Enjoyed the park, beauty, hospitality - even in the off season they are open, let you walk and tour facilities on your own, see the track, box houses, go to stadium, tour beautiful grounds, see horses ( early in morn), see gift shop etc. It's all very clean, well maintained, quality painted, seems like nothing but the best everywhere. But the landscape, seems like thousands of acres of beautifully maintained grounds. I can't even keep my little yard half as good as they keep there's! Now the gift shop is exquisite too both that's both in quality too and the related prices.

Spectacular track! We were able to catch an early morning practice - which is free and open to the public. It was 29 degrees and sunny - which made for a magnificent experience. We parked and walked track side and wee so close we could see, hear and smell the entire experience. I definitely recommend calling ahead for hours and training location, this changes depending upon time of year. Of note is the Track Kitchen restaurant which has an amazing breakfast special and is worth checking out after you watch the horses run!!

What a blast! I haven't been here for 30 years , it was amazing how it changed, I remember pulling up in the lot next to the Grand Stand. I was VERY happy to see the spittoons were gone! Also that people dont throw their tickets on the ground anymore. The dress is a lot more casual than I remember. There were several people who took benches and moved them in a U shape to reserve them. The people behind us did that and never filled all the seats and also blocked the aisles making it difficult to get to and from our seat. All in all it was a great day and we had a great time. Its a beautiful track.

Great time in the STAKES Room. Very nice atmosphere on 4th floor. Bar and food all included, and a betting assistance. Outside there is the balcony for great views and pictures. Food was excellent. Staff was superb. I asked about finding cheesecake and was told in the Phoenix Room and was going to get a slice after the current race, since the Phoenix Room faced the paddock. Within ten minutes some walked up with a slice of cheesecake and asked if i was looking for cheesecake... now that is service.

Most fun you can have in Lexington for $7. Parking is easy. Shuttles take you to the track. Each day has multiple races. $2 minimum bet. Get the program and pen for $5 They even have experts there to advise you if like most folks you have no idea about what is going on. See the horses in the paddock and then watch the race from the general admission area the view is excellent. You can bring in some small camp chairs if you need to sit. For food absolutely get the Ruben and for dessert the bread pudding is an unbeatable classic. Have a great day doing some People watching and enjoy all the outfits, dresses, hats, and fanciers. Once you put $2 on a horse to place another $2 on one to win and final $2 on a couple to show your invested and will find yourself yelling "come on 3 let's go!!!" And high fiveing strangers over your win. Or commiserating a loss. Really, if you have a free Wednesday to Sunday in this area in April or October you must visit for the culture the fun and just general pleasant vibes.

We visited the track early on a beautiful summer morning. No meets at this time of year, but we grabbed breakfast from the Track Kitchen and enjoyed it while waiting for the horses. Very fortunate to see training at the main track; watching them run is a sight to see. Also drove around the grounds - gorgeous! - and really enjoyed our time here. Definitely worth a stop even in the off-season.

This review is for the tours only. I’ve never seen the races so I cannot comment on those. However, I’m sure it’s exhilarating. Our tour guide was Diane and she was absolutely fabulous. Keeneland is rich in history, beauty, and experiences. I would definitely recommend doing the tours if you are not familiar with horse racing. They have several different tours so pick which one suits you best. I believe tours are seasonal; call or look at their site to make sure. They also have so many events throughout the year so make sure to stay up to date on those! Overall, just a great central bluegrass Kentucky experience. Definitely a must-do if you’re here during Oct and April. Thank you Keeneland for your hospitality, we can’t wait to visit again.

One of the nicest race tracks around! Beautiful grounds, well-run, clean and wonderful staff! Prices are reasonable at the vendor stands and plenty of choices for food and drinks. Must buy tickets in advance to ensure you get in; races were sold out when we visited. General admission is $15 and get there early to get a bench. Good idea to bring a bag chair; no backyard to sit, no coolers, no backpacks. Great experience!!

Iconic racetrack known for quality horse racing. Great atmosphere, good food and overall fun experience. Had a person in our group in a wheelchair and they provided a free shuttle from the parking lot to the gate.

We love this racecourse. When I think racing, I think Keeneland. They have a wonderful old tradition feel with a wonderful staff. This place is a well oiled machine. Multiple Stakes races and the Bluegrass Derby Prep is a must see. Top quality place.

One of my favorite places! I love dressing up and attending either the spring or the fall meet. Definitely a smaller, more intimate, and a more beautiful venue. I love how the horses are walked in the paddock before each race! The staff are always very friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong with buying tickets for the dining rooms - absolutely no lines for betting or drinks. General admission tickets are fun too

My favorite & most beautiful horse tracks in the US. Everyone is so fun & happy during the spring & fall meets. Get to see some of the best thoroughbreds in the world, with the most beautiful scenery in the background. It’s a bucket list item for any horse racing aficionado.

We were here today for an employee tour only. The day was rainy, but it was so incredibly beautiful. I learned so much from Paul, our tour guide! He was knowledgeable obove and beyond mere Keeneland history. You could tell he was a lifelong lover of the sport! One of the points he continuously reminded us of was the desire for Keeneland to remain historically beautiful and maintain a glorious green space. They have done that so well. It was a highly wducational experience and I enjoyed every minute! Races begin next Friday and I would love to go back!!

The Masters of Horse Racing! Gorgeous racetrack and immaculate. We went on a drive two months before Derby Day! The staff is hard at work and preparing for open season! So much parking and horse stables every where. Library on premise and a restaurant. More info to come when season starts.

Great traditional horse racing track situated in beautiful Lexington Kentucky. Amazing grounds and pastures that seem to go on forever. Reasonably priced food and beverages.

The weather for the opening of the 2024 Spring Meet season was less than ideal for our trip to Keeneland, but it did not disappoint in any other way. Keeneland is a beautiful facility, that is impeccably clean with staff at every turn to help make your visit a memorable one. There is nothing like feeling the rumble of the horses in your chest as you stand next to the track for the final stretch. We are from Illinois and have traveled to Lexington many times as we visited three of our children who have lived there while attending the University of Kentucky. We have taken friends with us on our last two visits and they too have fallen in love with Keeneland.

I was advised to go before 10:00 a.m. so I could see the thoroughbreds work out. It worked, delightful to watch. Then was able to see November Breeders auction. Beautiful horses brought on the stage and bid on--most bidding done within 90 seconds. Grounds are beautiful and relaxing. No costs to walk the grounds.

This is a race track, but also seems much more. Pageantry when the races are going is interesting, diverse and elegant. The mood of the place is festive, somewhat relax for the uninterested aficionado and exciting. Food and drinks seem to be in abundance. Staff is helpful and gentle. The place cater to all members of the family. Facilities seem impeccable. Definitely a good activity to do, if in the area and especially during the main race seasons (spring and fall).

Interesting to see the horses and the barns. Good amount of walking to get to it all. We went in fall which just was beautiful . The different buildings to see the history of different things was cool to see and read about. We watched some of the shows withthe horses and that was worth seeing so pay attention to the time. My granddaughter enjoyed going on a horseback ride which is an extra cost for that but she loved. Worth going to and experience it.

Magnificent horses! The museum was awesome. The horse show was short, but sweet. You can get up close and personal with the horses after the show. Wear your walking shoes! It is very spread out. Unfortunately the trolley was not working. Also some of the other shops were not open. Make sure you take the survey and get your free gift from the gift shop! $6 parking. $20 admission

We stopped at the Saddlebred Museum first, which I would recommend. You can buy tickets there for the rest of the park, and it's less busy. The staff was all very friendly, some with golf carts offering to help shuttle people from barn to barn. We missed the meet and greets, but still met a police horse and a draft horse named Gus (we were told he's a fan favorite and understand why). I was excited that there was a restart on site, but the food could've been better. Overall, we had a great time, and our kids (all ages) had a great time, too.

Absolutely a must-see! We stayed at the campground next-door for three days which was nice. We went to the horse park not knowing exactly what it was. It was amazing! So many horses to see and pet. So many helpful people to talk to. I would give it 10 stars!

Great park to see former champions and maybe learn a little more. They have a nice set up for kids, but this park is for all ages. Former Derby winner Funny Cide steaks the show. Paul, who you'll find very near to Funny makes the experience exponentially better. He is very knowledgeable and gives the park and Funny a voice worth hearing. Highly recommend.

First time here at the horse park. What a lovely day to visit such a lovely place. We enjoyed a carriage ride by the two draft horses as the lovely tour guide explained the park. This place is amazing. This park is so large it would take a whole day to see it all. We enjoyed the museum. It showed the history of horses, the racing trophies and the Derby clothes that people wore throughout the years. We took pictures with Funny Cide the 2003 derby winner. Thank you to the officer who introduced us to her horse.

Lovely place to walk and enjoy the many horse breeds that are represented there. It is a beautiful park with pony and horseback riding available. There are museums and many barns to get up close and personal with the horses. I went there for an event that brings horses and riders from all over the world.

Wonderful place to visit if you are in the least interested in horses. I visited for BreyerFest, an event for model horse collectors like me. Visited with husband and another couple who are collectors. I will say that in July you will likely be subjected to some pretty miserably hot conditions for most of the park, but the visitor center & other buildings are well climate controlled, including the Alltech Arena where many large events take place. Visitor Center has nice gift shop with something for everyone, including cold drinks & snacks. It also has nice clean restrooms. Leashed dogs are welcome nearly everywhere in the park, but be aware of your pet’s needs for cooling down in the Summer. There are fun things for kids to do, such as pony rides, opportunities to pet animals and a playground. I plan to return in nicer weather to experience some things that I missed, such as the museum & trail rides. There is a large campground with water & electric and also primitive tent camping. We tried to stay there, but waited too long to book, so RV sites were full. Next time I will book far in advance & go in Fall or Spring!

So glad we decided to go here! We had a great day. The gentleman in the Champion Barn shared some of his knowledge and brought one of the horses out for us to see. We went horseback riding around the park. The gift shop has a lot of cute stuff. We did the scavenger hunt in the museum and got a blue ribbon for finding everything. I would recommend stopping by!

The trail riding area was HORRIFIC. Over 20 horses left in a tiny pen with tack on for hours at a time. They were sad, looked sickly, some were clearly lame and one especially was so under muscled that you could clearly see its spine. Then they put a saddle on it that was way too far up the neck. Tack was dirty, saddle pads were ripping to shreds, and tack was ill-fitting. They loaded up the beginner trail riders and sent them into this packed pen full of angry horses kicking and biting horses with riders on them. They also physically tied a draft horse foal to its mothers halter, both were freaking out and stressed, posing a huge risk for mom and foal. The staff we met here (so far) have no idea what they are doing. The landscaping was not kept nearly as well as other farms we visited. Very disappointed. The stables were almost completely empty at 3:30 even though they said they close at 5:00. Absolutely ridiculous.

It's a nice place. Giant museum. Tons of cute horses but this pretty lady was a pleasure to meet. Her name is lovely and she's 15yr old supervisor of the park if you see her, feel free to pet her.

I unfortunately called this place after hours right before the sun was completely down. I don’t think I got the traditional experience, however I did walk around the property. I got to see some of the Hall of Fame horses relatively close, got to see the stables up close where they held some of the horses and learn some history about the sport. This property was massive and seemed to be very well-kept. I don’t know too much about it, but it was pretty fascinating and I would absolutely love to come back another time during the day and get more of the traditional experience. If you’re looking for a unique experience I think this is definitely a good place to go if you’re not from Kentucky. It seems there’s a lot of local heart poured into this sport and facility.

We enjoyed our visit. There is a lot to see. It was neat going in the different barns and looking at all of the horses. The shows through our the day are a must see so you get a glimpse of the horses in action and learn a lot more. The museums are very detailed and informative. They have a ton of reading. Be prepared to walk. It takes a bit to get from A to B. Overall we enjoyed our time and it was well worth the stop. Overall we did expect to see more horses. With name we expected every paddock to have a horse. Horses were only in barns and there were some empty stalls. It was a cooler day when we visited.

Very cool experience! Tickets are for a two-day admission and you definitely could spend two days here. Events are held about every 45 minutes.

We had the BEST time. I think the Big Barn was the overall favorite but all stops were fantastic. I do wish they showcased a few more breeds during the breed show- we were enjoying it so much! If planning a trip, check the events calendar and you may be able to catch a competitive horse show while visiting- which we loved. Highly recommend!

We have been going here for Southern Lights for years. It has become a traditional between me and my brother. The lights are very good, but I do have to say there aren’t many new additions. It appears to be the same scenes over and over. The walk through the park is nice and they seem to offer new vendors and attractions along with some of the traditional events. The food and drinks in the cafe are pretty pricey. You kind of have to pick and choose what you want to spend on without paying an arm and leg.

I recently visited the Kentucky Horse and had a really good time. The museum tour was very informative. I have never seen such beautiful horses. The staff is very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend anyone visiting Lexington to go to the Kentucky horse park

Coming from out of town, I was only vaguely aware of the importance of horses to Kentucky and Lexington in general, but learned quite a bit about equines and their history. The negative I think of this is there is A LOT of reading in the museums, to the point where it becomes very hard to pay attention and retain everything. Seeing the old horses in person and talking with their caretakers was very interesting. A good time overall!

My fiancé took me here for my first Southern Lights experience, and it was absolutely magical! They had so many different displays, a lot of which were seemingly animated (had lights flashing on and off to depict movement)! My fiancé said it is usually very busy though, especially around Christmas time, so it may be wise to buy tickets in advance. Once we got to the park, it was really cool! There was caramel corn, cotton candy, and a free petting zoo. We got to go around the park itself, and see where the horse races happen. We also went to their gift shop to purchase a classic Blue Monday Chocolate, and some souvenirs for some friends. I definitely recommend this place for a winter festivity!

Wow!! This place is amazing. I imagine in the spring and summer it's rather busy. We went in late fall early winter, and it wasn't very crowded, which made for an excellent visit. We got to learn all about horses, see amazing pieces, and even pet real winners. Check out this sculpture of secretariat, zoom in on it, and all the metal is horse related shapes!! It's such a wonderful place with amazing staff!

A beautiful place, full of equine history! We went here for the Liberty Festival but made time to drive around the grounds to see the beautiful views. You must stop in and take the tour of the museums and barns. Lastly, we visited the final resting place of the great Man O' War and War Admiral.

We finally got back to Lexington and the brewery and distillery were open for touring. Our tour guide was informative, entertaining and engaging. We arrived early to gift shop and purchased a sample flight of the beers before the tour. This allowed us to use our samples on the spirits. Everything was good and we enjoyed the variety. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Good tour, beautiful buildings.

Had a wonderful experience here and ended up with a private tour. Our tour guide was GREAT! The tastings were fun and educational. The tour was full of information and our tour guide made it fun. I recommend doing a tour here and definitely buy a bottle of the coffee bourbon! It's absolutely amazing!

I came here on a private tour and had such a great time! Our tour guide, Boyd, was fantastic. He was both personable and knowledgeable, and didn’t mind answering my endless questions. We had so much fun that our whole group wanted to be his friend. The facility was beautiful, and I highly recommend the later tours for the gorgeous view of the sunset.

Beautiful facility, easy to find and the tour was an hour which felt like the right amount of time. Also an opportunity to taste their offers from the brewery and the distillery. Great little shop too! Definitely worth a stop in whether you’re bourbon lover or not.

Great tour with amazing connection to Irish whiskey and specifically the Pierce Lyons Distillery in Dublin. The tasting is nice with options for those who prefer beer over bourbon and even have a very nice selection of gin. This is the place to buy Pierce Lyons in the US and the 12yr is especially good!

Stopping by for the only brewery/distillery on bourbon trail. Their flagship Kentucky bourbon ale is awesome. The townbranch single barrel never disappoints. This time we got to try their maple syrup cask beer and bourbon, it’s heavenly awesome. Currently is slow season, so getting in wouldn’t be a problem. Tour guide was fun and educational. The place is very clean and inviting.

We had a great a tour and tasting at Lexington Brewery and Distillery. Maria, our tour guide, was fantastic. The tour consisted of a tour of the brewery and then the option to taste beer followed by a tour of the distillery and then the option to taste bourbon. Everyone is given four tokens for tastings and it is up to you how you want to turn them them - either beer or bourbon. The tour group size was small and felt very personal. It isn’t a 21+ distillery only, but I would suggest if you don’t have too - then don’t. There was a small parking lot. Restrooms where available in the gift shop only.

Came in for the evening tour and tasting. Small group so very intimate and personal. Guide/bartender was great. Good selections to pick from (choice of 2) plus a cocktail and special sample. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stopped here while we were passing through town and I am so glad we did! We posted up at the bar and split one flight of beers and one flight of the harder stuff. Our bartender was incredibly friendly and attentive, and we all shared quite a few laughs. The beers were all delicious, and I especially recommend the vanilla and orange ones. I was very excited to try the rhubarb gin, but am sad to report that it didn't taste as wonderful as it looked. I love that they drew from their Dublin location for the decor and ambience. It definitely kept this spot unique and I'll be back anytime I'm in Lexington!

The tour was so engaging and informative! This was my third distillery tour but I still learned something new. The inside of the building is beautiful! I definitely recommend taking a tour (especially since you get 4 tokens to use for samples!), but there's also a nice sitting area outside that anyone can use.

Loved this experience at a smaller distillery. Smaller and also better! Tour guide Steven was superb. Tastings of the brews and the spirits were informative and fun. Loved the unexpected Bluegrass Sundown tasting...bought a bottle AND the awesome glasses to serve it in. So great to have a bottle of the Town Branch True Cast Bourbon too!

Family came in from Seattle and of course a distillery tour was a must. I've been to some of the other distillerys in the past, but let me tell you we enjoyed this tour way more than the bigger places. Beer, Bourbon, and Gin.. so something for everyone. Our tour guide (Adam) was so fun, and engaging, we were laughing and smiling the whole time. I would highly recommend recommend making this a "must stop" for anyone visiting!!

Fantastic tour of a legendary brewery and a distillery with rich heritage. Tasting tour included four samples of any of their beers or spirits, including an incredible 12 year Irish whiskey. Tour guide, John, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. The facilities were fascinating, especially how they actually explained the similarities and differences between spirits and beer. A must see on the bourbon trail.

Great brewery and bourbon tour, Augustus was great and all the spirit’s had a wonderful blend of flavor. Bought the Bluegrass Sundown!

There's definitely a clear difference in customer service at all the distilleries. I think the attentiveness of the gift shop personnel can be worked on. Steven was a great tour guide enthusiastic and a great brand ambassador. However, I wasn't prepared to see fruit flies in a lot of the bottles at the tasting. On the tour we were told the bluegrass sundown was a visitor center exclusive and only able to be purchased there. I was just in my local liquor store and I see the bottle.

Tom, our tour/tasting guide was incredibly knowledgeable and informative! Enjoyed every minute! We could tell he really enjoyed sharing his knowledge, and interacting with his guests. Definitely worth a visit. Only takes about an hour at most to do the tour. They have note cards in each room to tell you the significance of certain items in that room. There are also pieces furniture and other items that belong to Mary's Niece Katherine Helm. Small little gift shop on site, it was a little pricey or at least in my opinion it was, 6.99 for a small magnet was a bit much.

I have been to several history houses and this place could have done so much better. We made reservations in the morning. Once we got in there, I believe Elizabeth, gave us a quick introduction of the house. She was very knowledgeable but then she finished and told us we could walk through the house with the self-guided tour. It would have been so much nicer if she could have walked around and explained things. I also never understand why every "history house" will not let you on the 3rd floor. They always seem to be storage or office space. Office space for what? They had 3 people in the house that wouldn't answer questions. I was also surprised that they had converted many rooms into a gift shop or bathroom or office space. Many of those rooms could have contained more displays. I do realize they need to make money but give me an awesome tour and you will probably get a tip.

I enjoyed the tour. I think the guy I talked to was Jacob, he was very knowledgeable about the place. There was a couple of areas that were not the tour, like the attic, but there was a sign there to tell you about it. The back yard garden was pretty neat too. And there is a gift shop around back as well. I got some t shirts for the kids and magnet for the fridge. I wish in retrospect I would have gotten an pair of the Abe Lincoln socks they sold.

Really neat to see one of our 1st ladies homes. We need more women in history spots like this in America! Very informative, great overview by the greeters, self guided at your own pace which I loved. Beautiful garden out back.

We loved our tour today with Durbin. I am seeing Mary Todd Lincoln for more than just the wife of Abraham Lincoln. Durbin was so knowledgeable and we appreciate him answering all our extra questions!!!

We spent an hour here on a self-guided tour, exploring the rooms and reading the information provided. This was an important place for me to visit, as I have been fascinated by Mary Todd Lincoln since I was little. I found the information on her formative years interesting, as well as the more current view of the contribution that enslaved Americans made during that time period. I realize that it was her childhood home, but wish there had been more information about her later years, which are so interesting. The staff were kind and happy to answer any questions.

Not a big place. But it gives a very good picture of the life Mary Todd had. Do note - there is some parking around the back side of the house. The signs are easy to miss.

My wife and I are both history nuts, so we both really enjoyed our visit. I liked that their is a tour guide but you can also explore the house on your own, beautiful house, very historic.

Well, it cost $15 bucks per person, and i went with my wife, daughter, and son in law . it is a self guided tour. It wasn't that fascinating to tell the truth. it was jaw-dropping. History in that era wasn't the best, but I like history, so we went . But in my opinion it was not worth the money at all. Note the people running it were very knowledgeable and kind. the man working the second floor was so funny. I'm sorry I forgot your name if you are reading this.

You have admission but your self guided tour is very informative and they do answer questions asked and we enjoyed the garden afterwards to relax in on the way out. Worth the money. Another part of Lincoln's life to learn.

Easy to go by because I was expecting a small house. Mary's father bought a tavern in a foreclosure sale, and it has five bedrooms. Well, it was preserved with many original artifacts from the Todd family. First home preserved to honor a First Lady in the US.

Learned something new today about Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln. Great little piece of history to discover here. Kind of over kill on the attention given to slave labor though. I think we all know by now it was a part of our dirty past. Sad, but a fact of life then.

Nice visit to the Mary Todd Lincoln House. Good historical facts and artifacts about and from the time period. Place was restored starting in 1976 and has the intent of the time when the Todd family lived there. Gardens outside with bathrooms. It's self guided but has experts onsite to answer questions. Two floors of fun. I appreciate the factual tributes and mention of the enslaved persons' contributions throughout the home. It was 1800s Kentucky....

This is the house Mary Todd lived in as a teenager. They have done a nice job of trying to recreate the space she lived in. While it is a self guided tour there was a docent on both floors to answer questions. Very pleasant stop while traveling.

Went to see Dude Perfect there. Bathrooms were relatively clean and there were okay concession stand options. Very cool entry area and was well run. The requirements said "no outside drinks or food" but our drinks got let in. The sections are very easy to differentiate and big numbers and lettering make it easy to find your seat.

Very nice. Easy to navigate to your seat and plenty of staff to help guide you. Very secure. Clean restrooms. I was very let down that more big screens weren’t used. The arena has plenty, why didn’t they use them? Idk.

Had club access for the Jonas brothers and it was WELL worth the money. The parking was a tad hard to find but after following some other cars, the private garage and private entrance were perfect. I would get club access solely for the private restrooms. The appetizers were pretty good as well. If you have a show coming up at Rupp, this is the way to go.

Came here to see Fall Out Boy and Jimmy Eat World. It was an amazing time. Loved every moment of it. And the employees were so friendly with helping us find our seats and with ordering food and drink. Can't wait to come back here again soon

We had amazing seats to watch Reba McIntyre.... The arena was much easier to navigate than I thought it would be they had a straight line ready to go to where our seats were.... very organized!

Spectacular Arena! Parking right outside the Arena is $20 for UK basketball games. Other parking further away for $10 if you don’t mind to walk. Very clean and some of the best food you can find!! Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, is a great venue for college basketball, concerts, and shows. It's much nicer than the KFC Yum! Center in nearby Louisville as the parking is better and more convenient, and seating more comfortable. Generally speaking, it's just a better venue in every aspect. All said, I recently took my grandson to a monster truck event at Rupp Arena and found that it's a bit small for this type of event. Having been to larger indoor venues where these events have taken place, more floor space is needed for these large trucks to really show off. It was a great show nonetheless and left thoroughly entertained.

Attended a Concert there, bought tickets through Ticketmaster, got too event seats were taken. Asked security 2 to ask the people to move and was told to move them myself, after finding out right before we arrived at our seats a fight had already broken out over this area and seats. We where yelled at and cussed by people because we couldn’t set down because our seats were taken and we’re literally told to set wherever. I set in the steps which is a fire hazard and never even got to set in my seat that I paid $100 a ticket for!!! This place has horrible security and it’s a very unsafe environment for anyone to attend any venue here!!! I set on the steps Ind don’t of a pole for $100!!! Pictures below and it’s totally unacceptable and unsafe!!! I was section 225 Row A seats 1&2 and you can clearly see they were in our seats and wouldn’t move!!!

Me and My Husband had the best time of our lives. We saw Jellyroll, Yelawolf and struggle 10/10/23 it was EPIC!!!!! Beers and mixed dranks are 11$ 9$ they were delicious 😋 we got in fast. They had there team on point. It wasn't to bad at all. Best arena I've ever been to love it

Great place to visit, iconic venue! It's a big place but the parking isn't too awful far away. Everytime Ive been there I have really enjoyed myself. If you have a chance check out the sports or something they are having there. Especially the gymnastics meets! Support University of Kentucky!

I’ve been here 8+ times for concerts and sporting events and it’s always a great experience. Very clean, friendly staff, great Food and great atmosphere. I was recently at the arena for the first time since 2017 and it was just as great as I remember it! Love this place!

Very nice stadium. Can see the floor pretty good from everywhere. My wife is a die hard UK fan so it was super fun and exciting for her . Parking could be a little better but besides that no complaints. Definitely recommend if your any kind of sports fan. The atmosphere inside when playing is hard to describe without feeling for yourself.

Very clean arena with great parking. Came in town for a lil Wayne concert and thoroughly enjoyed ourself. Will definitely come here again to watch shows and things. My only suggestion is get different food and drink vendors. Definitely more beer options.

Went for a high school graduation there today. Though helpful with handicapped folks, like letting us bypass the security lines, the place isn’t as handicap accessible as one might think. There are platformed seating areas with folding seats, which are nice But a guy with a bad knee and cane must walk a distance to get to seating. And restrooms are generally not close to most sections. After graduation was over, it was a long walk back to handicap parking area. Knees hurt badly later in the afternoon.

JamFest Cheer and Dance Showcase! The young ladies and young men did not disappoint! Pretty sparkly outfits! Athletic abilities at its best!! The flips, the flies, the tumbling! Awesome!🤸🏾‍♀️😁

Home of the historic Kentucky Wildcats, I'm happy I got to see this historic stadium. Drove here and parked near the stadium, pretty easy and the parking wasn't too expensive. Easy to walk over and scanning tickets to get in. Lots of food spots. Pretty nice experience, huge ceiling and kinda feels like an NBA stadium. Cool to see the rafters of individual players who came through the program as well as successful teams.

Had a wonderful time at our first game (first event) at Rupp. The security personnel impressed us beforehand, maintaining order but also being kind and courteous with the crowd. Inside, the attendants were very friendly and helpful. One even offered to take a photo for us. The arena felt like an overall safe, inviting environment. The restrooms were also in decent shape, especially for a venue of that size.

I was presently surprised. My first time at the Rupp arena and it was very well done. Security was quick and efficient, there were staff at all the doors and gates so you could get in with no issue. The concessions were quick and efficient and even the sale tables went well with as many people as there were. I loved spending my end of year with The Tyler Childers Band. The music carried us into the New Year with a full heart.

Went to the Gabriel (Fluffy) Iglesias concert. It was fabulous! The only thing is, I wished the seats weren't connected together. When you get multiple large people seated together, they push into other seating, so you only get half of a seat.

Had the BEST experience! The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, it really helped me feel "at home" and comfortable in a setting where, usually, I would feel very uncomfortable. It made the event (Disturbed with Falling in Reverse and Plush as openers 😉😉) an even more memorable experience. Would 100% make the trip, again, for a future event 😊😊

This was a nice place to visit while we were in Lexington. I have been to several "history houses" so they didn't do bad. I was surprised the grounds around the house were in desperate need of being cut. Once we got inside our guide did a very good job. I was a little surprised that this wasn't Henry Clay's house, it had been torn down by his son and later rebuilt with the same floor plan. The Lady doing the tour did a very good job telling the history of the house. Some of the layout of the house was really off. There wouldn't have been a Nursery on the first floor, the servants rooms wouldn't have been where they had the display. I am surprised that the Kitchen had been repurposed as another display and not the actual Kitchen. Also as usual the 3rd floor is not accessible and the basement was not set up for tours. I am sure it is difficult to raise funds to have the whole place available. I also thought their lead Historian would have had more things researched for the Tour Guides to present.

Very peaceful, pleasant place to hangout or walk through. Lots to learn about the property and its history through markers on the property. Dogs love it as well

We have been to various estate/mansion tours across the west coast and this was one of our favorite. The family lived at this property for so long, that the amount of history & artifacts here is astonishing. Beautiful residence & the tour is extremely informative. What a great experience!

Amazing tour of a beautiful place. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. The property is beautiful, the house well maintained and full of beautiful details. The grounds well maintained and the small Ginkgo Cafe had yummy homemade gazpacho and other tasty food.

**Updated from my former review ** Went on the tour this week and it was stunning all decorated for the holidays. It was a thorough tour of the house and we felt we got our money’s worth. $25 for an hour and then about 30 mins exploring things that were open outside. Cute gift shop carries jam and local items. Bringing moonshine jam home to CO! Didn't go in because the tour was full, but was able to explore the gardens and the beautiful path around the house. Nice way to spend 45 minutes and you can still look at some of the things around the house such as the barn, and "cold storage".

A neat insight to history. Beautiful grounds & garden. Guided tours are the only way to visit the inside of the house. Tour guide was knowledgeable and gives good insight to Henry Clay's life. Gift Shop & Snack Bar on-site. Parking is free.

The neighborhood was better than the estate itself but it was cool seeing the garden. One thing I really get tired of is visiting these places and seeing America celebrate slave owners. There were a lot of great men and women of this country that were on the right side of history in regards to slavery and we should celebrate them not men and women that owned other human beings. We as Americans should be able to at the very least agree on that basic point.

Great tour! Very covid safe with only 5 people in the group including guide and masks required. The history is interesting. A lot of the tour was about the family and the house itself, which was neat to learn about, but I would have liked to understand more about Henry Clay himself. The grounds are beautiful! Nice place to walk. Make sure to stop by the garden.

It was a great tour. The house was spectacular on the inside and out. One of the best things about the estate was that they turned the grounds into a park so you can walk around and enjoy nature.

We have never been here before , came from over by Louisville. Not a lot was in bloom so wasnt expecting that. Still was pretty and well kept. Loved the sculptures throughout. Was disappointed in the size, looked bigger online. I will say will not go out of way to come back, maybe for the monarch migration.

I'm so glad I made the stop to visit this beautiful arboretum before leaving Kentucky on my road trip! I was worried that since I was visiting in October, there wouldn't be anything blooming, but i was wrong! There were so many beautiful flowers blooming, some I had never seen before! There are plenty of trails and wooded areas great for walking or jogging, and a beautiful trail that meanders through the gardens and has sign indicating each plant's scientific name. There is even a trail garden where they grow flowers to test out for a local nursery!

The Arboretum is a really nice place to walk about (as much or as little as you like). Lots to see (different views, different flowers and plants, depending on the season). Joggers, dog walkers, couples (seniors and young alike)...different gardens in scattered about areas throughout, beautiful organized and marked (many plants are labled/tagged for identification)... you may come across artistic creations and metal sculptures and fountains also. Great place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful walk, or run...and educational, as well!

Excellent arboretum, education, research, memorials... Beautiful walking paths & perfect picnic spots. There are so many many delightful corners here, you'll never run out of new discoveries!

Lovely gardens and Arboretum. A little weird to be asked why I want to enter the children’s garden (by staff)without having children with me. Gardeners often have Children’s Gardens or corners in their own gardens. How will people learn about Children’s Gardens without observing them? Adults viewing gardens are just that-adults viewing gardens. Also, some of the gardens, especially in the Children’s area, are quite overgrown.

Such a wonderful place to visit, any time of the year. There is a good variety of flora to explore. There is essentially one main walking loop with a few side trails, but in the end that’s not really a detractor. Sometimes parking in the main lot is a bit tight or the restrooms are closed, so make a pit stop before you go.

Amazing grounds. Seems like it goes on & on for miles :-). Definitely a great place for a walk or like me to see what grows where and make notes for my garden.

Beautiful cemetery right off Main Street in Lexington. The cherry blossoms are a big draw every year when they are in bloom. We might have missed peak by a few days, but they were still worth the drive. We did make it a point to go by John Breckenridge and John Morgan's grave. The Morgan monument used to be downtown but was moved to the cemetery.

Absolutely stunning cemetery. So peaceful and historic. Very well kept.

I went to Lexington Cemetary to visit beloved actor Jim Varney's grave and pay my respects to his legacy and for being a big part of my childhood, and I have to say his head stone is one of the most awe striking I've seen, with the masks of a Smile and Frown complemented by the black marble material and "Varney" writen in large letters. On our way out I was amazed at how beautiful the grounds are, grass is kept at the perfect height, ponds have fountains spewing water, stone benches line the banks, it was serene, peaceful and quiet, it was perfectly closed off from the surrounding city. If you are in the Lexington area I would recommend paying the place a visit.

Beautiful cemetery with well-kept grounds. It was perfectly scenic for a peaceful morning walk. Really enjoyed my time here, and look forward to returning. There is some kind of commercial property toward the back of the grounds (I couldn't tell if it belongs to the cemetery or is a another business), but cars were speeding through the grounds to get to this location. Just something to be mindful of if you're planning a visit.

Lexington Cemetery is a must-see in early spring with the Cherry Blossom's blooming!

Visited here to see the grave of legendary actor Jim Varney. We did not expect such a beautiful cemetery! Perhaps one of the most beautiful and most fascinating cemeteries that I've ever visited! Must go back someday soon!!

Lexington cemetery is really beautiful. They have signs on the edge of certain sections that tell you, you are at the grave of someone famous or very important to Kentucky history. Not all famous have those signs. The reason I kept it from 5 stars is the speed limit. 20 mph is way too fast in a cemetery. Speed limit should be around 10, maybe 15. 20 is too fast and people walk around the cemetery with their pets and people don't slow down when passing another vehicle. Can't tell you how many times I encounter an unsafe vehicle at the cemetery during my visit.

We were in Lexington this past weekend for a concert and drove past a cemetery about a mile from our downtown hotel. The next morning as we were leaving town, we decided to spend a little time going through the cemetery. It was the last weekend in October so it was absolutely beautiful. Such rich history and includes the tombs of Henry Clay, the Todd family (Lincoln’s in-laws), and Coach Rupp of Kentucky basketball fame. It also had a national cemetery within its borders as well as an arboretum. If you love old cemeteries, this is a wonderful location to visit if you were in the Lexington area.

One of the most beautiful cemeteries in the entirety of Kentucky! It is really well kept, and has great scenery. There is the large Henry Clay memorial which has got to be over 200 feet! There is also some veterans tombs, and really old stonecaps!

Well maintained historic and public cemetery with decedent's from 1700s on up. Very large cemetery with very large and old trees and lakes.

Rarely, do we walk hallowed grounds like those present within the Lexington Cemetery. These marble and granite monuments to those who have passed before us still have the power to shape our experience. This location exists like a time capsule full of local, regional, and national history. Anyone wanting to know more about life, dedication, and sacrifice has but to walk these hillsides and read the plaques and inscriptions. Truly a moving location. Everyone should visit and spend some time just quietly taking it all in.

Nice little brewpub near our hotel. Typical garage door/picnic table terrace, but it was crazy hot out so we went inside. Service at the bar. Very good variety of beers, there were at least 20 taps, with anything from Mexican lager to Belgian triple. I had the flagship pale ale and the Berliner Weiss, both pretty good, the Berliner especially. I like the fact that you can get food from the restaurant next door, the fried catfish was great. I took a sixer of IPA to go, it's okay. Prices decent. A nice neighborhood brewpub.

There's an amazing beer selection at West Sixth Brewing. They have their best sellers year round as well as canned and available in most liquor stores around the state but they also offer an array of drinks that you wouldn't even know existed unless you visit the brewery itself. The bar staff are super friendly and helpful to get you the right type of beer for your preferred taste. The atmosphere is typical for a bar setting, just a basic corner bar shape. The rest of the facility is inviting with tables and other comfortable sitting areas, also outside tables are available. The tables are a nice commodity since there is a Seafood restaurant inside. Where you can get a nice lunch or dinner, Smithtown Seafood if you need to look up the menu, highly recommend. Great experience, check West Sixth web page for tour times.

Our planning team had a tour and tasting led by Tim, and I was blown away! To learn about how beer is made there, the different community involvement and activities West Sixth Brewing participates in, and ACTUALLY changing my mind about all beer tasting nasty gets this place a 5 star rating. Plus, I learned they grow their own lettuce for the food served at the restaurant next door! 🤯 Completely recommend!

Cool spot to grab a drink and watch some sports on TV. They have a good selection of items on tap. For those that do not want beer, they also have some other options available. I tried the house made Paloma, and was pleased with it.

Great beers, good food, pleasant atmosphere. Nice selection of home-brewed beers both on-tap and to carry out. Friendly staff and a wonderful outdoor seating space that is pet friendly. Food ordered from restaurant next door was extremely tasty and delivered right to the table. Definitely will be back next time I come to town.

Over the years I have been a regular at several establishments and I have traveled enough to be a one time or occasional patron at hundreds of bars across the country. First, the beer is great. They have a wide variety of solid old faithful recipes, but they also are not afraid to push the envelope. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly (depending on your perspective) If you are in town, I highly recommend spending some time in their taproom. I have visited Lexington, Kentucky to see my wife's family at minimum two to three times a year since 2015. During every visit, I have made a point of stopping at West Sixth. In the dozen or so visits to the brewery I have had a delightful experience every single time. Whether on my own working remotely from their bar or with my wife or in-laws, the taproom staff has been knowledgeable and struck up easy conversation as if I were a regular. The above is the mark of not only a great brewery, but a great institution.

One of the best breweries in Kentucky. A night in Lexington…..I couldn’t leave them off the list. Their Christmas Ale is absolutely awesome! Highly recommend.

West Sixth Brewing was directly across the street from the Airbnb that we stayed in for our Louisville trip, this place did not disappoint. The beers were great (their Fuzzy Fields IPA is a must try - I even left with some cans to take home). Everyone was so friendly and sociable! Great little spot & in a great area.

Stopped in for a visit last Friday because we were in the area and really enjoyed our time at the West Sixth location in Louisville. We only had time for a pour each but even though the brewery was busy, we were greeted promptly upon walking in and served quickly. When we are in Lexington again, we will stop by again!

Stopped through on a road trip and everything about this place was 5/5. Really friendly staff and locals, very diverse selection of tasty beers and it’s connected to a fish and chips spot for some grub. They’ve got a big indoor space and open air room leading to a patio. Pet friendly 🐶 We will be back!

Went vacationing to hit this Brewery!! Amazing selection, the craft beer is phenomenal!!! The People and Service were amazing!! The food was fantastic too!! Took home merch and craft beers. Can't wait to visit again!!!

Wonderful brewery with a very diverse offering of brews, ciders and even a cocktail! We ended up at West Sixth sort of by accident, so glad we did! Emily was great, super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Hubby and I each did a self pick tasting so we could try all the different categories! The 1906 Lager was both of our favorites so a six pack had to come home with us! The one I'd totally have again if I was sitting at the bar right now would be the Oyster one! Can't remember the whole name of it, I think it had "cowboy" in the name, but I do remember Oyster! It came with hot sauce!! The hot sauce was the clincher, totally changed the flavor and made it irresistibly savory with a wonderful back flavor!!

The horses and jockeys great pieces of art and history. They along with the historical figures’ plaques around the park were kept extremely clean and in excellent condition. The grass was clean. While I enjoy the beautiful trees, I wish there was an informative tree label for easier determination of whether the nuts and all from it are safe or poisonous to dogs including my little medical service dog (@MaizyShiba). There is some parking there on the street; however, I don’t remember seeing a single disabled spot not ramp. It is just one step up onto the curb and a very short walk, but some disabled need a ramp for their walkers or wheelchairs and parents for their strollers. The huge Christmas wreath was a nice touch on the sign. No bathrooms.

Great life size bronze statues of jockeys and their Thoroughbred Horses. Great place for photo op near the fountain as well. Worth a quick visit!

Stunning sculptures await at Thoroughbred Park This park spans 2.5 acres, and is a tribute to the Thoroughbred industry. You can admire seven incredibly life-size bronze racehorses, all masterfully crafted by renowned artist Gwen Reardon. There are 42 plaques honoring industry legends as you stroll through the park. While the vicinity can be a bit challenging with parking, locals are welcoming. Nearby street parking is also available across the street in a gravel parking lot. Truly, it's a photo-worthy dive into history!

Great little park in downtown Lexington. Plus right across the street is a playground if you have children . Great outdoor spot for some activities and exercise . Also works great as a door park , just pick up after your pup 😉 .

It is a gorgeous little park full of statues of horses and a magnificant fountain. Lots of people taking pictures with the horses.

Gorgeous sculptures! The horses were super realistic. The neighborhood was a bit rough, but everyone we encountered was friendly. Parking could be a bit difficult, but street parking is available nearby.

Really cool little scenic park to take pictures of statues and read about some of the all-time great people in the racing industry. Kids love to splash in the fountains or run up and down the grassy hill behind the fountains.

This is a park dedicated to horses and horse racing. There are statues of horses in a race and at play. This is a restful place where you can relax. There is a fountain and a play area for children.

Nice Peaceful park where you can go read a book and relax. There is a coffee shop rite beside the park. Benches are provided. However, there are some homeless folk who hang out here as well (just in case you have some type of aphobia) For the most part they won't bother ya!! Enjoy!!

This could be a fantastic park, but the hole in the sidewalk in front of the water fountain kills it. The homeless person sitting on one of the benches on the other side of the fountain kept us away from exploring that section. The horse statues are phenomenally beautiful though. My husband, one year old son and I enjoyed that much. We spent about ten minutes there.

Great place to find out what there all is in Lexington - where to stay, eat and what to see. The staff is super friendly and very informative. Lots of maps and brochures available. Also, the building is fun and their new LEX sign was just installed outside which is perfect for photos.

I thought that it was pretty important a tour available on the historical Mary Todd Lincoln house, it was really inexpensive too.

If you were visiting Lexington, definitely stop in and get some information from the visitor center. They have adorable local things for sale, You can smell different Bourbons, and take a picture with the Lexington horse. The staff was so friendly and we felt so welcomed. #sharetheLEX

I loved that she told us about real, authentic experiences rather than pushing for more touristy things--if that makes sense. Also! They have stamps if you want to send a post card--makes it so easy! So glad we stopped here before we went anywhere else!

Lured in by the block tuition pricing and told can’t be admitted until I take classes that aren’t covered under block tuition, thereby increasing the cost of the degree to the same amount or more one would pay at other universities for the same degree (and those places are less hassle). Wish I would have read the reviews all over the internet about them only being out for the money before I spent the time applying.

I love UK. The Campus is beautiful, clean, well maintained and sprawling. There are a mixture of older historic buildings as well as new and modern buildings and facilities. The amenities are great and the atmosphere is very nice.

This one officer was extremely disrespectful and some of the students were weary of me. I believe it was the color of my skin that played a part in my encounter with the officers which led to me freezing almost to death. I walked from there to Big Daddy's Liquor and the owners were nice to me. I am grateful for their hospitality and I will always hold them in my heart. I love University of Kentucky because I am a diehard UK fan. I hope that I have a better experience next time I visit and hold no more resentment towards the campus. I love that school....GO CATS!!!

The University of Kentucky is top-notch. They are much better, than the Dr's in Murray Kentucky. They actually know what they are doing. They also genuinely care about the patients.

A graduate who has seen the campus nearly completely transformed in recent years. All the dorms I resided in 50 years back have been razed and replaced or soon will be with the demolition of the complex.

This school has an amazing campus and some beautiful buildings. I didn't get a chance to see all of it because it's so spread out but, I did go to Rupp arena. It was like I was at a real NBA stadium. There was so much to do and see around the school.

The Fisk family donated a tremendous amount of paintings by Edward Fisk a former art professor at U.K. to the museum. I highly recommend visiting this exhibit that runs until January 2024. There were also several other artists' works on display. This is an excellent time to go to the museum. The student workers at the desk were quite friendly and helpful. There's a display that features a large gong that visitors may hit with a big mallet. Lots of fun to do that. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

This is one of my favorite hiking spots I've seen in this area! Very well marked trails with lettered intersections of the trails that all connect at some point. Great mix of easy and moderate trails. Some waterfalls and creeks along the way. Very impressed with this place. I did the red, orange, and white trails and I really loved the red trail.

Beautiful hike! We went on a weekend and did the outer loop, it took about an hour and a half and was totally worth it! The trail is moderate and may be a bit challenging for those who aren't avid hikers, there are shorter and easier trails if you dont want to spend an hour or more on a hike , but the views are very rewarding . Definitely worth a day trip.

It was glorious! I just wanted to get a cabin and hide here without any electronics for like a week. Beautiful, refreshing, and healing. The scenery on the drive there, is a pleasure of its own.

This is one of my favorite nature trails in the area. The sanctuary is secluded and peaceful with plenty of tree canopy to keep you cool. I always see plenty of wildlife and beautiful plants. The trails are well defined and the map offers some options for your hiking route depending on your level. Highly recommend!

Beautiful little place, the paved trails are pretty short and I think they all end up to the same place but makes it good for children, I think they have longer hiking(?) trails but when we went it was kinda muddy from the big storm the night before, so we didn't walk those trails. The guy inside the nature center was super nice too.

We always bring our kids here, it's so quiet and peaceful. Always a wonderful experience for our family.

Raven Run is a must-see trail during the spring and summer. The sanctuary has so much to offer in terms of sights and fauna. Make sure you check out the Kentucky River during your hike there!

I love hiking here. Great views, lots of wildlife and super friendly and helpful staff. They have a little exhibit that's great for kids and they will show you which trail is best for you depending on what you would like to do. I will keep coming back to get in some exercise and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. I definitely recommend the cliff that has the beautiful view of the river. I don't take my younger children to that one because it could be dangerous but the view is breathtaking.

Visited 3/5/23. They have a lot of different trails from easy to moderate. Some are paved & wheelchair accessible. We did the Freedom trail beside the parking lot that was paved. They were closing, so make sure to check the times they are open before going. Hours vary depending on the time of year. Lots of parking. They have a picnic area. They have trail maps posted in the parking lot with the level of difficulty. It's a very beautiful area. The drive is very scenic & in the countryside. Roads can be narrow at times, so be careful. Since they closed at 5:30pm we decided to go on down the road to take in the beauty of the area. It was well worth it. The sunsets are absolutely stunning.

Such a beautiful amazing walk and hike, there are different levels of hikes but you will see some beautiful sites regardless which trail you take, i did red and white and its a pretty good workout out, the 2 was almost 4 miles around. There is a nature center where kids can do a lot of hands activities, explore and learn about animals and things that can be found on the trails and doesnt cost a penny to go

My family and I hiked this place mid summer. This is a beautiful area. We had a wonderful time. The trail map wasn't the best I've seen, but we made it back to the start eventually.

The Raven Run Nature Sanctuary is a beautiful location to visit. The nature center is well taken care of and there's a decent bathroom to use. Pro Tip: Bring a Map! Even with a map, the trail is tricky. There are multiple paths that converge and the markers are convoluted. Perhaps they should amend the map and trail markings to make it less confusing. After all, what is noted as a 2 hour hike becomes a 4 hour trail. We were not as prepared in regards to water. Yet, despite these details the views are incredible and relaxing. My suggestion is to go on a weekday because today was quite busy. Being with nature is what a hike is all about. Though it is good to know that there's some cell service in case of an emergency- can imagine how busy snakes must be in the summer! On another note, the trail is narrow and steep along most paths. Be mindful when deciding to bring children- it would be better to use the paved trail rather than the ones in the woods. Overall, we made it back and enjoyed the exercise.

This place is absolutely amazing! It's a great place for family outdoor experiences. There are several different routes or paths you can choose to take with your family based on the experience you're looking for. This time we took the route that goes to the Overlook and we were not disappointed it was absolutely gorgeous! There were a few folks already picnicking there but it would be a perfect spot to hike up to sit down take a break and just take in all of God's glory! Nature abounds and we even ran into a skink while they were there!

Awesome place for horse training, conditioning, very frindly people, super cool staff. had a very unforgetable experince.

We had an amazing wedding at the Thoroughbred Center! We went in to decorate only to find that they had done the vast majority of it and had done so beautifully. All of the staff, from the bartenders to the security were fantastic. However, Emily was truly amazing. She was so helpful from start to finish and handled every little detail to make sure that everything was perfect. Extremely happy with our decision to have our wedding at this venue.

We had our wedding there. I was not impressed by the staff throughout the whole process of planning the event as well as after. We were supposed to have our ceremony outside and our reception inside. Because of bad weather, we were unable to have the ceremony outside. We did not get the money back ($1,000) for the cost of the outdoor ceremony even though the staff said we would. We were also supposed to get our damaged deposit ($250) refunded the week after the wedding. Two weeks later....still waiting on that check. Yes they offer an affordable price for a wedding venue, but you get what you pay for. The staff were not very helpful when decorating and getting the venue ready for the ceremony. I had to get my groomsmen to help kid in a big arch from outside because they said there was nobody there to move it. Some of the lights fell down inside the venue and I had to get on a ladder and fix them myself. For what we paid, they should have had someone there to help. Look somewhere else if you’re looking for a wedding venue.

We rented the Lounge and Runway area for our wedding reception. The venue itself was beautiful and perfect for our group. From the initial tour, to the night of the event, the staff at the The Thoroughbred Center provided top notch service. Amy was great at assisting us with planning and setting up the event. She also made sure we did not have to worry about one thing the night of the event. The grounds crew did a great job of making sure the parking lot and sidewalks were clear of any snow prior to our event. I cannot say enough about the venue and the staff at The Thoroughbred Center.

We recently held our Xmas office party in the lounge at the thoroughbred Center. The staff was friendly, professional, and offered a number of helpful suggestions. Everything was arranged as requested. The lounge was a nice intimate size for our gathering of 75-80 guests and an excellent setting for our office gathering. Lots of parking, easy to find, and located away from the maddening crowds downtown.

Very nice tour on a very cold day. Loved watching the horses on the track. Learned a lot from Brian the outrider about handling a horse, beyond what most instructors tell you. The visit to one of the many barns was a treat, maybe we saw a future champion.

This was the best part of our trip to Lexington. Our tour guide- can not remember her name- was awesome and we hope she fulfills her dream of being in the winners circle at a horse race. We got to meet with Breva- one of the owners of some of the thoroughbreds- very nice and had a nice conversation. She even took a picture of us with one of her throughbreds😀. We even have a suggestion of a name for a 2 yr old horse that doesn’t have a name yet- White Lightening. Loved seeing the horses training on the track. Highly recommend this tour. If you go by the name, alone, Red Mile Gaming and Racing is appropriately named. They have racing and they have a metric ton of gaming. They've stuffed as much electronic gambling as they can fit in the building and it's a well-decorated, clean space with a bar and a tiny entertainment area next to the bar. They still host bands and djs in this space and the crowd is receptive but it's hardly considered a place to dance. They used to have a room dedicated to music and dancing and it was enjoyable but they've filled that with, you guessed it... electronic gambling machines. You literally have to dance in the walking path of the main area. If you want to go to gamble or see one of their track events (harness racing, flat track racing, or our favorite, wiener dog racing), you'll have a good time, but I suggest you hurry before they discover they can put gambling machines in the track space, too. 😅

I've been quite a few time with a friend, the security is rude and make you feel like you've done something wrong, games don't pay out very well, if at all, and the "handicapped" parking is still a decent little walk. it isn't far, but for someone who might not be able to walk far, it's a distance. one good thing I can say though, the staff that brings around free non-alcoholic drinks and the bartenders are so nice, definitely my favorite part in the entirety of experiences I've had there.

Beautiful historical racing facility. I got to work and see 1st hand as QH racing returns to Kentucky, April 2023. The area is the heart of Bluegrass and Bourban country, and lots of good people.

This gaming room is by far the worse a state can have, if you don’t mind giving your money away with no real chance of some kind of return well it’s the right place for people who like to play the games for fun and yes lose there money. If it was a worth while place to gamble it would have more customers on the weekends than it does. Honestly the red mile is simply not a place to gamble with your hard earned monies. ## totallyrigged

Im from Louisiana here visiting and heard about this place. I love it!!! I mean yeah sometimes you win some and sometimes you lose some but thats why its called gambling. I went there yesterday and won and good chunk of change of of 20$

The casino is a fun place. It was busy but you were spread out so didn't feel congested. Masks currently required which was fine. The harness racing was fun to watch and bet on. If you have not attended a harness race, the Red Mike is a great place to experience.

If you take your players card in from another casino establishment they will match the level that you are such as Platinum, Gold etc.. obviously the higher you are the more you'll get. I received $250 free play and a very nice steak dinner. So far, that's hard to beat for becoming a new member!!! The only thing I don't really care for is 90% of the slot machines there are "Selection", meaning you choose from a multiple of games. I would say only about 10 % of the machines are dedicated to one single game. Still it was a fun time I would recommend going at least once.

I am so impressed with Red Mile. First of all I signed up for the new player account that came with a free spin on a bonus wheel that I won $5 on, and they have a $5 bonus for linking my phone number for communications. Secondly the place is cool looking outside and inside is so clean and the ot selection was nice. Not even 5 minutes after I started playing with my free funds I was up $125 which I was able to turn into $800. I did have an issue with the 2nd slot I played. I was doing good getting up to $150 off of $10, but then out of nowhere after I made a$8 spin the reels. just kept spinning and it said my player card was removed but it was still in the slot so I had to get assistance. After they reset the machine back to normal I couldn't hit a dollar off any spin amount. I ended up checking out a couple more slots and didn't really get much. So I cut my losses and decided to leave while I was ahead.

I love red mile it’s self however with security being strictly enforced in the parking lots expect not to step on a used needle!!! Not one but two of them in the parking lot!! I’m literally shaking from having a panic attack because I was scared of losing my life because of Negligence that could have been prevented!!

By far the worst casino in ky. With the exception of the friendly and helpful front desk there's nothing you can say good about this place. Gsmes malfunctioned every where. Service button was useless. After watching 500 dollars on one ancient fireball monkey game with not a single bonus i noticed the whole cluster hadnt hit in forever. Then when the one with the 500 poured in it hit at 1.50 it paid 19.50 out! Machines wouldn't cash tickets. Podium help couldn't tell you where the cage was. Wait staff at the restaurant didn't know what you found have or couldn't which didn't matter because after the 25 min wait they said it would take you wait 10 more to get half what you ordered. Terrible experience!

Fun place! Free soda. Lots of bonus games and free entries. Great drinks. Friendly staff. Not too crowded. And surprisingly affordable (for a casino).

Went in with $500. Left with nothing. The machines are so tight and give almost no playback. I have been now 6 times trying to see if it has gotten better. Never once have I left with more than the bank I brought in. Almost all the machines are broken. The sound doesn’t work. The spin button doesn’t work. They have now moved their ATM in the hallway and no space between you and the person next to you. Even one of the ATMS didn’t work. Honestly spend the hour and go to Louisville or The Mint in Cumberland. This place is just hot garbage.

We had a great afternoon watching the harness racing. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the place was clean and well kept. We weren’t sure how it would be bringing kids, but no issues at all just need to go around the casino area up to the track. If you’re looking for an enjoyable easygoing afternoon this is a great option. They also offered good food and drinks too. We will visit again when in the area!

We brought 20 of us for during our family reunion week. It was the BEST night (except the Counter Clocks lost😩). We had great seats, the vibe was so much fun. From ages 5 to 70(ish) everyone loved it. Thanks for such a fun filled evening. The fireworks were amazing and the staff was top notch!!

We love going to this ballpark! Not a bad seat in the house. Small town, community feel. If you go on a fireworks night, you are in for a treat. They always put on a great show after a fun ballgame.

You will have to pay for parking. That was unexpected. It shares a parking lot with a save a lot and several other places and you can't park there either for the game. Game was pretty good. Ball park food is just like every other place else $4 for a bottle of water ect.

Beautiful ballpark, not sure how I feel about the artificial turf on the field. Convenient parking. Exiting the parking lot was a mess. Lines for concessions were long (maybe if there were drink stations along the 3rd base line would help). Also excellent firework show

Parking attendants didn't know what they were doing. Cars and buses were piling up out into the main street. Only one entrance and thousands of school children trying to get in the ballpark. Game had already started by the time we got in. Has to be a better way.

The parking is $6... and area was a little sketchy. The tickets were a reasonable price. The park advertised free hot dogs every Tuesday... which is true. However they fail to advertise that a bottle drink like soda or Gatorade is $6! For my family of 7, we paid $42 for 6 drinks and hotdogs after paying $75 to get into the game. That's ridiculous!

Second time here for a concert and let me tell you it is one of the best concert venues I've been to there's not a bad seat in the house! Never overcrowded and you can hear everything and everybody's just in a great mood always their security is very good the food is very good the vibe is just excellent!

Nice stadium. The $6 parking is nearby and very convenient. Typical stadium food and prices. Suggest sitting between Home and Third Base during hot afternoon/evening games (some shade available). Mascots (Big L and Peewee) are awesome and do a good job working the crowd. We enjoyed 3 games during our visit to Lexington.

Fun ballpark if you're interested in minor league baseball! There are lots of areas to sit and enjoy the game (besides your assigned seat!), and I was pleasantly surprised by the concession quality and price! Absolutely a fun family activity if you're in town and looking for something to do!
