Went in early June and the weather was great. Parking was a little confusing, we ended up just stopping on a nearby road and walking down but was only a 5 minute walk! The beach itself is beautiful and I loved that there were wildlife safety attendants who made sure to keep people off of the rocks and to help us spot animals! Cannon Beach was just down the road with a bunch of cute shops and restaurants to walk in. Loved all of the flowers in bloom.

Very pretty, especially at sunset. Fun to see at low tide. You might even see starfish and sea anemones, plus tons of birds and maybe even a puffin or two! Free beach access but had quick access via nearby resort and spa. Romantic for couples, fun for families and even beach fires at night. There's nothing like waking up to the sound of the ocean and stepping out your balcony to see this beautiful sight.

One of the prettiest locations I’ve ever been to. Went on a Saturday so parking was hard but we found something right near the one main entrance to the beach. Sand was so soft. It was very family friendly and pet friendly. It was such a beautiful day the weather couldn’t have been any better. Constant beach patrols going back and forth so that was nice to see.

Cannon Beach becomes even more beautiful with this extra touch—it just completes the whole picture. It's the kind of place that leaves you speechless, and trust me, you really have to check it out on your next Oregon coast trip. The sunset there? Absolutely worth every moment.

We had to make a stop there and witness God's creation and enjoy it. This place is a must-visit attraction site if you are driving alongside the Pacific highway. I mean, there are many spots and viewpoints to enjoy and this one should be on the top 5 list. The area around it is very beautiful from sand, trees, and other natural sites. Make sure and stop there for a visit.

The most beautiful place you'll find in the area. The tide pools are awesome to experience. NOTE: If you choose to visit and see the tide pools, you MUST respect the rules. Stay on the sand. DO NOT walk on the rocks or touch the wildlife. This is not some purpose made exhibit that you let your children crawl on. This is a delicate ecosystem. Please show respect and reverence to the wildlife. Take a picture or watch. Don't touch. Sunset and sunrise are stunning on Cannon Beach

"hey you guys" you've got to check out these rocks. I have seen puffin, sea stars, hermit crabs and other sea creatures out there but today I saw some Elk on the hill side leading down to the water. This place is special and is always a crowd pleaser. My son had fun spotting different sea creatures this last time we visited.

Been visiting this spot since I was a little kid. Such good memories have been built on this beach. This is a must stop if visiting the coast. Cannon Beach is one of the best tourist stops on the coast in my opinion. Great stores, restaurants and beaches. What’s not to love. There is also plenty of rentals available for those wishing to stay more than a day trip.

One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever visited. So glad I made the trip. The beach wasn't too crowded. The water was freezing, but that didn't stop anyone from getting their feet wet. Plenty of overflow parking two blocks up from the beach. Well worth the drive up hwy 101.

Haystack Rock's natural beauty is awe-inspiring. Its grandeur against the ocean backdrop is captivating. Exploring the vibrant tide pools is like discovering a hidden world. Must visit! The most amazing views. We stayed on the beach for a while, just in awe. We went on our own. We did not pay for a tour. If you rent a vehicle, you are able to drive there on your own and stay as long as you like. We ended walking to an amazing restaurant on the beach and had some delicious lunch. Don't think twice. Go!

Long time & frequent visitor. So many great memories here. Hands down the most amazing beach I've ever been to. Night-time fires on the beach, picnics, birthdays, anniversaries, beach combing and the sunsets! The sunsets are incredible. Summer nights are the best because the sky is clear and you can see every star in the sky (provided you don't go on a full moon, which is equally as beautiful). I absolutely LOVE Cannon Beach. I loaded a mix of photos I've taken over several years. Time to go back SOON!

Beautiful beach. No litter (keep it that way!) And very dog friendly. Always windy, and always chilly. But beautiful and great for long walks on the beach. At low tide the volunteers that come out to keep people off the rock are amazing. They can teach you all about the wildlife that desperately need the safety of the rock to be protected.

This place has captured our hearts and refuses to let go. Cannon Beach, you’ve left an indelible mark on our souls. The memories we created there are etched in our minds like footprints in the sand. The feeling of the ocean breeze, so vivid and alive, still dances in our minds. It's like we can almost taste the salty air again! 🌅 But it was the kids eyes filled with pure joy that truly took our breath away. Seeing them delight in every moment was a reminder of how precious these family adventures are. ❤️

Wonderful beach and well worth a visit. Make sure to explore when the tide is out or at sunset. Starfish, puffins, etc...Perfect for kite flying too. Bathrooms are near the parking lot.

My first time in the Pacific Northwest! The coast is stunning! I'm a Florida native so the beach was a completely different experience! The water was a brisk 57 degrees and refreshing to walk in. I can't wait to visit again!

Haystack rocks is super cool. It is definitely worth taking the time to go over to it. Parked in a free lot just off the Main Street and walked over and it only took a few minutes. Got to the beach and walked a little ways to the rocks and it was awesome. The weather was gloomy and rainy but it really added to the ambiance of the rocks. Would recommend.

Gorgeous and worth the stop! We parked a few blocks away in a free public lot and walked over, maybe took 5 minutes. Great for walking or playing with dogs or just playing in the sand. Or just sitting there to relax and enjoy everything around you, definitely a good spot for that.

What an amazing place! We went in January and were lucky enough to have the clouds part and the temperature rise to 50° for a few hours. The tide was also in a good spot to get close enough for a great shot. It’s a great day trip from Portland.

We visited the rocks during low tide. We parked on the street by the wayfarer restaurant and walked over to the big rock (~5 min) to where the tide pools are located. We got to see starfish, anemones, sea slugs, and even octopus. What a great experience!

One of the most magical things I saw. It was not just the rocks on the sand/water. It was the combination of the sunset sky, clouds, mist, reflections, waves!!! Oh my goodness~~ nature is beautiful! We came in November, drove almost 2 hours from Portland just to see the Oregon coast! it was still chilly and rainy. But honestly, it was totally worth it! Come during sunset time, you will be amazed. If not sunset yet, eat at MO’s seafood and chowder, you have a view of the coast in the restaurant.

First time visiting since I was young. Great open beach with a lot of space to walk and wander between rock and coastal shrubs to higher land. I especially like the “channel-like” feel that gave a sense of plaza on this natural site and wonder.

First time ever at Cannon Beach, and I got to be right up next to Haystack Rock! This was an amazing experience. Had an incredibly wonderful time just exploring and walking around on the beach with a low tide too!

One of the most beautiful places here in PNW. So pleasing to the eyes. Stunning sunset experiences every time we visit. The important beach in Oregon and a must visit.

What an amazing drive. 100% natural. If a tree falls, they leave it in place. In all its glory! There’s hiking trails in the forest itself, and a quick drive down to the beach and you have hours of entertainment walking and seeing beautiful, beautiful, pristine, beach, rock, formations, and, of course the magnificent ocean. They have picnic tables. I highly recommend purchasing the Oregon State park pass. An amazing value. And if you are a senior it’s $50 for two years. At all the state parks. Anyway, come on down to this state park it is magical. The smell is amazing! I think you’d be a great place to have a wedding.

Stunning park just north of iconic Cannon Beach with amazing views. My preferred time to visit is around sunset. You also get to drive through a really nice rainforest on the way up the hill. Oregon is amazing!

This is a great spot for beginners or even elderly/handicap people. You get a great view even just driving up. There are bathrooms right near the parking and down the trail as well. There are some longer trails but you can still get some great views from the main short walking trails. It's a short drive from Seaside and parking is 5 bucks. Dog and kid friendly as well. Come check this place out.

For a quick, scenic stop, this is the right stop. If you want to hike like we did, you have options too. The over look is an easy walk, but was quite muddy once you left the pavement. A nice view of Tillamook lighthouse is worth the short walk. The view of Cresent beach was equally impressive. We enjoyed our second time stopping here.

This beach was so magical!! First time ever seeing the pacific coast and I truly fell in love with this spot. We hiked all the way down to the beach trying to make it by sunset, and it didn’t disappoint one bit. The hike was a bit treacherous, but so worth it. The hike itself was beautiful, I felt like I was in the forest mixed with jungle! Once we were down at the beach, we were the only ones down there. We got to enjoy the sunset and beautiful views. Will definitely be back.

Ohhhh the drive out there is a thrilling one for sure, esp in my tiny RV 😳😆😳...and people drive crazy fast so be careful!!! But it has very Beautiful views, and two long hikes to the beach ( which I didn't do) all of the shorter hikes and several view points are cabled off or have warning ⚠️ signs of closure due to active landslides. Place was packed like every place else. 🤷‍♀️ Drive out was even more exciting than the drive in.😳😳😳🤗😎

A must see beautiful piece of history! Careful walking the stairs, the last one onto the beach is very unstable and steps on to rocks. If you struggle with walking make sure you have a strong hand to help you down. But after the stairs it is freaking fabulous. Walk to the right and follow the sand around the point, shallow caves to explore, a beautiful waterfall and sea urchins by the barrels on the rocks. You will find wagon wheel tracks carved into the rock up over the ocean. Enjoy it! It is a special place😄

What a beautiful section of the Oregon coast! Easy access to a large, walkable beach. If the ocean isn't fulfilling your fancy, how about a waterfall that flows right through the beach?! It's gorgeous and we enjoyed our visit!

Great spot! Beautiful all the way around with trails and plenty of exploring. It’s a must for the whole family. You could literally spend the whole day here exploring or just pick a spot and just enjoy all the natural beauty it offers. Definitely recommend to all ages!

Lovely beach with a waterfall, caves and fun rockhounding. The stairs to get to the beach from the parking lot are missing a couple at the bottom making it a big drop for short or elderly people. Go during low tide if you want to see it all. That's the only time you can get around the point. Prepare to get your feet wet crossing shallow runoff water from the falls to explore.

Dreamlike beach not -- far off the hwy 101 but somehow off the beaten path. Look to go a low tide so you can turn the northern cliff corner and be surprised by the magic of ride pools in rocks, waterfall, and assortment of crevices and caves...warning: steep stairs challenging for some, not wheelchair friendly.

Nice beach, good amount of parking spaces available. There’s rocks, sand, and a cave. We had this on our list of places to visit because the small waterfall along the ocean. We arrived during high tide so we were sadly unable to see the waterfall.

Love all the surprises at this beach and the tide pool. Went there first time at low tide yesterday, it was great to see those amazing sea creatures on the rocks and huge mussels all around the rocks. The waterfall is a bonus. Very pretty nature artwork!

Beautiful beach tucked away on the Oregon Coast between Cannon and Rockaway Beach. Parking was a but difficult with how many cars were there, but people were coming and going. Just had to be patient. This beach is huge and widely accessible. We saw folks with grills and party set ups in both directions. Lots of small stack rocks to climb on and tide pools when the water is low. Overall, worth the pit stop!

This has always been my favorite beach! There is plenty of room to feel like you have your own private beach. There are tons of fun exploration options for kids and adults with caves and a waterfall!

My 1st visit and it was a super low tide. Gorgeous and fun to explore! Plus there were rope rescues being practiced, which was also fun to watch.

Majestic hug point! Caves, rare barnicals that you can harvest. Ocean waves, sandy beaches. And a waterfall in the beach. You can't ask for anything more.

Great spot to pull over with a very short walk down to the beach. Typically, it's not too crowded. The coves and rocky areas can fill up with water quickly once the tide returns, so be smart and check the tide charts if you're going to venture very far down the beach (Perhaps before you arrive, as sometimes cell signal can be spotty). Also, I'm unsure if it's officially a dog friendly spot, but I've seen dogs there often. Please keep them on a leash so they don't get themselves into trouble. Have fun!

If you are in the area, you must stop here. Come early, limited parking. Waterfall is to the right of the staircase. We are so lucky to have seen this place!

Classic Oregon Pacific Coast beach. Fall waves were crashing. Plan your arrival to at low tide to explore more. Climb the short trail north of parking to see the small waterfall from the high bluff Note: restroom closed for season.

Hug Point is absolutely beautiful, it blew me away!! Pictures don't do it justice. There's a cool crevice in one of the rocks you can explore and there's a mini waterfall, all just a few mins walk from the stairs going down to the beach (turn right at the bottom of the stairs). BUT watch the tide because you will get wet if you don't time it right and the tide starts to come in! Breathtaking beach and nature though 😍

This is a very good place for an able-bodied person to walk down some steep steps to get to the beach and walk along the beach. We were here in early October, 2023, there were hundreds and hundreds of small jellyfish along the shore.

What can you expect more from Hug Point? It has beautiful beach, fine sand, clear water, rocks, birds, trees, waterfall, caves and lots of sea creatures... It's not just a typical pacific beach, it's more like an entertainment center to explore! You can have too much fun here and the scenery is fabulous! The beach is huge and don't feel crowded at all. We had lots of fun here and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

I walked one of the difficult trail through the rain forest. It had its challenges climbing over trees & through the tree roots. Some of the tree trunks have petrified, so awesome. The weather on September 30th is perfect. It’s cloudy but the sun shine through them.

This place was awesome , some of the biggest trees I've ever seen in my life. Take the path through the woods along the small river that leads to the ocean. So cool

Short, easy hike to a beautiful beach with well maintained and marked trails. Lots of surfers and families.

The perfect place to bring your pooch and relax on the beach. No, it's not a long walk from the parking lot--maybe a half mile. Lots of surfers.

Small beach with loads of Parking, lots to see up at this small beach but get there early or drive around looking for a place to park. Bathrooms at the Parking area and a nice easy peasy trail to the beach.

This is a wonderful beach and wooded park. The old growth forest has some very large trees and fallen logs. Mature trees grow on top of their nurse logs and stumps. The trails through the forest intersect with good signs. It wasn’t hard to find the beach or back to the parking lot; we enjoyed wandering around a bit. There were over a dozen surfers with more showing up all afternoon. It was fun to watch them paddle out and Bob on the waves while they waited for the right one to ride. The beach is protected between two headlands, and we had fun walking to the far end to see the waterfall there. It’s a lovely place. They had picnic tables and a trash can near the beach.

We visited Oswald West after speaking to one of the vendors at Portland Saturday market. She said it’s where the forest meets the beach - it didn’t disappoint! There’s parking up on the road and a short, well marked trail down to the beach. It’s just down the coast from Cannon Beach so we did both in a day.

We hiked from the trail head up to the summit (rather than down to the beach) and enjoyed the old growth, the views, and a moderately difficult trail. As it was near the end of the day in January we saw only one other family on the trail. Garmin said it was 4.55 miles round trip with 1,400 feet elevation gain (fairly steep in places) with the occasional scramble over or around massive fallen trees and root balls. With a leisurely trek up with a few stops for pictures as well as plenty of time enjoying the view from the summit it was about a 2.5 hour trek. We do some trail running and are in ok shape but the trail would be difficult for anyone who hasn't been hiking or exercising at all.

Oswald West State Park is breathtaking and a treat from start to finish. Parking is easy to access and the trail is fairly short with gorgeous views along the way. The path down to the beach is a little steep and can get muddy after the rain but you can always enjoy the view by sitting at the benches at the top. The beach also has mini waterfalls to explore/take endless selfies with. If you're looking for a romantic place to elope in Oregon, this should be on your list. If you're just looking for a place to spend the day, this is your place.

Pretty forest to walk through on the way to Short Sand Beach. About 10 minutes to the beach, saw surfers. From the beach you can hike Cape Falcon trail. We also hiked on Sitka Spruce and Old Growth trails. Walked on a swinging bridge, fun! Saw Big tree roots sticking up, all different shapes. Sept 13 it was 59° at 9am.

This was an absolutely amazing accidental find! We parked because we saw a sign saying beach access, and followed some surfers along the trails until we walked out into the most amazing cove. The walkway is wonderful, about a mile of easy walking out in the woods. Well maintained pathways take you along through beautiful forest. The beach is incredible, full of drift wood and rocks, little waterfalls rolling down the hills to the water, people surfing and returning to small fires along the edges... People relaxing, families walking, enjoying the view and the water. We hit it at sunset and could not have asked for a better place to stop.

The parking here is prohibitively busy on summer weekends, but in the off-season or as soon as you step away from the road, you won't be disappointed! Nature here is raw and primordial. The forest and the sea are in constant interplay. This place is very dynamic!

I'd like to find a way to visit the lighthouse just not see it from shore

Beautiful hike to overlook the lighthouse. It can't be seen from the parking area. It was a 2.8 mile loop with 2 or 3 spots to look out to the lighthouse. It is 1.2 miles off shore.

Came to oregon just for the Tillamook Lighthouse hike; it was a lot more uphill than I anticipated but some of the most beautiful views. Bring hiking shoes and water ;)

Unless you have strong binoculars you cannot get a very good view of this lighthouse. If this is the only part of the experience you are looking for, I would not recommend the drive in required to see it because it is so far offshore

Nice park. Easy trails to hike. Beautiful Views. On a clear day you'll get a view of the lighthouse out on the rock. Take a walk thru the woods and discover water creatures and mossy trees

Easy walk to check the coast and the Tillamook Rock Light. We just stopped by for a short walk but saw ppl having picnic there. Views are pretty, and it’s not too far from the entrance. Parking is not too bad but could be crowded during the summer. Will come back with food and some cover to sit on the grass and chill there.

One of the most wonderful places to go surfing 🏄‍♂️, play in the ocean 💙, walk along the beach ⛱ , through some of it's hiking trails.

Amazing studio. We arrived a little after 12 on a Friday hoping to see some glass blowing action. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see but the store was amazing! We left with a couple beautiful glass blown coasters. They are all so talented!!

I loved visiting this art studio! The gentleman running the studio was very nice and took time to explain the processes of making glasswork, how color is added to the art work, the chemical composition of the glass, and how different heat sources affect the final product. His work is also incredible and worth seeing!

One of my favorite places to visit. A spectacular selection of handblown glass from a variety of talented artists. I got to chat with the owner of the studio and thank him for years of enjoyment of a craft that I cherish.

Very small shopping area with beautiful pieces. Tight fit if too many people and you break it you buy $$$$ it. Most of the space is used for glass blowing. Interesting to watch. They have their own parking.

What a lovely experience. I thought there was going to be a live demonstration but I didn’t question its absence. I was captured by several pieces and multiple artists’ works. I walked away with a sea turtle coaster from Alligator Pt., FL because it reminded me of the splendor of the wild Gulf of Mexico and my years spent near those waters. I really wanted this one sister’s beadwork. I’d never really pondered how textured glass becomes to look like pottery but I questioned the technique and was amazed by some of the matte finished works.

Fine artisan pieces from many artists, and you can even see them work. I really loved the sealife theme currently going on, and those landscapes are just amazing. The one really popped with the light bulb behind it acting like the sun.

What a stunning small glass blowing shop located in my favorite town.... Beautiful collection of glass from the owners and other artists from the area... They were kind enough to show me around the two different areas where they blow glass and explain the process to me... If you are a collector of contemporary glass and craft, this is the place to go

My mother, daughter and I visited this lovely glass studio last week. The owner spent quite a bit of time talking with us and we really enjoyed the conversation. He is a largely self-taught glass artist who has been working for decades in his craft. He shared interesting facts about the history of glass and had a very philosophical perspective about many different subjects. It's a lovely place to visit and if I return to Cannon Beach I will make a point to stop in again. There are many gorgeous pieces.

Colors, patterns, and curves abound. If you are looking for an experience, I recommend visiting when this establishment is blowing glass. It's a hot business with several ovens with molten glass going but there is a plexiglass barrier that allows visitors a real close up look to the complete process. The artisans are happy and glad to share their knowledge as they work their magic. Just like any other delicate job, there are moments when they can't talk so it's good to remember that as we are guests in their workshop. They sell their pieces and those of a few colleagues as well. If you are in or close to the chemical field, do ask about how the working materials react, change and work with each other during different heating and cooling times. It's quite facinating.

We had a chat with the owner. He is very sweet and explained a lot about the glass making industry even he showed the furnace which is burning at 1600 F all around the year. This glass making skill takes years to master and has limited labor with expensive materials thus it makes an expensive incredible art form.

Such a neat little shop! The artwork and glass here is absolutely beautiful. They have a section where you can watch them blow the glass. It also gives some very nice photo opportunities. Such a great place with very nice workers with extremely fair prices. This is a must stop when visiting canon beach.

I have never seen another glassworks like Icefire. My wife and I have a vase we bought on our honeymoon that we saw created by one of the artists. They have a great area where you can watch the artists work and see them blow glass. It is fascinating to watch if you never have before. Make sure to call ahead to be sure they are blowing glass if watching is your goal. They also have many amazing pieces for sale and the proprietors are always happy to answer questions.

So cool to see such beautiful works of art being made before my eyes!

We came over from Bend this past weekend to see and hear Curtis Salgado and his band at the Coaster Theater. It was a wonderful show, made all the more pleasant by the Theater and the folks responsible for the event. The theater is small, intimate, with good views of the stage regardless of your placement in the audience. Buying tickets online was a breeze and we greatly appreciated the requirement for proof of COVID vaccination and wearing of masks before being allowed to enter. Kudos to all who made the event happen and for keeping such a nice venue operable for the residents up and down the coast. The theater is a real jewel.

Small intimate theater with small town charm. The play we watched was great! I hope to come back on our next trip to the coast.

First time attendance. Decent price for single show and yearly subscription. Not a bad line up of shows for a small community theater. Splurged the extra 5 bucks on "premium" seats, second row. Not a wise choice. Chairs are lined up even and not staggered so your view is not in the gap but straight on blocking view of stage. IMHO...any seat is good except, AVOID SECOND AND THIRD ROW seats. Great show!

Shows are put on by locals. Theater is small but very nice. Not a bad seat in the house. Seats are reasonably priced. You can buy tickets on line. coastertheater.com.

Very nice, "everything you could possibly want" in a community theatre. I especially love the homemade treats you can buy from the snack bar!

It was a fun evening going out to dinner and ending it with local Coastal Theater performance. A fun Robinhood performance. Enjoyed by all. If ever in Cannon Beach Oregon treat yourself to local performers and support the community

Very nice community theater in the heart of Cannon Beach. Not a bad seat in the house, and the seats are really comfortable. Came to see a blues concert w/ Curtis Salgado, and sound system and acoustics for such a small venue were prefect. Great show.

We always have a delightful time at the Coaster Theatre Playhouse! The staff, volunteers and actors are all volunteers. Parking is fairly easy (basically street parking or the public parking lots).

We walked by this little historic theater while we were on vacation at Cannon Beach. We ordered tickets online and saw "Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood" the next night. It was a well-done production, and we had a great time. Definitely recommend.

Visited Cannon Beach for 20 years before my first play. Now it's a must DO while on vacation. The actors/actresses are good and clearly have a passion for the theater.

Fabulous venue for community theater, great productions, comedies, musicals, suspense and drama. Also local and regional music like this annual Hoedown of local musicians. Highly recommended.

Second time I’ve been to this adorable little theater, and another great show! Not a bad seat in the house, but being right up front was amazing. It’s so obvious how much the cast and crew care about their productions. Scrooge and the Ghost of Christmas Present were absolutely outstanding! A great experience, and I will absolutely go again.

I got here around 9pm for a dinner. I got a tri-tip sandwich on a recommendation from a couple down at Haystack. The meat was a little dried out, but I did get there pretty late. I would have appreciated a little extra sauce to make up for that. Be warned that the blue cheese dressing is vinegar based. It was pretty tasty but definitely not what I was expecting. Overall, I will go back, but earlier in the day.

It's right in front of the beach, so of course it's a bit pricy. The beer paired with my soup was so good! Staff were also nice and friendly. Wanted to stay one night and enjoy their beer more.

Fairly priced food and some great brews on tap. Their raspberry beer is surprisingly smooth and not as tangy as you would think a raspberry drink would be. Their flatbreads are a little expensive, but the quality of the ingredients makes it worth it. Waitstaff and the bartender were very chill and seemed like genuinely cool people. Service was A+

The best Steamer clams I’ve ever had. The clam chowder was delicious but I could’ve eaten 2 bowls of the steamer clams on my own. I was in heaven. Our server was awesome and so were all the staff. My only regret was that I was driving and couldn’t try the beer. 😢 A great place to grab some delicious food if you’re in Cannon beach.

This brewery is walkable from cannon beach, it way too near. Its a must visit place if you are along the coastal road (US101) It requires reservations, only acceptable in person reservations. Ambience is amazing and I love their flatbread (pizzas) and I didn’t like their fish and chips since fish had a very thick batter. Rest all is good. It had both outdoor and indoor seating too. They have their own merchants and they do sell their canned brewery. We had a amazing time here and good food and good vibes. People come here and celebrate their bday and stuff and restaurant is clean and neat. There are many branches all over the coastal road, I don’t this one in cannon beach is main branch. But if you are in cannon beach then this place is a must visit. People are very welcoming and good. They addressed few of our issues without any obligation. I will for sure visit here again, hoping to have a good brewery and food again.

5 stars isn’t enough! Pelican Brewing was a 10 out of 5! The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. The food was exceptional and the cider was great as well! The entire experience was beyond 5 stars! We ordered flatbread, BBQ Burger, and a Marionberry cake and everything was perfect! Definitely a must try if you are in the area!

Doesn't take reservations but we only waited a few minutes for a table on a busy Monday evening. Our server -- Ed -- was really good and let my friend try several beers. She settled on a flight 😁 I had the Tri-tip which was just ok. My friend had a Cheeseburger and enjoyed it and loved the side salad with Huckleberry vinaigrette.

Oh what a buzzy eatery in an otherwise sleepy coastal Oregon town. We arrived in Cannon Beach at 8 on a Sunday to realize literally no dinner options open. Took a chance to dine at a brewery and we were not disappointed! First, their beer flights are awesome! Both flavor, taste and quantity - very good value for money. Interesting appetizers followed, in good portions, gastropub style. The dinner was good but could’ve been better. The fish and steak looked over cooked. The servers were of of course very friendly, prompt and had great recommendations. Overall I’ll rate this place a solid 4+, hope you have a good time too.

I appreciate a place that serves food that has flavor and flare. The service was friendly, and we were seated fairly quickly during one of their busiest windows. I highly recommend the seafood pasta for those who want a boost of organic seasonings with fresh seafood.

We arrived during the afternoon rush and had about a 10 minute wait, really not bad at all considering how busy the establishment looked. The fish and chips were cooked well, with a panko type crust it was a new take that I had not seen before. My wife got a burger which she enjoyed. There are several beers to choose from on the drink menu. Probably the only downside was our server was impaired and it showed in the level of service. He reeked of marijuana and was forgetful to the point of annoyance.

The review for this brewing was pending for quite sometime from me. I like their variety of beers and the way they present it in the samplers. Food is good. Its quite popular place to hangout for food and drinks in Oregon near Oregon beach. We didn't get the spot for the first time and had to visit next time around. Its really worth it to dine here and staff is lovely in presenting the menu. Highly recommended.

I was there with a party of 10. Everything was good. The seafood pasta alfredo was the best thing we had. The calamari was excellently cooked tender, not rubbery. The dipping sauces are very tasty. I especially enjoyed the tarragon sauce it's not something you find at many places. For those who don't like seafood I recommend the chicken picatta it was wonderfully seasoned. The Tsunami is a fantastic stout.

We walked in and requested near the window, and we got our request. We had our lunch, and it was good. We had Pork Belly Banh mi, Fish and chips, a cheeseburger, and a clam chowder. We also had fried onion rings for appetizers. The restaurant is just near the beach. At this time, it was windy and raining, and it was cold. They had plenty of parking. Our visit was on Friday, December. Our server was quick and patient with us.

Great brewery spot to stop & grab food near Cannon Beach. Their oyster shooters are big! They also have happy hour, which includes quite a few food items along with drinks.

My husband and I came for happy hour and got the burger and mini fish and chips. We weren’t impressed with either, unfortunately. The burger was pretty flavorless and the fish was rubbery. However, the beer flight was awesome and the staff were super friendly. I would come back to hang out and have a few beers, and maybe try something else on the menu.

Solid food choice at Cannon Beach. Nice to see a place here that doesn't take reservations, so you can actually walk up when you are hungry and get on the wait list. Servers are nice, and attentive as possible, despite how busy it is. Dinner on labor day is probably one of the busiest days of the year for them. Despite that, our server did his best to take care of us. Atmosphere is loud. Like really loud. But that has more to do with the popularity of the place and the fact it was Labor Day I think. Food was tasty, and we left full and happy!

Discovering Pelican Brewing Co. was a delightful experience. Their clam chowder was absolutely wonderful, and even for someone who doesn't typically drink beer, I found their offerings to be quite enjoyable. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely, relaxed conversation, this spot offers a fantastic setting. It's a hidden gem for those seeking good food, great beer, and a welcoming atmosphere.

I learned no less than five things about oregon that I didn't know before walking through this cool little place. Filled with fun and useful information and you can get a Goonie dubloom! There are rotating exhibits, so you can visit more than once.

An interesting and fun place to visit. We have been coming to stay in Cannon Beach for many years, but had never visited the museum until today. We found friendly staff and many facts about the resort. The exhibitions of artifacts change fairly often and so we shall visit the museum again when we are next here in a few months. Of course the famous cannon is there. Fascinating, and well worth the trip.

This is a free, donation-only museum in a lovely setting on a side street at the south end of downtown. The structure itself is kind of cool and historical. There is a well done historical timeline running around the inside, which shows you, in pictures and words what was going on in the world and in Cannon Beach. So, when man discovers fire, you can see what was happening in Cannon Beach. There's a room devoted to the town's annual parade, plus sandcastle days. The namesake cannon from the shipwreck is in the museum. I was a bit disappointed that many things were poorly maintained. The Spanish language audios didn't work, nor did two English audios (i.e. pick up the phone to listen and phone was dead). Also, at least one pull-out drawer containing things children would find interesting was broken or snapped back so quickly it was a safety hazard. Also some grammatical errors in the displays, but I'm picky about that. It's worth visiting and making a donation. Wheelchair access is possible... a little dicey for me both with my wheelchair van in the gravel parking lot and coming in from the sloping road, but doable.

This little museum was a delightful surprise. Cleverly presented the history of Cannon Beach as it related to the rest of the world. We enjoyed our visit very much. The only small quibble was that it was exceedingly warm in the building and made us rush to get out and cool off.

I make sure to stop here every time I visit Cannon Beach. The volunteers are the friendliest and have so much knowledge about the area’s history. My favorite exhibit is of course, Tillamook Rock Lighthouse. The museum is free but, definitely leave a donation or get a gift that’s for sale.

This is a quaint little FREE museum with really interesting local history. I really enjoyed the old photographs from the 1920s with old cars at Haystack Rock and all the history on the offshore shipwrecks. The beeswax shipwreck was particularly interesting. The museum is small and great for a quick stop to check out artifacts from around the area before heading over to Cannon Beach. I stopped to pick up a Goonies doubloon at the gift shop to use in Ecola Park just like they did in The Goonies! It's the only shop in the area that sells them.

I had a great experience with my family learning about history of Oregon and Cannon Beach.

Wasn't sure what to expect from a small, donations-only history center/museum but ended but ended up spending quite a bit of time here! Very interesting history, stories, and artifacts from shipwrecks, etc. Including the cannon for which this town is named. Might be the best $2.50 we spent on entertainment in Cannon Beach.

Cool little museum. There's not many artifacts but it does a really good job at running you through the history of the town and area. It's run off donations so be generous! Lots of reading so might not be too interesting for young children.

A small little place packed with history about Cannon Beach and surrounding areas. So cool.... I could have stayed here for hours but the family was impatient to get to the beach. Definitely want to go back to find out more about this area. The museum is funded wholely by private donations so give generously to this amazing organization.

This is my favorite of the many galleries in Cannon Beach. The large selection and variety of art should satisfy any art lover. I especially liked the bronze works of Georgia Gerber. The owner was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I asked about the artist and then asked if I could take a photo of the artist name in the store. The owner didn’t tell me I couldn’t or objected at all. When I asked about another artist and whet to document the name the same way he was very abrupt and then told me he would give me the artist name and bio then said he felt uncomfortable for me to take a second photo 😣. I followed him to the other room to get it the bio without hesitation. Then he said he’d been there 30+ years and felt uncomfortable giving me any information. The owners should have better customer service. I had no issues putting on a mask even though it’s not required to make them feel comfortable so maybe they can not be rude to customers who visit them in exchange. I have seen the other reviews of them doing this so it is something that continues to happen. Too bad as I buy artwork all over the state and support local artist. BTW, they have the artist photos on the website so I just don’t get it.

This is a wonderful gallery! Do not miss visiting when in Cannon Beach. The owners, Joyce and Bob, are very knowledgeable about art and artists, are well connected in the world of art, represent some of the BEST artists in the Northwest, and are delightful and smart people. Let them help you select something fabulous for an established collection or your first piece of great art!

Wow, sad to read that so many people had a bad experience at this gallery. My experience wasn't bad overall, until at the end when the man working there accused me of taking photos and that I should "ask next time". I didn't take any photos! I only took my phone out to check my messages. I felt uncomfortable, being monitored so closely and falsely accused. I was even thinking of buying a painting and decided to go home and sleep on it.. but the negative interaction I had with the man at the end made me never want to return to this gallery. How sad, it really is a nice gallery with some lovely art. Owners, if you're reading this: you would benefit from being nicer to your patrons.

Rude, rude, rude! I was in the gallery wearing my mask while wearing my eyeglasses that were getting foggy so I was adjusting my mask. The woman working there (she's the owner, I think) immediately asked me to leave stating rudely that it's not her job to be the mask monitor. I was merely adjusting my mask so that I could fully cover my nose and my mouth. Never coming back. I was considering buying a piece. Other gallery owners have told me that this is their reputation ... rudeness!

We wondered in and were taken by the collection and the friendliness of the owners. They spent time chatting about the artists and various pieces. We left without buying anything, but literally ran back to purchase a sculpture that I couldn’t get out of my mind. Wonderful experience all the way around. Mask up and go in, you won’t be disappointed.

The owner kicked my special needs son out of the gallery blaming him for customers not purchasing a very expensive piece. My son has autism and flapped his hands in front of the owner and she yelled at us. The owner is hateful and please avoid this place.

My girlfriend never has been to the Oregon Coast, and she loved seeing the sights when I took her here including seeing the elk

Majestic view of Pacific. Recommended for weekend getaway. You probably want to prepare your own food if you are Asians. It would be awesome to have 臭臭锅 or Korean toufu soup while seeing the view! I shall return one day! 2021.10.16

$5 to park for the day if you don't have a WA State park pass. Paved trails, beautiful views. Restrooms and picnic tables.

Great area with direct access to beach. It's about a 8-10 minute walk to haystack rock even though it looks closer. Still one of the best walkable beaches.

If you are looking for a great beach to hang out on and walk to Haystack Rock, this is the perfect place. The beach is big and covered in clean, white sand. Even on a beautiful, sunny and warm Sunday afternoon with the parking lot full the beach does not feel crowded. We found a parking spot pretty quickly as there are a lot of people coming and going. The walk to the beach is down a short flight of stairs, maybe 15 steps. There is also a wheelchair ramp so you can wheel a wagon or stroller right down to the beach. The restrooms are very close to the beach and are clean and well maintained. Haystack Rock is only about 1 mile north of the park if you walk along the beach.

A beautiful beach went around 10 am to 12 pm. Didn't seem that crowded. Hard sand for riding bikes, and dog friendly.

It's an amazing place. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to relax near the beach. Hotel's rabbits are so cute 😍

Beautiful accessible beach with perfect views of Haystack Rock. It is difficult to find accessible beach access so it was nice to find that Tolovana Beach Recreational Site has a ramp. There is a restroom on site with flushable toilets. A parking lot is available. It does get busy especially in the summer months so I recommend going very early or very late in the day for summer parking avaibility. There is a small playground for kids near the parking area. They also offer a foot rinsing station for sandy toes. Pack a lunch or visit one many local eateries in the area. This is a great beach day spot for those visiting the Cannon Beach area.

Awesome spot to chill and enjoy the sunset and sunrise 🌄 As of July 2022, I saw a brown (domesticated) rabbit lingering near the bathrooms. The furry fellow seemed friendly and not threatened by humans. Perhaps it could use a good home 🏡 🐰

Agree with prior comments. Not enough vendors. Limited stalls to visit. CB market organizer should visit manzanita and astoria farmers market events for inspiration. Summer is fleeting - act soon or summer 2021 will be over.

It is too small. The listed vendors are not all there. The farmer parts, vegetables, fruits, and berries were fairly priced and very good. The prepared items, breads and kettle corn not so much.

Amazing studio. We arrived a little after 12 on a Friday hoping to see some glass blowing action. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see but the store was amazing! We left with a couple beautiful glass blown coasters. They are all so talented!!

I loved visiting this art studio! The gentleman running the studio was very nice and took time to explain the processes of making glasswork, how color is added to the art work, the chemical composition of the glass, and how different heat sources affect the final product. His work is also incredible and worth seeing!

One of my favorite places to visit. A spectacular selection of handblown glass from a variety of talented artists. I got to chat with the owner of the studio and thank him for years of enjoyment of a craft that I cherish.

Very small shopping area with beautiful pieces. Tight fit if too many people and you break it you buy $$$$ it. Most of the space is used for glass blowing. Interesting to watch. They have their own parking.

What a lovely experience. I thought there was going to be a live demonstration but I didn’t question its absence. I was captured by several pieces and multiple artists’ works. I walked away with a sea turtle coaster from Alligator Pt., FL because it reminded me of the splendor of the wild Gulf of Mexico and my years spent near those waters. I really wanted this one sister’s beadwork. I’d never really pondered how textured glass becomes to look like pottery but I questioned the technique and was amazed by some of the matte finished works.

Fine artisan pieces from many artists, and you can even see them work. I really loved the sealife theme currently going on, and those landscapes are just amazing. The one really popped with the light bulb behind it acting like the sun.

What a stunning small glass blowing shop located in my favorite town.... Beautiful collection of glass from the owners and other artists from the area... They were kind enough to show me around the two different areas where they blow glass and explain the process to me... If you are a collector of contemporary glass and craft, this is the place to go

My mother, daughter and I visited this lovely glass studio last week. The owner spent quite a bit of time talking with us and we really enjoyed the conversation. He is a largely self-taught glass artist who has been working for decades in his craft. He shared interesting facts about the history of glass and had a very philosophical perspective about many different subjects. It's a lovely place to visit and if I return to Cannon Beach I will make a point to stop in again. There are many gorgeous pieces.

Colors, patterns, and curves abound. If you are looking for an experience, I recommend visiting when this establishment is blowing glass. It's a hot business with several ovens with molten glass going but there is a plexiglass barrier that allows visitors a real close up look to the complete process. The artisans are happy and glad to share their knowledge as they work their magic. Just like any other delicate job, there are moments when they can't talk so it's good to remember that as we are guests in their workshop. They sell their pieces and those of a few colleagues as well. If you are in or close to the chemical field, do ask about how the working materials react, change and work with each other during different heating and cooling times. It's quite facinating.

We had a chat with the owner. He is very sweet and explained a lot about the glass making industry even he showed the furnace which is burning at 1600 F all around the year. This glass making skill takes years to master and has limited labor with expensive materials thus it makes an expensive incredible art form.

Such a neat little shop! The artwork and glass here is absolutely beautiful. They have a section where you can watch them blow the glass. It also gives some very nice photo opportunities. Such a great place with very nice workers with extremely fair prices. This is a must stop when visiting canon beach.

I have never seen another glassworks like Icefire. My wife and I have a vase we bought on our honeymoon that we saw created by one of the artists. They have a great area where you can watch the artists work and see them blow glass. It is fascinating to watch if you never have before. Make sure to call ahead to be sure they are blowing glass if watching is your goal. They also have many amazing pieces for sale and the proprietors are always happy to answer questions.

So cool to see such beautiful works of art being made before my eyes!

My husband and I stopped by White Bird Gallery on our honeymoon this past summer and fell in love with the Steve Eichenberger crows and the whimsical little rabbits. (We came home with both.) We had a fabulous time talking with the owner, who was familiar with our hometown in South Dakota. But not long after we got home, our crow was damaged by someone visiting the house, and I was devastated. Unbeknownst to me, my husband contacted the gallery and they sent so many photos of the remaining crows at all angles so he could choose the perfect one--and shipped it out to him immediately. (We still have Edgar; he's just a little worse for wear--and now Oscar keeps him company.) We highly recommend the gallery for both the people and the outstanding art selection.

Cannon Beach is an amazing destination on Oregon's coast and the White Bird Gallery is a wonderful place featuring Northwest artists. There is something for everyone and every budget. This is always the first shop I visit when I get to town. Frequently, artists will hold informal workshops at the gallery, usually on a weekend. I have been able to meet two of the artists whose work I have collected. Watching them create their art is amazing. I recommend signing up for the gallery's newsletter and taking advantage of these opportunities.

A wonderful collection of art of all styles and mediums. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to visiting the next time I am in Oregon.

This is arguably the only reasonably priced art gallery in Cannon Beach. Really loved the art here! I believe I interacted with the shop owner who was pretty friendly and happy to answer the 800 questions I had. There are no original paintings here, per the owner, but the prints they had were phenomenal. I purchased a print that was already framed and they put the wire on the back for me and shipped it to my home in Texas. I believe the shipping to Texas cost me $20, which is a steal, and they packed it super well. There’s no way you could’ve broken the glass frame in the box it came in even if you tried. Would gladly recommend anyone visit this gallery.

We spent close to an hour trying to decide what we wanted to buy; as soon as we saw the photographs available for purchase we knew we had to pick something. There are lots of choices with tons of variation (similar photos taken in different light, black and white vs color, etc) and the prices are extremely reasonable. Definitely not the typical tourist shop with the same generic products.

I'm really happy with my artwork! I purchased a framed painting on my last visit to Cannon Beach. Shipped to Louisiana with no problems, and it's going to hang in my room so I can look every time I miss the beach.

Visited last week and bought 3 pair beautiful sea glass earrings at reasonable price. Wish I'd bought a 4th for friend's birthday. I'll call today and maybe they will mail to me. Also the woman at register was very friendly and even recommended we go to Ecola Park to see beautiful vistas such as the ones she had framed in shop. We did go & it was wonderful. I completely disagree with the negative comments here. If you're nice people will respond in kind. Late update. I did call and she kindly took photos of all the sea glass earrings and texted it to me. I bought more and she kindly charged me only a small shipping charge. My friend who turned me on to Oregon loved her birthday gift!

My wife and I have been going to the shop since we met 25 years ago and have a few small pieces around our house but always wanted a 3 piece set Now we live on east coast but I stopped in a couple of weeks ago to purchase a 3 piece set for our 20th anniversary Great service, shipping was done without any issues and we now have a wonderful Cannon Beach view on the East Coast

Really interesting shop that sells a great variety of usefull items. I actually needed it for picture frames, but other then that it's a cool store, with two other locations on the coast. They also play Patsy Cline in store which you have to respect.

Found some great post cards I wanted. Loaded up. Went to check out and the lady behind the counter could not be more bothered. Really Curt and felt like I was bothering her. Won't be back.
