Great experience both ways and a must for Jamaica. Glad I read the reviews about how busy the immigration area is. Greeter met us off the plane and took us straight through security/immigration. Felt like proper VIPs whisked passed the massive queues. Luggage took a while to come through so we didn't get much time in the arrivals lounge. Managed to have our first (of many) rum punches and a sandwich while our greeter went to find our coach transfer. My only niggle was the greeter, she wasn't particularly friendly and didn't engage in any real conversation with us. The departure experience was fantastic. Once we'd checked in our suitcases it was straight through with fast track security, a quick look at duty free and other vendors before heading to the lounge. We were shown to a table, drinks order taken and helped ourselves to the hot buffet. Jamaican patties, spicy wedges, fried chicken, pasta. There were also a variety of sandwiches and fruit as well as tea and coffee. After eating, we settled in a quiet lounge area with more drinks until our flight was called around 90 minutes later.

Near Gate 12 on airside. Easily accessible since the airport is small. The staff is very courteous. Service is great. Not crowded on a Sunday noon when I visited. The foods are better than most domestic American lounges. Seating comfortable. Great place to relax while waiting to board.

This is the one thing one must do for departure from Montego Bay Sangster airport. Expedited security and customs. Good place to chill with a drink and light meal. Well worth the money.

I love Club Mobay! The fast track through customs and immigration is awesome upon arrival. The atmosphere, food, drinks and service in the updated Club Mobay lounge for departing flights makes the wait at the airport in Jamaica so much nicer! Ricky, the bartender I had this time at Club Mobay was so friendly, entertaining and gave me great Jamaican service!

I got to experience Club Mobay Departure since it was included in Costco Travel package. It was a great experience! We always have to go the airport early (3hrs ahead of your flights). So, most of the time, we spent too much time around the gift shops or laying around the waiting benches. This Club solved that boredom. After checking in with your airline, you will approach that Club Mobay counter to get the ticket to get in, then go through airport security at a different line (shorter line). Then, you will go to the lounge. Inside the lounge, you get finger food, salad, drinks, WiFi access, bathrooms (separate from outside). The staffs are extremely nice and helpful. Save some money to tip them. Note: there was a bathroom attendant in each bathroom so make sure to save some singles to tip them as well. They all are very pleasant and not demanding. You can leave your carry-on luggage at the entrance and collect them upon leaving. Food quality is good and drinks are seriously not water down! Very pleasant! I don’t know if I would use it on arrival since we went through custom and immigration without issues. Thinking that it makes more sense for departure because of the long wait.

I highly recommend this lounge if you are flying out of Montego Bay. The staff is courteous and accommodating, and the selection is excellent! The Wifi network is fast, and the washrooms are clean and well-maintained. Huge shout out to Shana-Lee for her help at the front desk - you made our day by helping us get to the lounge. Please note spaces are limited at this lounge, so they may not always be able to let you in.

This is absolutely one service you cannot do without arriving and departing from Montego Bay! It is always an awesome experience to be escorted pass the long customs & immigration lines!

A lot of drink options but not enough food variety. It would have been nice if they had jerk chicken. Overall lovely place that’s very big with enough room for ppl to spread out. A lot of beef Patties at all times. They do offee vegetarian Pattie’s as well. There’s even a play area to keep the little ones occupied.

I like the club better when I am departing than arriving. Even in both ways the people who work on Mobay airport lounge are helpful and friendly. The food it’s delicious and the club it’s clean.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is the best thing to get when you travel to Jamaica they will walk you through the long lines. Wait with you to get luggage and go through customs. You get to sit in their waiting area they will give you snack, drinks while you wait on your transportation to hotel/resort.

Such a cool, nice place to spend a layover in. With snacks and a bar what else can you ask for?! They offer spa services too for an extra fee!! Plenty of seats and room to move about while waiting for your flight.

Lovely staff and lovely little lounge right after you get through customs. Priority Pass and many others accepted here. They are sanitary with packaging all food items in containers. They have a non Jamaican menu (it would be nice to have Jamaican food here) and the food is good. You leave your luggage outside and the security watch it for you. Please have Jamaican food next time :-). The rum punch was good. That was probably the most Jamaican thing here. I feel bad though about all that plastic thrown out. I hope it’s recycled or they can change to all paper containers.

Club Mobay is located within Montego Bay international airport, airport is known as Sangster International Airport. Club Mobay is the go to airport lounge when flying out of Montego Bay, you come to check in desk and depending which flight you flying with you will be directed to one of three inner lounges. The lounge incorporates sandwiches, snacks, soup, patties, all the food is prepared in house and served hot or cold, there is a bar which will dispense all range from soft drinks up to runs, whiskey etc you will not be disappointed. There is ample seating, within a spacious area with numerous tv around, airplane departures boarding information is displayed but as a bonus a vocal announcement is regularly alerted, so you don’t miss your flight. The ambiance and comfortable setting will make you want to arrive earlier to immerse yourself in this dynamic gorgeous atmosphere, it is enhanced by the pictures photos of Jamaican life which can be bought as prints, there is an abundance of historical information abound also, this is definitely a lounge which is worth coming to

We could access club Mobay using our priority pass. The lounge is a great place to get some refreshments before catching the flight. It has a playroom for toddlers and a gaming room for older children. The food was basic but I loved the curry goat and chicken empanadas. There were sandwiches, salad, pasta. The bar served all sorts of drinks in additional to water , juices & soft drinks. Our server was very nice. Overall we had a good time at this lounge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Club Mobay experience. The food was tasty, and the lounge was very clean. The bathroom had an attendant that sanitized each time someone used the toilet. We felt very welcomed. Would recommend.

Nice and relaxing space away from the hustle of the main terminal. Bar staff were very friendly. Limited choice of food though which was a bit disappointing. All in all though, worth the money.

Business Lounge at the Montego Bay Airport. You have to cancel the word “business”. Of course, you can wait here and bridge the time to your flight, that’s the reason for a lounge. But the people in here, act like it’s their home and nobody says something. Feet’s on the table and seat possibilities. Next to the music in the lounge you can listen to everyone’s music on their own devices. There are 2 levels and in the basement you also find a shower. When is was there, it was very dirty in the lounge. Enough staff is there. Some have been very nice. Others just not. I ordered a drink with a nice waitress at the lounge bar, when another guy from the staff interrupted and told me to change my face impression. Customer friendliness as it best! If you like to get a small treatment before flight, there is a possibility in the lounge. Food and snacks have been okay.

My partner and I did the night tour. It was very informative. Although the history causes anger and sadness, their approach made it appropriately scary, fun and nontraditional to other plantation tours I have experienced. Well done! Sophia was amazing. So good

We appreciated the history of the Jamaican sugar production and to reflect on the harsh treatment of enslaved people. The whole story about the white witch, her husbands, lovers, and ultimate demise, was very interesting and left me wanting to know more. The tour guide was professional and funny. I do think it’s an important stop when you’re on the island drinking rum runners and eating jerk chicken. The views are also *beautiful* and you will be sure to get some good snaps.

We had so much fun. Erica was our guide and the history was wonderful. Tons of beautiful period correct architecture and furniture. All amazing experience!

This is an awesome place filled with rich history people should know. Our tour guide did a great job explaining some of the myths about this place. Once you finish the tour, you will learn so much about Annie Palmer, the White Witch of Rose Hall.

I thoroughly enjoyed the scary night tour. We were also with an 11 year old and 13 year old who also had a blast. The history of the house, the slaves and the plantation was told to us by Ricky, who is a great guide... Thank you...

This historical home has all kinds of interesting stories attached to it. The stories and history alone are enough to make it worth your while, but add on top of it the friendly and knowledgeable people staffing it. Our tour guide, Sancha, was knowledgeable, patient and kind. My 2 boys had many questions and she made sure to answer all of them, regardless of how silly they were. My wife and I love history and had quite a few questions of our own. So this tour really made our day and we enjoyed hearing all the stories and conversing with Sancha.

We had a guide to ourselves and loved walking thru the house and the grounds…the stories around “Annie” were mostly just that - stories. I would have rather heard just the actual history, but it was beautiful day… And, there was an awesome gentleman selling jewelry and other souvenirs outside by “Annie’s tomb”.

Booked a private tour of just our small group of 6 through our hotel, and went right after opening. No wait and so nice to get a good look at everything. The house itself is quite grand, and the yards outside were beautiful. I took many pictures of the art on the walls and furniture inside the house. Loved learning more about the legend of the White Witch. Our guide was excellent in filling us in on all the horrors of Annie Palmer. Also, learning how much of a connection Johnny Cash has to this place was an interesting surprise. We did a daytime tour, and it still was a little creepy, so a night tour would be very spooky, I'm sure. I share my picture of myself and Annie's mirror. I am not sure if I really see anything "extra" in the mirror, but once you hear the stories, and start to look more at it, it's amazing what the mind can make you think you see. I am very intrigued to learn a little more about the history of this place and the legends behind it.

I have taken both the day and night tour at Rose Hall Great House and thoroughly enjoyed both tours particularly the night tour for its atmospheric rendering of the legend of Annie Palmer. The tour guides I had were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. A gift shop that sells quality souvenirs and a basement bar serving refreshments are located within the premises of the attraction. Be prepared for several heart stopping jump scares with the night tour. There is ample parking close to the entrance and entrance fees are reasonable.

I thought it was a good getaway. It's mostly a stroll through the Great House while the tour guide talks about all the urban legends surrounding Annie, her lovers and the suspicions behind their demise. I took the tour during the day. I think it would've been better to get the tour at night for the extra spook factor. It does offer lovely views of the surrounding areas of Rose Hall. All in all, a good visit .. and I'll be sure to book the night tour the next time I go back

Made the night tour and it was a great and funny experience. Our tour guide Ricky and all actors were great, and we recommend to take this tour. Not only you get fear and fun, full team is highly coordinated, but you get the story of the mansion and its past inhabitants and, even more and quite sadly, some insights into the tough life of past African people enslaved in the plantations. We reached here a little before sunset so could really appreciate the beautiful trees. The drums they played suited the atmosphere well. The greenery surrounding the plantation and the view of the ocean was beautiful. We took the night tour with a guide name Ricky. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The night tour was very fun and spooky at the same time.

There is a gift shop with local crafts and Jamaica branded items. The views are SPECTACULAR. It is a lovely property with a rich history. Do Cinnamon hill tour as well.

You get a lot of history of the property which includes when it was built and the ownership chain. Out tour guide was very detailed and knowledgeable on the subject matter. She was able to answer the questions that came from our group. You get a quick tour of the grounds and a more detailed tour of the Great House with all the rooms. In each room, you get a bit of history on the furnishings and the relationship to the owner. Very scenic property. The tour was worth it.

Very interesting and historical story, albeit a tragic one. One has to wonder how such evil can exist. The Great House is huge and an architectural beauty. Our guide, Shauna, was terrific and knew her stuff.

Nicely maintained beach. About $30 for two people to enter with loungers and an umbrella. Decent toilets and changing facilities. Attentive staff and good food on offer. The water trampolines were fun to use. 8/10 would recommend

Beautiful tranquil area! Extremely clean area and beach, but to access this beach and area a small fee needed. Don't worry it's very low and very worth it. Great to chill out, relax, have a walk. And a light bit of snorkeling. Lots to see and nice food around. We spent the day and it was a good day out overall

Gorgeous beach. Clear blue water. The softest sand with beautiful shells. Great service where you can rent chairs and umbrella and order food and drinks. Clean change rooms and a beautiful view.

It was very packed on the day we went. Paid on entry then extra for chairs and umbrellas. The landscape as always is incredible and flights to Mo Bay coming in were close to see. No smoking beach. Parked in hotel about 5 mins walk away. Still a nice beach. Bar on site. Cocktail about £10. Found prices in general in this area to be much higher than other areas we had visited on the island.

Nice beach. Great view. Got shaded places under tree if you are worried to get burnt, plus the rental umbrella, you should be fine. Got all facilities you need and are pretty clean. It would be 5 stars if the stuffs can be nicer. We asked a lady who works there for helping us take a photo for all, however, she just turned around and ignored.

It was great private beach! It is cleanest beach and you will be served by Pier One bar. But there are cafe, Starbucks and fast foods you can order and enjoy under the shade. They are good food and smoothies drinks are delicious! $8 per adult and $4 per child (12 and under). If you want sun bed and umbrella, it is €7 each. If you arrive there at 9 in the morning, it is worth it.

We had the opportunity to explore Doctor Cave both during the evening and the daytime, and it proved to be a delightful experience. When we visited at night, it transformed into a sophisticated night club, creating a pleasant and relaxed ambiance. During our daytime visit, we were captivated by the beautiful beach club atmosphere, complete with a plethora of entertainment options. To gain entry, we paid a reasonable fee of approximately 37 American dollars, which covered our entrance, as well as the provision of an umbrella and seating. In terms of cuisine, I decided to sample the curried goat with rice and peas, and I must say, it was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. Additionally, we indulged in a variety of beverages, as the bar exuded a lively and enjoyable party atmosphere. All in all, Doctor Cave is certainly worthy of a day visit, as it offers a fantastic array of amenities. The sea itself is a stunning shade of blue and possesses remarkable clarity. Moreover, there are numerous spots conducive to a memorable holiday photo.

We have been to many beaches across the Caribbean. Doctor’s Cave Beach is by far one of the best. While relatively small, it is very well maintained. The water was crystal blue, and the sand was perfect. We were here on weekdays, and it wasn't crowded. There are couple cafes with decent food for lunch and Starbucks. Bring your snorkeling gear, and you won't be disappointed.

A bit expensive because one has to pay entry fee on top of chair and umbrella. Friendly staff. The beach is beautiful and very convenient because we were staying right in front of the beach. The beach is clean and the sea is perfect!

This place is exactly what you see in Caribbean travel ads. Deep, clean crystal clear water, lounging on a lawn chair under an umbrella with a frozen cocktail. Coconut palms on the beach, reggae music and gently crashing waves in the background. Nice little cafe serving fresh Jamaican and international food and great service. It’s a must for anyone staying at the hotels in the Hip Strip.

This beach has it all! You pay a reasonable entry fee (our hotel gave us free access included with our stay), and have lounger and umbrellas also for rent. There are service people that come around to offer food and drink. It’s very clean, beautiful, serene, and safe. There are plenty of shaded seating areas off the sand, and trees for shade on the sand depending on the time of day.

Beautiful blue calm water beach. Big changing rooms. Pricing is very straightforward and the people take good care of you. Good service in the beach as well as a few restaurants to eat at.

The most beautiful beach I've ever seen so so so relaxing and the water was perfect it was calm and clear no waves at all just relaxing in the water for hours .. The food was excellent and the people working on the beach were very friendly and attentive this place felt like heaven on earth I will definitely be returning to this location with more family members Doctor's Cave is absolutely gorgeous thank you God for this beautiful experience

Great beach! Would have loved to spend everyday here if there wasn’t a wind storm. The beach was very clean and the water was clear. Loved that there was a separate smoking section.

I know it is wrong to pay for access to the beach...but so many locals discouraged us from going to a free local one that we decided to listen to their advice. Not sure if we will not try the free Harmony Beach tomorrow but Dr Cave Beach Club was a nice experience. 8 bucks an entrance and the same if you want a bed and umbrella ( not needed as plenty of palms and building shade to hide from the sun). The beach is very clean, safe, a great bar and changing rooms with showers.

Doctors Cave Beach is located off the famous Hip Strip of Montego Bay. Access is via the Hip Strip, it’s a fee paying beach, the beach is impeccably clean with clear waters so you can see the sea life, if you venture out a little you can snorkel and see amazing sea life. There is bar serving drinks , cocktails and bar snacks , there is a Starbucks overlooking the beach so coffee and everything Starbucks is available. There is a bouncy thing you swim up to and bounce on or just chill and lie on, the beach can get busy from time to time, but that’s because it’s the place to hang out. The white sand, the clear sea, the warm sea and the impressive sealife makes this beach popular with tourists and locals alike

Really nice, well kept beach. Place to smoke, beach bar with food. Turquoise water with cool seashells and if you swim out past the floating trampolines you can see a small reef with plenty of cool coloured fish, provided you have a mask and snorkel. Day after day it gets expensive but pro tip: they never change the color of the stamp when you exit ;)

Great facilities with showers, change rooms. Coffee shop on location. Entrance fee and you can purchase umbrellas and beach loungers.

Probably one of my favorite beaches in Montego Bay hands down! The staff is friendly, the sand and water is clean...I love that I feel somewhat "exclusive", Starbucks is literally a hop and skip away, so I'm happy about that...there's food available for purchases, umbrellas and beach chairs for rent...there are waiters who will come and take your order so you won't have to get up...live music, designated changing rooms/bathrooms/wash areas..I love it! The only thing is parking. It's a bit difficult to find parking because there is no designated spot really, you're literally parking on the side of the road, my advice: go early so that you can get a good spot not far from the Doctor's Cave entrance but other than that...would recommend in a heartbeat!

This is my favourite beach in Mobay The only thing that brings it down a star is all the money you need to spend to be comfortable Entrance fee plus chair plus umbrella I find it very expensive if you go every day. They should offer a 3 days pass or weekly pass. I like to get myself a hotel near the beach and walk to it That water is amazing I can literally stay in for a while. I have been there over 8-10 times It’s a must to visit at least once

Cruising the river on bamboo rafts was very relaxing. Their is a cool breeze along the waters. There is punch available, for purchase, to bring along. The colors incredibly vibrant. Be prepared to take photos.

We had a very wonderful experience at the martha brae River. The rafting was a breathtaking experience that everyone should be able to enjoy. The reason that this review is a 3 star is because of the staff at the office. They were very unprofessional and rude specifically an employee named sholene. Everyone else especially the tour guide was very friendly but the staff at the office made this trip a 3 star.

Prior to landing in Jamaica I was told that rafting on the Martha Brae river is an experience I should have. I must say that I was not too enthusiastic about going. Quite frankly it sounded boring to me. But along with other family I went with the flow. Well...hmm. it was a wonderful experience. After joining the raft which is made of bamboo we floated along the river with Ronald as our guide. He told us twice versions of the story of the Martha Brae river. Firstly, that Martha Brae was a witch who was tortured by the Spaniards so that she can tell where gold was located. That she lured then into a cave changed the course of the river and flooded out the cave causing them to drowned and the river began to flow in that new course from then until now. Second story is that the name Martha Brae is the english translation of the spanish name for the River Mateberion (not sure if the spelling of the name). We saw the river vendors plying their trade and children swimming in the river. We also saw fruit trees along the way. The most interesting part for us was to watch the guides manoeuvre the rafts when we arrived at our destination. There were so many rafts at the end that for us to get off the raft the guides had to use their oars to push the rafts out of the way so that we can inch forward slowly until we were able to step on to land. After that, while waiting be taken back to our vehicles we saw cranes loading the rafts...4 at a time on to the back of truck and we are told that the rafts are then taken to the beginning of the river and put back into the river so that other guests can join the raft and experience rafting on the Martha Brae River.

This is a wonderful experience. Our guide was Jay and he shared a lot of interesting information about Jamaica. I accidentally caused my husband to take a dive and he cut his finger on the wire. Jay poured rum on it and rubbed limestone and it stopped bleeding immediately. During the tour, they give you a limestone foot and leg massage. It was incredible....my feet are so smooth. The tour cost $35 per person and we bought a bottle of rum punch for $30 (we actually didn't know we were buying it but oh well!)

One of my favourite highlight of Jamaica was visiting the Martha Brae River. The river is nicely shaded from the hot sun. One raft cost 77USD for 2 people. Our guide was Leroy (Sugar), he was incredibly friendly and helped us take a lot of pictures! He was fun to chat with about Jamaica life and even about our life. Be sure to buy their craft, great souvenir to take back home. There are also vendors along the banks that sell fresh coconuts and souvenirs.

One of the best experiences I have ever had. The staff are very courteous and make sure that you have a good time. Water was so clean and refreshing. Jamaica sweet🇯🇲🙏

I am very fortunate that I just started playing golf and this course was the second place I played during a family trip. Not only is the course scenic but it is very well kept. Once you get to hole #5 the views really start to set in. Our caddies were amazing and felt like they were part of the group while knowing there stuff. If it wasn't for them, I'd probably had played a lot worst.

The golf course was beautiful and diverse, starting with ocean views then transitioning to jungle valleys - breathtaking. It had rained and the course was wet. It was still a bit rainy off and on while we were there. What made our experience great was or caddies who go by Mario & Brian. I was with my wife and two sons (17 and 16 years old). My wife refuses to golf and the one time she tried 25 years ago, she gave up on the first tee, but we got her to join us while on vacation. I and my sons would classify us as bad golfers, but with those occasional great shots that keep us trying. Anyways, Mario & Brian made the wet day a fun one. My wife was actually hitting the ball and smiling which is a million miles from where her mindset was at with reduction golf. I actually had an above average game. The place is great, but you will spend some money. If saving money is your priority, then don’t golf and especially don’t golf in cool places like this while on vacation. On the other hand, if enjoying a great course on vacation is your priority, this place is likely going to make you happy, especially if you have Mario & Brian as your caddies. And for those comments about caddies not looking for balls, not true with these guys.

Wow, wow, wow, Just been last week, amazing experience and worth the money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The price covers the cart and practice balls on the driving range, so get there at least half hour before your tee time to take advantage of that.

Brilliant course, lots of hazards, lots to see. Highly recommend playing if you're staying locally.

Golfed Cinnamon Hill last week and we were impressed! The checkin at the pro shop was easy and the woman set the tone for the day! Rush was our caddy and he had 30yrs+ experience. I’m a beginner golfer and he gave me tips that made a huge difference. My partner is a big golfer and found himself learning as well! Such a wealth of knowledge about golf, the course and the island. Might also be the only person who could tell me to be more patient without me getting grumpy! 🤣The scenery was incredible and it was different having to wait for mongoose and crabs to move :) The only downside was the lack of balls at the driving range, but the actual golfing was 10/10!

Had a blast playing. Course was very scenic and challenging. Water holes, mountain holes with major elevation changes. Our caddie Vern was awesome and so knowledgeable of the course and greens.

played 18 here march 9th, 2023, at about 10 am. all i can say is this place delivers and the price is worth it. beautiful scenery both on the ocean and in the jungle/mountains that you’re not getting at any other course in jamaica. back 9 gets pretty difficult but our caddy, tony, was excellent and didn’t give a bad read all day. also a fun guy to play a round with, definitely request him if you get the chance. after our round was over, i bought a hat at the pro shop, somehow got caught up in a conversation about the NBA with the guy working the shop, and ended up forgetting to even take the bag he’d already put my new hat in. just before our shuttle takes off i see him hustling over, bag in hand, yelling for my cab to stop. great course and great hardworking caddies and staff to go along with it

Awesome golf course! Definitely recommend trying when in Mobay. Interesting layout and get a good variety of Sea and jungle in the hills. Played solo in less than 3 hours one morning and the workers were friendly and pointed me in the right direction a few times. Make sure to occasionally pause and take some photos of the scenery. A bonus was to haggle for some extra balls at the range or with the street hustlers 😎👌

Beautiful course with great views and a lot of elevation changes. There were some areas of the course that were in rough shape but the caddy said it was from heavy rains. The caddys was very helpful and helped out on some crazy long putts. They also made it fun ours was a female she had a great personality. The course had a lot of history and it was great hearing about it from the caddy.

This was a great golf course! We stayed at the Hilton, so this was only a short golf cart away. We started playing at 8:30 and this requires a caddie. JR was our caddie and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Check in process was smooth and club rentals were also readily available. I would definitely recommend visiting if you’re in Montego Bay! The views are absolutely incredible. You will get waterfront views, as well as hills/jungle views. We were paired up with another golfer, as we were a smaller group and it was busy.

Amazing course. Great service from start to finish. Some absolutely stunning holes. The scenery is next level. Our caddies were phenomenal. They made it that much more enjoyable, such knowledge of the course.

The course is challenging and have good ocean views. It is nice to be on course in a sunny day. Green speed can be inconsistent in a few holes.

Loved this Golf course, ceburt and staff are amazing. Vernin aka (mackerel) top caddy on the island. Patty's are a must.

Great course, great staff. Natalie was our 1st round caddy, and she was loads of fun as well as very knowledgeable about the course. Vernon caddied for our last round and was very nice. Course was in great shape. Nice, challenging layout with SPECTACULAR ocean views on several holes. DEFINITELY recommend.

Our driver Howard was awesome!! He gave history on Jamaica. Information on different food. I told him I get carsick, and he suggested that I sit up front. He said I would not get sick on his watch. You could tell that he took good care of his bus. He slow down for potholes, speed, bumps, etc.. It was in an enjoyable ride!

We would not book with them again. Valgeene was our rep and we scheduled all of our excursions in advance for her to day off at the scheduled time of pick up with the driver forget the card machine for payment making us late. She has to have the srover to a different location just to give us reciepts. Day 2 of a 8:00am excursion we had to call her because our driver was not there and she tells us “give her one minute” and hangs up on us without further explanation. We call again she’s saying theres a thire party hick up. We ask what the hick up is (we scheduled in advance) she says “hold on” and hangs up again. So for the third time were calling trying to figure it out because we were scheduled for ATV and Horseback riding at 8 and were now going on 8:30. She calls telling us we have to do rafting today and atvs and auch tomorrow. Well thats not what we planned and prepared for. She wasn’t courteous of the inconviemce and on too off that she tell us “you have 10 minutes to change” and “do you want to go or not” just really rude, not apologetic or customer service savy. Then the driver that she told 10 minutes too last minute was really nasty and rude to us because she made us late being that she changed our plans day of minutes before the rafting excursion. We still have more days to experience with our excursions through them and we aren’t very happy with the inconvenience or the distasteful customer service.

We arrived with many flights that came in late so I understand that we had to wait for people on the bus. They helped with our bags and the driver was friendly. But I can’t give five stars because with 3 kids in tow who had been up since 3 am, they should have told us that we were going to sit and wait til the next flight arrived (almost an hour). And that the trip was going to be another 45 minutes. Then we would have used the bathroom and gotten snacks.

Don’t not book them for ANYTHING. They are disorganized and wait too long. There is no structure. I paid for an airport transfer to Negril from Mo bay. We sat in the van for almost an hour waiting because they driver was trying to wait for 4 more people to get through security. That is unacceptable. We pay for stays at the hotel and while I understand the van is trying to make money, they need to have set times that they leave and a max wait time. He knew there was bad traffic due to congestion and construction which is an even bigger reason why you shouldn’t have passengers sitting around waiting. After waiting all that time, we ended up leaving with just us. So we waited for no reason!!! No respect for the passengers’ time or consideration for the money we spent to stay at resorts. We should have been to the resort no later than 3. We didn’t get there until almost 5 because of the waiting and the traffic. We left the airport 2:10 after waiting for 40 plus minutes. Never again.

Very rude staff. Especially the lady at the help????/desk at Grand Palladium, Lady Hamilton. Not only was she not helpfull at all but utterly rude and irresponsible like telling guests... It's not my job to find your shuttle bus time. If you don't know the time than you can't leave Jamica. ...... Never have I encountered such staff who have a tripod linked mobile, watching tick tock videos at help desk and giving such response to the clients. Not only were we shocked but other employees of other companies at other help desk were equally shocked If the company employees such employees and has no checks I presume that is the policy of the company. Advisable not to book/ rely on such companies

I have just come back from Jamaica and what made it amazing was the excursions I went on. I can't recommend Jamaica Tours enough for an amazing time. First of all I was in Bahia grand principal in runaway bay. I booked all my things with Jamaica Tours through an amazing ladies called Dionne Brown. She helped me so much. I've been to Jamaica a few times and she found tours for me to try that was new and I loved them all. She was so helpful, caring, funny and just a star. So if you are ever at Bahia grand principal please go to Jamaica Tours and ask for her. I went on the chukka Dunn's River boat trip, luminous Lagoon tour, Chukka ATV and shopping. All were amazing. The buses, drivers and journeys were all great. Thank you Jamaica Tours till next time I come. And again thank you Miss Dionne.

The travel advisory about Jamaica being dangerous is %100 incorrect. Jamaica is much safer than United States. The locals rely on the tourism industry for income, and their laws see harming a tourist as a very serious criminal offense. It's perfectly safe to go into town or tour the island outside of the resort, especially if you have a great tour guide. We used Jamaica Tours Limited taxi rides or shared transportation and they were very pleased with the experience. Our driver, MURPHY, was especially helpful. He really went out of his way to take care of us.

Great tour up to 9 mile. Driver was safe and efficient, tour guide didn't do much but the trip was fun

Our resort recommended we use this company, so I booked it. However, this trip was a splurge for me, and only a 3 day getaway. Therefore, every minute counted. We landed at noon and were escorted to a giant tour bus. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. After a long flight, it was the last place I wanted to be. After an hour, we finally left. But then we stopped at 6 hotels to let other passengers off before we got to ours. We got to the resort several hours later than we expected and missed an afternoon of beach time. If I go back, I would definitely splurge for a $30.00 taxi.

Not only did they never sent a confirmation email to provide further instructions, you have 1/10 chances that they will pick up the phone to answer your questions and confirm booking. We were sold an excursion that they later explained is an add on, and therefore they were not sending their personnel to pick us up. When our travel agency contacted them for a refund, they denied the request. We were told that they would come the next day, they never showed up, because a driver was sick and they didn’t have enough staff (they let us know 1:30 after waiting). We somehow managed to purchase a second excursion (thinking that we would get a refund for the excursion that never occurred), they showed up 30 min late. We also had a delay on the way there because we were stopped by traffic officials due to expired documents on the bus. We showed up to our excursion an hour late. There are other respectful companies on Jamaica that will take you to these excursions and will pick up the phone to answer your concerns. Don’t get scammed by them. Look elsewhere to enjoy beautiful Jamaica.

Our vacation started with us waiting on a bus at the airport for over 30 minutes while the driver kept saying "waiting for one more". Others were on the bus when we boarded so no idea how long they were waiting. It seems it would have been better to just keep a regular bus schedule instead of parking and waiting. We also went on a tour off the resort with them. This involved a four hour bus ride while they waited for people as they stopped along the route for what should have been a 90 minute direct drive. Our second tour was cancelled because when we got to the boat a passenger was injured from exposed nails!! I'm hoping our next visit I can avoid this tour company.

I always use JTL for all my airport transfer when I travel to Jamaica The only thing that gets me is the wait ro leave. I understand it is not efficient to run almost empty halfway across the island but I am sure with passenger travel info they can improve. Overall , customer service has always been top notch and the drivers are always genuinely pleasant

I use them every time I am in Jamaica. They are reliable, safe and they provide private, luxury transportation options from the airport to resorts and everywhere in between. The vehicles are always in immaculate condition and the chauffeurs are polite and professional.

This company is a total rip off in my opinion. They sell you a transfer from MBJ to RIU Montego Bay but this is really a city bus type ride. Our bus ride was a whopping 3 miles for around $60 us for two people round trip. This is more like a $2 city bus ride because you have to wait at the airport about 30 minutes to get enough people then you go from hotel to hotel dropping people off. We paid taxi prices to take public transportation. The guys at the airport were selling weed to the passengers, which I would not usually consider my business but when the passengers came in with the weed the smell was very pungent. We did not pay to sit on a bus that smells like weed and takes an hour to get us to our hotel that was 3 miles away. If you are gonna overcharge, you should at the very least provide professional service.

This is more than a review. I would like to express my gratitude toward the staff and management of Jamaica Tours Limited. On December 31st, 2023, New Years Eve Day, My husband, Jim and I booked an excursion to Dunn River Falls. On the falls he either slipped or lost his balance and fell resulting in a serious head injury. The staff at the falls acted quickly and transported him to the nearest hospital. He was stitched up and thankfully, after a head and neck c-scan, he had no brain injury. Darlene Stewart was our tour guide at the time. She stayed with us and took control of a very stressful situation. We were in a different country and not only was I afraid for my husband who required extensive suturing in multiple places to his head and forehead, but I had no Idea where we were or how to maneuver a hospital system much different than our own. Darlene was an absolute Angel sent from God. We were never left alone. She was in constant contact with her director Maralyn Monteith who helped us get to a private hospital at our request. Darlene was a great comfort to me and made this unfortunate situation bearable. We started our adventure at 8am and she stayed with us into the New Year until we were safely at Hospiten, Montego Bay. This was at 3am the following morning. Favain was our driver during the hour and a half drive to the private hospital. He was extra careful and I am so grateful for his help into the early morning hours. We stayed the rest of the afternoon at the Hospital and got some much needed sleep until Jim was discharged and was given a “Fit to Fly” letter so we could leave on our scheduled flight on January 2nd. Both Darlene and Maralyn visited Jim in the hospital before he was discharged. When it was time for us to leave I got a call from Maralyn that she arranged a private car to take us to the airport. She also arranged a wheelchair for my husband at Montego Bay airport and at our airport in Newark. The flight home was the easiest experience I have ever encountered as far as airport travel is concerned. Jamaica Tours fully refunded our excursion. I can’t convey enough what an asset Darlene is to this company. Maralyn was incredibly helpful in her decision making and more than fulfilled her responsibility as a director. This company clearly cares about people. They went above and beyond every notion of that concept. Jim is healing well. I hear from Darlene and Maralyn often. We have booked our return trip to The Jewel Grande for February 2025 and are looking forward to booking “The Spirit of Reggae” excursion for our next adventure. The positive thing about this I got to my destination safely from the airport MBJ to resort within 1.5 hours. Now for the negative the Driver Philp very unprofessional, brash and liar. I understand that Jamaica economy is not near the USA but to say” he pays 8 USD for bread and 11 uSD for gas” and he wished to own BMW she would get sexual favors without consent. Ughh. Gross. I wish he would’ve spoken about a different subject, we tried to redirect didn’t do us any good. Also made us feel guilty about his wage and how much he earns. He was laying it on thick to leave a tip. For those who are wondering $20 just be more than enough.

Truly a beautiful location in the mountains. If you're new to Jamaica, then this a perfect opportunity to see a variety of flora, organic fruits and vegetables and learn some history about the country.

The best tour for nature lovers. Alecia our tour guide was so knowledgeable and the sweetest person ever! The journey up and down the mountain was bumpy but allowed us to see some beautiful scenery and proper country living. We drove through a waterfall just before entering the property. The views from Croydon are breathtaking and there are so many plants/fruits growing there. Everything was delicious and I may have overdone it sampling the pineapples and fruits that I barely had room for lunch. There is moderate walking with some small hills, my 10 year old has some mobility issues but still managed the walk. If you want to experience the real countryside in Jamaica, sample delicious fruits and food and spend time with the most welcoming tour guide in Jamaica I recommend a trip to Croydon in the mountains

We had the absolute best afternoon here at Croydon! We tried a variety of pineapple, learned a bit about bees and pineapple peels, and just chilled! The owner is absolutely amazing and has a beautiful vision for an already gorgeous location. We'll be back for sure, although weary of it being a "plantation"...the energy of the place was amazing! Not what I was expecting, but it was a fabulous adventure that allowed us to see Jamaica!!!

Loved this place! I took a tour with Winston and he was the best ever! The property and views from the hills were breathtaking. You get to try local produce from the plantation along with delicious drinks. Food was provided at the end of the tour. The plantation is a must see. I didnt know it was so many varieties of fruits such as bananas, pineapple, and mango.

The drive to the plantation from Montego Bay was long but it was worth the experience. The Croydon family was very welcoming. The tour guide Alicia was truly knowledgeable and fun to be around. It was about an hour, 30 minutes walk, where the tour guide shared her knowledge of the trees and plants on the property. We had breaks on the walk where we'd sample the fruits on the property. The journey ended with an authentic Jamaican lunch and we sampled coffee. Overall, the trip was very rewarding, a walk in the cool hills of Catadupa, in fresh air, great staff and good tasting food. If you are ever in Jamaica, this will be an experience worth doing.

This was a great experience. The atmosphere was pure and cool. The tour guide Alicia was very knowledgeable and her personality was welcoming. I enjoyed every step of the way. There was so much about my own country I didnt know. 🤭I enjoyed learning about the bees, the coffee process, the different trees and plants. I didnt know there were so many types of pineapples. The food was great too. The drive was a little bit rough to the plantation but it was worth the experience. The team was exceptional! I recommend.

If you are in Jamaica and planning to go on any trips, this is the one you have to do. Forget all the other excursions, this experience was by far the best we have ever had. The tour of the plantation, the fruits, the tasting. You don't get these chances often.

This was the best part of our Jamaican trip. The ride here was a bit bumpy but so worth it. Along the way there was a natural waterfall on the road which was really cool to see. Croydon is a huge pineapple farm along with many other different types of fruits. The best part was trying all the fruits. The view of the mountains was also gorgeous. There is a lunch served after your long walk. Make sure you try the organic ginger tea, I've never tasted a drink that good before.

For the short visit I got to have at this plantation, I am at awe at the beauty and peace this place brought me. From the staff, to the owner himself, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Would love to plan a stay at the Croydon in the mountains in the future...near future!

Good experience to understand how the real Jamaica is. Could benefit from more walking around the plantation. Guide Alicia is amazing, has excellent knowledge of the local plants, history and explains it well.

If you are looking for an incredible experience off the beaten track, and want to see the real rural Jamaica, do not miss this amazing place. The ride from MoBay takes about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your resort, and while the road can be a little bumpy, it already offers amazing views. Once you arrive at Croydon, prepare to be amazed! You will get a very informational speech about the country and the plantation, home to one of the National Heroes of Jamaica, Sam Sharpe. Then you'll learn about coffee and honey, and observe some gorgeous hummingbirds. At this point you will move through the stunning property observing all sorts of trees and sampling so many varieties of pineapple and tasty fruits, juices and ginger beer. You will meet knowledgeable, friendly and passionate people that make the experience even more pleasant, and conclude the tour with one of the best Jamaican lunches you could dream of. Don't forget to drink the coconut water and to eat the jelly!!! I recommend the experience to groups, couples, families with children, even young ones: this attraction is definitely eco and family friendly. Excellent for nature and animal lovers. One of the best, truly authentic excursions in the country, that you don't want to miss.

This was the Best place ever. We got to try 10 different pineapples. They were all awesome. I wish we had them in America. Our trip also came with an authentic Jamaican meal. It was great. I highly recommend. Make sure you book with the ride because it's a 2 hour drive up the mountains. They also have awesome bananas. I assumed because it was green it would not be ripe. Best banana ever. The tour requires a lot of walking. I wouldn't recommend if you cannot walk in high humidity for 2 hours. You will stop and go but it's still all outdoors.

We are so glad we took this tour. Seeing this part of Jamaica was a real treat. The grounds were beautiful. All the staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. The lunch provided was excellent. Highly recommend

Very commercialized. May not be owned by the cruise line, but they are very closely related. A few shops and fewer "Street Venders". However, the shops were air conditioned, and that was welcomed.

Main Street in Rose Hall is a truly remarkable destination that merits a visit. Its delightful array of shops and charming boutiques offer a wide selection of exquisite gifts. Your experience is guaranteed to be nothing short of exceptional. We spent a truly memorable day there, and I strongly recommend making it a priority during your stay in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Nice shopping atmosphere, there is constructing going on there currently in the courtyard. Otherwise great shopping area. Be sure to visit the Royal shop Jewelry and ask for Harish Kokal.

Amazing location especially for an evening stroll with family, friends or even by yourself. Awesome shopping experience for visitors and locals. It's OK, the market is made for tourists so expect high prices , if you are looking for deals , it's not the place to go. I would recommend the first gift shop on the left once you enter. They have the best selection of souvenirs and clothes.

It was a nice touristy area, but there was nothing in the shops I couldn't live without. I like that they sale some authentic Jamaican merchandise and actually have the crafters there to tell you about their processes and designs. There are some beautiful pieces of wood work in a variety of shapes and sizes.

It's totally safe and secure to shop there. There are souvenir shops, an amazing store with wood carvings, Jewelry stores, the best ice cream ever Devon House Cones and Cream I recommend the crunch munch. There is a licensed shop selling Bob Marley and Harley Davidson t-shirts. You can get fresh coconut water from a vendor there. There is a Scotchies restaurant that sells jerk chicken and seafood. And many photo ops throughout the area.

Great stop, food, drink, we had some beef patties! Rum! Great atmosphere.

Nice place to look around but DO NOT DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR SOUVENIRS !! They sell rum cream $35 and same exact bottle is $15 at the AIRPORT. Cigars / jerk sauce anything they were selling here is at least 2x times more pricey than other places. They have good selection of souvenirs at the airport and can find same products also. Yes tourists spot more pricey I understand but that is bit too much overcharging. Very unreasonable price. ONLY place I liked was the coffee store recently opened. She was very nice and sweet also coffee was good !!!

Such a cute little market with a variety of stores! The authentic Jerk Chicken at Scotchies was so delicious! Def a good experience and was glad we did it!

The legend of Rose Hall is intriguing. Our tour guide was very personable as well as knowledgeable. The property itself was full of history that transcended the island. I really enjoyed the tour and wish we had more time to see other properties in the area.

I had no idea what Rose Hall was--thought it might be an old plantation! Well, it was another modern shopping strip, perhaps in cahoots with the cruiseline! Actually, this was my second visit there--which I could have skipped this trip! I did enjoy the entertainers there and the ice cream store!

Caddy is great golf course is great but not the greens covid really did a number on them, the greens need a lot of love it is mostly dirt. But if your looking for a fun time this is the place for you if you are serious golfer the greens will upset you . We had a great time good weather great caddy . Ya mon

The White Witch golf course is aptly named because she was a widow maker herself per local lore. Overall the course is a lot of fun but the greens are a little rough. The views are amazing and our caddy Ava, was very knowledgeable, especially reading the greens. Of course, executing the putt is up to you!

My Girlfriend and I had an amazing time at the White Witch Golf course yesterday , the fairways and rough were very nicely cut. The greens were growing in at the time so I can’t complain about that. Our Caddie Maestro was very knowledgeable about the course and was very helpful in all aspects of the game. I would definitely play here again.

One of, if not the best laid out and maintained courses on the island, which features the most dramatic 1st hole and start to a visually beautiful golf experience, each hole has it's own unique features from the James Bond hole made famous from the film to Playing through Cinnamon Hill Great House former home of Johnny Cash.....

You can see that the course was under limited maintenance during the Covid shutdown the greens need some work and although the general course is getting into shape quickly there is still work to do. But it is still quite a challenge and can humble you quickly if you stray. The staff are great and very friendly a real Caribbean welcome awaits. Good luck on the course.

I may not be a golfer, but my visit to White Winter Golf Course left a lasting impression. The impeccable turf and well-manicured greens are a testament to the dedication of the staff. The surroundings exude a sense of service and attention to detail that can only enhance the experience for avid golfers. From what I observed, everything here seems to be perfectly aligned for a great tee-off. A top-notch destination for golf enthusiasts and non-golfers alike!

I went to the location for a wedding. The land was amazing, very well preserved. There is no air-conditioning system in the buildings, but there are fans. The view was amazing for a wedding. I highly recommend

My husband & I came to this course yesterday. We are on a cruise & booked this spot to play while our ship was docked in Jamaica. The course was absolutely stunning. The staff was amazing & super friendly. Our golf caddy Diane made the experience that much better for us. She knew her stuff & was a joy to be around all day. We will highly recommend to anyone we know coming to Jamaica & we will let them know to request Diane as their caddy. If we ever find ourselves traveling to Jamaica again we will definitely be back! PS- my husband wanted me to add that Diane has EXCELLENT golf & course knowledge.

Views amazing and fairways are good but the greens are the worst I have ever seen. Greens are 90% dirt with no grass. Unbelievable that they charge people to play this course. It should be shutdown untill greens are playable. Absolutely DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE if you are a experienced golfer expecting to have a good day on a well maintained course.

This place is truly a 5star experience! Nadia was my caddy and an absolute pleasure - she is kind, funny, and gave great advice on the course. I definitely recommend requesting her! The entire staff were exceptional in their service and I felt very at home, even while navigating a new place. The course is beautiful and the views from that elevation were probably the best in Jamaica. I'll definitely be back!

Positives: caddie was amazing, beautiful scenery and Jamie was really helpful over email. Negatives: the course, particularly the greens, were in really really poor condition. The overall maintenance of the course was not good and certainly not worth the $170 I paid for 18 holes. If this course was in the UK, it would be under £20 to play, though I doubt in its current condition it would be open. Furthermore, the prices you see on the website when booking are not the same as when you get there which is very misleading - I ended up having to pay an additional $45 to what it stated for everything on the website.

My husband and I went here just a couple of days ago. When I read the reviews here on Google, I didn’t think that it was that magical of a place. However, I really wanted to feed the hummingbirds, so I got the tickets. This is such a beautiful and peaceful experience. The family is truly so caring and genuine, they’re all very talented artists and have created an incredible nature walk through their garden. And the hummingbirds! They are so cute and I felt like a Disney princess when one perched on my finger to drink the sugar water. I would absolutely recommend anyone to go there and experience magic and serenity for a bit. You won’t regret it!

I planned this visit because I love gardens and wanted to see the hummingbirds..When we got there it was soooo much more than just a botanical garden and enjoyed the lessons learned..Thank you Mrs Tamika for opening your home to us! Ras and Marcia are the most gracious hosts. The gardens are amazing and beautiful. The paintings are beautiful...and Rocky and the crew are beautiful...they come right onto your hand to greet you..just one of the most amazing experiences!!!

Tamika and Ras have created their own little piece of heaven that is more than worth a visit. Fantastic story to be heard here and you can even visit with the hummingbirds. Took my family of 13 there on last minute notice and they welcomed us with open arms for a beautiful afternoon. Best way to book is to call them directly.

I enjoyed my 2+ hour tour with Ras, Tamika, and their family very much. There’s a cliff side garden filled with a variety of intriguing plant life and small animals that the guides tell you about. You see a small waterfall and can relax in a hammock at one point. The highlight though is feeding the hummingbirds and turquoise lizards that perch right on your hand to drink red sugar water from a bottle. Rudy the hummingbird followed us around the whole time. At the end there is an art gallery with items for sale. It’s $35 per person for the tour and $25 for a round trip shuttle transfer to and from your hotel. They made booking easy and were reachable the previous evening. This is a half-day activity including the transfers.

This was an incredible experience! I highly recommend this tour to EVERYONE. The family was exceptionally accommodating and welcoming. Mrs. Williams gave an incredible tour of the gardens and is very knowledgeable about the area. She taught us a lot about the history of Jamaica while incorporating her knowledge of medicinal plants. The gardens are very impressive with gorgeous views and art everywhere. There was something about this tour that is so spiritual and grounding. At one point Mrs. Williams gave us a moment to reflect over looking the ocean - this was a life changing experience. I came back from that tour with a new outlook on life. Please DO NOT skip out on the gift shop, the art is beautiful. This is a must do for all photographers and nature enthusiasts. I’m planning on coming back to Jamaica next year and I will definitely be returning! See you soon! Note: please wear sneakers lol. I did the tour in sandals but should have worn more sensible shoes.

Had an amazing time touring this beautiful cliff side home. The garden and gallery were absolutely enchanting. Everything we passed by and looked at had meaning and I loved learning so much about it!! The hand painted canvas pages were beautiful, especially the one with the lotus 🥰 I can’t wait to return in spring/summer!

This garden is a well-hidden treasure of biodiversity and humanity. It's an entire experience. The owners and their son together taught us the history of the place and their interactions with the people of Montego Bay, the different plants, how to behave in nature (with a touch of spirituality). There are plenty of pieces of art spread out inside the garden, and so much creativity it makes you want to become an artist. If you want to purchase the owners' work, there is a gallery at the end of the tour. Both of the owners are very talented. The place is suitable for children too. I will let the owners tell you why :) The lovely humming birds accompany you during your journey, and they don't hesitate to perch on your hand (you won't ever forget the sensation). The place is so quiet and relaxing, you will return refreshed. The garden is very well maintained and the diversity of it is exceptional. If you come to Jamaica, you should definitely go there!

What an amazing experience!! Everyone there was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. We went in just expecting to see some wildlife up in the mountains; we were pleasantly surprised by such a personalized and knowledgeable tour. If beautiful views, kind people, and hummingbirds are your thing, this is the place for you! Many thanks to the family and staff here for such a wonderful time.

It's was a wonderful tour of a beautiful garden, an enlightened experience and story behind every area of the garden. The wonderful flora and fauna. Feeding the hummingbirds as a great experience. Each art 🎨🎭 piece having their own story, a picture is worth a 1000 words but these pieces maybe worth 10,000. We loved it

I recently booked this tour through Airbnb Experiences at $35 USD per person. The Airbnb platform made payment and communication easy, and Tamika was prompt and responsive to any questions we had. We even ended up rescheduling our tour due to heavy rains, and she handled it smoothly. Upon arrival, we drove up a steep and narrow road to reach the property. The view was breathtaking, making the journey well worth it. We found parking on the main road at the base of the driveway to the property. Parking on the driveway is not permitted. We walked up the steep driveway and Tamika welcomed us into the gate, as we joined other guests in the sitting area to hear Ras regale us with captivating stories about the property's growth and his artistic journey, leaving us inspired. Tamika guided us through the property, sharing her extensive knowledge about the flora and fauna. We were greeted by friendly hummingbirds and had the opportunity to feed them out of our hands. The property was teeming with dozens of these remarkable creatures, some with the most gorgeous, long tails we’d ever seen. You haven’t lived until you’ve felt a hummingbird land on your finger! After the guided tour of the lush and vibrant property, Ras welcomed us into the gallery/gift shop. His artwork and crafts were on display and available for purchase. After visiting the gift shop, we took our time exploring the diverse plant and tree life, admiring Ras' whimsical painted rocks, sculptures, and natural benches carved from stone and wood. The vibrant colors of the flowers and the peaceful ambiance awakened all our senses. We found the hammocks to be a perfect haven for contemplation and relaxation. The view from the hammocks has to be seen to be believed. Throughout the experience, Tamika and Ras provided excellent hospitality. They offered nature-safe bug repellent and umbrellas for shade. Overall, this 2–3-hour excursion provides a memorable experience for all ages. This property is romantic for couples, educational for families, and safe for singles. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for walking and climbing stairs. Consider using your voice memo app to record ambient sound to enjoy later. And of course, take lots and lots of photos!

A piece of heaven near Montago Bay. The garden is beautiful with all the plants, flowers, hummingbirds and many other birds flying around. The hummingbirds are not shy at all, they fly around you and we were able to feed them many times, when they were sitting on our fingers. It was an incredible feeling! The owners told us the whole story about the location and how they transformed it to such a wonderful place. They are also a very talented artists and you can buy a piece of art from them if you want. I bought a small hummingbird painting and can't wait to hang it on the wall when I am at home.

Greenwood is one is the best preserved examples of the plantation era Jamaican Great House. Magnificent hilltop location, with wide view of the Caribbean sea. Built in late 1700s by Richard Bennett. Most of the items are authentic: furniture, antique china and silverware, crystals, oil paintings and Barrett family memorabilia, rare musical instruments, intact original library (with up to 300 books, some dated as early as 1697.) Worth a visit! Strongly recommended.

Five stars if you are a history buff. This gives a lot of background in history on this side of the island. A lot of the furniture is from the 1600s. Entrance fee is $25 if you purchase it at the venue.

Marvelous place, guide lady loves what she do, they are wonderful hosts, the house is amazing, this is a hidden gem and a must see place if you love the history and explore how was it like to live back in the days. Very well preserved, each corner of the house provides insights and interesting stories.

If you are in Trelawny or Montego Bay, you need to visit Greenwood Greathouse. The history of the house is well preserved, and the staff is very knowledgeable and articulate . This is a must-see on your next visit .

Lovely tour guide. Mixed historical data with personal anecdotes and other little bits of relevant information. Our group was mixed from age 4 to adult and she kept everyone involved and entertained. Really liked this one.

Great tour and great experience! The historical value of all the artifacts in this house is impressive! The guide was very knowledgeable and took her time with our kids. I think the only thing missing in the tour would be a moment, or sector of the tour, really dedicated to the life of the slaves in themselves, how they lived, what was their days like, etc. So to balance the opulence of the house with the actual reason they could be in such luxury by having slaves working for them. Otherwise I really recommend it it’s a different side of Jamaica different from just the fun beaches and falls.

Loved viewing this house. It had many of its original pieces and in particular my favourite was the pink room! The staff were great and it wasn’t busy at all (we went on a Sunday at 2pm) so our tour was personalized as we were the only guests there. It was very well preserved and the tour guide was informative. We also purchase tickets upon arrival which was nice as I was worried we would have to book in advance. Overall 10/10. Beware the car-ride up was very bumpy but still safe.

By far the best great house tour on the island. I'm surprised it's not more popular. The road to get there was a little rough and there weren't any other guests when I visited on a Saturday, but the guides were very friendly and engaging and the tour itself was informative. I loved seeing all the rare musical instruments and unique art from the 1700s.

We enjoyed this tour of Greenwood Great House quite a lot. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The tour was focused on the many unique artifacts and furnishings of the home, as well as details of the Barret family. We found the instruments particularly interesting. I wish the tour had a bit more focus on the history of slavery in the house. The Barrett's "owned" 2000 slaves. Though there were brief mentions during the tour as well as a small area of the grounds with artifacts, I would have liked to learn more, especially as the Greenwood Great House was one of few great houses to survive the Great Jamaican Slave Revolt.

Our experience was meh 😑 … I’ll start with the positive review. The beach is beautiful and clean. The hotel raves about every room has a view to the ocean. Not true. I had to request a room change due to the bathroom not having a bathroom door and a huge palm tree as a view. We got moved one room down… at least it had a bathroom door and a 20% view of ocean mind you a huge palm tree blocking the view. The service from the staff was very poor. Many of the female staff were rude and would roll eyes at you when you would ask them a question. The food was also very poor. We ate some jello in these little glasses and they had pieces of glass in them. I went to the reception and management never came out nor did they show any concern. I’ve have been to other Decameron resorts that have truly been amazing stays. But this stay I was very disappointed in many aspects of my trip here. Jamaica did not make us feel very welcome. The staff needs to take some hospitality courses to improve the attitude and the food needs improvement.

This review is keeping in mind that it is a budget friendly option and not a 5 star resort so expectations definitely need to reflect that. Food: Generally standard but plentiful options. There were a few stand out dishes throughout our stay and we did not go hungry. Beach: Amazing water, very well maintained beach, hotel location and amenities surrounded by beautiful blue waters all Around Staff: a couple of people stood out for service, but nothing blew me away in this aspect. Service was good enough but staff are very much on “island time” and generally distracted by the locals. No major complaints though. Rooms: THIS IS WHY I WOULD NOT RETURN…most rooms have an impeccable view of the water, we stayed on the Cornwall beach side and the rooms were new. Maintenance is a major set back though. We noticed a swarm of roaches by the mini fridge on our last day. It was very obvious this has been an issue for a while and honestly I’m shocked there aren’t more reviews about this because I’m certain it wasn’t a one off. Now I know it’s a hot climate and with food and people everywhere you will have your insects. But roaches homing themselves in your room is unacceptable and this is the only reason I will not return. Overall, great vacation and I would visit again if they took care of the cockroaches in the room.

I gave this place four stars because honestly believe they can put more effort into the food being served, budget all-inclusive resort or not. Overall it was pretty decent for the type of resort it is. Concierges at the front desk are helpful and friendly, especially for the myriad of things that go wrong daily. Also the bar staff there in the evening and night time. They keep this place alive.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach! The hospitality and service provided by the staff were exceptional, and I want to extend a special thanks to Hakeem. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor truly made our experience unforgettable. The beautiful beachfront location, comfortable accommodations, and delicious dining options added to the overall excellence of our stay. I can't wait to return and create more amazing memories at this fantastic resort.

Arrived Friday, checked in, and there were no washed rags in the bathroom. Tried to get it from the front desk, but they had none. I could not open the safe from the instructions that were given from the front desk. Report to front desk and someone came and she could not open it either. Went to dinner, and the dining room was full, so I was asked if we could sit on the outside on a big bench and someone would bring the utensils. After waiting five minutes, I went and asked a server for some utensils. Seems as if she was a bit upset that I came and asked her in the manner she answered. She said "sir I will take them to you." After taking them to us, she did not return, so I have to go look my own drink, my own water. The dining room staff seems as if they were tired and want to go home. Wash rags were received 24 hours after we requested them Saturday morning breakfast was a bit better, but Sunday morning was bad. They ran out of most things, and it took a while to replace them. Sunday dinner was good as there were fewer guest guests there. I get the feeling that the hotel was full on Friday and Saturday and they were not prepared for it.

Very nice place. Comfortable rooms with sea view. I just wish the Marijuana wasn't smoked on property, it has such a stinky smell. One nice staff in the restaurant was Malawi. She was so sweet. Thanks Malawi. You should be training the rest of the staff

It was a good experience. Majority of the workers were pleasant. The hotel is located ideally near to attractions and restaurants. You can even see when the planes are about to land. They offer nightly entertainment, jacuzzi, archery lessons and Bingo games.

I found this an amazing establishment for a first trip to Jamaica. I didn't have to worry about anything while on the grounds. The food was delicious/plentiful and the drinks were refreshing! The beach was gorgeous yet could stand some more loungers. The housekeeping was on top of making sure our mini fridge was stocked with our needed drinks. The cafe was quiet and gave me a great wake up atmosphere while drinking my morning coffee. The only thing I would suggest that could be more helpful would be airport shuttle service.

It was our second time back to the Decameron Cornwall! We were there on December 12-19th with our son (18). We love the Decameron because it’s a smaller hotel and so easy and quick to navigate everything around. The service is phenomenal, the staff are kind! Shout out to RODNEY on the beach, a kind and hardworking soul who is always at your service. Shout out to ANTOINETTE who makes the best coffee at the coffee bar on the second floor. She remembers what you love ❤️ and makes you feel special. In the dining hall all of the staff are courteous and kind. If I had to give one criticism unfortunately the food is not what it was before, it is delicious but repetitive and no sea food. In the past there was sea food and different meats but this time not do much BUT we are booked for March AGAIN! Thank you Decameron Cornwall for a great stay! See you soon!

Holiday weekend well spent! At first I was iffy, because the check in process was long and the family was growing frustrated. However, when we got to our rooms and saw how beautiful they were and the VIEW omg, it was breathtaking. The beautiful pool and then the view of the Caribbean Sea, was everything! Dining was good at the buffet, lots of options. Fresh fruits and vegetables were always available at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dessert options were also good, the bread pudding was a hit. Their grilled salmon, tuna puffs and lamb were really good. I have to shout out Orlando the Fantastic and Renee (fair complexion). They served us with excellence. They were warm, genuine and went above and beyond to ensure that our family was comfortable at the times they were on duty. Generally speaking, it was a good trip and I'm looking forward to returning.

I loved the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach!! I was a little nervous after reading the reviews, but you shouldn't be! Staff was super friendly and kind the whole entire trip. I thought the food was really good. We ate at the buffet for most meals, but did try dinner at the Mediterranean restaurant. I thought they had a really good selection of fruit at the buffet and there were some authentic Jamaican dishes served! For the rooms, it was everything that we needed. We got 2 full sized beds, they were comfortable enough for what we needed. Room was very cool, which was nice in the heat! Drinks are a little bit sugary, that's my only complaint there, but I still loved them! I thought for the price of this resort, we got everything we needed and more. Also it is super close to the airport! Taxi was super cheap going to and from airport. You can also book excursions through the hotel, which is such a nice bonus. I would recommend this spot! It's a pretty small resort, which I enjoyed because you can't get lost! I would stay here again if I came to Jamaica!

I emailed twice for an anniversary package,when I got there they did not do it, they offered for the next day and I said no.We had to get changed to another room because air conditioning was not working. After speaking with manager D. Smith he found a room after saying there was none, but regardless he was VERY helpful,polite and understanding. A lot of the Staff were simply rude, others were good. The beach was wonderful! Definitely not a 4 star,but you get what you pay for, so for the price it was alright. Issues: Air conditioning in property overall seems to not be working well. No atm inside the hotel. Room smelled moldy. Both rooms had at least 1 thing broken and not replaced. Food is not being refilled in a timely manner or kept warm enough. No signs for meal times or dress code for dinning area. Too many flies. Needs Better entertainment or signs to let people know you go can go to the other Royal for that.

Beach is beautiful but resort loses points for the food and unpleasant staff. The food was always running out at the buffet. If you have a certain amount of guests at your establishment then you need to prepare enough food for them. The staff were always very short and borderline rude when you ask them about it. Some would tell you no and walk away. There were a few helpful people but it was few and far between. No ac anywhere on the grounds except in the rooms. So be prepared to sweat at meals. If it rains, good luck staying dry anywhere except your room. There were constant floods and leaks during the downpours. I would think if you are building a resort in the tropics you would put thought into keeping it dry when it rains. Bottom line, I won’t be back. Too many shortcomings for me to spend money here again.

The dining area customer service and food presentation left much to be desired. The cold meat, salad and vegetable area seemed to be a health hazard. Many persons who travelled with me reported to have loose stool or diarrhea by the second or third day of stay and they had only consumed food from the hotel buffet. The beach on the property is lovely and the rooms are well kept, but the food situation detracted from my stay heavily.

My experience at the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach was extremely disappointing. We arrived for check-in at 3 PM and, despite waiting until 5 PM, our room was not ready. What made matters worse was the complete lack of communication or apology from the staff. It felt like we were invisible, as no one bothered to update us or express any concern for our situation. This level of neglect is simply unacceptable, and I cannot recommend this resort to anyone. The entire staff needs significant training in hospitality to ensure a more positive experience for guests. To compound our disappointment, my husband is vegan. On the first evening, when we went to the buffet, we were shocked to find not a single item that he could eat. In desperation, he approached a chef at the front who was slicing lamb to inquire about his options. Shockingly, the chef told him he could prepare something vegan but only if my husband gave him a substantial tip. So, in addition to the cost of staying at this all-inclusive resort, they tried to extort my husband just to have a proper dinner. I cannot stress enough how strongly I do not recommend this place.

Title: A Disappointing Experience Review: We recently stayed at this resort with a group of 10 friends and family members, and our overall experience left us deeply dissatisfied. Unfortunately, we feel compelled to share our feedback to prevent others from having a similarly unpleasant vacation. Regarding the room, we encountered several issues. The shower had poor water pressure, the bathroom leaked water, soaking the entire room, the minibar was warm, and the room's light was out. These combined inconveniences significantly impacted our comfort during our stay. The all-inclusive package, which should enhance the vacation experience, fell short of expectations. The hotel seemed to make every effort to discourage guests from utilizing the all-inclusive amenities. The food variety was limited, and after 2 hours into breakfast, there was no more food available. The existing dishes were excessively spicy, even for those accustomed to high levels of heat. Moreover, there was a shortage of utensils and plates, and requests for replenishment were met with audible frustration from the staff. Warm beer and frequent shortages during the all-inclusive period further added to our disappointment. The behavior of the staff was another significant drawback. Unwelcoming and seemingly uninterested, the employees exhibited unfriendly attitudes and made it clear they did not enjoy serving guests. Greetings were met with grumbles, and the staff consistently requested tips, despite providing subpar service. The most memorable aspect of our stay was the universally poor service from all staff members we encountered. Even during checkout, when expressing our concerns to the receptionist, the response was indifferent – a simple collection of the key, without addressing our feedback. Regrettably, we cannot recommend this resort to anyone. The combination of room issues, lackluster all-inclusive offerings, and consistently poor staff behavior made our stay far from enjoyable. We hope that our experience serves as a cautionary tale for those considering this resort for their vacation destination.

This experience was immaculate The staff was amazing. The food was so good. Dancing outside with nahzir was so much fun. Ive been to many countries but Andre has to be the best bartender in the world!!!.. Also we had a little problem in our Room but Reid came really fast and fixed it. Everything was wonderful. I will highly recommend my friends and family to stay here.. Great job! 5 Stars.

Hotel is all- inclusive JamRock Cafe food is always different and caters to their demographic of customers. The bathroom is clean but needs to be updated; the shower is dated. Housekeeping, they need to remember to dust surfaces. Staff are polite, professional, and willing to assist at all times. I love night-time entertainment. However, I feel it is aimed mainly at couples.

This hotel has a great location with very friendly staff that goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The facility is well taken care of and very clean. Beach and pool are beautiful. This hotel has a lot of extras so make sure you Check them all out. Also the amount of food options Is huge. I would highly recommend this place. 5 stars from me!

Definitely not a 4 Star Hotel, 3 at the most! Rooms: -The rooms here have been severely neglected. When we first arrived I was shocked to see that there was no bathroom door and just a old brown curtain -The best bases are torn and worn and in need of a replacement -The AC systems are horrendous, we had to call maintenance numerous times as our AC constantly stopped working. This resulted in us having to change rooms in the night as they could not fix it. This also happened in 2 other rooms on our floor -The bathroom state was not good, hair in the drains, limescale on the taps and just horrible dirty tiles. -When you take a shower the water just runs out the bathroom with you -NO TEA OR COFFEE FACILITIES IN THE ROOM. This is a standard for even 2 stars Service: Service was nothing to parade about. We had a few nice servers but some definitely are not up to standard. Long waiting times for just a cup of tea in the morning. I assumed they were short staffed as they would often seat you and forget about you and it would take forever to receive a drink Food: The hotel mainly caters for Americans and we found that they lacked in Jamaican cuisine, it was very disappointing as I travel to Jamaica to get a taste of Jamaica not the USA Hotel & Entertainment: Overall the hotel beach was lovely, well maintained but the shower heads are in serious need of replacing. Beach staff were also lovely and friendly. Seriously lacking in entertainment, if you are spending the evening in the hotel prepared to be bored. Overall if you are a family on a budget you can make the most of your stay but I would not stay here again, very sad as the hotel has loads of potential but defiantly needs some serious work

Excellent customer service. I am allergic to wheat/gluten, soy, dairy and eggs which I was super worried about but the chefs prepared special meals for me. They were amazing. The staff are exceptional, every single one of them we came across.

Just arrived back from a holiday with my daughter our first time to Jamaica, Hotel was very good, food and service was excellent, the beach and outside areas were clean and always had staff maintaining them throughout the day. Only had one issue within our stay which was we were left without towels for 1 day due to a laundry delivery not arriving. Would recommend this hotel though as storys I'd heard throughout my stay about other hotels in the area made me feel thankful we were here .

This was our second time to the royal Decameron Cornwall. Approximately a year apart , two very different experiences. We love this little resort… amazing beach , amazing staff and location .. however this time it felt understaffed. There wasn’t anything going on. The food wasn’t nearly as good as we remembered either.

The food was horrible. I got chicken one night that was still raw & when I informed them about it, they told me it was a new jerk. There were not many different selections to choice from. What didn't get gone for dinner was put out again the next morning for breakfast. I asked for a omelet, when I got back to my table the effects was still raw. The 3rd day there, the water in my room went out, the sink backed up with dirty black water. I called the from desk and told them, they said someone was coming and they never did come. The room smelled horrible from the dirty room in the sink. I wouldn't suggest anyone stay at this resort. It will ruin, your whole Jamaica experience.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were rude and ignored your requests. There was several days where cleaning staff did not have toilet paper, room towels or water. I waited 3 days to get pool towels as they never had any. The food in the buffet was not on heaters to ensure safe eating temperatures. It was a small resort which we wanted and the location was awesome.

I have one more night to go and would like to share my experiences while it is still fresh in my mind. So overall my experience has been good. There is definitely communication lacking from the front desk. The Bad: We had to figure out a lot of things ourselves like wake up really early to get pool towels, we had to scramble to get pool chairs, line up to book your la cart by 9am, be on time for food, or you will have trouble finding utensils, and food choices may be limited, shower was very luke warm at best, beds became a little stiff 4 days in. The good: Gorgeous location, some staff are really helpful. Shoutout to the maintenance man that fixed the door latch on my door and my safe within 30 mins of arriving. I am sorry I forgot your name. Best bread, salsa, chicken ever tasted. We went to the hip strip as a group, and they asked for our room numbers which was nice to ensure that keep guests accounted for. I see staff working here everyday, constantly doing something, working hard to improve the resort and the guests experiences. I think there is great potential here, with better communication, more staff and resources. :)

The food was good and there was lots of variety. The room was good- clean. I came to here a few years ago, before COVID 19 and the service was excellent with lots of activities to do and servers were very friendly. I saw lots of people tipping constantly. Sure, most people tipped $1.00 ISD but I'm sure that added up for servers in a day! Especially as more people came back for drinks at the bar. Workers seemed generally happy and the entertainers were constantly out- happy and busy doing events. This time that I came around in 2024 the service has really tanked! I had to constantly ask the servers for water for my kiddo because they would overlook him at every meal and not serve him water. Many times, I just gave him my water and then they would give me a water after the fact. In terms of entertainment. We only saw shows late at night and we soon learned that things that were advertised for children were not actually being held. My kiddo really wanted to feed fish and get facepaint on our first day there and NO ONE seem to know about where this would be held. We figured they had advertised it but didn't actually have it on. The Corwall side was not great for service, but from time to time we would get someone very nice to help us at meal time. When we went over to the Royal Decameron side- that was really bad. The one time we went, the lady completely ignored my request for water for my child, then I asked for juice and she ignored me too. Then I asked for a cup of ice as it was very hot. Eventually my kiddo's dad just got up and went to look for ice on his own. I gave my kiddo my water. The servers just seemed very bothered by any of our requests. I was so surprised by how bad the service has gone down. I was told that the hotel was sold to someone else. I wonder if that's why the service is impacted, or is the whole economy around the world so bad that people just feel resentful? Wish they were being owned by the previous owner who actually made this a really good place to stay at before COVID. This place could be SO MUCH MORE and it used to be SO MUCH BETTER! I remember special little perks that made it so magical, like we once had mimosas being served outside while it started to rain, or coconuts being cut and served outside and a fire show in the sand one evening. There was also some guy walking around in stilts that children would think was so cool! I think small perks and some new features would improve this place- such as building a small water park feature for the children would be really cool, some large bubble blowing entertainers, instant sit down massages out in the beach, nail work out and about, hair services ect. They do have a spa- but you have to book it ahead and it's expensive! A funny feature they do have are people going up and down the beach selling weed- hahhha! OMG!

The experience at this hotel really left a bad impression given it was our first time in Jamaica. The hotel itself is nice, but very poorly ran. 9 out of every 10 members of the staff you’d encounter (including dining, front desk, and bartenders) were very rude. Dining room staff would glare at you when you would ask for minimal items like silverware, which they never seemed to have on deck. At one point one lady threw the items at us on the table, my family and I were baffled. The buffet food was subpar, carb heavy, unseasoned, and they would run out of food 1.5 hours into breakfast or dinner, I saw so many tourists fighting for scraps. Water and toilet paper were scarce. We constantly had to ask to have more water and toilet paper restocked in our room and front desk staff treated us as if we were inconveniencing them— when water and toilet paper are BASIC human necessities. You could also really feel the tension between tourists and staff members. The majority of those dining room staff and bartenders do the bare minimum and they do it like they despise servicing others. I’m not sure if they either hate their job or they just hate having to service tourists. Looking around the room, especially in the dining area, it was very obvious that there was a huge amount of tension and you would just see other guests constantly shaking their heads, looking downcast, stressed or upset. It was clear this bad experience was shared by numerous guests. At one point we returned to our room after a full day out and our safe box was malfunctioning, when it had been working fine before we left the room— It was very suspicious. Not only this, but when they sent the person to come and repair it, we gave him a tip and he COMPLAINED about the tip we gave him, demanding a higher tip. It was just unbelievable. My family and I pretty much felt like we were at the mercy of these individuals and their poor treatment. We were in a new country, not knowing anyone, or our way around and our stay was already paid for and there was no ability to cancel and go to a different hotel, which if we could have done, we honestly would have. On top of that, you don’t really know how safe you really are. It was distressing and fear inducing. We went into our vacation excited to relax and enjoy our time-off, and honestly left stressed, bummed out, and with a really bad taste in our mouth. Will never return or recommend this hotel or even this chain to anyone. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.

A great location only a short transfer from the airport, and with excellent snorkelling right off the excellent beach & jetties (saw stingray, squid, squirrelfish, groupers, angel fish & many more). Sadly let down by variable food quality, restaurant setup (they kept running out of plates), and some very poor bar service at times (unless you tip up front to get the required staff 'attention'). There is also an especially bizarre refusal to provide regular black tea bags and teaspoons - hence the sight of everyone using the handle of their fork to stir their coffee! A couple of great individual entertainment acts in the evening shows, but barely enough to sustain a 1 week stay, after which it started to feel repetitive.

The overall experience was very good. The property is beautiful and the view is awesome. I loved that all rooms had beach view. I wanted a peaceful vacation and got just that. We also had access to the other property. Most staff members were very courteous but a few need help with customer service. I would go again.

I recently stayed at the Royal Decameron Cornwall in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and unfortunately, our experience was not good. Our first day there we had to change rooms because the toilet wasn’t working, it was missing a bathroom door only a curtain was hung up, the phone in the room did not work, and the safe was broken We were moved to another room, only to face more plumbing issues. The water in the shower and sink was either making loud noises or not coming out at all, and the hot water was hit or miss. Housekeeping did not leave enough towels and kept saying they would bring more but never did. Several times we had to request towels from the front desk ourselves. Even some of the furniture was in poor condition, the chair on the patio had a hole in it we couldn’t sit on it. Most disappointing, was the customer service. Many of the staff members were disinterested and rude. Several times I had to get my own utensils and napkins. One employee flat out told us she could not assist further because her shift had ended. What was also a red flag is that literally the same time we were checking in were heard another guest complaining to a staff member about the service. I heard her say “I will do everything in my power to make sure no one stays here” I love Jamaica. It’s my second home. But I will never stay at Decameron again.

Alert 🚨 This Beach 🏖 is NO Longer open for swimming. It is being renovated to be the new terminal to welcome cruise ships 🛳

This is only a beach with a snacks table and bathroom. There are a few picnic tables. There is no play ground or any other activities. You are much better off going to doctors cove for a few dollars more. Hours are 9-5.

I love the renovations. The place is really clean and not overcrowdedm nice soit if you wanna hang out with family or friends.

There is no theme park here. Condemned shanty town filled with junkies and homeless people. It looks more like Chernobyl than a water park. The “go kart track” looks like something out of the flinstones. Watch out for Bigfoot/Bigfeet, local scam artist that tried to rob us at a local ATM. Would highly recommend the Pork Pit across the street though. Amazing jerked chicken!

An aesthetic upgrade is required. Once you get past that you can have real fun here. There is a skating rink, go cart ride. If you have little regards foe opinions you can get massaged on the brach. Then you can stay the night for the exotic club.

Price is affordable, beach was not crowded, have place to wash off also to change your clothes, inside parking etc...

Always a pleasure visiting this spot, family friendly venue, very clean beach, life guard always on duty, paid entry but very affordable, snacks and drinks sold on spot also at really affordable prices, and close to all the other food spots in Montego Bay like Pork Pit ( Real good food ), KFC and some others

Service received from Desmond and Shanique today was top notch! The ambiance was great with excellent view of the marina and the food was delicious. They also have great drink options. I definitely recommend 👌

This yacht club was refreshing! It was very laid back and the bartender was very friendly! We sat under the gazebo which was clean and inviting since it was by the water. The bathrooms were well kept and clean also and the staff was professional and friendly. We went on the HRH Mimosa which is top notch! The on board service was great and I felt safe the entire time. We caught the sunset which was really beautiful and the vibe was light and happy on board!

It's always a pleasure dining here the food is great , the setting is so peaceful 10 out of 10 I recomend☺️

Beautiful views over the harbor and hills. Settings was charming, and relaxing. A great place to unwind after a hard, stressful day at work...just looking out over the water you could feel the weight of the day lifting. The food, the food, "lawd" was soo good! I had the catch of the day, 'parrot fish', delicious!!!. Hats off to the Lady Chef, she know her tings.👍🏽 Highly recommend the Marina Palm Restaurant, be it for a birthday dinner gathering or just chilling.

The food was immaculate . This is the first place I went and actually enjoyed my Alfredo. The seasoning was equal it did not have too much of anything. The customer service was great and the price is very reasonable. I’m looking forward to coming back again. Keep that chef for a long term💯

A fun environment full of friendly people, a helpful staff, and good WiFi that’s free to use are a few of the things I liked about the Montego Bay Yacht Club (MBYC). I haven’t tried the food yet, but it looked tasty enough that I may make it back there before leaving MoBay.

Took the Yatch out today then stayed for drinks and dinner. Always great service, staff and people.

The setting is very kool and calming with prompt service from the waitress. Meal was also prepared & served without a long wait

The town needs some upgrade, perhaps a tax on visiting cruise ships and spent on local infrastructure, make a city more walkable, perhaps a pedestrianized street or two, and a promenade linking harbour to Hip Strip. I know these are expensive projects but I have a feeling Mobay is dying rather than developing. Would be a shame, it's got such a potential!

Sam Sharpe Square was very busy; both motor vehicles and pedestrians.The surrounding areas/street was clean. The many different street vendors, fast food restaurants and stores made shopping quite easy in the close surrounding. Great experience.

If you had gone to Sam Sharpe Square last year, this year is better because it was upgraded a little (60%) the waterfalls and few business places that surrounded it.. Everybody walk, run, ride, drive on it. For tourists attraction, there is a little section there were the heroes of Jamaica hosted. Once you book your tour, apparently, that's how you will get a tour guide, and they will tell you how it all went. There is also a museum in the Square, 🍔Burger King, pharmacy, ATM (bank), that visitors would have wanted, and other Jamaican stuff. See for yourself.

Sam Sharpe Square is a renowned area of Montego Bay Centre in recognition of Sam Sharpe. Sam Sharpe was an instrumental of the Slave Rebellion of 1831, which led in part of bringing an end of slavery in Jamaica. Sam Sharpe is a very small square surrounded by the bustling downtown Montego Bay workers, cars and street vendors, he is a national hero of Jamaica. Next to his statue holding the Bible and speaking to his people is the Cage which used to be a jail for runaway slaves which is now a Jamaican food outlet. It’s a place of historical value as the courthouse overlooking the square is where he was tried and executed, so is a place to reflect on the rich history of Jamaica and Slavery

Great historical place. One of the place qhere many people hang out, meet up and just chill. One of the most iconic places in Jamaica.

Cultural experience. We visited the National Gallery West and did a self-guided tour of the museum and other exhibits. It was well worth it. Very informative, especially the bits on the history of Montego Bay! There was a banking promotion taking place in the Square at the moment. It was fun to watch choreographed dancing to local music. The square itself was a bit crowded and somewhat disorganized, probably intimidating to a non-local, but there was no actual threat.

It's a landmark. Almost always buzzing with social energy. The newly renovated water fountain and statues are great for the ambience and the free wifi is a plus. If you're from out of town, it's a must visit.

Can be quite busy during the days especially on weekends. There are many food establishments there such as Burger King and Juci Patties. You can also find Scotia bank and Victoria Mutual and with 24 hr 🏧 for NCB. You will also encounter Street people but they don't usually harass people. The Civic Centre and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security office are also locates in this area. There are also street food, clothing etc vendors and stores, pharmacies, furniture stores, Barber, Hair and Nail salons, Tailor shop, super markets, Vendors with freshly baked Time and Patience breads and bulla. There is also public wifi available.

Sam Sharpe Sq hosts a rich display of Jamaica's history for anyone who is interested in learning about key components of our past. Sam Sharpe Sq provides that opportunity. From the Cage to the Freedom Fountain and Statues, there is so much rich history to take in. On any given day, there is always a guide who is willing to give you a tour of the various sites

Interesting square. Historic representation, completely surrounded by urban growth, including the heavily armed Police presence. We were parked next to it for ten minutes while our guild went for Juicy Patties for our group to taste.

I honestly don't think it's in the state it should be to attract tourist or locals...it wasn't the best in terms of cleanliness...I think hey need to do better with the square.

Very strong culture with a mix of History. Many shops and other businesses in the square, from Banks to bakeries. Traffic is slow-moving in the afternoons, especially on the weekends. Huge crows of people communing through the square; mostly coming from work. Few little tourists are seen in this area. Fruits vendors can be seen on a few of the corners, also street food charts. There's also the presence of the security force that patrols the area which keeps the peace and gives a safe environment.

Great place to hang for local and tourist who are interesting to know about 🇯🇲 history

A very busy square, absolutely cool. Here you truly feel the Jamaican vibe. There is a lot of traffic and you a lot of merchants and that is exactly what that irony which I so love about Jamaica: Easy going and relaxed, but on one hand very very busy :) It’s best to visit the square of season and when no cruise ship is here, only so you truly experience it,

It's a very relaxing and comfortable environment for you to enjoy with friends and family

The fresh water pool is everything. You can actually drink it. Lol. Don't drink the water uou swim in but they do have areas for drinking water. Natural spring

It was a nice experience. The water was cool

It has a large pool for adults and a smaller pool for children. The view is breathtaking minus the quarry. I recommend carrying food and drink yourself though, if not food is sold there.

The grounds are pretty and the crew was very nice and friendly.

Serene environment. Great place to go hiking or maybe for a picnic. I attended a church service there and it was an amazing experience.
