We had a wonderful experience at the museum! Quite a lot to see and do! We enjoyed the Charles W Morgan boat, the blacksmith shop (the gentleman in there was awesome. Very informative!), the cord building, and the boat tour. All the staff we interacted with was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this for families. We saw people of all ages enjoying the exhibits.

I did not expect to have such a wonderful time at this place. Staff is very friendly, and they are actively working in the houses throughout the village. You can see ships being maintained, food being cooked, coast guard personnel learning blacksmith techniques, and more. There are plenty of exhibits for kids to include an area to have them build a Toy Ship, a planetarium, a kids museum, playground, and acres to run around and be loud. For adults there are ships to board, curated museums full of history and much more. After you pay your ticket fee you have 19 acres and 40 buildings to explore, to include a gift shop, restaurant, and plenty of public restrooms available. There is a north and south entrance, each with plenty of parking available for free. This is the best thing I've done in area, and would gladly come back!

Amazing place. Spent a whole day there with our 3 kids. Great exhibitions, fun on ships. Educational and fun workshops all around.

I recommend buying tickets online to avoid any waiting. Also, combining Mystic Aquarium with Mystic Seaport museum and village is cheaper than buying tickets separately. It's a very interesting place, where you could easily spend at least 3 hours. There is a LOT to see - you can visit any house in the village and see how they lived and worked, talk to the people who demonstrate different types of work that was done in the village (making huge ropes, boats, medicines, watches and clocks, etc). I liked the whaling museum! I loved how they told us about printing! The lighthouse inside had a movie, telling a story of lighthouses in America. And much much more... Definitely recommend to visit! Great place for families with kids!

What a wonderful museum. Stopped here by chance when driving by and couldn’t be happier. The town is amazingly cute and the museum is easily the best I’ve ever seen. Just down the road a bit from mystic seaport and the whaling ships this place is a must see. Clean and expansive with incredible artwork and artifacts. It includes four full whale skeletons (including sadly a baby) and a plethora of whaling artifacts. The piece de resistance for this museum the scrimshaw room. I’m a fan and fairly knowledgeable and have seen what I suspected was the largest collection in the world this is even bigger. It has to be the largest single collection in the world. Just the accessories made of whale bone were extensive but there was an endless number of incredible scrimshaw teeth by all of the best known artists of the whaling period. You will never see such a collection anywhere else in the world and at the value these fetch there will never be a bigger collection built. If you are in cape cod area and have an interest in healing bring your family here. Even at a fast pace this place has hours of enjoyment for everyone.

100% worth the trip! When going to the museum, I wasn’t sure what to expect. This museum is sprawled out on about 19 acres and over 20 something or 30 I don’t know buildings. It is massive! A very cool experience, and great for the whole family! Staff was amazing

It’s a great place to learn lots of history. Well preserved museum town. Initially I thought I wasted spending for this place. But as I enter each museum rooms, it was very interesting. Great way to learn about the past of a port town. Lovely demonstration by the volunteers in each stall. Worth the visit. Needs at least 4 hrs to cover. Easily you can spend whole day.

Mystic Seaport Museum is a great place to visit. Very historical and very educational. Lots of good preserved old ships and buildings. For sure you can taste pure history. Free parking lot on the side, adult admission about 25$. Restaurant and gift shop. Highly recommended

We absolutely loved everything about this wonderful museum within museum. So many fascinating little sea cottages, each telling their own story. A few little nosh places, opportunities for boat rides on the Bay, a make your own wooden boat bungalow, so much to learn and see! Make sure to give it all day! And you can come back within the next 7 days with your receipt!!!

Great place to spend an afternoon. I really enjoyed the extras that change with the days. We saw a fish cleaning demo and it was really interesting. The big band live music the day we visited really drew a crowd of locals. Bringing your own chairs is a good idea if you're coming for the music. Lots to see all in one visit, I can see why the tickets are valid for two days. If you come on a nice day, you can take row boats out and for a small extra fee get a ride on an old ship. But go book that right away or it will be filled up.

This is a really neat seaport to check out, just make sure to give yourself plenty of time to walk around, there's a lot to see! I enjoyed the way they laid it out and how you can walk around at your own pace to the various buildings and museums. The exhibits themselves are also set up really well to tell you a story as you walk through. Very well done. My only issue was that besides the staff you see when you buy tickets to get in, there were no other staff walking around or in any of the museums. So if you had any questions or wanted to know more, you were on your own. I'm not sure if that changes once tourist season starts, but it was the biggest thing I noticed. There were also a few exhibits that were closed when I went.

Mystic Seaport Museum is a snapshot of a moment in time, a look back at the era of whaling, and a reality check of just how recently that era faded into the past. The historic buildings are beautiful. The amount of care that went into that architecture is wild. Most of the buildings are authentically from the 1800s, including some that have been moved onto the grounds from other locations in the northeast. The result is stepping into a time capsule of the heyday of the whaling era. The "Museum" is active and alive, with regular demonstrations of things like their mid-1800s blacksmithing shop, their original printing press, and even demonstrations of things like rope making. The volunteers are well-informed, friendly, and happy to teach you something new. Make sure you check out the daily calendar to find out what demonstrations will be going on that day. I do wish they had printouts of the day's schedule instead of just telling you to take a picture of the sign. (Tip: Make sure you favorite that picture before it gets buried in your pictures of the museum!) The whaling ship is gorgeous, truly a special piece of history. The lower deck still kind of smells... Like whale guts. Ninety years of whale guts. I can't imagine having been on that ship when it was in use. Make sure you stop to read the signs explaining things, you'll learn a lot. The firefighting boat was closed inside when we went, but it was still really cool to look at from the outside. Most of your museum day will have you walking around outside, going from building to building with minimal shade. Make sure you wear sunscreen, bring plenty of water, and plan on a very active day. There is a cafe, but it's at the far end of the grounds and not exactly intuitive to get to early-on in your day unless you skip past a bunch of stuff and double back. That said, I do have a few caveats for visitors with different accessibility needs, including people who use mobility devices like wheelchairs or canes, people who tire quickly (including the elderly or small kids), and parents with strollers. 1, It's a LOT of ground to cover. It's really spread out. Be prepared for a lot of movement or plan on spending two days if you want to see everything. 2, They've done their best to adapt some of the buildings to be accessible, but most of the buildings (and ships) date to the 1800s and there's only so much they can adapt a lot of that architecture. So a lot of things, like the whaling ship (arguably the main attraction) remain inaccessible to wheelchairs, walkers, & strollers. As it is, I was only just barely able to navigate some of the staircases with my cane. 3, Use the bathrooms when you come across them. They're spaced out weirdly and not the easiest to find when you're looking for them. 4, The entrance is nowhere near the exit. It doesn't matter whether you park by the entrance or the exit, expect a long trip at one end of your day. We parked by the entrance. In retrospect, we should have parked by the exit. Still, overall it's definitely worth checking out and there's definitely a lot of things to fill your day with!

There's so much to see here! Dress for the cold if you need to, because there's a lot to explore outside. You can easily spend many hours, or even a couple of days here, so give yourself some time to visit properly. The staff seem happy and are clearly enthusiastic about the museum and whatever area they specialize in. Exhibits include salvage and restoration projects, living history demonstrations, art and science, etc. There is some food services available inside, but I didn't stop at any. Holiday decor is classy and gave me ideas for my own historic home.

Great working shipyard. The tour is a must. Very interesting and informative. So much history in this outdoor museum. Beautiful old ships and interesting seeing ships being restored.

This is an amazing museum to experience first hand the great New England shipbuilding traditions in its authentic and historic context. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed spending several hours walking through the grounds and the shipyard. The Charles W Morgan was a wonderful wooden whaler ship. It was great that they let you walk up and go inside the LA Dutton that they are refurbishing. There is a lot of history in this area. We loved it!

The museum is located on a beautiful piece of land. I'm surprised they open up at 10 am, especially during the summertime. My daughter and I had a wonderful time. I recommend offering a 21 and over hours only event, maybe once a month. Many individuals who were at the museum didn't seem like they enjoyed the sound of kids laughing and having fun.

The Seaport is awesome! We have been coming here since we were kids in the early 60's. There is always so much to see and do. It is a wonderful experience.

We stopped here randomly on a road trip. It is a beautiful town, it wasn't their peek season but definitely worth seeing!

Went to the Mystic Aquarium and had a wonderful visit. Very educational and many interesting sea creatures to view and learn about. Many exhibits one can touch the animals, the visiting children were all ecstatic while learning about ocean life and conservation. A big shout out to the food prep there, I had a BLT that was really amazing! I highly recommend a trip to the Aquarium, quite fun.

We went for out first time as a family & it was worth the drive. Once you walk in, they take your photo, for later you can order a keep safe memory. The seal show was so cute, you're able to see the penguins swim through out the water. You'll see fishes,turtles, sharks, you can touch stingrays. They have an area for the smaller kids to play, you can have a boat race. Definitely a fun family day that the kids will enjoy. Also they have a lot of parking ! And a gift shop.

Had a super fun time at the aquarium! So many different animals and the staff was so attentive and kind, always coming up to us and explaining information about the animals. Seriously super cool and definitely a must see if in the area! Pro-tip buy tickets days or weeks in advance!! They’re always more expensive day of.

It's an ideal destination for families, friends, and solo adventurers alike. I had a memorable and enjoyable time at Mystic Aquarium, and I can't wait to visit again!

What a wonderful treat to see and experience! Excellent viewing above and below water. California Sea Lion show was quite amusing. Nice, contained space but not too small making you want more.

Spent a nice Friday here with my daughter. They had a dinosaur exhibit that was free that day so we got to explore that which I'll say was awesome, so many interactive games for kids and a playground inside. If it wasn't free that day we wouldn't have spent the extra to experience it however it made it such a unique visit (after I've been there about 4x now) so I'm glad it was an option and I'll likely think twice next time about spending the extra. It's a beautiful aquarium and we really had a great time. Food options are nice there too. Staff is all nice.

It was spring break week, so a lot of families. First time visit and love the attractions of sea life. Staff was attentive and willing to answer questions. Unfortunately, I only had a few hours there, but I enjoyed our time immensly.

We went on a rainy day and it was amazing. We saw all the animals and my kids had a blast. The staff is friendly, kind and accommodating. The animals are all very happy. My sons really enjoyed the sea lion show. Can’t wait to go back.

A very nice aquarium, with amazing beluga whales, sea lions and penguins all outdoor,as well as the indoor aquarium. Disappointing that for the steep price, the virtual reality experience, as well as the dinosaur exhibit has additional expensive prices. Mostly helpful and friendly staff. Could have been a more information to when show and feeding times are.

A smaller aquarium but fun for all ages. A normal visit will be about one to two hours depending on what you want to see. Everything is nicely organized and usually not over crowded. It's a great time for the family if they have an interest in aquatic life, with plenty of exhibits and interactive ones.

Went here for a day trip and it was fantastic. The exhibits are wonderful and great for people of all ages. The aquarium was clean and the staff was friendly. All of the staff was so nice and genuinely seemed like they enjoyed their jobs. The staff was knowledgeable and great with younger kiddos. We arrived early which was good because the parking lot is fairly small for how high the demand is. It was $44 per person but you can spend all day there. The jellyfish and the touch tanks were the best in my opinion. Overall, we really enjoyed our trip and will be back in the future.

Oh my goodness! This is the best aquarium I've been in my life so far! I've been to a lot of aquarium Sea World in Australia and Florida and many places in USA this is by far the best so far I've been! It's an hour drive for us but is worth it! We watched 4D theatres twice inside Dino Seas which is seasonal from Florida we have to pay extra! We came to mystic for free for me and my 3 kids under the Ct summer museum program for residents! We watched sea lions show indoor arena! We will have to find Africa penguins later! There's so much to do here! It's amazing!

Amazing. Lots for the kids to do and fun as a grown up too. The California Seals show was great, but so were all of the other features of the aquarium. There's a lot to do outdoors there too.

My first time at this aquarium, and it was amazing how they had plenty of rental wheelchairs, and most tanks were easily viewed from that level. It was a lot of walking, and I have a number of injuries still healing. I was grateful for the option of using the wheelchair like a walker or sitting and being pushed when needed. We LOVED the mermaid exhibit! My only comment would be that I ended up waiting in line twice because the woman sending people to wait at various windows sent my brother and I (our group) and then asked if it was okay if another group joined. I said I had waited half an hour to have the experience and to get a picture. She added three kids to our window anyway and the mermaid didn’t interact with my brother and I at all, just the kids. We got no picture and had to go back in line for another one. Adults like mermaids too!!! By the time we got in like the second time I did get to interact with the mermaid but not a good picture because my brother had given up and was sitting across the way. I was just disappointed is all. He came all the way from NY for this. We were so excited, and we just wanted to be treated like equals with the kids, in terms of wanting the experience.

Took my toddler and 7&9 year old niece and nephew there with my sister in law last Saturday. We had a great time. We walked around the tanks for an hour and then saw the sea lion show. It was a great activity to do to get out of the house in the winter. We reserved tickets through our EBT cards and the admission was free!!! Definitely a plus😁

We brought our oldest child for a preparatory tour/ sleep over at the USCGA and my youngest and I needed something to do. We found this place. It is absolutely amazing and totally worth the money. We stayed for hours! If you have young kids make sure you splash out the extra 12 for the Dino thing...little kids adore it!. The staff was professional, the exhibits were amazing, and we just had a fantastic time!

I was thinking of going somewhere fairly close , within an hours ride, to do something out of the ordinary. I came up with the Mystic Aquarium. I brought my 17yr old son along. I wasn't sure ifhe would still enjoy it as an older teenager but he really liked it, not in a way that a young child would but with a more scientific point of view as well as a healthy dose of teenage boy gross humor describing various fish and animals. Gross descriptions aside, it's a great place to go to see fish from all over the world as well as the displays of local fish and wildlife. There are outdoor exhibits with seals, penguins and Beluga whales. Indoors it has interactive exhibits ,where you can "pet" some of the fish as well as an outdoor tent where you can pet some Cow nose rays. There is also a California sea lion show which was both fun and educational. You can take your time while there but you have to purchase tickets in advance for a specific time. If you just show up like I did they have kiosks where you can pick a time and buy your tickets . Luckily for us there were openings for the time that we got there so we were able to go right in. It's such a big place that it probably could accommodate you when you get there but if you want to be safe I would go online and purchase in advance. Masks are required indoors so make sure you bring one. We spent about 2and 1/2 hours there which was enough time to see the exhibits and a show but I would have liked an extra half hour to an hour to go thru the exhibits a little more slowly. We got there at 130 and it closed early(4pm) because it was New Years Eve. I would allow about three hours to see it all especially if you have small children in tow. All in all a great experience! Enjoy!

A very cute aquarium! The prices have gone up immensely but I know they are an intricate part to supporting and maintaining marine wildlife off our New England coasts. I wish the signage to the marine life had said where they were from. We love learning about where each animal comes from and there are not enough verbiage to educate. The staff needs to have a stronger voice to the ignorant and blatantly irresponsible patronage who do not follow the rules. Washing your hands, using the two finger pet rule and avoiding certain areas of the petting pools is so dang important. Repeating the rules in a passive aggressive manner does not make people listen. Back bones and strong representation to the aquarium recommended. Otherwise, a beautiful clean aquarium for the public to be enjoy. Kid friendly. Handicapable friendly. Educational to a point thanks to the staff.

It's decent size and nice for a visit. We had a pleasant time. You have to buy time slot tickets either at the door or possibly online. We were unaware and had to wait two hours before we could enter. We grabbed lunch and walked around Mystic Village which was enjoyable. It is very crowded most days so expect to be in the vicinity of others. Don't expect to immediately be able to experience an exhibit without first having to wait and take turns with other patrons. The animals seem generally happy. The exhibits are clean and the aquariums are too. It's difficult to truly get a full learning experience because of the crowds however the staff is mostly knowledgeable. There are interactive areas for children, information hubs for different exhibits, and a few regionally themed aquariums that were interesting. We paid extra for the dino exhibit. It was interesting with life sized robotic dinosaurs. If you have experienced something like this before it's probably similar to what you have experienced albeit it was nicely done. Overall if you've never been to an aquarium this is a decent experience. I probably won't go again just because of the crowds, it made it difficult to enjoy what they had to offer. Four stars because they do what they do pretty well but for me it wasn't anything I haven't experienced somewhere before.

If you're going to go more than once, which I recommend, just get a membership. Tourist season in Mystic is impossible for any reason, and the aquarium is no exception, but it's definitely worth frequent visits the rest of the year. I'm still glad I get to see a variety of pinnipeds here, but I wish the California Sea Lions could be enjoyed in a regular habitat, not just the theater tank. The facility is tidy and the staff looks genuinely happy to be there.

You must go here!! One of the best aquariums I have ever visited! Seeing multiple beluga whales in person and interacting with them through the glass is something I will never forget. The aquarium has a huge outdoor section with several cool exhibits — beluga whales, seals, penguins. The indoor section is great as well with a large variety and tanks and exhibits. The sea lion “show” was both entertaining and educational, shedding light on some ways to be more environmentally friendly!

BUY TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME! Nice place. Smaller than the Boston aquarium. Fun interactive things to do and GREAT customer service!!! We went at 9am and people were already waiting in line. So pre-buy tickets! All the staff that we came in contact with provided excellent knowledge about the animals, facility and area. We went on a long holiday weekend. If I was to go again I would go at a time with less kids.

What a fun place! It’s not the biggest aquarium in the country but it makes up for it in guest service and interesting exhibits. The sea lion show was cheesy but cute. The main gallery had interactive exhibits and lots of interesting info. We saw the sea lion feeding and the attendants did a great job of explaining their actions and behavior of the animals. And of course the belugas were so dang cool! If we lived closer, we would definitely get season passes but a trip every year is definitely warranted!

We have been here quite a few times and it never gets boring! Sad that the penguins area was out due to construction but well be back again. The beluga are always happy and the sea lion show was spectacular as usual. They updated it! Enjoy some of our photos and the video of the beluga saying hi

We had so much fun at Mystic Aquarium! The highlights of my trip were seeing the penguins, beluga whales, and the sea lion show! If you are debating whether or not to see the show, I highly recommend watching it (great experience for both kids and adults). I’d recommend getting there a little early to get a good seat and there’s a little bit of audience participation at the front middle row if you’d like that. Inside the aquarium, there were a few interactive exhibits where you could touch the fish or crustacean and one where you learn about waste. All the staff were very nice and welcoming. We had a really wonderful time seeing all the animals. Overall, highly recommend this aquarium!

Do arrive by their opening, so you can secure proper parking. The first seal show is at 11 AM, which was amazing. Play with sharks and sting rays. Learn more about the Long Island Sound and the technology inspired by it. Explore the aquatic life of the Amazon. Best of all use various links to go on a listening tour. The staff are friendly, so ask for help and directions. This is a place to frequent often, so get a membership to enhance your learning.

This aquarium is great every single time it truly never gets old! It’s such a beautiful place and you can tell the animals are taken care of and loved. Everyone who works there is very informative!

So fun! There are so many things to do here. We got there bright and early and had bought our tickets online so we got right in. It was a lot less crowded in the early morning. It’s about half inside and half outside. They have feeding schedules posted for each out door animal. There are workers at each station telling you all about the animals which was neat and they answer questions. There is an outdoor play area for smaller kids(8 and under) it is in the shade. Definitely lets the kids get some energy out. There are so many add ins throughout the aquarium. My daughter did the hurricane simulator and loved it. Only $6. There are a few touch tanks: shark, star fish, sting ray etc. the food and drinks are over priced but that’s to be expected. The dinoseas was a nice add on which wasn’t too expensive. They have quite a few interactive activities, a kids play area, 2 4D movies and some neat animatronic dinos and turtles. This is all indoors. The sea lion show was awesome! It is less than 30 minutes. Very entertaining and interactive. You are able to come and go as you please you just need a stamp before you leave. Great experience and pretty affordable. Recommend dining elsewhere or packing from home. The food is tasty but pricey.

It’s always amazing to visit here at Mystic Aquarium. My toddler loved it! The gentle giants beluga whales❤️. Food options are less but overall awesome and don’t miss the sea lions show.

My first time visiting and will absolutely go back! The entire village contains shopping and food to appeal to just about everyone and the scene Terry is absolutely charming! Easy access to Mystic Aquarium right across the street & free parking. Will go again for sure!

This place is an absolute vibe. It’s a really cute little array of local businesses. Food, Christmas shops, gift shops all in one place and all so colorful. I visited in the second week of March so many shops were closed. Might open up by the end of April. Must visit in Mystic!

We always drive to the Village when we visit Mystic. It isn't far away at all and has all kinds of neat shops and restaurants. There is plenty of parking and you are right by I-95 so if you come here after visiting Mystic you don't have to drive back through town and across the drawbridge to leave. It makes for an easier exit from the area in my opinion. They are beside a gas station with a DD and a Dominos inside as well as a McDonald's next door if you are looking to fuel up and eat cheap before you hit the highway.

This place was so fun! We went over 3 times on a 3 day trip to Mystic! The location is great, right next to the aquarium. It's not a town like I thought, but a shopping center made to look like an old village. It was quaint and had the most unique shops and restaurants! We ate at the Jealous Monk. Awesome beer and kielbasa with sauerkraut. Great outdoor seating and atmosphere. The next day my kids and I headed to the Cloak and Wand shop (SO FUN to get your own drinkable potions!) and we hit up the Toy Soldier toyshop, and The Boardwalk which has great kitchy gifts and candy and they also serve food. It closes early, at 6pm, so we had to finish up the next day. There's a great personalization shop, chocolate shop, honey/olive oil/vinegar/pasta shop, and my husband loved the beef jerky experience store. The shops are so unique and there are tons of them. I popped into the Alice in the Village shop which is like Alice in Wonderland, and next door is Alice's Haunted book shop. There's plenty of parking all around, it's easily walkable, and so eclectic. I didn't think the prices were too bad, and there are public bathrooms on one end. It was a wonderful place to shop and spend some time. We'd definitely enjoy going again!

Being from NYC, this place was very cool! It was almost like a small western town out of a movie. They have small owned shops with just about everything you could imagine.

It’s been some time since I’ve been back in the area and also gone to mystic village and I had mixed feelings. Definitely a eclectic mix of stores. Some felt old and tired a few we’re familiar and interesting and one stood out as original. Arijsu “A curious place”is by far the most interesting and unique store by far and not even listed on the webite🤨 Anime comes to life in this store and they even carry Japanese food products I had never seen before. Franklin general store is a fun place to explore.. the fact that they do not allow any samples for there $$$ priced nuts and fudge means we did not buy any. Deviant donuts… while they look like pieces of artwork, they were very over priced and overly doughy and lacking fillings and flavor. Other than “pop on the block popcorn” The lack of samples from the beef jerky store every other store selling fudges and the like was disappointing. I know longer spend $$$ on things when I have no idea of their flavor or quality. The cloak and Wand felt like a confusing mix of Harry Potter and Salem witchery… I did say it was eclectic. With same day delivery from Amazon I honestly kind of expect more from shops..

Great place to visit and shop around at various stores. Sticky Situation, the glass jewelry place, extra virgin olive oil, and Munson's chocolate are all great places. The area around Christmas time takes new life and is a joy to experience. They had llamas roaming the grounds, which was so cool. Will always visit when I am in the area! The lights around Holiday time are an extra bonus!

Had a blast walking around the shops on Mother's day. Can't wait to come back and explore even more! Beautiful area!

This might be one of my favorite places ever! From the amazing food (try Bleu Squid or Mangos) to the adorable little finds (Franklin's general store) to the magical wizardry/witches (The cloak and wand) and to fulfill your Anime/Manga heart (Arisu), OMV is PERFECT! Not only for you, but your children, your puppies, your partner, your grandparents, your whoever will find something for themselves here!!! Also, it's literally next to the Mystic Aqarium (hellooo beluga! 🐳)! It couldn't be a more perfect outing. There is also a hilton garden inn (one of my favorite "chains" directly across the street)! Have the best time!

Love this place! Stopped here for a break during a drive between NYC and Rhode Island. Lovely quaint shops with items not usually found in the cookie cutter malls. The place is also quite scenic, with restaurants and cafes if you're feeling peckish.

Our favorite place in all Connecticut! All the shops are always a delight. We love the Cloaks and Wands and especially Alice’s tea place. The Christmas tree is also beautiful. We love visiting every season. Also, you must try the chocolate shop.

Great visit for some holiday revelry & gift getting. 40 minute wait for dinner nit an issue because you can have fun people watching & chatting with strangers, Make fun & sharing a laugh or two. The shops were open much later than I thought. Witches store was a hoot.

Great little outdoor shopping center. The olive oil place sticky situation is a must to go shopping. They also have flavored honey and syrups, when you're there say hi to Dan. Also you have to try Mango's wood fired pizza, tastes like NY Pizza

Wedding photographer's perspective: Olde Mistick Village is such an awesome location for engagement, couple's, or family photos. Recently, I've had a few wedding couples of mine request to have their sessions there. And for good reason: it's a photogenic spot and provides ample opportunity to take things slow because of the great businesses which reside there. As a local, I've always loved going. My wife and I enjoy bringing our family there, especially to get our favorite pizza at Mango's. If you're in town, you have to check out Olde Mistick Village!

Wonderful little village with food, a coffee shop, a tea store, and all sorts of other clothing and eclectic stores. Stop by the famous Mystic Pizza to grab a slice and see iconic photos of the movie.

It’s basically a kind of touristy location - I have never seen Mystic Pizza (the film) and it was related to me that the actually building is a tourist destination in itself. My friend walked me around town and pointed out the attractions. On that day it was particularly hot and the sidewalks thronged with shuffling tourists. Also, word of warning: there’s a drawbridge running through town - over the Mystic River - that can leave you stuck on one side for quite some time depending on what the status on that is. It is the main thoroughfare along the stores and waterfront and used by both pedestrians and vehicles to cross.

Interesting shops and tasty food options make this a fun walk. If you time it right, you might get to what the bridge draw up!

Such a beautiful seaside town with a lot of little shops, historical houses and so much to do close by. Great to walk around and explore!

We just spent Labor Day weekend at Mystic Downtown Marina , it was the first time for my husband and I. We were both extremely satisfied with the amenities, how accommodating and the service of the manager Brian and lastly how convenient it was that we were right around the corner from town with lots to do! Great experience

History was made during the summer of 2014 when Mystic Seaport Museum took the last remaining wooden whaleship in the world back to sea. Following a five-year restoration, the Charles W. Morgan sailed on her 38th Voyage to New England ports-of-call, raising awareness of America’s maritime heritage and calling attention to issues of ocean sustainability and conservation.

The Museum closes early and there is no access to the port when it is closed. The area is fenced.

You can onboard this boat and see the lower level.

A great ship to visit they did a great job on the restoration..watch you head while walking through.

As you walk in you are greeted by many of the dancers. They let us sit in the main room. Very intimate setting. It was my first time in mystic CT and we came here specifically to watch this show. It was a very special experience, extremely talented dancers. They kept eye contact all seats were pretty amazing. After the show, we spoke to many of the dancers. The director was very accommodating considering I booked the wrong date and it was totally my fault. We brought two bottles of wine to drink and they had wine openers and glasses on the table. Just such a nice experience. Highly recommend as a must see if in mystic.

A friend recommended and so glad we went. A very unique experience in Mystic. We went with another couple to see Exposure in Feb 2022. We are so blessed to be in such a wonderful area that offers so many uniques performances, beauty and entertainment. I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a relaxing, but exciting evening with the right mix of music, dance, sensuality and more. Relax & enjoy. BYOB if you choose. Bring friends or have a romantic evening for two. IT is such a unique experience that you have to experience yourself. Hats off to the performers, choreographer, and the owner. Creating & Maintaining the connection with the audience is so rare - but extremely valued. Thank you for bringing such an amazing venue to this area. Will be going back for sure.

Wow!! Just wow! Went into this experience not know what to expect. And I was blown away! The style and intimacy of the show is unmatched and leaves you wanting to see more. Its constant excitement from start to finish! Every dancer performs at such a high level! At the end you even get to meet most of them to hear what it is like behind the scenes and the stories of having dancers from all over the world! World class, must see show! I'll be back!

The show was absolutely incredible!! From the very first moment of being welcomed into the gorgeous venue, to feeling the passion and energy of the performers as they poured their hearts out, coming to the Mystic Dark Room is an experience I will always treasure. My wife and I saw the show ‘Flesh’ four times during our two week vacation in Mystic, each time we sat in a different position in relation to the stage which gave us four different perspectives of the same magnificent show. The show itself is a journey of emotions intertwining many different genres of dance in tune with the same balance of various musical styles, exploring everything it is to be human and the experience of painful emotions, dealing with the ups and down of life that I’m sure we have all experienced or will experience in our lives. As the cast takes you through this spectacular display of talent, dance, comedy and audience participation you will experience the full range of suffering, joy, laughter, passion, and redemption finishing in a crescendo of energy and dance that you are so close to in the intimate set up of the venue you actually feel part of the show. On each performance myself and the whole audience leapt to our feet to give a standing ovation in unison, I have been lucky enough to see many shows in the UK and all over Europe but this is truly unique, intimate and unforgettable.

Mystic Dark Room is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is electric, the dancers are beyond talented, and the show is an absolute delight. It's a perfect blend of entertainment and artistry, making every moment memorable. A must-visit for a unique and enchanting experience!

What an amazing evening of dance and music! Warmly greeted at the door and lead to the most intimate venue we've ever experienced. The dancers were exciting and innovative. The music was familiar yet fresh. A wonderful job of choreography for close quarters interaction with the audience. The energy passed between performers and us was palpable. Highly recommend if you have the chance. A truly hidden gem.

There is so much to see and do here! We easily spent a couple hours here while visiting Mystic on a chilly day. There are a lot of exhibits for kids to interact with indoors, a listening room that tells the story of nighttime and helps kids learn about different animal sounds, live turtles, a snake, and frogs, all inside. Everything is very educational and well-thought out. Outside there are some gorgeous birds that have disabilities, so they are living their best lives here. There are beautiful walking trails with ponds and creeks, giant boulders, and a beautiful meadow. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This place is affordable and definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful nature walk -- the spooky decorations on the trail were a fun a cute treat, although we would have liked to have done the full meditation trail. We were fortunate enough to come on a Sunday so we could also enjoy the farmer's market down the road from the nature center!

Great place to take the kids. The nature walks through the woods is beautiful and quiet. Lots of birds. They have a night exhibit that is also very good.

Wow! We saw no other guests and wandered all over. Lovely animals and interactive displays inside, a few raptors outside. The 4 yr old loved the bunny hopping freely inside. They honor blue star families, but regular admission is $8 for adults, less for kids. Picnic area at entry, inside, and benches scattered along paths. You could managed a wheeled chair, but some paths are heavily root-filled. Board walks, swamps, ponds, forest...we have to go back when the kids can walk longer on a hot hot day. Mosquitoes can be pesky. Loved it!

We did the Raptor Encounter, and it was one of the best experiences!!! Lori was AMAZING!! We learned so much, and seeing the raptors so close was thrilling!! Thank you so much Lori and team!!!

Very interesting nature area with great volunteers helping out. Mushroom festival was very busy, but it was a fun enjoyable and learning day. Food options were interesting and dealt with the crowd admirably.

Great place to bring children to learn about local wildlife and conservation! Several walking paths and a very special presentation inside the main building!

We love visiting here! Many interactive exhibits which educate visitors about wildlife and habitats in Connecticut. They've added an Early Childhood learning room, perfect for littles! We saw lots of frogs, fish and turtles in the pond outside. Hiking trails are easy, especially the ones around the pond. The trails connect with the trails at Coogan Farm. The Farm Trail was quite overgrown. Be mindful of poison ivy as well as ticks.

I enjoyed this little spot during our trip to mystic. The nature center was only $14 for 2 people. There were turtles. Frogs, owls, hawks to see. Plus an area to see and learn about animals fur, skeletons. A short night in the meadow show that was adorable. Very kid friendly. Lots of trails to hike. We walked around the pond and saw frogs. Fish, turtles, and birds. Highly recommend.

Fantastic youth programs and adult events! Our family loves the nature center! Their summer camp is top notch as well!

“Mystic Museum of Art” - this place is wonderful. Just further up from Sift Bakery store. Online it says it’s free, it’s not you have to pay $10 to enter (admission fee). I’d say it’s worth it. I had a wonderful time when I visited here. There is outdoor parking, the parking monitor person very chatty. I walked in. You have the beautiful river views of Mystic River and the Mystic River Bascule Bridge from the outside. I sat there outdoors in the sun sketching. The museum doesn’t open till 11:00am. (Don’t come too early, like I did.) If you’re an art enthusiast, you will love this. I was so excited to see cubism and fauvism paintings by famous artists in the flesh. It’s nice and quiet, you can admire the stories behind the paintings. Many floors. I loved the red, yellow, blue room where you can add your own paper sculpture. It’s just so cool. If you haven’t been, just go! 💚🎨🖌️🖼️

A wonderful (and free!) local gallery that is most definitely worth a trip visiting. The building itself is inspiring to walk through, and the collection is proportionally brilliant and beautiful. We loved the One World Project with contributions from local students. The staff were also so friendly and welcoming! A must-see any time I'm in the neighborhood.

Nice but small art museum. Take a walk around town and swing by this place for 20 minutes to enjoy some paintings and photos. It's free to enter but consider a small donation at the front door to keep this place going.

We went to see lighting boat parade in the river. It was good. However, They could have some music like Christmas carols to feel it in better way

Currently the MMoA has a fantastic lithograph collection of sourced from a mid-late 20th century French publication titled, "Behind the Mirror." Many thanks to the board and donors for bringing this exhibition to Mystic and making it so accessible with a $10 admission.

We love the summer camps at the Mystic Museum of Art. The teachers are fantastic & the director always makes us feel welcomed. Great experience all around!

Very nice museum that offers a good collection of art from various artists. I enjoyed the room in the back that allowed you to create art of your own (and the view from the window was great). The gift shop has some cool things for you to grab as souvenirs. I wish there was more to look at though. Also the staff was very much huddled in the office most of the time, would've been nice if they could've come out to engage, but maybe that's just me. Definitely recommend and would be open to going back.

This is such a pretty art gallery that is free to the public, unless you park your car in the parking area, then you have to pay a small fee. It doesn't really have a feel of a "museum" since a lot of the pieces are for sale. There are however several pieces that are permanent (NFS) and some that are on loan. A staff member who was very friendly and helpful said that the gallery changes the exhibit every six months. My favorite piece was the polar bear sculpture and that unfortunately is one of the permanent pieces in the gallery. I would come here again in the future to see what other kind of art is put on display.

I really enjoyed the Mystic Museum of Art. The artwork was interesting. I especially liked Paul White's paintings. The museum had a lot of interesting paintings from many different art periods.

Been excited to visit this little local art museum. The experience was, um... odd. The young woman behind the counter was looking down at something - maybe her phone - as we stood there for several awkward seconds. I said Hello? Do we need to sign in, or...? She looked up: "TEN DOLLARS" I said, "Oh okay, but I thought it was free/donation..?" "There's an exhibit" Oh, okay. Gave her my cc to pay the 30 bucks for the three of us. My daughter points out the "Military Discount" sign. Oh, how much is the military discount? I ask, taking out my ID. "FREE" she says. "OOOPS, it already went thru!" 😂 OUCH. It was the typical POS (point of sale) card reader, easy to reverse a charge on. But she didn't offer a partial, and I didn't ask. I'm all for supporting the arts. And I know you can't compare our little MMoA to The Bronx, Smithsonian, The Chicago, etc. free museums. But the overall experience... kind of left a bad taste. The museum is small. The exhibit, CRISIS TO COLOR: DERRIERE LE MIROIR (Behind the Mirror) was great. I dunno, prob won't be back unless something pretty amazing comes along.

Can only judge off one beer. Down in an old building, the atmosphere is average and smaller selection of beers. More IPA brews with some other flavors. I had the brown that was ok without the depth I was hoping. The Viking was average in flavor too.

Tastey brews that can be enjoyed in a quaint and low key atmosphere. If you want a little get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown while enjoying a locally brewed ale I can't think of a better spot in Mystic. Highly recommend.

Nanobrewery hidden in the basement - super quaint spot, not a lot of seating inside & no food offerings except chips & pretzels. The gal behind the bar was friendly. Beer selection was ok. We sampled both the apple & peach Whittle Farms fruit ales & went with a pint of the peach. the sample size was better tasting...the pint was meh. This place isn't for us.

They have bag/coat hangers on the bars! Small space that they make really good use out of. It's right off of the main drag, so it's both accessible and relaxing. The bar is just below grade so it's comfortable and quiet. Good tasting beers with a good variety without relying on gimmicks.

A great nanobrewery with fun and friendly staff. They had 8 beers on draught when we arrived but they have limited capacity so the beers are always changing and they may not have as many. Such fun and varied beer styles. They only have a hot pretzel for food (which we're got and enjoyed) but you can bring food in. They have a small indoor space, but a good sized beer garden / patio. If you're on the patio, they'll fetch you a new beer as needed so you don't have to go in and out.

It was super hard to figure out what beer to order because they were all amazing. Small, cozy, board games, cool off a bit.. this place is a hidden gem with great service and some of the tastiest small batch beers I've had in a long time.

I love the atmosphere of this brewery down in the basement of an old mill (or factory, it's rustic). Beer selection was limited but not a knock against this brewery as I figured that they are limited on production. I really liked the sour called Up Gose The Bridge. Hoping for more great things from this brewery.

This is such a cute little place. The woman behind the bar was very friendly and gave great recommendations. The beers on tap were all very unique and we all found something we liked. I got the tall flight & couldn't believe it was only $14. We grabbed a pizza from Mystic Pizza and enjoyed a really nice afternoon here. It wasn't crowded and was a great escape from the heat.

The tour was nice. We were instructed multiple times nothing is up on the third floor which seemed amusing. Nice ladies. Good snacks. Strange but pleasant experience.

Great place, with lots of history. It is interesting -- and manageable -- enough for all ages, including small kids. There's also a nice little nature center across the street and hiking nearby. The first time I went, I came with several family members when we were all visiting out of state -- only to be disappointed to see that it was closed that day. However, the Office Manager saw us peeking through the windows, came out and kindly gave us a detailed, private tour!

I stayed at Denison house the weekend of Nov 5 2021 with my family. We never experienced such a warm and and inviting feeling when we walked into the beautiful Denison House. The way the house is decorated is amazing and also extremely clean. It’s so relaxing there, no matter which room you choose to sit in. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. The hosts thought of everything from raining day games to sunny day picnic baskets. We were fortunate enough to have a gorgeous weekend. Going to Clydes Cider mill was a fun outing and it’s very close to the inn. We also made our way to the shops in the village, that’s always a treat. Every time we went out to do something, we all had the same feeling and that was we wanted to get back to the Denison Home that made us all feel so relaxed and cozy. If I can manage to get my family together again for a weekend, we will be going back there. Thank you for hosting my family

This was a nice surprise off the beaten path of the normal touristy stuff. Happy tbat my inquisitive child took an interest, asked intelligent questions and was given detailed and informative answers. Staff is very very well schooled regarding the time period and people who lived there. Beautiful day for walking around and exploring the beautiful grounds. Recommended! Tip: Get directions to homestead thru map quest. The place is in the boon docks, but still a nice, relaxing drive.

This is a beautiful, historic place to visit just outside of downtown Mystic. Dating back to the 1600's there's plenty to learn about that time period. The farmers market on Sundays features some of the best produce I've ever seen. It's a great day out for the family.

Was just there for the Farmers Market. Don't try to walk to this place unless you use the trails through the woods. You'll take your life onto you own hands if you try to walk the roads/streets from Mystic to here. The market was small but had some good items.

The rules prohibit disturbing the wildlife, yet this grounds keeper has been seen setting off M-80s (illegal) to scare away the ducks! I'm furious! This is supposed to be a peaceful place for our ancestors to rest!

We are German tourists. The Lady was very friendly and helpful. Nice athmosphere, especially on Halloween.

Get discounted tickets for the Aquarium and Seaport. Good deals, but cash only. Be prepared to wait 15+ minutes to exchange those tickets for admission tickets at the Aquarium.

Our favorite place to pick pumpkins. This is our newest family tradition. We picked up 3 large pumpkins for $20 total. The kids have a great time wandering through the field looking for their perfect pumpkin.

Fun place to take kids and adults. Huge 1300 pound pumpkin on display. lots in the field to choose your own and around the store. Different kinds and colors of pumpkins apples vegs cornstalks little gourds of all kinds shapes And colors. And for the kids a huge pig and her 4 plus piglets. Go and have fun. Enjoy a day out with the family.

Was so thankful to have a place to pick up fresh produce while on a getaway to Mystic! Wish I lived in a place with more farm stands like this! Service was excellent and there are pigs to feed corn to a side bonus of fun if you bring your kids there

We had such a fantastic time picking pumpkins with our little one at Whittle’s Farm! It was great for photos and our kiddo fed the pigs!

Expensive, 2 lg, not very lg and 1 small pumpkins for $38 not easy to get to the apple orchard for picking the people were very nice. They do have already picked fruits and vegetables available

This farm stand carries a wide array of vegetables and fruits in season. They also have excellent corn on the cob! Great place to bring the kids as well because they have pigs that you can feed!! Also I've had firewood delivered from here and it was nice well seasoned wood. In the fall they have great apples and pumpkin picking. Keep in mind this place is seasonal and closes in the fall reopening in the summertime.

The sprawling apple orchard is great for exploring and there is a huge selection of pumpkins both at the farm stand and in a field across the street, including pink, green, white and a variety of gourds big and small. The pigs were a hit with my toddler and the farm stand had an impressive selection of great-looking produce, from tomatoes to butternut squash to Brussels sprouts. Mums also for sale.

Loved the history & family-owned for 100 yrs! Wonderful: produce, local farmer's eggs, a terrific pumpkin patch for family & friends with a gourd or pumpkin as big as a 250lb person in the center! Several types of apples..our fav is Macoun. I also was excited to find grapes, tomatoes, squash, plums and more! I felt the prices were better than local grocery stores too which made me giddy as the cost of grocs, gas and everything has skyrocketed in past 14 mos. The staff too were warm, friendly & informative..a great exp all in all.

Love the glass pieces from the Mystic Aquarium in our living room. Simple to put on the wall and just hang.

We dropped in on a Saturday in November and were delighted to witness glass-blowing first hand! Jeffrey and his co-workers took the time to explain the process to us and to answer our questions, even though we are from abroad. Our kids (5 and 7) were struck with awe. Thank you and keep up your skillful craft!

Arrived early on a Thursday. Jeffrey most gracious in taking us on tour of his gallery and workspace. The gallery is well positioned to take advantage of sunshine which showcases ever facet and gleaming surface of his pieces. It is a must-see if you are in Mystic. I was the happy recipient of a pair of his stunning glass earrings. Will be returning to watch him work.

The studio caught my eye while driving through Mystic because of the beautiful stained glass window art. Once inside you're treated to magnificent blown glass works! Besides each piece made by hand, the glass itself is meticulously created there also. Jeffrey P'an himself took time to chat with everyone who came in. There is a schedule of open studio dates on Saturdays in 2019 so check them out!

Jeffery is a glass blower and a talented one at that. He does vases, bowls and candy dishes. His work is stunningly beautiful, elegant, one of a kind and just shy of impossible to find anywhere else. Having said that, if you're drunk, clumsy, towing rowdy children/pets or are one of those women whose purse swings wild and free from your shoulder do NOT, under any circumstances enter his shop. I made a very, very brief visit to check out this man's work. The CHEAPEST item I could was a small candy dish for $800. His creations start off in the 8 THOUSAND dollar range with some of the larger vases going for 17 THOUSAND! Ho-Lee mackerel! If you're not in the top one-half of the one percent, I wouldn't go there. If you do chance a visit, don't break anything. You've been warned......

Stopped in several months ago after watching "Blown Away" on Netflix. I'm sure this shop has seen some increased foot traffic as a result. We spoke with a nice young gentleman who was happy to talk about the show with us and comment on some pieces/artists. I did not find any glass that fit my style, but the experience of a working glass blowing studio still gives it 4 stars from me.

We stayed at the Sky tower and it was amazing! The whole lobby and place smelt like soap it was so clean. Very comfortable beds, waking up was difficult. The lobby is located right near some of the best restaurants and nothing is really too far. We had a gorgeous view of the water, I recommend being higher up if possible. A great way to spend my birthday weekend. Thank you!

I had a good time there and without gambling too much. This place is packed on the weekend. It's more than a casino, it's a place you can bring the kids, they will have some fun too . The stores sure are expensive, but that's to be expected in a casino resort. The casino itself is very beautiful. It's also very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. A very good selection of affordable priced restaurants. I had fun just walking around.

This is my favorite place on the East Coast to gamble. I live in New Jersey and I do not like going to Atlantic City. The only thing I can say about the drive even though it’s supposed to be 2 1/2 hours route 95 is horrible so it does take close to three to 3 1/2 hours. I would rather drive the extra time to go to Mohegan Sun than go to Atlantic City. the casino and the rooms are spotless from valet to luggage guys are great they’re fun the front desk people are so knowledgeable helpful. Great restaurants believe it or not. Our favorite place to go now is Frank Pepe‘s pizza? It’s terrific, we go to the Mexican restaurant sit at the bar and have our cocktails. The bar staff is terrific. Todd English is Tuscany is great we’ve been there several times and of course we always finish the night with our ice cream at Ben & Jerry’s. It has turned into a non-smoking casino for now, which is fine. If we spend a couple of days there, we will take a drive into Mystic to go to. The little store is the town Mystic Seaport even great restaurants there it’s 20 minutes away. It’s worth the trip. We never have a bad time at Mohegan Sun, and when we go up to that part of Connecticut.

I came here with my family. I love it here. It is a very very large hotel. It is kid friendly, they have an arcade and a baby sitting area if you’d like to drop your kid off. There are many many food options such as fast food and fine dining. The rooms were up to par and cleaned nicely. It was a great experience and the Casino was very large and a variety of machines. The hotel comes with two beautiful pools. The nightly rates are good, you just need to find one that accommodates you the most. There are always events here and they’re cheap. I’d recommend coming here with your family!

This place is ridiculously large. Visited friends getting married here - the large suite made preparation for that easy. Key card is required in order to even work the elevator, so its secure. Parking garages easy to navigate into other areas of the casino, but valet parking is free even for guests at Sky Tower, should you desire to use it. Prices were higher than I was willing to pay, even for the most basic rooms, so I stayed elsewhere, but all the employees I interacted with were very kind.

My husband and I came here from Philly to see a Tool concert in the arena. It was beautiful and super convenient. The hotel rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished. Beautiful view of the river from our windows. It was a short distance to the arena from our room and where the stores and restaurants are. We had fun at the casino, too, but I was really impressed with the architecture, art sculptures, waterfall, mosaic glass lights, mohageny arches, and sculptures. The Italian restaurant looked like an old world Catholic church, which added a classy, elegant, and creepy vibe. I loved everything about this place, and I can't wait to go back!

Love this Casino! Has plenty of great restaurants and shopping and the games are far a d wide. Rooms are nice a d service is top notch! I try to get there a handful of times per year. I'm actually heading down there today from Maine for a 2 night stay.

I’ve visited Mohegan Sun countless times and it has consistently been a fantastic destination for a night of entertainment. The rooms are always clean and inviting, making the stay even more enjoyable. The casino experience has been satisfactory, and I’ve never been disappointed with any of the dining options available. Enjoy walking around the shops area. It’s the perfect spot for a great evening out!

This hotel is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't regret it. Wow ! Very cool place, unique Native American vibe with amazing art work and architectural features. We went for a show, 2 Cellos were spectacular. Very well run , the ample staff were very helpful. Wear your comfy shoes, it's a large place with lots to see. Great place for a show ! Would definitely go back !

I've visited on weekend evenings for a concert and to celebrate a friend's birthday. Both times were a memorable and positive experience. The parking is free, although more exterior signage would have been helpful for parking. As far as the interior, this place has an absolutely thoughtful and breathtaking interior design. I could go on and on about how beautiful and clean it is here. Mohegan Sun is large, but both smaller and more adult-oriented than it's competitor, Foxwoods. I cannot speak to the casino and hotel rooms at this time but the food selection is great and there are a lot of late night options.

This place truly had everything. A mini city with even the smallest details accounted for. What a great time. Everything there was of the best kind of quality food, attractions, dancing, the gambling was fierce the partying was never over. Even our night there I don’t know if I ever slept that good in my life. Even if for once in a life time this spot has to be experienced to its full extent.

My very first time visiting and I was very impressed. I’ve been to a few casinos but this one has a very upscale vibe. The rooms are excellent as well very spacious but the view is what sealed it for me. We had a room overlooking the lake and what a view to wake up to. I will definitely be visiting again

9/12/23 My husband and I had a very nice overnight stay. Everyone was friendly from the check in to the check out staff. The room was lovely and squeaky clean just what we like about our casinos stays. Very nice selection of restaurants. Enjoyed playing video poker. We cannot wait to go back soon!

My wife and I went there for a day trip, not to gamble but just to see the place. The casino was as eye blindingly bright as you'd expect, and gambling was available everywhere as you can imagine. However, when considered as a mall, it was very attractive with some great architectural details that were over the top, but interesting.

My boyfriend got me tickets to Tool at Mohegan for my birthday. I definitely recommend seeing a concert here. Great sound and small enough so you can actually see the stage. The light show was impressive too! Next time we will add extra time for traffic... There is no way around all the traffic.

Tough place to go and relax. Twenty minutes needs to lapse between drinks and they're exact about 20 minutes. So many rules to go with a group where we just want to have fun and have a great memory. Keep your rules. I saw them tell a guy he is on a list and won't get served anywhere in the place. Great rooms but I already have parents. They proofed a 50 year old. Really?

Great place, all in one venue. Hotel, Casino, Mall, many fun bars and clubs also bowling and many more. A fun family 9r Adult fun ground. A must for a weekend or a week. Check it out. Rooms are very nice, clean, and spacious. Security is on point and ready to help.

Very clean easy self parking. Rooms are spacious and amenities were adequate. .Restaurants foods were delicious. *****Special Shout out to the staff and workers at the Micheal Jordan restaurant. Courteous, thoughtful and the food was great. Thankful for the extra thought of giving us a signed birthday card with a birthday treat. 💕😋 Definitely would visit again

Drove to the Mohegan Sun on May 15, 2022 & November 21, 2022 mornings to hangout with friends to gamble. It was about a 3 hour drive. When arrived there was lots of parking space. The parking is free. The staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions, directions. The restrooms, casino, restaurants, shops, floors all very clean. There’s many machines, table games and sports betting. Lots of shopping stores and restaurants. The food at the restaurants are delicious and well prepared which makes you want more. I’ve not had the opportunity to go to the night entertainment for shows, club nights etc…. Will be looking forward to do so for future visits. Did not stay overnight will book a few nights for the future. Thank you Mohegan Sun for an excellent experience.

It's a great casino for those that go for the machines. There are an adequate number of table games and sports betting. Fanduel has a great space. Michael Jordan's restaurant and his sports bar are standout places to eat. Be prepared to spend $100 or more at the restaurant but the food is well prepared. Good shopping and food choices. Getting from the parking lot to the hotel lobby isn't too bad. If you can catch a show while you're there, it'll make the experience that much better. Of course, there's more opportunity for night entertainment if you go on a Friday or Saturday with shows, club nights and live bands in the various restaurants and spaces. Sunday through Thursday are slower but if you simply need a change of scenery or a moment to get away, it's worth it. The indoor pool, hot tub and fitness room are well done. The spa is definitely worth a try. There aren't many choices for breakfast. The staff was very polite and helpful. Overall, 4.5.

I've been to multiple events at Mohegan, I enjoy going there. My most favorite thing is the smell, even before the no smoking allowed. I do not really gamble, but the atmosphere seems calm in the gambling area. I have gone to concerts in the wolf's den as well as some concerts & fights in the arena. Everything is very well organized & has run smoothly every single time! The hotels are also.. amazing. & I love their decorations especially during the holidays!

I had a good time there and without gambling too much. This place is packed on the weekend. It's more than a casino, it's a place you can bring the kids, they will have some fun too . The stores sure are expensive, but that's to be expected in a casino resort. The casino itself is very beautiful. It's also very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. A very good selection of affordable priced restaurants. I had fun just walking around.

This place is awesome. I didn't do any research before we went and I was very surprised. Tons of restaurants and stores. The decor and colors are gorgeous. You can seriously spend hours there and not know. I played roulette and I walked away with some chips and tried to play at another table and that is. No no. The staff educated me on why you can't mix the chips. The place is clean and inviting. Parking was very easy.

I've traveled all over the US. I have seen a lot of casinos. This may be the cleanest one. Very friendly and frequent staff all over the floor to the restaurants to the management in the floor. I stopped and tested them for customer service situations, and they did great. It's very spacious and has all kinds of slots, especially new ones. This is setup great and has a good layout. Food options are very put together and open late. The shops are nice add as well as the waterfalls and decor. It's very well lit up and has great photos opportunities everywhere. Parking was probably the one negative thing I had. Nothing is perfect, but this is definitely a real deal, and I see why it wins awards. The slots seem to be lost and tight at the same time. It's probably just a preference. I would totally come back every time I'm on the East Coast. 5 stars, this is a real review. Not plugged for attention or advertisements l.

Stayed one night in Sky Tower hotel as part of package "room + concert". Room was very comfy and clean and all would be wonderful if not for a SCAM they are running with their "refreshments" in the "mini bar drawer". So apparently that drawer is weight sensitive, but NO warning of that, so the minute you pick up mini bottle of alcohol or small box of chocolates to look at, it senses that is it gone and charges you for that. Does not matter that you put it right back and the "whole weight" is back in the drawer, the charges are on your room invoice. They count on you for not seeing the invoice an the check-out and just paying extra charges (my mistake for doing online check-out instead of front desk). Next day when i got emailed detailed invoice and saw 3 extra charges for "touched items" , I had to call and explain we only looked at them and did not consume anything and got full refund. Still, all this could have been avoided if they just placed a note on mini-bar warning about "do not touch" anything. I spoke to customer relations and asked to add such note.

Everything was perfect. Location was great. The room was extremely clean. There's so much to do here. Great food and lots of fun. You could literally just walk around enjoying looking at everything

Love Mohegan Sun. I have been going there for years both for over nights and day trips. It is so much more than a casino. The aesthetic is amazing and calls back to the Mohegan tribes roots. There are so many games if you want to gamble and there are dozens of other options if you don’t want to gamble. From restaurants, to bars, to clubs, to shops, to concerts. I recommend Mohegan Sun to everyone from and visiting Connecticut.

Such a fun place! Our hotel room was really nice and clean. The staff was plentiful keeping everything clean and very nice. The rooms are a walk away from the restaurants and casino which makes them nice and quiet but at the end of the night, something to keep in mind. Restaurants are expensive but the arena was awesome for the show we saw! We will definitely be back!

Mohegan Sun is simply an amazing destination. From casual dining to fine dining, from classic steakhouse to Asian fusion to authentic Italian, seafood or Mexican and more, Mohegan. Has it all. Whatever your liking, you should be able to find the gaming option of choice and the newer sportsbook is a great addition. There is plenty to do for people of all ages including world class entertainment and more local bands, comedy, shopping, spa, game room and even bowling. Above all, Mohegan continues to ban smoking...which is incredible and unique! Self parking or valet, it is all easy and convenient as is the location off or Rt 2 or 395. The rooms that have been renovated deserve a 5 star rating. I gave a 4 star as while the rooms are terrific, I believe that some are still scheduled for upgrade. If you are looking to get away for a night or weekend or have a conference at Mohegan... you will be very pleased with what you find.

The place is huge! I’d recommend valet parking (free) it can be a bit of a walk depending where you’re going to go within the resort. The 26th floor room had a great view of the river. It was clean and comfortable. There are 27 restaurants, 17 bars, casinos, shopping, and the event centers. It almost has the feel of a mega-cruise ship on land.

It's a great experience every time I go here. I wish some of the restaurant places would open a little bit later. But overall it's a great experience. It's a great thing every time I go here I see a new part and I haven't seen. Make sure you go to the ATM before you go so you don't get hit with the large ATM fee here. It's best just to bring cash with you.

Can't wait for the Kentucky Derby I've been having so much fun down there the past couple weeks the VIP lounge private tables and now we're going to be upstairs for the Kentucky Derby with a view of everyone can't wait. Love you Mohegan Sun
