Great iconic location to visit! Beautiful architecture and amazing to know the history of how it was built. Guided tours are available on every day. Also hosts a great cafeteria downstairs - House Canteen. Can sit by the opera house stairs and relax along with the view of harbour bridge. Easily accessible by Public transport and has public toilets available if needed.

It really shocked me. It is an international tourist attraction and is listed as the youngest world heritage. The large floor-to-ceiling windows inside are all designed with a slope, so there is no glass reflection when looking outside. It is great!

Its the most beautiful place i have been in recent times and its awesome to just look at it from the hotel having some kangaroo meat and a drink. It is a breathtaking architectural masterpiece. Its iconic design and grandeur make it a cultural gem in any city. Inside, the acoustics are impeccable, offering a sublime auditory experience. Attending a performance here is a transcendent journey into the world of music and theater. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking artistic excellence.

It probably makes no difference to give this place another five star review, but it's gonna happen!!! This was the best guided tour I think I've ever been on. Our guide was perfectly enthusiastic, not over the top and explained things so well. The headphone system is brilliant and worked great. The first presentation/film was so well produced and entertaining. I loved the entire thing. We got a moment in the symphony hall with the orchestra playing and it was so powerful. The whole venue is glorious. The architecture and story behind it is fascinating. Can't go wrong with this amazing opportunity.

The majestic Opera House. Doesn’t need a description. Take a ferry from one of the suburbs and get to Circular Quay. That will get you better views of the Opera House. Also try to do the Ferry to Manly beach and you get beautiful views of Opera. Most vibrant place to visit while in Sydney. Must do!!!!

Fell in love with it. Must visit. What a wonderful place on the Sydney Harbor. The Sydney Opera House is the symbol of modern Australia. A World Heritage-listed masterpiece of “human creative genius,” it exists because a few brave people dared to think differently. Love those people. Must visit. View by sea at night is mesmerizing.

Only put in 5star for architectural purposes. Unfortunately much of the venue was barricaded off but it is a unique and beautiful building. Go to Sydney museum for full history as the architect was not invited to the opening. Great building which all Australians should be proud of.

What is there not to love about the Opera House. I attended the Australian Chamber Orchestra performance and set second row to the right. The performance was moving. I marveled at the opportunity to hear instruments from hundreds of years ago. A magical moment. You can feel the history and the artistry as you walk in. The views from the balcony are spectacular.

As a visitor to Sydney, it was thrilling to see the iconic Opera House, and to enter the building to enjoy a show was very exciting. The vibe around and in the historical building adds to the excitement. Restaurants and bars were busy, not easy to find a place to sit for a drink, but simply walking around and soaking in the atmosphere while taking obligatory pictures of the building as night settled in, along with views of the tower bridge and ferries in the bay, is a fun way to start the evening. Lots of stairs, but also wheelchair friendly. Inside the Opera House, staff are efficient and helpful, and we were ushered to the correct door based on our seats. No videography/photography allowed inside. If you come all the way to Sydney from elsewhere in the world, make sure to plan for a show at the amazing Opera House.

One of the landmarks in Sydney. Must visit places when you come to Sydney. You will be amazed by the building architecture there. But the parking rate there is very high. About 20 dollars per hour. So it is advised that you take public transport to the place. There are few bars and restaurants nearby. So you can get a quick drink when you are around there. Overall it is a very beautiful and marvelous place.

I had a great time spending 1 hour learning about this place by tour guide. I didn't expect too much before I came to Sydney, but this place is a definite icon of Sydney. I can't wait to go back this Sunday to see Miss Saigon here.

The place is spectacular. The building itself is a picture of amazing architecture from the outside. It sit on the shore of the Sidney Harbour with the famous Harbour bridge in its shadow. The jewel of this experience was being able to actually listen to a performance inside. This is once in a lifetime opportunity that is worth every effort of a long flight and overcoming jet lag.

If you want to go on a tour inside the Opera House, buy tickets online to select the day and time available, and then arrive to the Welcome Center, which is located underground on the left side 15 min ahead of your time. Also, if you can, come on Saturday and hang around until about 9 PM to see a fireworks 🎆

An iconic bucket list venue, my first visit. Beautiful harbour views though super crowded around the venue, plan ahead! We saw Gatsby at the Green Light, interesting dance moves though lacked a story line and turned a little burlesque/odd in the last few scenes 🤔

This was my first trip to Sydney, and the Opera House is majestic. It's so much better in real life than any picture you will ever see. We did a guided tour and went back the next day to watch a show. We loved both of these and highly recommend that everyone should definitely take the time to go for the tour and check out a show.

Port Jackson is the beautiful place, we know as Sydney Harbour and one of the most spectacular harbours in the world not only on the water but the many walks around the coastline.With its busy water traffic and iconic structures such as the bridge and the Opera House it must be seen from the water

What can I say. Sydney Harbour (Port Jackson) for me personally has and always will be the most picturesque and beautiful harbour in the world. Although I don't live in this city any longer. I am always in awe of this extremely appealing and iconic harbour. It can look so different depending upon the time of day. Or when it is seen at sunrise, sunset, rain or cloud. It never fails to show different characteristics when seen under natural and artificial lighting as well as a variety of different weather conditions. The Iconic Opera House and Sydney Harbour bridge as always are a must see if you are only visiting briefly.

Fringed by Sydney Harbour National Park, this is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Catch a ferry to Taronga Zoo Wharf, & walk the trail to Bradleys Head. Watch the ferries commuting across the harbour, enjoy a picnic, & take in the breathtaking scenery. There are great harbour views from the entire walking trail to Middle Head. One of the prettiest, most scenic walks I've been on & highly recommended whilst in Sydney. Also a popular area for fishing & boating.

Wharf 3 is mainly for the services of Manly. Good frequency of services. Wharf also provides reasonable views of the surrounding Circular Quay area.

The ferry to Manly was one of the nicest boat rides I have done. Magnificent views and room to walk around on the front and back of boat. Even though the ferry itself was full of passengers, most were sitting inside, leaving the beautiful view for just me and one or two other to enjoy from the back of the boat. The trip took about half an hour, but I wouldn’t have minded if it took twice as long.

Thursday 16th November 2023 at 6:35pm. An extremely rude staff member (male, tall with a mohawk haircut) refused to let passengers into the area with seating (until he "finished what he was doing", by which time another ferry had arrived). This staff attitude is rife amongst the staff - no customer centric approach. Little wonder the Manly Fast Ferry continues to pick up passengers who prefer the service.

We were very happy with the speed, efficiency, and affordability of this public transport to the Taronga Zoo. We had no issues with the departure time either going or coming. The boats were clean and it was a lovely ride.

Highly, highly recommend this walk as it was the highlight of our trip to Sydney. On a beautiful day (72F), we took our time wondering the long trail and stopping at the various beaches of different sizes along the way. I'm not sure how long it would be if you just walked it straight, but we started at Coogee and ended at Bondi probably 2 and change hours later because we stopped to take pictures so many times.

Spectacular views at every corner along the 2 hours walk from Coogee to Bondi. I went two times during my recent stay in Sydney, once in the morning and once during sunset hours, both truly amazing. Apart from the beautiful nature, it’s great to see how locals spend their free time here, surfing / fishing/ chilling on the beaches/ bbq / dog walking / family bonding … make me jealous : ) No doubt to say that Sydney is one of the best places to live in the world!

We started the coastal walk from Bondi at 7.30am. Fantastic views on this coastal walk. We went with three other families and kids. Kids enjoyed the walk. My 4 year old can't walk on up hill path so I had to carry him on my back. We had a coffee break in between at Bronte Beach. We finished at Coogee around 11am for Lunch. Overall it was a fantastic walk and I would love to come back.

Some really stunning views while walking on this trail. It seems long on paper but time really flies when you’re walking and taking in the view. I would recommend starting the trail from coogee in the morning and reaching Bondi just in time for lunch there.

Everytime we get guests come and stay with us, I always recommend they do this walk before leaving Sydney. It's a must. Lovely views, beautiful little bays and beaches along the way. Make sure you have a pair of good walking shoes as there are lots of steps up and down.

One of the things to do whilst in Sydney. The walk takes approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours, including photography and toilet stops (located at beaches along the way). It's a very scenic trail and not too difficult for young and old, although there are some steep steps along the way. You may get slightly wet from sea spray on blustery days.

We went on a Sunday, started mid morning in Coogee and got to Bondi around noon. It was an easy enough trail and breathtaking! Parts of the trail are uneven and there are a lot of stairs. A few places were a tad narrow and passing people was a bit of a challenge. Overall it is a must do! The trails are fairly well marked and easy to follow the directions.

Amazing! Highly recommend doing this if you’re able l. Beautiful views and scenery. It was not packed when we went, which was at the beginning of August. You get to see a lot, take in a nice walk, and meet great people. We received a recommendation from a local to go to Iceberg’s restaurant at the Bondi Beach end of the walk and we were SO glad we did it!

After numerous recommendations, my friends and I decided to embark on this coastal walk. It's a well-maintained and secure trail, suitable for all ages. The path is family-friendly and offers several water spots for a quick refill. The scenic views along the way are breathtaking, and we concluded our journey with a refreshing dip in the ocean at Coogee. The area also boasts fantastic restaurants where we enjoyed a delicious meal. We're already planning to do this walk again, and it's a definite must-experience!

We took the train and bus from Sydney to Coogee and enjoyed the walk from there to Bondi - absolutely beautiful route with lots of great beaches and views! We had our baby with us in a hiking carrier which was perfect - you can’t do the walk with a stroller. If you are in Sydney we would definitely recommend taking this walk!

Scenic walk and loads of places to stop in-between. We walked with our 8 year old and she enjoyed the dips in water too. Has steep steps to cover in the walk.

Incredible walk in the summer with ups and down. Walk goes through a cemetery that is in a very special place! Highly recommend the walk but does require you to be in good shape. Being by the coast also offers a really nice breeze so it doesn’t get too hot.

Lovely way to explore the coast! We started at South Coogee and it took us about 3+ hours at a leisurely pace. We saw lotsa surfers catching the waves, day trippers and swimmers and bathers in the pools. There are soft serve and coffee trucks at the larger bays/beaches but plenty of drinking water and bathrooms all along the walk.

Done this walk a handful of time and it’s stunning every time. Lots of places to stop along the way and enjoy the view and take breaks, even take dips along the smaller beaches. I recommend starting early or in the evening to catch the sunset. It can get a bit busy on weekends along the path, but you meet some nice people and furry friends. I appreciate how many toilets are available and changing spots if you’re changing into bathers. Also, water refill stations that are handy. I did the walk in Birkenstocks and made it fine. If you’re jogging or going non-stop I would recommend some good shoes as there are some bits with gravel and hills.

THIS IS A MUST!! I only had 1.5 days of freedom during a work trip to Sydney from the states and so many locals recommended this walk and I can see why. Please prioritize this on your trip to Sydney. You don't need to be super active but it's about 3.5-4 miles and does have stairs. Great way to get steps in before a long flight and see some of the most breathtaking views.

Breathtaking views. I normally walk in the daytime and the views are amazing as always. Today, I went out in the evening and I could see the stars clearly and even the beautiful sunset rays. It was a great experience to walk in the evening but had to use the flashlight sometimes just to avoid any trips or falls as some of the areas do not provide light. I prefer doing the walk in the daytime but evening experience was kind of a good thing as well. Enjoy the spectacular views on the way, everyone!

We took a bus to Bondi Beach Iceberg Club and began our walk to Coogee at 8am. It was a sunny day and sun was already hot. Wear lots of sunscreen and a hat. The view was spectacular just as others have said. This is a moderate hike so if the walker is in a decent fitness level, it should be fine. There are many steps up and down throughout the trail. Bring water bottles and there will be water stations to refill as well as lots of benches to sit, rest and enjoy the view. Highly recommend it. Check out my review of Coogee Bay! Wow wow wow

A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. Most beaches offer picnic shelters, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms, Tamarama, Bronte, Coogee and Maroubra have free electric barbecues. The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk is a medium grade urban walk but there are some steep gradient paths and several staircases along the track. There are rest stops with great views and seating along the coast. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra. Although an urban walk the Bondi to Coogee walk is open to the elements, please make sure you wear comfy shoes, bring a hat, sunglasses, sun screen, water and in colder weather wear appropriate clothing.

The Bondi Coastal Walk was truly awesome! Walking from Bondi to Coogee was one of the best activities I did in Sydney. It's amazing how people in Sydney can hit the beach in just 30 minutes from CBD! Starting early in the morning was smart. With the sun behind us, walking was easier, and we didn't have to squint. The views were stunning, and it was super fun. I'll definitely come back! After the walk we actually took the uber back to Bondi since we have cafes that we wanna visit.

A great walk with great sites to see. Use google maps because the path the take changes and is not always well marked. The part of the path near Coogee is less crowded. The part of the path near Bondi is more crowded. There are a few shops with free toilets along the path. There are free stations to fill up your water bottles along the way.

Highly recommend. Easy walk for all ages and covers a broad variety of the coastal landscape. Goes through some of the popular eastern suburbs beaches.

Nice walk. Won't take too long - 2 hours with decent pace. Plenty of interesting view points along the way and toilets at multiple stops. Ended at Coogee beach, which has many nice bars and restaurants. You can then easily take the bus back to the train station.

Fabulous walk, not too difficult for a healthy adult.. the views are spectacular and there are plenty of rest spots along the way. We caught bus from city to Coogee (20mins) & walked to Bondi well worth it.. Bondi has much charm and great coffee shops !

A world 🌎 Heritage landmark bridge. The most attraction of Sydney is the Harbour bridge. It was an amazing experience seeing a bridge on a ferry or cruise. It looks more beautiful after sunset. Luna park is just northern side. I recommend it and will definitely be doing it again. Fantastic time & awesome 🌅 views.

It's a great walk to do in the late afternoon. If you come to the city as a tourist, be sure to take your photo on Sydney's most famous bridge. If you have a chance to visit on NYE that’d be the best. You also can get a train to north side which will cross the bridge so you can see a good view as well.

Apart from the typical views around the harbour and Circular Quay. My favourite viewpoint of this bridge is on it itself along the Sydney Harbour Bridge walk. Our most preferred route is to take the train to Milsons Point Station and exit to the east before walking up the staircase to the road level and walk back to Circular Quay via the Rocks.

Landmark bridge. Great backdrop and photo motive. Main connection between Sydney and North Sydney. It would be a five star rating if the bicycle lane would not end in stairs on the Northern side. Fingers crossed it will happen eventually.

Excellent views of the city and of the Sydney Opera house! The bridge was built in 1932 so it definitely feels old but yet is still well looked after and holds the test of time. Would recommend for a quick walk over it. But the bridge climb looks a bit expensive.

Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the most nice view you can see in your life the area there is so perfect and so nice you will spend a lot of time with your friends and family just enjoying the view and seeing the boats around you. You can also use the boats to round in the water and feel how much the area there so perfect for you and for your people who you like to spend time with them.

The bridge is so incredibly huge and it made since 1930’s and it has a lot of history. You can cross the bridge by walk by car by train. But I did walked it go and back and it was amazing experience. Everyone should try it

More imposing and impressive than photos show. It's a big bridge and driving through it is unique. If you do the bridge walk make sure you start at the North end if you have accessibility needs, there's no way to the bridge walkway from the south if you have a pram or wheelchair that doesn't involve steps. Takes about 20 mins to walk it, easy stroll

It is one of the engineering marvel that you are bound to have your jaws dropped. What a beautifully crafted structure. You loose track of time as you sit watching there and there is no regret to that!

Sydney Harbour Bridge is iconic to Australia & Sydney. The bridge is an amazing structure & you can walk around the harbour & see the bridge from different angles & perspectives. People can arrange & pay to climb the bridge …..very safe to do with an instructor & you are harnessed to a cable, so you CAN’T fall! (I’ve included a photo showing a group of people on the top of the bridge). You can drive across the bridge OR walk across OR catch a train too. The bridge is spectacular looking during the day & at night. The bridge is within walking or Ferry distance from: - Sydney Opera House - Circular Quay - Public transport eg ferries, trains, buses, light rail - Restaurants, cafes & bars - Shops, including Australian Souvenir shops - ‘The Rocks’ area where the oldest pub in Sydney is & many other significant buildings, pebbled roads, building facades made from sandstone & cafes, restaurants & bars - The Sydney Harbour is magnificent with many yachts, ferries, party boats, cruise ships, Jet Boats etc. in the harbour - Luna Park is an amusement park that is also iconic to Sydney (I’ve included a photo with the Ferris wheel near the front of the entrance)

For the best view of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, I highly recommend that you take a boat from Circular Quay to Darling Harbour or Manly or Taronga Zoo, an amazing experience. The most adorable place to have lunch or dinner with family and friends. I would recommend you to bring your family here. The food very delicious and well served, clean, and chic. I really like the food. And the view is special. An interesting shopping centre in the middle of the city

Darling Harbour is an incredible place to bring your family, one of the most fun parks for kids of all ages, sculptures, eateries and entertainment. There is always something going on or something to see of do. A must see during Vivid and at any Fireworks display.

Stunning place and a must see in Sydney. With a little bit luck you’ll see the bride opens and close. The attraction there just amazing and there are a lot of restaurants around. For kids, couples and just fast food -everything is there. Even a German Restaurant with German beer. At the evening is almost everyday something happening there. Also checkout online for the next fireworks! There is also a beautiful path to The Rocks -outstanding. The path will bring you to Circular Quay and the opera house.

Beautiful Harbour with great views of the Sydney skyline. Lots of good options in and around the harbour, including dine-in restaurants, pubs, small/quick eats. Fireworks over the weekend are a treat to watch. Paid parking nearby, but public transport works out better

An impromptu visit meant we just enjoyed what was available. Could not find a place to sit down and eat so settled for take-out and eating from a park bench which was fine. But loved the walkabout in a beautiful setting. Not overly busy (other than the couple of restaurants that were open and understaffed and over capacity)....so enjoyed strolling around. Most places closed so missing some of the buzz, but a pleasant evening out.

A really romantic place to hang around or to have dinner. During daylight, the view is amazingly beautiful, but it's even more spectacular at night! They also have a park nearby, it is a great destination to simply have a picnic or to bring your kids and dogs to run around.

Darling harbour is a great place to visit, its beautiful during the day and night! I went last during 'Vivid Sydney'. It looked amazing , it had so many lights with many sound effects and a fountain show. Must visit!! It can be packed but it's well worth it. Kids will have the best time!!

Darling harbour is just an amazing spot to visit. There are alot of great restaurants, bars and attractions. Transportation is nearby and efficient. Definitely worth spending the walking around it.

Our stay was fantastic! The room- Jewel suite was absolutely stunning. The facilities were great, with hot water and plenty of amenities. The housekeeping was excellent, keeping everything clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Kevin went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. TK at the spa gave me one of the most amazing treatments. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a variety of options to choose from. The only issue we ran into was the incessant dog barking- which was quickly remedied by moving to a higher floor. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this property. It is definitely in my top five favorite hotels I have ever stayed in!

I visited this place because I heard the night view was great, but it wasn't so impressive because there were many other great places in Sydney. You can see a lot of young people in restaurants and bars around the coast. It is nice to leisurely walk along the beach, and there are lots of chairs so it is nice to sit if walking was difficult.

Darling Harbour really lives up to its name for it is indeed a darling place to visit. Highly recommend for anyone of all ages, especially if you have kids as it's super family friendly. Will visit again for sure.

Awesome place to visit for a walk or evening out. Very busy area as you can take boat tours or ferries. Lots of restaurants and the ones we attended had really good food. Several attractions ( Maritime museum, aquarium etc) and shops to visit. I just enjoyed walking around and grabbing a coffee in the morning. Easy to walk to from the city area with safe pedestrian accesses.

The views were stunning. Public transport was so easy. Tap on and off with digital wallet. Ferry across the bay was quick and smooth! Nightlife was great!

Lovely place to go for a walk. Restaurant and cafes around. Such a variety of boats in the harbour. Can catch boat taxis to opera house and other locations sea life, wild life , marina museum. Worth a walk around plenty to see by the sea .

Close to CBD. Easier to access by public transportation here. It was hard and expensive to park around here. More tourists before COVID. There are a lot of restaurants and Cafe around. Some attractions there. I prefer walking in the evenings because not much shelter. Beautiful view. Have free 7-minute fireworks at 9 pm weekend.

If you are at harbour side you can see all of these sightseeing areas. I was travelling alone n it’s hard to find someone trustworthy n someone ready to click ur pix happily. Keep walking at circular quay you will see Luna Park on the way and on opposite side of the harbour you will see opera house.

There have been some great improvements since my last visit to Sydney. The Chinese friendship garden is beautiful as always. What I really liked is the additional family space. With the water park, and pools along with food outlets and integrated green space. The water is always beautiful. Great relaxing place to be. It is worth a visit. So much to do.

We stayed at the Sofitel in Darling Harbour and really enjoyed it. They have Friday night fireworks, theaters, restaurants, bars and outdoor activities. There are many ferries to help you get around.

A lot of cute restaurants and bars scattered along the walkway if you need to eat, but they're touristy choices and prices (and can get packed). Also has the aquarium and madame toussauds. So a great spot to have options to spend time at, free or pricey, and take in some great views. Great spot for a morning run or to be amidst late night buzz.

With our limited time in Sydney, we took a short afternoon dinner cruise out of Darling Harbor. It was a beautiful way to enjoy the water and the scenery. We were able to wander the area a bit after disembarking, and I would recommend that visitors take some time to explore. We had to leave before sunset, but we heard that this place is especially lovely after dark when things light up.

An astounding triumph of urban waterside architecture. Hotels, in abundance, attractions, in abundance, and restaurants - you got it, in abundance. Very walkable, very joggable. If you hotel is here you will not be disappointed... But it isn't Circular Quay which has more character.... And the Opera House.

The Moreton Bay Fig or Australian banyan (ficus macrophylla) standing here is one of the biggest, tallest trees in Sydney's Royal Botanic Gardens. A magnificent tree to see, a giant you have to respect.

Beautiful beach with a large stretch along the shoreline including designated swimming and surfing areas. The beach is about 10 minutes walking distance from Manly Wharf. Ample amenities for the public including seating areas, showers, picnic seats, restaurant and cafes. The beach is clean with lifeguards on the lookout. Great location for a weekend getaway near Sydney.

Easy to come here from Sydney via ferry ride. Nice place to chill, enjoy sunrise/sunset or surf. Bit rough to swim especially for kids. Lots of food shops & retailers nearby. Loved my time there.

A really beautiful beach to pay a visit to. I came on the Ferry from Circular Quay which just adds to the day in my opinion. You can’t beat a ferry ride on the Sydney Harbour. The walk from the wharf to the beach is great too and there’s several places you can have an ice cream or gelato and you can’t beat the selection of places to have a nice lunch. You can also get takeout and eat at one of many tables along the beach. There’s good toilet facilities also. Just sit and people watch. Definitely a spot to visit in Sydney.

Lovely beach with amazing view. There are a lot of restaurants and pubs. If you go around the beach from the right there is another small beach from where you can see the sunset and also the colour changing of sky .Overall a fun place to hang out and take off the work pressure.

I recently visited Manly Beach and was blown away by the stunning sunrise views. The beach itself is beautiful and the easy parking in the morning made it convenient to get there early to catch the sunrise. The beach was also not too crowded, making it a great spot for a peaceful morning walk or swim. I highly recommend visiting Manly Beach for the breathtaking sunrise and easy parking.

Just loved this beach and the surrounding area. Such easy access by ferry and trains. Lovely restaurant all around specially the Indian one for its chat and samosas. Must visit. Sunset is my favorite time there.

The place is amazingly beautiful. The wave and the vibrant color of the sea can be seen and admired from distance. Don’t bring food and walk as the seagull are ever ready to attack on you. You can walk further to another place; it’s beautiful walk.

Taking a ferry to Manly is a delightful way to travel, and there's a special vibe to Manly's beaches in early autumn. Next to the swimming pool at the northern end of the beach, you can climb up a small cliff. At the very top, there's a small cave ，which is a minor attraction. It's not particularly magical, but worth checking out.

Manly Beach is a popular destination known for its beautiful beaches, great surf, and lively atmosphere. However, on my recent visit, I noticed that the town itself was a bit dirty and littered in some areas. Despite this, the beach itself was clean and the water was clear and inviting. The promenade is a great spot for a walk or a run, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. The surf was great and the people were friendly and welcoming. Overall, I still enjoyed my time at Manly Beach but it would be better if the town is kept cleaner for the visitors.

Great location that is convenient to access by ferry from Circular Quay, suggested for tourists as the easy travel. Got a track on the right, and you can walk to another small beach and a few restaurants. We spend a day there to relax or it will be nice to just spend the afternoon there for relaxation.

Manly is just as good, but Bondi gets all the praise and recognition. I rode the quick ferry to the harbour. Manly has a fairly laid-back atmosphere. When I went in May, the weather was chilly and windy, but it didn't stop hundreds of people from going to the beach. There are numerous restaurants and pubs in the area, all of which are hip and modern.

World famous Manley beach. I finally was able to visit. It was pretty busy as it's Spring Break. A lot of people hanging out and enjoying the day. The water was too cold for me, but people were enjoying it.

Went to Manly with my friends by ferry. The beach was beautiful, but quite crowded since there was an event when I visited there. Had a nice walk there while enjoying sunset.

Beautiful large beach!! It was a short 20 minute ferry ride from downtown Sydney! We spent the afternoon walking around Manly, relaxing on the beach and shopping down the Main Street! This was one of our favorite day trips when in Sydney!

For me the most beautiful beach in the Sydney area. The broad promenade with the iconic pines und the beach with a surf school and many beach volleyball fields are perfect for sports or relaxing. The wooden pavilions are signs of Manly beach history as the place to be for the 1900s high society. Manly beach is my absolute favorite also in comparison to Bondi beach.

Beautiful beach with lots of shade provided be pines trees. It was easy to find places to sit. The beach is long and wide. Excellent place.

Incredible spot overlooking the harbour. Booked in advance, scanned QR code on entry. Very easy and waiting time was not too long. Easily navigable zoo, with plenty of interesting enclosures. Lots of kids (as you would expect) but plenty of ways to avoid the crowds when you can. Not too hilly or difficult to get around. Food options very limited, but easy to go through the park in 2-3 hours, and hop on the ferry back to Circular Quay for other food options.

The over all experience was great. Beautiful ferry ride across the bay, amazing bird show and plenty to see. Put your walking shoes on because it's on a cliff. Lots of steep paths and steps. Great for exercise. Some of the larger animals have quite small enclosures Was the only downside.

Last visited 28 December 2022 so thought I'd share a review on here. Fabulous zoo!! Far better than any zoo's in NZ. Cost is only NZ$50 (or about AU$44) and that included the gondola. Return ferry to Circular Quay - public transport is dirt cheap (Opal) compared with NZ. Bird and Seal Show is wonderful. Though the seal show line is super long, we still managed to get a seat for the first time at the front. It'll be great if this zoo could order heaps of size L t-shirts for men and a variety especially for the summer holidays. Good thing we visited before they closed the gondola for renovations. Weather was beautiful. A day trip well worth it. We'll be back in Syd end of this year (late December) for a solid 2 weeks. With plans to visit the Gold Coast for the 1st time, end of next year (end of 2024)... AL from New Zealand.

A great space designed for kids and adults both to see animals. The slopes are quite steep so recommend to reach the top and walk down the slope. It's little tricky for older people who have limited walking ease. The bird and seal shows are really great and love the way they are delivered. It does have 2 ways to see the zoo and one should decide which path to follow.

What a fantastic place to visit! We visited Taronga Zoo for the first time on a holiday to Sydney for our toddler's birthday, and we all had an amazing day. We took the direct ferry from Circular Keys and got there early and, despite being school holidays, it didn't feel too busy within the zoo. The views of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House are spectacular. The enclosures all appeared well maintained and there are lots of encounters and interactions available to purchase. We bought tickets for the giraffe feeding which was fun! There was quite a bit of construction going on to improve the park but it didn't affect us. We spent over 4 hours there but could have easily spent longer if our daughter wasn't tired out. We'll definitely go back again!

Definitely 5 stars!!! Amazing zoo with huge amount of animals, who looks very happy and healthy, clean fur and playful animals. We saw koalas, giraffes, elephants, lions, tigers , penguins and many more spices. Large area , and on a hill. A lot of walking. Takes a full day to explore and enjoy in full. We got there by ferry as well as returned back to a circle quay in 10 min each way. That was very convenient, as well as we were able to see Harbor , Bridge and architectural side of Sydney from a water side. Highly recommend to visit, especially if you are visiting with kids!!!

A lovely zoo with amazing Sydney city & harbour views. Can be accessed by bus, car & ferry & we went ferry both ways (short trip from Circular Quay). Buses available from ferry up hill to main entry. There is also an entry at bottom near ferry. Lots of animals including Australian- opportunity for koala photos & walking amongst kangaroos & emus. Sadly chairlift not working, with other issues with up escalators & also 1 lift. Meant additional walking. Food is very average in food court - $40 for a couple of chicken meals & an ice-cream. Could buy drinks incl alcohol. Various ticket options - cheaper to buy online. Cashless zoo now. Always worth a visit.

I loved this zoo. It is so well set out. The animals appear to be happy and content and in good condition. It's set on a hill but has lifts and escalators to help those of us who are aging or not so fit ! Good toilets and food outlets and a lovely well stocked reasonably priced shop. Easy to get to by the local ferries.

First time to come here. Come with my kids, this is a great place to see so many animals. Kids must be so happy to be here. The zoo is so big. We can walk around the whole area to see so many kind of animals. I suggest to buy tickets in advance through their official website to get discount.

An amazing day spent with my 3 teenage girls around the park. During Covid times, we are encouraged to book tickets online. We used Dine & discover voucher to enter. The parking was a flat rate. Using a car is cheaper when you are a group of more than 4. The park is for all ages.. The seal show was amazing and very informative.. It took us around 4 hours to go all around. It is good to go as early as 10 and take 6 hours not to rush.. I think it is a great zoo with a great team of workers spread all over the place to make the visit memorable. It is important to wear comfortable shoes due to the amount of walking to be done.

One of the best zoo’s I’ve visited over the years! The timing of our trip was perfect! When a koala bear sleeps 20 hours a day, how lucky can you get when you can see the Koala climbing the tree. I’m additional, all of the animals were lively and actively moving around in their environment. The animal exhibits were very close, making it easier to see the animals. If you make the trip, take the bus to the zoo and return back to the city via ferry for the scenic views of the bridge and opera house.

Visited in the rain, so some of the animals used to warmer environments seemed quite unhappy. The seal show was very impressive, and the animals seem to have very good care taken of them in this zoo. The experience was well priced, including travelling to the zoo from the city via ferry.

A great day at the zoo: huge diversity of animals, clean and ethical enclosures, informative shows and keeper talks, and gorgeous views of the harbour and city. However, a word of warning, while it is technically accessible, the hills/stairs can get pretty steep. Discount when buying tickets online, and you can just head to the gate with the QR code.

Be aware the zoo might be a bit larger than you think and the experience might get a little bit overwhelming. ...and there's A LOT of children. 😁 Apart from that, I got a very natural feeling here, tasteful enclosures, some animals even weren't asleep during my visit. Nothing to think about, go there, enjoy, a must visit while in Sydney. Such a shame the Sky safari is no longer available thought.

Amazing Zoo and fantastic staff! We did the Koala and Dingo Encounters, and I can't recommend enough! Throughout the park, you get up close to so many animals, several walking in your path or even hanging out right above you. And the views of the Harbor aren't too bad either.

It was my first visit in the last 10 years. Absolutely a great zoo with amazing skyline of Sydney. The animals looked healthy and a great place for anyone either kids or adults. Loved the concept of rainforest walk with birds, so that birds are not in small cages. It was nice to see giraffe, elephant, lion and much more. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There are maps at many different spots for those who get lost like me. Good food at cafe. The shelter areas were best since we also took some food from to have it at the park. I would definitely recommend this zoo and visit again sometime in the future.

A great day out for young and old, singles or groups. So many animals to see and enclosures offer great viewing opportunities. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The views of Sydney are spectacular too. So lucky to have this on offer so close to the heart of Sydney. Highly recommend a day out here!

We went for the view of Sydney and that didn’t disappoint. Ferry trip was lovely, quick and cheap. There was a huge queue for the gondola ride so we got the bus. Which was full and not Covid friendly! I had been to the zoo in the late 80s when a relative of mine worked there. Not much has changed. Except it’s. wry expensive to get it. $51 to be exact. And the prices for coffee and snacks were steep. It did look a bit tired and in need of some dollars spent on upgrades. I live in Adelaide and apart from the view our zoo is faring better. However it was a pleasant day and we got our steps up and the view is beautiful.

Well-designed and lovely zoo. The Wildlife Retreat is where we stayed, so getting to the zoo was simple. Amazing displays. Big zoo, but not overpowering like some can be. Cashless. Numerous displays of Australian animals may be located all across the zoo. They have amazing viewing spots that let you get close-up and personal. From Circular Quay, using the ferry and bus is simple.

Wonderful experience at the Wildlife Retreat. Staff were great and overall running was smooth and they provided extra touches that made it feel so special for my boyfriend and I who were there to celebrate his birthday. The guided tours were informative and getting to see the animals close up was pretty cool (for a non-animal lover myself). Buffet breakfast was my personal highlight - quality of food and serve was great with views to match. Plus having access to the zoo on the from the day you check in to the day you check out is a great bonus. Highly recommend if you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion.

First time at Taronga Zoo and I am impressed by it’s great variety of attractions. Plenty of kids friendly trails and activities so it will be perfect for families to visit. There are also a few areas under construction at the moment since they are relocating some of the exhibits. It took us around 4-5 hours to walk through the entire zoo which is a decent size considering it being so close to city. Make sure to allocate time to catch some of the animal talks/shows or their feeding time. It wasn’t too busy even for a weekend. Parking was easy to find ($22 flat rate) and close to no line up for entry.

More than a simple zoo. Elegant, well designed with color identification of the trails to follow. Varied fauna and flora integrated into very beautiful settings. It even has an area with marine animals typical of the area. Many activities for the little ones and numerous support services. Easy to access from central Sydney by bus or ferry. Highly recommended. One morning or one afternoon are needed, at least, for sure.

Spent the afternoon casually strolling through the Taronga Zoo. It’s an easy ferry ride away from Circular Quay making it a good way to burn up time on vacation in Sydney. Clean, well maintained, and laid out with an easy walking flow from one themed area to another. I never felt like I was being rushed or missing anything. My favorite aspects were the walk through aviaries that let you get up close to many of the birds in residence and the focus on the welfare of the animals in their charge. Unlike any zoo I’ve been too before, Taronga Zoo has preserved some of their oldest building, defunct buildings as educational exhibits of how zoos kept animals in the past and how it different it is today.

Huge and fun place for kids and kids at heart. love that there are many animals to see and a lot of resting areas too. The structure of the zoo where you have to go up and downhill made it a little bit more challenging for older people to go around but still fun though. it a very nice view of the harbour bridge and the ferry ride made it even more exciting for guests from other states and overseas too.

No wait if you buy the tickets in advance. Free parking if you try to find one just a couple of meters away on the street. Great location and wonderful experience. They stopped cable car unfortunately last year on Tuesday 31 January 2023 but they are planning to return in next year 2025- which means bit of uphill walk for now. Lots and varieties of Animals. Loved seeing Giraffes and Zebras, Lions, Chimpanzees, Tigers. NRMA members gets discounted tickets purchased online- Two benefits, no wait in the queue and you pay less. Overall you need at-least 3 hours and around 3.5-4 hours if you have babies / kids. If its very hot summer, chances are few animals might take shelter and you may or may not see them at all. so, weather is very important. Best thing is, Taronga Zoo is open 365 days of the year. Family-friendly and kids love it. Pram and wheelchair friendly. at certain places, they also have lifts.

The Taronga zoo I one of the best zoo in the world I have ever been too. You have to take a fairy ride from Sydney to get to the zoo. I highly recommend buying a ticket ahead of time the zoo you could be there all day. There’s so many things to look at. You can also buy a ticket ($12) to get up close and personal with the koala bears and that is a must. It’s like the zoo is on its own island and has a great view looking back at Sydney.

Animal experience was good Food courts were super crowds but they had few vegetarian options which is good. Ticketing experience was not so good- only family price was 105 but they were giving it for 118. And when I asked for entertainment book offer then she used the individual ticket price rather than the family price.

Awesome views from the Zoo of Sydney Harbour & Bridge. Taronga Zoo has awesome up close enclosures to view all the animals as well. It's really easy to get to by the Ferry. Had an awesome day. Do yourself a favour & visit. The views across the harbour to the city are worth it on their own & the animals are a bonus 😀 Just do it!! P.S. Buy your tickets online & save yourself a few bucks. A large sprawling zoo, built on a coastal hillside. Excellent variety of animals, lots of walking involved (start at the top/main entrance rather than the ferry entrance and work your way down if you tire easily). The walk through aviaries were particularly immersive. Keeper talks are available, included in the admission fee, some feeding times are advised, others can be chanced upon. Fantastic example of a non for profit zoo.

Was more than a little disappointed at a number of exhibits at the zoo today. Having not been in a few years I was please to see it was clean and had many changes. No skyway chair lift. Closed with a promise of a future replacement. Surely that could have been better planned. Koala exhibit. How many million was spent on that. And all to see ONE single solitary koala. Not that it was really visible. But 1 koala. Tiger exhibit. A few million more spent there no doubt. And again a long trek with the promise of tigers. Yep ONE tiger again. 🐅 I guess it beats all those enclosures where no animals could be seen. The bird talk was almost as great as I remember. But sadly the best thing I saw at the zoo were the views of Sydney. It's great but not what the zoo is all about. Add to that toilets that were the second worst I have encountered (second only to a highway rest area near shanghai). And this applies to the toilets near the entrance and the elevators. Come On Taronga!! There's great potential but it just missed the mark.

Best place spend with kids, be early in the morning to watch maximum shows in the zoo. Seal show, bird show must watch. Carry food, the quality of food is average inside the zoo. Cap and sun glass to protect from sun. Rain forest walk will be joyful as well.

Great Sydney day out. Zoo is well kept staff are informative. Good selection of food. Buy tickets online in advance, even on the morning of the trip, you will save a minimum of 10%. Then donate the savings to the Zoo, and choose an animal of your choice. Everyone wins.

Had a great experience at Taronga Zoo with our little one. Located in a beautiful location and home to a wide range of animals. We were able to complete most but not all animal encounters. The bird show and seal show are a must see as the kids really enjoyed it. You can plan for an entire day and add the encounters and shows that you would like to visit on their app. Maps are also provided. There are a few cafes spread out within the zoo for quick bites and ice-creams. It’s a must visit with kids of all ages.

We spent about 2hrs here walking round most if not all of the animals. There are plenty of trees and seats around the park which great because it was 25 degrees and very sunny. Instead of getting the bus we made the 4 minute walk up the hill to the south entrance. There are steps and then escalators to the right. The cost to enter is about AU$50 which is not cheap but there is a lot to see. If you have kids be sure to go to the petting zoo to see the Alpacas and the goats.

We had an amazing experience at this zoo in Sydney, which we consider the best ever. The variety of animals is impressive. The koala area is a must-see, and the well-designed layout offers different sections for animal viewing, along with beautiful skyline views of the city. It's highly recommended, especially for families with kids. We spent six hours exploring everything, including fantastic bird and seal shows, and the zoo also provides stunning views of Sydney Harbour. On-site parking is plentiful, and the spacious, modern animal enclosures are in excellent condition. A must-visit for anyone in Sydney for a few days.

Worth a visit. I stay bang opposite a beach but still a visit to Bondi beach was in my list & it was worth the trip. There are a number of shops across the beach to pick up a quick bite or to get some souvenirs.

I made the mistake of thinking that a day trip was enough to visit Bondi Beach. I should have planned to stay a few days because the place is beautiful and it requires time just to sit at the beach and enjoy. Beautiful.

We came here on the annual kites day, The weather was very good, the sea water was crystal clear, and there were many large and small kites flying in the sky. I stared at a colorful catfish kite for a long time, personally it was my favourite, I hoped that the whale kite would finally fly in the day. It struggled for a long time.

This is a very famous beach and I thought, it would be clear why when we went there. No, it is not clear. Other beaches seem much nicer. This is just a lot of people, many cars, busy roads, boring stores and the day we visited the waves were so small that even the surfers could not show what they can. Find one of the others for a more real experience of a Sydney beach.

Bondi is one of the most popular beach in Sydney. This is really a good beach with great view. It has a nice long walking trail to walk, sit and rest. It is really a great place for refreshment. The place can be crowded depending upon the day of the week. Also, finding parking can be very difficult. However, I will definitely visit this place again.

One of my favourite beaches in Sydney. It does get crowded most of the times but still great. There’s a park with good views, bbqs, public toilets, cafes and restaurant right in front of the beach. 30 minutes from the cbd by bus.

Iconic stretch of sand in Sydney's East with great surf and waves. Easily accessible by public transport via the 333 bus from Bondi Junction, Circular Quay or the CBD in general. Respectful lifeguards who will inform you off any potential rips as well.

Beautiful beach, always clean, big and spacious, easy to get there via public transport. Parking is a little mental, try and avoid if possible (unless you get there really early!). Waves are pretty crazy but aslong as you stay within the flags you’ll be sweet. Always amazing sun rises and sunsets :)

Sydney’s iconic Bondi beach. It is usually overcrowded but no doubt it’s a beautiful beach. It’s a must visit for Sydneysiders and visitors but the sea can be rough so always follow lifeguards warnings. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants in the area. Big grassy area for picnics and metered parking along the esplanade available but can be difficult to secure on weekends.

A perfect beach for fishing, walking on the sands before the crowds. Perfect in winter, summer, spring or Autumn. Or just sitting on the beach

I went there on weekday and it wasn’t crowded. The endless horizon looked like the edge of the earth that corroborated the fact that Earth is round. The wave, the water, the sand, the beach and the surrounding was blending all in all to exude amazing vibe and ambiance. People were surfing and it was fun to watch em all. It’s beautiful there. Huge beach space that can contain hundreds of visitors. Will definitely visit it again.

Great place to relax and chill. You can enjoy the views from all around this place. Has all the facilities like shower, restrooms and restaurants in close proximity. Can get crowded during weekends and be bit difficult to find the parking close by.

Nice beach for surfing. Can get crowded. Not suitable for kids swimming as it can get rough. If I'm being honest it's a bit overrated. Not bad but gets more hype than it deserves given that Australia has really countless spectacular beaches that don't get a mention.

As an Australian, (I live in Melbourne however) This beach is really nice! Definitely worth seeing at-least once in your lifetime. Can get crowded so it’s definitely not an every day beach, but lovely to walk along and take in the serenity. Just be aware there are other beaches in Australia, and although this is probably one of the most popular ones, there are a lot more that I would say are more beautiful and less crowded!

Took the 333 bus to Bondi Beach. Crowded beach but space to lay. Recommend reapplying the sunscreen. Lifeguards were busy the entire time having people swimming away from the rip currents. At times, the waves crashed on you about every 8- 10 seconds. You should be a really good swimmer if you go out to where the waves crash.

Love it! A beautiful one stop beach with excellent facilities all around from shopping to food, cafes, accommodation, everything! Absolute pleasure to see and enjoy!

Lots of people are saying that Bondi Beach is overrated and mainstream, but they know nothing. It’s such a nice place and it has a great vibe all around it, from the sand, the waves, the views, the shops around to all the people that come and just chill out or working out. Ok I live here and I’m bias but for me Bondi Beach is magical. The beach is divine, different every day and the village has everything you need. It can be peaceful and serene, or buzzing and vibrant. I couldn’t ask for a better place to live.

One of the old buildings in the city that is very beautiful. Think they had plans for taking it down years back. Someone decided to make it into a shopping mall and made a beautiful work. Have a coffee and enjoy the view. Last time they had put up some UGLY commercials that were so dominating - shame on you for doing that to a place this elegant.

Beautiful building, must go and have a look inside, a lot of lovely and specialised shops in the higher levels and such beauty. I was surprised eight the basement level that Interconnect to the town hall station and so many more shops downstairs too! The building is really clean and has a really nice feeling, there are a couple of tea room inside and I’m sure it would be an amazing place to have afternoon tea !

This place is worth the visit just to see the architecture of buildings in years gone by. Lots of shops, mostly high end, with a huge array of eateries. This mall is in an older building and is beautifully set up. We went there in November and the big Christmas tree was already there. Interesting shops and nice restaurants. We stopped at one for lunch and were impressed with the food and service. Would recommend a visit if you are in sydney for more than a couple of days

An incredibly beautiful building that has been turned into a shopping centre. The shops have been sympathetically merged with the old architecture. There are toilets and places to eat. There is also a parents room, which includes a microwave for heating food. The building is wheelchair accessible and there are toilets for people with a disability on some of the floors. There is free wi-fi, which ran at a reasonable speed. There are also a few seating areas in the shopping areas, though these were not very clean.

Beautiful heritage listed old building. Full of upmarket and boutique stores. Very pleasant to walk around and well worth a look. High tea is on offer in a number of places and looks very nice. Very expensive place to shop and limited sizes available.

The beautiful exterior and interior decoration make it possible to shopping, but it also seems meaningful for a simple visit. The floor was decorated with small tiles and the windows were nicely decorated with stained glass. The large clock tower in the center was very impressive and unique.

Beautiful architecture on the outside. Even better on the inside. The shops run underground from Town Hall to the Myer Centre in the middle of the city. Full of designer shops interesting electic shops along with stunning glitzy decor and a tastfully designed ceiling. It certainly has a wow factor.

It is a huge classic building with old fashion classy atmosphere. Here there are niche shopping , also the restaurants and cafes are amazing and good. I spend a lot of time in this building taking pictures and enjoying the cafe’s.

So incredibly beautiful, elegant and sophisticated. My favourite European-like mall in Sydney with iconic Queen Victoria statue at the main entrance. Love the many, many cafes, antique stores and boutiques, including the powder rooms. I could spend days here.

What an amazing shopping experience! Countless stores or everything you can think of. It was a good bit busy when I went but it's a mall downtown in a major city, what do you expect.

One of my favourite places to wander when I have a few free minutes. Plenty of choice for coffees, a quick or a slow meal and great window shopping. The tree in the centre at Christmas always looks amazing. During the day, the stained glass windows allow beautiful light in the centre. Love the old world class of the building, wonderfully grand. A grand piano on level 1 or 2 is available for those with skill to entertain the passersby.

Beautiful multilevel building with a nice variety of stores and facilities - including some upmarket brand stores, many health and beauty stores, gift shops, and cafes. Below street level links you to Town Hall train station, The Galleries Victoria building, Westfield and other street level exits. There are nice staircases, elevators, escalators, and toilets. Often a lovely bit of art being showcased in the middle of the building. Nice for a walk-through instead of walking along the streets too.

Elegant building with usual mall stores inside. We liked the toy store inside. There are good dining options. The tram stops right in front of the mall, there are plenty of stores outside/across the mall as well.

It is a very spectacular and lovely building with a sense of history. Once inside, there are several cafes and stores. There is a piano on the second floor, and anyone can play it freely. However, some of the keys are broken and out of tune, so they may need to be repaired or tuned. The sound is not good. I think that one day a very good pianist will appear, so it might be better to repair it before Christmas. I am sure that further customers will come here to hear that pianist play. It was a very classy and wonderful place. It was a very pleasant place to shop, enjoy the cafes, and walk around!

The Queen Victoria Building is a true gem of historical architecture! It's beautifully preserved and still retains its original charm. The mall is massive and bustling. Instead of the usual chain stores on the ground floor, I recommend taking the time to explore the unique and characterful boutiques on the upper floors. We stumbled upon a handmade perfume shop – truly one-of-a-kind. It's a fantastic place to discover hidden gems away from the mainstream shops.

A iconic place in Sydney’s CBD with superb architecture. I don’t think you’ve truly been to Sydney until you’ve visited QVB. So easy to get to with Town Hall station directly joined to it below ground and also the Light Rail station directly in front on George Street. The range of beautiful shops and cafes make for a wonderful visit but I really just love admiring the architecture and overall beauty of the building. Really one of my favourite places to visit in Sydney.

Got the tickets with Wildlife zoo admission all together. Have to change the date twice due to personal health issue. very friendly staff and procedure is a breeze! Not the biggest aquarium that I've been so far but their variety of sea creatures are awesome! my little kid love it and my family have a great time. highly recommend!

Not recommended. It was way too busy for the space they have available, and filled with screaming kids and strollers. The facilities are really rough and ready. I understand you’re in the middle of the city, but for a world class city like Sydney, which is also a maritime city, we expected something more permanent and better looking. The dugong ramp area was extremely loud. We saw kids and adults covering their ears because of how loud it was with the speakers at full blast. Horrible. The area for the penguins was filthy, with poop on the floors and the glass. The men’s bathroom near cafeteria did not soap. The cafeteria was filled with birds. In terms of exhibitions, the areas with the tunnel were pretty amazing, as well as the ones with jellyfish. I would not come back.

You will get transferred to this amazing life of underwater world. And it not only has the aquarium but it also has the terrestrial animals, reptiles. You won't get bored over here. Be prepared to walk a lot. You can also enjoy the meals at the food court which serves some delicious cheesecakes. You can check if there are some other ongoing activities.

Sea Life Aquarium is a fantastic place to explore marine life! My family and I had a great time checking out all the different sea creatures. The tanks were colorful and fascinating, and we learned a lot about underwater ecosystems. It's a perfect outing for both kids and adults, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

It was my first time to visit a big aquarium like this. I had chance to visit one in Istanbul, but I couldn't make it. Now, I remember how great experience it is. The great Ocean life is just near you with a lot of species. Sharks are just passing thru next to you. Penguins are so cute animals. Staffs are really kind and helpful. Thanks for the great service.

While the other reviews were complaining about the number of children, remember this is an attraction for families. We (no children) had an amazing time walking through the aquarium! The way it is set up, made it very easy to navigate walking through the aquarium. We got there at 10, when it opened and was very busy, but we were still able to see everything and enjoyed our time. Highly recommend.

An enjoyable experience with several attractions to see. Only downfall is there is no nearby parking without paying significant amount of money and was overcrowded so this meant waiting for others to move before we could see anything. There was also several fish that were dead in the tanks which wasn't pleasant to see. Shame they also close quite early where as they used to be open late - would be good to experience it later at night and also allow the opportunity for quieter periods for people to look through.

Surprisingly big considering the area it is in. Missus and I had lots of fun and took lots of memorable photos. Sea Life is a bit pricey. Overall spent $132, $102 for 2x adults and $30 photo they took.

Initially, I thought I would not spend much time here because it was not giant as I saw it from outside. But I was wrong. Here are lots of beautiful glass tunnels underground! I thought if you were a sea life lover like my family, you could spend at least four hours enjoying it.

Amazing how many aquariums they can fit into the space they have. I came here after going to the Sea Life in Sunshine Coast - enjoyed that one so much I got an annual pass. The penguin boat ride and penguin habitat were fantastic. Thought the water of the larger tanks with the sting rays, sharks and sea turtles were mirky compared with the crystal clear tanks in Queensland. Sea Life Sydney need to lift their game and clean the tanks! I visited the aquarium many years ago when it first opened and it had less tanks but was a lot better back then. My family and I had so much fun seeing all the sea creatures at the Aquarium. The glass tunnel is sensational, you feel you’re so close to the fish, the stingray, the sharks! The penguin experience is brief yet amusing. Staffs are friendly and jolly. It’s well worth a visit while you’re in Sydney.

Very good place. Seen some never seen before fish . Worth it. Need to add a point about the staff . Very helpful and kind . One of our group members got lost 😞 and they combed the entire place by foot . Then they went through the camera and video footage. They also searched the surrounding area bus stop near by restaurant. Very thankful full and appreciate the people who came to help. These acts of kindness and compassion are the best thing that makes us love a location and makes us want to come back for more .

An amazing experience for all ages. Seeing the look on our little Mouse was worth every penny spent... The excitement and enthusiasm. You can't buy that. Do yourselves a favour and visit soon!

Great location in Darling Harbour. Staff very friendly and helpful We stayed for 2 hrs. You could easily spend the day. To see the animals that close wow. Very informative, a great family day out

Worth going there for half a day. Nicely arranged and easy to walk through and explore. In the Ticket there is a 2min boat ride at Penguin Island included- make sure to wear warm clothes for that. Great variety of Australian Sea animals.

When you arrive at a busy time, the line up you see first is actually for those who have already bought tickets and are waiting to enter SEA life. To buy tickets, you'll have to walk a bit further until you see the ticketing machines around the corner of the massive building. This is not clearly indicated and rather confusing. We bought tickets for SEA life only, but you can buy combination tickets that allow you to visit other attractions like Madam Tussaud and Wild Life that are at the same location but separated from SEA life. After lining up for about 10 minutes we were able to enter SEA life. From the way the corridors and displays are designed, it felt they did their best to fit as much and a practical as possible in a limited space. It's pretty narrow and on a busy Saturday afternoon, it was tough sometimes to navigate through people and prams at the same time. Overall, it's an amusing place to be on a rainy day with small kids. However, we don't recommend it if your aim is to learn all about Australia's sea life. There is relatively little explanation on what you're looking at in the aquaria. Also, don't expect a lot of interactive things to do. We spent about two hours walking at a fairly low pace before reaching the exit. But do expect that about 70 percent is display of actual sea life and 30 percent is just corridors or elevated walkways.
