The "Centro de Textiles del Mundo Maya" was an amazing experience. We came on a Sunday so the admission fee was free (0$ only on Sundays). It was a beautiful collection of textiles and artifacts from Guatemala and Mexico, I spent hours looking through their amazing collection of fabrics and weavings and quilts.

I don't work in textiles, I am not an artisan or a seamstress and I don't knit or embroider. But I found this an excellent museum to visit for two main reasons: I learned a little about the whole topic by watching the three very good, short videos at the beginning (only in Spanish) that talk about the project of restoration of the ex-convent where the museum is housed, the nature of textiles across history and the region, and finally the making of textiles by hand. The other aspect I appreciate is how small it is, mainly consisting of one large room with plenty of samples of different colors, techniques and traditions. All the information was in Spanish though. It's an incredibly well funded venture, encompassing more than just a museum. They have restored the ex-convent to house the museum and several other expositions. Through workshops and education, they seek to not only preserve traditional methods of weaving and tinting, but also to teach local indigenous people groups alternative techniques. Visiting this museum was time well spent (and it's free entry), and I can certainly now appreciate the incredible skill and time that goes into each hand made item of clothing.

Huge collection, wonderful service by the staff; you can see the reverence the Mayan textiles and its history are treated with. A favorite place in SanCris, and in México. If you want to learn about San Cristobal's history this is a good place to start. They have in exhibition ceramic sculptures of the first civilization in the state also they have artifacts from the Spanish Conquest, but the best and my favourite part is the Textile exhibition, it's not a big exhibition but it has a lot of different textiles from Chiapas and from Guatemala.

Well worth a visit. The exhibits of textiles and customs in Mexico and Hispanic regions are very detailed and comprehensive. The building entrance is behind the market so might be hard to find. Rather few visitors which is nice. Building itself is lovely too with a beautiful square and old well. The guard inside is a lovely guy who does knitting in spare time for sales.

The museum is small but very interesting. We also had lunch here which was a huge mistake. We were booked to eat at a restaurant for dinner so only wanted som light bites. Mushroom soup was inedible - so sweet as to be more like breakfast cereal. The bread served alongside side it was mouldy. French fries hadn’t been cooked properly. Come for the museum but avoid the food!

My favorite museum in the city. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the organization that now takes care of the space is very devoted too. I found the introductory video very interesting too (as it shows the history of the couple that lived in the house and eventually made it a public space). Then the rooms are curated to showcase how mapping and cartography have evolved with historical visions, and can easily reproduce/impose extractionist views on local communities (in this case, the lacandones, mainly). Great experience!

If you love learning about Maya Culture and history of the 1900s to present day you will love this Museum and hotel Combination. It also includes Photography galleries, a horticultural center and rooms and rooms of art and gardens. The restaurant Cuisine is very affordable but INCREDIBLY delicious. High quality, fresh authentic and some of the best we had on the trip! It's not boring safe Cuisine- - it's really an experience. The Staff was so friendly and enthusiastic! The rooms are cozy, cool, and very Comfortable. We loved having a fire in the room after a soak in the jacuzzi tub. Plus there are additional bathrooms near by. Internet works great. Some people might not like the following: About a 5-10 minute wait to get a taxi outside. street pavement outside a little rough. About 10- 15 min walk to busier areas. No TP goes in the toilet.

We got to meet an artist from Mass. who was working on an art project for the garden area. The history and efforts put forward by the founders is truly amazing. Visited the museum. Which is mostly about the adventures of the European couple who lived here in the late 1940's and early 50's. Many early photos and artifacts of the loal indigenous people. They depict the life and times of the native population. Rather than race through the exhibit, take some time to sit on one of the leather benches in the entry area. Listen to the birds chirping. Occasionally someone plays the grand piano. Lovely! Enjoy the beauty of the gardens. Wonder what it must have been like to live here.

The Museum is very nice For a reasonable ~50 MEX pesos you can have a look at tons of beautiful pieces of amber, including fossils and intricate sculptures, there is a english brochure that they give you ( if you ask) and that helps for non-spanish speakers.

Fee is inexpensive, less than 2 USD. Allow at least an hour or 1.5 hours. Nice shop which includes certificate of authenticity. Staff is attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. Learn here before buying on the street or in the market. Spend a few minutes watching the videos at the end of the exhibit.

This place was amazing! My girlfriend and I love visiting museums in every Latin American country, this one did not disappoint! Only wish that it was longer//expanded but for what it is there are some amazing pieces in there. It really takes you back in time given they have a multi million year old pieces of amber there. Truly cool Stuff. You’ll spend maybe 1 hour to 90 mins there. I believe it’s 40 pesos per adult. Enjoy!

A Must-Visit in San Cristobal. This museum is in a historical building convent. It keeps the most Amazing unique Amber collection with pride and care. If you are curious to see (or purchase) this million-years old rock this is a great place. We have visit the workshop and discussed with the artists that worked on the pieces and its director and curator. It was a great and authentic experience. We highly recommend you visit this place.

A small museum of amber. Interesting exposition and a few short films about amber extraction and processing. Everything is in Spanish, but they do provide a short booklet with explanation in different languages including English. Also you can check history and architecture of former convent and army barracks.

An orchids garden made with a lot of love and attention to detail. We visited in the mid of January, and sadly most orchids were already gone. Still very nice if you want to get out of town a bit and don't have a lot of time / access to a car :-) definitely do the trail, there is a nice cool breeze and some more plants and birds!

A must see, if you enjoy flowers! It's a short Taxi ride. You can stroll through the garden and glasshouses, even sit and relax. Unfortunally no drinks are served, bring at least water! If you want more, there is a naturetrail up the hill with more examples of this beautiful flowers!

We really enjoyed our afternoon here. The trails are great ( wear good footwear) the pines are tall and the forest is beautiful. There is a cave down by the river that you can check out. The orchids in and out of the greenhouses and other flowers were absolutely stunning! Friendly staff, and easy place ( 30 min) to walk to from Centro San Cristobal.

Awesome little oasis! The hoop house here is a treat if you’re looking for a little humidity after a dry spell in the mountains. Plenty of great flora to check out and spend an hour or two soaking up the smells.

If you come in the dry season, don't bother to visit this garden. We came in January and were very disappointed. There are very few flowers, half dry, and the place itself is not well kept.

Worth the money but ridiculous that foreigners have to pay 6x more. Lets apply that rule to Mexicans in my country too. Good hike. Not many people in the weekend. Enjoy the silence of the nature! I’d wish there was an outdoor swimming pool!

Wonderful place, especially for those having a green heart 💚. It comprises the orchid garden (there are more than orchids there) and the natural reserve. The tickets are sold separately (but they're not expensive). The natural reserve is a nice hill, which can be walked in 3 hours round trip (due to time I did not do it). If there is a group, you could have a guide through the orchid section. I highly recommend. Don Manuel knows a lot and is very passionate about all plants. Definitely a huge bonus when visiting this venue. All in all, one of the best outdoor activities to do in San Cristobal.

Loved it! It is a place with medium level hike. You can go up on one side and go down from the other. It is like a circle if you go to the top. I didn't know that and left an empty bottle (i couldn't carry it) thinking that on the way back I would certainly pick it up to throw. But, no, descended on the other side. Was very regretful and shameful, so I asked forest how I could help, and found another empty bottle trashed by smb else ))) I picked it up to throw. It is silent. Trees. Eagles. Mountains on the horizon. Different kind of orquids and other plants. Ferns. My cellphone was full of photos. The place to visit. It is a must

Enjoyed our visit to this museum where you will not only learn about jade but also about how various cultures used and appreciated the gem. Quite interesting. The museum store sells real jade so don't expect street and market prices. Low entrance fee. Allow one to 1.5 hours.

I don't know why this place got low reviews. It was small and yes, the pieces are reproductions, but it was highly informative and a fascinting blend of mesoamerican and geological history. They even had an English booklet to translate all the signs. There's a replication of Pakal's funeral tomb at the back which was also beautiful both for history buffs and the casual visitor alike. The gift shop was very expensive but treated like an extension of the museum (especially with the live, built-workshop) it was lovely to look at. Plus you get a discount at the Kakao museum with your ticket from here which makes for a nice afternoon combined.

This is basically a huge jade shop. The displays are not well done. It looks a bit like a children's project. Also the English translation book that they give you is not the same as what is written on the actual displays. Many lightbulbs blown in displays . I found it tacky and cheap looking and it did not honor the beautiful jade work that was trying to be represented. Disappointing.

Like the previous reviewers state, the museum is closed due to relocating. They only have the Jade and Kakaw shop opened.

The park is beautiful. I absolutely enjoyed the Grutas. Definitely a must. There is a small hike. You can definitely spend the whole day here. Bring some food and have a picnic.

Amazing natural place that is so close from San Christobal, just take a local bus! The caves are incredible and so much better than ever expected! Also just perfect for a lovely walk in nature or a picknick

Amazing place to go rock climbing. If you want to climb you need to bring all your own equipment, partner, etc. Wouldn't really recommend it for beginners because the routes, protection, lowering/cleaning logistics can all be a bit complicated but there are several great 5.10 routes and plenty a lot harder.

Oh my gosh! What a fantastic and cheap day out you can have here! Only $15 pesos pp in a collectivo which drops you right at the entrance and $10 pesos to enter! We chose to do the hike along the river/ stream and it was so much fun! It was actually quite challenging at times (boyfriend fell in the stream slipping off a rock haha!) But we had our packed lunch on a huge rock in the sun surrounded by colourful dragonflies, we saw a snake further up in the grass which was exciting and scary at the same time and we explored the caves - definitely worth the $15 pesos in my opinion! We went on a Saturday and it wasn't even busy! It's so tranquil and worth a day out if you're missing nature! Highly recommend!!

It was really nice visit, we arrived with a "collectivo" from the market (15 pesos), the entrance was 15 pesos as well the park is big and beautiful, there is option to go inside the cave with additional cost of 20 pesos per person And there are restaurants and places to buy drinks, and sit in the park Very nice for a half day trip

The level of enjoyment you get from this place will depend on your expectations. If you are expecting a well organized, entertaining activities and lots to do, you might be disappointed. It doesn't have a lot of information, it is run by local indigenous people in a very laid back, simple way, and although there are different things to do, it is not overly entertaining in itself. The entry is $10 pesos p/person. There are grounds you can walk or bike through. Fun place to take photos. The natural arc rock is free. The Zipline is $150 per person, and it includes two ziplines. Was safe enough. To enter the grotto is $15 pesos per person. This is kind of different and fun. But crowd control is not practiced: it can get a bit cramped in some of the small places. Also hard access for overweight or really tall people. There were also option of boat rides, rappelling, camping and tightrope. But we didn't participate in those. My teenage children moatly enjoyed because of the novelty of the grotto, riding their bikes and the ziplines, and they had their drone and camera to play around taking cool photos. It would've been nice to take a picnic, or to rent a palapa and have a BBQ on the grill, but we didn't plan accordingly. Overall, it is a lovely spot for a day out in nature. It was so clean and fresh, and plenty of families were out and about enjoying the sunshine. It has a restaurant and a comedor selling snacks, but we didn't try those out either. I gave it 5 start because it is really is a nice place to visit, I loved the grotto, and the excuse to hang out with my family. But I also understand that it is not a highly modernized and efficient tourist attraction.

Beautiful place, to enter the grote you need to pay 15 peso for the entry which is worth. It's bright and the grote has light in it , the view is stunning. I truly recommend it. I'm not sure about the beginning if you enter the park you may need to pay 10 peso but I'm not sure if it's really a government thing or if a local just makes some extra money , which i believe.

It was just incredible! I went there in early September. Usually sunny in the morning and it starts rain in the afternoon or evening in this season. We got there about 9am and stayed till about noon. The weather was fantastic. We took a colectivo from the centro (10 pesos) to get there and came back too (15 pesos). A local told me that colectivos were running every 10-15 min. Super convenient. The park entrance fee is only 10 pesos. There is an incredible cave. (extra 15 pesos) This cave is a must-see!!

Beautiful and unique spot. There's an entry fee of 10 pesos per person for the park and then a further 15 pesos if you want to go into the caves. Definitely worth the extra 15, atleast once. Stunning and strikes a nice balance in eco tourism. Well looked after, but still allowing us to go in and enjoy the place.

Its a very pretty place to spend time in nature. And sit by the river. The caves are amazing!!! Nothing like I ve ever seen before. Amazed by the formations. 15 pesos to enter. I went on New Yrs Day 💫 It was a very local experience!

We saw the Arch first and was blown away at the size and beauty! Then we found our way to the cave which has stunning formations and amazing openings with views below the Arch. The wild flowers along the trail and the fresh air were also a pleasant change from being in the city. We are older and in okay shape and we found it not strenuous, taking our time to go up the steps and squeeze/squat through several small openings…. Totally worth it and I highly recommend not missing this place if you are in San Cristobal. But one thing no one has mentioned, is the little snack and food place there has by far the best empanadas we had our entire Mexico trip! I could see the young lady making the dough and pressing it to make the empanadas by hand. There were bags of ears of dried corn next to the kitchen so my bet is she makes the corn flour as well. Don’t miss those empanadas if visiting Arcotete! They are big, we were stuffed with two each! We took a private taxi there and back… I highly recommend this so you are not rushed!

Nice park to walk around and picnic. U can rent a table, zip line and rock climb. Also the caves are a must. Dog friendly. The restrooms are always pretty clean.

My experience here was completely magical. 🍃🏞️ You can take transport to here for $25 pesos, the entrance cost $10 pesos and some activities inside like tirolesa are cheap too likewise the ticket to see the grottoes, wich are really a magestic experience. 🏞️ You can just walk around and find the mos peaceful place to read your favorite book, to meditate or just enjoy the sound of the water flowing. I also found very cute mushrooms 🍄😚 You shouldn't doubt to come visit this amazing place in San Cristóbal, i'm sure you would love it! 📸🏞️

Absolutely adorable "indie" spot. Staff were so sweet and the food was delightful. Lovely terrace where you can catch a sunset if the weather cooperates. Extensive tea list and menu that extends beyond the usual suspects (not that I don't love tacos, but nice to diversify!). Highly recommend and would definitely return if I'm ever back in town. They also have a small cinema where they show indie films and documentaries, but FYI most are in Spanish.

A bit of a hidden local gem. One of my favorite hang out spots in San Cristóbal. They have really tasty milkshakes. The pizza was really bad. I barely finished half. But if you want to vibe out to a great song selection in an ambient place, this is your spot.

Came here so many times during our stay in San Cristobal de las Casas. The roibos chai is my personal fave. Also great salads and apps!

Their patios and especially the rooftop patio are the real stars here. They have a good tea, coffee and drinks menu. This is a favorite spot of mine to enjoy drinks and the view. The food is okay. Good pizza seems difficult to replicate in San Cristóbal. Service is usually attentive, prices are fair. I would recommend the drinks and the view.

We were here twice to watch the sunset on the terrace. The view is very nice and when it gets a little colder, you get ponchos. The prices are reasonable. The staff is helpful, but a little bit slow. In the same building there is also a cinema where you can watch independent movies.

One of my favorite places in Sancris. This time we just had time and my fried a Yellow Submarine (see pics). Great spot for a chill atmosphere with healthy options and great music. They have scheduled movies as well a rooms you can share with friends. Decor is cool 😎. Kinoki is special because this is where I learned about Prince's death during a live radio show recording. 💜

Great place with a Rooftop. Had a couple of meals there and drinks during our stay. Also visited the cinema to see the Zapatista documentary which was so interesting. Definitely a place to visit when in San Cristóbal

It’s a small museum but the pieces are truly gorgeous, the posters are vastly informative, and the staff are happy to clear up any doubts. Upon entering the exhibit, a magnifying glass will be offered to you. Don’t pass up the chances to use it! There are pieces with prehistoric organic material that are well worth a close inspection to truly appreciate the pieces’ beauty.

The pieces were beautiful and the employees were kind and helpful. One of them spoke wonderful English, and they all ensured we were taken care of and understood what was going on. We bought several amber pieces too!

if you want a diverse selection of ambar this is an excellent choice, the staff is attentive and informed and the ambar diverse and real. warning be careful in san cristobal purchasing ambar from street vendors as it could be fake.... not though at museo del ambar lilia mijangos...

The most impressive part of the trip, Don Sergio has dedicated the majority of his life to help the indigenous people in many capacities, as a dermatologist healing wounds (looks like diabetes is an issue among them bue to the excessive consumption of Coca-Cola), building wells and teaching the locals about health care. He acquired the items in the museum over the years.

Fantastic! Dr Castro has an amazing display of Chiapas village costumes, and an excellent slide show of local Festival days. More than that, his commitment to helping burn victims and other sick people in the villages surrounding San Cristobal is phenomenal. Go! Don't miss it!

one goes here to meet and talk with sergio castro, a true hero for so many. sergio has been the savior of so many burn victims in san cristobal and communities around this colonial city. he gives selfishly of his time, money and energy to help those who would be left to be scarred from their wounds a true saint for so many. the re is also an excellent collection of traditional clothing, but alas in a sad state of preservation.

Super interesting situation. Doctor Castro is an amazing generous person, very friendly and very welcoming and his collection of Trajes are incredible to see!

This was one museum I'll never forget. The knowledge and the cultural preservation is unparalleled. Do not miss this!

Lovely Catholic church located on top of a hill overlooking the quaint city of San Cristobal de Las Casas. You can either climb up the 79 steps or take a Collectivo up the hill to the back of the church.

It's a fun place to say you've seen. The steps are daunting but if you have limited mobility you can take a cab to the top and walk down. I've been told if you climb the steps with sincerity in your heart you can ask for a miracle. Inside is the Saint wrapped in ribbons for each miracle requested.

Stunning views from the top and not just the one at the front entrance. Lots of very slanted steps to climb up but if you can't handle them there's a somewhat steep hill around the side that takes you up via the back entrance to the grounds, or grab a quick collectivo or taxi. Beautiful view and beautiful architecture.

Beautiful church placed on a hill overlooking the city. You have a beautiful view from there, and the steps are an ideal place to rest a little. There are bathrooms next door for 5 pesos.

It won’t take you too long to walk up the stairs and have a somewhat nice view from above over San Cristobal, but the church itself isn’t that much worth it to see. It has some specific local decorations, but in the end it’s not like it has the wow-factor.

A nice yellow themed church that overlooks San Cristobal. Quite a walk from the city center so recommend getting a taxi.

Go here for the views and to admire this quaint, down-to-earth (no pun intended) church. Leave a donation or buy/dedicate a candle at the store/office next door. If you want to offer a candle there's a special chapel next to the office/store on the side of the church. Look for the building covered in smoke.

What an awesome experience! The staff are so friendly and informed. It is a guided tour ($50 per person )through their displays, which lasts about 30 mins, and includes two rooms. The tour guide answered our questions and explained the relevance of cocoa in the Mayan and Spanish eras, as well as the process of making chocolate. Then you get to taste both chocolate drink and a huge range of chocolate bars, including rosemary chocolate, banana chocolate and lemon grass chocolate. The service was fantastic, and the place is such a quaint little spot. They also have a cafe service, offering cold and hot drinks.

Small but interesting museum. Not much to see but worth the detour for the chocolate shop which is obviously free to enter. It also has a nice little inside terrasse for a coffee or better a hot chocolate. Also, the signs and explanations are as far as I can remember only in spanish.

A must to visit , much better than any cacao museum visited in Mexico , find Ms. Mayari to explain everything in the most professional way. Do not forget to grab some chocolates after the cacao tasting chocolate . 100% worth it as a destination to San Cristobal . An interesting museum for chocolate lovers. It's pretty small, but only costs 30 pesos so it's reasonable. The hot chocolate downstairs is delicious and in very good quality. The only problem is that only about half of the information is presented in both in English and Spanish, and the rest only in spanish.

The museum is moving to another building therefore is not open. The only thing you will find is a place where they sell chocolate. They don't know when they are to open in the new place.

We went there early in the afternoon and were told to come back at 6pm for a tour in english. So glad we did - we had an amazing time! Starting with the degustation of two hot cacao drinks, following with the visit to the museum. Our guide was great, full of knowledge and very sympathetic. We then finished with tasting many different chocolates produced in Mexico. Fully recommend!

Superinteresting and informative museum about the cacao/chocolate culture of mexico and mesoamerica. I joined a tour in English which included tasting of drinks and many different chocolate bars. I loved it. Amazing tastes and types! The only con is, it’s hard not to fall in love with the different tastes and buy in bulk for your family back home 🤣

I highly recommend the experience, coming from someone who isn't even that big of a chocolate fan! There are tours on the hour every hour (50 pesos) with (at the time of writing: April 2024) tours in English offered at 13:00 and 18:00. You learn about the process of making chocolate as well as the history of it in the region, which was all really interesting. I really enjoyed my tour which was led by Rubi who was happy to answer any and all questions. The tour concludes with some chocolate tasting (drinks and also solid chocolate) and finally you can buy some, if you like, but there's no obligation. There is also a workshop experience you can do where you make your own chocolate, but I didn't do this.

Amazing experience and guidance into the history of cacao. The chocolate tasting was also next level with varieties of chocolate + flavors I have never tasted before. It is advisable to check the time of the tour in English. A must do when you are in San Christobal!

One of the best experiences while my visit to San Cristobal de las Casas. The experience of create my own chocolate bar was incredible, for $300 pesos you have the opportunity to create your own bar and they explain you all the process and everything about cacao. Our experience was incredible, the guy who was our teacher he answer all our questions, he explained us everything from the cacao process to the chocolate creation, they’re super prepared about the topic and if you have the time is an amazing class!!! So worthy!!!! They’re cacao it’s amazing also, súper top quality!! Before they were closer to the center and soon they told us they’re going to change one block but not far at all and it’s a good activity and the museum it’s cool also.

Situated near D'Monica hotel where I stayed in Jamuary 2018, thats why I came across it. Very simple but effective architecture without too many ornaments. It was undergoing reconstruction and was closed.

Great view over San Cristóbal - for the most part. Unfortunately, trees block the way in all directions except to the front where the stairs are. Hence, it is not really worth it to go up here for the sunset. Yet, the church is a beautiful landmark which is well worth a visit - during the day. Also, for the fitness enthusiasts, the stairs are a great place to go for a work out in the mornings. You’ll love the view even more after having finished all stairs ten or fifteen times in a row… ;)

While I appreciated walking the (by my count 285 to the church door) steps, neither the views nor the church seem that great. You can go up a metal tower by a ladder for some adrenalin, some 100m behind the church to the left, where the fitness installations are. The view isn't much better though.

The kids counted 280 steps. Good! We did our math for the day. Haha, joking. Trees cover most of the view but it was still beautiful, quiet and sweet. You could also just drive up but if you can do the steps then just do it.

Very nice hike, if you choose to go thru the Sierra instead from the city side. The place is peaceful and beautiful. Provides a complete view of San Cristobal from up there.

Great exercise because it is quite a climb! The view is pretty great once there. Walk around the back of the church to see the communal gardens from above.

An orchids garden made with a lot of love and attention to detail. We visited in the mid of January, and sadly most orchids were already gone. Still very nice if you want to get out of town a bit and don't have a lot of time / access to a car :-) definitely do the trail, there is a nice cool breeze and some more plants and birds!

A must see, if you enjoy flowers! It's a short Taxi ride. You can stroll through the garden and glasshouses, even sit and relax. Unfortunally no drinks are served, bring at least water! If you want more, there is a naturetrail up the hill with more examples of this beautiful flowers!

We really enjoyed our afternoon here. The trails are great ( wear good footwear) the pines are tall and the forest is beautiful. There is a cave down by the river that you can check out. The orchids in and out of the greenhouses and other flowers were absolutely stunning! Friendly staff, and easy place ( 30 min) to walk to from Centro San Cristobal.

Awesome little oasis! The hoop house here is a treat if you’re looking for a little humidity after a dry spell in the mountains. Plenty of great flora to check out and spend an hour or two soaking up the smells.

If you come in the dry season, don't bother to visit this garden. We came in January and were very disappointed. There are very few flowers, half dry, and the place itself is not well kept.

Worth the money but ridiculous that foreigners have to pay 6x more. Lets apply that rule to Mexicans in my country too. Good hike. Not many people in the weekend. Enjoy the silence of the nature! I’d wish there was an outdoor swimming pool!

Wonderful place, especially for those having a green heart 💚. It comprises the orchid garden (there are more than orchids there) and the natural reserve. The tickets are sold separately (but they're not expensive). The natural reserve is a nice hill, which can be walked in 3 hours round trip (due to time I did not do it). If there is a group, you could have a guide through the orchid section. I highly recommend. Don Manuel knows a lot and is very passionate about all plants. Definitely a huge bonus when visiting this venue. All in all, one of the best outdoor activities to do in San Cristobal.

Loved it! It is a place with medium level hike. You can go up on one side and go down from the other. It is like a circle if you go to the top. I didn't know that and left an empty bottle (i couldn't carry it) thinking that on the way back I would certainly pick it up to throw. But, no, descended on the other side. Was very regretful and shameful, so I asked forest how I could help, and found another empty bottle trashed by smb else ))) I picked it up to throw. It is silent. Trees. Eagles. Mountains on the horizon. Different kind of orquids and other plants. Ferns. My cellphone was full of photos. The place to visit. It is a must

Very very nice place. They got sooo many orchids and a very nice designed path with ponds, glasshouses and more. The only "bad" thing is that its hard to get there and that there is no cafe or something like that inside
