My experience was amazing. This was my 1st time ever rafting. The staff was friendly and informative. They show us our safety guideline prior to our ride up to the rafts. Our guide James was very great. He was knowledgeable about was needed to keep us in the boat. Also you get great photos of our experience.

This is the best white water rafting tour around!! We have now gone a few times and every time has been an incredible adventure story lol. Shelley is the best guide ever hands down! But all of the guides there are amazing an experienced. You feel excited and safe and having fun all at the same time. They start out by giving you an intro class and teach you how to do the paddles etc. Then you board the bus and ride down to the entrance at the river. The lunch they serve is pretty good too and they even offer a veggie option. There is also a really fun part before lunch where you swim and float down the river. The water gets colder as the season ends, we went the second time on last day of the season. But what an incredible ride.The first time we conquered the Godzilla rapid was unreal and the second time too. If you stay on the raft or if you flip you will be well prepared and it will be an adventure of a lifetime. We cannot wait to go back next year! They also take pictures the entire time so you have the option to buy one or all of them at the end. Team Kenny!

Candace was a great guide with lots of experience on the river. She took us through the rapids making my boat of novices feel like pros. High Country was great to deal with on the phone (called them instead of booking through Groupon) for my party of 9.

Me and my group thoroughly enjoyed our time. We went after 3pm which seems is the best time of day for the rapids. Our guide was Dean and he was spectacular. He's a lead guide and knows all the great rapids and key spots in the river. He also know many tricks with the raft that made the experience that much better. He also had great conversation and kept the first timers calm yet brought them out their shells. I highly recommend and ask for Dean!

Went here for one of my good friends Birthday and we had an amazing time. I had never been water rafting before this time. The event was crazy. The water was exactly what we needed it to be. I plan on going back for my birthday!

This was my first time whitewater rafting, and I can 100% say that I loved it! The staff there were super welcoming and friendly, and they all had a light-hearted, upbeat attitude, and definitely made the whole experience that much better! After a scenic drive to the dam where the rafting starts, we met our guide and learned our commands, and this began our trip down the river. I won't spoil the trip, because I definitely think you should do it yourself, but just know that it is definitely worth it. Also, quick shout out to some of our guides, TC Lee, Jack, and Hannah!

Family adventure day was a success! Everyone had a fun day and enjoyed rafting on the river. Our guide Howdy was awesome. Definitely will recommend this place to friends and we will be back. So much fun!

I have not had so much fun in forever! This weekend was my first experience in white water rafting and we did the full run - Upper and middle. We had ‘Gale Force’ as our guide and things couldn’t have been more perfect. We also stayed in the cabins - if you’ve not done this you definitely should. Lots of room, clean, very convenient, and the views are amazing. Best part? No TV. 🤪. Thank you for an absolutely amazing adventure. I could not think of a better way to spend my birthday!

This was the best whitewater rafting trip I have ever experienced. Our guide was Nick (Harp) and he was an expert with us. He gave flawless directions & delivered 100% when we asked for max adventure! When we flipped in a rapids, Nick successfully managed to rally everyone back into the boat before maneuvering us out. I am used to having boring & uneventful trips down the river but WOW if I could have detailed everything I wanted to happen on a trip, it would be this one. Thank you so much Harp ! You’ve redeemed whitewater for me - & We absolutely loved you!

I had the most incredible time white water rafting. We had a big group & some were rafting for the first time (naturally apprehensive). TC Lee was our instructor & he did an amazing job from start to finish. He was funny, engaging, & super safety conscious while giving us a ton of thrills! Im looking forward to next year!!!

We took a family of five and had a fantastic experience on the middle part of the river. Sydney was our guide and we could not have asked for a better person to take us down the River. She was kind, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable. I trusted her to keep our family safe, but also to give us a great time together.

This is my first white water rafting trip, plus I can't swim. I have a tremendous amazing experience wanting to do it again. Our raft leader is Shelly. He is awesome, very experienced, and so is all his raft mates. My friends and I we have the 5 hours trip it included lunch regular burger or veg burger. I wish I had a go pro camera. Ocoee River scenery is amazing.

This was my first time white water rafting and it was so much fun. Our guide T.C. Lee was very nice and treated us with care. He was very knowledgeable about the River and the many different names of the tides and rocks. I would definitely do this again

Really enjoyed today's trip with friends and family. Our guide Justin was very fun and knowledgeable about the rapids and we had a good run down middle Ocoee. I have done this section of the river many times and always enjoy bringing new people with me.

This is our 4th time with High Country. The place is top-notch. The guides are always excellent. White-water fun at its fullest. We did the middle Ocoee class IV. Our two daughters ages 12 and 14 went down this river for the first time, Mr. Pink made sure to keep us safe and kept the fun rolling. We will be back agian! Our daughters haven't stopped talking about how much fun they had. They are ready for some Class Five with Pink!

We love Outdoor Adventure Rafting!! We have been coming here every year since we first started whitewater rafting. They have the absolute best guides and staff! We always have tons of fun and feel completely safe because of how womdeful the guides are. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Also, they are all hilarious and will have you laughing the entire time! Our favorite guides are Hayden and Cleveland. They are so fun!

Rafted on 7-10-23 with my family. We have done rafting before in Colorado and have always enjoyed it, but this was the best time ever. The river is great because of constant action, and our guide Jon was phenomenal. We took the more adventurous line on a number of the rapids and then would go back and surf some of them. He was constant energy. We got to the last two rapids and he asked if we wanted to take the road less traveled, noting that you could get tossed from the raft. We chose that and all five of us went for a swim. It was awesome. Highly recommend. If you can get Jon, you will have the best time.

Highly recommend for rustic camping, whitewater rafting, and tubing trips. It’s a quiet place to camp which I love. Sits right on the lower Ocoee and has great tubing trips for people with young children or who want a relaxing day. They also offer Middle and Full river trips if whitewater rafting is your style. They have trips running every day the river is on for tubing and whitewater rafting. They have a large campground great for camping off grid, tents, or car camping. Lots of hot showers, and ample restroom facilities. Nice store for tshirts, memorabilia, and snacks. If you prefer a cabin, they have plenty of those, and specialize in large groups. Family friendly environment. Outfitter was taken under new ownership a little over a year ago (female owned 💕) by a prior employee. The improvements to the facilities and equipment in a year are commendable and I highly encourage visiting this outfitter. If you go rafting request Dirty Mike 🥰

David was our guide yesterday & he made the experience sooo fun! From the time we stepped foot on the property til the end of the adventure. Highly recommend this outfitter! I'm sure that all of the guides are great, but our guide Brett is amazing! He really knows his stuff! Highly recommend asking for Brett when you go ... you'll be doing some fun tricks in the rapids that you may not necessarily get to do with other guides. You'll get to practice "surfing" on the downstream of some rapids, "bull ride", spins, etc. Brett is very personable and hilarious..... he really works hard to see that his guests have fun. Brett and this outfitter are very safe ... thorough safety briefings and instructions, and safe equipment in excellent condition.

Fantastic experience! We camped out and then did the middle river section the next day. Great price and a great company. Our guide, Tito, knew the River super well and was able to provide us a unique and thrilling experience while keeping us safe along the way. This was my second time using OAR- they are the best!

I camped at OAR for 7 nights over a two week period. Their accommodations are fantastic. A quick walk to the bathroom & showers make camping a joy. They have several cabins, but I was camping. I was impressed with their Guide's knowledge and rafting skills. As a first time White water rafter, I was at ease with their captains at the helm. I did more than one trip. OAR has access to a great location just below the dam, for tubing. On my relaxing day, I tubed down with a group. I saw several groups, churches, schools and familys tubeing while I was there, everyone having a blast. I also used my paddleboard to launch at that same spot to go down river. It was fun , not too rough, and beautiful. This will always be my first stop as I leave Florida for fun

It was incredible!!! The experience was safe and fun and very beautiful. Our guide - Jon Hall - was amazing. Super nice funny and he did lots of cool tricks. I definitely recommend requesting him if you can. I will definitely be coming back.

This was my first time rafting and it was fantastic! We had Tyler as our guide and he was phenomenal! Funny, entertaining, knew what he was doing, and overall a great guide! We did the all day and I totally recommend it! Lunch was great, everyone was super nice and helpful! Definitely recommend and hopefully will be back in the future!

My nine-year-old daughter, and I had scheduled to float down the river in a tube, however, the weather didn’t cooperate. Even though the temperature dropped and it was raining, Tyler made our experience very enjoyable. We were able to float down the river in a raft instead of a tube, and they provided dry vests to help keep us warm and dry. Tyler was super positive the entire time and even helped keep my daughter entertained with her videography skills. Tyler has a lot of knowledge and experience on the river and I would highly recommend him for as a guide for any whitewater rafting or float down the river.

Memorable day on the Ocoee River with OAR. We had a great time and got to experience some giant rapids. Our guide knew the river well and kept us safe, while also picking the right lines in the water to catch some intense rapids. My favorite rafting trip so far.

We had a wonderful time tubing! I'm horrible names, but I believe one of the kids said our guide's name was Sarah. Anyhow, she was awesome! She had a great sense of humor and they all did a great job of making sure we avoided obstacles along the river. This was only our second time tubing, and we had a few children(ages 10-15) with our group this time, but we were able to relax more knowing that the guides were there to keep everyone safe.

My wife and I went on the 5 mile trip with my brother and sister and spouses. We had an absolute blast...we will be back! The guides were all fun and informative. We had Sam as our guide, he was great. We all felt safe with him guiding us. Next time we're probably going to do the 10 mile paddle, thank you OAR and staff for a great day on the river!

We had a fantastic tubing adventure with Sarah yesterday. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient as she helped our little group down the calm river journey. My senior citizen mother had hurt her wrist earlier and couldn’t paddle well, and Sarah was great with bumping her to keep her on track. From ages 10 to 68, all three generations loved this tubing excursion!

My friend raved about the experience, and I had high expectations going in. The front desk treated me like a lifelong friend, and I felt super excited about the rest of the day. We loaded on the bus and the guides squeezed in for the 30 minute ride. Instead of relaxing, they entertained, engaged, and made us feel important. To me, this was going the extra mile that sets them apart because small details matter. The river was raging, gnarly was the word we heard often, and our guide, CAVEMAN, beemed with experience and a desire to make sure we were having a blast. He didn't disappoint! There wasn't a moment I didn't enjoy and that included being thrown out on "Slice and Dice." I left feeling I have friends for life and a new returning trip for my family.

Despite the delay of traffic observing the Ocoee River, the adrenalin of the Family was with mixed feelings for this year's family adventure. However it was FABULOUS!!!! Ages 21-82. Our wonderful guides were Aaron & Katie. Both of them are extremely talented and knowledgeable about the River and surrounding area. In addition the entire staff of Cherokee Rafting are amazing. The facilities were clean and the showers are Warm. What we thought would be the Last annual family Rafting adventure now has all of us considering the possibility of having Aaron & Katie taking the family on the Full Ocoee River Adventure. The Oldest that stated "Last Rafting Adventure " beforehand is now changing his decision on The Last adventure. Words can not express how much attention to details the staff takes to insure your family safety and of course MEMORIES of your amazing adventure on the Ocoee River. Cherokee Rafting and staff again THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE AND ADVENTURE.

Had a great time on the full river trip with guide Kat. There didn't seem to be much difference in reviews between rafting companies so chose this outfitter partially because of the 8:00am start time. We were done, clothes changed and leaving by 2:00pm, making it possible to get back to Memphis after finishing the trip. Be prepared to spend another $15-20/person for tip and about $55/boat ($10-$15/person) for photos. Photos are taken from the right river bank, so put the photogenic members of your crew on the right side of the boat and then have fun!

This was a PERFECT adventure!!! Our guide Ezra was fantastic and the trip and scenery were beautiful. A great mix of fun and adventure and some thrills. We enjoyed this so, SO much…. Highly recommended!

I have to say it was awesome . . We did the last 5 miles almost 3 weekend's ago . . We decided to do the whole 10 this past weekend. . 3 of us went we got paired with a husband and wife . . We all clicked right away . . Jordan was our guide for the 10 mile ride . . She is a wonderful instructor. . Clear spoken and cut up with us the whole way . . Ben was out guide for the 5 mile ride . . He keeps ya laughing to . . They both did there job to the T . . All laughter aside . . The food on the 10 mile was surprisingly good . . FYI . . Get the wrap it don't designate like bread dose in soggy fingers . . 4 kinds of lunch meat and shrimp, watermelon, Cookie's, good sweet tea to . . I just can't praise them enough . . God blessed us with this outfit of rafters . . Thank u and can't wait till next summer . .

Such an amazing time! Our guide Cam, was the best! Very patient and a great coach along the way! Our trip was to be for 6 people originally but we ended up inviting over 30 people to come. We all will be back again!!

We went 3 years ago and it was awesome. Just spent Saturday with my family on the full river. What an experience, loved every minute. Guides were skilled, knowledgeable and fun. Both trips have been with Cherokee. We'll be back.

I took a crew of 6 friends for a full day rafting event. We had a wonderful time, and had enough time left in our day to get home for out of town at a reasonable hour. The trip: the day consisted of a training video, bus ride to launch, rafting and a bus ride back to Cherokee rafting. She helped him stay on cadence with his paddling, ensured he was properly situated in the raft and demonstrated more patience and kindness than we could have hoped possible. LOVE this experience! I first did rafting with Cherokee 7 years ago & just did it again this past week! They have swim shoes, merch, sunglasses, all available for purchase before or after your trip as well, which we took advantage of! We had Madeline as our guide and she was fantastic as well! Will definitely use Cherokee again next time we're in the area!

Was part of a group that went and honestly, I had no idea of what to expect as I've never been white water rafting before. Our guide Dustin Woods was great, very informative and kept it exciting and safe. The facilities are excellent with lots of room for customers to change or drain before the drench. I highly recommend AU!

Everything was amazing at AU! We stayed in the Bear’s Den with 7 adults and had an absolute blast. Our full river raft guide was Trey and it was my first time whitewater rafting, he knocked it out of the park and is a wealth of knowledge. We planned a day trip of rafting for my son's 18th bday. We had Keira as our guide. She was wonderful! We had so much fun and made great memories as 5 out of the 6 of us had never been before. The staff in the office was friendly and helpful too. Also, the photographer took tons of photos for each group! We are very pleased and We definitely plan on going back.

What an awesome and exciting experience! From the minute you pull in you just feel a very cool vibe come over you. The campsites are spaced out enough to have you a little privacy but still close enough where you can get to know your neighbors. The rafting was phenomenal, in my group we had some very experienced rafters and some that it was their first time on a raft.Trey was our guide and he did a great job making sure we knew the smart way to do things and made sure everyone was comfortable with any extra excitement that the water had in store for us. Everyone had a enjoyable and super fun trip, with everyone saying that we would be back to do bigger and more intense rapids next time. 10 outta 10 I recommend this to anyone in the area. We came from South East Georgia, practically Florida, and we will definitely be back with more friends! Oh and make sure ypu check out The Bus for awesome food, drinks and live music!!

Our trip to Adventures Unlimited was wonderful. We did not come to experience the adventure of whitewater rafting. Instead, we came to enjoy the accommodations and the beauty of nature. We stayed in the Haystack Bungalow and were extremely pleased. The bungalow has a great sitting area outside to visit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The inside of the cabin is just like a hotel room with extremely comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay at Adventures Unlimited and will certainly come back again.

Adventures Unlimited was amazing!! The Staff was super nice and accommodating for our group! This was a first time rafting for our kids and it didn't disappoint! Our guide, Dana, was extremely knowledgeable and insightful on the area with lots of nice little history tidbits! He made us feel safe while having the time of our life! This was my first time to go white water rafting and I must say that it was AWESOME !! The staff was comical and very experienced about rafting. Our guide, Frankie, did a superb job getting us down the river without incident, has years of experience and very good at what he does. I plan on going again next year and will definitely use Adventures Unlimited again. I would like to do the full upper and lower Ocee raft trip next time and no fear in doing so. I've heard no complaints about the other guides and I am sure they are all very qualified at what they do ! I highly recommend Adventures Unlimited for a weekend of fun and relaxation in the Smokey Mountains !!

We had so much fun on our whitewater rafting tour! Our guide Daniel was excellent, and everyone in the office was wonderful and welcoming, too. The photos the staff took of us on our trip were amazing, too! Also loved the bar and grill on the campgrounds, perfect for some after-rafting snacks. 10/10 and would highly recommend Adventures Unlimited.

This was my first white water rafting experience and it was fantastic! The instructors were informative, funny, and passionate about their work. We had the pleasure of being guided down the river by Lin. She was INCREDIBLE! I would recommend this place to anyone interested in white water rafting. It was a family friendly environment. I would go back again!

We booked online and upon our arrival I wish we had booked a camping spot as well. It’s a great location, spread out and quiet despite being close to the road. There’s a bar and grill on the property, sand volleyball court, and the bathrooms are equipped with restrooms and separate showers. Our guide was Connor, he was a good guide and made the experience fun and memorable. The only complaint I have if any is that we had a boat with some teenagers who were more focused on talking and screaming at every splash of water. I’m used to the guide placing the more experienced paddlers up front and back. All in all it was a good trip and would recommend them.

By far the best experience over all. My wife and I took our 14 year old white eater rafting for their first times. Our guide was Pink. He is a whole mood. Taught our daughter how to guide the raft. Such a great spirit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The energy was amazing and the water was beautiful. Great people, great vibes, 10/10. We WILL be back because this staff is TOP NOTCH. Not to mention the bus driver..He drove so amazing I felt MORE comfortable driving the mountains in my own vehicle after riding with him. It was awesome. Just do it. You will not regret it. I visited for an Ocoee rafting trip and camping. I must have lucked out and gotten the best guide, because Sarah was amazing! The lines she took us down were perfect, and when we wanted to surf features, she knew how to get us onto the wave and spin around into front, side, and back surfs. She was a lot of fun, and kept us all safe too. I highly recommend her. I tent camped after the rafting trip. I was a little concerned before I got there about the idea of an on site restaurant/bar, but it wasn't an issue. The property is large enough that even with a live band playing, it wasn't loud near the campsites. Plus, it's nice to have food options without having to drive anywhere. I hear from fellow campers that the grilled cheese was a wonderful snack before hitting the water.

The whitewater rafting was so much fun! We did the 1/2 day trip and it great - fun rapids but some still water to swim. Would definitely recommend. And ask for Big John for your guide. He knows the river so well and talks you through all the rapids.

I absolutely love staying here ! Spot 14 is my favorite! The folks in the office are always amazing and i love gong to the bus bar and enjoying the music. Never had anything stolen and never seen any drama. Just a wonderful family atmosphere and clean

Jimmy was incredible! The best guide we have ever had. This was our friends first rafting experience and she was happy screaming the whole way down. He made it so fun not only for her but also the rest of us. He made it an experience instead of just a trip. I know he helps with other aspects of the business but please keep him guiding.

I rented a campsite and pitched my tent. Great location. Plenty of spots for a tent and trees to hang your Eno. Jules the manager is awesome - I forgot my pillow and she loaned me an extra they had. Good food and drinks at the Bus so you don’t have to drive anywhere if you don’t want. The bath house was simple but very clean and is all you need. Now they do have live music some Saturday nights I think, but they stopped at midnight when I was there. I enjoyed it but if you want a little more quiet late night on a Saturday then maybe not the spot for you. But wasn’t loud at the campsite area as band is on the other side of the building. A great place overall and more than I expected, and I’d recommend it to anyone needing a spot to camp. Plus hit em up and let them take you rafting down the Ocoee while staying with them and save driving to other outfitters!

Had a fantastic trip today with our group of 6. Andrew was a great guide, gave us a fun trip, and added a few good challenges. We were able to swim & float in the doldrums section and the water felt great. This is not a coasting ride; you do have to work, and you will get wet. This was a fantastic family memory. Highly recommend. This was not our first trip with Quest. We will keep coming back.

This was by far the best rafting experience we've had. My advice try to go within a few days after it has rained a goof amount. The water is higher and flowing better. The guides were great, there's showers, there's a little restaurant right on site that actually has good food. Everything about this trip was good.

Big John and the other staff at Ocoee Expeditions made our White Water Rafting trip a blast! The desk staff made the booking process easy, they were always available and willing to answer any questions we had, and made check in a breeze. The restrooms, changing areas, and showers were well kept and clean. Their cafe was delicious and exceptionally priced. All of the guides were very friendly, enthusiastic about their job, and entertaining. They made sure safety was their number one priority and having fun their second. Big John was our guide. Being very experienced and knowledgeable, he made our trip one to remember! He made us laugh, helped us hit some wicked waves, and went out of his way to give us the best rafting experience he could! I highly recommend booking your next trip with this company and suggest you request Big John for your guide!

Top notch outfitter!! Christina ( our guide) made sure that we all had the best time on the river! We hit every rapid right down the middle and even went down backwards a few of them ( not sure we were supposed but it sure was exciting)! Highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed!

This was the first time on the Ocoee for some of us and a trip that started with nervous tears ended with us all wanting to do it again! This was way over our expectations and Rick was an absolute blast! He kept us safe, calmed our fears and made sure we had plenty of fun! 10/10 would recommend and would go again! If you go, ask for Rick to be your guide!

Ocoee Outdoors is top Notch! Observing other outfitters on the river, our guides seemed much more experienced. Jon was amazing, he gave us an incredible ride, all while educating us with the knowledge we needed, just in case we had an "out of boat experience" He was fun to hang out with for the day, and also taught us a-lot about the Ocoee river and the beautiful area. We would highly recommend this family run business… and definitely ask for Jon, Casey, or Ashely!

We have rafted with Ocoee Outdoors twice now and it has been amazing! My first time last summer I was very nervous, but Eroc was a great guide who made me feel safe while still getting the most fun experience on the rapids. This year our group went with Casey and Ashley who were also incredible guides! They were both very experienced and fun. I love that this company gives you the chance to go down a water slide and even swim during some of the smaller rapids. They really are the pros, valuing safety while making sure everyone has a really awesome rafting experience. We will definitely be back!

We had a spectacular time. Took the middle Ocoee trip, and Casey was our guide. As an experienced guide, Casey was able to navigate us through the Shoals without getting us stuck or flipping our raft. No-one fell out and we had a blast. Would have liked to try surfing a couple more times. We received great instructions. Easy to follow Casey's rowing commands. Super, super fun!

We had an exciting time. Our guide CASEY is the "Dude" you want, fun loving hippy mountian dude, that loves what he does. Could not have asked for more. The team at Ocoee outdoors is amazing.

What a Great day! Our guide Bryce was exceptional. He has a keen sense for safety not only for the people in his raft but for the other rafts as well. He was very informative about the river and the area. With that said this trip was not on my bucket list but pressure from my wife forced me into it. Glad I did! It was a great trip! Bryce stopped the raft twice. Once so we could jump off a large Boulder and the other to swim down the river. It extended the day on the river. One last note. This outfitter is next to a little barbecue trailer called Big Mike’s barbecue which had an outstanding barbecue sandwich. Give it a try as well.

We come here for the scout troop annual river rafting adventure - keep coming back. The facility has ample, safe parking, all the equipment and boats are in good condition and the bus is clean. Each boat takes 2-6 crew/towers plus the guide at the back to steer. The crew/guides are great, good instructions before you start (get in the water ). Since it is white water rafting, you have to pay attention, listen for their instructions, letting you know when to row, to ensure a safe and fun ride down the river. We do the upper and middle Ocoee which is about 15 miles and takes 3-4 hours - with this option you could have a lunch included. The kids have a blast; the adults too - when you get back to the facility, you can buy the pictures they took of each boats crew and guide. ( you can look at them on the screens, but buying them all is better) Super fun!

I had not been down the Ocoee in about 30 years, having moved away from Tennessee. So I brought my teenagers and they loved it. My daughter says she wants to do it every time we visit. Ashley was our guide and she was awesome--personable, funny, informative. She really made the trip fun. The photos are a bit expensive, but we bought them anyway. Loved every minute of our float.

What an experience! Our journey went smooth and great from the second we walked into the door. We were greeted by Kip who was very kind. Our guide was Ky and he was truly amazing. He was very knowledgeable, professional and funny. Joe also tagged along on our trip and he was very sweet. Today was our first time white water rafting and definitely not the last. Brit was a great guide! Very reasonable prices for a super fun day on the river. Would definitely go here again! But more importantly: Go. To. Big. Mikes. BBQ. After. Your. Trip. ! One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my whole life is right down the street! You’ll smell it on the bus ride back from rafting. Go there. Don’t even think just go. So so so so so good!

We had an amazing time with this company. While we were on the river we saw a lot of other boats from different companies and the river guides for most were…questionable. Joe and Spencer were crazy knowledgeable and loads of fun. We had a blast and will definitely go with them when we hit the Ocoee again!

The staff here is excellent! So friendly! Joe was our guide, and he was top notch! He was training someone, the day we went, and just to hear his knowledge of the waters, was amazing to hear, I knew immediately, we were in the right hands. It was my first time, white water rafting, and he absolutely made our trip a wonderful one! It was safe and a blast! He even talked us through how to “surf” in our raft, and we did it! The owner of Cascade, hand picks his staff, and it’s for this reason, that sets Cascade above the rest. I originally booked with Cascade because the owner was from my home town, so I was supporting a “local”, but I am so glad I did, because looking at the other rafts with other guides from other companies, on the River, around us, it only looked chaotic. Meanwhile, on ours, we were laughing at Joe’s jokes, and well prepared for every thing that was coming ahead of us! That’s how it should be done! I will be back!

The entire journey was perfect. From the smooth bus ride to the location to the water rafting itself guided by an amazing instructor (Cherokee). It was the best experience my family and I could’ve had for our first time. The workers were very professional, caring, and funny. Hope to visit again for another ride!!

They have some of the friendliest & fun staff who are truly a pleasure to be around. They also make the most out of the trip and ensure a very fun and interactive ride!!! It was also very evident that ALL of the guides at Cascade are very experienced, knowledgeable, and safe compared to the other guides from some other companies. And…this review wouldn’t be complete without giving a HUGE shoutout to our guide SPENCER!!! He was an absolute blast to travel with and was the best part of our rafting trip. It was our first time rafting, and Spencer was a great teacher and guide, listened to our wish for some serious unique fun, and absolutely delivered while being so friendly the whole time. If you can get him as your guide, I 100% would recommend him - you will not be disappointed!! If my review isn’t convincing enough, just take a look at the smile on my face - says it all!!!

Cannot recommend highly enough! We have taken multiple trips with Cascade and every one has been better than the last - all the guides are awesome but we are partial to Dakota who has given us several amazing rides down this beautiful river. We go more than once a season and each time is fun, different and we can't wait to go again. Already planning next seasons adventures!

My fiancé and I had such a phenomenal time with Joe! He was a blast and one of the best parts of this rafting experience. Tons of knowledge and really made us feel safe. It was so crowded with just two ppl in it we couldn't move there was product everywhere she needs more room and order. She was rude as hell too and don't have anything for real practioners. Neat little shop! Lots of very high quality handcrafted gifts, and it smells wonderful in there! Diane was 'busy as a bee' packaging handmade items for customers, but she graciously took the time to give a few tips to a frazzled new beekeeper! The artisan wildflower honey is delicious!!

We came in to just get some lavender honey and left with some lovely soap, chapstick, and a beautiful candle. The lady there was really really nice(I didn't catch your name I'm so sorry) and she was really helpful. All of the soaps and candles smell lovely, and the different honeys tasted amazing. I 100% recommend the Lavender honey 💙

I recently visited the bee farm with my daughter, and it was an amazing experience. The store had numerous items I had never seen before, the owner was very patient and answered all of my questions about honeybees and beekeeping, and we got to see a working hive. The owner let us sample several of her honey flavors. There were so many different honey-related products that we will need to go back to try the rest.

A nice little place with a good variety of product that is produced locally and reasonable prices. In addition to our personal purchases we also purchased two assortment boxes as Christmas gifts. There is a good selection of non-honey-related products available. Discounts for vets is also available.

Excellent honey as well as handcrafted soaps, balms, lotions and other products. Diane is knowledgeable and friendly and sure loves her bees!

LOVE the honey butter! The cinnamon, raspberry, cocoa and honey mustard are all fantastic! I use the cinnamon in my coffee (good for your brain). The cocoa tastes like tootsie rolls! Love love love this place!

Really excellent little shop with homemade goods made from bee products. The family that runs the shop are very kind and ready to inform the public about bees and their importance to our society. It was an absolute pleasure to visit their shop and I left with a healthy amount of honey made from local wildflowers. If you're interested in finding local honey or learning more about bees and why they are important, give this little place a visit. Don't be intimidated by the driveway, it may look like a private drive but follow the signs and you'll be there!

I had a wonderful experience with Ace! I found they did an excellent job of creating a relaxing and safe environment while also making sure you are learning the fundamentals. I would recommend at least two days. We spent day one covering some basics and day two was more implementation. In my opinion trying to really grasp everything in one day would have been too much for me but if your schedule only allows one day you will still learn a ton. I spent one day with Joe, and the next with Savannah and they were both wonderful. If you have the chance to get different instructors between days I would suggest it. This gives you a chance to hear things explained in different ways and really maximize what you can pick up from Joe and his team. If you are looking for a good place to learn, this is it.

Did the 5 day white water kayaking class and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Joe and his team know exactly what they're doing, and by the time they're done with you, you will too. Really good combination of pushing you to do better, and making you feel safe and comfortable. Really cannot say enough about them. Everyone we came into contact with assured me I was in great hands, and that Joe, specifically, was THE best around. Additionally, every time we were on the river and someone was in need, they were willing to lend a hand. They're just good people, and great kayakers. 10/10 definitely recommend

I wanted my two sons to learn correctly and safe how to begin their whitewater adventures. I set an appointment with ACE on July 6 2020 for the beginners class. They were spot on time, with all our gear for the day sized correctly. We spent about 5-6 hours of learning and having a blast. The only thing that my boys didn’t like was they didn’t get any instruction on rolling which we just run out of time. Joe, the owner of ACE told us to come back on a Thursday for the free roll teaching/practicing day. I was a little hesitant about driving all the way down there again for a group setting, but it was very important for my boys so we went on a Thursday evening. Joe spent almost the entire time working with myself, and my two sons on rolling technique. He taught us the C to C form and, both my boys where rolling great within the week. I can’t say enough about the treatment my 14-year-old has received from the staff at ACE. They were just as excited to teach him as he was in learning. I was very pleased with how they conduct their business, and very satisfied as a customer. I would highly recommend for any skill level, and for families. Thanks Joe & ACE staff! This was my first introduction to whitewater kayaking and I am so happy to have chosen Ace. My friend and I took a private weekend lesson with Nick, who was such a great instructor! He did a great job of keeping the experience fun while also teaching technique and occasionally throwing us tough challenges. As our skill level improved, he catered the lessons to keep up. With his past training as a paramedic and his many years of kayaking experience, he helped us feel safe and confident on the water. Ace instructors are very well trained and you could go as far as you like in this sport with them. Highly recommend for beginners looking to get a taste of the sport through expert paddlers looking to improve their skills.

I’ve been “kayaking” since 2015, but I’ve only been KAYAKING correctly since July 2020 when I started working with Ace. Do yourself a favor and go to Ace first – that way, you can only develop good habits. Everything is client-centered – they take the time to tailor everything to you individually and figure out how you learn best. After paddling for a while and not progressing, I finally decided it was worth it to invest in Ace. They are worth EVERY penny and more. Joe and Josh have helped me meet so many of my goals and they’ve been incredible in helping me break my bad habits. They’ve taken me from zero to Class III in 5 seconds and really built up my confidence in this awesome sport. Don’t go anywhere else for your kayaking needs – they may smell funny, but you can trust that they will get you where you want to go. I can’t wait to see what these guys have in store for me in 2021.

I took a day of private instruction from ACE, with Josiah as my instructor on the Hiwassee. I'm 46 years old and a kayak newbie. My goals were to get some professional instruction before I start developing bad habits and poor technique, and to improve my confidence and control in the boat so I can relax, go with the flow (literally) and have fun on the river. ACE was very professional throughout the process, and they were prompt in replying to my questions beforehand. Josiah was outstanding; giving a student constructive feedback while still making sure they have fun is not an easy thing to do, and Josiah was excellent. His approach to getting me in the water, getting a feel for what I did and didn't know, and explaining what I needed to work on was smooth. Josiah was really good about periodically reviewing concepts we had done, and then setting up for the next thing we'd do. He sent me home with drills and techniques to work on so I can retain what he taught me. But above all, he made sure I learned a tremendous amount while having a great time. So, 5 stars for ACE Kayaking School. Highly recommended. I will be seeking more instruction from them (probably a roll clinic) in the future.

My husband and I had never realized that there was a big difference in whitewater versus flat water kayaking (and being from FL, flat is all we had done) so we wanted to get some good base level instruction before we hopped on the water. SOOO glad we picked Ace. This place was recommended to us by a zillion people, people who have no stake in them so they were just from-the-heart recommendations. We had our lessons and they were fantastic! We had Jake as our instructor and he was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and cared about our learning experience. He took his time in explaining concepts, asked us about how we were feeling to make sure the pace was proper, etc. It was a wonderful overall experience and I recommend it to anyone looking for beginner all the way up to super crazy high level stuff, because these guys know what they're doing. Thanks Joe and Jake, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We had the best time this past weekend with our guide Isaiah Brown! It was our first time rafting the Middle Ocoee River and we had a blast! It was crazy fun and an adventure we’ll never forget! My 13 year old and I can’t wait to do it again next summer! Also we had the best photographer, he was our bus driver too and met us at every big rapid to take pictures of us! Everyone at Ocoee Paddleboarding & Watersports was great!

My first time rafting, and it did NOT disappoint ... the bar is now set incredibly high. Our guide (Travis) was incredible. He shared some rich history about the river and area, did well to read his audience and make sure we all had a great time, and scored 100 percent in communicating properly on the rapids to help us understand and execute the proper moves. Can't wait to go back!

Had a blast!! Wilson was an amazing guide.He was very knowledgeable and skilled. He provided music for the ride and snacks and drinks. Plus, he let us bring our cell phones, smokes and vapes. We rafted the upper (Olympic) and middle ocoee. I have rafted with another outfitter in the past, but ocoee watersports is the best. GOOD PEOPLE!!Will definitely do it again!

My group and I really enjoyed the more intimate experience with being the only patron rafting group. Isaiah and the others were very welcoming and fun, the vibe was rustic and felt very appropriate for the outdoor activity; Ocoee Watersports is definitely a favorite when it comes to white water rafting!

This was awesome! Luke was a great guide, he knew the river very well and was having as much fun as we did bouncing around on the rapids. It was my first time rafting and I went on the 5 hour trip, and was totally worth it, loads of fun, catered lunch on the shoreside, the girl who checked me in (Im so sorry I didn't catch her name) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the whole experience and very helpful answering any questions I had. Steve, the bus driver, was also great. The 30 min bus ride to the rapids felt like I was on a guided tour bus as Steve was able to share tons of great information about the Chattanooga area.

We had a great time with Ocoee Waterssports. The team there was professional, on time and they were very through. Our raft instructor Will was, the best. He was entertaining and he was very knowledgeable about the rapids to ensure that we had an enjoyable, yet safe experience. We will definitely be back.
