First time at Tobin James and our first stop in Paso. We had a wonderful experience and Andrew made it even more enjoyable! The wines are great, the atmosphere is welcoming, and every staff member was awesome! They truly lived up to their great reviews. I would totally recommend going here if you want good wine and a warm and inviting experience! I was having such a great time I forgot to take any photos of the wines. Also, as a side note- the little birdie wine topper is a must! It chirps when you pour 🐦

We stopped by TJ today for the first time, and enjoyed a tasting with Crystal who was very friendly and informative! She was a large part in our decision to join the wine club. My wife and I sampled over a dozen wines. We had a great experience and left with a few souvenirs. We are looking forward to our first 8 bottle shipment in April, but we will probably be back before then.

Stop by on your way to and from Palo Robles. It’s a big place with country of staff outside seating and picnic area. The manager is very attentive, and the wines are excellent. $20 tasting fee is waived if you buy a bottle.

The party events are incredible. 4 bands playing through the night and food galore by over 25 food vendors all night long.

I really wanted to love this place, in fact at first we wanted to stay for two days. It is that beautiful. Our plan was to do a photo shoot on the second day, as there are so many unique buildings, antique fixtures, and just overall lovely scenery. The ladies who checked us in were so friendly too. As Harvest Host members it is 'requested' that we spend $20 at a property, and we always spend much more than that. This particular property, however 'required' that we spend $20 per person. The wines were mediocre, which I could have lived with. What turned us sour on our stay was the bartender. I literally felt as though I was a waste of his time. I tried to communicate with him, but all I ever got in return was, "which one do you want to try" There was no verbal communication of what the wines were like, what they paired well with, or upsell of any sort. At one point the bar tender left us to talk to a fellow employee. I witnessed him whisper to her as he pointed at me and my husband. I could go on but I think you get the picture. We wasted no time leaving.

Just finished my first wine tasting experience at Tobin James… AMAZING atmosphere. I absolutely LOVED Veronica, and her recommendations were spot on. You don’t always find a place that has great wine AND great people. If you haven’t checked them out, I HIGHLY recommend making this a top place to stop if you’re coming to Paso Robles. Added bonus is they are visibly supportive of our nation’s military. Will definitely be back!

I recently visited Tobin James Winery, excited to use a wine passport I earned after completing a marathon. This passport was supposed to grant me a complimentary visit, and Tobin James was explicitly listed as a participating winery. Unfortunately, they did not uphold their end of the agreement. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, pointing out that other wineries had accepted the passport without question the same day, the staff simply dismissed its validity. Despite this disappointment, there were some highlights to my visit. A few of the wines were delightful, and one server was particularly helpful, enriching my experience with his deep knowledge of their wines. His passion for sharing and educating was a bright spot in an otherwise frustrating experience. However, the situation soured again when I tried to leave. I hoped for some understanding or a solution regarding the passport issue, but instead, I met with dismissiveness from the staff. This lack of support and customer service left me feeling overlooked and undervalued. While I enjoyed the wines, my visit was overshadowed by the winery's failure to honor their commitment and their poor handling of the situation.

We didn’t make an appointment and just last minute decided to stop by and buy wine. We came at 5pmish (they closed at 6) and they graciously let us in! We were able to sample 3 before buying their moscato! It was sooo good :0) And the lady was very friendly but I unfortunately forgot her name. Their main room is huge and the bathroom was really clean! I would come back here with an appointment.

We had a blast! Rachel, our host, was amazing. We ended up buying lots of amazing wine, and a turtle aerator! This was the last winery before heading back, and we highly recommend it!

A must visit on your wine tasting trip! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing wines across the board. While the trend in Paso seems to be to raise tasting fees, increased bottle prices and higher bottle limits to wave tasting fees, TJ has kept their prices on the ground. If you want a really great atmosphere and wines that are very reasonable, this is the place to visit!

9/18/22 We visited here when we vacationed in the central coast. It hasn't changed since our last visit in May. No masks required. They do reservation for busy weekends and holidays. Very popular winery. The receptionist up front was very nice. We didn't have a reservation but she let us in. Luckily it wasn't busy. The pourer selected samples of what I would like. He was great. The charming and wonderful ladies who rang up the sale were very helpful. Nice surprise was the discount for buying 6 bottles. This is our favorite place to visit. There is a grassy doggie area for the furry travelers. We stopped here on the way to the coast and back. Lots of free parking with handicap access. Tall shady trees with patio seating. Very friendly and extremely helpful hostesses. They fill in the list of the wines you want to sample and or puchase at the entrance. I came here to purchase specific wines that luckily were available. You take the list to the cashier inside. They get the wines from the back and ring up the sales. They accept credit cards. My last visit here was 10 years ago. The staff are as helpful and friendly as ever. The interior is the same western decor. Their wines are world renowned. This is our favorite winery in Paso Robles. We will return.

The location is convenient and good, but there is no winery vibe. I missed the attention of the staff. If you don't ask anything, you won't hear anything. It seems to me that more work needs to be done to prepare the customer for the purchase. Today there are a lot of offers, so it is important not just to give a try for money

Tobin James winery is a Gem in Paso Robles. We tried varieties of Reserve and Red wines. All tasted very distinct and loved them all. A big shout out to Donna, she took great care of us. Vibe of the place makes it extraordinary. Specially loved the bar table decor. Would highly recommend this winery in central coast.

Great location and very attentive staff. Our server was amazing. Due to weather we stayed inside. Outside was gorgeous but wanted to stay dry. Maybe next time. All wine were good and our server brought a special treat when he heard it was my wife’s birthday. We loved the wine and left with bottle. We will be back.

Our server / wine pourer Stephanie was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Justin for a wonderful experience. We’re Paso regulars and have somehow never been to Justin. Exceeded expectations, bought 1.5 cases, and loved it all. We’ve always thought Justin was not our wine club vibe, but changing our minds….

Pretentious, rude and unfriendly. We had 2 separate reservations for total of 4 people, we didn't think to add 2 kids that were going with us since we were just going for a tasting. We were pretty much the first ones there at 11am and place was empty.. The guy who greeted us was so rude, he said they couldn't accommodate us because they're fully booked, we just wanted to do a tasting. We ended up doing the tasting standing which is what had expected. It was ok, but honestly won't go back there or be buying their wines anymore.. the rest of the wineries we went to even some without reservations were so much nicer and accommodating.

Great winery to visit. Beautiful grounds, quality wines, and excellent food. Their burger was one of the best I've ever had. Also be sure to upgrade the fries to their truffle fries. Our group is already planning a return visit.

We stopped here on our winery tour of Paso Robles. The wine selections were quite nice. I had had Justin wines in nice restaurants before. It was nice to taste all the options of the winery. We like the so much we shipped stuff home.

Excellent wine!!! I got a subscription with them after my visit. The food was also amazing, and they have the best customer service. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery by looking at the vineyards while tasting and having fun. I Highly recommend this place!

I've always appreciated Justin wines, but I hadn't visited the winery until today. We had lunch and a tasting flight on the patio overlooking the vines. From my phone call to make the reservation (thank you Jack) to the actual lunch and tasting, I only wish that we were staying at the inn and didn't have to leave. Our server was Aloysius. He was a wonderful guide. The burger is amazing. The flavors melded together into perfection. I would write a paragraph about the wines, but you should already know that Justin wines are the epitome of paso.

Stunning winery, friendly staff and incredible service. They have a select food menu offering local farm fresh bites and everything on the menu is offered according to season. They’ve just earned the Michelin star and I can certainly see why! Not only do they have this incredible site to eat and drink at, they offer 3 suites or a villa to enjoy a lovely overnight stay. Such a gem in the heart of Paso Robles!

Wine has gone down hill since 2009, also has customer service. We were charged for a bottle of Isosceles instead of a glass, glad the hubby caught that on the way out. The wine is not the same since it was bought out from Fiji water. Prefer Austin Hope Wines!

This winery is amazing! The 2020 Reserve Carbernet hits all the right notes! We are so glad to be attended to by Jill. She is so attentive, polite, hospitable and provided very suitable recommendations on Justin’s offering. We brought 8 wines back in total! Love it and will definitely return!

Excellent experience! Grandparents have been twice and had a blast! The wine caves are amazing and if you go ask for Vernon he knows just about everything there is to know about Justin. The whole ambience was great and beautiful views. The hamburgers are delicious and the service is excellent. Staff is super attentive and friendly.

This place is a must to visit. Staff is incredible and the scenery was awesome! We were very happy with the wine tasting and Kyle’s knowledge of the wines and vineyard was delightful to listen to. He did a great job at making us feel comfortable with our experience there! Highly recommend this winery!

Paso Robles has not impressed. Town is okay. Vineyards are way too far outside of town. Food and coffee are okay at best. Although we bought some great wine at Justin, the experience did not meet or exceed our expectations. Our server Laurie was great and she was the best part of our visit. We won’t rush back up here any time soon!

We had a wine tasting of their isosceles wine vintage 2019. The tasting were tasting of 3 different grapes, which we tasted and then could mix. A good idea. Compared it to Justin's mix. The wines were good but the arrangement is not acceptable. A crazy price for the wine tasting and not even some cheese or bread included in the wine tasting and besides 20 people gathered in one room.

I fell in n love with Justin Winery years ago when someone served me a glass of Isosceles. The wine blew my mind and I have been a fan since. Visiting the winery has been a goal of mine and I am so glad I had the opportunity. Beautiful grounds, knowledgeable staff to share the wines and stunning pours. Comfortable seating, lovely views, and thoughtful placement of fans kept us comfortable on a warm day.

When a few of our party were delayed, Mike never made us feel rushed. He was friendly and a great ambassador for the winery! We loved the wine tasting, the burgers, and the chocolate flight! Highly recommend!

I was a member before Justin was bought by Fiji. What happened to the fun members lounge? This review is on member "benefits" that have vanished. My sister joined a few months ago. A few weeks later, I drove down to show her the members' lounge which she was unaware of. We drive through the private gates and when we walked into the lounge it was empty of people. Gone was the fun vibe. Gone was the large center table that used to be loaded with cheese, etc. Justin was a fun place with fun events i.e. the August cave event with different food service on the gounds. Gone is the tent and fun putting green. When I lived in Paso, I would buy several tickets to the events and give them to clients. I can only assume that Justin does not treasure its members like they did in the past; 3 stars due to this no member appreciation. The Justin employee at the members lounge rescued Justin from a 1 star review.

Justin is totally worth the drive. When we got there we were warmly welcomed by Ernie. We were so impressed with the beautiful venue. We were so lucky to have Louie for our wine experience. He was so knowledgeable and made it so much fun too. The wines were amazing and we actually joined the wine club because it was that good. Louie introduced the wines along with out of this works chocolates. Highly recommend the estate wine and fine chocolates.

This is a beautiful location for a winery. it is set amongst rolling hills. The buildings are beautiful and the setting is comfortable. We had great food and the wine was wonderful. Our guide was so nice and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the experience. Don't let the "off the beaten path" location give you second thoughts. It is a beautiful drive and well worth the time.

Great quality wines, especially the Cabernet Sauvignon. Picturesque scenery. You can purchase nuts or chocolate, but can also make a specific reservation to include lunch too if you want a meal. Make reservations ahead of time. Friendly service

We went to Paso the last week of January 2024 and let me tell you that we met the most wonderful associate there named Andrew! He was so personable and knowledgeable about Justin wines, the vineyards and also the surrounding Paso Robles area!! Andrew set the bar so high for us that we will always come back to Justin Vineyards and hopefully we will be able to have him wait on us again! Thank you Andrew for making our 31st wedding anniversary lunch such a special memorable and wonderful experience!

We did a cave tour but did not stay in one of their rooms. The tour was nice and informative. The wine was good enough that we bought a case.

An absolutely amazing experience. The facilities are beautiful and spacious. The tasting menu was very creative and tasty. The service was one of the best we've ever had. It is very expensive but if you can afford it, you'll have an incredible experience.

What an incredible visit! We celebrated our 1-year at the winery, and with Erik & Yosh as our hosts we had a fabulous time 🍷🍇🤩 Their delicious wines were some of our favorites on this trip (which was split between Paso & Napa), and the tasty food from their kitchen to pair with everything really made it a stand out experience. Come for the wines and stay for the experience!

The views here were amazing. Check in was easy. We had to park in the overflow parking and someone was there to pick us up within 5 minutes. The wine selection was great! Highly recommend for the vibes and wines.

It's an absolutely stunning winery in the heart of paso robles. this was our first time visiting, and let me tell you, it's breathtaking. we went during the fall, and the colors looked stunning. this was a weekend getaway. we arrived on Saturday, but we had reservations from weeks earlier. this, the place is very popular, so I would suggest booking ahead. we got 2 charcuterie boards n plenty of wine. this is the perfect place to come and unwin. perfect for couples, singles, or any other occasion. it's a bit on the pricey side, but it's well worth every penny.

You have to experience this place! It has been over 12 years since we have been here. So much has changed! The view is still breathtaking and the wine is even better than I remember. But I must tell you to come here and eat the food!!!!!! I am a foodie and all the food we tasted was amazing. I am not lying. The steak cooked beautifully and the mushrooms made the dishes. Mushrooms even in the salad were over the top superb! Yes, the tastings were $45 pp, but waived with 2 bottle purchase pp. You get what you pay for. Huge open spaces, very relaxing. Plan to spend some time here, give yourself plenty of time to get to your next winery...at least 2.5 hrs later! Sooooo good.

The view is spectacular. There’s a panoramic view from the hilltop, you really can’t beat it. The view is probably factored into the tasting price of $50. The do have some food options available as well. We had a nice meat and cheese charcuterie board, just beware if you do a combo it’s that you’re ordering both and not splitting half and half. Amanda doing our wine tasting was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They have some excellent wines especially the ones not found at your normal retail store.

A So Cal DAOU rep shared the DAOU story and convinced us we must get by the estate. So here we are. The place is beautiful. Can’t believe reservations for a tasting has to be set up months in advance. Our group had a tasting and some oysters. Oysters were good and we enjoyed the wine. None stood out as extraordinary to us and our servers was a bit slow but very nice. They were filming a episode for Hells Kitchen so it seemed to be the priority and a little distracting. Wish the weather was better but we can’t control that. We will try again another time

Great friends get together or family outings of wine, food, and an awesome view . A panoramic view of mountain , landscape with olive trees and grape vine yards. No walk-in, needs reservations, and call ahead. We had a great cheese board with an awesome steak. Service and food was great. Tried a flight of great wines.

This vineyard is beautiful, definitely plan at least half a day to hang out in the seating areas. They do not sell wine by the glass, you have to purchase bottles. The charcuterie is worth it!!

This was the main destination for our wine weekend. The good: the view and the service. Really nice place to sit OUTSIDE and take in the views and wines. The downside: not really a place you can just stop by and have a glass. Reservations a must. $50 tasting mandatory. Did not like having to park half mile away in a gravel lot and shuttle to and from location (see last photo)

Our first stop in Paso Robles. Our hotel concierge had made us a 12 noon reservation. We had to park down at the bottom and shuttle up, but that was fine. The shuttle is quite nice. The views at the top are breathtaking. The service is top notch and we shipped three bottles home. Oh and my husband loved the oysters and we also enjoyed a mezze board. Definitely a must visit.

Let me start with the positive notes.. the views are spectacular! Upon our arrival we were greeted by a pleasant hostess. Our server (not even sure she introduced herself- long blonde haired girl with fake lips) was not that great. We were sited next to huge 2 dogs, and I was afraid for my 1.5lbs Pomeranian and asked if we could sit outside. She said we could sit outside, but that she would NOT bring us tastings as she said she was very busy. OK!! I thought as being a CLUB MEMBER we should have been treated better. So, every time we finished a tasting I would have to go inside to the bar just to see her “busy” talking to another server! Seriously!!?? We left the winery after an unpleasant experience with an unprofessional snob. Sad, that I signed up for membership and travelled 4 hours to pick up my wines. Given the wealth and reputation of the DAOU legacy the new management should reconsider their staff!

This is how your wine arrives when you are a club member! 93 degrees and ruined. The lady who answered the phone said “their wine can sometimes take this kind of heat” They ask you to keep it and wait to see if it’s ok. At $100 plus a bottle are you kidding me? If you purchase wine from them you may get these bottles as they were sent back! Needless to say , don’t buy any wine from them as they don’t care after the sale is made and won’t ship wine properly. I can only imagine how the store wines they sell are transported.

Wonderful day at DAOU! The Charcuterie board was amazing! The lamb and sea bass were delicious. Will was our host and was so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and wine in general. Overall, it was a beautiful day on a beautiful property. We'll be back!

Great wines, friendly and informative views, and amazing views. Had a 4pm reservation that was closer to when they closed, the perfect time for pictures with the sun casting shadows on the hills and trees. Didn’t get food but heard people around us talking about how good it was. Our somm, Jolene, was very nice and informative about their wines, the history of the vineyard, and provided great recommendations of other things to do in Paso Robles. Definitely one of the best winery experiences we had in Paso and a must-do if you’re visiting!

Had the best tasting experience here. Katie our server and Kenny were so fun to talk to and did a great job of sharing stories about the Daou Family, and their knowledge about the wines. The views were stunning and of course the wines were delicious! I highly recommend visiting and doing a tasting.

We had been wanting to stop here on our business travels, and finally had a chance to. Lovely tour of the cave. They recommend reservations, but we popped in and they fit us in. Great, FREE wine tasting and our tour guide Fiomma, was our tasting guide too. Very good wines. I left with 3 bottles and I desire to come back again!

First make sure you make a reservation as not to miss the most unique experience in the area: the visit to the caves. Lisa guided us through some informative tour and the history of the wine maker. Then Stephanie took care of the tasting and conversation in the tasting room. This was a wonderful experience. Thanks to all staff.

This winery is beautiful, and the staff are amazing--They gave us great recommendations about things to do and see in the area, and were incredibly nice. The cave tour was very neat and informative (and free!) And of course, the wine was wonderful. Will definitely be coming back!

Such a great winery in Paso Robles. Eberle has been here since the 70’s or 80’s making it one of the OG’s. They are known for their great red wines and their caves. You can take a cave tour, which I highly recommend. Tastings are still complimentary, which is truly a rarity, unfortunately, in the Paso area. Stop buy for a tasting and pick up a bottle or two.

We wanted to do some wine tasting and watch the sun set and we did just that at Eberle Winery. Customer service was great, wine tasting tour was very nice. We had a lovely time watching the sun set. Our experience at Eberle was 5 stars. Thank you!

Amazing wines. I have never loved all the white and red wines at a winery before. All were velvety smooth. I was amazed! Very reasonably priced too. The grounds are beautiful. Caves are amazing. Must see. And they give big military discounts. Highly recommended stop if you are in Paso

Made reservations online prior to visiting is highly suggested. Enjoyed a table on the outdoor patio and received amazing service from Jennifer who was running around everywhere making sure our glasses were always filled and gave the best recommendations. Walked away with a membership using my veterans discount of %50 off. Thank you for making our visit a memorable one and can't wait to come back and indulge in more great tasting wines.

Lovely winery near Pasa Robles with a free wine tasting (with a guitar serenade!) and cave tour with a fascinating look at their history and business. The people are so sweet. They also do great charity work- 100% of donations / select bottle purchases on Memorial Day weekend went to veteran related orgs. Just an awesome place.

I've been an Eberle wine club member for several years and didn't hesitate to book our destination wedding at Eberle Winery! Oralia and Cara were amazing event hosts! Our ceremony overlooking the vineyard was spectacular and our reception in the wine cave was so unique and romantic! I highly recommend Eberle for any special event. Their wines are all delicious!

We happened upon this local winery on our way through Paso today. What a lovely stop. Kirk was a wonderful sommelier who introduced us to 7 of the wineries current offerings. We purchased a bottle of the Chardonnay, the 2020 Cabernet and the newly introduced port. Definitely worth a stop. We did not tour the caves, but it sure would be fun to! Worth your time to stop.

What a great experience! It's so hard to decide which wineries to go to by just doing online research, and I'm very glad that we booked a tour and tasting at Eberle. Our guide was really amazing. The tour was very interesting and informative, and it was nice to see such a big production. It's amazing to hear about the history of the winery, and how significant of an impact Eberle had for the area. The tasting area is beautiful, and Eberle has got to be one of the only places around where the basic tasting is actually free. The wines are priced very well too, so it's easy to take home at least a couple of bottles. I do think we've visited some places in Paso Robles where they're doing more interesting things with wine, but everything that we tasted at Eberle was solid. My wife and I would highly recommend Eberle and will stop again on our next trip.

We walked in without an appointment, but we were able to do a tasting with Michael, who was very knowledgeable. Afterwards Michael gave us a tour of the caves, which are worth seeing. We ended up buying a case of Muscat Canelli.

Amazing experience and wine. Tour of the “caves” was fun and informative, Chardonnay was amazing - got a bottle. They have a cave room you can reserve -need to find an occasion to do so. Highly recommend.

Great tasting and tour. If this is your first time visiting Paso, this is a great starting place. Book the tasting and tour online. The process is very easy. And the follow up emails are good. Tasting is free. They have a wide rang of offerings. My personal favorite is Muscat Canelli. (think of it as the sweet fruity dessert Wine for a hot summer day) The tour to the cave is very fun as well.

This beautiful winery in Paso Robles has caves with free tours and free wine tasting. Nobody does that.

What a delightful experience. The staff that served us was extremely knowledgeable about wine and coffee. He walks us through each of the wine and explains it thoroughly. I appreciate the information that is provided with the wine tasting. The setting is nice. The tasting is done with you standing but the place is real comfortable. You can also bring your lunch or order from the food truck and sit in the picnic area. The sculptures are fun to watch. There re live music performance on some days.

Visited Sculpterra on our way to the Sierras. While I did not partake in the wine tasting, my wife enjoyed it quite a bit. The woman serving us and assisting us with the tasting and selection was very knowledgeable and really helpful. We bought a bottle to enjoy in our hotel later. To be brutally honest, it wasn't the greatest pinot noir I've had and it wasn't cheap. Although there were other samples on the tasting menu that were far better, but twice the price. So there's that. Outside, the sculpture garden is fantastic. We spent a couple of hours wandering the grounds. Some of the art is truly excellent. So even if wine isnt your thing, this place is worth a visit if you are in the area just to get some fresh air and stretch your legs. Make sure to walk through the vineyard up to the hammocks in 'Pauls Forest' for a very relaxing time-out in a wonderfully tranquil location. We'll be back and try a different bottle next time.

Loved everything about this place. The sculptures, the wine, the employees, the other guest. Such a great enjoyable time didn't here. So much so that we joined. Brice who poured for us was so fun, full of history and stories. The live music and food truck and added bonus.

If you are lucky to stop over, def schedule a tasting moment with Iddy! I even added a photo so you can locate her. Amazing spirit and kind woman. Super knowledgeable and shared incredible stories with us as we tasted through several well poured glasses of wine. Lovely.

Maybe my favorite winery in Paso. Incredible wines, over-the-top service from Iddy, tasty pistachios grown on-site, and beautiful art all around. What more could you want in a tasting? I’ve bought the Mega Focus at Costco since tasting, it’s especially great.

I was completely immersed in the atmosphere from the very entrance to the territory of the winery. Huge beautiful territory with unique sculptures, around vineyards and pistachio gardens, hiking trails. There is a playground for children and adults. The staff is passionate about what they do. There are many tables with comfortable chairs in the shade of the trees, where you can sit and enjoy the wine. If you wish, you can buy one of the sculptures. Spent several hours there. Everything is very atmospheric. You can try the grapes of different varieties from which wine is made. I have no regrets, I can only recommend that you definitely visit this winery. Many wines are presented, I liked Primitivo. I wish prosperity Sculpterra Winery

We did the tour and tasting. Worth every penny. Fraser was our host and he was exceptional. The wines are subjective as all are. We tasted and found several we liked and purchased. The grounds alone are worth the visit.

Definitely got the Paso Robles experience here. The property was amazing even on a gloomy day. We tried so many wines and collectively bought so many bottles in our party. Frazier was great at making our experience amazing. The art and iron work all around the property made it even better of an experience. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Came here on Black Friday after randomly looking on Google Maps for a place to visit - we were surprised at how nice and lively it is. The grounds are very large and open for people to hike around. The sculpture garden would be interesting for kids to wander around and there’s food and drinks for everyone. Definitely worth a visit when in town.

For sure it’s very unique place which was made with a big live to the art! Definitely, it’s like a live museum with many spectacular sculptures. The garden is with different sort of plants, there is play ground for the kids. It’s a very first place where I was able to taste not only wine, but also the grapes from which these wines were made. The staff is super friendly and one man told us a lot about this winery and grapes and wines. There are shaded seats and tables around the park. You can easy to find enough clean WC around. We found Primitivo wine like a best for us. We spent several hours here, enjoying this awesome place.

Fills your cup! Spiritually, artistically, and with excellent wines. The sculptures are so beautiful. Kathleen B was amazing and her love of the winery made you feel like family.

This place is amazing! It’s a huge sculpture, garden and wine tasting place right in the middle of Paso Robles county. You can spend the whole day you’re walking around, looking at the sculptures, the photos and admiring the scenery. This is not to be missed if you are anywhere close to the area. An amazing experience you will not want to miss !!

We cannot rave about this winery enough! We walked in at 4pm on 3/22/23, an hour before closing. We were greeted kindly and even got to do a private wine tasting with Bruce. Bruce was a FANTASTIC wine steward. He was an excellent conversationalist and knew so much about the wine, sculptures, the history of the winery, the staff and employees, and more. Without a doubt, the price of the tasting was worth it 5 times over, with a well-curated wine list, pleasant and accommodating staff, and a stunning location along with the beautiful sculpture gardens to walk through. Bruce made our experience so lovely and we will have great memories to bring home. We highly recommend stopping at this winery for anyone on a central California coast trip! 5++ stars.

Great winery with sculptures. In the Labor Day weekend, there is a food truck and live music in the garden. The wine tasting is $20 for 5 different wines. Great deal. Good place for friends and family gathering.

Of the pluses, one can certainly note a beautiful view. We had a table booked, when booking we clarified whether certain dishes would be available, we were confirmed that everything would be. We were 5 people, two of whom are already 70+ and one is in a wheelchair. There were many free tables, the waitress said that we can take any table and they will bring us a wine list, and then a menu. After sitting for half an hour, we did not wait for anyone. Went to the bar to order a bottle of wine. Before that, they wanted to try it first, to which we were told that “buy and try”. I can't buy a pig in a poke. We asked the waiter to come to us and return to the table. We waited for another half an hour and no one came up, although they approached other tables around and served. Let's go find out again. It turned out that those dishes that we would like, will not be prepared today. We were just shocked by the service. There was nothing else to look forward to. Live music was already playing, we enjoyed it and left with nothing. Of course, I cannot recommend this place to visit. I give 2 stars, one for the view and one for the music.

The 2014 Lloyd was my first love. I adore Calcareous, and every time I’m here, I’m reminded why. The views alone are some of the best Paso has to offer. You want scenic, rolling California hills, you got ‘em. My in-laws are members, and when they bring us here, it definitely feels like you get that special touch of attention. My first tasting ever was at the bar inside, years ago. Our sommelier was patient and helped me understand both the practice of tasting and the nuances to look for in each wine. I really appreciated the care, and I still think back to that first sip or two of the Lloyd as “the one” that got me into wine.

Was eventually greeted by a younger gentleman who acted as if our coming in for a tasting was a imposition. This was on a Wednesday with very few guests. Was continuously ignored by staff inside. We were seated though felt reluctantly and was uncomfortable. The wine guide was awesome though, and very knowledgeable. Wine was good, though not the best we had in Paso. The view was amazing, but maybe that’s what you pay for. The experience definitely could have been better unfortunately.

One of the best vineyards in the Paso Robles area for bold reds. Prices are very reasonable. Perhaps the best value anywhere in a wine tasting club. Beautiful and expansive views from their hilltop location. Very highly recommended.

Have been coming to Paso for many years and this was our first visit to Calcareous Winery. The wines are excellent and the views just as great, the food is on par with the wines! Hats off to the chef. Highly recommend a visit here. I have been to many wineries in around Paso but this place checks all the boxes. Don’t miss having a lunch here you won’t regret it. This was a very enjoyable lunch tasting experience, made even better by the views and weather outside at our own table with an umbrella to block the sun (and since leashed pets are allowed in that area, we were even able to have our bearded dragon along for the experience!) Our server was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and the wines were quite good… but not $60 per bottle good! That is one of the very few things that make me leave less than 5 stars — the wines are too expensive (though the $25 tasting fee is pretty reasonable compared to most these days.) Also, the cheese/charcuterie board was pleasant, but could have been better if they had told us what the meats and cheeses on it were.

Mixed review even with 4 stars. I joined Calcareous a few years ago and LOVE their wines. However, over the years and many visits, the service has gone downhill. I brought a group of 9 friends today for my 50th birthday. We had reservations at 11:00, and were 15 minutes late. Once seated, it took 10 minutes for someone to greet us and bring us wine. Our server Christian was great, but another lady seemed to have a chip on her shoulder about our group. Water was accidentally spilled on our table, and I went to hand Jackie (the employee) the wet menu. She acted like I just scolded her, and she rolled her eyes. It was rude and uncalled for. In addition to this, she moved one of our guests purses and was rude about moving it. If you're looking for a fun place, this isn't it. If you're looking for beautiful views and good wines, then it is your place. Just make sure to say you don't want Jackie, unless you love a rude server.

It was our first time here and celebrated one of our sister’s milestone birthday on a Saturday. We sat outside since the weather was perfect. The view, food and service were all amazing. I have been drinking Calcareous for a few years now (my favorite being the 2019 Moose) but this was my first time to the facility. The hilltop outdoor seating overlooked the spectacular views of the vineyard and the Salinas Valley. Our server was fun and knowledgeable and helped create a lasting memory. Will absolutely be returning in the future

Our group of 11 had a fantastic time at this vineyard. We emailed a couple weeks in advance and they responded within 1 day to confirm. The day of, there was beautiful table set up for us with flowers! The views are amazing from the hilltop. Our attendant Bryce was really accommodating and knowledgeable. The food was yummy- our table ordered the salad, burrata, burger. My favorite was the French fries with sun-dried tomato aioli. Prices are very reasonable.

It’s a nice place with a spectacular view. We only have trouble with ordering some food here sometimes went wrong that day. The prices are hight. The wide range of wine.

If you are in Paso or the surrounding areas, Calcareous is a must visit tasting room. The wine is delicious and they have a good variety. The view is breathtaking. The food is great. The staff and service is exceptional. They are knowledgeable and kind. On top of all of that, the atmosphere is relaxed. It is a great place to spend some time drinking amazing wine, eating good food, and having a lot of laughs.

One of my most favorite places to stay. Only three rooms here, quiet and secluded. Grab the folding table & chairs from your room’s closet, the prepared charcuterie platter waiting for you in the fridge (also a sparkling water) & crackers, one of the daily bottles of wine, glasses, and drive to the top of the hill behind you to a football field sized grassy area with the best view in town! #sunset In the morning, walk across the street, to the left of the small Mennonite cemetery, follow the dirt road (Dover Canyon) for a lovely walk. Come back & enjoy the breakfast that was prepared for you!

We enjoyed a wine tasting experience that was complete and not rushed. Extremely informative and fun. Then enjoyed a bottle of wine 🍷 with a an artisan stone oven baked pizza.

Just returned from a short 2 night stay at the Inn and it is a wonderful location. It is about 20 minutes from downtown Paso Robles surrounded by wineries, grapevines, open pastures, trees, deer and beautiful landscapes. The breakfast and service are excellent and I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing little retreat.

Beyond our expectations! The value for what you receive is exceptional. Full-sized semi-custom breakfast in the morning and generous portion appetizers and wine at night! A massive coffee maker that will make you any coffee drink you want from an espresso to a mocha with a touch of a button! We barely spent any money on meals and beverages!! All included!! The bed was super comfortable...not too soft and not too hard...just right! We slept great! The best part? The nightly Star-Gazing Show! The stars were so bright and big, you could almost touch them! We went with two other couples and had the whole place to ourselves!! The service was outstanding!! Dave, Rick, Annie, Selena, Kevin, Greg, to name a few of the wonderful people that made our weekend special and memorable! We definitely will be back!!

Our guests stayed here and we only visited in their room but I can tell you it was real nice. They had champagne, chocolates and a snack platter awaiting the. The champagne was delicious. Located in the Opolo vineyard you are surrounded with multiple picturesque locations. Their room also came with a fully functional kitchen and patio. It would be my first choice if I stayed in Paso Robles, Ca.

The server for our wine tasting was very friendly and accommodating. However, the wine itself didn't stand out, and there is no view of the vineyard from the patio area. The items on their food menu were also pricey.

We stayed here 2 weeks ago, and it simply could not have been any better. Everyone (and I stress everyone) we met was welcoming, friendly, helpful, and courteous. The setting was fabulous, quiet and serene; the room was spacious and spotless; and breakfast was as good as any 5-star hotel you'd care to visit. A special call-out to Selena who really made us feel at home, and her Mimosas weren't half bad either. Thanks to everyone for making our visit special, we will definitely be back.

This was one of the best experiences we have had with bed and breakfast. The property sits in the middle of vineyards with a beautiful garden in front of it. The inn host was super friendly and helpful. Guests have 24-hour access to the kitchen which is stocked with coffee, tea, water, and fruit. Breakfast selections were wonderful and made to order. You can also have mimosas with it! Will definitely return.

Tablas creek is a wine I’ve never had before going to a wine tasting here. It quickly climbed the ladder of my favorites. Very affordable, but extremely delicious. We loved spending our afternoon here

We visited Tablas Creek for the first time Jan 30. Terrence hosted us on the tour and tasting. Terrence is extremely knowledgeable, it was very educational and fun. We joined the wine club due to the excellent organic and dry farmed wines Tablas Creek produces. Looking forward to enjoying more of their wines along with visiting their facility again soon.

So fortunate that Ray was our guide through the fields into the tasting room. He was fascinating, fun and personable. We chose Tablas Creek because we are just starting to learn about organic regenerative farming. Exceeded our expectations in every way! My favorite of the day was luscious Le Complice!

Organic, sustainable, biodynamic, dry farm, estate winery. We did the red flight, nice wines, nice setting, good service.

Dusty was a fantastic host who ked is through the wine list. His expertise on the wines and history allowed us to really delve into the wines. We ended up purchasing a white wine. However, both white and red wines were consistently good! Highly recommend visiting!

Had an incredible tour of the vineyard on Mothers Day with Dustin who was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Tablas Creek. Hands down the best winery in Paso. Heavily French-influenced (only winery left in the United States that uses all 13 wine varietals). Wow what an incredible experience! Terrence and Ray were also fantastic!!!! Ask for any of them for a perfect time.

We really love the winery and appreciate how they treat their employees and the environment. We had a fun and informative time at the wine tasting. It's inexpensive and the wines are amazing and very reasonably priced. We love reds, but we had to include a bottle of Rose because it was so good and the weather has been very hot. :)

I want to start this by saying I have a lot of respect for what Tablas Creek has done and is trying to do with regards to sustainability and championing Rhone varieties in California. I only wish that they could extend that same respect (and instill that same respect in their tasting room staff) towards other perspectives on winemaking and agriculture. Organic certification doesn't neccessarily make your wine or agricultural practices "better"than those that follow other practices, or those who might need to use all tools available to preserve vines and ecosystem in response to a drastically changing climate. There are many ways to acheive the same goal, and looking down on other methods to get to the same goal doesn't do the industry any service. In the end, I left the tasting room less enthusiastic about the organization than when I arrived, and that defeats the purpose of the tasting room, no? Less proselytizing/hubris and (at least the appearance of) more understanding and welcome would work wonders.

This is where you come to get your crash course on all things related to wine. I should have had a notebook. Lovely reds and refreshing whites. Delicate and well cultivated bottles. If you are into experiencing some of the finest GMAs and learning about why they are special here. This is your place. We became members because we could not leave without a bagful of bottles. Now we find ourselves eagerly awaiting our spring shipment.

Didn't really enjoy the wine. The property probably has some beautiful views, but the outdoor tasting area has zero views of anything. No snacks of any kind to enjoy with the tasting. They were very busy, so we must be the minority, just wanted to share.

Hands down, one of my favorite wineries. I had heard amazing things before experiencing the wine myself, and I have to say, it all matched the hype. They offer three tasting options (white, red, mix), seven options per tasting, and each for $20. My husband and I opted for the white and red tastings. If you are new to trying this winery, I encourage trying both as it will allow you to try not only a large amount, but also try styles in both white and red. During our tastings, my husband and I continuously commented about how each wine was our favorite, until eventually they all made our favorite list. It was an easy choice for us to become members, and because so many made our favorites list, we ended up taking home not only our fall shipment but a few extras :) Additionally, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, easy to talk with, able to articulate each wine with finesse and just made the overall tasting incredibly enjoyable.

Wow, this place is awesome! This winery one of our favorite in the area. Aussy (I'm not sure how he spelt his name) served our tastings and was super super friendly and very knowledgeable. We loved interacting with him. Frankly, everyone we met there was super nice and a pleasure to speak with. The wines are TOP NOTCH! Very delicious and artful. They provide metal bottles and a refill station to reduce plastic. We are so glad we were able to make it out there. We bought some wine and would love to go back.

This place is magical! Every detail is thought of! I love how environmentally friendly in the way they farm. They care about keeping open space. If you ever have the opportunity to take the Defender tour DO IT! Very well planed and thoughtfully put together. You will learn and see a lot! The wine and food are amazing, but the staff is too!!

First time visiting this winery. Positives: Staff was knowledgeable and polite. Food was great, view was amazing! Joined the Silver wine club and picked up a few bottles, very good wine! Looking forward to drinking some fabulous wines from them in the near future. Cons: Staff is a little in “selling” mode which came through. Didn't offer to re-taste any of the flight- Members are free but “pamper me please!” I don't visit in person often! Overall a 5 experience! Visit them!

Picturesque location, extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Exceptional wines, what else is there? I have been to a number of wineries in the Paso region, and there are a lot of really nice places, and great wines. Halter Ranch checks all the boxes!! I've been drinking Halter Ranch wines for a number of years and getting some of the more reserved wines from another club member. I finally got the opportunity to visit the ranch and it far exceeded my expectations in everyway. I can't say enough good things about this place and the staff. In addition to my experience all the wines I tasted were really GOOD. The Syrah's are my personal favorite, but all the others were exceptional and unique in their own ways. I am now glad to say I am part of the Halter Ranch wine club so I am really looking forward to my next visit. It's a little bit of a drive from town, but if your looking for a truly amazing experience you have to come visit this winery. Thank you Ryan and the other staff members for the amazing experience.

We had an amazing experience at Halter Ranch Winery during our visit to Paso Robles. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch in their scenic outdoor area while waiting for our tour to begin. Our guide, Timothy, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us a great tasting tour of the cave where they age their wines - it was so cool to see the barrels underground. Both the wine and the hospitality were top-notch. This is a must-visit for any wine lover traveling through the area. Thanks for the great tour, Timothy!

Beautiful winery with a great view and exceptional wines! They also serve lunch and have wonderful olive oil. Karen was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed our afternoon there.

An amazing place in an amazing area of California. This was my first visit to Paso Robles and to this winery. There is pretty interesting history associated with the ranch and for what it’s worth, Reagan kicked off his reelection campaign here and flew into the winery’s air strip. The views are gorgeous and the place is amazing. Check out the train (many parts of it were brought here from Europe), Victorian house and amazing tasting room. The winery is known for it’s ecological and sustainability practices. I highly recommend the wine tasting and the service was superb. The Tannat is excellent. I would say that it has a masculine taste with a hint of blackberry. ;)

By far one of our best experiences of the weekend! Liam and Branden were amazing, can’t gush enough about the wines, experience, your etc. wish we had more time to spend there our do the picnic experience.

I recently dined at a restaurant where the food selection was minimalist, yet the quality was superb. Our choices included burgers, rigatoni, and a tomato sandwich, paired with delightful wine flights. The restaurant's ambiance and location added to the overall experience, creating a perfect setting. While it might be a bit pricey for a family of four, the memorable visit made it worth the cost.

Beautiful vinery on the hills in Paso Robles. Good wines and excellent service. We didn’t eat but all the food served looked really delicious. Views are amazing. Inside area with fireplace is very cozy, it has a large bar. Beautiful outdoor patio dining area. It was really nice.

Amazing 100% organic winery nestled in the Paso Robles hillside. The ranch was originally established in the mid 1800'sand now serves as an amazing winery and restaurant. You can't go wrong with great wine and great food not to mention great service.

Hello there - we were completely charmed by the Hunting Lodge, Margaret and the Halter Ranch property. I don't think this group will stay anywhere else! It was a perfect set up for 4 couples to stay. The rooms were so comfortable, bathrooms were gorgeous and the kitchen was perfect for us all to pitch in. There was even a couple of bottles of wine on the island! We enjoyed the outside fireplace and some good walks on the property. Just perfect. Thank you - we will be back next year! Jayne and Stuart Mann and friends

Margaret was absolutely a wonderful hostess as she worked with my husband to surprise me for my Birthday! Such a beautiful site, great wine, on-site landing strip and most of all the Pilots Cabins are secluded on the property. Very cute cabins and so relaxing. Fire pits, horse shoes, swing, extra outdoor restrooms with showers for after you’re in the pool, lounging areas and fully equipped kitchen. Wish they had the Train running on the weekends as that would have been fun to do. Thank you all for a wonderful weekend!!

Lunch was fantastic because the service was fantastic! Liam was efficient, cordial, easy to relate to, and told us good stories which added to the conversation and ease of being on the patio at Halter Ranch. The views were of vineyards, large oaks, and mountains, and we were quickly served our wine flights as we oerused the lunch menu. With more choices than on previous visits, two of us still opted for the sublime hamburger, but the others in our party were more adventurous and enjoyed other salads, soups, and main dishes. The portions are ample and we had no room for dessert, opting instead for a bottle of wine. The wines are among the best in our illustrious Paso Robles wine region, and we were not rushed and relaxed into the beautiful views, the delicious wines, and the pleasures of being with with friends on a lazy summer afternoon! Halter is my favorite winery for generous pours, great service, and lovely food and wine! Have loved every one of my many visits, and so will you!

We went to the Smoke and Rust BBQ, Antiques and Car show there and really enjoyed that venue. The planes are beautiful, and people brought some really nice cars for the show too. This event was a fundraiser for a pediatric cancer charity and was very nice to attend and vend at. I can't wait to go back and visit again.

A really amazing museum. The staff is really friendly and are happy to answer your questions. Seeing the jets and planes up close is really an experience that no picture can justify. Take a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing collection of Americana hardware that focuses on American ingenuity through the 20th and 21st century. Bring your kids here to celebrate the greatest country ever in the history of the human race before the left erases it from the history books.

Absolutely loved this museum! My 6 year old ran around saying wow look at this! He lived climbing in the planes and tanks that were open. Absolutely great! We will definitely be back!

This place is awesome! If you want to see some history of what our soldiers flew, drove, shot, or operated, then this place is a must see. I loved the aircraft, and military exhibits. Honor our veterans by stopping by and donating to this museum! There are displays of ammunition, radios, pieces of the Japanese zero aircraft, German Messerschmitt instrument panels... the list goes on. I hope to stop by this museum again. Remember, we would be speaking German and Japanese if our soldiers had not fought and sacrificed their lives for you and I!

Fabulous museum! We spent about 2 hours here enjoying all the cars, planes and WW2 memorabilia. So much to see and learn with cars that we had never seen before. Well worth the time.

This place is amazing. Plan to spend many hours to take it all in. Besides all the planes outside, there are 3 buildings full of war memorabilia, military weapons and gear, and even a building full of classic cars.

What an amazing place in a nicely semi secluded location. The people at the museum were very welcoming and took us in quickly. The wait was virtually none. You start in the gift shop and move onto the interior portion of the museum where there is so much to see and read. The description on their website is typically a four hour visit with a potential for a second day...that's very correct. If you stop to read everything and fully immerse yourself, it will take a while to leave the first portion of the museum. Once out onto the outdoor section, the places are spectacular. Some with their engines intact, other with their engines gotten, either one lends itself to great views. You can get up close and personal with the planes, just don't touch. Wheel bays are open and you can stick your head up there and look at the components that makes everything tic, but watch your head! You can essentially walk the entire ground with some exceptions that are roped off. There are planes, engines, tanks, missiles, munitions, plane restorations in progress, classic car/race car section and general reading. It is a blast for those who love wartime history and wartime relics. The classic car collection is massive, that was a pleasant surprise. I understand the preservation of the planes, but I would have loved to be able to enter one of their larger planes and just take it all in. As an aerospace tech, this was a great time. I'd definitely love to visit again. Great experience for my father and I. Great job Estrella Warbird Museum.

Such a hidden gem in Paso! We’ve been Paso Robles so many times never found it until this trip, and so glad we went! You can feel they put a lot of love into this museum, and did their best for maintenance. It’s much bigger than it looked like, I thought we were only going to spend 1 hour max here, but ended up staying about 2 hours!

A hidden gem! My husband and I love history and so museums are always on our agenda. This place is amazing and I could see us coming back to check it out again. The docents are friendly and available, but let you go at your own pace. You could spend hours here and still not see everything! You never know how big these machines are until they are towering over you. A great day here and so much history you can feel and touch!

A must see when visiting Paso, but also a must revisit for those of us that live in Paso. They update the museum and rotate in New planes etc often. Very knowledgeable staff and guides. Everyone is super nice, and it's all for a great cause. They have a great mission statement too. Be sure to ALWAYS donate more than just the entry fee. This is to preserve our great history, and educate! Love the Warbirds Museum!

Good wine, but even better service. Went there during the pandemic for the first time and wasn’t impressed. Decided to give it a second chance and we loved it! Went with some friends this past weekend and we all had a great time. Our host was extremely hospitable, welcoming, overall great. Wine tasting is not only about drinking good wine but about the experience and we thoroughly enjoyed ours. Our hostess made the difference. Thanks Niner!

We went to Paso the last week of January 2024 and let me tell you that we met the most wonderful associate there named Dusty! He was so personable and knowledgeable about wines and also the surrounding areas!! Dusty set the bar so high for us that we will always come back to Niner and hopefully we will be able to have him wait on us again at the bar ! Thank you Dusty for making our 31st wedding anniversary lunch such a special memorable and wonderful experience!

Yes, the rumors are true, this place is incredible, it smells amazing, the building looks really good, scenic grounds, the food is was some of the best in Paso Robles, the wine tasting was the most complex experience, our host did an incredible job of explaining when we were experiencing, very knowledgeable of every aspect even the most technical curiosities we might have had! It was a truly unique experience and can’t wait to return!

My wife loved the tasting, the server was nice and gave us a run down on the family and winery, the food was really tasty, the portions are not big but really good and the outdoor seating and view is really enjoyable

This was recommended by someone at another winery as I was looking for a filler before a later appointment. It was the most expensive tasting I did on my trip ($40) and honestly, I was not impressed. The tasting room is very impressive, including probably 50ft ceilings, but it felt extremely formal. I also think they didn’t like that I didn’t do a food pairing with the wine tasting. The wines were good, but not good enough to buy for the prices they wanted on top of the tasting fee (you had to buy 2 bottles for the tasting fee to be waived, and the cheapest were $45 and it went up from there). The server I got was nice and did his best to allow me to try a number of wines along the line of what I like, so he was by far the best part of my experience. I can’t recommend it – maybe it is good for some, but not for me.

Excellent food. Excellent wine tasting service. By far the most efficient and professional experience. The view from the patio was wonderful. To be honest the wines being tasted were good but not worth the prices. My advice is to go for lunch and buy a bottle. Skip the price of the tasting.

Niner is a must when visiting Paso. I have been many times over the years and it continues to be one of the best. The wine is really good and so is the food. It is worth getting the tasting and planning on having lunch or an early dinner. Be sure to make a reservation. They do fill up.

We took our daughter and friends for her 40th birthday and had a great time. Andy introduced us to the beauty of the winery and grounds, and the staff were wonderful and very attentive. I would definitely recommend spending time at this delightful winery enjoying the wine and the view!

On January 24th a group of us took a tour of the Niners orchards and facilities. We were lucky enough to be there during a bottling. We were invited to go up into the room where the process was taking place, and although a little loud as expected, the technicians were more than happy to explain in detail the process and answer any questions. Our tour guide Jay couldn't have been more fun, informative, personable, and passionate about what he does. The wines were exquisite, the facilities exemplary, and the staff so welcoming and intuitive of our desired experience. I cannot say enough about this company and the commitment to excellence. Reservations are a must at Niner. We have been trying to get in for 3+ years and we are so pleased we finally made it. Matt, the front host, was spectacular. After learning we only drink reds, he quickly appeared with “greeting glass” of a very nice red wine! Our waiter Matt was spectacularly knowledgeable, friendly and catered to our wine preferences. The charcuterie board is a must! Gorgeous property, gorgeous reds and amazing food!!

We tried both the seasonal selections and their premium selections and thoroughly enjoyed both. The highlight of our experience was the host, Brian. He was able to share a lot of knowledge about wines and answered all our questions. As my wife and I are new to wine tasting we felt Brian taught us more than we thought possible. He made our experience exceptional with his kindness, service, and generosity. We now appreciate wine more because of this experience.

Its been 5 years since we visited, things have changed in Paso. No standing at the bar anymore, we were sat down and hosted by a wonderful gentleman named Dave. He led us what is best described as a wine journey, spent 2 hours with us, and told us in detail how the winery operates and how they got thru the pandemic. At just $20 per person, it was a bargain. He liked us and pulled some special wines, off the tasting menu, for us to try. It was the highlight of our Central Coast trip.

Great range of wines, white and red, and we were heavily recommended by many folks about J. Lohr. Overall wine tasting experience was excellent, friendly and helpful folks. We did the Legacy and Winter Seasonal indoors as it was cold 1st week of January, yes both tastings and they were amazing. Our group loved the remodel of the indoor wine tasting room as we have tried to go in the past and they did a wonderful job. Took a picture of the menu of the Winter Seasonal. Hope that helps anyone, seasonal was 20 dollars and Legacy was 40? (I think). 2 bottle purchases wipe the tasting fee as in most places. Always recommend to reserve ahead of time. If you join the wine club and live further north, you can also align with the San Jose location for pickups of your wine! Other tips, it was baby friendly. Parking was easy, right off the main road. They didn't have a charcuterie board, but maybe that was due to 1st week of January, but maybe check. Go, visit, and enjoy the great wine of J.Lohr!!!

Very nice wine tasting experience, must do the special wines for $5. Special list are the best wine I have ever had. Overall location is beautiful and winery experience is awesome. Must try!

Had a very nice visit despite rather loud construction all around. The team allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the cool, sunny weather even though the patio was closed. Cassie was a wonderful wine guide and we enjoyed some excellent wines and shipped a handful of bottles home for Thanksgiving dinner thanks to a low shipping fee. Especially at the moment, it’s not the most elegant or grand tasting room, but the folks were kind, attentive, and knowledgeable, with zero pretense.

Jared was awful and rude. We were the only ones in there tasting and he would leave us for 15 minutes at a time. He said he had other things to do! We had reservations too! I love the wine. I Will never be back! Worst experience wine tasting ever! So sad... Such good wine.

This is a very large winery as a business and many people may not consider visiting. That would be a mistake. Like many other large wineries J Lohr also has some unique, small release wines that taste a lot different from the grocery store fair. We were hosted by Ariane who took very good care of us. Some sips and a lot of conversation later we left very please with our experience. She was knowledgeable, attentive and engaged in the process. Of course it helps we came on a Monday. On weekend one is bound to find large parties drinking a lot and demanding. Not good for those who like to talk. I am glad we came and recommend

Great view of the vineyards from the ranch-style tasting room. Boasts 7 Oaks as the most popular Cabernet Sauvignon sold in the US. Tasting selection includes one or two types of a varietal. Friendly tasting room staff. Will definitely return!

2.5 hr drive, with a 3pm appointment, as a lone traveler, seated alone on the porch. I had a much better time winging it and finding some amazing wineries along the way.

So happy they welcomed our spur of the moment decision to visit! J Lohr wines are consistently delicious, but the library wines - oh my! We enjoyed our visit with Cassie as she taught us about the wines we were tasting and their regional geography. We’re looking forward to returning for club events!

I did a solo visit to the winery last week and was happy I did. I was guided through the Cuvee Tasting by Geraldine - who was very knowledgeable about the winery and the wines and was great to have a few conversations about wine, travel and engineers. The wines were great and I'm sad they can't ship to Canada. The pricing was reasonable for the tasting and that was waived with a 2-bottle purchase.

Visited J Lohr Vineyards for their Legacy Tasting and was impressed. The flight of wines gave a nice overview of their reds selection. Great way to sample different varieties side by side. Staff provided helpful info about each one. Pairing with the charcuterie board made it a tasty experience. Definitely recommend checking out this tasting to learn about J Lohr's wines. Such a great experience! Our host Geraldine is very knowledgeable and friendly and hilarious. We ended up with the 2022 October Night Chardonnay and the Vista Chardonnay. I am a philistine when it comes to wine and I normally don't like whites, but they are delicious!! I feel like I got a good wine education and a great deal!

Sat. Aug. 6 This was our first time doing this, and I think we picked the perfect Winery/Vineyard. And we got the perfect server as well. The scenery was gorgeous. We sat outside, under a canopy of trees, with a beautiful view of the vineyard. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable. He answered all our questions about the winery, vineyard, and gave us a couple of good tips on where to go for our next stop. The grapes/wine in the Paso Robles area are a little on the dry side, and not our favorite. But the flavors were amazing. This is a great place for couples or small groups to sit and relax outside in the fresh air. Oh, we bought a bottle of their Trentotto Anniversary Blend. We would definitely come back.

A great stop for wine tasting, enjoying the beauty of nature and also playing a round of disc golf! The Italian white wine varietal (first on the mixed tasting list) was my favorite. Worth a stop and very family friendly. They even have a few disc golf holes near the tasting room to practice putting!

Love this place and their wine! Been coming here for tastings for years and finally signed up for the wine club - super reasonable and free shipping! The wines are delicious, both red and white. The open seating area is great for tasting, the staff is wonderful, and the wines are always amazing. I like fruity whites, buttery Chardonnays and bold peppery reds - they have them all. Will keep coming back and until then, going to enjoy my wine clubs deliveries!

My partner and I visited on a Friday morning (Nov 18th) having searched Google to find a winery to visit before we left Paso Robles and we were so glad we chose this place! We didn't book in advance but that wasn't a problem as we were seen to as soon as we walked through the door. The service from Greg was amazing, we had such a fun morning trying the wines and chatting. We would highly recommend this place. The cost of the wine tasting was very reasonable when compared to others in the area and was refunded after we purchased a couple of bottles.

Excellent wine and the ambiance and service is amazing. There are snacks such as olives, cheeses and crackers to go with your wine and the outdoor area is beautiful

We enjoyed the wine, it was delicious! Sherry took fabulous care of us, indulged us with pertinent history and information without being overwhelming. We could’ve listened to her all day. Of course, we became members and look forward to our return tastings and free shipments.

Tony is so sweet and very knowledgeable! Wine is delicious, $20 for a flight is reasonable and all are delicious. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained, relaxing experience. Drank wine while my boyfriend played disc golf for $5 at the on-site course, loaner discs available! Highly recommend.

Yes, the wine is tasty, and the scene is marvelous….but for those of us who enjoy Disc Golf, this place is a major gem, and super fun course.

We had a delightful Sunday afternoon with Madeline (sp?) today! Our experiences at this winery and their sumptuous wines keep us coming back! Six times in 12 months from Bloomington IN. As we left today with smiles on our faces and some wine to enjoy in the future we remarked that it felt like leaving home. Our dog loves it too, was in a great hurry to get there even without tasting the wine. 😎 Thank you Castoro!

This is the only winery & vineyard in the country that has its own disc golf course on the property. The experience I had here was great. The thought that went into designing the disc golf course really shows. I love how they incorporate the wine barrels into the course. I love seeing all the huge oak trees. The best part is after (or before) your round you can drink wine from the tasting room. My favorite was their Zinfusion. I wish I lived closer by so that I could play here more often.

This was my first wine tasting ever and Tony TRULY made the experience worthwhile. It is a shame I live so far from Paso Robles as I would come here every weekend if I could. He is what made the experience great for us. He knows so much about the wines and his storytelling on the history just made everything spectacular and made me appreciate every wine I tasted. Please come on a TUESDAY, FRIDAY OR SATURDAY so you can see TONY! I enjoyed every wine he brought out and for $20 a flight, you cannot go wrong. It can even be both a mix of red and white if you prefer. Thank you Castoro for the most memorable wine tasting I will ever have!

Loved this place! Nice drive up to the top of the eastern slope of the coastal range. The winery is pretty, the surrounding views are nice. I sat on the upper deck outside. It was a 10:30am tasting, so it was nice a cool (could be pretty hot mid day). They knew in advance I wasn’t a white wine fan, so they tailored their tasting for me for all reds (and softer reds knowing that in advance too). A very nice women not only poured the wines, but gave the history behind the varietals and where the vineyards were. She took me well off the tasting menu. She even allowed me to taste a port they normally don’t include in general tastings. I loved it and bought a bottle (as well as another bottle of the Cab I tasted), and that waived the tasting fee. Everything I tasted was extremely good. I highly recommend.

Wow! By far our favorite place. We had a private tour and our guide made it an experience. We loved the ambiance, person, wine and the paired foods. We loved the whites and reds. We couldn’t leave without filling the car with wine and promising we will be back.

Beautiful winery, enjoyed their wines, Zinfandel was very good but they don’t serve any food , which was disappointing. Our server had very casual appearance and attitude. They do allow outside food on their back patio , which we learnt on getting there . They customize the party’s name on the Menu , which was kind of cool . They also have Tesla charging station in the parking .

My wife and I visited Adelaida on our second day in Paso. We had such an enjoyable experience here. The tasting room was beautiful and our server was warm and friendly. The wines are amazing and we signed up for the wine club immediately. We love the value for the quality of wine, and the fact that they offer free shipping makes the wine club even more appealing. We absolutely loved everything about the experience. Teresa did such a wonderful job sharing the history of the founders, the vineyard and the wines. We had never tried Adelaida before this trip, and are so happy that we did. The wines really are masterpieces. The zins, syrahs, cabs.. All amazing! We are back in the midwest, enjoying a beautiful bottle of the 2019 Cabernet received from our latest shipment. With so many vineyards to choose from, we are so happy to have visited Adelaida. You all are doing an amazing job and we are happy to be wineclub members.

One of the most beautiful properties we visited in Paso. If you can, sit on the balcony. Romeo made the wines very approachable to our group and was very knowledgable. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Beautiful view, beautiful wine. It wasn't very crowded which was surprising as it was probably our favorite Paso winery. Our server was very nice and helpful. Only small complaint was they don't have any snacks to enjoy with the wine. At least have some crackers.

Wonderful winery with great wines. They personalized our tasting menu and made us feel very welcome. They have a unique tasting experience by providing mini carafes on the wines they're sharing. The staff is friendly and informative. Prices are reasonable - a little on the high end but not very pricey. The wines taste great and the location is nicely tucked away in the hills around Paso.

Highly recommend for all ages! Just took our 19 y.o. here to celebrate her birthday - we had much more fun than we ever expected. Loved the attentive and fun Lifeguards at every ride. Glad to have healthy food options.Lockers were smart. We we were there on a warm August Monday, but didn't need a Cabana. We also just enjoyed being around other families that were having a great time.

Been coming here with the kids for the past 5 years always a hit. I would recommend getting a cabana but up to you. Well maintained friendly staff.

Very clean. Made it 11:30 on a Sunday and slides had little wait. Got busy after 2 pm. But we had ridden everything a few times. Waterside are a bit dated when you compare to newer waterparks. (Need a funnel ride) Although Vertigo was a pretty cool slide that I had not seen at any other park.

This is a nice family oriented water park. The little kid area is spread out without large structures, so easier to keep track of children. There are tons of inner tubes in the lazy River, making it easy to snag one. The wave pool is fairly gentle, and the water rides are about medium thrill. Fun but not that high. There is plenty of shade and lounge chairs evrrywhere. Lots of cabanas everywhere. I was most impressed with the food, which is prepared on site. The chicken cesesr salad was fresh, with fresh "grilled" chicken (cooked in the pizza ovens I am told). By far the best amusement park chicken cesear salad I have ever had. The hot dog and fries (enough to split) eaten by kids, looked tasty. The bar area is surrounded by hedges, away from water areas. They have a great senior citizen discount, too.

I haven't had a lot of water park experience but I had a blast of a day here. This is not the biggest water park I've heard but that makes it manageable and the kids could easily find their way back to the Cabana. We went with a pretty large group and you can rent these cabanas which have servers that come and take your orders for food and drink. The service was great except the kitchen was slow "due to COVID" and the associated low staffing issues that seem to be happening everywhere. So can't really fault them with that. There were certainly plenty of lifeguards who were great and heavy on the whistle if there were any shenanigans. I didn't do many of the rides but my 8 and 11 year olds reported back that they were great. As was the lazy river and wave pool. We stayed the night across the road at the RV park so that was handy after too many "Ravine-a-Rita"s. In short, a fun day was had by all...

Customer service is wonderful! I have enjoyed The Ravine in the past, however I no longer live in the community and still receive emails. I accidentally purchased season passes and would not have been able to use them as I am states away. The Ravine got in touch with me during off season while closed and still worked with me! So very appreciative of their outstanding service from previous experiences to now.

Such a fun day! Me and my friends are all about 30ish and had a great time. Warm weather fun slides and good vibes. The food is amazing here and fairly priced. Great local Waterpark. Feels new and some of the rides are really exciting. The food is great and service is fast. They have healthy options and better quality than any other Waterpark I visited. The crew was super friendly, too!

Always a great time. Family oriented and plenty of lifeguards to keep the peace. Service is impeccable, especially if you rent the cabanas. Food is great and water is cold. Plenty to do for all ages.

Great place for every age. We have gone every year since it's opened and my kids get excited to go each time. Well worth the money and this last weekend they had a special online on tickets. We payed 79 for for of us versus 100. I wish there was access to more floats and life jackets but if u search and wait u will eventually find one. I love the fact it has a special section for babies and toddlers. My daughter's love the water slides and never get tired of going down them. They also have a bar and food stand all around the park.

Fun for the whole family, kids had the biggest smiles on all day. Not too expensive and a fantastic way to beat that summer heat. Highly recommend buying the tickets in the off season if you can. Nice to have a water park so close to home.

Great for a fun family day trip! The slides and kiddy area are so much fun. We took our 3 1/2 month old and he loved the kiddy pool and the lazy river. I love the new additions they have added, like the bar area to the lower level of the park. I will admit it is a little pricey but worth it! If your a local I recommend getting a season pass for $80.00. Make sure to bring your own water and snacks for your kiddos to save some money. I would have given it 5 starts but the lady at the front is always rude and the girls at the snack area are extremely slow. I waited 5 minutes for someone to take my order and there was no one in line. The wave pool and lazy river are definitely my favorite! Stop by and cool off during these hot summer months!

Perfect place for summer fun. Water slides, wave pool ,kiddie pool etc are super fun.There is a vast picnic spot with corn hole games,mini golf place .Also there are a few picnic tables just outside the gate in the shade for someone to like to have their food.

Oso Libre is one of our favorite Wineries for many reasons ! Love the seating overlooking a beautiful pasture and green hills, Service is fantastic and we always get to chat with the Winemaker Michael. Oh don’t let me forget the Wines...oh the Wines! One last shout out - check out their Farm raised Angus beef !

If you want to experience personal, warm and amazing treatment while drinking some of the most amazing wines, make this your regular stop. You will not ever want to drink the regular fare at the corporate, commercial wineries again. Have never had a wine we didn't love, the struggle is how to pick the few additional bottles on top of our club membership, so we always walk with an extra half dozen plus bottles of wine we enjoy whenever we go out to a nice dinner. Friendliest staff around make you feel special thru your entire stay. Michael the winemaker visited with us for quite a while and we got to enjoy a great discussion about food, cooking and wine. Best day ever.

Oso Libre stood out over all of the wineries we visited during our recent trip to the Paso Robles region. Consistently memorable offerings down the tasting sheet punctuated the day. Looking forward to coming back out for one of the quarterly (?) barbecue parties featuring local meat and their wine! Update: Visited again, enjoyed a tasting, and left with another bottle. Oso Libre continues to impress! Thanks for letting us taste the Solera!

Excellent location, 5 tastings all Excellent wines! Our server very educated in all varietals we tasted. Bought 2 excellent bottles of Bordeaux. Will definitely go back, make a reservation!

A wonderful sustainable winery. We had the tastings with the tour and it was excellent. Not only did we get a charcuterie board to have with great wines. We had a tour of the property with the wine maker. You can tell that this is a labor of love.

The grounds are beautiful and the wine has a lot more character than most. I think a lot of this is due to them aging the bottles quite a bit longer than other wineries. Regardless, they make fantastic stuff.
