wonderful, especially as they ate dealing with tourists who are just ticking the chapel off their "to visit" lists as well as those who want to experience a bit more. The website stated to grab the first parking spot, but we found lots of empty ones further up the hill, however, we didn't mind as the climb gave us time to appreciate and photograph the surrounding mountains.

Absolutely beautiful! There were a lot of people given that COVID is still an issue, so make sure to bring a mask. There is a catholic gift shop in the church. Might be a good idea to park outside of the entrance and walk up if you are going to hike Little Horse from here after going to see the church. especially if you are going a bit later so you don’t get locked in the gates after closing.

Beautiful views surrounded by red mountains of rock.The chapel is a triumph of architecture in its simplicity and beauty building around the the perfect spots. I sense a feeling of holy and joy upon entering the church . I am not a Catholic but would still highly recommend fighting the crowds to see and experience the glory of the chapel. Outside is breath taking views filled with fresh air, i highly recommend packing extra water bottle or two and apply sun screen before visiting because the sun light can be a pretty hot.

I'm Catholic, and whenever I travel I love to find a church or chapel to pray and give thanks to the Lord for the beautiful gift of life. This chapel is so unique and it's nestled in a beautiful spot in the deep red rocks of the mountain. The cross on the outside is so perfectly placed within the side of the mountain. It's so amazing to see the gifts and talents that human beins are gifted with and how they use their gifts to glorify God!

Very moving when you enter If you stand in footprints as they advise you will not be disappointed. Jesus will be looking at you it feels as he is truly their you must stop well worth it. Gift shop is basement is well worth a visit so many unique gifts. Be patient it's busy and we all know how that can go.

The chapel itself is very nice from both the outside and inside, but the view of the valley is something else! Would definitely recommend going here. NOTE: It’s free parking and the chapel entrance closes around 4:50PM, so make sure to come before then!

While I’m an atheist I probably didn’t get as much out of this stop as others, but I will say it is definitely worthwhile. The views from the church are excellent, and the whole atmosphere was calming. I sat for a bit to take it all in and admire the architecture and how well it blended with nature. We arrived around 8:30, and while the gates don’t open until 9, I’m pretty sure they opened early. There’s limited parking, but we were fortunate to get near the church and avoid some uphill walking. Definitely go early if you can! This really is a must see location for anyone.

This chapel is breath taking! Perched high up, you can spot it from the highway as you drive into town, cut into the red rocks with its sleek yet simple architecture -it grabs your attention immediately. There are a few different areas to park, starting from the gate under the chapel, then continuing all the way to the ramp to the chapel doors, with 6 handicap spaces right at the top. It has a wonderful breeze that gently whips around you as you make your way up. When you get to the doors and they open -wow- the tree that Christ is situated on going to the highest point in the chapel is breathtaking! The chapel is surprisingly rooming with many rows of seating, all which have terrific views of the simple but stunning chapel. To the left are stairs that go down to a very well air-conditioned gift shop that has a wide variety of items (coins, postcards, ornaments, figurines, statues, jewelry, books, etc...so much more).

Beautiful and (for some) meaningful space. Silence for meditation and/or prayers is appreciated by others in attendance. There is a long and rather steep ramp from the upper parking lot to the Chapel... parking can be tight, but most people keep their visits short so spots open up fairly regularly.

Must go place. The chapel is spectacular. Don’t forget to walk the trail. Easy hiking and so close to the red rock with amazing view!

This is beautiful outside and inside. It's clean, long ramp outside has spectacular views. There's also a gift shop inside downstairs which I didn't go to. This is entirely free but tight parking, narrow road leading up and down. Definitely worth visiting.

It's a drive and a walk. The view outside and inside was amazing and inspiring. This is on a vortex, so..sometimes emotional blocks get released. I just recommend this as a bucket list item. For me, it was an experience that is worth sharing.

Breathtaking…It’s truly a slight to see…rising out of the dessert, one with the rock. Pictures do not do it justice. Come here before any hiking if you plan to. You can see the massive landmarks like cathedral rock, and then hike other places like Devil’s Bridge or the Birthing cave that you can’t see without hiking. When you pass the porta-potties, that is the last spot to go to the bathroom (none in the chapel). Between those and the actual chapel is a little parking along the road, with handicap at the top. You can take shuttles/golf carts if you don’t find a spot or the walk is too tough. If you are not comfortable driving in tight spaces around people, and turning around quick at the top to come back down, I recommend looking for parking at the bottom and walking up and getting a shuttle (golf carts) or walking up

Nice view but it was really hard to find a parking space and took a while plus too much crowd. The place looked well maintained at least the chapel and sorroundings but I wish they have side walk or good space for people who are walking/hiking and parking.

Breathtaking scenery and moving architecture make this a great stop. We visited on Good Friday, which may have explained the heavy flow of visitors in and out. There are multiple spots to park along the drive that are well signed and multiple staff members guiding. There was even a golf cart helping escort visitors up the hill.

This is definitely worth the trip and hassle. Resist the urge to park in first spot you find. The climb in the elevation to the top is not fun. Keep driving to the top and you should end up with a good and close parking spot. The view and the chapel are beautiful.

A peaceful place to visit, reflect and enjoy the spectacular views! It is a walk up, but doable. A trolley can bring you up from the bottom. If driving, pack you patience.

Initially I put Chapel of the Holy Cross as an optional place to visit. When the staff from the visitor center suggested places to visit, when we have only 1 day to explore without long hike, this place became a must see. The view from the ground is very spectacular, when there is no mass they play some chanting music inside the chapel. I wished they had some speakers outside to allow visitors to meditate through viewing God's unique creation surrounding the chapel. I felt a spiritual connection as I visited this place. Parking is limited.

Great hike, good vibes. This hike is short and steep. Getting to the top will require some easy scrambling and the use of your hands to aid you on the ascent. The views are amazing. Try to get there early. I arrived at the trailhead by 7a and wss able to find parking. I believe they close off road acces around 8-9a, forcing hikers to take the shuttle to the trailhead. Bring water and sunscreen. Once you reach the top, "the end of the trail" take the small trail to the left for some additional amazing views. I really enjoyed this hike.

( Unless you're the kind of person who's willing to wait and have nothing else to do but wait). Other than the parking, waiting, and one section of the hike that is mainly smooth rock and about 60-70 degree vertical climb this place is awesome! Happy exploring!

This hike is SO worth it. As a novice hiker I struggled but seeing the sunset at the top made it worth it. It was tricky getting back down after sunset after it got dark, but since this is a popular hike there’s a lot of people around. The parking lot is very small though, I had to Uber from another parking lot (and there’s no service once you’re trying to leave).

A must-see in Sedona. Would recommend coming here shortly before sunrise, especially in the summer months. It can get busy here, so coming early will help you find parking near the trail head. The rock formations behind the trail block out the sunlight for some time, so you can to avoid the heat. People come hear to get a shot of themselves near a cliff, which is to the right of the end-of-trail sign. To the left of the sign, there's a path that goes into the rock wall and there are some additional views there, with a tall pillar.

One of the more iconic photo locations in Sedona as well as Arizona. It’s beauty never fails to amaze me. With many hiking trails that offer different perspectives, it’s one of my favorite locations for hiking, mountain biking, or simply enjoying its view at sunset or sunrise. Absolutely spectacular - the view is amazing. However, there is some slick rock.

Beautiful rock formations, and medium to challenging trails to get to the spot.

The roads leading to these trails were closed, so I didn't go first. But When I was driving on the same road for the second time, there was a person standing at the closed sign, so I asked how we can go to the Cathedral Rock trails. The person told us that we could go to the trail by shuttle bus. So we went to the shuttle bus place (you'll see signs of shuttle bus parking). They took us to the main trail. When I got off the bus and went to the entrance of the trail, there was a guide who gave us good advice. We walked trails for 3 hrs. Hiking the Cathedral Rock Vortex in Sedona is a last memorable experience. Amazing place! One of the most scenic places in Sedona is Cathedral Rock, but it is also one of the most challenging hikes. Cathedral Rock is the only one of the four major vortices with “feminine” energy. I hope everyone will visit this place

One of the most picturesque places you'll ever visit. It's an easy hike, but even if you take the difficult paths, you won't feel it because of how much more beautiful each extra step makes the place look

First. Don’t try to park at the trailhead, park at yavapi parking lot across the street. There are only about 25 or so spots at the trailhead. This is an easy hike and you can sit for hours on this vortex filled rock. Incredible. We walked on the trail around the entire area, about 5 miles. The loop walk is a must.

Dreamy place for beginners to hike. Red rocks always look so unique. Great place to enjoy the sunset. The vegetation are so “ desert”.

Went for a sunrise hike, it was incredible. Although it's mostly flat and rocky, there are some more moderate sections of the trail, and I was glad to have a trekking pole for these.

Amazing! Went there yesterday, very cold windy day and enjoyed every minute. First time here and did not disappoint. Parked in the South parking lot and went on the 'Bell Rock Path' to do the climb. My suggestion is (if you plan the same and it's your first time there) to not stop at the first signage you come across. Continue past the first signage on the Bell Rock Path trail, not much further, and you'll come up to a better route of going up. Way easier and actually has trail signs the whole way to follow. Showed a picture of the sign you're looking for. As stated, came from the South parking area and my first time here... spectacular!

I really enjoyed this place, because you can climb the rocks almost anywhere, so it was fun.

You can climb Bell rock while feeling the Voltex. Climbing shoes that give you good grip will make the climb easier. I was scared at the lower levels, but the higher I went, the easier it became. And I realized the importance of climbing shoes. The views are breathtaking, the place is phenomenal and fantastic. In the parking lot, unless you come early in the morning, you have to wait until someone leaves there. I waited about 20 minutes.

The first of our red rock experience and we had a great time. The hike is easy up with some rock scrambling up, but very doable. Parking can be tricky…. Small lot, but after a few minutes a spot opened up. We spent about 90 minutes here and enjoyed the views.

Beautiful hike in the morning. This is an easy hike and suitable for kids and dogs. I took a 10 min walk from Bell Rock Inn to the trailhead and didn’t need to pay for the $5 parking fee. The paths are somewhat marked but a bit confusing. I ended up checking from Google maps where I was and where the trail was. There were trails for bikers so maybe those were marked for them. If I had had more time I would have done the Courthouse Loop trail. Instead I turned back after 1.5 miles.

Short hike. Around 0.8 mile, but it can be dangerous if you slip . $5 for a-day pass or $15 for a-week pass

God did a great job on the natural beauty of this place. The trails are easy to walk on. If you are brave, you can climb up the rock up to the point that it goes straight up vertical, then you will need climbing gear and good skills.

Nice drive through location in all seasons. Always I drive to flagstaff and come through Sedona back to Phoenix to enjoy this canyon . It’s scenic in all seasons.

I travel quite a bit, but I can honestly say Oak Creek Canyon is one of my all-time favorite places to hike and photograph the scenery. There's no place quite like it. Every season is gorgeous here, but autumn is nothing short of breathtaking.

This beautiful creek was at the end of the trail of Grasshopper Point. It was PEACEFUL and Serene. Nobody around. You can tan and relax or enjoy the very still water.

Oak Creek Canyon has so much to offer from Starved Rock State Park to all the beautiful red rock in the area. There are lots of hiking trails next to Oak Creek, and many different places to jump in the water. Only downside is it gets extremely crowded with tourist from Phoenix.

I really enjoy stopping here, it's beautiful always but the sun at different times of the day can make it look so different.

The trail itself is absolutely beautiful and there are many scenic spots to stop and take photos of the whole valley below. The only unfavorable thing was the lack of available parking, even on an overcast day during the off season. The bridge itself was majestic though, and the trail is not too difficult until the very end (which was mostly because the rocks were slick with mud). Overall, the hike definitely won't disappoint, nor is it too difficult for non-hikers to do.

First time hiking this trail, challenging at first but worth every ache and pain.

This was such a fun and beautiful hike but getting up to the Devil’s bridge in winter - January was a little tough! The snow was icy on the steps so we had to use our hands and sit down in some parts. Worth it for the views of this amazing piece of art rock formation 😍

Beautiful hike; we went at sunrise. Saw some wild pigs and a tarantula along the way. Went early in the morning, so light crowd. The hike was easy; the climb up to the bridge was moderate. Take plenty of water.

One of the best easy hikes. I came with my family, and it’s a good hike with kids. My nephews were able to do it, and they’re not outdoorsy kids, but they were able to walk. From the parking lot all the way to the bridge, we took about 3 hours total (round trip). I've got to say it's worth the hike, bro, with no water, snacks, or proper hiking shoes.

What a hike! One of the best. Did it on a weekday late evening so it was very less crowded. The views are amazing and the hike is medium to hard.

Great place to visit, pay special attention to trail markers. Its easy to get off the path as there are several trail options. I would definitely download the trail map on my phone. The one that tracks your position regardless of cell reception. Take water!

Beautiful trail, towards the end near the bridge you will have to use your hands to climb up some flat, secured squared off rocks. I'm 56 years old and weigh 270 and I thought that part was fun. My body is strong and over weight but healthy.

Limited parking ! You need to wait with patience or just take the shuttle! Driving is optional but .. it’s a bit challenge 😂 Devils Bridge is the largest natural sandstone arch located in the Sedona area of Coconino National Forest. This is a great hike that offers breathtaking views of Red Rock country. it's one of the most heavenly sights in an area famous for them. From a trailhead elevation of 4,600 feet, there's a mere 400 foot climb in altitude during this moderately difficult, 1.8-mile roundtrip trek.

A nice hike just below the rim of the mesa. Because it's a loop around, you get some nice views of the surrounding valleys and vistas. If you're lucky, you may have a small plane fly overhead when you're near the end of the runway. A portion of this hike runs adjacent to the airport fence, so you sort of lose that "nature" aspect for that part. Otherwise it's a different and cool type of hike.

Airport Mesa was a nice, short trail that offered a cable handrail to assist with the climb up. As older folks, my husband and I considered this a luxury. This is a great place to take photos, and I recommend parking in the airport parking lot which is near the trail.

This is my favorite hike that I’ve done in Sedona! It is a very moderate hike with gorgeous views that are visible shortly into the hike. Unlike Devil’s Bridge and Cathedral Rock (where the trail is quite frightening at times because of narrow ledges or steep, smooth inclines) this hike feels safe and much less intimidating. Perfect for newbie hikers and experienced hikers who are looking for a beautiful stroll.

I was in Sedona for 2 nights and went to Airport Mesa both nights for sunset. It's a great view of the sunset and the red rock mountains around the city. Get there about an hour before sunset, it gets a little crowded. It's $3.00 to park.

Everyone knows about this place; they go to see the mountains at sunset. It gets windy, take a coat! Parking costs $3 so when you go for sunset, allow time for the line-up. Alternatively, one person can stay in the car and drive to the end of the road and wait for everyone else to take their photos of the sun bouncing off the rocks. The view from the end of the road isn’t bad and it’s much less crowded.

Went here for the sunset. There is a 1 mile hike to reach the top which is not pretty easy and the sunset view was amazing. There are too many people when we went though. While hiking back after sunset the view gets even better with the light on in the city. You can also park at the spot and there is view point which needs no hike. You can just sit there and enjoy the view.

Airport Mesa is an iconic spot for Sunsets and you have great views of Bell and Cathedral Rock. They have paid parking at the top here (by airport) and the queue to get in sometimes is long. Recommend getting there early and securing an awesome spot on the overlook or on the mesa midway up the hill. (Parking very limited there)

Easy out and back trail in Sedona with incredible 360 views! If you don’t have time to head on any longer trails this is a great option. Note that parking is extremely limited with only a few spots near the trailhead. We waited about 5 minutes and took the spot of someone who left.

Beautiful hike that wasn’t overly strenuous. Lots of pretty wildflowers to check out along the way when you aren’t admiring the views of the mountains. Bonus - there’s a restaurant at the airport to grab a bite at when you get back around to the parking lot :)

Spectacular views and a short hike. It was maybe a 5 to 10 minute hike to get up to the best viewpoints. We spent a long time just hanging out up here admiring The View.

Beautiful view of the city. There is a $3 parking fee, and there are a few toilets in the parking lot. Definitely worth stopping by and admiring Sedona from above.

The Airport Mesa Vortex is an especially unique energy when you choose to hike to it. You can park your car in two places: one parking space is at the lower level, which is free. This lower level gives you direct access to the vortex. The other option is to park all the way at the top and pay a fee ($3.00), in which then you can take photos at the scenic point. Besides taking photos at the scenic point, I walked the Sedona View Trail which is a point to point trail that starts at the parking lot and ends at the vortex. If you just want to take pictures, then the scenic view will do! If you do end up purchasing a parking pass, it is good for the entire day so you can leave and come back during sunset if you wanted to. If you want a bit more adventure, then I recommend getting on the trails and hiking! Hiking the actual rock was a little intimidating since it's rounded, but there is a wire that you can hold onto if need be. This was one of my favorite things that I did while in Sedona! I definitely recommend it! Recommendations: Wear good hiking shoes! I visited on a rainy, wet day so the path was very muddy and sometimes slippery. Likewise, be mindful of where you step - there are a lot of rocks on the path and cactuses on the sides.

Easy place to drive to for some great vista shots of Sedona. If youre going for sunset pictures get there early. It will get crowded quickly as it's a popular spot. It costs 3 dollars to park as well once you get to the top. Although sunset is pretty, the surrounding landscape gets in the way from getting those shots with a lot of color. It's worth a drive up, but don't count on amazing sunset shots, at least in my experience

A great place to watch the sun set over Sedona. It gets crowded, so make sure to arrive with plenty of time. Plenty of parking on site for only a couple of dollars

Lovely view point. I will clarify the parking situation. There is 10 parking spots that are free. If it’s full, you could pull into and wait as there is room to do so. Cars seem to leave frequently. 5 minutes to the summit view point. It’s steep, but very doable. 360 degree views. I went in late November, and the sunset wasn’t ideal as it went down behind the mountain. See photo. I would wait atleast 10 minutes for the sun to go down, as the sky didn’t change for us until later on. If there isn’t parking. You can continue to drive up the mountain to the airport over flow parking ($3). It’s a 15 minute walk/hike to the free parking. There is also a view point there that is nice, but it’s not 360 degree views.

Great views, I came here in the afternoon, hopefully next time will be able to stay longer to see the sunset. There are paid parking at the top, it’s $3 per vehicle. You can go for a hike through a small gate at the side of parking lot. It’s a pretty short hike, it takes about 30-40mins to get to the summit but it can be pretty tiring if you are not used to hiking since you will be going up and down on the way. Some parts of the trail are steep and slippery but they have chains for you to hold onto. Suggest wearing a pair of hiking shoes and you’ll be good!

Located in the city of Sedona just five minutes away. I would recommend to go buy a car as it is on a higher elevation views of the Sedona are amazing hiking is very moderate. Enjoy the sunset, and the sunrise view from here or just go there to chill and take some nice photographs.

Cool little park with a historic apple orchard on it but the main attraction is the river that runs beside it. When we went the water was 42 degrees F so it was a bit too chilly for swimming. Would definitely like to visit again I the summer!

Absolutely GORGEOUS. if you're passing through this area stop at the park. You'll be so happy you did. You have to pay to park but it's worth it!. There were a handful of brave people who got in the water when we were there (super cold in late March). Before you get to the swimming area there are park benches to eat at, a huge grassy area (people were playing some soccer), there is a concessions store to get everything you need while at the park, including beach towels, food, sunscreen, tourist gifts, etc. There are historical cabins, normal bathrooms, etc. Wear safe shoes by the water area because it's precarious in spots. Amazing place!!! go visit!

One of the most breathtaking places in Arizona! I have been twice and still feel like I didn’t get enough of it! My kids absolutely love it and the slide in the rocks is great! Please please bring gripped water shoes otherwise you will have a very sore bum!

Beautiful park! We enjoyed walking around on the rocks near the water. Gorgeous views. We visited on a weekday in March and it was not super crowded, which was nice. You could spend a whole day there if you want to hang out and enjoy the area, or stop for a couple hours like we did and take in the beauty!

Been coming here for years and years. Absolute stop if you want to enjoy this Canyon and Oak Creek. Not a bad little walk from ample parking. Little bit of hiking to get around and see everything but nothing too bad. You will want time to just sit and take it all in. Sitting by the waters edge and just listening to the water running is just amazing. It can be pretty busy, I recommend off season visit so your can enjoy it without tons of people.

Very nice place to go for a very refreshing swim. Water is nice and clear plenty of exploring to do up stream and down stream. Beware water will be cold and you will slip a little. Love that the cliff down stream is jumpable and deep enough to be safe to jump. Their will be a 30 dollar fee per vehicle or for 4 people extra if it exceeds 4 people. Overall very Nice family trip to nature.

Really pretty natural features. It was clean, easily accessible with very pretty views. A great place to stop along your adventure or as a destination. Made me want to go camping nearby. I will definitely be back. The water was flowing strong at the end of June. Idk where all that water came from it hasn't rained in months. Water was cold and refreshing on a 90 degree day.

Such a cool natural park! The whole experience was a blast, and the views were beyond beautiful! We hiked down to the water and were able to set up camp to leave our stuff. The rocks were super slippery, so it made going down the slide a breeze. At the end, there's a deeper section to swim and jump in, which was a lot of fun. The water felt so refreshing from the hot sun. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area. It's a beautiful place to spend the day hiking and having fun in the water. Great for families, but I would bring kids old enough to hike a bit. There are some steep areas to navigate.

It was very busy but it was extremely fun. There was an area to swim, jump, and multiple slide areas. It is a first come, first serve on the slides, be polite, and patient. It didn't take long to get a turn.There is a market to purchase snacks and souvenirs. For a family of 5, it cost 20 dollars to enter for 2 adults and 3 kids. We had to wait about 20 minutes to enter the park the park holds 200 cars and once filled it is a one out one in it is very busy so it can take up to two hours. There is beautiful scenery, cold water, hiking trails, and some history as you walk to the slide rock are, which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the parking lot. Our family really enjoyed our time there. You can also bring cooler, just no glass containers, easy upset, chairs, and floats. Park rangers are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it. Oh I also recommend water shoes and shorts.

Super cool 'side of the road' park/attraction. The drive up into the area is gorgeous, lots of twists and turns, so be careful, but enjoy the ride. Once you arrive, there is a 10$ fee, but it's well worth it regardless if you're staying an hour.. or the whole days. Side rock is really not like anything I've ever been to. The water flows freely, and there are several naturally carved 'slides' that you ride.. There is always a spot to take a leap into the pools. I would recommend anyone going to the area to add it to your stop list.

Slide rock was highly recommended by a friend so had some fairly high hopes. In reality, considering the $20 entry fee, it was alright. It has some beautiful sights, no doubts. It was quite cool when we went and had it been warm enough to swim it probably would have helped some. Even if that was the case though, the price of admission feels a bit steep for what it is.

This place is one of those small excursions that you will never forget when you go. The ride it self is so breath taking from beautiful scenic route of the mountains. If you’re able to stay at a hotel, airbnb etc close by I suggest doing so, so you have more time to explore the terrain. When you do arrive you will see tons of kids having a blast sliding down the water until their little bodies can’t take anymore. There is also a lot of cool tucked off areas inside the mountain to get comfortable and get some shade or catch a tan. I can’t wait to come back!

I have visited Sedona's Slide Rock State Park many, many times and it never gets old. This is an amazing State Park. It seems a bit expensive for entrance fee, but it was beautiful! We went at end of March, and the weather was lightly snowy, and overcast. This may have been responsible for the smaller crowds which was perfect for us! Of course it was very cold, but there were some daring people still jumping into the freezing water!

This is a must visit if in the Sedona area. We went late in the day and there was not a lot of people which made it great for taking photos. Even though it was December people were still in the water - which was very cold. Super fun and beautiful place. Parking was not an issue in December. I’m sure it’s packed during warm weather.

Always beautiful no matter if you take the drive through the park or stop to enjoy it. It's clean and views never disappoint. You can stop in Crescent Moon are to swim etc it's definitely a must due atleast once if you've never been. If you're lucky you may even see some wild life. There are so many different hiking trails as well. So bring your gear and make a day out of it.

This place was great plenty of really well marked hiking trails. They were also really well traveled so it wasn’t hard figuring out where to stay on the trail. There were a ton of expansive views to look out to, and spots to sit down and stare out.

In February of this year, we took a quick trip to the Sedona, AZ area as we had some airline miles to use that had been held-over from the pandemic. During our short visit (5 nights) we made a quick trip to Red Rock State Park, just outside of Sedona. As bad luck would have it, just as we were pulling in to the park, it started raining, but we had come prepared, so on we went. There is a real nice Visitor Center, and admission to the park is $7.00 for adults. We got a trail map, and on we went. In the rain. But, it was kinda neat, because the clouds, mist and rain added a visual to the pic's (shown) that you'd normally not get. Pretty easy terrain, not very steep trails (we're in our late-60's) and the scenery was beautiful You REALLY need to check out this gem of a park.

One of the best parks around Las Vegas. Took us 30 minutes to get to the park from the strip. Be forewarned - you need to have a reservation to enter the park and drive the scenic loop. However, if you go around 3-4 pm, the park ranger will just slip you inside as this is not their busiest time. Our cost to enter the park was $2. They did not honor the America The Beautiful pass. There are 8-10 pull off sites that all have different views and rock formations for you to view. There is plenty of parking and the occasion tortoise/sand lizard that you may encounter.

This is a must visit site while in Sedona, especially if your are into hiking. There is a network of hiking trails with interconnecting loops and you get to hike along the scenic Oak creek. You get some lovely views of the iconic red rocks of Sedona. Worth spending and afternoon and evening so you get the spectacular views of the red rocks during the twilight.

This was an okay place to explore…nothing super super exciting like bell rock. Also, it’s a mountain lion state park, so hikers be aware!! It was $7/person to get in. Skip this place and go to Tortilla Flat, much better choice! i cannot stress the importance of visiting here if you're in the area, the rangers are super nice and the trails are all extremely scenic. the whole place has an amazing vibe and its the BEST way to experience the natural beauty of sedona

Sedona just doesn't disappoint in the views. We selected this park to do some easy hiking. Checked out the creek amd walked a few trails that were well taken care if. I would call these easy if you can walk up hill and navigate obstacles. The views were spectacular, the viwtor center clean, and full of things for kids of all ages. We will return to the area and this place will be on our go to placea again.

A nice place to explore the creek with maintained pathways. It is not handicap accessible on the path I took to the right. Some of the path to the left trail would be fine for someone who has some physical difficulties getting around. They have a nice visitor station that has an educational area inside. Some of the trails have been closed due to damage from the flooding from the winter weather this year. I would recommend getting a State Park Pass if you plan on staying in the area or you live around the state that way you can visit all the beautiful parks in Arizona.

What a spectacular place to visit. I honestly had no idea that this small town near Flagstaff existed with such amazing views. Seeing the red rocks at sunset will simply have you feeling completely awe struck. The people were extremely friendly and kind and the weather was perfect even at the end of October. I wish I had planned to stay three days because two didn’t seem like enough time to see all of the sights..

I've been to dozens, possibly hundreds of State Parks. This one, in the town of Sedona, AZ, is one of the best. Outstanding hiking among some of the most beautiful scenery this state has to offer - and in Arizona, that's saying a lot! Add to that a small but unique visitor's center that is the centerpiece of a very well-maintained park and trail system. The park itself is off the Red Rocks loop scenic drive, which is itself a wonder. Highly recommended.

We there on December 5.2023. This first time we have seen the park in December we have all ways seen in April and October so it really to see how things look this time year . The trails were nice and the Trees a lot of them had changed color . Only issue we on time was on the trails was closed this on that is right next water which takes you back to the visitor center. We did not know this was closed we were looking forward to that part the trail . We should ask if all the trails were open when got our pass . We still had a great time and also got some really Pics .

The trails are well maintained and you can't beat the view! We chose their "hardest" trail, Eagle's nest, which was a little challenging and short. My only complaint is that the signage for the trails tends to be confusing. The up/down arrow doesn't seem to be consistent.

A beautiful place to walk or hike, and there is a mini nature museum in the visitor center. All the rangers provided great recommendations for our hikes and picture spots. The paths were pretty clear and there is a great variety of levels.

We love this part of the country. During a drive from Phoenix to Vegas we decided to drive through and see what Sedona was like. I would definitely come back and hike or ATV the desert. We were on a limited time but wanted to squeeze it in

Poor mapping of this very small and easy hiking area. The trail maps had crossed off paths and painted over areas that were different on each map. Paying $7/pp I would hope for better maintenance and better trails. So many better spots that I would suggest avoiding this one.

Nature is truly incredible. Nicely maintained park with endless beauty and very fun and unique features. Nature has gifted us a natural amusement park. Please pickup your trash and pet bags.

What a beautiful park with numerous hiking options. There is a cute gift shop and the rangers are incredibly friendly! We had a fantastic time hiking and exploring. There are many informational signs and abundant wildlife. Highly highly recommend.

Could easily spend 30~40 mins looking at stunning view of red rock mountains of Sedona from a hill top point. This is like a viewpoint to watch out sunrise/sunset. Otherwise also, still a good place to be there and see the mountains. Drive through all over to the viewpoint( no hiking required) and there’s a big parking space available ($3). No other fee required! It was worth visiting!

There is a small lot at this location that can fill up quickly. It is a short, easy hike (that provides further scenic views) from the airport parking lot, further up the hill; you have to pay to park at the parking lot but it's a small amount. At the rock itself there are built-in stairs and at the top a full 360 view where you can see many other popular rock formations.

Great sunset views. Parking has a fee and it’s a bit of a tourist trap but an ok experience. Views are just as nice from a lower viewpoint with no parking fee if you can find parking. Short hike to view summit. This main viewpoint is filled with tourists taking pics and occasionally there is someone playing music or a vendor or two. Still worthy of a stop.

There are lots of great places in Sedona to watch a sunset. This is popular not only for the views (which are amazing) but watching the sunset here is also a social event. Large parking area ($3 per car) across from the overlook accommodates lots of spectators (probably several hundred folks on a recent Wednesday evening). In addition the views, this also serves as a gathering spot for locals and tourists. If you are looking for a serene quiet area to reflect on the day as the sun sets, this isn't it. If you like to mingle and chat with other tourists and some locals this is the place to be.

One of the best places to view the whole of Sedona. Parking cost $3 and one can hike to the lower vista. Great view of the eastern mountain ranges and the Bell Rock to the south from here. An amazing place.

$3 parking fee, which goes towards the maintenance of the parking lot, I suppose. You get a beautiful view, though... There is a trail that leads to other viewpoints. Be aware that it’s quite uneven with all the rocks. There was a small parking lot that was free over there, but it was full. Still, you can try your luck and then hike up to this lookout.

Beautiful sunset views from the airport lookout. Our server recommended the site for a breathtaking sunset. He was right. We went on a Friday after dinner and it was busy but not packed. Still lots of parking available. Cost $3 per car. I would prefer to get there a little earlier to have a front row view but we still had a great spot.

This is a quick drive and a small parking fee to see all of Sedona town and a great view of thunder mountain. I would definitely recommend. The restaurant that is just beyond the parking lot has a great view of the airport and good food. It is very pricey though.

I recently visited the Sedona Airport Scenic Overlook with a couple friends and was blown away by the views. The overlook is located on Table Top Mountain, which is the highest point in Sedona. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the Grand Canyon. I was also able to see many of the vortexes, which are areas of concentrated energy that are said to be beneficial for meditation and healing. I arrived at the overlook early before sunset to avoid the crowds. I was glad I did, as the overlook was already starting to get crowded by the time I left. I brought my camera with me to capture the amazing views. I was also glad I brought a light jacket, as the weather was a bit chilly at the top of the mountain even though the day started at 100. I spent about 2 hours at the overlook, just taking in the views and enjoying the peace and quiet. Then walked down from the parking lot to the vortex. It was a truly magical experience. I meditated for 20 minutes. Every one that walked by was respectful and remained quiet. I felt a sense of peace and tranquility while there. During my hike down I could smell the sage brush in all directions. I would definitely recommend visiting the Sedona Airport Scenic Overlook to anyone who is visiting Sedona. Overall, my experience at the Sedona Airport Scenic Overlook was unforgettable. It is a place that I will definitely cherish and recommend to others. It is a one of a kind location!

Absolutely one of the coolest places on earth to watch a sunset. These pictures were all taken from my cell phone. Samsung galaxy. The date on them was October 27th 2023. All taken within about 20 minutes of each other. Sedona Arizona will always be a choice vacation spot. Sunsets on airport road are a absolute must!

Great lookout over Sedona. You also can hike one-way 0.6 miles down the vista if you'd like. We enjoyed the hike and being able to see the great views

Located right in the city of Sedona almost 0 hike there is a three dollar parking fee. If you go all the way on the top views are breathtaking you can always see the entire city and enjoy the sunset or the sunrise view. I experience both and I really enjoyed.

There is a ton of parking available at the top of the hill for a $3-$5 fee. The scenic outlook area is a little smaller and fills up quickly during sunset. Sunrise is not as perfect in this location due to trees, but the views of Sedona and the red rocks are still amazing regardless. There are Porta potties and classic binocular machines for use for a quarter.

Great place to get a good hike with views. This trail immediately has great views to see much of Sedona from elevation. There is a parking lot at the top and you start from there. Trail is relatively easy. It is not graded, but well traveled. Packing water and a meal might be a good idea so plan accordingly. Enjoy the energy vortex.

There is a Great view at the Sedona Airport Scenic Lookout! If here, I recommend to pay $3 for parking across the street and hike to the vortex down the street. There is a trail to the vortex instead of walking on the road, which is unsafe, due to the traffic, curves, and no shoulder on the road. Then, you can walk to the Mesa Airport Grille restaurant, which has great food options!

It is one of the best places to view the sunset, sunrise, and stargaze. I stopped here with my girlfriend to view the sunset, and it was so beautiful. We stayed late and participated in some stargazing as well. Being from a big city, I'm never able to see anything in the sky besides the moon, so this was a great stop for me. I even got great shots of the stars with my phone. We parked at the parking lot nearby for $3 USDand parking was good until midnight.

Oh my goodness...an easy trail just a short distance to an amazing lookout and also a closeby huge rock to walk upon for for breathtaking views.

The mountains are always beautiful, but the crowds here were ridiculous. Do yourself a favor (especially during their busy season) and find somewhere else to watch the sunset. Parking was $3.00 for a car.

Amazing spot we found by fluke !! There were so- many people there !! Also tour buses ? We met a very nice Indian family there , a daughter from Texas & her parents were visiting her & took a trip to Sedona ! We took our trip there from L.A.! They took pics of ours & my sis took theirs !! We all had a terrific time & lots of photos !! Everyone was excited to be there !!! We had photos of beautiful sunset there also !! I highly recommend this spot !! It's free ! But, parking fee was $3 across the street. The guy working at the parking lot was very friendly , too ! We also discovered a very nice restaurant at the airport ( a bit further up the hill ) called Mesa Grill which we later visited on another day ! Fabulous restaurant ! Those two are MUST VISIT & Canyon breeze restaurant in Sedona for breathtaking views !!! 👍👍👍😍

Great view of the nearby mountains. I recommend arriving at least 30-45 mins before sunset. There is a big parking lot with plenty of room, but traffic gets bottle necked at the entry ($3) if you try to show up too late and the view area can start to get a little crowded. The sky was very clear on this night. The rocks are beautiful. For the best sunset colored sky look for a high/medium cloud layer is what helps reflect the light a really accentuate the colors.

One of the most beautiful shopping centers in the country! Well worth spending time here to walk around and check out the shops. Also the art work and admire how well designed this center is. A variety of different restaurants, tea shop, coffee shop throughout the center. Beautiful views everywhere you turn. Lots of different art shops, all worth taking a walk through and maybe even buying something unique. The shopping center itself truly blends in with the environment. A great place to take a mid morning or early afternoon walk.

Wonderful, peaceful place to visit and shop. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting here with my sister. Passed up on a few larger priced purchases but still enjoyed my time here. Very relaxing and just what we needed.

It's wonderful! Me and my family wanted to go somewhere and we chose here. I think it would be better if you came here in spring so you see the trees blossom. I couldn't really go inside the places either way cause we had a dog. But overall if you ever want to go somewhere with a family, I say here would be a great place!

"Beautiful and breath taking experience". It was very difficult for me to put my camera down. There are so many different shop and places to explore. It's a Villa experience with amazing food and balcony stores and restaurants. There is close parking on site and it is walking distance from a few great hotels.

The cutest shopping “mall” I’ve seen! It’s beautiful to just walk around - but the shops are to die for! Fabulous little shops full of all kinds of wonderful! Even the coffee spots are adorable. We’ve gone here every day since arriving - no joke. It’s a cool and classy shopping experience.

Old(ish) building with a Spanish/Moors feel, filled with shops selling all bits 'n bobs. Some nice stuff, some tourist stuff, some affordable stuff, some expensive stuff. Certainly worth a visit to see and feel the different shops (and architecture) rather than the generic mass-mall that are everywhere. Plenty of parking and toilets.

This place is truly awe inspiring. It gives the feel of almost an old Italian village. It has so many awesome shops I could not even begin to name them all. The art located inside here is absolutely breathtaking. The views are majestic, the atmosphere makes you want to just sit and enjoy whatever life may bring. This is truly a gem in the desert.

Very cool spot in Sedona!!! A definite do not miss location. Lots of cool shops and and restos to get lost in, and amazing architecture and sculptures around every corner ... And boy are there a lot of corners. I wish the areas were color coded in the map in some way so that we knew which sections we had explored and which we didn't, as nothing is set up in a linear fashion (but that adds to the charm). Also for a tourist destination, lots of stores close early at 4 or 5pm which had us rushing around.

This space is absolutely delightful. The architectural details, gorgeous sycamore trees, and varied shopping are spectacular. The shops are expensive, but would one expect anything different? There are many interesting and creative pieces for sale. We enjoyed dining at the Secret Garden restaurant and spending the day shopping and drinking in all the beauty. Don't miss this in Sedona.

The luminary lighting here is such a great time with our family. We have came here for years, except when covid shut it down. This place is amazing and beautiful at Christmas! The lighting of the bags and the whole Experience is a must. We have such great memories here and love making new ones each year. It has food and drink and some really neat art to see. Best place for Christmas spirit.

A very quaint place to go shopping, beautiful decor. This also makes a great place for a various of all kinds of photoshoots as long as you dont bring in a group, just you and your subjects. Prices as expected in Sedona for a tourist 'trap' and the surrounding area of landscape is breath taking, You can go exploring and hiking and spend the day here.

It’s a very beautiful art and shopping center. It’s picturesque and enjoyable to spend many hours at, but almost every shop is definitely over priced. It’s part of the experience and it is mostly local artists, so you can decide that for yourself. I always enjoy it here, I think this place is lovely and peaceful.

Tlaquepaque is a truly enchanting place to relax, shop, eat ... you will feel transported to Latin America/Spain. There is a diverse range of specialty shops, eateries, etc. as well as a fabulous Mexican restaurant with outdoor seating. Parking is free! This is a must visit if you are in Sedona- it is especially gorgeous at nighttime with all the lights

The name of the place meaning is "a little bit of everything. And it's true. Cool place to spend good 4 hours. Nice restaurants with delicious food, art galleries, and souvenir shops, beautiful decoration. We enjoyed walking around, took some pictures, and had a snack with a beer in the brewery. If you are in Sedona, don't miss it!

Spent some quality time here when we were there on a day trip to Sedona! Amazing architecture! It was during winter time and it was so perfect to walk around! One should definitely consider to visit this place to witness historical architectural building/shops. A decent parking space is available! (it was crowded as it was a weekend)

A thoughtfully designed and very well executed specialty center. Fantastic galleries and some cute specialty shops. The timing of our visit meant we didn’t get to Rene’s for a meal, but we’ll be back!

From a shopping perspective I expected more affordable items. Mostly fine art galleries. But, beautiful location and especially at night, this time a year when all trees are lit. Great coffee at cake cream couture.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! It was myself & my husband's first time coming here and we were very impressed. Such a lovely area with beautiful scenery, and such a vast area to walk around with an amazing array of shops, boutiques, and eating places.

During the early morning it’s perfect to look around even if everything is closed you can still get a matcha latte near that area. It’s honestly refreshing to see these beautiful fountains.

Great place to check out while you are in Sedona! They have a lot of little shops tucked away in the corners of each of the different patios that you can access. I suggest spending at least an hour here so you can wander around and find a good souvenir to bring back home.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful hikes you can take in Sedona. While most people only venture a mile or so in, the canyon really gets more beautiful the further you go back (and more peaceful!). Between the creek that you cross several times, the towering cliffs, and the lush trees and ground cover you really can't ask for more. Take a lunch and go back 3-4 miles and you will have the place to yourself. Take time to sit down and take in your surroundings as the canyon is overwhelming. My favorite time of year is fall and time of day is mid to late afternoon. That time of day really allows you to take in the beautiful colors of the surrounding cliffs as the sunlight sneaks away. Make sure to wear good shoes and be prepared to fall in love with this place. I would give this trail 5 stars but the $11 fee to park is a little high in my opinion and your regular red Rock passes that everyone stops and buys in town do not work there. Also the fact that they only accept cash is a little inconvenient as there is now where close to go and get it if you forget. So make sure you have money before you take the drive up. Plan in spending at least a few hours and make sure to look around, as there are hidden ruins and things to see everywhere you look!!

Absolutely gorgeous and easy hike. Very family friendly with amazing views to take awesome family photos. There are restrooms and parking at the entrance. The trail is 3.3mi one way and has 13 stream crossings.

Parking is cash only, so be prepared! A stunning hike once you get farther from the start and the road. It can be crowded at the beginning. When theres water, its a fun place to find slide rocks and get your feet wet! There is plenty of shade to keep cool in, and though certain river crossings can be more precarious, kids would be fine. Be prepared to pet some adventure doggos too! An awesome hike if youre looking for something a little more shaded than cathedral rock.

Unfortunately we missed the fall color by two weeks but this was still an amazing lil adventurous hike . Suggestion get to trailhead early. This place gets packed and no other place to really park around other than parking lot. Also you may get wet at one of the many water crossings

Beautiful and easy hike but can be busy or crowded on holidays. It’s all the way at the bottom of the canyon and takes about 15 minutes to get there after you pass slide rock. There are logs you need to cross and shoes that can get wet are recommended. The trail is well shaded and flat for the most part.

Stayed in Sedona for 2 weeks. Hiked many trails, this being my favorite. Easy casual walking, lots of shade from vegetation. Historical architectural ruins along the path. Take a walk in the creek, sit on the rocks, and be present with the ravens, singing birds, butterflies, dragon flies, and little fish swimming at your feet. Locals hiking around me verbalized Fort Creek Trail was their favorite too.

The photos on the website do not portray what you will see. I have a telescope at home and I stargaze on my own time but I was hoping this would show me something I couldn't see with my own telescope at home but that was not the case. I was hoping for actual surface views of the planets. But, the sky view is amazing in Arizona, the telescopes on sight are great quality and you also get binoculars to view other things in the sky while you wait to view the telescope images. They also provide blankets and chairs and that is a great amenity especially for a chilly night. I did learn a lot and did learn how to locate certain star clusters and the milky way so that when I gaze at home I can find them without digital telescope help bc I do not have a digital scope. The astronomers are wonderful and informative and answer any questions. I think the advertisement on the website should be altered to show ppl what you will actually see. Overall I was disappointed in parts of the viewing experience for the price but I was satisfied with the concept and knowledge that I am able to take home. This is definitely for city folk who don't have star viewing at home, if you are a city dweller with no dark sky knowledge or the ability to see dark sky this would be a good experience.

Did not deliver what was promised. We paid for two private tours and we were promised two astronomer guides. We got one person who was anything but an astronomer. What they delivered was not worth the price paid. We paid $100+ per person and we didn’t feel valued as customers. On a cold Sedona night this company offered nothing to comfort their guests. Even our astronomy club offers hot cocoa to guests at their free monthly stargazing nights. The best part about the evening was looking at the amazing Sedona sky with the naked eye.

I love this trail. Some shade, trees, creek bed. Beautiful rock cliffs surround the trail. Have done the box canyon and the subway caves trail. Both are beautiful and worth the hike!

Was a very peaceful hike we were able to see some deer 10 foot from the trail. It has many different aspects of hiking. You start off in a desert Sedona feeling vibe and changes to a hike you would see in Georgia in the Smokies then back to red rocks. Definitely recommend this hike don’t forget to stop at the Subway hike before you make your way back out. Arrive early to eliminate parking on the road.

My experience was paramount 3hrs of bliss, Serene Scenery, positive vibes, and a good work out to boot. A fabulous way to spend a new years day. Early arrival minimal tourist and snow on the ground trees and Canyon perimeter. Parking free for this holiday and early on plenty of spaces. One of the Best hikes on Planet 🌏. Took a 100 plus pics and they barely do this Valhalla any justice. This place is an absolute MUST!!!💯🌈🌐!

Subway cave was amazing. Took a while to get there but worth it. You will see a route to take to get there on your right side. People mark arrows and created a entrance to help you know which route to take.

This is one of the top rated hikes in Sedona. You can take the Boynton Canton Trail to the end, which we did not do. All trails shows it as a 6.1 mile out & back with 826’ total elevation gain. This trail most people take to branch off and get to the Subway caves. We walked fairly quick and was not terribly busy and made it round trip in about 2 hours and clocked about 5 miles. This time did not include the hangout time at Subway Cave. Others also access the Birthing cave from this trailhead. The hike is beautiful in itself as you walk along The Enchantment Resort and down through the brush in the riverbed area. The Subway cave is a must with stunning views.

One of the easiest trails to go it is just a 20 minute one-way to go to the vortex and enjoy the beautiful view. Unfortunately, I could not make it as we reached here quite a bit late it was going to Sunset and I was not sure. The route is very pretty must go place in your bucket list , there are signs everywhere. Do not feed the bear so be careful don’t carry food along with you, there is a public restroom at the parking area which is very dirty, so if possible, finish your personal job before heading towards the trail and try to drink as much water as possible so you can avoid using this restroom.

We experienced four seasons in one day. Amazing how the climate can change in 3 miles. The middle of the trail was covered in snow. Also very slippery ice at some hilly parts. Even fell hard on my bum ;)

Great hike. Apparently there are some caves at the end but there's a sign before your get there advising you not to continue, which I obeyed, so it's anyones guess. Prepare for ice and snow on the latter third of the trail if hiking in winter. I fortunately brought micro spikes. Parking lot was full as I arrived as well, so maybe try to get there early. Some amazing views and challenging sections tho, definitely worth a visit.

Loved this hike. The trail is rocky and sometimes very sandy. The views are extremely beautiful, the cliff dwellings were interesting as well. Highly recommend this trail.

Ok so this is not for beginners no matter what they say. It was absolutely beautiful and shaded a lot of the way but also very steep and rocky. From the parking lot it is 3.1 miles to the end of the trail and that spot is worth the hike. The scenery along the way is truly right out of a fairybook. I took plenty of pictures to share along the way. We even came upon a deer minding his business, pretty cool sight.

I arrived at 6 am, and the parking lot was feeling up fast. The hike is very nice. If you want to go to Subway Cave, it is marked to get you there thanks to hikers writing on log laying on the groung

Great trail, most can do it, would say it's moderate. Has a nice pace, and just before the key cave and lookout ledge it's a little challenge, just step over step, slow to get up the narrow side , and your good. Yes I would do this trail again. Great place to take out of towners.b

I loved this hike. The last 20% of the main trail and the cave are incredible. We saw a large javelina, acorn woodpeckers and hummingbirds. I suggest at least 1-1.5 liters of water per person.

Parking is limited. Nice hike once you get past the resorts. Moderate most of the way. Little tougher getting up to the dwellings. Off shoot trail to the dwellings is easy to miss Take twice as much water as you think you will need. Loved it ! Worth the time and effort

We did this trail to get to Subway Cave. Highly recommend it's overall a beautiful trail. The parking lot is very small so I do recommend arriving early and on the weekdays. It is a very popular trail so you will come across many other hikers. There is additional parking on the street but can add up to half a mile to your hike. There is no markings to subway cave so be sure to bring a map. There is a large tree in front of the fork that is a good indicator to turn right. Amazing views. Once you get to Subway Cave there are two ways to get up. The first you will see is a straight up climb. If you aren't wearing hiking boots can be difficult. The next is on the left hidden behind some bushes/trees. It's a much easier climb.

This is one of the four vortexes in Sedona I always visit. The vista is wonderful and peaceful even if there’s a lot of people. You can sit for a long time or keep hiking onto other trails from this point. Parking can be hard so I tend to go later in the day. Make the turn to where it says vista

This hike was the perfect amount of challenge I needed. Fair warning the secret cave requires a bit of climbing. Not the most accessible if have a hard time going steep

Made it to the caves. It's 6 miles in n out. We had our 4 year old, he had to be carried a bit but thoroughly enjoyed the caves.

Beautiful trail that takes you inside a picturesque forest and eventually leads you towards Subway Cave. We enjoyed panoramic red-rock views during the first mile or so of the hike before entering the forest. It is a little confusing when attempting to reach Subway Cave (there’s a fork within the forest a couple miles in where you have to make a right), and the parking is quite limited.
