It's a beautiful place to relax. The beach is very clean. There is paid parking available and its limited. We were able to see the dolphins swimming, crabs and little transparent fish or jellyfish.

Cape May Beach is a beautiful space to spend hours or days, whether in bright sunshine or overcast, and even in the winter month of February. This beach is greatly loved by all who visit.

Admission for ages 12 and over is $8. The beach is clean. This is the best beach in New Jersey.

Nice clean beach. You pay 8$ per person for the day. Clean amenities, shower to clean you up. Small snack shack. Ticks all boxes. Saw some dolphins as well. What more could beach day look like.

The oldest beach community in the US. Clean quite, family 👪 friendly. The views are amazing and the residents take care of their community. The beach is well maintained and the access to the beach in the summer one must purchase a beach tag. It's worth the price. Great waves amazing sunsets. It's a little pricey but worth the trip

Very beautiful place! Not so loud like in other beaches, not so windy . The sand is clear and an area got a lot of space as for peoples as for car parking. Along the road there are many hotels and various shops and cafes. Sometimes you can see dolphins in the ocean even from the beach.

The view is definitely worth the 199 stair climb. Don't worry there are landings every 30 steps or so. I purchased my lighthouse passport book in the museum and got my first stamp today! The nature trails are easily accessible to wheelchairs, strollers and pedestrians. Today was a great day to see migrating birds and so many bird watchers were there with their cameras and bird watching equipment. As a motorcycle passenger and rider, my husband and I are making our way around the state visiting the light houses of NJ. This was our 3rd one this year and was definitely worth the two hour scenic ride.

Loved walking up to the lookout tower in the light house! Pro tip: it is 199 steps. Children are welcome. Great views from the top! Great walks to the pond, in the marsh or pineland area or trails to the beach. Ample parking. Will return often and you should too!

While on a weekend spent at the shore with family, we enjoyed a beautiful day that included visiting the Cape May NJ Lighthouse. The lighthouse is beautiful. Most of my family hiked the stairs up through the lighthouse, but I chose to sit on an outside bench and watch the scenery. I have a spinal fusion, otherwise I would have climbed the stairs--around 200 of them!

We did a 3 day excursion around Cape May and missed the lighthouse at our last visit due to inclement weather. The 199 step illuminated spiral staircase ascent didn’t feel like a lot because of the landing areas filled with historical photos. Loved the fresh air at the top and the 360 degree view which gave a new perspective of where everything was. We didn’t explore some of the trails because they eventually intersected with the beach and we didn’t have the appropriate footwear. They have a gift shop, local museum and a friendly Visitor center where we chatted about the lantern flies detected up there a few years ago. I try to kill as many as possible and educated some visitors to do the same. There’s ample parking and well kept grounds, I’ve even noticed some people picnicking while enjoying the scenery.

We stopped in on a Saturday in mid-February and really enjoyed climbing to the top. There are 199 steps but little books going up so you can stop and take a look out of the windows and maybe catch your breath if you need to. The stairs are wide but you might have to pause in a nook if people are coming down as you are going up and vice versa. Once at the top, you can walk around the platform. Be forewarned it could be windy up there and it was the day we went. As soon as you step out of the door there is a sign that says “No Shouting” which was probably a good idea because I immediately hollered because the wind was so strong. No need to worry tho, you are caged in and can’t fall off. Hold onto your hat tho. There was an admission fee but it was well worth it. The volunteers were nice. There was plenty of parking. I see in their website they do special events - stairway to the stars at night probably would be very cool.

Cape May is a nice place to visit anytime of the year. Myself, I tend to enjoy to go now. Springtime. The crowds are smaller and so are the sweat beads. And, most importantly, the birds are so so so plentiful. From the arriving, amazing Ospreys to the beautiful, exotic, departing Snowy Owl. If you are a photographer, this is the time to be here. 😊

Visit time and again, and you can always enjoy something new. There is more to see than the lighthouse. Today we walked out to the nature observation decks and hiked a trail that ran along the dunes and returned with a stroll down the beach back toward the lighthouse (all we trekked was pet friendly). There are other nature walks that go deeper into the protected lands where bird watching is amazing (but this hike does not welcome pets). There is a small lighthouse museum, picnic facilities, and of course, the beautiful lighthouse, all nestled in Cape May Point, a lovely place to drive through a see in the southern-most point of NJ. This would be a great bike ride, or drive there and then hike the area. It is also a great visit any time of year - we arrived in January and enjoyed the slower crowds on a sunny day in the low 50s.

Pretty neat place to visit. I love going to light houses so this was on my list - but there’s also a cool world war 2 bunker right by it- so it’s neat seeing history too. It also has great views of the beach.

Beautiful lighthouse with spiral staircase to the top. Paid $30 online for two people which is a little much (the processing fee pushes it up). But overall great experience and wonderful views from the top!

Amazing lighthouse! Beautiful! You can walk to the top for a cost of $12. Spectacular views! Lots of history to read up on. Plenty of free parking. Nearby beach to hang out at and many other sights to see in the area. Take your time and enjoy!

Cape May is the southern tip of New Jersey. This is also the southern most beach on the Jersey Shore. On the eastern shore of the Cape is the Atlantic Ocean and on the western shore is the mouth of the Delaware River. Weather systems and currents mix off the point. Miles of beaches, a large boardwalk biking, walking, fishing and plenty of restaurants make for a great vacation spot. We came in February to avoid the crowds and see the beach and a dramatic sky. Ice clouds and a bright sun preceded a snowstorm. This made for great photo opportunities. We scurried home on the Parkway before the storm. Snow plows were staging all along the Garden State Parkway that night.

A beautiful classic lighthouse on the beach. A must stop location when visiting Cape May. Be prepared to make the walk to the top its a little bit of a trek but week worth it for the breathtaking views of the area. Between the lighthouse and the defense tower you will definitely get your exercise for the day!

The tour of the Lighthouse was so much fun. The staff are very knowledgeable and have fascinating stories about the history of the lighthouse. Once you get to the top, there are beautiful views of the beach, the WWII bunker and most of Cape May! I would highly recommend and go again.

Cape May Lighthouse When visiting this lighthouse, you have to climb 200 steps to reach the top where, as expected, you can see the entire beach and a good part of the city. It is open to the public for visitation. It was built in 1859

This was a fun lighthouse. 199 steps up. Great views from the top. There are trails to the beach and other areas. Visitor center, museum, and a gift shop. Could spend a couple hours here. We did stay and have lunch after the climb. And they had a huge grassy area to run our son around catching a football.

Relaxing place to be! Love the trail and the views are amazing! You have the beach, the lighthouse, a small museum, beautiful trail to walk with 3 different trails to choose from. There is also a ruin building castle like, near the beach. 💖

Nice site at Cape May that adds to the charm of this beach area. It was kinda busy, and I didn't want to wait to go up, because I only had so much time. These are awesome places, so definitely plan on going to the top. There is also the remains of a WWII bunker on the nearby beach.

Me and my wife visited the Lighthouse during our Honeymoon while we were in Cape May. It was a great experience. There were a number of stops climbing the stairs of the lighthouse where you could rest and take in the view. You can get a great view of Cape May once you reach the top. I would definitely recommend giving this place a visit if you are in the area.

Went on a Sunday at 12:30 in May. Wasn't too crowded. Free on premise parking. Indoor or outdoor seating available. Outdoor is in the sun, nothing to shade you, suggest sunblock. Service was very slow. Waitress was very kind, but we had several issues. One was the slowness. There were 3 of us, each got a flight of wine, one of them was incorrect. It took so long for her to come around again she ended up drinking them anyway. I had the sangria flight. I preferred the white sangria over the red--the mixed sangria was da bomb. It had a pineapple undertone and was on the fruity sweet side. The pretzel appetizer is AMAZING. the pretzel is crispy (not hard) on the outside and soft on the inside, so doughy delicious. The fish sandwich was probably the favorite of the day. Nice sized fish, crispy outside and moist fish inside. Mango pulled pork sandwich was basic but good. Fries were ok. They forgot one of our dishes, so I shared mine with a friend----couldn't get help or find our waitress so we gave up and split my plate. When we asked someone for help, he asked us what our waitress looked like and what her name was so he could find her. Baffling. Paying was an issue, they only accept one credit card, so there's no splitting a check with credit cards. Used the outdoor bar to get a dole whip, which the red wine dole whip was my favorite...a MUST try!! They were running low when we were there, I suggest getting it asap when you get there, not sure why there was a shortage. Its basically wine with soft serve pineapple ice cream in it. Winery was closing early for an event--check ahead of time. It would be a great location for a special event like a wedding. Really nice grounds.

Service was fabulous! Tom was great! We received water, plates, silverware, etc. almost immediately after being seated. My boyfriend and I visited the winery with my parents and our neighbors for the first time. The grounds and winery were absolutely beautiful! We’ve been to many wineries in NJ and I would say the only two things I was disappointed with (compared to others) were 1) the charcuterie board was a little light and didn’t have honey, jelly or anything sweet to go with the savory cheeses and meats and 2) we ordered 2 cheesecake platters for dessert which was supposed to be $16 for 4 SLICES of assorted cheesecakes and they were platters with mini cheesecakes/pastries and we were charged $40 instead of $32 (which was the price we were told). Our waiter seemed to be surprised at the fact that they weren’t actual slices of cheesecake as the table next to us had actual slices of cheesecake. I was OK with the “one bill per table” since we were treating, however if I was with a group of girlfriends, etc., I would have preferred separate bills. Other than that, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back when the weather is warmer and can sit outside and enjoy the fire pits and beautiful scenery. I loved the sweet white wine - the guys all loved the dry reds - flights and several glasses! Thanks for a great day!

Wonderful scenery of the grapes growing. The grounds are up-kept and very photogenic. Staff are friendly. The wine selection is good and the wines are as advertised. I would say that not having a desert option is kind of strange for a place that serves food.

Today my fiancée and I dined here for the first time, and we had such a great experience! Our waitress, Bianca, was absolutely fantastic and so sweet! We come every few weeks from PA to stay at our camper in Estelle Manor, and wanted to give something new a try. Bianca suggested some good places for us to check out while we’re here, as well— she was just awesome! The location is beautiful, the atmosphere of the restaurant and restaurant staff is phenomenal. The food is FANTASTIC! The wine was perfect. I had the very best time here and would definitely recommend to anyone to check this place out!

We saw the dole whip sangria on Facebook and knew we had to make a trip across the ferry to check out this winery. It is beautiful, with the heart of the winery surrounded by the vineyard and gorgeous gardens. The wine and food were delicious. Between our group, we tried 4 different wine flights. Everyone has a different taste, but I enjoyed the dry reds. The cranberry merlot was another favorite. I had a crabcake sandwich that was good, nothing spectacular. This winery is very expensive, but it was a nice trip with friends. I would return again.

We weren't expecting great wine from a flat field in NJ, but it was even worse than we could have imagined. Even Manischewitz is a fine vintage compared to these ultra-sweet, simplistic, vinification disasters. But the scenery is gorgeous, and the people are nice, but there are lots of flies. I also was both disgusted and impressed by their creation, the sangria dole-whip "beverage" that seems to be one of their best sellers. May you continue to lead and inspire winemakers worldwide long into the future!

One of our favorite lunch spots on our annual family Wildwood vacation. The grounds are gorgeous, the winery itself is enormous and inviting and they have plenty of outdoor seating as well. The menu has enough to satisfy any palate. Their wines are a mixed bag, the higher value wines are very good, and my wife and mother usually love the sangrias. My wife usually comes here to sample the Blackberry Merlot because when it's right it is her favorite drink. Sadly it's "hit or miss " I guess depending on the year. I'm usually a red wine guy, but I find the whites better here.

My bf and I planned a trip to Cape May last year for our anniversary and one of the places on our list to try was Willow Creek Winery. We visited right around sunset which was beautiful! There is indoor and outdoor space so you can kick back, relax and enjoy your wine. There is a gift shop when you first walk in and seating. Outside there was more seating and a live band. Shortly after being seated, we were greeted by our waitress. We started off with a wine flight, a glass of sangria and a glass of their Dole whip sangria float which is seasonal so ask your server for the flavor of the day! At the time of visit, the flavor was passion fruit. The wine flight came out on a tree; I loved the presentation. We also ordered some small bites. For starters, the asiago bruschetta which was okay. The French baguette was extremely hard to bite into but after it sat with all the juices from the tomatoes, olive oil, herbs, etc. it softened up a bit. I thought it was quite tasty. For our entrees we ordered the smash burger and fish sandwich. The fries were crispy, we just didn't like our food which is okay. I think next time we'll just stick to wine and starters. Once we finished up, we browsed the gift shop and headed back to the Airbnb. I will be back next time I visit!

Great reds, didn't try any whites. The female bar tender was awesome and very kind. Gorgeous atmosphere/venue for a wedding. Wines a delicious but a little pricey. We'll definitely be back again.

I’ve been here quite a few times, we had had exceptional service every time. It can be costly, but again you are paying for quality. The appetizers taste freshly made and they have a great wine selection to accommodate all. Not to mention, they make themselves stand out by adding dole whip with wine. Our server Julie was very attentive to us. Our orders were brought to us in a timely manner, it was a fantastic time. We will be back for our next visit.

Finally made it to Willow Creek and it was fantastic! Not really sure why the rating is anything below 4 stars. Beautifully kept vineyard, large, spacious buildings with plenty of outdoor seating and of course, delicious wine! Definitely recommend making a reservation in advance, but they take walk-ins as well, just can get crowded fast. Food menu is extensive for a winery and quality is high, definitely stop in if you're anywhere near Cape May!

I have been to this winery three times. It wasn’t until the third time that I realized they were ripping me off. When you get the bill it has a 4% charge added to the bill. It is to cover credit card charges if you pay by credit. This is legal, however I pay cash. The first two times I was there the waitress never took off the 4% charge. The third time I was looking to see how much the sales tax was and saw the extra fee. I questioned her and she told me it is to encourage cash payment. I said okay so you are going to take it off because I’m paying cash? She just looked at me like she didn’t know what to do. I again said I’m paying cash and then she said she would take it off which she did. That is when I realized that the previous two times when I didn’t question the charge it was not removed. I called and questioned the manager. He said it was in the register and they could not get it to not include the fee. He tried to get around the fact that the fee should only be added if the customer is paying by credit card. It is illegal to charge a cash paying customer this fee. I can only imagine how much extra money this business has skimmed off of cash paying customers. I am going to contact the state and inform them of this practice. The governor has passed law that restricts the amount of a fee for credit card use. It has to be the exact amount that the business is being charged and they can not charge cash customers. They have to have sufficient signage in the building so that people are aware of the fee. BEWARE IF YOU GO HERE AND PAY CASH.

very nice winery. the pulled pork sandwich was delicious. my wife had a chicken sandwich that she enjoyed. if you don't pay with cash, they add a fee around 4% for credit cards.

So I always like to start off specially will not leave a great review again this is my opinion and my experience, and even my families opinion experience based upon how things were so the reason for a two star review we found the wines there, especially the sangria‘s were absolutely disgusting and horrible Some of the other ones are pretty good and the others were absolutely disgusting in our opinion. What we did find really nice about the place. It was a beautiful winery the building where you go in for the tasting, was absolutely stunning. Without a doubt the staff and our waitress was absolutely phenomenal in every way the food that they offer was outstanding, hands-down, outstanding, but you don’t go to a winery for a tasting based upon the food you go based upon the wine and that’s the reason why I’m leaving a two star review and not a five stars because we felt the wine was absolutely horrible. Everything else was absolutely amazing. I would encourage people to try the winery for yourself again Everybody has a different taste,and opinion.

Beautiful aesthetics & super friendly staff. It was a very hot day and we got some icy drinks that went down so smooth I felt like I could’ve had 3! We didn’t have any food but enjoyed the beautiful scenery and live music. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I had the most amazing day at Willow Creek winery! The grounds, estate wine and charcuterie was incredible but the staff made it VERY special for our anniversary. Erin and Patricia were so sweet and accommodating and gave us service you truly don’t get everywhere! We can’t wait to get back to Willow Creek ❤️

This was a good experience with a good atmosphere. We got wine from sweet to butter but I did not like the bitter wine. The bitter wine made me throw up afterwards and I wanted to jump off a plane without a parachute. The middle one I did not like either and after spending so much time coming here it made me very sad and i thought about running into traffic. However the sweet wine was quite good as it made me not want to kill myself I finally enjoyed something in my life for once which is why I rated it so high so thank u for making this winery exist u guys saved my life. Goodbye and have a merry thanksgiving

The Jersey Peach Chicken salad was amazing!!! Our waitress Season was so helpful and very attentive. Make sure to try the sangria wine flights. Will definitely come back again!!

An unexpected surprise. Lots of great history to look at. You are able to sit and walk on/into a significant amount of vehicles and planes. The hanger is very large so it did not feel overcrowded. The admission was super reasonable and they do accept donations in addition to the admission. Kids loved it and the displays kept their attention for a very long time!! If you are in the area it is a pleasant surprise. Check out the diner next door as well and there is also the brewery right around the corner!!

We’ve bought tickets when arrived. Everything was fast. Then we watched short “orientation” video at the room with airplane seats and walked on premises surrounded by history, magazines, articles, photos, stories, planes, parts, costumes, etc. Even though I’m not usually the biggest fan of close to military stuff it was interesting trip.

I was pleasantly surprised by this self-guided museum. Love the fact that you’re able to sit inside some of the airships and explore inside others; it really puts into perspective how large these planes are. The museum is very well laid out and clean. Ample parking, and if you’re lucky, you get to park adjacent to one of the airships :) You move at your own pace, there are rooms with real footage of events and other rooms which include all sorts of WWII memorabilia, ammunition, vintage equipment, historical photos and so much more. If you’re a reader, I suggest you allot a few hours. Tickets are purchased at the gift shop. It’s a great hands on experience for curious minds, history buffs, and aviators! An awesome addition to our Cape May excursion, we will definitely visit again when in the area.

This museum is TOP NOTCH. You can go inside most planes and take pictures as if you’re a pilot in them. The facility was huge, we were there for about an hour and even as adults we had so much fun!! $14 admission for adults.

This is an amazing museum I would highly suggest to go to It has a lot of different airplanes from different errors and also has engine setup so that you could see their propulsion systems along with individuals that can explain things to you and teach if you are interested in learning about the planes here. They do a yearly plane show with authentic plans and you will actually see them flying in and flying out along with parking up with the other planes and you can go over and take a look It's a pretty cool thing to bring the kids out to or to even just go with your significant other I would highly suggest this

We chose the NAS Wildwood as our wedding venue in June 2023. I will fondly remember this experience forever. All our guests had the best time taking photos, walking around and learning and then dancing the night away. Austin was an absolute gem, he helped us incredibly and is so kind. He made our already fantastic evening so much better. Everyone that worked and helped us I appreciate so much. Thank you everyone at the NAS! I highly recommend for visits and all events!

Lovely museum of mostly WWII and Vietnam era aircraft. The amount of history the Cape May area had involving the wars and military is fascinating. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There are several crafts and vehicles you can get right into the front seat or cockpit, great photo op for kids.

This museum is truly one of the best to go to. They offer a rich history of aviation and have so many airplanes! They even let you climb in some of them! If you ever get the chance, you should absolutely check this out

This museum is laid out very well and there are many interactive pieces to bring you back in history. Very informative and fun for the whole family. The staff are pleasant and a pleasure to talk to and learn from. So happy we included this unique museum into our visit to Wildwood.

Great place to visit. We went on a rainy day. It is also more than just aviation, a lot of historical peices from that period. I would go back at least a couple more times. The Vietnam memorial is also worth visiting. It's small but nice to see. A lot of pictures and items from the war.

One of the best museums in the heart of Cape May County. .you'll find lots of Military Aviation history here..Staff is knowledgeable and friendly ....I always visit when in the area.....they also host many events throughout the year....

Neat find in Cape May area. They had many planes from old and new. Suggestion: don’t arrive at opening. When I got there (and until about 10:40am), they were just starting to clean up from the previous day. A guy was using a leaf blower to (very slowly) push all of the debris out of the hangar. At one point, I had to lift my feet as he pulled the long extension cord across the hangar.

Nice hidden gem. Highlights the story of WWII life in Cape May which you want to include the Fire Control tower as well. One of the view places I have been that allow you to climb into a fighter jet cockpit. Also try the Flight Deck diner across the parking lot. Good food at reasonable prices.

This monumental piece of history delivers an amazing and educational experience. The staff is super friendly, you can go into the cockpit of certain aircraft, overall it is a great experience. While there, stop by the flight deck diner.

A blast from the past indeed! This hangar museum has displays of super cool aircrafts and tons of naval history/ memorabilia from different eras. A real gem of Cape May and a must see next time you're around!

Very cool place to visit. So much history and amazing military memorabilia. All sorts of vehicles and planes. Hands on experience. Sit in a fighter jet and get up and close to the collection

If I could make this museum 10 stars I would. I am so impressed with what Dr. Salvatore was able to do along with his wife and supporters to create such an amazing space. I’ve gone three times in the last couple months and each time some thing chefs, and the displays are just amazing. I love the feeling that it’s an adult. Please touch museum where we’re actually allowed to in gauge with some of the displays, I like the Christmas in July event I run my own nonprofit, so I find the space very inspiring for next steps that I’d like to take in what our group is doing. It’s a great activity, if you’re a history buff, or looking to have an adventure with the kids, and teach them something about our history, or if you are an aviation or car enthusiast, this is a great place I love the 1940s room as well along with the love letters and stories of our soldiers from that time.. So overall a great great great way to spend some time they also have a good gift shop.

Great place to go on a rainy day or visit to learn about cape may history from WW1 and WW2 on plains and equipment used back then see it up close. It is like stepping back in time. Great education platform for kids to learn history. Try it you may like it.

Excellent information and beautiful estate. We had a large tour group of about 10-11 people and there was not enough space in all the rooms for us to fit. The last ones in saw nothing until on the way out and then we were rushed to the next room. We came to see the room, the furniture the artwork. It's all lovely. We can forgo some of the story to drink in the details. Please let people really see the rooms, allow time for people wander a bit in them, and have smaller tour groups so there is enough room for everyone.

Went here to check out the scavenger hunt which is free. It was fun roaming the estate and looking for things on the map. Place is well kept and inviting. Staff is friendly and courteous. I would have wanted to take the full tour if I had times will definitely do the tour the next time i am back. If you haven’t been here give this place a shot if you have a moment.

Beautiful old mansion, restored to perfection. The tours are great. Its especially beautiful decorated for Christmas!

For those who enjoy a walk back in history this is a very worthwhile experience. Hearing from the guide the story attached to this house that was saved from being torn down and then restored to its original beauty is so interesting. Worthwhile the entrance fee.

Last Saturday, our crew scheduled a dose of spooky history goodness to break up the winery-related debauchery of the weekend. The initial purchase included a tour of the estate (which, based on other reviews and a website description, was supposed to be about 45 minutes in duration), followed by a trolley tour of the historic areas of Cape May right around sundown. Unfortunately, the trolley part was cancelled I think about a day or so before we were set to go over there due to lack of conductor (driver? not sure what you call them) availability, so we had to settle for just the house tour. It wasn't terrible, but we definitely left feeling vaguely unsatisfied - the lack of the trolley loomed large. The atmosphere was top-notch. We coincidentally ended up over there during some gail/tornado warnings in the area, so the sky looked super ominous and actually opened up about 30 seconds after we left the building. We met up with the group outside on the porch, and the tour started shortly thereafter, breaking the pack up into two (about 10 people in each) so we could easily navigate around the first and second floors without too much congestion. The house itself is awesome. I grew up in homes that were built between 1770 and 1860, so I can appreciate the attention to detail and overall character that you just don't get from an 80s bi-level. I'm not an expert on Victorian architecture, but the interior of the house seemed very well-preserved and respected. Some of it looked a little stagey (I have trouble believing, for instance, that the original inhabitants carefully propped their Ouija board on a chair when they weren't using it) but I think that's pretty par for the course and not something I would take points off for. We were also fortunate that it was a little nippy (early April) so the lack of ventilation that you often encounter with these types of homes wasn't a factor. The tour guide was nice but seemed a little unprepared. For instance, at one point I believe in the context of a child passing away in the house, she mentioned that the specific percentage of infant mortality was high and then paused - she didn't remember the number and excused it by saying, "I haven't done this tour in a while," admitting that she hadn't given the tour since last year and couldn't remember all of her notes. Isn't that enough of a reason for a refresher prior to actually handling the tour? Beyond that, I wasn't crazy about the heavy emphasis placed on discussing a ghost hunter that the house hired to look around the premises a few years ago. Regardless of how strongly you believe or don't believe in the paranormal, I'd like to hear more confirmed facts about the history of the house and its inhabitants, not unfounded speculation from a guy who was paid to roam around and locate spirits. I wouldn't have minded just some anecdotal observations from him, but to devote almost half the tour to it seemed excessive. The tour itself literally lasted maybe 25 minutes, so I didn't feel like we really got our money's worth (about $15 or so, taking into account the trolley refund), especially since the only reason it technically expanded to 30 minutes was because the host opened the floor up to the group to share ghostly anecdotes. I wasn't anti the anecdotes - in fact, we were all enormously impressed by an adolescent girl who figured out a way to not only drag her dad and sister to Cape May for the sole purpose of ghost hunting, but also got them to get up in the middle of the night with some glowy cat ball things to perform some recon in her hotel ballroom - but I think they should have been a bonus add-on, not officially a way to bloat the tour to a still meager 30 minutes. In hindsight, I wouldn't recommend proceeding with the tour unless the trolley is involved, or the adolescent girl is hired as the guide. I feel like the most important fact I learned on the tour was that cat toys are used to hunt ghosts.

Wonderful experience. Tour guide was excellent and estate really gives you a feeling that another presence or energy spirit is there. It is a must visit if you have the time. Look for the ghostly Orbs in your photos when you are done. Book in advance.

Combined tour with historic trolley and it was exciting learning about the history of Cape May and its' inhabitants. Had a fun tour with our guide at the Physick estate. A Victorian house that shows the lives of the Physick family. Remodeled and decorated to make it into a museum for visitors. A relaxing tour if you don't know what to do for the afternoon.

Amazing winery with beautiful decor and outstanding service. Clayton who leads the tastings upstairs is very polite, friendly and funny. When you go back downstairs for a table, it’s first come, first serve without table service. So you must order and pick up your own food and drinks at the windows. Food was all tasty, but their lavender honey is delicious. Definitely recommend.

Small personal wine tasting presentation. We tried 6 different wines. Winery information was interesting. A good place to enjoy some local wine and the. After the presentation, if chosen, enjoy live music and tapas.

Clayton the consummate sommelier provided us with a fantastic and informative wine tasting experience. The staff were all so nice and attentive. It was definitely worth the drive. The tasting rooms and store front are all elegant and tastefully done. It’s a great place to sit and relax. We will be back

Last night, I drank Cape May red wine at Trishs restaurant, and today I came to Cape May winery to find out. For $20 a bottle of Cape May red wine, we tried lobster and crab meat mini burgers. It was delicious and cheap. Great music live, have a great weekend.

This place is absolutely gorgeous inside! We enjoyed a wine tasting with Clayton who was seriously the sweetest man ever & super knowledgeable about the wines. We played the wine game with him and really enjoyed ourselves. You're in for a treat if you get him for your tasting! I think the Pinot noir was my favorite. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside by the fire and enjoyed a charcuterie board with a delicious lavender honey. We also had the lobster slider which was so meaty with the perfect amount of butter. We stayed until sunset which a perfect to watch from the bridge or right out front of the winery. This will be one of my new favorite spots!

Enjoyed our 21st wedding anniversary with wine tasting class, tapas and live music. Beautiful winery and excellent wine and food. Val lead our wine tasting and was informative and engaging. Great job by the team in the kitchen. All our food was excllent. The Cab Franc was my favorite. We will be back.

Vegan options-the hummus had a great presentation and was really good. Enjoyed a flight outside on the covered area on a beautiful spring day. Loved the lighting fixture and water feature. The staff was really friendly.

Beautiful winery, inside and outside seating. Small menu for some tapas and cheese plates that pair well with any of the wine chosen. Sitting in the garden with great customer service was a great way to spend a day!

Came for the very reasonable wine tasting. Quickly fell in love with the rosé, the atmosphere, and the music. Ended up spending half of the day walking around and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I will absolutely be returning.

Beautiful winery in Cape May with both indoor and outdoor seating, a good selection off wines, and great food. They also have some sort cute merchandise in their shop. I would come back again if I was in the area.

Really cute winery in Cape May. Beautiful backyard patio in the summer with flowers and live music on weekends. It’s counter service so you find a table and then order your wine and tapas. Tuna poke tacos were very fresh and good. Lobster slider is also fresh and pretty good but needs a tad more flavor. They have indoor and outdoor seating, as well as wine tastings. Great ambiance, good wine and food.

Good food and nice selection of wines in a pristine setting. The outdoor seating area is filled with a rich array of flowers and plants, with a rainbow of umbrellas and a soothing welcoming fountain. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very welcoming too! Love this place! If you are in Cape May, you MUST give it a try!

Wine is good but not the most dog friendly establishment. Our dog was sitting on the outside furniture during our visit. Wasn’t a problem until 30 minutes before closing, seemed sorta a coup out to get us to leave. Also, shout out to the bus boy who reported us for having outside food when we had no idea it was a problem. Head over to Willow Creek if you are looking for a more relaxing environment.

We liked walking the Mall. My wife went into all the shops. We eat at at the lobster roll restaurant. For $5 more you get 50% more lobster. It was good! We miss the great lobster rolls at a great price. We wish we're there again. Enjoy them too!

We ended our ocean city vacation with capemay. Had a wonderful time. Love all the shops and had dinner at delanay's. Then went for a horse and carriage ride.

Soo many adorable shops and restaurants! And the church breathtaking! So happy we were able to walk around without big crowds! Can't wait to get back!

Every year we spend two weeks at the Jersey Shore. Ocean City. We always travel at least once to Cape May and spend time at the Washington Street Mall. Lots of different stores and restaurants centrally located. Very neatly laid out in one long street over 3-4 blocks. Surrounded by a park, other shops, Congress Hall, and not far from the beach.

Beautiful outdoor street mall. Plenty of small local stores to shop in. Very clean and nice and fun to spend the day in. Nice Sandy beach (you have to pay for a beach pass) within a minute of the mall. Overall, nice please to spend a day.

Lots to see. Lots of restaurants, cafes, and tons of shopping. Good place to walk around for hours. Very clean and well maintained. Gets pretty crowded in the afternoon and most of the restaurants have a 30 minute wait.

I really enjoyed Washington Street. It really gave me a beachy vacation vibe. It had a very nice collection of quaint shops of nice quality. We also enjoyed the food choices. I bought some salt water taffy that brought back childhood memories. For lunch we decided on Lobster rolls. They were delicious. We ordered them Connecticut style which was heated in butter. After a little more walking and shopping we treated ourselves to a Custard cone they were delicious too. I found a toy for myself at one of the shops a little surfer boomerang. I love it I played with him in the waves .

My bf and I had a great time walking around Washing Street Mall. I loved the different shops and snack options. I was able to grab memorable souvenirs for family and friends. And you're supporting local small businesses while you're at it. Parking was a bit difficult as we found a spot about a 15-20 minute walk from the mall. I was glad to find a Jersey Shore long sleeve to take with me back to North Jersey!

If you would like to keep your life don’t ever think about going here May-September, but if you want a nice stroll I definitely would suggest a dusk night fall walk through town.

High end outdoor mall, plenty of clothing stores, souvenir shops and food options to be had on this 3 block street. Place was clean, is designated a smoke free and pet free area, has a nice breeze through the complex and we felt very safe(despite the fact there was minimal visible law enforcement). An overrated ice cream shop was the only corporate based store we noticed, everything else was either individually owned or the owners had another store in Stone Harbor or Wildwood i.e. There is a store directory right in the middle of the mall, along with maps of Cape May and other points of interests also.

I’ve been coming to this mall since I was a kid and it’s always maintained it’s charisma- there are so many options for shops (clothing and food) and it’s always so clean and well taken care of! There are public restrooms which was super clean. Always worth the visit when visiting!

We enjoyed visiting the Washington Street Mall in Cape May. There are many cute quaint shops offering all kinds of merchandise, many diverse restaurants, and it's a pleasure to walk along the cobble stone streets while exploring the area.

Your classic beach town, New England esque town square. Plenty of stores and food options for everybody. Try out the horse drawn carriage, or trolley around town. You also have railroad pedal carts. Nice to see the different decorations for seasons, and you will definitely get in the spirit of whatever holiday it is. Quick walk down to the beachfront as well.

Just loved the Washington Street Mall in Cape May. There are many cute shops offering all kinds of merchandise, many diverse restaurants, and it's a pleasure to walk along the cobble stone streets while exploring the area. We will definitely be going back there soon!

A most delightful area to dine, shop and walk or stop for Cape May souvenirs, tees or sweat shirts just once. There are quite a few hidden jems here. Shhhhhh! You'll notice a lot more folks saying hello here.

My boyfriend and I traveled all the way up from Maryland to visit. We had such a blast learning about alpacas, feeding them carrots, taking photos, laughing, and observing! Tish made our experience extra special! We were amazed by all of the goodies in the gift shop. We were a little early to our appointment and Tish recommended we go just down the street to Two Black Dogs where we arguably ate one of the best meals we've had in our ~30 years of life. Tish was extremely knowledgeable and you can tell she LOVES her alpacas. If you want to have a great time, learn something new, support a small business, or just go meet another responsible pet owner- this is the place for you!

Kids had a great time. Our guide, Tish was excellent in making sure everyone was comfortable when allowing the alpacas in for our interaction. Up close and personal, lots of pictures!!

If you are looking for a fun excursion just outside of Cape May, check out Jersey Shore Alpacas. My visit to the farm was delightful. The adorable alpacas were friendly and approachable, and Jim was a great tour guide. Tish provided a lot of information about the farm and you can tell how much Tish & Jim love their alpaca family. The picturesque setting added to the charm, creating a memorable and educational experience for me.

This place is truly a Cape May gem! We scheduled a private tour and got the chance to get up close and personal with several of the adorable alpacas, feed them carrots, and even pet a few of them- they all have such unique and distinctive personalities! Tish could not have been kinder or more informative- she was so welcoming and shared a great deal of information about the alpacas. We learned a lot in addition to having fun! They also have a cute shop where we were able to buy some goods made from alpaca fleece after the tour. All in all, we highly recommend a visit here- thank you so much for making our trip a memorable one :)

It's an alpaca farm! Reserve online because they don't do drop ins. The owners are so friendly and nice! Once you get to the farm, when it's your slot time, you're given a bag of carrots for each person and Feed the Alpacas. The first group you'll feed are the females and learn about their traits and origins. The second are the males. It's amazing how the learning experience was, with it being hands on and maybe being able to pat their head. If there's a 3rd group, those might be the alpacas who are in time out. The guide who goes with you is very informative and helps you out if you want to feed a specific alpaca, because once they see the treats in hand, ALL of them with gather at that human. After the animal farm, there's a quaint gift shop where it's items made from their fur. Small to large items whether it's toys to clothing. Also they have a website, but select few items may not be online compared to in person. Depending on the make of the fur, it gets very soft with the high quality alpaca fur. It's a lovely experience to do and a very clean farm, as all the animals look healthy. I'd love to stop by again if I'm near Cape May !

Jersey Shore Alpacas I would highly recommend. The Christmas visiting is free but you need a reservation. There are limited spots. The workers/owners are just incredibly kind to the visitors. The boy/girl alpacas are in separate pens. You get to visit both. The handler guides you through the experience and it’s just an amazing thing to do! If you love alpacas this is just for you! There are other ways to book and visit throughout the year that can be purchased.

This farm is amazing! The alpacas are so interesting with their personalities. The experience is so well run with lots of time given to interact with the animals and ask questions. The store is full of great items too! Love this place and will be going back often!!! 🙂

My best friend and I booked a tour as part of a weekend getaway. Tish was wonderful, so incredibly knowledgeable and happy to share info, friendly and fun. The alpacas were very obviously well taken care of and SO much fun to interact with! Highly recommend! Don’t forget to stop in their shop afterwards they have fantastic products to choose from!

Tish and Jim were so lovely and informative during this tour. I can tell they really adore their alpacas and I loved knowing their story. We really liked the gentle alpaca named Sebastian so we named our souvenir from the gift shop after him. It was definitely a highlight of our trip and I will be recommending to my friends!

Amazing time here! My husband and I made reservations about six weeks ago and are glad we did bc this place books up quick! Tish was so nice and shared so many details with us about the history of the herd and how they brought them in their home during hurricane irene. We loved meeting all of the alpacas and petting them and feeding them! A very nice one hour tour. She even took some pictures of us. Would love to come back to visit again! Thank you Tish!

Our family highly recommends visiting this Alpaca family farm. The alpacas have a very nice life here. We enjoyed our time that we spent here at this farm. Their alpacas are very sweet and friendly. This is great places owned by a couple! It was very nice to learn about alpacas. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Jim was great at explaining different traits of all the alpacas they have and he gave a great tour. Tish gave us a lot of information about their store and products and was very helpful. They really love what they do and hence their enthusiasm makes you love the place! The farm is very clean and kept very well. The alpacas are very cute and it's lovely to feed them carrots for free!

From beginning to end, this was the best experience!!! It was so easy to book online, and I surprise my fiancé with a date to go see the alpacas. The owners are very knowledgeable and so kind and we got to feed and take pictures with all of the alpacas, while learning about each of them. I completely recommend this experience , it’s a must!!!!

My husband and I visited the Jersey shore alpacas today. We had a great time. The crew.(Alpacas) were super sweet and friendly. The farm and alpacas are very clean and well cared for. We had so much fun meeting the alpacas and feeding them! Jim was a great host; teaching us about alpacas, explaining the personalities and nuances of each of their alpaca, and taking time to answer our questions. Tish was so friendly in showing the items in the store and helping us find items that we were interested in. What a wonderful experience! Our family had a great time and learned so many fun facts about alpacas from Trish! Historic village open to the public all year long. Special events throughout the year. All of the older structures on site have been brought to the village to display. Some buildings of note are the country store, school house, the inn and the blacksmith shop. Ask for Levy, he’s a good ole horse that takes happy visitors around the village in a cute carriage. Great place to explore, have fun and get historical vibes.

We enjoyed the wassail event they hosted!! Great to go with your kids for a few hours and a little bit of history. We enjoyed the horse drawn carriage ride through the village. Cold springs brewery is also a treat any day!! Keep to the great work everyone!!

A blast from the past! Everyone here is dressed up in period costumes and will show you how they did traditional things like print books or make pottery. There are food places, stores and games to play. There are also farm animals. Older kids all the way to adults would love a chance to explore the historical re-enactments here. A literal village!

Historic Cold Spring Village This historic place is very interesting because the administration of the city of Cape May removed 18 houses from their original places with different representations such as a grocery store, bakery, ceramics, school, police station, carpentry shop, bars, among others, and placed them all within a historic center that it is open to visits. The city's care in preserving its history is very honorable. Congratulations

Had my wedding here. It was beautiful, but the old grumpy man next door crashed the reception and screamed in my face as well as my husband’s. My memories of a great day are completely tainted by this man and I hope he is happy with himself. Apparently contracts don’t matter and they take five months to clear checks. Don’t recommend for your big day.

The hands down BEST beers in the area - blows other local breweries out of the water in terms of tastiness of beers. Also had a small but great food menu, which is always a plus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Everyone we encountered were very friendly and informative about the buildings and activities that went on during the time period. The kids had a great time running from house to house discovering new things. The ice cream and bakery were nice places to take a break and have a treat. Loved the general store too with souvenirs and handmade pieces from the volunteers that craft there.

So cute and adorable place to visit! Went there with my boyfriend today and it was lovely. I loved how into detail and accurate everything was at this place. I didn’t have a chance to go to the brewery, though, I wouldn’t change anything about todays visit! It’s amazing how much history is preserved here. I will definitely have to go back one day to check out everything else. I also was able to purchase an adorable basket that was handmade there by one of the girls who used to work there. Can’t wait to use it for one of my future picnics. You can use credit cards or cash to purchase anything there.

Loved this historical village. To get the most of the experience talk to the tradesmen and women. Don't forget to stop at the general store, they sell lots of vintage products, candies you haven't seen in a long time. Big bonus, they sell the products made the previous day by the tradespeople. Very cool. Handmade note books, handmade tools, pottery, etc.

Buy the family pass at the beginning of the season if you live anywhere close and have kids. They have so many themed weekends. My kids' favorite 2 weekends are Seafarers (pirate) weekend and Hands-on History weekend. (Pics from today's Seafarers)

I called to ask about tours and what was open November 2023. Someone named Pat left a voice mail, which I have a transcript of, that was exasperated and very rude. She must not have known that my voicemail was recording. Pat was saying things like 'C'mon Lady' and there was a male voice also speaking. I called Pat and confronted her about the voicemail. She took no responsibility for her behavior. Personally, I think all funding should be removed from this historic village until they can find someone more professional and someone that is more appreciative of customers. That's bad business folks!

Easy climb. Completely restored and well maintained. Very knowledgable staff! Lots of historical information. Beautiful views from the top. Cost effective to buy the combo pass with Cape May Lighthouse. Also be sure to check out Sunset Beach and the SS Atlanus shipwreck just down the road. Schedule varies be sure to check hours the tower us open.

WWII lookout tower. Short climb. Guide and information inside tell about an interesting piece of history.

Really cool piece of American history. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children if you are interested in going to the top of the observation tower. Lots of informative signs, books, and pamphlets available. Parking along side of road. Nearby shops, beach, food, and other sights to see.

Very cool historical place to visit. The man in the top of the tower was very informative and shared great pieces of information pertaining to the history of the tower.

Worth a visit if you’re into history at all. $8 for an adult to climb 102 steps to the top. Bits of history sprinkled along the way. The two men working were knowledgeable and friendly. Great views of the beach and ferry landing from above.

Nice historic place. Cloudy and windy day so I decided to pass and come on a better weather day.

Historical pictures and facts. They even share some stories. Not as many stairs as it looks and inside isn't really cramped. Nice break from beach while still seeing it and able to go back after.

Local Tower was a great historical stop in our time in Cape May. History stops on every flight climbing up the tower and when you reach the top there's a local historian who knows tons of information on area in the history of the Tower. Definitely learned a lot of information and then view from atop the Tower is quite beautiful.

It was a fun experience if you like world war stuff. It was also a great way to honor the veterans. Also I like the experience of going inside a ww2 lookout tower. It has a lot of stairs to get to the top if you don’t like stairs or heights this might not be the one for you but you should def try it. The parking is just on the side of the street and you have to pay 8$ to get inside.

This place is awesome - much less terrifying than the Lighthouse. The two guys staffed there at the time were amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly. I can't tell for sure how many steps there were because I was slightly panicking, but I'd guess fewer than half of Cape May Lighthouse, and they are much wider and more even than those at the Lighthouse. Also much roomier, less claustrophobic than the Lighthouse. The view from the top is fantastic. You can see a little Lighthouse out on the horizon through the telescope & there is a very clear view of the USS Atlantus. There's a huge parking lot (free) directly across the street. Definitely visit if you're in the area.

Dear Cape May Stage Committee, I just read the Covid-19 vaccination policy. I see all patrons who want to see a play must be vaccinated. What is the accommodation for natural immunity, medical and religious exemptions for those not vaccinated? My husband and I love seeing plays at the Cape May Stage. Unless there is accommodation otherwise, this will be the first year, 2022, we will not be able to attend due to this new policy. Can someone please respond and let us know if there is accommodation for equity and inclusion for everyone? Thank you for understanding I posted a review here with my question since the Cape May Stage Committee after many days has still yet to answer this question.

Cape May Stage is a small, very professional theater with a wonderful Home town feel, my family and I just love it!! Director Roy and his staff are all awesome and helpful, many of them volunteers. All the actors are fantastic! We live locally and are very fortunate to be able to attend often, but if you're Vacationing in or around the Cape May area, do yourself a favor and get your tickets for the Cape May Stage!

Great show, actors were awesome, and great service at the box office. Highly recommended for an activity to do when in Cape May. While there have dinner next door at 410 Bank Street.

The show, Shirley Valentine, was wonderfully entertaining. Many of the actor's lines resonated real life and were hilarious. We both left at the end of the performance happy. Can't wait for the next show.

We experienced a great performance of Art last night at Cape May Stage. The actors were both thought provoking and hilarious in their banter over the "white" painting. Definitely worth seeing while in Cape May.

This terrific 120 seat, state-of-the-art theater brings Broadway quality performances to the Cape at astoundingly affordable prices. We saw ART, an expertly directed and thought-provoking work brought to life by three marvelous actors. This was truly a theatrical treat!

A great theater company located in the center of town. Different productions throughout the year. A wonderful way to spend an evening in the oldest seashore resort!

Superb Neil Simon show and great acting...intimate historic setting...a MUST for any theater lovers visiting Cape May

A most enjoyable evening. This one women show is "right on the money" for many. I recommend it to all. Light hearted BUT makes food for thought for men and women. McClain had a marvelous performance.

My wife and I totally enjoyed the play Art last night at Cape May Stage last night . The venue is intimate with great acoustics and every seat with a good view. One caution when reserving seats... you can't exit to the center aisle.

Two excellent actors-the humor ,the positive vibes and the story was well presented. It was a memorable experience! Thank you to the Cape May theatre team also. Very welcoming staff too!

During our first visit to Cape May, we saw Ken Levine’s “America’s Sexiest Couple.” It was about as professional a production as we’ve seen in our years of theatre going. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s just no bad seat - the rows all have a perfect view of the stage. Just a great venue to see great theatre when you’re in this gorgeous town.

As with every performance I have seen at Cape May Stage, A Tuna Christmas did not disappoint! It was so much fun and well done in every aspect. Our Cape May community is quite fortunate to have such a wonderful theater company in its midst.

Saw my 1st show tonight called, “A Tuna Christmas.” It was soooo good!!! The acting was very enjoyable. The theatre was uniquely quaint. Will return when we come to Cape May again.

My wife and I went to see “A Tuna Christmas” at Cape May Stage and it was great! It’s a two person play that was funny and the two actors played 20+ characters between them.

Seeing this play in Cape May with my friends was an incredible experience! We laughed all the way through the 90 minute production, and at the same time we were tremendously impressed with the professional level talent of the actors. These 3 men are amazingly gifted and experienced in their craft, as are the playwright and director. The stage crew was impressive as well! I couldn't possibly recommend "Art" more highly. We were spellbound and are still laughing today! What an incredible gift.

Pack a pair of walking shoes. Excellent local resource for those interested in education and the arts, with both indoor and outdoor attractions. It faces Cape May Harbor, *near the USCG Station, and the Fishermen's Memorial is 2 blocks to the west, so bring a windbreaker or sweatshirt.

It's a great place to go with kids. Small nature walk, auxiliary garage with fish tanks and touchable sea artifacts. The main building has a kitchen area for kids to play, a 2nd floor wrap around deck, and a third teir lookout deck. There are tanks with reptiles and 2 chinchillas, and puzzles for kids. We always take a trip with our kids here while we are in Cape May!

Enjoyed seeing the exhibits, especially the chinchillas and the video about Monarch butterflies. Also enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders fron the bird blind and the trails. Nice setup!

This was a stop on our rail bike ride, very beautiful place, glad to hear they are trying to bring back the monarch butterfly.

Bring your walking shoes. Excellent resource for the area for the education and arts fans, with both indoor and outdoor sights to see. Be sure to pack a windbreaker or sweatshirt as it faces Cape May Harbor *adjacent to USCG Station and the Fishermen's Memorial is 2 block walk west.

The ladies who run it were very friendly and knowledgeable. Cute little hands on exhibits. Shells and bones and skins to touch. Live turtles and such. Live octopus!

Great place to take the kids to on nonbeach day. A lot to learn and friendly and helpful staff. There is a little aquatic lab in the back with crabs, fish and horseshoe crabs and various other marine fossils.

Not open in the winter. Despite what it says on google. Could not find anything on Facebook indicating as much, although maybe I did not scroll back far enough. Only reviewing in hopes that I can save another parent the drive haha.

Even if you only have 15-minutes, it is worth visiting the nature center. There are picnic tables if you are looking for a place to enjoy lunch that you picked up at Wawa on the way. The gift shop has many nice items for sale.

Cape May is on the route of monarch butterflies migrating to Mexico each fall. Since they are endangered, the Nature Center works with several organizations to electronically tag the monarchs and track them. We saw a fascinating demonstration of one monarch being tagged and released.

We just had an awesome experience with the Nature Center of Cape May! A guided tour (physical distancing and masks, with our friends) and history and background of Beach Plums. Wow. Gretchen Whitman led the group tour that we bid on and won at the Nature Center's Catch of Cape May 2020 (virtual) fundraiser. Incredible morning. A brief history and background on beach plums (who knew these little gems were so special!), then a hike into the dunes to see wild beach plums and pick some for our use later. Since this is apparently not a good year for wild beach plums, Ms. Whitman arranged for a visit to a cultivated beach plum orchard so we could see them in a bountiful state. Great experience - recipes, samples of beach plum products, history of the fruit, cultivation efforts, and a hike to see these precious plants in the wild. Thanks Gretchen and we cannot wait for things to settle down so we can take part in more of the Nature Center of Cape May's offerings!!!

Nice pleasant little nature center. It's free and good for some quick and educational activities for your kids when you need a break from the main beach. They have a nice lookout post that allows you to see the whole conservatory. They even provide binoculars.

This is my third cruise... dolphin, lighthouse, and sunset.. love it and will return. Our sunset cruise was pre hurricane Ida and a storm did roll in which actually made it even more fun and exciting (maybe not for first timers). We had to return a bit early for safety reasons... but WHO CARES . It was great! And they gave vouchers if interested in a return visit.. Pizza and hot dogs... full cash bar. Additional food is provided on the lighthouse cruise. I'll be returning in the fall for the whale watch. Oh I forgot YES... there were plenty of dolphins!!

Everything was great except for the fact that I saw almost no dolphins. All we saw for the first 1hr 50minutes were waves. At the last 10 minutes we were losing hope when we saw a few dolphins, which is why we turned back. Don’t go unless you have very good eyesight and are willing to keep your eyes wide open. And btw, we were 40 minutes late to arrive back.

I had reservations for a dinner cruise and they canceled it because they say they have no staff. How much staff do you have to have for a buffet. How many other people are disappointing. It's such a shame that no one wants to work. Yes I'm upset but talking to the staff there is nothing they can do to get more help, but pay more money. If I lived in that area I would love to work there. I hope one day if I want to do the dinner cruise again that it actually happens.

We saw lots of dolphins on the trip and even a few young calves! This was the only boat tour that I've ever taken that provided complimentary snacks! Great for all ages.

We did the dinner cruise the food was good and the staff was friendly. The sunset was beautiful and we saw dolphins.

Very good sit down dinner on the sunset dinner cruise ,plenty of good food, beef, chicken, pasta, nicely done, then you get a tour of bay and if your lucky like we were some awesome dolphins.The captain does great job of putting you close to see the dolphins, and explaining facts and history of area thanks for a great trip, we will definetly be back.

Inside of the boat is very very very dirty and they didn't not enforce face covering in fact a drunk persons sneezed his lungs out no mask on his face and his 2 other friends... and captain was complaining about reduced capacity....

Small, short paths- quiet place to walk or run around. The number of birds were limited. I’d recommend adding some more. Ya know, get some diversity in there. A snack stand would be nice. I think this crowd would be into avocado toast or a caramel pumpkin oat latte. But then I’d also worry about the environmental impact by such amenities. Regardless of all that- it’s a fun place. I went on a holiday some I’m not clear if you have to pay to get in? I also entered from the beach side so maybe I snuck in illegally. If that’s the case, please let me know and I’ll Venmo you some money.

I love going for walks here, a lot of different trails for however far or short u want to go!

A peaceful place to explore in all seasons! I was here for the first time late winter. We then came in late spring, then in summer. Each time we saw different flora and fauna. It was truly amazing how different it would look each time. We are looking forward to see what the fall will bring.

Beautiful nature preserve. Highly recommend the viewing platform and bird blind for excellent views of shorebirds. The trails are a nice loop to the beach and back with a connection to Cape May Point State Natural Area. Trails are very well maintained.

My favorite spot for birding in Cape May. Beautiful ecosystems, well-maintained trails, and the opportunity to see all kinds of wildlife and plants. There’s a connector trail to the state park, or you can do the loop trail around the wetlands. At the front there’s nice interpretive signage, and often a whiteboard with yesterdays bird sightings posted (sourced from e-bird). We’ve taken our young child there and had a great time exploring, and gone our own to take our time and see some incredible migratory birds.

Went here tonight to take my dogs for a walk very nice place quiet had a lot of fun a couple different trails places to sit and eat

Lively little stroll around a wildlife area. Lots of poison ivy along trail...but nice sanctuary for wildlife. Saw many birds, turtles, flowers.

Loved it. Tranquil, gorgeous, clearly marked paths. We saw ospreys, terns, ducks, and one more endangered bird species. Mad respect for the people who preserve this place. It's sad that this is one of the last places unique species can habituate. Down with Cape May development!

My favorite hiking and birding spot around the shore of NJ. The fall migration is having its peak now. Millions of birds are moving during this time. We saw a lot of songbirds and blooming flowers around the meadow.

What a beautiful little quaint place. I pulled up to an empty parking lot and as soon as I opened my door, I could hear the birds chirping, as I walked closer to the entrance I saw blooms of pretty wildflowers with colorful butterflies fluttering around ! Entering into the sanctuary, a warm smile came over my face to see a momma rabbit with her baby happily grazing off the grass, neither seemed to be spooked by my presence. Directly infront of me was a wooden bench chair beckoning me to come and sit down. It was surrounded by beautiful vines and flowers. that allowed me to soak in the tranquility that came with it. Below my feet was a short little path of seashells ( !! )...leading to a long open path full of flora and fauna to the oceans beach. What a beautiful little place to take a quick breather from the world. It's not very big but it's a great little place to take a pause for a moment of peace & tranquilty ! 3 stars only because I wanted more to see! It was small.

Thank you to the Cape May fire department and its crew for responding to wires down on our porch rooftop with sparks and small flame. Neighbors called ot in and the firemen were excellent! They assessed the situation, asked us to leave the building and kept us informed. We were renting a condo while on vacation when on the last night this happened. When they told us it was unsafe to return inside, they took my husband upstairs to pack our belongings and pack our car. Several firemen helped us all during a pouring rainstorm Friday night. We greatly appreciated their professionalism and kindness to us.

“A pleasant surprise” Strolling down Washington Street on the corner of Franklin St. you will normally find a pleasant surprise -- a cosmetically restored vintage American La France fire engine bedecked in bright red and genuine gold leaf. I say, normally, because of this writing the engine is in Hanvover PA undergoing a complete mechanical restoration to make it fully operational.

Neat little museum that shows what the old time fire station looked like. Very nice to incorporate the history of the station in contrast to the modern fire trucks.

Paramedics from this station arrived promptly after calling 911 when my 8 month old daughter began to have distress breathing. They calmed me down- took her vitals- and gave her the green light. It was terrifying- they were awesome. Thank you!!

Very rude to fellow first responders. Unwilling to cooperate and acted like they were better than everyone else. At least the members we had contact with were rude. I hope they aren’t all like that.

A little farm on a sweet couple’s property. We got to feed the alpacas carrots!!!! Best experience of my trip to Cape May. I’ve recommended this to every person who has said they’re going to Cape May since. Coolest animals ever.

Beautiful farm. The alpacas were so sweet. Sadly when we went in the store, the owner was quite rude to me and my children. This was surprising given the other reviews state that the owners are friendly, so I’m not sure if we caught her on a bad day. I can only give 3 stars given that our stop in the store and interaction with the owner truly soured the experience.

Love love this farm. By far one of my favorite places! On Sundays and Saturdays it is free to go up to the llamas pens. For a donation you can also get a baggie of carrots to feed them. The females get a bit aggressive with them though.

Wonderful owners. There are a lot of alpacas of all different colors. The owner will give you carrots to feed them if you ask. There is also a nice little shop with interesting items.

The first time I visited Cape May I was advised to visit this place. I've returned almost every time since. There are alpacas in a meadow area at the entrance to the property and there is a gift shop by the home. The family is always very friendly and make my visits feel appreciated.
