I don't know what else to tell you except that I love V Sattui. Been coming here for over 20 years. They have a good store with gourmet goodies, cooked, cheeses, meets, breads, olives, etc. decently priced for the most part. Perhaps buy a bottle of wine or three in the wine tasting room. Note it costs $45 per person per tasting. And you're going to have to make reservations because they're so busy. But you can of course buy without tasting. Then take your goodies outside to their grounds where you'll find picnic tables and benches. Beautiful scenery and trees, lawns, and just pure joy. It has really changed a lot over the past 20 years. They're catered to the picnic goer and out in so much more parking and seating. They sell their standard wines as well as master class. It's really a great place to spend a few hours on a sunny weekend.

Went there two times and had great experience. All staff were nice and friendly. The environment is nice and pleasant. First time we went for wine tasting and second time we went for a picnic. Overall we all loved it. Definitely will be back and back again!

Last here ~41 years ago. Was just a counter offering baguettes, cheese and wine with open space to picnic. Really developed, offering a wide selection of food and beverages in the deli building, wine related items and great service. Tons of picnic tables and now a beautiful venue for events. Highly popular and rightfully so!

Justin and Lorenzo were great at suggesting wines during our tasting. We were surprised how much we liked the Madeira. There was a barbecue food truck at the picnic grounds on the Saturday that we went. The grounds are beautiful!

Well reviewed vineyard that makes wine accessible to the masses. You can buy the wine, some cheese and other small bites then take them out to the yard and have a picnic under the trees. Staff are friendly and helpful and it’s a lovely place to be in spring and other months when the weather isn’t too hot.

Great wine tasting and selection at V. Sattui. Lots of people were here when we went on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely make sure you have a reservation for a tasting. This place seemed very family friendly; we noticed a surprising amount of children here. Lots of parking available and is easy to navigate. Good variety of wines available here. V. Sattui will definitely have something everyone/anyone will like. Would recommend to families on vacation, couples that are just starting wine tastings and wine lovers alike.

Great wines! The person who assisted me was Carlo, he knew the wines to perfection. He asked me a couple of questions and he knew exactly which wines I would like. I enjoyed the place and almost all the wines except for the desert one, I didn't like it. I ended up tasting about 10 different wines and i was only supposed to taste 6 I believe. You also get two chocolates while wine tasting. The place has sandwiches which are make there while you look at it. The parking lot was full and it was free however I was told that you need reservations, which I already had but I thought you may like to know if you never been there. One can also get married here the place has a little area for the ceremony and reception. It has beautiful white roses, green grass, and it also has a patio area with benches where you can enjoy your sandwich and more wine of your choice. Some people were dress to impress I wear jeans, white t-shirt and sandals. 🤷🏾‍♀️ the bathrooms were clean, the place itself was clean. Enjoy and have fun!

V. Sattui is the place to go for anyone looking to hangout and have a good time! Not only do they have a wine tasting room, they also have a market and deli with a plethora of wine to choose from. Food: They have a market and deli here with sandwiches/pastas and easy eats. They also have lots of cheese, wine, and cracker choices. Atmosphere: I haven’t been to the wine tasting but I have family who went and thought it was enjoyable. I truly enjoy the outdoor seating with picnic tables under the trees. It is a beautiful and spacious area, however it does get crowded very easily as this place is incredible. Price: Prices are normal for everything here because it’s Napa Valley prices but worth it for the vibes. Parking: Parking can be tricky when it’s super busy but they have lots of parking to the side and back of the building. You don’t have to pay for parking.

Lovely winery, very relaxed with good options (deli & wine tasting). Good for first timers too :) you get to choose the 5 wines you taste from a list of over 12 wines - red, white & dessert wines. Best to make a reservation in advance.

This is one of the best wineries in the Napa Valley. The good part of this winery is they accept walk-ins. You have the option to buy wine from their store and drink in their common area even if you don’t have an appointment. Their winery tour do require appointment and would advise to get it in advance. The winery is really beautiful and plenty of seating and walking space. Their architecture is very good with plenty of parking space and overall we had a really good time.

We made a stop here whilst on our honeymoon road trip from SF to LA. We booked for the Bubble Bar tasting and it was incredible. The experience was lovely, the place was so beautiful and I must have a special mention to Denise, who works there on weekends. She truly went over and beyond to make our experience unique and incredible. Thank you so much. The bubbles were delicious, we had such a great time and even brought 2 bottles home with us!!

We went with our friends, who are members, on Friday at 11:30 for wine tasting. My recommendation is to get a reservation on Friday as early as possible before the place was crowded. The grounds are fabulous! The wines are delicious. We ended up splitting a case with our friends.

Our wine dealer Julie is amazing. She told us a lot about the wines we tasted, the flavor profiles, and the history behind some of them! The wine is fantastic! We liked all of the ones we've tried. My favorite is the Madeira. The grounds are amazing, there's so much to look at! Great shaded areas to picnic from the cafe and drink wine. Highly recommend going here! The price was great for the quality.

An Italian style winery set in at beautiful garden. Plenty of options for different types food so you can enjoy picnic in their yards. They even have BBQ truck here. Lots of energy, vibrant and just fun for whole family.

We had a wonderful experience at V. Sattui. We did an outside, seated tasting with a cab upgrade. Not only was the tasting worth the price, we loved the venue and the expertise of the servers. The space was so welcoming and relaxing. Would highly recommend!

I’ve had such a great experience wine tasting. Mike F was amazing, he listened to the type of wines I love, he made great recommendations. This was definitely a personalized experience and I can’t wait to come back! make sure you get there early (10am-10:30am), less people and you can find parking. It starts to get crowded around 11:30am and parking can be difficult. Their indoor market it’s amazing: a variety of cheeses to choose from ❤️

Very nice gift shop. Deli food for sale inside including a huge variety of anything you might want for a charcuterie board or wine night. Beautiful outdoors area. Only drawback was you can't just buy a glass of wine. Either have to buy a whole bottle and drink it outdoors or purchase a tasting package at the entrance.

We were able to do tasting without making reservations. Carlo & Joe were great and we had a really nice time trying out the different wines they offer. Heating available if you choose to do the tasting outdoor. Surprised that their Madeira is really good. Kindly note that they only sell their wines here. So grab whatever you like while you are there. We were offered 10% on 6 bottles (able to mix) They weren’t pushy on sales or the membership/club. Overall we enjoyed our visit, had great time exploring the compound and dont skip the marketplace too as they have lots of treasures in there!

Came here with a group of 4 and what a fun experience! Good: - We got extra pours since we had 2 birthdays! Thanks Ed! - Each wine was really good quality and I liked the dessert wines a lot - It’s very pretty inside, there’s a fountain and the inside of the tasting room is well lit too - Price isn’t crazy per person either Bad: - A little busy so it might take time for you get served! Overall super happy with the trip and getting to try out all of the different types of wine.

V Sattui was such a lovely experience for my wife, baby and I. There was lots of sitting spots in the back and in the front picnic areas. The deli is not crazy expensive and you get really good stuff. You can definitely tell ingredients are high quality. We arrived around 12:30ish on a Friday and it was already busy, so definitely our next visit will be earlier! Try the Spicy Italian sandwich 🥪 it was so goooood!

My most favorite winery so far. The experience was wonderful, the wines outstanding and the service is OMG I have no words. Alicia has so much knowledge and her carisma makes everything special. You sit outside and the view is amazing. They have a market where you can find delicacies, souvenirs, wines and more.

Very nice winery. Oscar explained the history and assisted in our wine tasting. We purchased wine, bread, olive oils, and cheese. Took nice pictures. The property is amazing and great for weddings and grippy events. The staff I interacted with was Julianna, Oscar, and the cashier, who was not very pleasant after it advised her that she overcharged me for bread, had an attitude, and questioned my request. Unprofessional! Parking was adequate.

Beringer wine tasting is different from most of the other wineries in the area. Usually, at other wineries, they sit you down and walk you through all the different wines (usually 3 or more) that you taste and talk about the history of the vineyard and climate and all but at Beringer, they give you one glass of wine and then you can roam around the premises and explore the area on your own. We got to pick one wine from the 4 wine options we had - white wine, rosé, pinot noir, and cabrenet sauvignon. When you walk around the premises, you can scan bar codes at different areas and learn about the history of the place. There wasn't much to explore. The main big house has wine tasting rooms inside, but those, I believe, are reserved for members. You can still go in and explore. They didn't have any charcuterie options except the two charcuterie board assortment we found in the gift shop in the refrigerator. The staff at the gift shop wasn't the most friendly. We went on a weekday so it wasn't busy. There is plenty of seating including some picnic style tables for big groups.

We visited here on a recommendation for a veranda tasting and it was simply wonderful. From the moment we checked in we were greeted warmly and asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. We explained it was our honeymoon and my the time we were seated (after a lovely stroll through the property’s gardens) there was a card on our table congratulating us! The wines were absolutely delicious and explained brilliantly. The accompanying cheeseboard is a must to include and getting to take the physical board with you as a souvenir is a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our time here and can see why it’s constantly winning awards due to the beauty of the property, the knowledge of the team and their outstanding customer service!

Grounds were beautiful, winery was nice! The house was amazing! We reserved a private tasting room in the main house, it was perfect! Decorated and felt fancy!! Really great experience. Make sure to have a reservation.

Stumbled upon this winery while we were in between other winery visits and I’m so happy about it. SUCH a warm welcome from when we step foot on the property. We did the $20 self tour and I highly recommend it. The property is plenty big and lots to see. Would love to come back and do a tasting/guided tour next time.

Very impressive vineyard and winery, beautiful setting, but somewhat disappointing tasting. I found Napa in general to be more industrialized, touristy, and snobby. All these apply to the experience in Beringer. The tour and tasting are overpriced and not very informative. The wines are definitely overpriced. We tasted white and rose while touring and a couple of reds at the shop, it felt very rushed and impersonal. Unless you buy an overpriced bottle, nobody really cares about you.

The cave tour at Beringer Vineyards is truly exceptional. The team at the entrance is incredibly welcoming and goes the extra mile by remembering visitors' names, which adds a personal touch to the experience. The tour itself is outstanding, and the presence of the winery makes it a truly perfect outing.

I would stop here just for one glass of wine and to roam the gardens and check out the house. It’s more about the view. The house is really cool! Reminds me of maybe a haunted place that should be in a movie. We read on a blog that if you had a military ID you got a free glass of wine, but when we got there, they said that that was not true, but they honored it for us when I showed them what I had read on a Napa Valley website. So that was very nice! When you walk up and through the back garden, there’s another tasting room in the back, and then you can walk all the way over to the house through the gardens which is cool. Don’t forget to take your videos and photos!

First time in Napa , and is was one of my favorite vineyards. The experience with Jesus out tour guide was amazing . He taught a lot of wine and how each pair of food and our pallets affect each wine . The castle tour was amazing indescribable just breath taking . It’s a must to visit ! We will be back again in spring

One of the big 3 early vineyards in Napa 150ish years ago, Beringer has witnessed and influenced the growth of the local winemaking industry. A ton of history at this vineyard with gorgeous architecture and delicious wines. We were lucky to have Jose lead us through the winery. He has deep knowledge of the local history and the nuances of different varietals and vintages. A must see to understand the area and appreciate the craft.

I'm a Napa fan for the cool scenery and vineyards more so than the tasting, and Beringer is my favorite destination for their wine tours. Really cool to get to wander through their wine caves which are built right into the hillside. Both their gift shops are an attraction unto themselves, especially within the historic architecture. This is always a main attraction when I visit the area.

Good place for beginner wine tasting. The vineyard is definitely small in size compared to other vineyards in Napa. The main attraction is just the main building, the cellar, and a small field of grapes. We did the taste of beringer tasting. The tour starts in the visitor center, then to the sensory garden, the to the building for tasting. Each wine had its unique flavor, paired with food, provides a food intro to wines in general.

Beringer is a Napa stalwart. They have been producing award winning wines for decades. The tasting rooms are beautifully done and the tour is spectacular. Reservations very highly recommended on weekends

Beautiful grounds and establishment. Grounds are incredible, people were nice and greeted us upon arrival. Did the Tour and Tasting. Very informative on history of the family and the valley. Wines were good. Visited the Mansion while there. Told we could check out the first floor. Disappointed they turn it from a house to a gift shop. Would have liked to see it how it was when they lived there. That was only thing I was disappointed in.

Cool wine tours that go through the history of wine making here since the early 1900s. Theres also an incredibly cool looking house in the vineyard. Plenty of parking.

Wonderful tasting and charcuterie board with tour was the best time ever! Thanks to Lisa Laidlaw for setting it up and joining us as we enjoyed all the tasty wines, food and company. Hanna's service was extraordinary and above and beyond. The tour given by Logan was informative, entertaining and filled with tidbits of interesting and obscure facts that kept us enjoying the tour the entire time. Sierra came by to make sure we were well taken care of and we were! Thanks, hope to return again

This is one of the best vineyards and would highly recommend them for wine tasting and touring. We did their cave tour and it was out of the world exceptional. Would highly recommend having a reservation. We got delayed due to traffic and called them ahead of time and they were able to accommodate us well for our tour. Their cave tour includes three wine tastings. They do have an option of just touring the caves for non-drinkers. Their estate is one of the best for strolling around and grabbing wine from their store and relax with your sips. Plenty of outdoor seating available. Plenty of parking spots available as well. The vineyard has a long German history which was well explained by our host for the cave tour. Overall a fun experience and one of the best vineyards in Napa.

Absolutely amazing place to visit. Beautiful vineyards, manmade caves full of wine barrels and great tasting experience. Mark was doing great job explaining histories and stories about the winery, with humor and enthusiasm. We tried 6 different wines, including aged and fresh from a barrel of a same kind. 5+ stars!

I was highly recommended to make the drive up to Pride by a well respected winery Ambassador. I did not have a reservation but thought I would take the chance, the drive up is stunning, and challenging so ensure you have a designated driver if you are tasting. Upon arrival I was greeted by Nicole. After letting her know I did not have a reservation she was very welcoming and appreciated I had made the drive and had been personally recommended by another winery Ambassador. Nicole spent considerable time with me introducing me to their great variety of quality wines and sharing the story of Pride and the unique position they are on, both up in the hills and with vineyards in two different counties. It was worth the drive. Thank you Nicole and Pride.

Pride is absolutely beautiful! The grounds are absolutely impeccable. We highly recommend taking the trip up the mountain, so worth it! Krista was the absolute best! She made the whole adventure. Her energy, humor, and knowledge were awesome. The wine is 10/10! We can’t wait to come back and see Krista!

As a novice wine drinker, I didn’t have much knowledge of what to taste, look for or say about what I tasted. This was our first stop when we got to Napa, and our tour guide made it all the more special. I thought I might be judged or feel out of place, but I was welcomed with open arms and given plenty of knowledge of how to taste and drink their wines. We needed up buying multiple bottles to ship home. I can not twist to return the next time we make this trip.

There’s a reason Pride has almost a perfect 5 star review. Excellent wine and a gorgeous winery with cave tour. The views of the vineyards are spectacular. Let’s start with the 15 min drive up the hill, which gains about 2000 ft in elevation. Lots of turns so those who struggle with car sickness should take note. You’ll pass gorgeous vineyards as you meander through a thick canopy of forest. The tasting room and facilities are beautiful. Lots of photo opportunities throughout the grounds. Nicole was our guide and she was a joy. The tour of the cave was my favorite. You can smell the oak and wine as they are aging hundreds of barrels. There were at least 3 tastings inside the cave and we also got to experience blending some cab with our merlot. They happened to be pouring a 2005 Merlot and allowing a purchase allocation of one bottle. We did not hesitate and promptly purchased one. Don’t miss this experience. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful scenery. Knowledgeable staff. Dana... you're then best tour guide and tasting guide. We were 5 mins late due to not realizing the winding road leading to this winery would slow us down a bit. Dana probably wanted to kill us for being late but you would have never known it. Also guy at front desk gave my spouse an elixer of sparking water and bitters to rid her of her car sickness. Totally worked.

Pride Mountain is an absolute must experience! The mountain drive might be a little tough, but the scenery and tour experience make it all more than worth it! Staff is very informative and welcoming whether you are a connoisseur or novice in wine.

This has been my favorite wine tasting in Napa so far. It was a local suggestion to us during a tasting at another winery. Krista was so amazing! Loved her personality and welcoming attitude to a tasting experience. She did not make you feel like you were beneath her because you didn’t know the great deal she knows about wine. Very fun and enjoyable experience and got her card to come back and book with her again. The wine was so great. I didn’t have one I didn’t care for and bought a couple of bottles. The grounds were beautiful and loved the cave tour. Thank you for such a great time and will see you all again in the future!

Pride Mountain Vineyards was our favorite Napa winery, bonus because it’s Sonoma as well. Couple of things that made this incredible: 1) our tour guide/wine educator Dana. She knocked it out of the park. Personal, knowledgeable, and super fun! 2) Going in the morning was stunning. We did a 10 am tour. When we arrived, the vineyard was covered in clouds, when we finished the tour the clouds had cleared and you could see all of the rolling hills of this majestic vineyard. 3) The wines were outstanding, best we’ve had. One word of advice, don’t make it your first winery, maybe a day 2 winery. Pride was our first winery of the trip and only a few others got close in comparison to our Pride experience.

Andy was professional, knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. He made sure to take lots of photos of us. The winery sits right on the Napa/Sonoma border -they have it marked onsite. The wines are superb. The Cabernet Franc was our favorite. The drive back was beautiful.

Absolutely loved this winery. The tour was insightful and fun and the perfect length of time. Every wine we tried was delicious and the location is gorgeous. The drive up was tough on the tummy- take it slow and you will be okay.

We had the pleasure of visiting Pride Mountain Vineyards recently, and out of all the tours we experienced in the Napa Valley, this one stood out as our absolute favorite. The informative nature of the tour truly made it an exceptional experience. Their vineyards are in both in Sonoma and Napa. From the moment we arrived, Jay Herbert , our guide at Pride Winery took the time to explain every step of the winemaking process with passion and expertise. He emphasized the significance of the soil and how different soil types can influence the flavors and characteristics of the grapes and what type of wines are for each soil. It was also fascinating to witness firsthand how the grapes were delicately separated from the stems. One of the highlights of the tour was our visit to the caves. The sheer magnitude and beauty of the underground cellars left a lasting impression. It was truly impressive to see the barrels of aging wine lining the walls, creating an enchanting ambiance. Of course, no winery visit would be complete without the opportunity to sample their wines. Pride Winery did not disappoint. The tasting showcased a range of their offerings, and each wine was a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication of the winemakers. Jay provided us with extensive information about each wine, allowing us to gain a deeper understanding of their unique characteristics and flavor profiles. Leaving Pride Winery, we couldn't help but feel a genuine love and appreciation for the winemaking process. The knowledge we gained during the tour will stay with us forever, enriching our future wine tasting experiences. And, of course, the quality of the wine itself was nothing short of excellent. If you're looking for an unforgettable winery experience in Napa Valley, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Pride Winery. It is up the mountain , with spectacular views of Napa Valley. This was the most amazing wine tasting I’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere, the grounds, our private tasting, and of course the amazing wines!

This stop was a recommendation from a friend. It was absolutely worth it. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Jay our host. He got our group together. Called everyone by first name. He made the experience fun and personal even though there were 3 different couples in our group. Of the many tours, this one did very few tastings just standing or sitting at the bar/table which was great in my opinion. Jay shared a lot of energy and passion with our group making it a memorable experience for sure. Even taking pictures for us along the way. I’d definitely return on the next visit.

My husband and I went to Pride Mountain yesterday morning and had a truly excellent experience. Our guide, Mark, was incredibly knowledgeable and delivered impeccable service. My husband and I have been on many wine tours and done countless tastings, but we found that this tasting/tour was one of a very high standard. Not only was every wine one worth tasting, the overall experience was one we will never forget. Mark brought humor, generosity, and a very polished breadth of knowledge about Pride and the wine industry itself. We truly appreciated this high caliber experience and expect to come back!

Pride Mountain is always a must when we visit Napa/Sonoma. We had an incredible VIP experience thanks to our fabulous Wine Ambassador Dana! Dana is truly passionate about the wine world and offered us great insights during our tour/tasting. Our tasting experience with Dana was out of this world! Before our appointment, we even had a picnic at the top of the mountain which offered breathtaking views of the winery. Pride is a beautiful winery that makes wonderful wines. We were thrilled to meet their new winemaker, Matt, who promises to make some very exciting additions to the Pride Collection. Undoubtedly, Matt is adding value to an already highly reputable team. As drinkers of Pride wines for over 15 years, we are pleased to join their elite club. We will savor their gorgeous wines for year to come!

I recently brought my family from South Korea to Napa Valley, and we had the pleasure of visiting Pride Mountain Vineyards. Our host, Nicky, was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. She took the time to explain everything in detail and answer all of my dad's questions (he was very curious). We had a wonderful time tasting the wines and learning about the vineyard. Nicky made us feel like we were old friends, and she went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. I highly recommend Pride Mountain Vineyards to anyone looking for a great wine tasting experience. The wines are delicious, the views are stunning, and the staff is top-notch. Special thanks to Nicky for making our visit so special! We will definitely be back with our guests.

The wine tasting experience at facilities are excellent. Has was the staff. The staff was super friendly and engaging. I love that we could even try the now ripe berries. This review is not necessarily for the wine so. That's two individual.

Hall wines are delicious and the tasting included some tasty cheese as well. The tour left us disappointed as it was mostly focused on the art pieces around the facility, rather than the wine making. It seems the emphasis was about how rich the owners are.

One of the most beautiful wineries we went to in Napa! The architecture is very modern, the grounds are tranquil and serene, and the tasting room was stunning views of their vineyard. If you are a lover of right angles and delicious wine, this winery is for you! Thwart have a great outdoor patio off of their tasting room and a great outdoor seating selection along the grass and their infinity edge fountain. We spent hours here just basking in the sun.

We went on a tour and tasting with Ron. He was very knowledgeable and the wines were very enjoyable. The winery has great art and we enjoyed the tour and wines so much, we joined the wine club. We are looking forward to going back to the members area for more wines and our future shipments.

Best All Around Winery we visited over the weekend. Joego was our guide at the tasting and answered all of our questions. He was obviously knowledgeable about the wines and winemaking but also knew how to show us a good time. Taylor helped us as well! To top it off, you are surrounded by art inside and out along with the beauty of the building and natural beauty of the surroundings. We joined the wine club and will come back to St. Helena with friends and try the Rutherford tasting in the future.

Can't say enough good things about our experience here. We had reservations for the Hallmark tour and tasting on Easter. They had a very cute addition of a basket of eggs to their rabbit sculpture when you first enter the winery. The tour started off with a taste of the 2018 Tug of War (Zinfandel) before a short walk around the grounds where you get to learn about some of their outdoor art sculptures. After viewing some more art pieces indoors and learning more about the winery in the cellar, the experience ends with a private tasting. We initially got to taste the 2017 1873 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2019 Jack's Masterpiece, and the 2017 Bergfeld. We also got extra pours of the 2018 Exzellence and their signature 2017 Kathryn Hall Cab, which was definitely our favorite of the bunch. Overall amazing Cabernet Sauvignon and a great place to bring out of town guests! As an FYI, the winery was also very dog friendly. Most groups sitting outside had dogs, and there were even 2 dogs on our tour.

The best wines in the valley! Highly recommend the Platinum tasting! Lindsey was a fabulous wine educator! Beautiful property, clean bathrooms,c fresh look and jaw dropping scenery!

I visited Hall for the Art of Cabernet Tasting Tour and the property was beautiful with art and sculptures incorporated into the decor and landscape. Sid, our guide, was very nice and gave us a quick tour of the grounds and brief history of the vineyard. The wines were good, but conversations about the pours were lackluster - probably because one of the guests were loud and obnoxious, so everyone outside of his group just kept to themselves. Not sure that our guide could have done much about the dynamic, but I also hoped to see more of the wine making process. Overall it was a good experience.

Staff: Friendly, provided a lot of information while we tasted the recommended red wines Wine: Good taste, but that's subjective anyway. Some grapes are coming from other vineyards Property: Super nice Prices: pricy af… Conclusion: I'm no expert and I can fully understand if you're into wine and like the Hall so you spend >$100 on a bottle, but there are much cheaper and better (from my perspective). So no recommendation

It’s NAPA so a lot of the same. Had a nice cheese plate with a tasting. Grounds are as nice as any other place. Wines were good. Some better than others but everyone has their own likes. Service was friendly.

I recently had a wine tasting for the Platinum collection experience at Hall winery. The service was truly fantastic. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. Because of that, I wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience. The management team was also excellent. In summary, I can’t express enough how satisfied I was with service and wine. What an amazing tour of the grounds. We ended up getting a membership which also includes exclusive wine tastings on their private patio, private events and quarterly wine allocations. We were given a tour around the grounds and even tastes some of the grapes. Really loved the architecture and artwork too. At the end of our tour we were also given a selection of cheeses and nuts in a private room. Loved how friendly and welcoming the staff was!

The sign out front says “walk-ins” welcome. A reservation is not required. However, at 3pm on Tuesday I was told you were too busy for a tasting by one of the 4 people at the front desk. There was hardly anyone there. Extremely rude. The wine is overrated.

We went to Duckhorn for an afternoon tasting. It was easy to schedule one the day before since it’s the off season. The estate is beautiful. Scott and Chris who helped us were friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and their history. We also added a cheese/meat plate to go along with our tasting and it was such a nice surprise. Would highly recommend the whole experience.

On a cold and rainy day we had an extremely pleasant tasting on the patio. Miguel was a high point himself. He offered my wife a blanket, had a welcoming and comforting way of explaining the wines and process. The cheese plate was excellent and paired really well with the wines. The property was beautiful and this was probably our most zen tasting, allowing us to enjoy the wine and the company of each other in a relaxing environment. Would recommend.

Heard from Napa regulars that Duckhorn would be a good spot to visit. There are hundreds of vineyards in Napa and it’s helpful to get local recommendations vs TripAdvisor or maybe even Google haha I loved it from the moment I pulled in. I came alone and booked the tasting menu that came with cheese and other small items. I was stuffed! Definitely enough to share amongst 2 or even 3 guests. I liked that it’s not stuffy, friendly staff, beautiful and warm seating overlooking a sunny vineyard. There were also heaters above outdoor seating to keep you warm in chillier months. The wine… delicious!!! Bought myself a few bottles to sent home. Best of all shipping was free (or something cheap) and the price per bottle was also very reasonable.

As always, Duckhorn pairs amazing wines and experience. We had a cat visitor, and even had a blind tasting to see if we could figure out the wine! Kristy was awesome and I always recommend going to Duckhorn of you are in Napa.

Comfortable, quiet, and utterly relaxing farmhouse feel and experience. I've been coming here for wine tastings for many years and have never been disappointed. The service is always pleasant and professional, and if you like merlot, you'll love being here. Enjoy the sunlight, bread sticks, and that feel of getting away from it all. I always leave rested and recharged, and of course feeling chill.

The grounds were lovely, and we were invited to taste grapes off the vine. This wasn't our favorite tasting experience but it was very convenient to the Wine Country Inn.

Did the Portfolio Tasting for $60/person. Tasted 5 great wines with information and conversation from our host. Scott was personable, patient and attentive. Purchased a few bottles and some gear from the lobby. Went back the next day and bought more as it was a favorite for sure. We did 12 tastings and this was a top 3 in Napa Valley.

Chris said, "I'm going to introduce the Discussion. It's better than an Argument." And that joke really sums up the brilliant experience we had at Duckhorn. The day was beautiful and we sat outside. We tasted at least 8-9 different wines (mostly reds) and munched on some delicious snackies. Our sommelier, Chris, was funny, informative and just wonderful. Now, we probably were treated this well because one of our friends is a member. But if this is how members are treated, then a membership is definitely worth it all!! You can get some really pretty pictures in the vineyards. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Such warm hospitality!! We didn’t have a reservation on a Saturday and they squeezed us in for a tasting! They also gave us a buy one get one free tasting as a military discount…60$ savings. This place is iconic.

We were blown away by the sheer excellence of their wine tasting experience. The building itself is a beautifully designed space that is both relaxed and inviting. The service was top-notch, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They walked our group through each of the wines and provided us with interesting insights into the winemaking process for each bottle. We all felt like we were getting a behind-the-scenes look at the magic that makes Duckhorn's wines so special. The wines themselves were simply incredible. Every sip was better than the last, and I found myself struggling to pick a favorite. It's no wonder that Duckhorn's wines are recognized as some of the best in the world. We did decide to buy a bottle of Rutherford. I would highly recommend a visit to Duckhorn Vineyards to anyone who loves fine wine. It is an experience that you will never forget, and one that will leave you longing for more of their delicious wine So, if you're planning to go wine tasting, do yourself a favor and head on over to Duckhorn.

@duckhornwine wine and tasting experience never disappoints. Duckhorn wines are everything you want from Napa wines…Big Cabernets and Merlots Their merlots are my favorite, full bodied and smooth. The Goldeneye Rose and Pinot Noir were a special treat that was unexpected.

We weren't certain if we'd visit this vineyard, but we're grateful we did. Bob, who wasn't initially assigned as our guide, kindly volunteered to lead us through the tasting. His generosity and expertise enriched our visit immensely. The experience was well-priced, and Bob's guidance made it truly unforgettable. The wine was exceptional, and the property was breathtaking. What an incredible experience—we can't recommend Rombauer enough.

Rombauer has always been a 5 star. As a wine club member I have always been the Rombauer poster girl. Today my experience was a little disappointing. I understand there are supply chain issues but today I purchased 2 bottles of wine and I was told I could not have a glass to take with us. Yes they are so so so short on glasses, we could not take our glasses. I asked to speak to a manager and she confirmed it. NO EXCEPTIONS. Who travels with glasses???? I would assume with a 2 bottle purchase and 2 tastings you could have a glass to take with you. Sorry Rombauer you need to work on your sources to make sure you have enough glassware. Very disappointing. OH and I bought a jacket and hat and dog leash. Not like we didn’t spend money. You are still my FAVORITE wine but whoever is managing your supplies for your vineyard needs to do more homework.

I had an amazing experience at Rombauer Vineyard. The wines were really good, and the views were breathtaking. Jesus did a fantastic job explaining the unique tastes of each wine during the tasting session. The vineyard itself is absolutely beautiful. If you're looking for a memorable wine-tasting experience, Rombauer Vineyards is a must-visit. Cheers to great wines and hospitality! 🍷

Our host claimed that Rombauer has the best view and location which turned out be true. Although Napa from any corner looks charming but Rombauer vineyards have a beautiful garden from where you can enjoy both wine and vineyards. The service is absolutely great. Our host was very interactive that we lost track of time and we truly enjoyed the conversation with their amazing wine. The tasting room is small and there is no seating. Social distancing can be a concern. After tasting you can buy wine by the glass or bottle and sit in their beautiful garden and spend as much time as you please. There have valet parking so that’s sorted. It’s a pretty busy winery so you might wanna make reservations. We were almost 20-30 mins late and yet they accommodated us without any concerns. Definitely recommend a visit.

This is one of my favorite wines and wineries! I absolutely love their wine. Their chardonnay is the best! I also love the beautiful facilities, friendly staff a d wonderful experience here. I will be visiting every time I am in the area!

Rombauer is a gorgeous property with amazing views, a stunning cave, and incredible wine. To top it off the service is impeccable. We had the pleasure of coming for our anniversary and we’re greeted, educated and taken care of by Javier. Javi was brilliant and kind and so knowledge about the valley, land and process of how all the wine was made. I would suggest going back and recommending him specifically.

The experience here has changed over the years. Our last foray here was the least impressive. We had a reserved seating area but no organized tasting. Had to go to the window and order glasses and kind of cobble together our own tasting. A little disappointed by that. Still the Chardonnay and the Merlot are delightful.

Attended the 25th annual Joy of Wine event this past weekend and it is a must if you can get tickets! It’s almost all you can drink wine from their buttery Chardonnay, newly Pinot Noir, Cab, Sauvignon Blanc and more. Dinner was delish… a 3 course meal also paired with more wine. They started off with a tomato peach salad, then filet mignon (I requested for salmon) and cheesecake for dessert. The staff is extremely friendly and generous with pours. It was my first time attending this event and now I’ll want to make it an annual thing! It was a well planned out event. Oh did I mention … you also get to go through the caves. I have also had normal tastings here and it was fabulous. The vineyard has some great views and like I mentioned, if you like a buttery Chardonnay… Rombauer is the place!

We really enjoyed our wine tasting here! We were with two other small groups and the atmosphere was lovely. The views and gardens were stunning and the wine was great! One of our favorite stops on a recent trip through Napa valley. Would definitely recommend booking a tasting experience and you can buy single glasses as well.

Had a wonderful morning tasting at Rombauer and our wine steward was fun, knowledgeable, and helped give us a background not just on the Rombauer estate, but the history of Napa viticulture as a whole. We took home a bottle of their “Joy” Chardonnay botrytised sweet wine— an absolute gem that is only made during the years where the climate & growing conditions are perfect. Our tasting fees were waived because of a community Food Drive program that they were running, and so we brought plenty of cans along with us. What a great experience from a place where you truly feel that they care!

We just got back from Napa where we visited Rombauer Vineyards. Ryan was our host and he has been for several times. We go a few times a year and Rombauer is always at the top of our list. We had an amazing tasting here. Not pushy on their club. The most beautiful property and views. Picnics are encouraged. Generous pours and you can purchase by the glass. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend!

Beautiful location. Really enjoyed how spaced out the seating was along the hillside. Enjoyed the Zinfandel. Staff very friendly, would recommend checking this place out.

Rombauer vineyards wine tasting area overlooks the hills and vineyards. Your wine tasting happens as part of a group. They provide you with a drink after you check in and take you to your designated seating area where you are greeted by your host for the hour. Our hostess was very funny and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our experience. The wine was pretty good, too. Unfortunately, they don't serve any cheese/meat. They do provide complimentary bread sticks. We brought our own cured meat, and they were kind enough to provide us with utensils so we could eat that.

Our new favorite Napa winery! They're most well known for their Chardonnay (which is well deserved!) but we also loved their Zinfandel. Kevin was a fantastic host! Very knowledgeable about the wines and the winery and even let us taste a few extras since we were celebrating a birthday. They have a small tasting room but great outdoor tasting spaces with heat lamps and a view of the vineyard. We wish we could've spent more time walking around the garden and wine cave. Will definitely be back!

This was our favorite wine tour and tasting. The history of this place is interesting and the tour guide was fantastic! Very generous wine tasting, along with a yummy pizza and tater tots at the end. We purchased the cave tour wine tasting and it was well worth it! During our tour, they picked Cabernet grapes right off the vine and we got to eat them. OMG, they were delicious!

It is a very beautiful winery! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the staff was super courteous. The wine was very good and we even purchases a bottle that would be ready to picked up in summer. Awesome experience!

I have to say... This and their other winery (Piazza del Dotto) are real ARTWORKS compared to the other wineries in the area. These are real jewels in construction, design and details. Because details make the big difference. The wine is amazingly great (the Beast is indeed a beast of wine!), as well as the service and the staff. I truly recommend the experience to all enthusiasts of wine, design, architecture and artwork.

Wow what a wonderful first stop on my (and most of the group’s) first time to Napa! We were a group 10 celebrating a birthday. Carson was our guide and he was absolutely amazing! He had such a warm and fun attitude and was so incredibly knowledgeable. He really made the educational part of it interesting but he also let us be a little silly throughout the experience. I highly recommend requesting Carson on your next visit. The winery is so beautiful and is truly a work of art - like the Murano glass chandeliers to the marble and tiles used throughout. The wine was fantastic and was so cool to taste from the barrels via wine thief. The food after the wine tasting was a surprise and was SO good! Amazing tater tots and pizza which included some of their house made sausage. We definitely inhaled the food with absolutely no shame. All around amazing experience! Thank you Carson!

Doug gave the BEST and most educating tour of how wine is made start to finish. Highly recommend requesting him for your cave barrel tour! He was so much fun and had the answers to all our questions. Even recommended us to some amazing restaurants to try out near where we were staying.

Haven’t gone since Covid but used to frequent this winery, Linda Witted from Grgich Hills highly recommended it, and it doesn’t disappoint, not only are their wineries beautiful, but the wine is delicious! When you go to the estate winery you feel like you’re in the phantom of the opera play, when they pull back the curtain and you enter the cave with a beautiful line of chandeliers. We will be going back in 2024. Again the wine is so good! 😁🍷 Cheers

An unplanned excursion on a rainy Saturday took us here and what a great experience! From the checking complete with a nice beginning pour, tour of the caves and tasting directly from the barrels to the tasfy pizza and bites in the private room overlooking the entryway. The people were warm and friendly and the fellow tour group members a joy! Get yourself a friend with a winning membership and enjoy the full experience!!! Highly recommend!

Loved our tour here. We had never been to Napa, shame on us… and Del Dotto was our first stop. What an education we were given! I highly recommend this winery, the staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We added food to our tour which was a nice ending. The caves are beautiful. We are so excited about the wine we purchased!

Very unique experience. You go into the cave and do the tasting where they use a wine thief to extract the wine directly from the barrel. After the tasting food was welcome as well (especially the tater tots).

Magnificent! My favorite winery by far not only because of the beautiful artwork, the Italian design with the underground concept but because of its cave tour that offered wine straight out of the barrels! Best wine experience and tastes. We topped it of with adding a food platter at the end, well with it to top of a great tour! A MUST do!

Jeff was our host and he was fantastic! We learned so much about wine! The wine and snacks were great. Tasting from a barrel is a must do experience. You will likely tour with a few other people unless you have at least 6 in your party. Great place!

The cave experience was slightly different from the norm. The DelDotto is Venetian inspired and a skosh more romantic then run-of-the-Mill tours. We had an exceptional guide in Simon from New Zealand. The wines were fantastic of course, but the experience was worth it

This place is great (both the wine and building's architecture). The tour is more of a presentation about how it came to be, Phillip is a great public speaker. Eat before coming, the wine tasting is generous, enough to get drunk. Met a guy that said he broke his glass the first time he visited, as was close to being that person too. The other great part of it is you get pizza and tater tots at the end.

Del Dotto was an unforgettable experience! Our tasting guide, Carson, made our visit exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable! We learned so much fascinating history about the area, the architecture, and the creators of the winery. We also tasted some amazing wines! We will definitely be back!

Del Dotto is an exquisite winery. It was lavished in elegance and class. My fiancé surprised me with a trip to Cali for my birthday. He chose Del Dotto to sample wines for our wedding. The tour included a guide competent in Del Dotto’s history, Napa’s geographical location/agriculture, and the process involved to age Del Dotto’s wine. Throughout the tour, you’ll see the beautiful art and learn its history. While exploring the caves, the guide provides opportunities to taste the aging wine and purchase at the end! Each purchase is mailed when the wine is done undergoing fermentation. Complementary pizza and wine are provided at the end of the tour. My fiancé and I loved the experience and look forward to coming back to become members! ¡SALUD!🥂

Absolutely awesome experience! The tasting room is absolutely beautiful. The cave tour and barrel tastings were among my favorite in Napa! The wine was delicious and we could not resist bringing home several bottles. The pizza was fantastic at the end of the tour. I would encourage reservations as each tour is highly customized and space is limited.

Love the outside terrace and detailed explanation about this winery. Wine tasting basic course - $50/person but can be waived when you buy bottles.

This place is extremely hit or miss depending on your host. Wines can be fantastic, especially the single vineyard cabs, so if you get somebody who will let you taste through all of them than it’s an extremely educational and memorable experience. We’ve been lucky enough to enjoy that maybe twice of the dozen or so times we’ve visited as wine club members.

We stopped in here on New Years Eve with our dogs, they politely accommodated us even though we didn’t have a reservation. Kent poured us some delicious wines. His service was top notch. During our stay the entire staff was friendly and sweet to our dogs. The environment of this winery is just amazing. I can’t recommend it enough and I am looking forward to returning. Thank you to Kent and everyone else who treated us like we were friends.

The property was beautiful, and it was a very laid-back tasting experience. The wines were good, and it was nice to start out Napa Valley trip with a relaxing tasting. The tasting area on the patio by the fountain was refreshing. Our host, Kent, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will be returning in the future.

Wow! We’ve visited about 6 wineries during our time here in Napa and this winery/ vineyard was not only the best wine we’ve ever tested but also the best experience thus far. Travis was an absolute pleasure - full of knowledge and GREAT conversation. He even brought our 14 month old daughter crayons and a coloring page — and as a parent, this means a lot. 10/10. We live on the east coast but will DEF be back our next trip to Napa. I can’t say enough about what a great experience we had while visiting Alpha Omega.

Alpha Omega was recommended to my wife and I to visit for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. All the wine was incredible and the service was unimaginable. Joe was the one who took care of us and provided top notch suggestions and really educated us all about the wines of the valley and at Alpha Omega. I would recommend this place to all.

During my visit, I had the pleasure of being guided by a new friend Steve, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and the winemaking process. His passion for wine was evident, and he made the tasting experience truly enjoyable. As for the food options, there aren’t any and we highly recommend some food options. The winery's scenic surroundings added to the overall ambiance, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for wine enthusiasts and novices alike. If you appreciate fine wines and want to learn more about them, Alpha Omega Winery is definitely worth a visit!

We are wine club members at Alpha Omega and the wine as well as the service is always spectacular. The vibe and grounds are first class and we cannot recommend them enough.

A wonderful experience. Private tasting room was gorgeous and the wines were incredible! We could not have chosen a more beautiful day. Michael gave us a wonderful history and treated us like celebrities! Can't wait to come again!

We were so excited to try this place since we had passed it multiple times. Both stars are solely for ambience, which is great! But, the tasting was super expensive ($75 for 4 wines - 2 whites and 2 reds), the service was slow, and the wines were mediocre at best. On top of that, it was not busy, but we waited at least 20 minutes between each pour and our server forgot one altogether until we reminded him. We were hoping for an extra pour at the very least or something "extra" for that price, but there was nothing. We are glad we can cross this off our list, but probably wouldn't come back.

This was, hands down, our favorite winery experience in Napa Valley. Mo, our host, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and outgoing. He shared his passion for wine with us while teaching us so much about the science behind winemaking. The setting of the Alpha Omega terrace was breathtaking and relaxing - the perfect spot to kick off our wine tasting tour. The wine was also impeccable!

My friends and I had a great experience at alpha omega last week. They were accommodating and served us without a reservation. Ian, who works in the tasting room was very knowledgeable and made our experience that much better! We loved it so much we became club members. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

We visited last November and what an experience. The history and design is so unique and truly captivating. We loved the wine (my husband is a wino, I’m not & this was my first Napa trip) that being said there were a couple bottles I had to buy to take with us. Bill Farmer taught me more about wine and Napa in our time there then I’ve learned in my life! It was incredible the wealth of knowledge & personableness in this man. Now he is a true gem! Incredible experience!!!

Fun interesting atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Each room was different with touch and smell sensory stations related to wine. Our wine expert was Melanie. She was knowledgeable and nice. Unfortunately they were out of alot of the wines that we would have liked to try/buy. They are dog friendly inside and outside. Only took off 1 star for poor wine selection. Only dry wines today and it wasn't my favorite.

A friend and I had a wonderful tasting experience at Raymond today. Natalie was our server and she was so kind, attentive and generous. Definitely one of the best tasting room experiences I have ever had. An added bonus is visiting the Crystal Room to see the spectacular Baccarat chandeliers. It's cold in that room though so we were fortunate to be in a smaller room off to the side. We will definitely return to Raymond. And five additional stars go to Natalie for her excellent service.

Very different experience - fun to wander around the grounds and take your tastings with you then go back for your next tasting! Ask for information about Jean-Charles Boisset - will be amazing when John Legend adds to the winery!

What a lovely tasting. Leona was very engaging and we tasted some lovely wines here. We joined the club and got a peek at some of the other tasting rooms (very cool!)Their club also is affiliated with many other clubs so we get privileges elsewhere.

This unfortunately was the least enjoyable stop of our stay in Napa valley. Service in the crystal cellar was less than ideal. The woman who was directing our tasting (I don’t know her name because she did not share it) was unkind/rude from start to finish. From the wine perspective we did enjoy our selections-even though she told us very little about them or the winery itself. The interior decor of the room was very unique and we enjoyed the outdoor garden. But the poor service will not lead us to buy wine or suggest others to visit.

An amazing whimsical experience outside of the vineyards on a beautiful breezy day. The tasting rooms inside are all beautiful but I liked the outdoor experience the best. Great service, great pizza.

To our surprise many, if not, most places are 21+ which was disappointing. My husband went in and spoke to Marilyn to inquire and share our dilemma. Marilyn was incredibly nice and so accommodating and welcomed us with open arms to Raymond’s. She even made us a handwritten list of kid-friendly wineries in the area and attached it to a map. Ché guided us through our tasting and tour and was fantastic - kind, funny and knowledgeable :) the ambiance is funky and artistic and very laid back! It was the perfect afternoon for our family!

Where you drive out much slower than on the way in. The vineyards here and Peju are, in my opinion, 2 of the most amazing in the valley. Had to hold back tears walking the grounds. Forever fortunate for experiences like this. A MUST STOP! One word comes to mind "único" and Raymond sure is all of that and more. Kudos to Leo and all who welcomed us with open arms. #FRENCHIE

Very nice wines and good hosts. The cellar filled with glamarous decor and art was a fun juxtaposition and change of pace after seeing other wineries. The other tasting rooms all had their own kind of more nuanced charm. Meandering through the grounds was nice but it is sure to be nicer in the spring.

We had a great time here with Che! I had us booked for a Crystal Cellar tasting, but she took us all over the property to see the history of Raymond, and taste some of the amazing wines that they make (many that aren't sold outside the winery!). We also chatted with her about the Winemaker for a Day program, which we'll be definitely doing next time we're out in Wine Country. Raymond is a fever dream; imagine a working winery crossed with Baz Lurhmann's Moulin Rouge (which was playing in the cellar as we tasted!), and that's what you're in for! However, and I can't stress this enough, it's not all show and no go -- the wines are excellent too, and that's good (there's no amount of flash and pomp that will make up for mediocre juice). Also of note, Raymond has a pretty extensive library catalog; Che was able to source us a birth-year wine for my wife, which is amazing enough in and of itself, but it also didn't cost us a fortune to get a wine with several decades of age (in fact, it cost less for us to buy that than it did to buy some current-release vintages at other wineries we visited!).

We just had (15 August 2023) an absolutely incredible time at Raymond Vineyards in Napa Valley! The vine tasting experience hosted by the knowledgeable and wonderful gentleman, Paul, was truly unforgettable. His expertise and passion for the wines, history of the region as well of the vineyards as well as all the expertise behind made the tasting even more enjoyable. The picturesque unique setting of the vineyard added to the charm, making it a perfect day. I love the love for the crystal glass of the owners too. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a top-notch wine tasting in Napa Valley. Shame we couldn’t stay for the party in their signature night club 🍇🍷🍇 PS: @Paul it will be GBP fiver with the King Chuck for your collection next time :-) Thank you for a terrific time 🙏🏻

We tasted wine in the Crystal Cellar. Wow! The decor is so cool, from the French crystal chandeliers and grand mirrors to the enormous stainless steel vats. We had a fantastic, knowledgeable hostess that answered all our questions and explained the biodynamic farming process used to produce some of the wines. There's a garden to walk around at your leisure, and the entire place is picturesque with lots of photo ops. Next time we visit I'll plan to stay a bit longer to take in the beauty of this vineyard. It was a very enjoyable time that I recommend highly.

Such a beautiful winery and vinyard. The food and wine pairing was delicious and the wines are very nice. They let us try 2003, 1994, and 1988 vintages among many others.

One of the most exclusive wineries in Napa valley. Very secluded and uniquely located. Joseph Phelps is definitely known for insignia but a lot of wine lovers will appreciate their Chardonnay as well as Buckus. Definitely recommend it

I would give no star if possible. We went for food and wine pairing , which was $350 plus tax and tips (menu below). For that price range you have certain expectations but this place felt short in every way. Mediocre food and wine. We were also told they have a maximum 6oz wine per person policy so we were not able to revisit any wine. Never had that in any other winery before. Our party was 18 people and they only assigned us 1 host, which was clearly not sufficient.

It was a phenominal experience for us. Elena was an amazing host who helped us throughout the whole tasting session and she actually made the experience much better. The wines are prepared in a way that they should be.

The entrance is shrouded by a beautifully re-purposed ex-Sonoma County bridge. That theme is followed throughout.

Don’t get the last tour of the afternoon. Human nature kicks in and the guide wanted to be elsewhere. Still fantastic views and delicious wines. Stingy on the pours and revisits, would have purchased more and we couldn’t enjoy a bottle on the property.

Been a member for a long time, for 7 plus years. And lately I noticed their customer service has been declining consistently while the price has been increasing. That’s fine, it’s Napa we get it. We had many fond memories here until lately. We took my mom to tasting this Memorial Day weekend and felt really disappointed. We wanted to take some pictures in front of the terrace and was being told in a very rude manner that we need to leave in 30 seconds because the area has been reserved for private tasting. We were sitting there for tasting in the past hour or so and we had to go through the terrace on our way out anyway. There was no sign saying no picture or no one can stay longer than 30 second. Plus it’s an open area connecting terrace to the indoor tasting room. We took 5 seconds for picture taking and mom felt so embarrassed being talked to in a such harsh manner. It’s a terrible experience. Joseph Phelps is no longer what it use to be. Or its staff need to be better trained to work in hospitality industry.

Different food and different wine as the menu changes seasonally, but still fantastic. Johnathan was our host. He and the rest of the team were great. I highly recommend the experience.

Being a devoted Cabernet Sauvignon fan, I was elated by their selection. The 2019 Delice, Napa Valley, was a sensory masterpiece, offering fragrant gardenia, stone fruit, and delicate tropical notes. Layers of passion fruit, ripe peach, and guava danced on the palate, evoking memories of Canadian ice wine – prompting me to acquire a bottle for my collection. The outdoor setting allowed us to soak in the breathtaking vineyard views and relish the gentle breeze. We were pleasantly surprised to find cozy blankets thoughtfully provided at the seating areas, ensuring we stayed comfortable even if the weather turned a bit chilly. Our overall tasting experience was nothing short of great. The combination of exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, a knowledgeable host, and the idyllic ambiance left us with smiles on our faces.

Have been a wine member here ever since they completed their new facilities. It’s definitely one of the wineries I take all out of town folks to see. The view is brilliant and the environment is peaceful and quiet. The staff are all super nice and helpful. They take the time to not just educate us on the wine but how it’s made and what they feel the next batch of grapes may taste like. If you have time, try to do the Insignia blend class. Learned a lot and had a fun time. I’m looking forward in finally trying out their food and wine pairing soon some day.

Just had one of the worst experiences at the vineyard. We paid for an Insignia weekend for the members. We had to sit with people who only talked about investments in diabetes needle and how much money they make. It ruined the whole experience. The seating is unfortunately prearranged and in corporate feel and fashion. What a waste. The food, well, subpar would be a compliment. As a globe trekker, I would skip this experience. Only do it because my husband likes to try some older wines. 1 oz. is all they are permitted to pour of each variety they have for the day. It’s not in the original owners spirit but a great introduction to corporate winery management and marketing.

Stunning facility and views. Hands down best views. However, at $250.00 for a couple very disappointed in the pours. They were short and often uneven. In addition, they didn’t change glasses between pours, try a Syrah, same glass, try a cab, then a Pinot. Same glass. There were only 2 others couples there so it isn’t like they were busy.

This was one of the best tasting experiences we had in the valley. Chris was very attentive to our party. He brought the knowledge and the charisma to our visit. We got to tour large casket rooms. Overall, the wines were great too. Amazing Cabernet. We will definitely be coming back.

I was not the fondest of this place. If you're looking for good wine and nice service, I recommend one of the smaller wineries like Cosentino or AuburnJames. At Merryvale, we booked a wine tasting because this location had so many good reviews. The wine was OK. It wasn't good, it wasn't bad. It was the only winery we went to that I didn't finish any of my glasses. Location is beautiful -- but if you want a good glass of wine, I wouldn't recommend this place.

What an amazing experience! Chris guided us through so many great wines. A beautiful, laid back atmosphere. They have these large casks that you can sit in and enjoy their Profile wines and hands down do it! We can’t wait to go back!

The wine was anything but exceptional. Advertised a raffle for the table for a free wine tasting and then never followed through on the contest. Our pourer was not professional and made sarcastic jokes. I would not recommend this winery.

This was one of the most amazing wine tasting experience I will remember for a lifetime!! Initially the outside doesn't seem like much but once you enter the inside, let me tell you everything is perfect. You can even taste wine in a large wine barrel but call in advance for reservations. My friend and I went here a few weekends ago to celebrate our birthdays and Manny Lopez gave us the ultimate merryville experience! He took us on the large barrel tour and allowed us to take pictures, as well as the quick tour of the back small barrels. He treated us like VIP and if we were napa natives would probably get a membership here. Manny was the epitome of customer service and deserves a raise! He is also an excellent photographer. We really appreciate the extra mile he went to give us a good first experience in napa. This was our first wine tasting stop and honestly all the other wine tastings paled in comparison. All around good service, clean and beautiful environment and amazing service. The wine is amazing too.

This is what you imagine a wine tasting is going to be like. In the cave, with the owner, spending time enjoying wine and hearing stories for hours. Oh, and every wine was one “we’d want to drink at home” (as Todd asks).

The wine is absolutely wonderful! We’ve visited many vineyards and this farmer owned and operated winery is by far the best we have experienced. Do not expect the fluff of the big $ vineyards. Expect great wine (no exaggeration or fluff here either), real people, and true commitment to being the best. No detail is missed. From the early season vine nurturing, to the grape harvesting, to the wine making, it is all done very thoughtfully and intentionally. Purpose drives this vineyard and it comes through in the end product. The wine is worth every penny and every last drop is exceptional!

We have been going to Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards since the early 90's. Like a fine Grand Cru, they have become better with every passing year. My wife and I have experienced and endured many changes in the valley over the past decades and I am happy to say Alexander's Conn Valley has remained consistent. Changes have been noted, but when it comes to their excellence the only changes that have occurred are that their wine and the experience they offer has gotten better. My wife and I of course know it is a team effort, but would like to especially recognize Zartha. Zartha took us in at a moments notice and gave us one of our most memorable wine tastings to date. Her knowledge was equal to that of her graciousness, which gave us the Napa Valley wine tasting experience most people seek, but few find. After spending 2 days in Napa and Sonoma, Anderson's Conn Valley was hands down the best winery we visited. Mario took us to the wine cave where we tasted some delicious wines and he explained the history of the vineyard. He answered all of our questions about growing seasons, wine chemistry, and tasting notes.

Chef John and I had an exceptional afternoon tasting wine with Todd and Gustaf. Their hospitality, knowledge of farming, winemaking and Napa Valley's history was impressive and fun to experience. Sarah was a gracious hostess and obviously keeps the operation humming. This is a very different Napa Valley tasting experience. Down to earth people and great wines!

We had a beautiful tasting with Zartha. She spent so much time with us and we were able to taste many wines that are both delicious now and will be amazing as they age. Love the different varietals that are not as common in Napa! This is a must visit!

What a great experience! During our stay in Napa, this was our favorite place. Kris was very helpful and a great host! He was patiently answering all the questions we had and gave us a great tour of the estate. We had the wine & food pairing at the winery and the food was absolutely delicious! We did not expect such good food but we were blown away! The wine was also fabulous and we can highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a special wine experience in Napa!

Napa is now nearly hostile towards families. I get it. This is "adult Disneyland". But having found ourselves here with our kids for a marathon, and an hospitality industry was absolutely anything but hospitable to us because we had kids, Charles Krug nailed it. It's a cosy and sophisticated space with a bunch of low production estate wines. Perfect for adults. But they were also soooo accommodating to us with our kids. They found a space for us (at our request) that was somewhat isolated from the adults there so as not to bother them. Then Derek, our host, took our kids (8, 11) on a personal tour of the barrel room - relaying history and knowledge in terms they could understand, so that my wife and I could have some time to ourselves. Just amazing. Thanks Charles Krug for a great experience.

Although we are already Redwood members, the staff treated us well. We tasted varietals and vintages on the list which were quite good. We asked to do a comparison of two if the same varietal from different sections, and it helped tremendously in selecting the appropriate wine for food pairings as well as stand alone drinking. Would recommend..

The first winery in Napa since 1861. We had nice wine tasting time. They had one white wine it was a chardonnay. And the rest were red wine 🍷. And we enjoyed the reds. The tasting fee was "Napa average" meaning not cheap, but not over $50 a person. Lol. We went cause i heard it's the first. So i wanted to be romanced by hearing the history of the place. But it felt more like nice regular tasting. I wanted to hear more about the history. But it was still a nice time wine tasting

Their wines are just soooo damn good! Went there for the wine tasting, started off with a Chardonnay ending in an exquisite legacy of Cabernet Sauvignon! Do ask for the charcuterie board, the figs are amazing!

I went with my husband, sister and her husband and their kids and had such a wonderful afternoon! I called to make a reservation with Alicia and she was so kind on the phone; that extended to her welcoming when we arrived. Bianca was super informative when telling us the wines we were tasting. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Alicia even brought out some blocks and crayons for the kids to play with. They mean it when they say they’re family friendly! They’re also military friendly! Highly recommend!

This was my second time here using my little book big experience booklet. Last year Peter was our host and was very friendly and awesome he said hello to us this year and said to let him know if we need anything and MJ was our host this year. She was very friendly as well! This is a very nice Winery and is the oldest!

I struggle to pay $45 and $50 for tastings, despite that being the new normal, but I can say without a doubt that this one was well worth the $45. I have not felt as cared for or made to feel as special at any other winery. So much so that I happily skirted the tasting fee by becoming a member. The wines are delicious, though definitely on the pricier side. The tasting room is beautiful and there are plenty of outdoor areas for sitting or enjoying one of their many events. I'm definitely looking forward to making this a regular stop when I visit the area.

We have two kids, and Charles Krug Winery has amazing outdoor cabanas that make wine tasting an enjoyable experience for the whole family. The kids ate their delicious pepperoni pizza while the adults drank wine. The cabanas provide shade, comfortable seating and a beautiful view of the land. My one criticism is that there was nothing fun for kids to drink, while other wineries offer grape juice to help kids feel like they are part of the experience.

My girlfriends and I did a wine tasting with Kristopher. He was very knowledgeable and friendly! Our favorite wine was the Syarah it was amazing!

Girls did such a wonderful job by letting us in and With their help we got wine that suites our taste!! Cabernet Vintage 2016 & Syrah 2017 and sparkling !! I booked a Signature Cabernet Retrospective. We had a great tour of the property, Javier was really knowledgeable about the history of the place and the wine. Expensive, but it was worth the price. Only negative is we were served chenin blanc as a welcome glass and I can’t find it anywhere near me and it was a stunning expression of the grape.

A must do winery when visiting Napa! Incredible wine and the most scenic views in all of Napa. Javier was a wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable guide of the vineyard and offerings of Chappellet. We participated in the Signature Cab Sav Retrospective experience and we highly recommend it. Without a doubt, Chappellet was our favorite winery we visited in Napa.

I have been to many wineries in and around the Napa Valley in the past few years, and I can say without a doubt that this is the best overall experience out there. The wine is second to none. Every single wine we tasted was amazing, the views are breathtaking, and the staff is very welcoming.

When I think of Napa wineries in the best possible way, Chappellet is it. Great overall experience. Passion for wine making is strong here. Family focused, environmentally focused. Beautiful vineyards and landscape. Our host, Mason, was friendly and clearly loved where he worked. We toured the facilities and savored our wine tasting. The wines were excellent. With no sales prompting, we bought a case on the spot. I will reminisce about our visit when I sip Chappellet wine at home.

To be honest we went there for the beautiful palace and the drive and ended up doing the standing tasting. David was the sweetest and most knowledgeable wine educator we experienced over the weekend. Ask for 'David' if you are doing the tasting. He has vast experience and knows what he is doing. Their wines are really good specially the zin. Highly recommend this place for everything- good views, serenity, wines and the educator. Really happy with the last minute call.

We had a fantastic experience at Chappellet. Our host/guide was Mason and he was wonderful. And all the wines we tasted were so good. Ended up joining the club and spending too much money ;) but well worth it. Note: this is out in the middle of nowhere so if you’re Ubering…might want to consider prebooking a ride back.

She gave us so much excellent information and was so pleasant and lovely while she answered our questions! She showed us the soil samples and wine regions! She had the history of wine in Napa and ofRutherford Ranch! The hour flew by and the wine was delicious! A really great experience we highly recommend it!!

Fantastic start to our day of wine tasting. Family owned winery. Staff was super knowledgeable. Grounds were lovely. This is a great stop. It was a great introduction to wines for a novice. Very accommodating changed out a wine to match my wife's preference. Would totally recommend!

Had a wonderful time at Rutherford Ranch with my husband and dog yesterday. Thank you to Haylee for the informative and enjoyable wine tasting- and it was great to chat with Shannon and Doug as well. The whole team was so hospitable and friendly. We learned a ton about the area, winery, and wines! The tasting fee is waived if you spend over a certain amount on wines, which is easy to do here. Looking forward to being wine club members and enjoying more of your wonderful wines. Also- they brought out water for our thirsty pup :) and don’t miss the cork tree!

We went to check out this winery as we are on holidays from overseas. We took part in wine tasting with chocolate pairing. The wine and chocolate were amazing product. Not so much thier staff, felt rushed, ignored. We had to engage with staff, honestly worst tasting been to date. Our wine educator was more interested going in the other room, chatting/seating with other people at table. We would have been okay if this person would have told us he looking after another group. But nothing was ever mentioned. Wouldn't recommend venue.

Shannon was an incredible wine host and very patient. She provided a wealth of knowledge and was very kind. Great experience at Rutherford Ranch at Napa Valley. I’m from Colorado but my first stop back in California will be Rutherford wines. Give Shannon S a raise!!

We stopped at two other locations prior to visiting Rutherford Ranch and our tour guide definitely saved the best for last. The wines were amazing but the best part was our host Shannon. She was personable, knowledgeable, and made it such a great experience. She had such a wealth of knowledge about the vineyard and wines. We really appreciated her expertise and friendly demeanor. Rutherford Ranch is lucky to have her!

This one of my favorite places to go in Napa valley CALIFORNIA The tour though the old Olive trees then the vineyard to eat a wine grape and take pictures in the Vines and to touch a real cork oak tree so velvety To the touch and if you buy a bottle then your tasting is free . Oh the trolley was fun too open air.driver was amazing.

Haylee was our wine ambassador and she was amazing. It was a real treat at the end when she took us out to show us a cork tree. It just was one more little thing that she did to make her winery stand out. We loved it and would highly recommend Rutherford Ranch. The Bockhorsts

I had a great time coming here for my bday for a wine and chocolate tasting. We had a really good time hanging out with Shannon, she told us a lot of cool stuff about the wines and the winery itself. The wines and chocolates were really tasty too, even my bf who thought he wouldn't like it too much really enjoyed himself!

The tour of the vineyards amazing! Very informative and VERY PICTURESQUE!! the guide Shannon was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Haylee did an awesome job! She was so informative and friendly. We learned so much about wine and the beautiful Napa valley. The Sauvignon blanc was the best I’ve had and I even had some sent home. Thank you for the awesome time!

Lacklustre experience. The staff who presented the wines to us clearly was not trained and gave us bottom of the bottle pours with lots of sediment and called it “a lucky pour”. Clearly we don’t have the same understanding of luck…

Great wine really enjoyed walking through their Winery, barrel room. The Tasting Room is nice with the little patio that overlooks the vineyard. Nice experience.

Wonderful- definitely worth a visit. The Chardonnay and newly released Pinot noirs were delicious. Paula was a perfect hostess.

We were very much looking forward to our visit, but it was clear that Paula and the rest of the team did not feel the same way. From having to go inside to remind them we hadn’t been served our second or subsequent pours, to being told that it was appreciated we were leaving so quickly, we never once felt welcome nor appreciated, aside from the lovely dogs. The wine was satisfactory and the views are beautiful, but the experience was far and away our worst of the numerous wineries we visited during our vacation.

First time here. What an experience! Thank you Wendy for the hospitality. I can't recommend just one wine to not be unfair to all that we tasted. But if you twist my arm, do the 2015 Dedication and then the Iteration Port. Say hi to Nikki the lab.

Had a wonderful tasting this past week. The views are beautiful. Wendy was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed trying all the wines and relaxing in the tasting room with views over the vineyard.

Josh was a great. Introduced us to some great wines. Great views from the terrace. This was the one winery all four of us enjoyed.

Recently joined their wine club and love their wines, service and atmosphere. They are located in the mountains between Sonoma and Napa valleys and the drive out there, long with the view from the winery just adds to the amazing day and trip out here would make. It you want to try a smaller, slightly out of the way place, this is definitely for you!

Schweiger's is a GEM! This was our favorite stop throughout our day. Josh made the experience so much fun and was very knowledgeable. The views were beautiful and the wine was great! Will definitely be back.

Absolutely magic! On our Napa wine tour this vineyard definitely has the most beautiful setting with the best red wine of the day! It sits on top of the mountain and overlooks the valley. Stunning! Our lovely hostess Paula was fabulous and knowledgeable and we were met on arrival outside with glasses of wine ready to go!! Perfect experience. Highly recommend.

Beautiful winery, scenery, and incredible wine. The tasting are hosted on a gorgeous outdoor patio or an indoor tasting room. They included some delicious library Cabernets in our tasting that made for a wonderful experience. We met Andy and Fred during our tasting and this winery truly screams high quality that you get with family owned.

Gorgeous views…the drive up the mountain is so delightful and to get to Schweiger and sip some amazing wines, with Wendy as our host, really made our day special. Thank you! Awesome Malbec and Chardonnay…the Dedication also worthy of high marks! Yummmmmm!
