Beautiful park. Sometimes you can catch a view of the dolphins in the water. Love that it has camping, boating and kayaking available for visitors. It’s $4 to get into the park itself. It’s called Tamoca

The Ormond Scenic Loop was a wonderful little drive through the Florida landscape. The only problem was figuring out where to go. I attached two pictures that helped us. Hopefully, it will save you time. Roll down the windows and enjoy this hidden gem of Florida while it lasts. This made me want to grab the kayak and explore the estuary. So peaceful! Enjoy!

This is such a peaceful place, I hope they never keep it from being protected land. My daughter and I go on drive on the loop, very healing. These pictures don’t do it justice. Went for a ride two Times today.

The loop is pretty cool to go thru. I like it more on my bike and at around 6-7pm when the sun is starting to set. You get to drive thru a pink sky 🌌

Nice drive with views of tree lined streets, marshlands and the Halifax river. We stopped at the Seabridge Riverfront Park and ruins of a sugar and rum plantation mill. Going over the drawbridge and viewing John Anderson Drive where our dad was the mailman for 30 years was the highlight of the trip!

It is totally worth your time to drive the trail. It's beautiful and show you the side of Florida that's not all beach.

I’ve lived a few miles from here for a few years. I’ve bicycled, motorcycled, hiked, cruised it with friends in cars and fished🐠 from shore countless time and recently kayaked it. Always loved this place.

My partner and I went to Tomoka State Park for an afternoon bike ride this past spring, and it was absolutely beautiful! I really enjoyed all the different paths and trails that you can explore in this park, as well as the different educational boards and features to provide information about the historical aspects of the park. I definitely recommend going to Tomoka if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place to spend an afternoon.

I think it would be a great place to camp and kayak. We went for the trails, which were very minimal, plus it rained so we couldn't do much. Store is fully stocked with all camping needs. I loved the trail along the water, behind the statue, the most. Very scenic.

Would've loved to spend more time here! The camp store is interesting with handmade candles in unique scents; I wonder if pelican's breath really smells that good! 😂 Miles upon miles of trails, camping, fishing, etc.

What a really nice State Park! I visited my kids staying in the park for a week. We searched for and found Chief Tomokie. We sat by the Tomoka/Halifax river Basin. We chilled out and had tons of fun. Can't wait for my kids to return to camp some more. Not expensive either. They have nice showers/bathrooms and laundry facilities. It's a nice clean park and beautiful sunsets.

I went there this past weekend for a girls getaway. We tent camped here. The campsites were clean and the facilities were kept nice. No issues. The outpost is in the back of the park right on the water. Very nice place to hang out and watch nature. Our trip was amazing. Definitely recommend and hope to go back with my husband soon.

It's a very pretty park, with a nice size campground, but we found the camp spot we got for a tent was fairly small. There was a fire ring and table which was nice. It was quite a long walk to the store from the campground so be prepared to drive if you aren't able to hike or have little kids. We enjoyed the statue area and rocks you can climb near the water, we even saw dolphins playing around pretty close to us! We were a bit disappointed there was no playground or things for kids to do but we made the most of it and still had fun.

Beautiful park - reminds us of something very tropical - and there's a really nice campground, but staff/rangers really leave a lot to be desired. The pros: very pretty park with a lot of space to walk or ride your bikes, plenty of water to put your kayak or canoe in. Very quiet park, not a lot of bright lights interfering with the viewing of some stars at night. Clean bathrooms, that are regularly maintained by camp hosts/volunteers. The cons: The most unfriendly and most unhelpful rangers we've ever met. They don't have friendly or hospitality personable personalities. Have a question? Better off asking a stranger. They'll be more helpful and friendlier. We had a package shipped to the park, with our site number clearly listed, and when we went to claim our package, I was told in the future to make sure to put our site number on there. I had to point out that it was. Perhaps he should have put his glasses on before scolding me. I didn't even get an "I'm sorry, I didn't see that". I just got a beligerant look. There are no paper copies of the trail maps. Ranger told us to take a picture with our phone... There are no designated cleaning times for the restrooms. One day it's 8 am, the next it's 10:30 am. It's always a guessing game! The ceiling fans in the restrooms are on - even on nights when the temperature is below 40 degrees. When we asked about turning the fans off at night because it was cold in the showers, we were told no because the bathrooms wouldn't dry and that moisture harbors germs. Are you kidding me?? There's plenty of ventilation in these restrooms, with screened openings for airflow. (The volunteers use so much bleach to scrub the restrooms that I highly doubt this is an issue!) The family/handicapped accessible restroom shower space in the middle restroom building is awful! There's only 1 hook for your dry items to be hung on while showering, and there's no bench to set your dry clothes, bag or whatever personal items on. You could set it on the floor, but then they'll get wet. Not very well thought out! The laundry facilities are affordable, but there's only 1 washer and dryer at each restroom/shower house building. There are 100 campsites. We were there for 14 days, there were multiple times we had wait for other campers to come back remove their laundry. (They were not paying attention to their load of laundry being done - had to wait over 30 minutes once. After that incident, I called it fair game, gave them 10 minutes after the cycle ended, then I put their clothes on top of the dryer for them.) It's a beautiful park, but we know for any future stays to bring a space heater to the restrooms, not to ask the rangers any questions, to bring our own trail maps, and to use off site laundry facilities.

1st time visiting while in the area. Nice place to venture out. Not very large bit has plenty of trails to walk. Picnic area in abundance. You need to bring insect repellent for sure. Great places to cast a fishing line too.

Came here for a get away weekend. Absolutely loved it. Facilities are clean and so is the park. Beautiful sea breeze all day kept most of the bugs away. Camp sites can be tricky to get into due to the narrowness of the camper roads, but if you are an experienced camper then you will have no issues. Only a few minutes drive from places like Publix and CVS. Great restaurant row not far away. This is a must state park!!

Excellent park. This review is about camping. I did not use park for any activities. This is second time I stayed in this park. The first time it was 16 years ago, before the Internet;) Both times I stayed in August, not a high season, and was able to get sites without reservation. I used tents. The sites are spacious, apparently configured to host B and C class RVs. Sites have running water and power outlets! Due to thick tropical vegetation the sites are nicely naturally insulated. Restrooms and showers are clean and generally the whole campsite is very well maintained. No mosquitoes or other pesky airborne pests. Beware of ants, dont put up your tent over an ant hill... In August it is rather hot, so no sleeping bag is needed. The cicadas and crickets create a sound wall which takes some getting used to. Very pleasant experience overall.

What's going on at Tomoka campground? Whatever it is, it's not good. I've been going there for years and have seen a severe decline in the campground. Need for maintenance and repair of the restrooms. The restrooms are dark and dirty. It didn't used to be that way and it's not that way at other State parks. Campsites need to be cleaned up better by the hosts. Fire rings are filled with old stank wood and are not being cleaned up. Hosts used to rake out the sites and clean out the fire rings, but not anymoreI've found used condoms, feminine napkins, and other trash in the campsites. Some sites look more like homeless encampments than campsites.

The park is well maintained with clean facilities. There are a few bike trails which were dry and fun. The general store closes at 5pm. One dump station. Fire ring and picnic table. No post for hanging items. Beautiful sites with huge trees and vegetation between campers.

What a glorious state park! We admittedly came here to get our state park passport stamped for Bulow Plantation, but we stayed and explored Tomoka while we were there. I'm so glad we did! WE SAW A BOBCAT!!! Like 50 yards away, maybe. It crossed a trail and meandered on it's way. I have never seen one so close! The trails were thick with mosquitos, so apply more bugspray than you think you'll need. Bring your lunch! There are picnic tables all over the place. The mosquitoes were barely noticeable on the western side of the peninsula. The breeze coming in off the water was enough to keep the mosquitoes away. Restroom facilities were on par with other state park restrooms. I noticed they did have a handicapped parking spot next to a covered pavilion and the restrooms, so it's an accessible parking area. We wanted to go into the outfitter store to ask about equipment rentals and to buy some drinks, but they were closed. Maybe that's only open on weekends? Call in advance. All in all, a beautiful park and I look forward to returning and exploring further.

Really nice state park, campgrounds very nice, large spots the restroom and showers are clean. There's a private shower if anyone would need handicap access. The trails are nice. Beautiful views. Fishing is OK !

I like quiet. Tamoka State Park is VERY family-friendly. Kids and dogs all hours of the night. There is no enforced quiet hour. With this said. Super clean facilities and really nice rangers and staff. The on-site convenience store has everything you need but budget accordingly. 2x retail. On the lighter side, the clothes washers and dryers are only $1 per cycle. We still had a good time, but we just won't be back. There are other parks we prefer.

Beautiful park. Stayed for Daytona Bike week. Great location must try the Tomoka IPA and peanuts at the store.

What a great place to visit. So much to do biking hiking walking fishing a nice camp store they're very very friendly inside, Nice trails, camping is great too unfortunately the people who are camping there are not friendly and won't even look at you or say hi for the most part, and I have idea why they can't be friendly.lol you can view dolphins swimming across the river, which is very cool. Bring the bikes bring the hikes bring the backpacks, bring the dog, all in all it's a great place to go!! And by the way that picture of the alligator was not from there, lol. We have yet to see a gator there.

This was the highlight of my family's vacation. Staff were SUPER friendly. Very informative. Grounds are beautifully kept. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lydia was an amazing tour guide. The Rockefeller and Flagler history was amazing. The location on the river has great views. Free parking in the lot next door. Street parking is also available. The decor of the home was amazing. You can only see half of the second floor and the third floor if you are on the tour. The tour is free but a donation is customary. The house is owned by the city.

Its a house museum with an interesting history. Just ok. Take take the guided tour for a more detailed history. No parking and entrance fee.

This place is so beautiful this time of year. Everyone should see it all lit up for Christmas!

The Casements is where once the world's richest man John Davison Rockefeller Sr. lived between 1918 and 1937(less than 2 months away from his 98th birthday). Mr. Rockefeller was a believer of social Darwinism in business and he deployed many unethical tactics to destroy/buy his rivals, build his oil and steel empire, and he was estimated to have a net worth of 1.4 billion USD upon his death. On the other hand, he is a devout Christian, and philanthropist, he gave a lot of money to the Church, institutes, universities around the world like the University of Chicago, Yale, Peking Union Medical College and many others. The Rockefeller Foundation is still a great name in philanthropy. He was labeled as "Robber baron". "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” (Matthew 19:24) At any rate, I couldn't decide whether John D Rockefeller is in heaven or not. I am fortunate to see this magnificent mansion.

Patti was great! ‘A voice from the shadows!!’ Small gallery takes about an hour using the audio guided tour. Third floor is closed at this time but the other rooms are nice and the archive has a lot of Florida history and pictures. Follow the path by river for a nice relaxing walk.

We came on a Wednesday and walked in at 1:00, just in time for the free tour. Our tour guide was Jean Marie and she was a fun and informed guide, very personable. The tour is fun if you enjoy history. She even took us to the third floor, which is almost like an attic, but still it was interesting to see more of the house. This house was the winter home of John D Rockefeller. It was rescued from demolition, thank goodness! Free admission. Well worth the time.

A very beautiful house from the outside. Ormond, in my opinion, should put a few resources into aquiring more furnishings for the living room. The interior needs a bit of sprucing up.

This was a lovely experience and we just simply stumbled upon it as we were looking for a park stroll. The gentlemen who greeted us was so kind. He explained that we could do a guided tour, a self guided tour with audio, or just walk around at our own leisure. Having these options were especially attractive to me because most historical sites can be really stuffy and full of rules. I really got a feeling for the impact that Rockefeller has had just being able to slowly walk and read vintage photo captions and articles. There was also alot of information about the history of Flagler and beach racing here. I learned quite a bit! Even my 8 year son enjoyed his experience there. I loved the time spent here. It really added a element of history to my trip. Hope you enjoy it too!

Great place to go if you want to learn more about Rockefeller. It was not like most museums. It allowed you to go into most of the rooms! The employees were super nice too! Totally recommend for a self guided tour!!

Beautiful house and grounds. Learned some interesting things about Ormond Beach and Rockefeller. Only spent about an hour or so but you could easily spend longer if you read all of the info they provide.

This historic site is really neat. They host a variety of events including concerts and food festivals. The home itself can be toured and everything has been restored from John D. Rockefeller. It's right on the river and the view is amazing. If your visiting the area I would recommend a stop here and then a visit to the gardens across the street.

Absolutely beautiful restored home of John Rockefeller. They put SO much time and love into recreating the home to match the time. The amount of historical delights in there was mind boggling. Our tour guide fostered a real sense of pride in the history there. Make sure you check out the room full of newspaper articles and all the car history for race cars!

I love this place! I've came here ever since I was little and my grandmother is teaching a painting class right now and I absouloutly love walking past the rocafeller rooms its amazing to learn the history! We can see all of the history of John d Rockefeller so I am so grateful to be here!😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤

Great beach and park for families with young kids!! We park about a block or 2 away and walk on the area most drive on the beach. The beach is long and flat, soft sand. Waves were very minimal while we were here. When our kids get hungry we head over to the cute little snack shack in the park. They have almost anything you’d want including homemade Italian ice and milkshakes! We had cheeseburgers and hot dogs and they were tasty. Prices not bad, either. After eating the kids can cool off in the splash pad in the park or play on the playground. Either way it’s a great day and a wonderful way to keep them entertained! Also bonus is bathrooms and showers to wash off.

This was a very nice beach. It was clean, and it was not very crowded, although we went towards the end of the day in October. There was a little splash pad for kids that had jets of water shooting up. The only concern there is to be careful, and to watch kids, as if they run, they could slip and fall. As for the bathrooms, they were fairly clean for a beach. The only major thing I would have to say about here, is be mindful of where the beach entrance is. The only entrance is the beach ramp, as all the other entrances are now closed due to erosion. The main ramp was not hard to find, but for someone who had never been there before, it could be a little confusing. In the afternoon, it is also worth mentioning that the tides can get pretty strong, so I would not recommend taking younger children or inexperienced or weaker swimmers here at that time. Overall, I really enjoyed going to this beach! It was clean, family-friendly, and the waves were pretty good. So far, it is my favorite beach in the area.

Such a great location on the beach. Amenities are great. Handicap accessible. Family and young children friendly with a little jungle gym for the kids. The stairs are under construction so you had to walk to the end of the parking lot to use the ramp but it was very easy to access. Parking was a breeze and it felt very safe with life guard on duty. Would go back.

Awesome!! Loved it so much! Able to park, very short walk to the beach to enjoy the waves or lie in the sun...as an alternative-sit in the park under the shade...also a couple areas for kids to play.

It's excellent place for you enjoy a beach day with the family or your friends. There is a free off parking lot and a fantastic kids area with playground and splash pad. The family restrooms are cleaning. There are outdoors grill and many tables in the shaded pavilion.

Nice beach front parking area where you can easily walk to the beach. The front steps are still closed off from being destroyed. Hopefully, they will be restored soon. Other than that, it's nice to be able to walk around or sit and enjoy the breeze and ocean.

This beach has everything you need, parking, shower, restroom and small playground for kids. Picnic benches are there. All are clean and nice. Had a great day with friends.

I absolutely love Andy Romano park it is beautiful and we'll kept. I can't wait for them to fix the stairs to the beach. The hurricane tore the stairs away ... Sadly. But you can still enter the beach to the left 😄 I also got married here 💍 simple and beautiful ❤️

Excellent place to park the ONLY downside is every single walkway to the beach is destroyed and you need to walk down the drive on entrance. I ended up just throwing everything over the seawall and having to walk around and reclaim it. GET THERE EARLY like 7am early or all the FREE parking is GONE. Splash pad restrooms and a playground for the kids and a good sized picnic area. Perfect for a family on a budget just pack smart and enjoy the experience

I love this park. It is clean, this includes the bathrooms. Has a snack bar, splash pad for the kids and parking is free. Go early for that parking spot.

This is a great little area to set up at if you want to go to the beach. Outdoor concrete picnic tables and a small splash pad for kids. This is also a dog friendly place. Only four stars because all of the stairs to the beach were closed. We had to walk down to the driving ramp to get onto the beach. Still a very nice area!

The Park was one of my favorites but needs some serious maintenance. No access to beach by stairs, the are gone and the ramp for handicap hasn't been repaired either. It's been that way for over a year and there are signs stating use the beach ramp to access the beach. You have to pay $20 to drive onto the beach. Also a lot of the canvases that provide shade are missing. Where is all the money that they charge to access the beach going too! Not for maintenance!!!😓

This is a great spot for several reasons. First, if you want to drive and park on the beach the access point is adjacent to this great area for kids and families. 2nd, if you want to have free parking then if you get here early you will find it free. This place is well maintained. Definitely recommend this place.

My favorite beach in the area. Better than Daytona or Flagler for sure. Keep it clean though, two days ago there was a trashy family throwing their chicken bones in the sand.

The waves are powerful and the Beach builds a natural bench of sand you can sit on while having the ocean kiss your feet over and over . Everyone was spaced out enough to actually enjoy the ocean in your own world. The seagulls stick together while drawing their beautiful wings over the water together. Children running and laughing and the waves playing in the background is like a dream I never want to end ❤️

No pets. I came up from the beach labeled dog friendly and there was no signs entering the park. The city attendant who advised me of no pets rule was extremely polite and pleasant about informing me.

Awesome place for a group picnic at the beach. Bring tent / canopy for shades. Well maintained bathrooms and kid play ground. The best part is FREE parking if you get there before the crowd ;)

We absolutely love this park and always go when visiting but it stinks they still don't have the steps to the beach fixed from hurricanes That's why I give it a 3 star rating, but when they are fixed its a 10 star! Our kids love it, play area and sprinkler area!!

Great place to hike. Two trails, the one closest to the big tree is shorter. The other closest to the rest room is about 4 miles down the trail and back. No place to sit and rest no water or other facilities except at the beginning. It is a beautiful place.

Awesome trail, one of the better ones I’ve found in the area. The reason why I’ve given 4 stars is that it is a very muddy wet trail which has prevented me from completing the whole out & back route. Third time’s the charm I guess. Lots of wildlife out here too which makes it much more interesting and enjoyable!

I go to Bulow Creek at least twice a week to walk my dog. She is still a puppy and learning to be my hiking buddy. I like that I can take different trails to keep her interested. In the last couple of weeks, we have seen a huge eagle's nest with one of the parents calling for its mate. We have seen a turkey and a black racer snake. I can't wait to explore with my pup!

This little hidden place off of the loop in Ormond Beach Florida is wonderful. I believe that the tree is over 120 years old. Absolutely beautiful there is some history about this. You have to Google it, the pictures don’t do any justice. This is a place to go see if you’re in the area.

Great place to visit. The history behind the mill is fascinating. You can fish and picnic as well. Several tables and an indoor area. Nice bathrooms. Very serene location. Walking trails to the mill are fun for exploring.

Great trail with lots of scenery. Hiked Bulow Creek SP to Bulow Creek Ruins via the Bulow Creek Trail. 8.4 miles. Hang left at the fork at the canal and cross the dilapidated bridge across the canal (or walk as it’s just ankle deep). Lots of wildlife and awesome “natural” bridges!

I never knew this place existed. It is very interesting. I know now where a good kayak launch is.

I spent the afternoon here, it was well worth it. Some great trails to hike on. I hiked the main trail for over 4 1/2 mi and it was very interesting with all the wildlife out in the swampy areas. Crabs were coming to the surface in a moving water mass under the bridge. The trails are well maintained, there are some muddy areas about halfway just before you get to the bridge where it crosses over a creek. The restrooms were clean, there was no drinkable water. There are barbecues and picnic tables. The setting was very quiet as it was far enough off the highway to enjoy nature. Along the trail some of the trees are very dense and you see many, ancient oak trees that must be at least 200 years old. There is no fee to get in the park and it's well worth the trip.

This is a very large and very old tree in an open park. The hiking trails here are rustic so my husband wouldn't go.

Love hiking in the woods here. Always a great time with our pups. Not too many people out when we go but the people we encounter are a very nice

Small, but nice hiking trails that all together add up a few miles one way, I made the mistake of going to the middle point parking, when I should've went to the more southern entrance by the tree, which was awesome, restrooms were very clean, picnic area is small too, but covered

Trail just before entrance to ruins shows closed. Went anyways... the trail is not your normal easy Florida trail; lots of overgrowth and downed trees, limbs etc. made it fun. It's easy to lose sight of the trail at certain places, and just as easy to get back on track... 5.6 miles 3.5 hrs.

First time at this trail. I must say it was well worth the drive. Before you even get to the site, the scenery is very soothing. Once you arrive you find a small parking lot with restrooms and picnic tables. Walk a few steps and you will see two different paths. I took the Fairy path. Saw some really cool tiny frogs. Fast little guys. Some were red and some black. The trail is very clean. I recommend you take a first aid kit, water, bug spray, snacks, a, camera and good sneakers. Also, I'd you are not good remembering the path maybe something so that you can mark your path back. Saw a few fishes as well. Definitely is on my to go again list.

I’m a big museum person, especially when the cost of admissions is minimal or nonexistent. In this case, it’s completely free to visit the Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens! Though they do appreciate donations. My favorite part of this place is most definitely the gardens. They aren’t huge, but you can easily still get lost walking around them. There are a couple of bamboo forests that are so peaceful and pleasant to listen to when the breeze blows through them. You can also find some hidden creeks, gazebos, and gorgeous flowers intermittently. And don’t miss the waterfall right at the front of the gardens next to the museum! The museum itself is very small. It’s all mostly based on a veteran named Malcom Fraser, who started using art as an outlet and teaching instrument after coming back from war. His paintings all have very religious themes and are so beautiful and emotional. You can find a few other artists’ work scattered about, but his certainly take front and center. And it’s pretty neat reading about his backstory. It doesn’t take long at all to go through all the art, you would at most need an hour if you’re wanting to walk through the gardens as well, and even that’s putting it liberally. I’m not sure I’d come back now that I’ve been, but I’d definitely visit if you’re in the area and have some spare time!

Absolutely beautiful garden. The turtle pond was completely full of turtles, including some baby turtles. It was a nice relaxing walk. Lots of interesting things to see. It's like a nature preserve in Ormond Beach. The museum itself was very cool and well done. Lots of beautiful art. I highly recommend coming out to see this place!

If you haven't been, you really should go. The new place is amazing. Wow!!

Wonderful experience. The garden has a paved walk that can be enjoyed by everyone,and it is a photographer's dream! The museum is spacious,the exhibit delightful,and it provides respite on a hot Florida day.

The Ormond Memorial Gardens have always been a favorite place to visit for my family, but the new museum and artwork add so much to our visits! I loved exploring and finding new details. I highly recommend it if you haven't been!

Absolutely stunning grounds. Well-maintained. Art museum only had a couple exhibits open but it’s all free so cannot complain.

This was my third visit to the gardens and my first visit inside the museum. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful. Love to walk around the concrete pads and sit and watch the turtles 🐢 or listen to the waterfall ⛲😊 it has a very nice variety of tropical foliage and flowers. The museum was displaying art from a couple of different local artist. Rather interesting display. The museum is fairly small and only has a couple of display Halls or rooms.

We did not go inside the museum. We just wanted to see the gardens outside. There is a pretty waterfall near the entrance, and lots of pretty scenery of palm trees and greenery along the paths. We didn't see many flowers when we visited in January, but maybe there are more in the spring and summer.

This garden has a lot to offer and an abundance of shade. It’s walkways have a lot of native Florida plants and a big gazebo that is available for event rentals.

What a beautiful oasis downtown Ormond beach. The entry fee is a donation and well worth it to support this amazing place. The gardens were beautifully maintained and nice and shady even on a hot day. Loved the waterfall and the kaleidoscope. We cooled off inside enjoying a great art exhibit and they have a cute little shop with adorable gifts and jewelry. I never could say no to a pair of earrings.

Each season they have different exhibits from different cultures and artists in the museum. There is also the garden area with walking paths. Beautiful flowers and fauna. Remembering our fallen soldiers and people who made a difference to the area. Very nice place to visit and free to visit. They also offer classes in art. Also membership available.

Definitely recommend!! If you’re looking for a beautiful hide Gem. This is the perfect place. It’s so peaceful and the walk ways are excellent to explore. The water falls was a really nice surprise. The Honor to the Military is a really nice with historical significance.

The garden is a gorgeous, well maintained oasis gem in the city. It is the best public garden I've been to in my travels. Words don't do it justice.

Really fun, food good, great bands play live music after 7 pm. Rock and roll usually. Right on the water, seating outside or inside.

The gardener Janette is such an asset. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. She is the only Gardener so I would encourage people in the area who love this place to support it by volunteering to help her in the garden.

Very conveniently located and less crowded than other oceanfront parks. Very clean bathrooms and convenient showers and ramp. Only 4 stars because the playground still needs fixed and there isn’t a changing table in all the bathrooms.

Great place, playground was closed for repairs but the showers,bathrooms and beach access is fantastic. One of the best access points to the beach for us crippled people. Seems to be able to find parking eventide we go, but we live in the Ocala forest and only go to the beach on weekdays,we hear horror stories of how crowded it is on weekends.

Nice place to sit and shower after leaving the beach- Tom Rennick Park has free beach entrance and lots of bathrooms and showers to wash sand off!! No food is sold here, so bring your own. There a dollar store and a bar right across the street from Tom Rennick Park. Nice place to relax, eat and beach!!! Be careful of nickle to quarter sized holes in sand when your walking in this park-sand crabs live here and we protect them!!! No litter!!!

Accessible parking, clean changing/restrooms, outdoor showers to rinse your feet or whole body, the beach itself was clean, lots of people but not crowded at all! Had a wonderful day there! 🌞🌴

Really nice park. Covered eating areas, playground, outside showers for sand removal, bathrooms, and BEACH! The main attraction ofcourse! Lifeguard stand right there, not to crowded, and even in December my 3 1/2 yo granddaughter loved the water!

Everything was clean, restrooms, kids play area and benches. Had grills for bbqs. Nice beach ⛱️ for family.

This park has lots of amenities and they're all free! Plenty of parking, a playground, pavilions and picnic tables, and of course beach access with restrooms and showers.

Nice small park that is difficult to find parking on the weekend. Includes small play area for the kids. Nice to find a park squeezing between all the condos. Everything seemed well maintained and a great view with plenty of natural plants to enhance the view.

We came for the Seafood Festival. My first time. It was well-maintained. We were lucky but parking for a major event like this a concern.

Great place for the family, to exercise, and or bring pets! The grounds are well kept and the estate is well taken care of.

This place hosts a lot of events just across the bridge on Granada in Ormond Beach. Even when it’s not hosting events… it’s such a beautiful place to take a nice relaxing walk by the water and under the bridge. Most of the photos I will show are of events and if you’re considering having one, this place is perfect! The Celtic Festival was amazing in April as you will see in my photos.

Beautiful grounds to enjoy right on the Halifax River

My family and I found this beautiful park by accident. We were driving around looking for places to visit. What a beautiful little park to walk around, there was a man doing yoga in one of the building a that had shade. Just a beautiful natural place to walk around. Also the homes in the area are gorgeous and such a nice walk all around.

My favorite place in Ormond Beach! We stop by every day for walks by the river and to enjoy the peace and beautiful views ~ perfect sunset viewing. Beautiful home, affordable gift shop and great place for festivals.

This place has some nice scenery, mostly the views of the river, but it is a stretch to call it a garden. We saw a lot of sweetwilliam blooming, but the flowers and plants are more just landscaping. We enjoy gardens but were not impressed by this place.

I was referred to this gallery by a friend because I was look for a place to display my artwork. The man that greeted me at the door was rude and told me that his gallery wasn't for me and that I couldn't compete with the artists in his gallery without even looking at what I had to offer. Even though I explained that I have been selling for approx 10 years, but was new to the sales of higher end artwork because my pieces recently started selling pieces for prices around $1200 he walked away from me like I was beneath him. I will take my artwork and business elsewhere.

The artist who runs the gallery was very friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us background information on the pieces and artists.

I was on vacation but didntbl want to miss mass. Found this church and it was very welcoming. The priest was wonderful, you could hear and understand him. The church is right off A1a.

This web site showed that the Saturday Mass was at 5:00 when in fact it was at 4:00. When we arrived, the Mass was just letting out so we had to rearrange our schedule and find another church Sunday morning. We are vacationing from out of state. Please correct the Mass times shown on this site. Thank you

This church adheres to the Catholic traditions that I grew up with. It's not about pomp and circumstance. It's about reverence and worship. The Liturgy is sacred here, as was intended from the beginning.

My daughter attends this school and church and the staff and faculty are absolutely amazing! The communication and care they give for others is uncomparable!

I very much enjoyed mass at St. BRENDAN CHURCH while I was on vacation in Ormond by the sea. Church was beautiful. Singing was very nice. Felt like home.

Nice little park next to road. Does have a couple of paved parking spots. Has no riverside section. No facilities. Next to a boat launch section. Plenty of unpaved parking but is reserved for boat launch vehicles with boat trailers. Does have a nice gazebo on the water and a shop.

This is right by the Granada bridge on the mainland side of Halifax River. It has a couple boat launches and docks and a small fishing store where you can buy bait, fishing gear, and the like. We go here and toss the cast net and usually catch something, most of the time its bait worthy but not all the time. Good place to get shrimp. Have also caught a whole array of other fish species, anywhere in the area you never know what you're going to pull up in your net. The brackish water can sustain a whole host of different water life. Cast-netting around here is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.

Nice spacious pier to fish the Halifax river. Bait shop and public restrooms. Beautiful scenery for a exercising walk in the pier.

Cool park next to the Intracoastal waterway. Large walkways around the park area.

Lovely place for a walk, if you aren't fishing. I like reading the memorial benches. What a wonderful way to remember loved ones.

Fricken love this park/ fishing area so much! They have a fishing cleaning area where we were which helped a lott. And the dock was very long so you could be scattered around and not be crowded. Overall such a beautiful place😍

Why...oh why....do they have TRAILER ONLY parking and not enforce it? These spots are CLEARLY marked, yet people still park their cars in these spots. I had to park my truck and trailer a half mile away in the library parking lot due to people not following the signs!

This place is so peaceful Great place to Walk this place has plenty of seating. Parking is limited. And if you like to Fish you can do that too! There is a tackle and bait shop as well and they sell food. There is a Boat dock as well.

Love this place! Beautiful views, fresh air, well maintained. You can do walking exercises or jogging, biking too. You can use the fishing pier for free. There's a bait shop that also sells snacks. Enough parking, clean restroom.

Great place to ride my bike for a 10 mile loop. Run the pier few times sprint the concrete bags do 150 pushups dips and crunches while enjoying beautiful view of river from top of the bridge . we are so lucky to enjoy this environment !! Lots to see around here

This is the biggest dog park I've ever seen. There's a nice Sandy trail up the middle separating the small dog park from the big dog. The big dog is enormous but there was hardly anybody in it. There was a group of about 10 adults all in the small dog park with all sizes of dogs running around. Highly recommended.

Very nice park. A lot of room for dogs to run. Very shady with a nice ocean breeze.

This is a very nice park. It has free pickle ball and tennis courts, playground, dog parks, rest rooms, and ample parking.

I don’t give out 5 stars often but this park has quite a bit of fun for almost everyone at any age. There is ample parking for the beach even on the weekends with a beautiful street here of beach without condos or buildings.If you head back into the park there is an excellent playground for the small kids that is completely covered and in the shade. Tennis courts, basketball courts baseball diamond, and a dog park are all in sight of the parking lot. There are trails that go back to the river. Just watch your step because there are plenty of holes from burrowing animals scattered all over the fields.

This is a Wonderful location to take a picnic lunch. Covered tables to sit and enjoy your meal. The Ocean is Always Peaceful and Refreshing🌊 The bathrooms were open, however at the time of my visit Only one hand dryer was working. Thank You for taking Your Time to read my review😊 Have a Great Day🌞

One of the largest dog parks me and my dog ever experienced. Really nice walk to the river after the play time adds a star to make it a 5 star rating

The dog park is mostly sand which didn’t bother me or my dogs. There is a separate large and small dog areas. They enjoyed it. Plenty of parking. Trails and a boardwalk to meander along. Nice playground for the kiddos. Beach is right across the street and is a very quiet stretch with no cars on the beach.

Plenty of free parking and walk way to access the beach. A blinking light to cross the street. A outside shower, feet wash, public bathrooms and picnic tables to eat at with outside grills.A small board walk that is built for handicap. Proboly not easy to push a wheelchair on the beach but you could look down and maybe take pics near the beach.. Even a life guard station on the beach.. Also a nature walk by the bathrooms.

The different parts of the park were so diverse. There are Mike's of connected walking trails between the lakes. There are also playgrounds and picnic benches. The park is lovely, a nice way to enjoy a day.

Only giving four stars because it seems like most trails lead to roads and force you to cross. Not the BEST place around to take small children, but still entirely accessible. The lakes are beautiful, the trails are serene, and its one of the best places to watch water birds in action.

Great park went about an hour and a half before sundown. There’s a few people there and plenty of parking there’s a trail that runs along the edge of the lake as well as bridges going over it. There was lots of wildlife. There was also a Garden area and a Park basketball, courts and workout equipment along the trail.

I was amazed while parking to see the play area was replaced. My son's enthusiasm said it all. He was running around, checking out the new slides 🛝 screaming with joy. The new rock climbing wall (36-42") leads up to a steel platform, which puts your child in the middle of the adventure of crossing over wooden planks and rope bridge, leading to a small slide. Climb up the stairs to the highest slide. It's a good place for children to play. My favorite upgrade is the removal of the mulch, replaced with a rubber ground, even I had fun jumping on.

I stumbled upon Central Park on accident and what a nice stop it turned out to be! I definitely would like to take my children here as the playground looks interesting to climb upon with some type of garden behind it, and then another playground behind that! There is also a lake and some folks fishing and… Definitely a good spot for the family!

Central Park is compiled of several trails that loop around beautiful ponds. There’s tons of space to walk, several parks for children, bathrooms, basketball courts, tennis courts and a discovery center all connected by walking trails!

Loved it. Great walking park. 1/2 mile loop.... paved and some short boardwalks. Nice playground area for kids and even a good bathroom. Plenty of trees for sun protection.

A wonderful place to walk, rekax and and see the natural beauty of Ormond. I suggest you take a picture of the map available near the parking lot, or download one from the website to help monitor your place on the trails. Great playground for kids!

This is a very nice park. Lots of open space. A trail to walk around the pond. The water is Peaceful. Always be aware of your surroundings. There is Always a possibility of alligators or snakes. The play areas are great for kid's activities. There is a jungle gym and a set of swings. Parking seems adequate. There is a pavilion and several picnic tables. This playground/park/nature spot was awesome! They recently redid the playground , they have all kinds of docks and nature trails, they have a huge garden to look at, they have wildlife to spot , huge picnic area and a basketball court. I brought my boys there and met a friend with her littles and we all had a great time!

Quiet, clean and relaxing walking trail around the lake. There is a kayak launching area and playground equipment. Grilling under the covered picnic area is available. Lots of wildlife including alligators. This is natural Florida!

A pleasant half mile walk near and around the lake. Flat and easy to walk sidewalks and short boardwalks, even with a bad knee. Appears to be wheelchair accessible. Peaceful. Birds, turtles. Just don't feed the gators. 😀

This beautiful piece of nature is located in the middle of Ormond Beach. Congratulations to all involved in purchasing the property and creating this beautiful environmental gem. The park was done in three phases. Several sections have play areas for children and exercise paths for adults. There are several launch areas for kayaks and canoes. There are parking lots near the walking paths. I could visit this park every day and never get bored. I saw turtles, loons, fish, and so much more. It’s such a peaceful pleasant place to walk through, visit and enjoy for people of all ages.

What a marvelous find in Fortunato Park! We live in Palm Coast, but come to Ormond Beach often. Fortunato Park: 1st stop!! Such a perfect location next to the Halifax River...complete with benches, a playground for children, a clean well kept walk from the park to the bridge and a little gazebo for those of us who may need to skirt the sun. I love the fact that the benches are dedicated to people who had passed on to the next world- inscriptions or dedications. I read every one!!🌼🌿👍🏼🤗

I loved this park! I stumbled upon it by accident I was driving around just to drive. My 1st stop was on the other side of the bridge at the other park. I visited this park on my 2nd day in the area. There is plenty of benches to sit and take a break and enjoy the bliss of your surroundings. It's a very clean well kept park. No matter where you sit there is something to take in the view. I enjoyed sitting in front of a metal sculpture with water trickling from it. My experience was peaceful!

Amazing beach park for kids and so relaxing for adults! Nice sidewalk to ride bikes on and a little covered pier to fish on as well. Gorgeous view! Cleanest outdoor bathrooms i've ever seen & they are right there next to the park as well!

I can’t really find anything to say bad about this park except that I wish it was closer to my house. The playground had lots for the kids of all ages and it was all along a beautiful shoreline. The fields were very well maintained as was the entire park. There is some history to see here as well as a great place to go for a relaxing walk and one of the best fitness areas that I have seen at a park anywhere around here.

The most beautiful park especially to watch the sunset. My son’s first birthday was here. We have date nights and get Hershey’s ice cream and watch the sunset here. It’s a great spot to fish, workout or just enjoy the view.

It's adorable . Plenty of places to sit nice features , fountain, you can watch people fish or watch few ducks go about their business. Bring your lunch and eat at the waters edge.
