The main floor is broken up into four wings. Each wing spans a different time period. The gift shop is located on the main floor as well as access to the sculpture garden which is a beautiful setting. Downstairs there are south and southeast Asian sculptures. Then kind of tucked away on the lower level was a special exhibit. Saw a lot of famous pieces here. I’ve seen so many prints of Diego Rivera’s The Flower Vendor, and it was great to finally see the original. There were also pieces by Van Gogh and Picasso.

It's a favorite of ours! Be sure to walk around the pond with the water lilies and sculptures. There is a Cafe out there. I have yet to avail myself of it. We always visit after Huntington Gardens, but today we visited the quirky, extensive, singular, and fun Bunny Museum for 2 hours, then enjoyed 90 minutes here at the pond and in the collection. Guests even got to take home a free art print today! Military are free. Parking is free, in the lot.

This is now my favorite museum. It is quiet and small, but packed with some of the most amazing art in the world. The garden cafe is also reasonably priced for some really great food. One word…DEGAS. No wait, two words…Van Gogh!

Sixty years in Southern California and this is my first visit to the Norton Simon. It’s a right-sized museum, big enough to immerse in art for hours or breeze through and pick a few works to sit and soak in. Loved being greeted by Rodin’s masterpiece The Burghers of Calais outside the entry, I didn’t know Simon had one! The exhibition featuring June Wayne and the Tamarind Lithography Workshop was excellent, a reminder of the extraordinary art produced over the years in LA. I was especially excited to see John McLaughlin’s Untitled c. 1946 in Simon’s collection, a wonderfully tasty little painting by one of my favorite Ca artists who most haven’t heard of.

I definitely recommend planning a trip to visit. The amount of paintings and sculptures collected is breathtaking. The outside garden was stunning, and the staff was very welcoming. I'm still on a high from just being able to experience a snapshot in time from the paintings to the sculptures.

Norton Simon is a treasure of a museum. It is right off the 134 freeway in Pasadena. So much to see. My favorite part is how you can download the app and get a private little tour right from your cell phone. Love the garden as well so beautiful. Parking is free and if you have your student ID you get in for free. I love going to Norton Simon for my weekend outing.

Such a southern California gem. The museum houses six Van Goghs and they're stunning. It's a wonderful collection. Highly recommend spending a few hours here and seeing it in person. Super friendly staff too!

A very grown up art museum. Mostly paintings on the upper levels, divided by region and century. The bottom level was largely sculpture and carved bronze, stone and wood statues of Asian origin. There were 2 beautiful outdoor sculpture gardens and the grounds were clean and beautifully landscaped. Small cafe outside with a selection of drinks and light fare. $15 regular admission for adluts

Such a nice Museum. Looks smaller from the exterior, but there is lots to see, and there are a few members on the team who are always friendly (especially near the Renoir paintings). There is a large variety of art and peaceful gardens. I like that they are open late on fri and sat...it makes for a nice beginning to a night out.

Lovely bright museum with lots of art to see. Added bonus that you can bring your earbuds and listen to snippets about much of the art. Definitely for older audiences, there won't be any horse play tolerated by the docents.

Awesome experience! I got to see plenty of Picasso's and even a Henry Rousseau! I felt a little rushed, arriving at 3pm, thinking I'd get to see it all. A couple hours is not enough. I highly recommend getting here earlier rather than later. I wish I got more time to see the garden and the Asian history on the lower level.

Do not miss this. We could not believe this is the collection of one man. Be sure and see his story in the movie theater. We have never stood inches away from so many grand master works and were left speechless. The building and grounds are also impeccable.

Great little museum it will take about 2 hours to walk the whole thing a lot of great art from 1200 to present and a very nice collection of Hindu and buddest statues from the Nepal India kashmier meamar and tibet very nice exhibits

Parking: plenty of site and on adjacent street. Free. Entry: paid or free once a month or frew with bank certain cards on certain days I went on a free day, the parking lot was nearly full but I found a spot in 5 minutes. Surprisingly a good amount of well known artists including Picasso, Rodin, Rivera, van Gogh and Monet. They have sections for Italian, Dutch, French, and Spanish as well as small sections of 'modern art' like Warhol. Downstairs they have Oriental art, mostly Hindu idols and some Buddhist statues. The best art here is the Italian. In terms of LA county art museums I would place this second only to Getty center and Villa. On site outside the building they have the famous 'thinker' sculpture. Behind the building they have a pond, and nicely manicured garden with a Cafe. Definitely worth a visit

Truly one of a kind! Even though the Rose Bowl is one of the oldest football stadiums out there it still stands tall. The atmosphere is amazing and the food and amenities are very good. Make sure you get here at least once in your life!

This is a fun stadium to watch college ball. If you are ever lucky enough to get a box at the Rose Bowl Game this is a life experience you’ll never forget. Hope to be able to go again one day. Was truly so much fun.

Going to the Rose Bowl has always been on my bucket list. I finally got to go to the Rose Bowl for one of the most exciting games that I had ever seen. To top it off, my son’s favorite team, Michigan played. Not only did they play, they won!!! I loved the whole atmosphere. I loved the landscaping surrounding the stadium. I loved the ease of the stadium. I loved the well manicured field. I loved how the field was painted. I loved all the souvenirs. I loved the concessions. My only complaint is that the seats were crammed, but what do you expect with the age of the stadium. I’m so glad I got to experience a game at the Rose Bowl Stadium. It is such a beautiful place and I met so many great people. I hope to come again soon.

This stadium is huge! We Utahns tried to fill it up at 87k but we were short by 3k. I was pleasantly surprised on how well the golf course parking was. If you want to get out quickly try to get parking at the very back. The bathrooms were well managed, but good luck trying to get food without waiting in line for long. Worth the pilgrimage to this college football mecca.

This is a massive stadium and a very iconic venue. I remember going here for the 1996 World Cup! Solid spot, it’s an older stadium but it holds up to 90k people I think. For the UCLA games it’s a great spot to spectate with a lot of tailgating spots across the street. The food options are plentiful and the bathroooms too. Lots of stairs so be ready to work them legs. I can’t wait for the Olympics to come and hopefully have an event here.

The Rose Bowl is a great venue. Celebrating a 100 years this year (2022), it’s an LA staple. We do our morning runs here, sometimes we’ll take a trail. The track loop is 3 miles long so one lap and you got a good work out in on foot or bike. There’s ample parking, and a good cafe on the golf course. The only thing is there aren’t many bathrooms or water fountains so make sure you come prepared with an empty bladder, a bottle of water and a hat in those hotter days.

Came to the Rose Bowl to see Coldplay! The show was amazing, but the crowds were insane. Also, it seems the employees all have different rules to follow 😂. Anyway, beautiful place for a beautiful band!

Went to the Michigan vs Alabama playoff game this year. Was the most incredible experience of my life. The Rose Bowl lives up to the hype and possibly surpasses it. Watching the sun set on the mountains as the 4th quarter dawned is something everyone should experience. Go blue!

Save for the loss to Michigan and snowflakes in Seattle being unable to handle a little snow it wouldn't have happened. 2022 wasn't supposed to begin in California, and all signs pointed to another Buckeye's CFP appearance. But like the rest of last year a last minute scramble found plans changed with the family at the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day. From the records set to Utah's impressive fanbase it was a "granddaddy of them all" for the ages, with excellent crowd management from start to finish!

Amazing stadium but VERY POOR city planning for events with dozens of thousands. Just one road gets to the parking lots and there's always a huge bottleneck so plan to arrive at least two hours before your event. Also note that there's almost no data coverage in this area so your phone will be useless and paying for parking takes about 4-6 minutes per car and adding to the horrible traffic jam. I would never come back if it weren't for the great events they host. Prepare for a nightmare to get there and for the best show once you're through the gates!

Attended a soccer game on the 4th of July. Was sold out so the stadium was packed with 82,000 fans. Really fun experience and generally efficiently maintained during the event. Only complaint would be leaving. Hordes of people clamoring for the exit. Tip: Park at Parsons and take a shuttle bus to the bowl. We walked back however, because there were too many people also trying to leave at the same time and lines were ridiculously long.

I will never come to this place again. I came here for Cruel World 2023. They cancelled the last (best) part of the show due to lightning on the other side of the valley. This was the Fire Department's call, but the venue and promoters did not handle the situation professionally. They advertised the show as going on rain or shine, but had no rain check plan in place. The sound cut out several times during several of the performances. Again, amateur hour. Not sure if this is a Rose Bowl problem or a Cruel World problem. The promoters rescheduled the event for next day. However, they also sold new tickets so the show was extra crowded. A pure money grab. Parking was more amateur hour. They didn't have VIP or clubhouse parking for the rain check. Parking here is a solid 2 hour adventure. The parking staff didn't know where to send people. We asked one of them directly. He had no idea. People just gave up and parked in the grass on the surrounding hills. The capacity crowd and poor crowd management made it nearly impossible to see the show. See the attached pics. Unless you get here 5 hours early, or want to get physical with the other attendees, you are not getting anywhere near the stage. I have no plans on coming back here. Clown show.

This is historic, even though our Crimson Tide lost in a epic battle to Michigan we appreciate the Rose Bowl living up to its name. 'Remember the Rose Bowl, we'll win then. So roll on to victory, Hit your stride, You're Dixie's football pride, Crimson Tide, Roll Tide, Roll Tide!!"

The atmosphere in this stadium is always solid. Tickets for the Rose Bowl games always get cheaper the closer to the game, so wait to buy. The first 16 rows in this stadium are similar to the coliseum, avoid them, very hard to see the field as it is fairly flat. Other than that, not a bad seat in the house. The bowl’s corners have great views as do all the seats all the way to mid field. You can get the cheap seats/nose bleeds for football games and not be disappointed with the view. Entering the venue, parking as well as exiting will take hours so be prepared. The crowd control after the game is horrible- very tight exits, can be claustrophobic. If the game is a blow out I recommend leaving early, especially if you don’t want to sit in a car after sitting at a game. Another option is try to pick seating near the Northwest side of the stadium as you’ll exit directly onto the golf course which doubles as the GA parking lot. It will save you a lot of time as you won’t have to walk around the very congested stadium to get to the golf course facing exit.

Bucket List Item to attend the Tournament of Roses Parade and the 2024 College Rose Bowl game. An experience of a lifetime watching the University of Michigan win in overtime. Incredible event to have shared with my two sons, both pursuing their dreams of future grads of UofM. Undeniably the best vacation & experience for the three of us together.

This review is based on last night's experience to see Coldplay. As recommended by the venue, we parked at the Parsons Building, $30, and waited about 40 minutes to board the shuttle at $10 per person. The shuttles were nice and clean and arrived at the Bowl in about 10-15 minutes. All was good up until this point. We made it to the venue at about 5:30, plenty of time to get food/drinks, so we thought. The lines for food were long but completely chaotic. It was hard to tell who was standing where. Plus, with people constantly cutting across lines to make it to their destination, it was a nightmare. At one point, at least two guys got into a fight because someone "elbowed" someone else. We stood in line for about 45 minutes to be told when we got to the front that they were out of pretzels, churros, and peanuts. Only cotton candy and lemonade were left. Aside from that, there were minimal, if that, options for vegetarian, God forbid vegan, food, hence our reason for waiting in the pretzels line in vain. The predominant food options were tacos, teriyaki bowls, burgers, hot dogs, hot dogs, and more hot dogs! None of these options were vegetarian. When we went inside the stadium, we did notice a group eating Mediterranean food. Wherever this vendor was, it must've been the only one. Plus, the group said the food was overly salty! We settled on "personal size" cheese pizza, which was meh considering the $15 price. The lines were endless for drinks, but the solo beer sellers in the middle of the venue helped. At least there was no wait for that. Going to our seats was another ordeal. When we made it through the tunnel, nome of the ushers working were helpful in guiding us to our seats. One told is just to "just go down" (not whether to go left or right on the appropriate row). We ended up in the wrong seats twice as we bothered people who were enjoying the opening acts to let us through to our seats in the middle of the long, long, long row. One woman got out of her seats to tell the usher he needed to direct people better because the endless people standing in front of her seat blocked her view. It started raining hard for about 10 minutes, at which point, endless unprepared people got out of the stadium to seek refuge under trees or wherever else. Then, they started approaching the janitors for empty trash bags. At one point, people were paying top dollar for trash bags. Insane! Shout out to the cleaning crew for making top dollar just like the venue itself. I have no complaints about the sound at the venue as Coldplay was perfection all around. It's hard to believe the sound a venue of that capacity, 89K, can be so good, but it is. Unreal! After the concert, the nightmare continued. We exited by tunnel 23 and followed the crowd out until we saw the less-than-helpful workers "directing" people. We were told to go "that way," left for the shuttle line. We walked for a out 20 minutes until we saw endless people waking toward us. Then we notcied the longest line, which had no end in sight. We figured that was the line for the shuttles. Our fears were confirmed after we saw one guy working there "directing" people. He said it was a 1.5 hour wait time for the shuttle from the point where he was standing - nowhere near the end of the line, which we reached at about another 20 minutes later. Instead of waiting in line for hours, we made the 40-minute trek on foot to our car. That was the easiest decision given the number of people who were doing the same. It's a flat route and safe, even at that time (12 a.m.+). However, it's a trek, so maybe it's not the best for those who aren't in shape or walk regularly. Next time, we will park anywhere in Old Town that doesn't cost $30, eat there, and walk 40 minutes to and from the venue. It will save us a lot of money and headaches!

Granddadddy of them all !!! Great multipurpose venue for sports and concerts with good layout and overall good atmosphere, especially the drone light show at half time. I give 5 stars for the venue only. On the other hand… Concessions offer basic overpriced food and there is ample parking (again expensive) so I recommend that you park in Pasadena, choose either Parsons or the parking garage right next to it and take the shuttle because this will save you time and all the hassle and there are so many good restaurants in Pasadena that offers better value for your money.

11/6/2023 I and my friend Sherry went to Pasadena Apple Store, because I need to buy a new iPhone 15 pro max for a friend, then we parking at a small street and pay parking coins, then we cross some street arrived to the store, I bought a iPhone easy and fast, customer service is friendly, then my friend and me to visit Starbucks and buy a mocha latte then we shopping around that area, talking and go shopping around. We all feel Pasadena old town is very USA style and definitely will come back again.

I was born and raised in Pasadena. My parents still live there. I went to Pasadena High School and Pasadena City College, so I'm a product of the Pasadena Unified School District. I spent my youth in and around Pasadena so it's fair to say I know it better than most. Let's talk about Old Town Pasadena. I remember the days when you didn't go to 'that side of town'. Old Town Pasadena was just the run-down side of town, with old buildings and boarded up businesses, and hobos in the alleys. Ernie Jr.s was THE Mexican restaurant to go to, the only reason to go to Old Town, and sadly it hasn't been around for years. I heard that skyrocketing rent drove them out. But I digress. Old Town Pasadena is a rejuvenation of a district that is par to a miracle. Businesses have moved into those beautiful, old buildings. There is life and excitement there. Gone are the days of "Q's" billiard hall (which was really fun) and some locations have changed businesses, but on the whole, it's a district worthy of tourism, a chic and timeless locale for everyone to enjoy. Make sure you check out the Norton Simon Museum of Art while you're there (and I used to work there, so I can tell you that it's very cool). This is what Rodeo Drive wishes it was - quaint, not overwhelming, but classy and cool, with plenty of restaurants and shops to spend your money in. Enjoy an old town experience like nothing else. There is nothing in America like Pasadena, California - and for good reason!

Quaint well kept downtown. Most restaurants offering interior and exterior. Shop owners generally make you feel welcome. Extremely handicap friendly. Most alleys are set up in a mini strip mall environment. Very pretty

Always a treat come back to old town Pasadena. While Old Town Pasadena has been somewhat gutted since Covid, some new establishments are emerging which gives hope the town will revitalize. The architecture of old town I love and while the homeless are everywhere they’re not distributed.

Very fun town. First time visiting, hope it is not the last. Many nice restaurants, friendly people, clean, and walkable.

Old Pasadena! My first time there and it was amazeballs. I love the vibe there. Beautiful architecture, nice stores, great ice cream, awesome restaurants. Highly recommend this place for dates or just sight seeing. It's pretty cool. Wish I took some pictures 🙂

In many ways, this reminds me of Georgetown in DC with the streets of shops. There are some unique buildings and a lot of art deco for those who are fans.

Every place I go I love it early in the morning! The architecture here isn’t very relevant tru the main avenue tho there is a Miller Alley that so much worth ! Has nice things to walk around, close to this area please go visit the Mansions near the area have amazing green areas fountains and they are Historic ! With Ancient Trees I’ll add a video of that area !

I loved it! It was really great! Me and my wife took the train. We took the Gold Line and got off at the Del Mar station. It was really awesome. We were able to then walk to Old Town Pasadena. There are a lot of great shops there. And it's a great way to escape Los Angeles and we didn't even need a car! Can't wait to go back and try those different shops.

My friend and I decided we wanted to see some historic homes in Pasedena. We saw great reviews for the Gamble house so decided that’s where we were going. I bought a tour ticket online on the website fir the Gamble House, the tickets are around $12.00, tour is 1 1/2 hours long. It is a great tour, the docent had so much information about the history, it’s a famous house definitely worth seeing. Masks are required to wear inside.

Are you a fan of Back to the Future? Then come visit the Gamble House (of Proctor and Gamble). This is where they filmed the exterior shots of Doc Brown's house and garage. I took both an interior tour and a walking tour of the neighborhood. Lots of great historical information on mid-century Craftsman homes, architecture and the Gamble family. The extra fun aspect is how this location was used in Back to the Future! Be sure to get your tour tickets in advance online.

The House is still open for tours but only externally. You cannot go into the house. I got there right before 4 and was able to walk around and take photos of the property. The book store next door is open as well. There was plenty of parking. The road to get in can be a little tricky. The gate at the end was closed so we had to do a turnaround.

A masterfully designed home with thought put into every room. The staff were accommodating of disability and can provide wheelchair access to the entire first floor of the home. Our docent was knowledgeable and overall the experience was great. I look forward to returning for a more in-depth tour

The Gamble House, aka, Doc. Emmit Brown's crib is located in Pasadena and is an architectural masterpiece that take you on a journey back through time. I went in thinking I will learn some things about back to the future trivia, etc, but I was bitterlysweetly (I know that's not a word lol) suprised. From the moment we set foot on its meticulously maintained grounds, we was transported to a bygone era, where attention to detail and craftsmanship shocased in everything we came across. We got tickets for "Behind The Velvet Rope" tour. The visit includes a guided tour led by knowledgeable docents who brought the history of the Gamble House to life with their years of experience, passion towards preservation of art and architecture and expertise acquired from over a decade. They regaled us with captivating stories about the Gamble family and pointed out the architectural features that make this house truly unique and one-of-a-kind. For the back to the future fans, I'm afraid there isn't much here, other than seeing the Doc's house and garage from the outside. A little tip; if you are looking to see the inside of the house that was shown in the movie, check out Robert R. Blacker House which is less than 5 miles away. One of the little secrets the dosants shared with me while they rolled their eyes! Lol JK. They were super sweet! 🫣 That said, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting the Gamble House in Pasadena. It is an opportunity to witness architectural brilliance, get a glimpse into history and get transported to an era of unparalleled beauty, creativity and masterpiece. Buying tickets in advance are recommended but not always necessary unless you are looking to do a special tour like behind the velvet rope. Have fun!

This house is huge and beautiful! Open for tours on certain days, look ahead of time and buy tickets. There is also a bookstore/gift shop next door to the house that you can buy souvenirs at! The Gamble House is truly beautiful inside and out. So elegant. Highly recommend visiting! Also I recommend reading the website's FAQ section, as there are many rules such as no flashes while taking photos, notes on accessibility, and more.

We loved our tour of the Gamble house yesterday afternoon! Christina was our tour guide and she was so knowledgeable and informative. She was patient with everyone and did a great job of keeping the questions on track. The house was spectacular! Our images don’t do it justice. If you are on the fence about whether or not to come and see the house in person, I urge you to book your tour now! You will not be disappointed.

Weekday visit. It's more impressive in person. There is limited parking in front, I didn't know that and parked on a side street. They have tours and a book store. Great visit, you have to visit.

The quintessential example of the Arts and Crafts Movement, the Gamble mansion is a stunning must-see for students of this art form or for architecture enthusiasts in general. The tours are all guided and the docents are extremely well-informed about the home and building materials. Advance reservations are definitely recommended. Not really a place of interest to small children, however.

Did not go inside. But it was so awesome to see Doc Brown’s home from Back To The Future. It was totally surreal. The house is gorgeous to say the least. Wasn’t too bad when I was there. I have heard it can get crowded. This is a must see if you are in Pasadena.

Special shout-out to the husband and wife docent team manning the information flyers by the garage. Their passion for history and especially Back to the Future details was so charming. Loved our brief conversation, and we enjoyed walking the grounds of the house. Surprisingly nice little gift shop, too. We didn't buy anything, but it reminded me of the gift shop at the Cleveland Art Museum - an unexpected place to find gifts for loved ones.

This was one of the best tours I have been on. The house and its history are fascinating. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and well spoken. We were able to see all areas of the house. The length of the tour was good. Be sure to reserve online; it's a popular site.

The Christmas tree 🎄 was definitely a nice addition for the holiday season, otherwise, it would have been quite a boring beige monotone architecture on a rainy/overcast day. However, the architecture is the very reason why we visit here anyway. If you look at all the details on the facade as well as the ceiling in the arch, you’d know it is worth your time to pay attention to those and appreciate what went into it. Such symmetrical and geometrical shapes that it holds is just pleasing to the eye. The courtyard itself is pretty but also every corner is worth every second you take photos here. Selfies or family photos, or even wedding and engagement photos. While here, I saw a couple taking a pre-wedding bride and groom session. Very nice to photograph anyone. Highly recommend this place if you haven’t been here. There’s parking in front and behind and all around the block with the pay dispenser. They charge $1.25 per hour. Worth every penny.

After our lunch at Lunasia Dim Sum House we decided to take a short walk to the amazing building which is the Pasadena City Hall. Located on Garfield Ave. Spectacularly designed and artfully finished. With wide and nicely paved streets.

Stunning City Hall! Stumbled on this place while on a roadtrip looking for a place to walk my dog. Also loved the succulents out front. Just beautiful!!

Amazing and beautiful building, I saw it while driving and had to stop to take it all in.

One of my favorite historical places to visit in pasadena, along Plaza de las Fuentes. These areas are so nicely maintained and well iluminated in the evening. Lots of nice spots to take pictures.

It is a magnificent Palace. This place was indicated for anniversary photos. I sawmany couples in wedding attire taking photos. Quinciañeras too and babies with costumes of baptism. The Palace has a very nice artwork. Especially the patio, since it has a large and historical fountain.

Built during the 1920s, the building is a mix of Spanish Colonial and Mediterranean style architecture. The main tower consists of five floors, including the basement, however the most of the third and the entire fourth floor is closed to the public. The first and second floor has a walkway and there is a garden and fountain in the center of the open-air center. Most administrative functions for the City of Pasadena take place in the building.

What a great experience it is shooting a quinceanera or wedding client here. Love this place. Definitely use the stairwells. Soft, beautiful, light. Hope to shoot another bride and groom again here soon.

Wonderful city hall, surely one of the best of California. The building is open and free, so you can access the garden and the internal corridors to take a look inside. I recommend it if you have some time and you are nearby.

Beautiful classic architecture & very well maintained. The garden is immaculate & the interior fountain is quite stunning. I'd say this is one of the best City Halls i've visited in California.

The architecture is amaizing between french neocalssical, tuscan and californian. The builfing is gorgeous and it has a tuscan like garden with roses. It is a incredible public space. I love love love it.

I love this place. People come here to take wedding photos or profile pictures, to draw, to walk around and more. It is more beautiful especially during the night. If you visit here during the day time, I recommend you to take a rest in the garden which is at behind of the main building. I always bring my guests here and they are always satisfied.

Celebrating our 4🩷20 Wedding Anniversary on this lovely Saturday morning 💕 4🩷20🩷24 Been wanting to check this place out for some time now and it was absolutely AMAZING 😍 GOD IS GREAT! Best time to start is at about 7AM Best weather and less Crowded Oh! And if you don't want to get wet, go back home 🔙 🙂 A lot of people slip trying not to get wet and it just gets dangerous.. doesn't seem to work out. They end up falling and getting super wet, when you could've just started Knowing you WILL get wet.. Just be careful and God Bless🙏 So much fun! Can't wait to do it again!

This hike is moderate and awesome. 50/50 sun and shade. You will be hitting the sunlight till you go approach the over pass. After the bridge the canyon is more pleasurable cause of the shade, water and trees. Trail is uneven and you will stepping on rocks and boulders. Bring hiking boots if you want to prevent an sprained ankle. The trail is good for all ages and for dogs on a leash. Waterfall has plenty of water now. This trails is pretty busy on weekends and holidays. Eaton Canyon offers a big parking lot. Arrive earlier, pack in and out your trash and practice the 7 leave no trace principles. Please do not leave trash behind.

What an awesome waterfall, this is one of the best hikes I have been.. took almost 1:30 hrs to reach the waterfalls from trailhead(it won't take that long, took pictures on the way) Waterproof hiking shoes are must for better grip as you cross water flows/small rocks on the way through. By the time reached the location(8am), there are lot of hikers already on the trail. Free parking and free entry. Picnic tables are available.

Great hiking place ever! It takes some effort to get to see the water falls at the end of the trail. There are a lot of water crossings. Make sure to wear professional hiking shoes, otherwise it would be easy to wet ur feet or fall off the rocks. Friendly to doggies, my bestie Maggie did a good job, proud of her and myself.

Nice easy hike. When you see the bridge the trail will go to the left so that you continue UNDER the bridge. Lots of stream crossing that can be done without getting in the water if you're careful. I did see a lady slip and fall in so if you have poles they definitely will help you with your balance while crossing but it can be done without them. As long as you are following the water any way you take will get you there, can't really get lost so don't sweat going the wrong way. Make sure to bring a snack to enjoy once you get to the falls. 😁

Great scenery and easy 4 mile hike for beginners. Brought my parents here and we were able to get to the waterfall. Parking lot gets full fast so make sure to arrive before 6:30am for best spots.

Eaton Canyon nature trail is one of those gems that remind you WHY you live in Southern California. The hike itself goes from easy to moderate on the trails, with some more difficult patches depending on which way you go. It is extremely picturesque, but do be mindful on the trails, rattlesnakes generally cross in the mid afternoon. Keep an eye out and avoid them and you'll both have a great afternoon.

Nice trail expect to take old shoes you will step on lots of water so make sure you take shoe you don’t like. Also watch out be careful very slippery

4/27 A very scenic hike with a gorgeous waterfall at the end. Be sure to wear some water proof shoes as there are many spots where you have to cross streams. Not very strenuous but there are points where you would need to use your hands for support. Would recommend for a morning hike. It gets busy during the weekends. It's free.

It's a good place for hiking. You can feel nature and the depth of your soul.If you go to the park, plastic bags are okay for dog poop. But when you come to Eaton Canyon, please use paper bags to dispose of dog poop. Plastic bags will really pollute the land here. Do you want this land to be as polluted as China? I don't think so.

Started early due to the heat but had a great hike. Water flow seemed higher than normal. Falls at the end were worth the 8 stream crossings. 4 mi round trip from the over flow lot. Only bathroom is at the trallhead

It was an awesome hike , this is a safe popular trail, family kid and pet friendly. There was water but not so much as May. It has a lot of shade through out Not very heavy either, there were little baby frogs on the river, the main parking inside gets full easily but there is a secondary parking just down the main entrance to the left, many people don’t know about this. Bring hat, big repellant, water and a snack Portapotty at the entrance , unless the nature center is open, but it was closed even tho the sign said it should be open.

Great hike to the waterfall. I expect to see more water. However, it was still beautiful. It's not a long distance to the waterfall, but we continued up the hill. Completing 9.5 miles out and back. The weather was great. This would definitely be more challenging during the summer because of the heat, but you will see more leaves by then. The water was cold, and although there were rocks and logs to assist with crossing the creeks, waterproof shoes/ boots are recommended.

Nice, moderately difficult trail. Beautiful views. Follow the river all the way back to the waterfall.

Wonderful place for easy hikes or walking! Definitely worth to explore around. There is lot of water in this week and you need to cross it couple of times. Be prepared as it’s cold and to get a little wet up to the knees. The parking usually gets full quickly but there’s extra space in the ground.

FloatFest is a mess. Reading that it was the same last year as well. There's not enough parking and not enough buses. I waited an hour to find parking at the designated lots. Only to be told they are closed. The wait for the shuttles was 2 hours plus. By the time you get to the event, it's over. Called and emailed, they are conveniently closed until February. I want my refund now.

Easy to deal with if you could meet in person but if you forgot your rose bowl seating tickets at home and you live far, the only way to get them would be in person and if you realized this on the day of the rose bowl, I think you would’ve been too late.

I didn’t want to give this a star because there is no zero star. Today’s venue is oversold. We lined up at 1 for the shuttle to go to the floatfest. After being in line for an hour and half..we were still 2 hours away just to get into the shuttle which will be around 3:30.. last ride back is 5 pm so no time. This needs to be addressed. What a waste of money and time.

The Float viewing event was an absolute disaster. Bought 4 tickets, followed directions, parked at 1 PM. Stayed in line for the bus from 1:15 PM until 3:45 pm in the cold. The busses did not start showing up until 2:15 pm. People in white suits were wondering around, browsing social media or doing anything but being helpful. By the time we were seated on the bus the driver left and we were sitting on the bus for another good 10 minutes. We showed up at the park and while we were walking in we were rushed by running, yelling security that we cannot enter, park is closed. All in all spent 4 hours in a line to see the floats, never got to see the floats. We were told that we can use our tickets the next day. But we cannot come next day and tickets are nonrefundable. Sharp Seating Company is conviniently closed until February. Why deal with a nightmare which you created. Just let people's calls get unanswered. Everyone is left without any recourse but to dispute the credit card charge. Which is what I am going to do today. This was a very upsetting and humiliating experience. People should not be treated like cattle.

I gave it a zero star! Disappointed & upset. We were waiting in line for 2 hours just to take the shuttle from pcc to the float showcase location. As we reached the gate for our turn to take shuttle, we were told that we cannot get into the shuttle because they are not letting anyone in after 4pm. To think we were in the parking lot at 1:30 for parking, then waited another 2 hours in line to take the shuttle. You guys needed a better system. You all know there are a lot of people purchased them tickets but yet the bus came and picked up passengers one at a time which is ridiculous! All of a sudden, all these buses started showing up because it was 3:30 which they could have done it earlier instead of one bus at a time. The holiday lights parade I been to, we didn't wait for 2 hours & there were so many shuttle lining up for us to take. The guy asked us to comeback the next day which is bull because we all are working & I bet they won't refund the tickets we purchased today. SMH Bad, unorganized & very slow. The wait it shouldn't be 2 hours long to take a shuttle bus ride. I have been to prior rose parade float showcase and never have to wait in line for 2 hours for shuttle bus. We've waited for 25 minutes only.

Worst experience ever. Bought 3 programs online and everyone refused to give us one without a physical ticket. When I explained I had the program voucher on my phone and showed it with a volunteer they still refused to give me a program. Also save yourself a ton of money and don't buy the bleacher seats they are very narrow and you can buy a really nice lawn chair for half the price and get great seats showing up when the parade starts. Also parking is not an issue unless you are in the main section.

The seating at the Rose Parade was nothing less than a catastrophe. Some bleachers had absolutely no one to help you find your seating,others had mafioso types going through bags like they were authoritarians.Some said we needed clear bags,others didn''t even look at bags.My ticket was scanned multiple times. The 50 dollar parking for 2 hours was a total rip off.Next time I go I will take folding chairs, and park for 20 dollars.

Beware of buying tickets through Sharp Seating. We travelled cross country to see the Rose Bowl Parade including the event for viewing the floats on December 31st. The tickets must be picked up at the Sharp ticket office which is not conveniently located. We faithfully asked as to when we should arrive at the event, anticipating long lines. When we arrived, we saw that the line was extremely long. After we waited in line for an hour, we were told that Sharp oversold the tickets and we would not be admitted to the event. We were turned away along with hundreds of other disappointed guests. Sharp Seating over sold tickets to the event on 12/31! my wife and I tried to contact them by phone and email several times in order to obtain a refund! We subsequently Contacted the Rose Bowl committee who indicated that sharp seating was closed for the month of January. The Rose Bowl committee should find another ticket vendor.

Our company has worked at JPL for over 50 years and it is great to be a small part of the support of space exploration and the advancement of scientific knowledge. A great place to take your kids on a school field trip or to visit when they have their annual open house. Lots of cool stuff to see!

Absolutely out of this world experience! Seeing the Space Flight Operations Facility in person is an absolute MUST for any space enthusiast. Seeing the Spacecraft Assembly Facility in full action with the next generation of orbiters is incredible.

I’m a space junkie and it’s so cool to see the history of this place. Really enjoyed the tour with our friend and got to see some stellar stuff. Lots of walking because the campus is huge so make sure you bring good walking shoes. Love the history of this place. Gift shop was cool and had 10% off when we were there.

A great scientific institution with inspiring missions to the solar system. Come visit on a public tour or during an annual open house.

If you are ever in the area, book a tour to this amazing place. The tour takes about 2.5 hours and there is about a mile of walking. You gain a true appreciation of the exploration that continues every minute of every day. The tour is informative and interactive. Lots of displays and life-size models of spacecraft.

Amazing stuff. To see where the incredible talent that brings crafts to deep space and more make it all happen made ne feel like a kid again. Got to see perseverance being built 4 years ago and now Europa clipper satellite due to launch next Oct 2024. Wonderful tour wish I was smart enough to work there haha.

They have a building where they build spacecrafts that you can tour and watch them build spacecrafts which then get launched into space. 10/10 Did I mention Mission Control?

I’ve had the pleasure to visit JPL a few times over the years. It’s amazing that such engineering feats and scientific discoveries have been made so close to home. As an outsider to engineering and tech, this campus goes out of its way to welcome guests and employees alike with captivating exhibits and thorough, easy to read signage and explanations. The employees are thoughtful and interesting characters to say the least…if you know one, try having them host you for a private tour. I need to come back for one of their regularly hosted outreach talks and other public events. As they say in the space community, Ad Astra!

There are no words to describe how incredible it is to be able to know a NASA building, especially JPL, where extremely competent people come together for the sake of science for the evolution of humanity. The building itself is from Caltech, but everything that is done in it is for NASA, so it can be said to be in fact in it. The guided tour is for hardcore nerds, lasts 3 hours and has a lot of explanation. I was fascinated and ended the tours wishing there was more, but my wife was tired at the end of the tour. So consider this, not for everyone, but even tired, my wife loved the visit. No wonder, it is a great privilege to know a little more about the place that sends probes and satellites into space, it is the central control of everything that man sent to space and is from the moon ahead, with people who are very serious about everything they do, being able to see it all up close is a tremendous privilege, especially for children, who can get in touch with such deep subjects while they are very young. The souvenir shop is also very cool, several authentic NASA swags to flaunt around the world. If you are a space fan, and you want to get real high, this is the place to go! Do remember take more pictures than you should, so you can get more orgasm back home. This place don’t open that often, like a day of annual open house sth.

NASA is awesome and the history of this place is amazing. The public visitoocenter is easy to find and fun to enjoy.

Beautiful campus for a nice walk. We did a self guided tour based on a guide on their website and learned a bit about the institute's history and what is studied in each building.

Some cool older and more modern buildings. The website has a walking tour map of you want to check out the main sites. Bring water if you're doing this in the summer as it's hot and the campus is huge!

California Institute Of Technology is the greatest learning institution on the planet. My personal experience with doctors, teachers, students, alumni and researchers is extraordinary. The campus is beautiful and massive. Located in a prestigious area of South Pasadena, the campus is home to sprawling buildings, gardens, laboratories and understated California architectural masterpieces. If you decide to tour the campus, check out the turtle ponds, the library and the newest additions to the campus, neuroscience and molecular biology research centers. I always get a special feeling walking around the campus having been exposed to the work being done here, big breakthroughs in science, math, medicine and technology happen every day. This university is beautiful, but what's inside, and what comes out of here, is extraordinary. If your mission is changing the world for the better, finding cures, searching for the answers to life's greatest challenges, and saving lives, visit, register, study and volunteer at Cal Tech.

Serene and elegant. Campus is not that big, but it is incredibly beautiful. I lived in San Marino for two years. I took a lot of pictures then. Every time I look at these pictures my mind is immersed in a tranquil atmosphere.

California Institute of Technology, the absolute pinnacle of scientific knowledge and cutting edge research. This university is truly a spectacle and an inspiration. There are beautiful landscapes, gardens and walkways. The architecture is different for every building,ranging from early 1900's to modern and futuristic.

A beautiful campus that is very well maintained and open to the public + in a great location in the heart of Pasadena. From green open spaces, to peaceful water flowing through rocks river-style, stylish cafeterias and modern buildings, it’s a pleasure to walk around. Great place for running/ cycling / walking your dog.

We went on a self-guided campus tour - the gardens and open spaces were open to visitors. This has to be one of the most beautiful places to study and learn. We really enjoyed touring. The campus is sprawling and very nature-oriented. The turtle pond is a must-see, given its historical significance! You can read about it in the Self-guided tour online.

It's pretty small as far as campuses go; it's a great place to take a walk around. Academically speaking, it's one of the greatest schools in the world;)

Its one of the world best technical institute. But this review is more about its campus and its greenery surroundings which is so pleasant and cool even in hot sun. Building architecture with supporting natural greenery balance is awesome. Morning, evening is good time for walk, jog and a whole day to spent with family in this lock down. Have water bodies with beautiful lotus and places with tortoise and fountain add extra happiness. Campus restaurants are closed and sitting area still open. A lot parking space. Enjoy the campus by following lockdown rules.

Cashless ticketing, concessions and gift shop! You must bring a card. We went during the butterfly event and there was a beautiful mobile inside. In addition to a variety of hands on science apparatus they had plenty of gross motor opportunities. There was art, imagination play, engineering. We especially enjoyed the flowing river to cool off. I loved the selection of healthy kids friendly options at the restaurant. 10 Stars, or time for by, the price was very enjoyable and my kid joyously participated in everything they had to offer. Lots of adaptive equipment for different abilities and participation levels.

Loved this museum! Spent 4 hours here over Halloween wknd and loved it! So much to do and loads of fun. We tried every activity in the outdoor area, all physics related and so much fun! They also have indoor activities, we saw some snakes and checked out the Mighty Build but it was quite small and didn’t appeal to our 7 year old. Didn’t try the cafe but staff did tell me that they do cater for allergies, they had GF items but we didn’t try them. You have to pre-book tickets and your entry time slot. Masks worn throughout and staff ensures everyone complies. Overall, definitely worth a visit!

This was so much fun with so many options of play. We had a great time despite the heat. The staff was absolutely wonderful and friendly. It's a beautiful space for kids and their grown ups.

Such a COOL experience for the kids! They close at 5, & very strict about everyone exiting the park at 5. Because there are a lot of exhibits & activities, I would recommend at least giving yourself a few hours time to enjoy.

We came on a Sunday afternoon with no wait to get in and no crowd at all in the play zones. So many zones for our kids to play. There’s an area for indoor playing where the AC works amazingly and there outdoor play was huge! The Indoor areas have two climbing towers, the kids loved that. An art room for you to all enjoy and do whatever art project they have going on. Play pretend areas and a really cool bug room! Outside was our favorite! Even though this place is a lot more friendlier for younger children, we brought our pre-twins with us, and they absolutely loved it here! The outdoor was something we definitely did not expect, they had so many different areas to play pretend from a farm, a huge fort and a mini river, fishing, gardening, again just a ton of areas for the kids to enjoy. It exceeded more than my expectation of this place. We can not wait to go back!

What a great way to enjoy your day or half day. Make sure you give time to see all the spots they have to offer! Minimum 2 hours. Pack a snack. They have food also. In the outside area they have a water fall where the kids can go in it. Bring change on clothes. Let your kids have Fun!!!

Great place to take the kids. There is an inside play area that is designed like a ant tunnel with a caged area above ground to climb. So many different learning activities as well as ways for them to physically run and move around. The kids were having so much fun, definitely worth getting a membership!

I grew up coming here as a kid and it’s so fun to be able to take my own kids here to play. There’s so many areas of different of activities and are really interactive. There’s an outdoor water area so bring towels, swimsuits and SPF. Plenty of parking around. I’d recommend bringing your own lunch/snacks. When we went they ran out of of most menu items and the wait was pretty long. I didn’t buy our tickets in advance and luckily there was no wait for us. The staff are friendly and everything is well maintained and clean. Lots of fun and hours of play!

So many activities and very friendly staff. Our toddler was entertained the whole time. There's a course for tricycles, a playground, so many areas to climb, lots of water play (bring water shoes and change of clothes), art activities, engineering and science activities, etc. Indoor and outdoor options. Food from cafe was very tasty. Lots of stroller parking. Multiple gift store and snack purchase areas. Parking is free but open to public of park, playground, swap meet, etc so it gets crowded quickly on a weekend.

Kids Space in Pasadena is an absolute gem for families! We recently visited with our children, and it was an unforgettable experience. The variety of interactive exhibits and activities kept our kids entertained and engaged for hours on end. The facility is well-maintained, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We especially loved the outdoor play area, which is perfect for burning off some energy. It's a great place to foster creativity and curiosity in children. While we did notice that it can get quite warm on sunny days, we didn't let that dampen our spirits. We came prepared with sunscreen, hats, and plenty of water, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's a small trade-off for all the enjoyment Kids Space offers. In summary, we can't recommend Kids Space in Pasadena highly enough. It's a fantastic destination for families, and we'll definitely be visiting again soon!

It is very good place for kids under 7 playing, tickets are 15$ per person but I recommend it to get membership for a year,

I love it. Have tons of both outdoor and indoor activities to keep kids off the screen. One of my kids grew into appropriate age to visit this place and I was excited. Summer was pretty hot, kids pretty bored so we headed out there. Well, we had a good time! Started with ant maze and explored enitr museum top to bottom. Recommended place to take your kids 3-7

Love that there are indoor and outdoor activities that allow for independent exploration with information nearby, self guided. Frequently refreshed with seasonal activities in the arts and crafts and outdoor areas. Typically open daily but always check the website or call as they may be installing new features and be closed for a day or more. Multiple restrooms available with kid size sinks. Snack bar and designated eating area available near the entry. Plenty of parking adjacent to the Rose Bowl aquatic center. Also a nice park/walking area outside the entrance, great for longer evening walks and getting the kids’ energy out. Comment if you find the pirate ship!

This place is wonderful for children. Great to spend the whole day outside with your kids. Different places to play. The whole place is clean and tidy. However not much shaded place outside.

This place is better than Disneyland and so much more affordable and where kids really do go have fun and make forever memories. The staff is great and friendly and helpful. There is so much to do there. My granddaughters 2 & 3 never were bored or asked to go home. Great time can’t wait to go again!

Fabulous place to take the kids for the day, lots of things to do for both our toddler and 7 year old.

When visiting I’m the summer: bring lots and lots of water, snacks and a swim suit for the kids. The indoor play/learning area is not well cooled, and there is very little space for adults to sit while the children play. My child loves to play pretend and loved all the places to go and hide or explore as part of her games. The crafting area was really cool, too. The materials are open and available for anything the children want to create without limits or prescribed art assignments.

Amazing place for young kids! Went again a few weeks later...still a phenomenal time! We drive from Orange County just to visit.

Beautiful historic playhouse with the highest quality performances. I saw, “One of the Good Ones” which I HIGHLY recommend. A brilliant and poignant comedy in the storytelling style of Norman Lear - covering sensitive cultural and family dynamics in a meaningful and comedic way. The playhouse is gorgeous, the seats are comfortable. There is limited concessions offered outside, and limited lobby space for gathering before the show. I didn’t see a gift shop. Parking is easy and right across the street. There was a special “Event Parking” price of $5 for the matinee performance I attended. Overall, a stellar experience and I highly recommend this beautiful theater. The only downside is that I’m short, and the seating is almost level, so I had to try to see around the head in front of me for most of the performance. But I would definitely return and bring a cushion to sit on.

Have seen several incredible shows here over the years, beautiful venue with top notch programming. So happy the lights are back on!

We had the opportunity to watch Kate Berlant perform at the playhouse, and we had an amazing time. It's a really cool piece of history. The theater is nice and small, there didn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. The employees were all nice and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We are looking forward to attending future shows at this theater.

Love the Pasadena Playhouse! Saw Freestyle Love Supreme there on Saturday afternoon. Convenient parking right across the street. Decent selection of restaurants close by. Appreciated that the theatre checked for COVID vaccine and also required masks while indoors.

This is a nice little theater. I really liked how there was a lot of leg room between each row so that people could comfortably get to their seats without stepping on anyone's toes! We saw Little Night Music and we just loved it! The actors were excellent, the music was fantastic and the costumes were great too. I was also really impressed that subtitles were available throughout the entire play

Pasadena Playhouse is a fantastic venue for live theater in Southern California. The historic Spanish Colonial Revival building, designed by Elmer Grey, is beautifully restored and features comfortable seating and great views from every angle. The productions are always top-notch, with talented performers and excellent direction. We saw Hershey Felder do a lot of shows here a while back. Whether you're a longtime theater fan or a first-time visitor, you're sure to enjoy your experience at Pasadena Playhouse. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and memorable night out at the theater.

A local gem that’s been around !!! You will enjoy what this place offers: good shows, beautiful interior, good views of the stage (no bad seats), friendly volunteers, etc. Parking has never been a problem for me and there are a lot of great restaurants around or within walk distance of the playhouse.

My husband and I walk by here ALL the time. I won a pair of tickets to watch Sunday In The Park With George…but I got sick that week and was DEVASTATED we couldn’t use them and I had to give it up so other Yelp elites could use them (wouldn’t want it to go to waste). My husband surprised me by purchasing orchestra seats and to the same play so we could watch it before the end of the month! We walked here so I can’t comment on the parking. The theatre itself is super cute and beautiful. The all-gender bathrooms upstairs were useful because I saw later there was a long line to the women’s restroom. I know the theatre is aged but I have to say, my back hurt from sitting in those chairs. Aside from that, we enjoyed the play and the talent of the performers and musicians!! Also, the sheer screen to cover the live orchestra while it reflected amazing images, was so cool!! Would definitely come back!

Went here for the opening of the season. Saw The Spund Inside featured Amy Brenneman! The venue was great outside and inside. Very convenient location with restaurants and cafes within few blocks away. The theatre has a small paid parking lot right directly behind it. $1.50/hour to park!

There’s a reason this is a Tony award winning venue! Obviously the review is partly because of the production I saw there (One of the Good Ones) but the space itself is wonderful, and staff and volunteers were very friendly

Wow! What an amazing venue! Seats were comfy, the view was clear and the sound was excellent. I saw Inherit The Wind on opening night. So many celebrities! They make great use of all the space with the courtyard and the tables on the side. So happy with my experience and this historic and stately theater.

Despite accessibility language on their website, this company is hostile to people with disabilities, especially wheelchair users. If you are disabled or love someone who is disabled or believe in inclusion, don’t come here. If you are choosing a venue for your production, look elsewhere. There are many options in LA, and we have been to over 7 theaters. This is the worst for accessibility we have seen. Despite notifying the venue that we needed wheelchair access when we bought the tickets, they had no idea. When we arrived they explained they had no place for us planned and directed to sit along the wall on the far side of the aisle, about 6 or so feet from the nearest real seat. While they may fulfill the barest legal regiments of disability access, to try to put my five year old wheelchair user off on a corner of a hall, visibly separate from the rest of the audience is inexcusable yet they seemed to think this was perfectly acceptable. I let them know I would sit in the audience with my son on my lap. This will not always be possible and is not a good solution. The extra wheelchair transfer was stressful. The usher made no move or offer to help me shift the necessary bags and supplies from wheelchair to seat. We felt decidedly unwelcome and would not return. The staff made it clear that they did not see the problem in any of this. Do better or at least remove the accessibility language on your website as you clearly don’t actually care to include all children and people.

We came for the play “Uncle Vanya” on the opening night and it didn’t disappoint. Upon our arrival, the staff checked vaccination cards before allowing entrance to the play. Masks were required to be worn during the entire play. Uncle Vanya is a theatrical classic. I honestly loved "uncle Vanya" the character, the actor did an amazing job in the play. The theater itself is beautiful as well. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating, we even heard some good history from the staff inside the members only lounge upstairs. It was the first Wednesday of the month, aka wine Wednesdays, where complimentary wine and beer are served before the show. There is plenty of parking at the back of the building, and also a parking structure just across the street for $5. (They close at 11pm) Overall, we really had a great time from the beginning to the end!

Very nice museum with lots of information, sculptures, pictures etc. I wish there were more martial arts exhibits. Seemed like the second Sunday of the month was free.

I am volunteering at this museum since 2016, and I am so excited to let everybody know about their new Chinese Gallery, Silk Road Gallery and 50th Anniversary Special Exhibition. The museum has transitioned to the place to immerse yourself into the Asian and Pacific Island culture! Request for the newsletter because there will be more neat exhibitions coming up at this museum.

It is the best museum I have visited so far In Los Angeles county. However museum is small but you will learn something new. We appreciated the tea & Chinese woman clothes displayed. I would suggest to visit the museum when it is the free day. The staffs working are very friendly and welcoming.

A small, but nice museum featuring Asian art. There were no wait times, and ticket prices are affordable. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

A great downtown addition to growing LA's art scene. I was really impressed with the Mark Bradford's fabulous murals and for the inclusion of several other African American artists that were new to me. I utterly loved the (free) special entry infinity room and many other individual pieces.

Wonderful Asian history museum. There’s a special exhibit on Bali at the moment that was amazing. The permanent exhibits are beautiful, the facility is quiet, and the courtyard is stunning and zen. Discounted or free tickets for USC students, seniors, and veterans. There is a parking lot adjacent to the museum that is free.

Terrific selection of art and divided up by regions for the permanent collection. I really appreciate the hands on and interactive exhibits as well. Beautiful courtyard area and plenty of parking. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of art in the newer collections. Attaching some of my favorite pieces of art I saw there. There is a free entry day each month. I think it's the second Sunday. Their gift shop had a really nice selection of goods.

Parking: free (at least on Sunday), they have the lot on the corner. Plenty of space then. Entry: check online. Free once a month on Sunday. Beautiful building, tiny koi pond, great for pictures. One section is contemporary art that is only tangentially Asian (usually they have Asian heritage). The permanent exhibits are amazing, some very old, and well crafted.

Quaint Museum in the heart of Pasadena!!! Very accessible and they have a good sized parking lot north of the building and the entrance is on Los Robles. Now to the exhibits; although limited, they are beautifully curated. Think about a smaller version of the big museums although they’re featuring only the “bigger” countries in Asia. Currently, there is a special exhibit about “Dismantling Orientalism” which about presenting the Orient not from the stereotypical eyes of the West which I believe presents a fresher and more accurate take on the subject. I’d like to affirm and thank Grace Nicholson for her vision in making this place available to all. Plan to spend an hour before hitting the dining spots in the area. I also recommend spending a few minutes in their garden and appreciate the architecture.

A relatively small museum but so much to see! I went on a weekday afternoon and it was quite empty. Really nice courtyard with a beautiful magnolia tree. There's a nice interactive exhibition for kids in the first room. Interesting exhibition upstairs too!

I love the museum, the perfect size Museum. It has art from Japan, China, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, India, China. Also modern contemporary art relared to asia pacific. A true joy and and wonderful place to visit.

I loved this museum, their rotating exhibition Global Asias is cool, has so many different types of art, very pleasing to the eye and culturally relevant. I also checked out the permanent galleries and it is definitely worth visiting. This museum is free during the month of May during AAPI Heritage Month

Seems everyone is renovating. Pacific Asia Museum is also doing repairs in 2024, along with other walkable venues. Saw some really original contemporary films and multi media exhibits. The Kiss of the Rabbit God was especially engaging. The permanent exhibit is always a pleasure. Amazing art from places you'd expect and a few surprises. Thursday, you pay what you want. Parking is right next door and free. The Tea House wasn't open. The gift shop is airy, curated, and though pricey, there are deals. Looking to revisit and review again, post repairs.

We were here to attend Alien Con 2023! Perfect venue for the event. Main auditorium with lots of separate rooms for presentations. Big exhibition area where the Vendors were. Safe and secure area. There is parking nearby at reasonable rates. There is mall area across the convention center.

..... Went to the Pasadena COMIC-CON yesterday and again, the Pasadena convention Center was great and many of their employees were so friendly and outgoing with me. I couldn't help but notice that the center was also very clean and well kept up. Good work!

Really stunning exterior and interior with comfortable seating and convenient access to restrooms! The restroom for men never had a line when I went to visit for a free showing of America’s Got Talent (AGT), but the restroom for women did and it was quite long. There are also water fountains available for use in the lobby. Overall very fun experience meeting the stars of AGT and participating in a live filming! No complaints with this facility based on the short time I was there.

Had a great time representing the company I work for at the Pasadena HomeShow event that was taking place at the Pasadena Convention Center this wknd. Very spacious location! Parking too, be prepared to pay $15 for the whole day pass.

Our trip to the convention center for a gymnastics competition went really well. The building is pretty and clean. The staff is friendly and organized. The only thing we did not like was the parking situation. We had to do a bit of research and discovered it almost better to pay for the Sheraton Parking since it is much closer to the venue!

The chocolate salon was great. There was a lot of newer chocolatiers with tasty chocolate. Charolettes Truffles we’re delicious and absolutely stunning to look at. Amano chocolate was so full of flavor and family running the booth was very knowledgeable. The Polar water was so yummy and the gal running the booth was super sweet. The event started late and one of the speakers was unable to make it but the other presentations were very informative. I would totally recommend.

I’ve been coming here to Pasadena convention center for a long time I went to conventions like SoCal retro gaming expo anime Pasadena Pasadena comicon and it’s really amazing to be at these conventions. I wish there was like a K-pop convention at this place. I’d love to have one someday, only thing that sucks. Is they make you pay with cards instead of cash to get food and that’s not fair especially getting from your celebrities with $60 instead of a free one they need to do that at world kindness day but other than that my love coming here and I’m hoping to go to more events like that in the future

Very cool park! Tons of little spaces throughout the larger park to enjoy. Gently maintained, and native plants throughout. Tons of seating areas (chairs, tables, and benches). Highly recommend! There is plenty of street parking out front. Multiple entrances, and many paths. There is a guide/map and it is worth checking out prior to exploring. Dog friendly, and kid friendly. But not all parts of the park paths are completely Ada accessible (there are parts too narrow for wheelchairs or strollers).

Such a gorgeous neighborhood garden, it is small, but peaceful and intimate. It’s conveniently located across from the Storrier Stearns Japanese garden. There are lots of benches, chairs, and picnic tables inside the garden, it’s easy to find a corner to enjoy some quiet moments by yourself. It’s also good for family and dogs (Yea, it’s doggie friendly) It’s perfect to come in the late afternoon in the Springtime, you get to see some beautiful flowers and plants, and the weather is not too hot out. Nevertheless, I noticed that there are quite a lot of bees and insects in the garden, it’s not a bad thing but would recommend to wear long sleeves and pants if possible. Overall, it’s a lovely place! Note: -Free -Easy street parking

What a pleasant surprise to happen upon this community garden. Relaxing spot to enjoy greenery, flowers, and the sound of birds calling. Many places to sit quietly and take in the scene.

A free public garden maintained by non profit. The rain made some parts of the tails really muddy. There are some flowers blooming but not a lot. I can tell the garden was started off with a nice design. I wish they can get more attention and maintained better.

A beautiful, well-tended community garden! There is plenty of outdoor seating shaded by umbrellas. Clean port-a-potties available and trashcans throughout the garden. Free street parking nearby. They sell homemade marmalade at local businesses and also at the garden weekly. You can garden with them too! Stop by and recharge during your lunch break. Lots of lovely trees, flower, and cacti to enjoy. Fun installations like the wishing tree and a meditation walking path. Do yourself a favor and stop by!

A great little garden. Tons of hummingbirds when we visited. It's small enough to walk around in 15 or 20 minutes but it was worth the trip

We were greeted by a very friendly lizard who showed us the way in. Such a quiet, insect buzzing and birding jewel in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Beautiful garden to enjoy the various plants, trees, flowers and seating areas. They have a labyrinth, native plants and an herb garden. Nice place to meditate, relax and stay cool.

Seasonal blooms in full action. Now offers porto potty and water fountain. What a bonus add, when parking is convenient, and lots of meditation spaces. Tucked away in a Pasadena neighborhood, this is a hidden gem I found years ago, and it is even more attractive as this place gains more and more caretakers to keep it as natural as free as possible. I would give this place a 10 stars if it was possible.

Free, peaceful, tranquil. Bring a book and a lunch and find your favorite nook amongst the trees. Plenty of benches and chairs. The flowers smell so nice.

Low key stroll on meandering paths with plenty of benches and hidden cubby holes to rest and relax. On leash dog friendly, stroller friendly, mostly flat surfaces. Oasis in the middle of the city.

The place had it’s beautiful moments and scenery is nice. However, it’s not fully accessible. Other than that the garden was huge enough to get lost that I’m surprised we found our way out 😂

Peaceful and quiet park, great for our family portrait session w the Kwong clan! We went on a weekday afternoon when it was relatively empty. Great spots for photos or just hangin out and reading. Cute background for portraits. I recommend! Permits are only $100, not bad and supports the upkeep of this little gem.💎

My Fantastic4 and I enjoyed our time at this garden! They have so much to look at and even though we browsed quickly it still took 1 hour. Cant wait to visit in the spring !

Free, a very nice park with plenty of seating, even nice to take your lunch and read a book. Nice for family photos, flowers, trees and paths. There is even a troll under a small bridge. Street parking.

Indeed a lovely lil spot. Provides a very calming nature space good for ambling, photo sessions, or self-reflection. A vital spot for rejuvenation if you live in LA.

This is a wonderful little big park. ❤️ What other parks have in square footage of open grass and park facilities, this little dynamo exchanges for intensity. The park, in comparison, is small. It has walking paths and a courtyard. It also has little realms or booms or I'm not yet sure what to call them- themed nooks in the layout. An orange orchard that's dedicated to making the preserves that help fun the place. Massive pepper tree along with other old growth trees. Painters, sketches, artists of many different stripe make use of the grounds, as well as groups focused on nature awareness and togetherness.

Best time to start is at about 7AM Best weather and less Crowded Oh! And if you don't want to get wet, go back home 🔙 🙂 A lot of people slip trying not to get wet and it just gets dangerous.. doesn't seem to work out. They end up falling and getting super wet, when you could've just started Knowing you WILL get wet.. Just be careful and God Bless🙏 So much fun! Can't wait to do it again!

This hike is moderate and awesome. 50/50 sun and shade. You will be hitting the sunlight till you go approach the over pass. After the bridge the canyon is more pleasurable cause of the shade, water and trees. Trail is uneven and you will stepping on rocks and boulders. Bring hiking boots if you want to prevent an sprained ankle. The trail is good for all ages and for dogs on a leash. Waterfall has plenty of water now. This trails is pretty busy on weekends and holidays. Eaton Canyon offers a big parking lot. Arrive earlier, pack in and out your trash and practice the 7 leave no trace principles. Please do not leave trash behind.

What an awesome waterfall, this is one of the best hikes I have been.. took almost 1:30 hrs to reach the waterfalls from trailhead(it won't take that long, took pictures on the way) Waterproof hiking shoes are must for better grip as you cross water flows/small rocks on the way through. By the time reached the location(8am), there are lot of hikers already on the trail. Free parking and free entry. Picnic tables are available.

Great hiking place ever! It takes some effort to get to see the water falls at the end of the trail. There are a lot of water crossings. Make sure to wear professional hiking shoes, otherwise it would be easy to wet ur feet or fall off the rocks. Friendly to doggies, my bestie Maggie did a good job, proud of her and myself.

Nice easy hike. When you see the bridge the trail will go to the left so that you continue UNDER the bridge. Lots of stream crossing that can be done without getting in the water if you're careful. I did see a lady slip and fall in so if you have poles they definitely will help you with your balance while crossing but it can be done without them. As long as you are following the water any way you take will get you there, can't really get lost so don't sweat going the wrong way. Make sure to bring a snack to enjoy once you get to the falls. 😁

Great scenery and easy 4 mile hike for beginners. Brought my parents here and we were able to get to the waterfall. Parking lot gets full fast so make sure to arrive before 6:30am for best spots.

Eaton Canyon nature trail is one of those gems that remind you WHY you live in Southern California. The hike itself goes from easy to moderate on the trails, with some more difficult patches depending on which way you go. It is extremely picturesque, but do be mindful on the trails, rattlesnakes generally cross in the mid afternoon. Keep an eye out and avoid them and you'll both have a great afternoon.

Nice trail expect to take old shoes you will step on lots of water so make sure you take shoe you don’t like. Also watch out be careful very slippery

4/27 A very scenic hike with a gorgeous waterfall at the end. Be sure to wear some water proof shoes as there are many spots where you have to cross streams. Not very strenuous but there are points where you would need to use your hands for support. Would recommend for a morning hike. It gets busy during the weekends. It's free.

It's a good place for hiking. You can feel nature and the depth of your soul.If you go to the park, plastic bags are okay for dog poop. But when you come to Eaton Canyon, please use paper bags to dispose of dog poop. Plastic bags will really pollute the land here. Do you want this land to be as polluted as China? I don't think so.

Started early due to the heat but had a great hike. Water flow seemed higher than normal. Falls at the end were worth the 8 stream crossings. 4 mi round trip from the over flow lot. Only bathroom is at the trallhead

It was an awesome hike , this is a safe popular trail, family kid and pet friendly. There was water but not so much as May. It has a lot of shade through out Not very heavy either, there were little baby frogs on the river, the main parking inside gets full easily but there is a secondary parking just down the main entrance to the left, many people don’t know about this. Bring hat, big repellant, water and a snack Portapotty at the entrance , unless the nature center is open, but it was closed even tho the sign said it should be open.

Great hike to the waterfall. I expect to see more water. However, it was still beautiful. It's not a long distance to the waterfall, but we continued up the hill. Completing 9.5 miles out and back. The weather was great. This would definitely be more challenging during the summer because of the heat, but you will see more leaves by then. The water was cold, and although there were rocks and logs to assist with crossing the creeks, waterproof shoes/ boots are recommended.

Nice, moderately difficult trail. Beautiful views. Follow the river all the way back to the waterfall.

Wonderful place for easy hikes or walking! Definitely worth to explore around. There is lot of water in this week and you need to cross it couple of times. Be prepared as it’s cold and to get a little wet up to the knees. The parking usually gets full quickly but there’s extra space in the ground.
