This is such a fantastic place!! They have so many different things to see and do. I love that they offer a lot of free options so it’s a great place to take kids too. We saw a musical, Into the Woods. It was absolutely perfect! The set was high quality, the cast was beyond expectation, and the music/lighting was without flaw. The intimate nature of the theater makes for a even better experience. They offer food and drinks as well. Outside of the performance, we love all of the art, inside and out. If you get the chance, go see a show or even just stop for a visit. We can’t wait to see the next production!

Quite the busy, community place. Lots of stuff going on here at the same time. I attended an author's symposium that had the auditorium full. There was a live play being performed in another part. There was a snack and refreshment bar upstairs. There was a sculpture display with a video of the artist creating it.

Primarily here for the amphitheatre, work visit on a concert tour. An unpretentious and uncomplicated outdoor performance venue that celebrates art. It was a pleasure working with the local crew and staff. A very community centric vibe. The grounds host a few sculptures, alongside The Sculpture Garden located in an adjacent meadow. There is a peaceful pond with ducks and aquatic life.

Needs more maintenance and perhaps a side walk. Art is great and insightful. Worth to visit but needs improvement to make it more inviting. I'm sure that the artists will appreciate having more visitors enjoying their creations.

This is a wonderful community venue for a variety of art centered projects and performances. Go see a play, a concert an art exhibit or other. Take a class and learn a new skill or practice an old one. Enjoy a summer concert in the pavilion or stroll the grounds and enjoy the outdoor sculptures. Arvada has a wonderful center for all the above, the staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Go experience what the hav3 to offer today.

This is a wonderful multi-use arts center. There are several areas for installations of artist exhibitions. There is a live theater and classrooms for everyone young and old alike in various art forms. Many of their exhibits are free to attend, and the classes range from acting/dancing to visual arts and film study. It is truly a treasure in the west metro area!

My daughter has been in various dance classes there for several years. Just completed a dance recital this week. Great organizers, teachers, staff and volunteers. They seem to really care about their students. It's a great venue too. Several dance rooms, and great auditorium.

Was there for the Mozart Under the Moon concert. Claud Shim was amazing as the violin concert master. Bought general admission tickets where you sit on the lawn. I would recommend sitting at the top or the bottom of the hill because it has a decent slope and blankets just make you slide down and stadium chairs require something under them to stay level. There is plenty of parking. I would recommend parking below row D because everyone exiting the concert will be blocking traffic. I moved my car closer during intermission and made that mistake. Also be sure to bring bug repellent.

Wow what a performance by the cast of the year of the frog and toad. We took our granddaughter for 2nd grade of SkyView Windsor and we really enjoyed the performance I know it was directed at young children but the wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. Kudos to the cast

Cinderella, a musical, had a modern twist on the classic. Soo well done, beautiful costumes, great singing, ensemble added the polish, music was terrific, scenery excellent! Awesome show!

What a show they put on for the Frog and the Toad. We loved it and the kids all loved it from 6 up to our 15 year old niece. Great volunteers great facility. Big pottery studio and wonderful art gallery. Thank you Arvada center.

Always look for the new art exhibits! It's great that you can purchase some of the art that is in the gallery. We've got several things that we will always cherish. Have enjoyed return visits many times over the last year. Their art exhibits have really been amazing. Current exhibition of JeffCo high school student art is amazing and well worth a visit. We had to go twice to see it all!

My favorite venue in the Denver area. Great acts, accessible ticket prices, and close, easy parking. Food is a bit limited, and you have to line up for food and beverage separately because they are two different vendors. But you can pay up for covered seating or pay less and sit in the grass. The Gras area is better than Fiddlers Green because there are steps and hand rails, so less people walking around and over you. Great sounds at a reasonable price with less overhead than most other venues.

Great time while visiting. Can't wait to go back for another show.

We love the dance program and classes offered here as well as performances. This is a great asset for families in the community. Registration can be cumbersome and some instructors could use more training, but overall great!

Hands down my favorite author. This has been on the bucket list and it doesn't disappoint. Another post whined about not having as many cars as they felt they should have. I don't know about the rest of you but I only have three cars so anything over three is a huge collection. Anyway amazing collection in that they all drive and they rotate the non book related cars yearly. They throw a battery and fuel in them and drive them around. Not many car museums keep them all in running condition. God bless Mr. Cussler, I'm bummed I never got to meet you but I thank you for the years of entertainment and adventure.

I visited the Clive Cussler Museum today and enjoyed it immensely! Each vintage car is its own work of art. So many beautiful designs, colors, and engineering with an abundance of chrome! I also saw an electric car from the early 1900s. Never knew such a thing existed. Big time good time!

As a fan of Clive Cusslers books, this is a MUST SEE! The building is tucked away, but the interior is well lit and well organized, while the staff are wonderful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Each car featured on the back of a book has that book in front of it.

The secret & hidden automobile museum. This is a family run operation that the late author Clive Cussler created, you can see the fully functional automobiles that he wrote about in his books, these vehicles are maintained by the "on site" mechanic in the "on site" shop. Some of these cars are 1st place concours d'elegance car show winners. The admission is Low Cost, the museum is only open at specific times, and if your lucky you can talk to one of Clives daughters or the mechanic about the cars, the museum and the stories behind the books.

Like many visitors, I was a fan of the man before I even knew he had a museum for his incredible car collection. While Mr. Cussler now spends nearly all his time at his home in Arizona, the majority of his collection is here at the Museum. Whether or not you are a fan of his books, if you like beautiful cars, you'll enjoy a visit here. The staff is very friendly and the cars are well kept and each car has a descriptive card posted nearby that explains the significance and history of the car.

If you’re a gear head and looking for a car museum definitely check out the Cussler Museum. This place has so many cars that I’ve never seen or heard of before. Be sure to check times if they’re open. They also rotate the cars once a year. A couple breweries in the area you can stop by after too.

The Cussler Museum is an excellent car museum with superb examples of automotive history. If you are not familiar with author Clive Cussler, check him out. The museum contains around 60 (?) cars from a collection even larger dating from 1909 through the 60’s. Each car has been maintained and driven and displayed. The small entrance fee for an adult is only $10 and well worth it.

A very cool collection of well maintained classic cars. I was told that they only have about half of the collection displayed in the museum and they change it around every year. It is definitely worth the trip if you like old cars.

I love this place SO much. Staff friendly, seriously amazing wine (I’m picky!)- I have a ton of favorites especially the reds. Cab, cab franc, Syrah, grand view reserve, Rocky white. Lovely atmosphere as well and they added outdoor seating just over a year ago. I have a wine club membership- I adore this place and I have been coming for years.

What a wonderful winery! Our bartender was so knowledgeable and helpful in picking out our assortment of wines. Such a wonderful charcuterie board and we loved all the wines we tried. While I tend towards white wine and my friend tends towards reds, we both were in high agreement about how lovely the dry rose and syrah were. Thanks for a great time!

Beautiful atmosphere, great service, and lovely wine. This place is always my go to when every other place is very packed. Unfortunately they have a limited selection on food but the charcuterie boards are nice… so if you’re hungry maybe this isn’t the place to go, but if you want a relaxed vibe with good drinks definitely come here!

My wife and I were blessed to stumble upon the Silver Vines Winery. We had Mark as our server/ bartender and he was a master of his craft. We immediately felt welcomed. What was supposed to be a quick stop turned into an evening of a wonderful time. The atmosphere is amazing. We will definitely be returning customers.

The atmosphere is warm and cozy and had great service! We loved getting recommendations and chatting with the kind bartender who was extra helpful setting us up with a letting room in the back for our small group. It was a great place for a fun evening meeting.

Has a get decor and fast service. Typically there’s also some seating outside and they have an extra room that you can reserve. The selection of wine is limited but I would still put it at the top. Easy access Street across from the main parking in Arvada. Why are there check out the close shops and other food places, They even had live music.

Great small winery. Very warm and cozy. Fast and friendly service. The wines were very good. I had a chocolate red wine which was delicious. They also offer meat, cheese, and dessert boards. Dog friendly.

This place is mellow as all get out. The atomosphere doesn't feel too snobby or uptight, either. Like, if there is a place to try wines and didn't need the high-class judgement, it is definitely a place to go. The wine here is also pretty good. They even let us have the left over green dye from St. Patty's to match my wonderful green skin! Awesome! Definitely try the Rocky Red or White when you're there, sweet intro into wines they have.

We’ve tasted wine all over the world and I’m a big Cab fan. With just moving to the area we decided to give Silver Vines a try and picked up a bottle. HORRIBLE decision! $50 and it tasted like a $5 bottle of cab. Over priced and has no flavor what so ever. Not sure if it was just a bad bottle or cork but will not be going back. Would suggest to get your bottle elsewhere, plenty of other good options in Arvada that offer better quality wine for a much lower price.

Quiet Park with a neighborhood draw. Fantastic "majestic" view of the front range, adjacent to wetlands and a pond. Small nature center museum and demonstration gardens provide educational context. Easy access paved trail.

I had an opportunity to attend a meeting at the Majestic View Nature Center and discover what a great venue it is for get togethers. The center itself is a nicely maintained building with meeting rooms and kid friendly displays. You are surrounded by incredible scenery and great paths to get out and investigate the area. It happened to be a snowy day while I was there and the Willow Room was a fantastic meeting space. There is a fireplace surrounded by large windows that gave a wonderful view of the winter scene outside. I look forward to return visits to see how each season displays its best at Majestic View View.

Majestic View park is a great place for a short walk (about 1 mile) on a paved trail where you can observe bird species, meditate, have a picnic and enjoy the nature center.

Been on the Majestic View path a few times, finally walked all the way to here. Took like 12 minutes from the parking along 72nd, lol. It was closed when i was there, but so look forward to going back. Beautiful area, well planned, well maintained. Love the gardens with regional plants that have placards giving there names. The water feature is a really nice touch.

It is a wonderful place to go in the mornings but it is a beautiful place to enjoy the sunset with your dog! I did not actually visit the center, just walked around the park…

This was one of my grandmother's favorite places to walk and enjoy nature. We spread her ashes under a tree (with approval from the center, of course) and it was lovely.

I had a great time with my dog here. They had paved as well as gravel trails. There were shaded areas to sit and a large pond with tones of birds and other wildlife. They also had other amenities. There were a lot of people but it didn’t feel packed or too full plus everyone was nice and several times I was greeted with a smile and nod. 😁 highly recommend park with something for everyone.

Stumbled upon this little gem by accident. Such a pretty area and awesome place to take kids! There were activities and displays for all ages to enjoy. And best of all, it’s free! (Although I’m sure they would graciously accept donations.)

As a gluten intolerant person, I’m always grateful when breweries have a full menu of options so I can join my friends (and they don’t even have to think about it)! They have a full bar, delicious cocktails - some fun choices too The food was alright, we got nachos and the cheese tasted a bit like a powder mix? We asked and they said it wasn’t, but it was just a different cheese experience. Definitely shareable size! And tasty even with the different texture of cheese. Would definitely go back. The atmosphere was chill, people playing board games and someone had their dog there. Great spot!

I went in around 4 or 5 on a Monday so it was pretty quiet but the bartenders were friendly and attentive. They even indulged me in ordering a cocktail, the Sidecar, off menu. Food came out crazy fast and was good, a solid hamburger. I'm honestly not a huge beer drinker so was really happy to have a few non beer options and the cocktail was very tasty. Heads up Google has some outdated menu info so the website is best to determine food options. With being in Olde Town and just off the train line I'll definitely be back!

Came in for some fresh local IPA. The beer was awesome, the staff was friendly and helpful, the place was clean and welcoming. We ordered the Southwest Nachos, they were great, hot, fresh and tasty! Can't wait to come back to New Image Brewing. Both locations are good!

Been here for about 10-15 minutes. Still haven't been helped. Usually the food is really good. The service as well. I usually don't review a place til I've been a few times. Worst service is tonight. Some people just walked in and were greeted before us. She just took menus out to the as well. Maybe were the wrong color... we walked out. Update, we went back tonight to give it another shot. Pretty empty inside when we arrived. We were greeted immediately by 2 people. One guy and a new girl, which was only her 2nd day on the job. Her name was Rachel, according to the receipt. She was excellent in every way!!!! Good enough I brought my original review from 1 star to 4 stars. I hope you are fortunate enough to get Rachel as your waitress like we were. New update. The food menu has changed. They got rid of about 75% of the old menu. The burgers and fries used to be really good here! Im not one to complain about the price for food if it's good. There are better burgers and fries out there for the $17.00 you will pay here. They were good but no longer great.

Fantastic brewery. Their Dyad series is always on point, and the passion fruit one on tap right now is particularly excellent. The pork green chili fries are the perfect complement to a flight or pint, and there's enough to share for two! Great staff and classic craft brewery atmosphere.

We’ve stopped here a couple of times and always had a good experience. There is a bar area and tables inside or if the weathers good a little patio out back (dogs welcome.) They serve food as well as delicious beer. We liked that there were new beers on draft each time we went.

Solid little brewery in Arvada with a cozy feel and a strong lineup of beers on offer. Food menu is a little small but features a creative variety. Our house nachos were okay, the queso being a little lackluster compared to a place like Torchy’s Tacos, and could maybe use a little extra something to get me excited about it. But the service was great and overall the visit was a satisfying one. Next time I’m in Arvada I’ll give them a second go, for sure.

I came her after an afternoon of river tubing in Golden. The pizza and the cheesy breads were good but not great. The brewery was nice but didn’t offer soft drinks for kiddo’s, however there is a water dispenser that serves warm room temp water.

Went here for lunch and a beer. Food: They made a great double cheeseburger (smash burger). The patty was crispy and charred on the edges while being juicy in the middle. The bun was toasted inside and out so it didn't become a sponge. They have great crispy fries. Bad fries drive me nuts, just put a little extra effort in and it goes a long way. New Image puts the extra effort in. Beer: I had the Phunny Pack, which was one of several IPAs they offer. It was refreshing on a hot late summer day. Service: Bartenders were friendly and eager to answer questions. They bring your food to you and make sure you have everything you need without being overbearing. Good job! Setting: we sat outside at picnic tables which works for me. The regular picnic tables don't have umbrellas, but there was a large tent in the alley. I wasn't sure if that was shared by with another restaurant though. The inside it pretty straightforward tables and chairs. Not fussy, very casual.

New Image has definitely become one of my favorite breweries in the area. Beer is on point and their food is off the charts too. Very happy they respected all the CDC guidelines for COVID-19. I didn’t mind waiting 30 minutes at all. The staff is also very knowledgeable, friendly, and takes care of the customer. Will be coming back for more beer!

Loved New Image, some of the best beer I’ve had in the Denver area. Fantastic selection lf IPAs, great sours (double maceration was great), large outdoor dog friendly seating area, very friendly staff. Didn’t try their food but looked good (wish they had more vegetarian options).

Perfect place to take kids to appreciate nature. You can find an abandoned fox den, observe various birds, plants and animal tracks. In the spring, milkweed and monarch butterflies are everywhere! Also, many frogs and cattails. Portable toilets on site, easy parking lot, perfect field to bring a picnic.

Quiet nice place to walk and relax after a busy day... it also offers some cool photo opportunities.

Feels weird leaving a review about a park but I stopped by in the middle of the day on a weekday and it was locked? No notes about why or numbers to call. No other way in so I just left and went to another park. Understaffed maybe?

Beautiful nature preserve with views of the mountains. There are many different paths or trails to choose from. There is also a pavilion (just built) that has picnic tables. It's beautiful in the fall time with all the foliage. The trails have some inclines, but overall not too challenging. Love all the open grassy spaces too. The river is also nice. It was actually pretty clear when we went. Wild asparagus grows on the sides of the paths in certain areas. Can't wait to come and check it out when it's in season.

A nice wildlife refuge to visit in an urban area. We visited on a late Wednesday afternoon and parked at the shared parking lot with the medical suite at the corner of Kipling St and W 80th Ave. The refuge is split into east and west sides. The west side is mostly prairie with a looping trail. On our way to the east side of the park, we saw a muskrat and mallards in the Croke Canal. The east side has trails around the two ponds and more prairie where we spotted rabbits and numerous birds. There is a portable restroom on the trail near the east side parking lot. The tank was nearly full, out of hand sanitizer, and didn’t have an updated service record knocking my review down to 4 stars. The hours for the two sides differ: East side is open May thru September Tuesdays thru Fridays 8am-4pm and Saturdays 8am-7pm; West side is open year round from dawn to dusk. A fun place to walk around to escape the city.

It's stupid. It would be nice if you would tell people that your entrance is closed after September. Why do you close a NWR to the public anyway? Good grief. The part that is open looks like it could be a brownfield or superfund site - there's nothing there! This place must be a joke.

A low key, industrial park brewery. But they have pinball, arcade games, and skeet ball. Fun crowds. A decent selection and variety of beers (18) when I last went. Not a ton of seating inside. Overall a good atmosphere of people and beer.

This Someplace is a work in progress but has a great vibe in its infancy because they have fun, have a vision, and make some good beer. I had the vanilla porter. Yum. It doesn't have a moniker but I would suggest Dark Marilyn because it seems like Monroe if she was a brunette: sweet but powerful. There's a lot of Star Trek/Star Wars getting into the decor. Fun stuff. And they have some vintage pinball machines and skeet ball. They've got a trivia nite, open mic nite, and comedy nite. Just a fun vibe.

This place is awesome! The beer is wonderful (haven't tried them all, but most) and the people are friendly! They have a room full of pinball machines and skeeball that only costs a quarter. Honestly, what more do you need?!

I cannot believe I live just up the street and I have never been until now. I go to a ton of breweries so its weird I never went. I thought it would be empty at 2 on a Friday but it was not and it was hopping by 5. Most social brewery I have ever been to and that is saying a lot. I talked to all kinds of people with a bunch of WI people in there. Very friendly and cool with real regular type peeps. Funky industrial kinda area old school little brewery. Beer was solid. Also can get cheap taco truck next door with $99 taco Tuesday. And to top it off lots of 80s arcade games with lots of pinball. Outdoor area. Can bring dogs inside. Secret gem.

What a wonderful selection of games outdoors they do fundraisers for dogs. What a wonderful place. You can drink inside or outside. Definitely could use more parking spots. The owner was very nice when we had some quarters that got stuck in one of the machines. Everybody seemed very helpful.

This is my favorite brewery (Bar-cade)!. They just expanded to include more pinball machines AND more skeeball! Dog friendly and more importantly friendly staff. Food available here and also a delicious taco truck. They also have comedy nights, craft nights. Game nights…Highly recommend!

Very pleasant place. Family and pet friendly. Pinball and skeeball. Only food is little 6" pizzas and popcorn, but there is a taco truck right next door. Would give them 5stars if they had more food, but can't blame them for not wanting to be a restaurant. Update: they've added more pinball and pretzel bites. It's a bit louder, but still a great place.

Stumbled into this place with my dog wondering what the vibe would be like. Wednesday is apparently “Euchre” night and every table was full of people playing cards. I felt jealous that I was too late to get into the action (also have no idea how to play…). The beer was good, the Star Wars mural made me smile, and I’m excited to come back to play pinball sometime soon. In case you’re wondering, it’s good vibes. Highly recommend.

Ended up being a cool place for a wedding I attended. I enjoyed the different vehicle displays and the museum. Only problem was it did not have to best temperature control, kinda hot.

This is a really cool venue and event space especially if your a gear head.

This was the venue where I had a Fundraising event over the weekend. It was very clean and enjoyed working here. The only issue I saw was that the place was set up in a "L" formation which made it difficult for me to see all attendees there. The sound system was in great working order and I will be glad to tell coordinators that this would be a acceptable place to hold their Fundraising event.

Awesome events center run by great people/ staff. Multiple areas inside the facility with really cool collections of many different types of vehicles to include cars, motorcycles, pedal cars, mopeds, golf carts, etc. and lots of memorabilia and neon signs. Various areas nicely decorated like the Coca Cola diner, barber shop, gas station, nice sized bar, and definitely worth seeing the museum collection. Great catering choices and again the staff will do an excellent job taking care of anything you need.

Our company holds events here regularly. The location is easy to get to, the staff is fantastic, and the classic motorcycles are fun to look at. It's usually pretty cold in there so if you are going to be in there for a while, bring a jacket.

What an awesome time we had, our guest loved the venue. I felt no stress having our wedding there and the event was great. It's a open spacious fun venue, not stuffy and boring. So happy we did our celebration here instead of a hotel or other location.

First time in on Thanksgiving day, and the experience was very good! The IPA’s were very well balanced and easy drinking. Customer service is excellent in addition to the no kid policy haha Below image is the “Here Today”

So here’s the thing. While not advertised most of the beers are gluten reduced to less that 20 part per million. It’s still sketchy for celiac’s but fantastic for gluten free folk. On top of that, the beers are awesome and there is always something new to try. The food trucks are drunk food quality and the service is friendly. If you’re looking for a quality neighborhood brewery, this is a special and reliable destination.

We had a flight of beers. Our server was helpful with our selection. Beers were so tasty that I took a case home. I’d come here again if I was in the neighborhood.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate a brewery with a 21+ policy. There is nothing worse than grabbing a beer after work only to hear someone’s kid screaming at the top of their lungs next to you. Incredible vibes, finally feel like an adult and not a playground attendant. Also, more importantly, great beer. Wish more places would adopt this policy - they’d have my $$$

Took me way too long to try this place considering I can take the Ralston Creek trail over. Really chill old school brewery spot with good people. Tons of dogs real homy Midwest atmosphere. Red Rye IPA was delicious. Cool events and food trucks. For sure visit.

My new favorite brewery! Met some friends here at their suggestion and was pleasantly surprised to see 21+! This is a welcomed oasis for childfree folks! Also, super pet friendly and AWESOME beer (which is what really matters)! Finding a great sour wins my business anytime. Plus cheese curds and a ring game?!? What more can you ask for!?

One of my favorite local spots to grab a beer or 6-pack. Bartenders are all super friendly and the environment is laid back with decent food trucks. And not having kids running around screaming is one of the reasons I tend to choose this spot over others.

Excellent selection and fantastic customer service. The blackberry sour was magically. The gone tomorrow was such a smooth ipa with a punch. I loved it!! 😍

Thank god there's one brewery in the area that doesn't allow kids and is 21+. Not only is the beer good, the employees nice, and the vinyl nights fun; but I can enjoy all of this without the sounds of children screaming. Not sure why people want to bring kids to a place that serves alcohol and doesn't have anything for kids to enjoy, but I'm so grateful Odyssey doesn't allow anyone under 21. Will definitely be coming here more regularly as I've only had good experiences!

Jordan was a great conversationalist and a phenomenal beertender, offering up solid advice and samples to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. The beers were fantastic and diverse, featuring complex yet distinct tasting notes. Highly recommend a flight prescribed by Jordan. And it looks like Odyssey is pretty active with creating unique and fun community events, which is cool. The brewery is dog friendly (although not kid friendly, I’ve heard), but it’s a tasting room and brew pub, not a food slinging family restaurant. It comes with the territory. I wish these guys the best, and maybe someday they’ll be able to expand and have a kitchen of their own. Until then, come for the beer and the community.

The atmosphere inside was a great vibe and it was exciting to see how many activities they offer throughout the month. I was very impressed with the collab beers they have too!

We’ve frequented Odyssey for a many years now and also frequent many other breweries in Colorado. The beer is consistently great and Odyssey employs extremely friendly staff! If you haven’t made it by in the summer their patio and events are wonderful! Anything from the “fluffy” series is on point! Finally, THANK YOU for remaining a no-kid brewery! This is hands down a huge, huge benefit. For the readers who disagree, I promise your kids will thank you later in life for being a responsible parent and not brining them to a bar as a child… Cheers!

Super cute little park set up like a train station. Clean play area, covered tables and small charcoal grills.

My 9yo likes this park, but liked it better when she was younger. She still asked to stop there every time we drive by.

Lovely, new-ish park. Super clean. Love the variety of playthings and the unique train motif. I was super excited to hear what a new piano station is supposed to sound like, but this one seems to be missing the bells that play the notes. Just an unattractive KLUNK with each key. Also, no shade here, so get here early or on a cool/cloudy day.

This is a great little park for the kiddos, it's clean, it's big there are plenty of little things for kids ages2-10 would definitely enjoy, there is a little trail to ride a bike and a horseshoe pit we enjoyed it!!

Great family park (walking age toddler) minimal shade. Would like to see another awning built. On street parking. Small walk. Wood chips instead of sand.

This is a clean and beautiful park. The kids ride their bikes around, fly kites, and search for awesome bugs and branches. There is a small stream passing through and a cute little bridge. There is not a restroom at "Train park" so make sure you go potty before you head out! You can also enjoy playing basketball or horse shoes.

There’s only about 10 parking spots, no restroom…. Otherwise it’s a good place for an around the lake walk

Great fairly short walk around pond. Has a playground for kids towards the other end of the park. Lots of geese which means a lot of goose poop in grass. Just across the street from echters nursery which is really big and weekends they have a hamburger and hotdogs stand.

It's was perfect for my senior dog to walk around a few times. Nice looking park minus the homeless people in the Subaru in the parking lot.

The park is very nice. Has a big pond that people fish out of. Lots and lots of ducks.

As the usual Colorado's beauty is contaminated by the non other then human race. It's a beautiful little spot. However as the evening went on, the vibe around the park became clandestine. I finally left because I no longer felt very safe. No picnic tables or restrooms but in hindsight, probably a good thing.

Beautiful neighborhood park, perfect for a quick jog or to walk your dog.

We had our 6 yr old daughter enrolled for all of 2 months. When we were late on payment a second time, we called to make arrangement, and to also ask about how payments work if she missed classes. They refused to call us back. On the 4th call, we asked for them to please take us out of their system and un-enroll our daughter from the class. After the 5th phone call (and still being ignored), I decided to take my complaint to the BBB. Upon doing so, we were promptly refunded our months fee and our daughter finally taken out of their system.

We were very impressed with the facilities, but found leadership, teaching and ownership to be woefully lacking. Our daughter was taking several classes with Shadowlight and was looking forward to her performance. We then found out that her dance teacher had berated the younger children in class to the point of tears because of the actions of a few students. We set up an appointment to speak with the owner regarding this incident. When we arrived for the conference we were greeted with a secretary and a 17 year-old dance teacher. Despite the fact that the owner, with whom we had scheduled the conference, was onsite she simply blew off the meeting. We then found out that during classes students were being forced to do push ups as punishment for poor behavior or performance during class and were also cleaning bathrooms in the facility. At our daughters request, we kept her there until she could participate in the performance. We were stunned at the show. It was nothing more than emotional pandering coupled with messy, poor choreography interlaced with video clips of a "homelsss" child sitting in the streets of downtown Denver. The show was then followed up by an e-mail from the owner lambasting the younger students for peeking out from behind the curtain during the show. It went so far as to call it "Dolly Dinkle" behavior on the part of the children. I guess it takes one to know one because Shadowlight Theater is the epitome of a Dolly Dinkle dance company.

If I could give one star I would. There were 4 open courts not close to busy. We came trying to teach one couple to play basic pickle ball. We weren’t trying to play a full game but figured since it was completely open one lesson wouldn’t be a big deal. A old lady who was very much a Karen complained and the same worker who let us in kicked us out no questions. Did not even let us speak. We tried to explain that we were just trying to teach the couple the rules because they were interested. The old man need to retire and stay retired. The old lady who complained needs to mind her business. She has nothing better to do but complain about some young kids trying to do something fun and innocent. Tell them both to take viagra and find some happiness minding their own business

There are plenty of courts here and they are properly maintained. This is a great place to host tournaments for tennis with indoor and outdoor courts! They also host food trucks in their parking lot occasionally.

I'm deeply biased as my son played (and coached) there for 3 years. He will play in college next year and we can easily attribute credit to Apex for this milestone. One of the nicest, beautiful and welcoming tennis public facilities in Colorado. Tournaments viewing (outside courts) is unparalleled. Great coaching staff. The downside is that during winter the courses for junior are waaaaaaay over crowded, but this seems to be a Colorado issue... Still, an easy five ⭐.

Really glad we found this place! They have 4 indoor courts and 8 outdoor courts. The indoor courts get booked up really quickly, and the outdoor courts can be too when the weather is nice. We especially enjoy the 90 minute drills, they are a great way to get lots of hits in and meet some tennis folks! The drills are usually a 6:1 ratio of players to pros, and involve a variety of tennis mini-games/drills. In my experience, the drills have less of a focus on form/mechanics and more on strategy, especially doubles strategy, which I appreciate. All in all, the only negative would be how tough it can be to get court time, but that’s only because it’s such a great place to play tennis.
