We did the half day tour today and it was absolutely amazing!!! Five stars without a question. Great location on Cape Tribulation. Friendly staff at the cafe/ reception. Good service before the tour (they gave us wet suits and sunscreen). Competent and friendly staff on the boat (Federico was great). They take safety of passengers very seriously. Pool noodles and life jackets available on the boat. We visited Mackay Reef and it was just perfect!! Two spots for snorkelling. Drinks available on the boat. They took pictures for us. I would definitely recommend it for everyone. (Visited Oct 22)

Truly a company with integrity. Cole and his team made it possible for our group of four to have the adventure of a lifetime when we thought it would be canceled. Cole and Eve personally took us and others out to the Great Barrier Reef from Cape Tribulation in October for a wonderful experience. We saw beautiful coral, hundreds of fish, and even turtles. We loved this reef tour so much that we came back the next day and did it again! Fede and Oscar were fantastic tour guides, plenty of banter and good jokes. We did it with our 4 and 7 year old (their first time snorkelling!) and they were very helpful and accommodating, making sure they were comfortable. We saw turtles, stingray, painted crayfish, as well as all the other beautiful marine life that is the Great Barrier Reef. We would definitely recommend Ocean Safari- cold beers and gin to enjoy on the sand quay to top off an amazing trip. Thanks again guys

We had the best morning snorkelling with Eliza and Brooke! Super friendly and happy ladies that were really knowledgeable about the reef. The coral was some of the best we have seen on the GBR and we’re so happy with the sea life we managed to see - White Spotted Eagle Ray, Epaulette Shark, Turtles, Giant Clams, Clown Fish and loads of different species of reef fish! Would definitely recommend this trip, well worth the money!

Such a fun experience! The team of Scottie, Tom and Eve (Steve) were unstoppable. Despite some of the crazy weather we had they kept the day feeling so much fun and upbeat. The snorkelling was great and some of the best fish I’ve ever seen. If you’re questioning which tour to take and want to have a fun day. Take this one! THUNDERSTRUCK!

This was one amazing afternoon! From the moment you arrive till the moment you leave you are very well looked after. We managed to score a perfect day and the reefs were beautiful. So much life and we were lucky enough to swim with several turtles 🐢 ❤️ the guys on our boat were amazing 👏

What a fantastic way to spend half a day! The boat launches straight off the beach just a few hundred metres walk from the office so you're at the reef in no time, the staff are all knowledgeable, fun and friendly, our captain Muzz and guide Courtney absolutely brilliant. I saw a myriad of different fish species, beautiful coral, sting rays, giant clams. All topped off with a refreshing drink on the sand cay. Would recommend to my friends and family and go again!

Wow! Fantastic half day snorkeling tour! We loved the half hour fast bumpy boat ride, out to the great barrier reef. Just 18 of us on board. After an hour of snorkeling from the boat, we then loved being dropped off on our own desert island for an hour! Here we could snorkel from the beautiful sandy island, or just sit and relax at the waters edge, with the warm crystal clear water splashing over our feet. Fantastic trip!

We were a little reluctant to go all the way up into the Daintree in order to see the Great Barrier Reef when you could see it from other towns... But it was more than worth it! We had the most incredible time and 5 stars isn't enough!! It's easily one of the best highlights of our 3 months in Australia and we would absolutely love to do it again! The guides we had (Cole and Dave) were fun and knowledgeable, sharing a tonne of information with us. The professional photos they took on our tour for us were really fairly priced too. The places they took us to on the boat were breathtaking.

A great half day adventure snorkelling on what felt like our 'own private bit of the reef' The folks here are very energetic, easy going, safety conscious, they have a fantastic setup and look after you well! Definitely worth a trip out with them, we even got to see a big friendly turtle!!! :)

I'm not the most confident of swimmers so I was a little apprehensive heading out on the reef, unlike my super confident Aussie husband! I had nothing to worry about and had an absolute blast! I rocked my noodle for that extra little bit of support, and others had their life jackets whilst the water babies amongst us ventured out by themselves. There was a great focus on safety first which is great. Cole and Eve taught us all about the reef and her residents, both on the boat and whilst in the water. We got lots of time snorkelling and exploring the sand island of McCay reef. Eve and Cole are clearly very passionate about both the reef and the work that they do. Highly, highly recommended!

Turtle Rock Cafe is a gem of a place. The food was delicious, fresh, and quick to arrive. My husband and son were only able to play 1 game of table tennis before the food arrived. Between us we had burgers, fish tacos and earth salad with grilled fish. Sitting outside surrounded by the lush rainforest, sipping cold beverages, created the perfect holiday vibe.

Fantastic snorkeling, Amazing crew. Only one boat going out with max 25 people which makes it a even better. We saw 3 different types of turtles and a Sting Ray. Colorful corrales and super crear water. If you do one snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, do this one. We also stayed two nights with our campervan at their safari lodge. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our snorkelling trip with ocean safari in cape tribulation! We were taken to the most beautiful spots and had such an enjoyable time. The short 30min trip out to the reef was super fun and way more enjoyable than on the big boats that leave from cairns and take 1/1&2 to 2hrs to get to the reef. The reef was really beautiful and we saw lots of colour fish and other creatures. But what made the experience the best was our two guides who were not only super helpful and professional but they were so friendly and funny we laughed all day! Highly recommend the snorkelling trip with ocean safari

Highly recommended snorkeling tour. One of the most beautiful reefs for snorkeling I visited in the GBR! Eve was very knowledgeable and learned us a lot about the reef and the boat ride was a thrilling 25min ride. Don’t forget to bring your GoPro!

This was a really enjoyable experience to do in FNQ. The guides were really knowledgeable and really vibed off one another with their stories and energy. They had a lot of information about the fauna and some history of the area which was enjoyable to add to the fun on the flying fox. My only critique was the gentleman at the front desk was brusque towards my dad unexpectedly at the end of the day when asking to look through photos. It was unnecessary and strange however not really a reflection on the other staff members of overall experience.

Fantastic day in the rainforest zip lining from tree to tree. The staff were very professional and friendly, with safety their no. 1 priority. It's a long drive, but we'll worth it as it's just so beautiful. In fact the drive was nearly as good as the jungle surfing. Only downside is that it was only 6 zip lines trips, more would justify the cost as it's not a cheap family outing.

An andrenalin rush with stunning views! 🧚 The guides were fantastic, although it's all over very quickly and a LONG way from Cairns!🤷 We've done a lot of zip lining and ropes courses, the views on this one we're second to none, but the zips are short and going in tandem isn't the best experience.

In terms of adrenaline rush it was too tame. Speed was quite slow. Staff were friendly and entertaining. Would have brought all the photos except some of the photos turned out blurry.

Nice crew and fun exploring the rainforest canopy. Not a massive thrill ride but fun nonetheless. The team running our experience were knowledgeable and friendly. Safety was exemplary and clearly key to the operation. Well done. 👍

Seriously Awesome! Zip lining is so much fun and with a tour from these guys, it's even more awesome. They teach you about the different parts of the Daintree rainforest and then you get to zip along through it. The guides are really knowledgeable and ours were hilarious!

Fun and exciting experience. Go for the upside down rides! Fantastic guides who really knew the rainforest and helped everyone feel safe - even the youngest. We were part of a group of 13 and there was a bit of a wait before each zip line.

Probably the most idyllic beach I have ever seen. I spent two nights here, each morning the sea was almost perfectly flat. It was an absolute joy to experience it. This camp site would suit those just wanting to experience the best that nature has to offer. I highly recommend visiting here.

Well maintained campground and toilet. Site 7 had a nice flat tent pad but also the main beach access path running through it, so probs not the best pick if don't wanna meet all the neighbours. The sites are heaps closer together than you'd think from the map. The whole campsite is only a few hundred metres long.

Second time I've stayed here. And again on no.12. Big site, but due to a lot of (small) trees only suitable for one car, maybe with a small trailer. Right next to the beach entrance. Beach is great, and clean. And if your lucky you can catch a little bit of reception. Nice walk to Noah Creek, fishing wasn't that great the days I was there, might have been the weather which was pretty rough.

We stayed for 1 night at camp site number 12, good access to the beach and plenty of room at the site, amenities where very clean, be back again for sure

Great spot for a great price. We booked a few days in advance in mid November with no problems. Site 12 was great! You have the beach all to yourselves for the most part. Beware of the midges / sandflies. We used DEET repellent but should have had better coverage… We got eaten up in the spots we didn’t apply directly!

Unreal camping spot. Limited amenities — just drop toilets — but they are well stocked with toilet paper, hand soap, and they’re clean!! Campsites are spacious with easy beach access. Beach to yourself! Stayed for 4 days and we saw rangers come through every morning.

We we there just after days of solid rain plus we had heavy rain overnight. Campground is a bit dark and gloomy when its overcast or raining. On our last day with the sun out, the sites had really nice, dappled sunlight. The beach and views from beach were great. Phone service was limited ... better but still patchy on the beach. Toilets and pools of water after rain were a bit smelly. Canpsites are different sizes ... so check descriptions when booking. All were on gravel with no water issues. I think the campground would rate 4 stars when dry and sunny.

Can’t go wrong for the price, $7pppn. Really quiet and peaceful grounds, pitch 7 was ideal close to the toilets and with a direct path to the beach. Bathrooms okay but could be cleaner, no showers here or drinking water.

Fantastic camp area . Must book before arriving. Details of camp site sizes online on the National parks website. Lots of wildlife and beautiful beach . Facilities are drop toilets only , byo water, and no fires. Bit of road noise but quiet at night. See cassowary every day we are here

Beautiful, pristine, idyllic beach. Campsites are beautiful with great beach access. So much nicer than Chilli Beach further North and has quite a bit of rubbish blown ashore.

Such a great find. This is a wonderful experience. Small group with Neil who was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the ancient rainforest. 4.5 hours of amazing forest.

An amazing and informative walk through the forest that everyone should go on! Neil is incredibly knowledgeable about the rainforest; all it’s plants, fungi and animals as well as the human impact upon it. The walk was easy enough that most could do it and due to frequent stops for explanations about various things, it didn’t feel tiring. We were lucky enough to see a python and a cassowary with 2 juveniles as well as all the amazing plants too, which was a real treat. Everyone visiting the area should go along to learn more about this incredible forest and how important it is to preserve and protect.

A true gem of the Daintree. Anyone with an interest in gaining a deeper knowledge of this special place should include this tour. Options of either 2 or 4 hours. We did the 2 hour and will definitely return to do the 4 hour one. Angie was incredibly informative and her passion, love and understanding of this area really shine through. You're in with a chance of spotting one of the six cassowaries who roam the area, but even if you don't spot one, the sheer brilliance of the other animals and plants will bowl you over anyway. Couldn't recommend this enough

A must do! An incredible wealth of knowledge! We feel blessed to have been able to partake in this educational wilderness adventure! Our family loved every minute! The insights profoundly moving! Makes you appropriate the wonders of this ancient eco system for its unique and awesome world that it is!

An Amazing experience! A must-do for anyone who wants to learn more about the Daintree. Neil has a great way with words and is extremely knowledgeable. We came back from the 4-hour walk, having learnt about all the connections between all the living things in the rainforest. I had plenty of wow moments as Neil told us about this world heritage site—a very comfortable and easy bush walk.

Took the 2 hour walk. They know a lot about the plants and the Forrest but we were expecting a bit more for 80 dollars per person. We did a night Walk the day before and saw a lot more wildlife and the information was the same.

Cooper Creek was an incredible area to explore in Daintree Forest. We swam in the fresh water, saw fish, bats, various frogs and insects and the vegetation was breathtaking!

This tour left the two of us feeling immensely privileged to have shared in some of Neil's "treasury of memories". A guided walk through an ancient area - the world's oldest rainforest! - that few people would have the opportunity to explore in such an intimate way. Whether it was learning about the importance and role of cyclones on the health of the rainforest or how humans have both caused great trauma to the environment but have this same power to restore, recalibrate and save this irreplaceable ecosystem, it is an fascinating, reflective, and enlightening tour. Think Dr Karl meets David Attenborough ... be it his astounding recall of knowledge or ability to locate coin sized spiders that have camouflaged themselves as bird droppings, Neil makes this experience extraordinary. We appreciated his deep connection to country and that his walk was informed by his engagement with Traditional Owners, the original custodians of the land we were so fortunate to be immersed in for five very special hours.

Fantastic experience. I learnt so much on our 4 hour walk, Neil was so knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly. I often find it hard to listen and focus when on these sorts of things, but I was so captivated I found it easy to follow along. Wish I could have spent more time there learning even more, if we are ever in the area again we would definitely do it again!

What an experience to be shown this great ancient rain forest one of the oldest in the world by a man who’s passion for the forest shines bright through Neil! His knowledge of the forest is very high and his passion regards to maintaining it for many more generations is something to be inspired about and his love for the indigenous local tribes and there right to their lands. His story telling with teaching of the rain forest will keep your mind going and going opening up a world of possibilities and wonder. I highly recommend the 4 hr tour but if you feel that might be tough they also do a 2 hour tour.. So as we started the tour we came across Mother Nature at her best.

11/10. Worth every cent and more. Neil is a insightful & passionate tour guide - I came out seeing the rainforest in a completely new light. We felt very fortunate to have a custodian of this special landscape share his knowledge with us.

Wow! We took a 2-hour walk with Neil and were blown away by his depth of knowledge and the thoughtful way he imparts it. Trained ecologists or environmental scientists will be challenged to keep up with all he knows! Highly recommend for those wanting a deep and rich understanding of the Daintree rainforest.

Highlight of our time in the Daintree! Neil is an incredible guide, I could listen to him talk all day. We chose the 2 hour tour thinking that was a long time, but next time I would do the 4 hour without a doubt (the time flew by!). This tour really takes experiencing the Daintree to the next level, and I would recommend it to everyone visiting this area who wants a true rainforest experience. Thank you Neil, you are an incredible and inspiring person and doing amazing work caring for your world heritage area.

We booked a half day tour to the Wujal Wujal waterfall on the Bloomfield track. Mike is a SUPER guide! His knowledge of the fauna and flora in the region is extensive. We could even talk with him about history, culture and politics. It was a interesting and Instructive day. Thanks for the journey Mike

We did a full day 4wd tour with Mike from Cape Tribulation up through the Daintree rainforest to the Wujal Wujal waterfall. Mike is a wealth of information and showed us places that we wouldn’t have known about if we had been on our own. It is an incredibly beautiful part of the world and Mike was an amazing guide. Would highly recommend!

If you are in Cape Tribulation, definitely go for a Horse Ride. The tour takes 1,5 - 2 hours and is super relaxing in a beautiful location. Once you are at the beach, the guide will takes pictures of everyone for a great memory to look back. The horses walk slowly and are very well behaved, I always felt safe. Due to insurance reasons, they are not allowed to make the horses run etc, hence it will be a slow ride (just for the experienced riders to know).

Looks like the horse place is about to get a make over, but with what we got was a great experience and a great pace for first timers and to take in everything around you without worry of having to control the horse all the time. Great fun for all ages and sizes.

Was really keen to do this however being an inexperienced rider and being given a slow stubborn horse left me feeling disappointed. While there was an experienced rider with a very obedient horse. I also didn’t appreciate the guide grabbing my leg and forcing it to show me how hard to kick the horse to get it moving! Suffered pain after as I have an old injury and a plate n bolts in ankle have been hiking on this trip over 300km and had to rest up after this. My but was sore after but that’s to be expected. Would I do it again? No! We have horses and not for riding! I don’t believe in beating a horse or whipping it or kicking it to get it to obey. The ride was for beginners however it left me with a bad experience. Prefer camels any day! We rode through rainforest and then down the beach for pics and back again. Another issue was the guide was very informative however could not hear a word he said most of the time including instructions for horse riding. Not my fault the horse was lagging behind and needed constant kicking. I’m sure his talk was great about the bush foods we came across which I might have gotten something out of it if I could hear him!

What a great relaxing afternoon ride from rainforest to Cape Tribulation beach. Gerry was very loving to the horses & informative on flora & fauna throughout the rainforest. Brooke was so helpful taking photos along the ride and also backtracking after the ride in the ATV to find my prescription sunglasses. Thank you again 💓

Beauitful mid-morning horse ride. Perfect for beginners, the staff really look after you and are so knowledgeable about the horses and the area. The only downside was that our group was a bit big, and we were stuck in the middle, so we weren't able to hear the guides' information on the rainforest and beach as we walked through. This didn't take away from the experience. It was still a nice relaxing stroll through the daintree.

Absolutely magical experience - there is just something wonderful about riding a horse. Plus, horse riding on the beach, with clear blue skies made it even more special. The three guides were friendly, educational and helped take pictures of this special moment. The horses were well trained, followed everyone's instructions and perfect for beginner riders. We rode through the stable property, crossing roads (must have been quite a sight to the people driving cars), forest/mangroves and onto the beach, then back again - lasting 2 hours. Had a great afternoon!

Booked this for my 14year old and husband as I can't ride and they had a wonderful time. Very lucky with the weather and the horses were a dream to ride, very well trained. The guides knowledgable about the area and the horses too. A must and something different to do!

Magical location! I am a beginner rider and was nervous prior to the ride but their was no need. Horses were well trained and we only walked. The team of three staff were so friendly and helpful and even took photos for us at the beach. Made us feel very comfortable. Our family of four all loved the 2 hour ride through the property, across the road, through the rainforest and along the beach at Cape Tribulation. We even road through the water. Great activity to do together and amazing part of the world! Highly recommend!

The horseback ride was great, Brooke and Jerry guided us well and explained a lot about horses, as well as the typical flora of the rainforest. We also got to go to the beach with the horses, which was amazing. Thanks for a great time, we'll be back!

Did the morning beach ride with them and my wife, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wandered down several trails and did a short walk along the beach and into the ocean. They did a nice job of teaching us some things about the rain forest. I definitely recommend it if you enjoy trail rides.

This was an absolute highlight on our first trip to Cape Tribulation! The staff is super friendly, easygoing, flexible and understanding. The horses are super friendly too! Just sometimes not between them but hey, they have feelings too! The guides go above and beyond to make your ride tick all the boxes you’re expecting and would engage conversation to recommend you places within Cape Trib! Of course we’re coming back!

Boardwalk track was fantastic. Make sure you don't walk with other groups of people and be a squire as you can so you can see some wildlife. We saw a couple of goannas, smaller lizards, yellow belly snake, and lots of different birds. Only downside would have been there are not spots to just sit and watch.

What a wonderful walk this is from the Daintree forest down to the ocean. So easy to get to really enjoyable for the family we stayed in picnicked and had a great time. It had all the amenities there and we went back couple of times

These boardwalks in the area are wonderful and this one was our favorite. Well maintained, and great for those with limited mobility. We saw birds, a snake, a large lizard and more. And view of the beach too.

Easy walk along the boardwalk. Time depends on how much you linger ... 30-60 mins. Lots to see ... mostly mangrove but really interesting. Good information boards along the way. Some awsome trees and plants ... especially the tree ferns. Saw crabs, fish, wompoo fruit-dove, other birds and a couple of pademelon.

Highly recommend to do this walk while you are here. I saw amazing Fan Palm trees throughout and the forests are ancient and beautiful. Saw some butterflies and colorful birds too.

Very relaxing and enjoyable loop boardwalk through the Daintree Rainforest at Cape Tribulation. Plenty of car parking and on-site toilets. Can also walk down to Myall beach via the boardwalk or directly from the car park. A highlight of our visit to the area.

Really nice boardwalk. It leads to Myers (or something) beach which was nice. You can't go swimming because of crocodiles but it was still nice to walk along. You can take a short walk to the beach, or the long way, and then go the short way back if you like. Was beautiful to stop and look at the amazing trees and plants. We saw some bush fowls too and they were cute. Would definitely recommend!

The frond plants here are otherworldly! These plants must have provided inspiration for science fiction movies such as Avatar. This boardwalk is a bit longer than Madja and Kulki but still an easy 30 minutes walk while taking lots of photos! We encountered very loud bats on the way out as well.

Best short hike in the Daintree If you only have the time, or energy for one walk, this is the one to pick. It's very close to Cape Tribulation, and is an easy, flat looped walk from a large car park, which also has toilets and picnic tables. You can cut the walk in half with an escape loop, or do the full circuit, and also take a short diversion down to Myall Beach. The scenery is superb with sensational palm trees and lovely patches of rainforest. A must do on any visit to the Daintree.

Fascinating boardwalk through coastal rainforest. All on a boardwalk, easy and safe. Plenty of wildlife if your quiet and not hurried.

I liked this boardwalk better than Madja mainly because it was longer, it was well lit (as opposed to being covered entirely by trees so it looks darker), and most importantly more wildlife. I did this walk twice today! The morning walk I got to see feral pigs, as well as lots of fowls and other smaller birds. There were interesting looking spiders too. My afternoon walk was the better one. Got to see a cassowary! It was actually on the boardwalk! This boardwalk is also next to the Myall Beach where there is a giant croc there too! Highly recommend this walk!

Jeremy and Merran were fantastic hosts. It was great to be able to chat about the farm, the fruit, the history of the place and their varied experiences over an assortment of exotic fruit for breakfast. Their local knowledge re: eating/walking etc. was really helpful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The morning delivery of tea and coffee was also a nice touch as well as the return ferry fare included for a 3 night booking. Thanks again to you both. Chris and Mary

We had an amazing time here. It was a first-hand experience of staying on a tropical fruit farm. Our host Sam was super accommodating and supplied us with plenty of all of their delicious harvest.

If we could could rate it 6 stars we would! Merren and the boys were incredible hosts so friendly and knowledgeable. Our stay at the Cape wouldn’t have been the same without them! The cute cabins are very clean and comfortable. We look forward to returning one day!

What a fantastic place to stay! Serene surroundings with the exotic fruit bowl for breakfast (real yummy 😋) Cottages are beautifully furnished with hot shower and air-con. Full kitchen just a few steps away from the cottage - places to eat out too despite being remote. Plenty activities near by with snorkelling place just around the corner from the farm, not forgetting the most picturesque beaches. Would love to come back ❤️

Sam lead the tasting providing some fantastic information about the fruit, how it's grown, history of the family farm and some stories from the local area. Was a fantastic experience tasting fruits, some I hadn't tried before. Then we spent some time walking around the orchard. I was impressed with the way they conducted the serving of the fruit, the knowledge and way Sam conveyed it, and how happy they were to answer questions. Brilliant experience and learnt so much! Only thing that could have been improved would be larger serves of the fruit, but that is just me being greedy as they were so delicious! Thankyou so much for opening your farm to us!!!

Great fruit tasting experience. We learned a lot and tasted a lot as well. Great set up and then walked us around the orchard explaining about the trees and plants as we went. Worthwhile visit and worth paying to see and taste. Good to taste fruit I have sometimes seen in a shop and not known what it is!

Sam welcomed us openly to the farm. We turned up hoping for a tasting and although we missed the start time he was happy to help us experience some of the awesome fruit on offer. Really surprising how ethereal this place is. So many different elements in a rainforest walk to witness. Beautiful ferns nestled high amongst the trees, mangrove swamps and pristine clear rainforest streams blend beautifully as if the traditional owners were painting a picture.

Easy short walk, the lookout was ok. The viewing platform was tiny. A lot of it had been washed out by the floods I think. There's lots of parking and a picnic area at the front. The toilets twere really clean. Parking is free.

Relatively short boardwalk, quite dark and forestry in there with not as much light coming through. But definitely worth a walk. There’s a creek running through it and the boardwalk is higher in elevation compared to the other ones in Daintree where you are closer to the actual rainforest where all the action (animals) happens!

It's a short and easy boardwalk in the forest. You will probably stop to take pictures, so expect to complete the circuit in 45 minutes - 1 hour. It's plenty of biodiversity and you'll easily spot crabs in the mangroves.

Stunning boardwalk through mangrove rainforest. Views of the trees and creek were clear and so beautiful. It isn't too long a walk so suitable for everyone. Lots of birds around too.

A beautiful place to stop and spend a half an hour of your life and experience something unique and spectacular. Even spotted a crocodile about half away along the walk. Plenty of different types of plants , river/creek scenes, wetlands, and just a very special experience. Free to walk in . Easy parking on the road. Probably best to try to avoid peak times.

A popular destination as the small car park was full. A very easy and short walk through rainforest and mangroves via an elevated boardwalk, eventually arriving at a viewing area over a large creek. Cros have occasionally been spotted here. Information signs are all throughout. Highly recommended.

Beautiful. Great place to see Cassowaries and other wildlife. One of the better boardwalks I’ve been on. Trails through a number of different biomes. Suitable for children or elderly.

This was a short chill walk through the daintree rainforest. It was rather popular and there didn't seem to be enough car spots for everyone wanting to walk but that was fine. It was beautiful looking at all the different plants and fan palms, I loved it! There were many signs along the way that had lots of information and what to look out for at certain times of the year. The mangroves were also really amazing to see too. Would definitely recommend this walk, its very easy and rather short so would be suitable for many people.

Madja is a loop track that starts right on the highway, about 3/4 of the way from the ferry to Cape Tribulation. It's a nice, easy flat walk on a boardwalk and graded track, which for the most park follows a mangrove swamp, with glimpses of the river. If the tide is out, that makes it not that scenic, but it's still worth a stop, and can be completed at a leisurely pace in well under an hour. There's a small amount of parking off the highway right at the start of the track, and plenty of other spots alongside the highway on the opposite side of the road. No toilets here, and, if pressed for time, Dubuji at Cape Tribulation is a better option.

Fantastic walk through the oldest living rainforest, super informative and thought provoking around how conservation is managed. Due to the information side of things we noted children were less interested as the walk went on. Overall it's a fascinating look at this part of Australia, and was value for money. Walk itself is very easy with a section over the tree roots the hardest.

The GREAT WILDERNESS TOUR by Neil from Daintree Rainforest is not like any other "standard" tour where you'll end up disappointed. It was a fantastic and unforgettable experience in the rainforest, walking through water, mud and right through a high density of plants and trees. The 4 hour hike covered 7.2km and was complemented by in-depth knowledge sharing of the biology and interconnections of the ecosystem as well as aboriginal culture. I can only recommend anyone to get a taste of the great wilderness tour, soak in nature and learn a lot from the wisdom of our guide Neil, who's also the owner of their family-owned business. They earn my highest recommendation. I will never forget this memory. Thank you so much, Neil.

A must see when travelling in Far North QLD. We went to the discovery centre to do our exploring. Very very hot in wet season though, so dress smart and perhaps avoid the wet season!

The Daintree Rainforest is an amazing place to visit with plenty to learn about the forest ecosystem. However, getting there can be quite challenging. The drive is long with twisty and dangerous roads, often undergoing roadwork. Additionally, the ferry crossing, though short (only 2 minutes), is quite expensive at $50. For those who don't enjoy driving in such conditions, it's worth considering a tour operator for a more comfortable and stress-free experience. Despite the challenges, the beauty and richness of the Daintree Rainforest make it a destination worth visiting.

Great small group tour of the rainforest. I had an impression that it would be an official park but this tag and website is for private guided tours so one needs to book and arrange it instead of just popping in. But it is really worth it. It felt intimate and we've learned a lot about the forest. It is a completely different experience than just non-guided self walks or big parks.

Daintree is a wonderful place to visit if you’re a nature lover. For kids it’s a great place to teach them how interesting and precious the nature is. Trees and vines that are many thousand years old, river, streams and waterways working their way around the landscape to move the water downstream, and walking through that you can enjoy every moment of the time there. If you are visiting Cairns, a must do. Make sure to allocate a day for the trip or at minimum a good half day. Cafe at the visitor centre is decent, serves a few varieties, but food can get finished early when busy. So plan well if you want to have lunch there or take your own lunch. Many interesting souvenirs and gifts at the merch store

A stunning and beautiful place to go for time out, and just BE with nature. The beaches and creeks are amazing and the wild life and sounds of the jungle at night is an experience that stays with you.

Absolutely magnificent. I love the peaceful environment and being surrounded by natural beauty. Have fun just walking On the beach or boardwalks, Swing through the tree tops or ocean safari, horse riding through the rainforest and beach, crocodile cruising, Night walks. Or go glamping or try some local restaurants.

It was great to be able to chat about the farm, the fruit, the history of the place and their varied experiences over an assortment of exotic fruit for breakfast. Their local knowledge re: eating/walking etc. was really helpful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Our nearby Airbnb host mentioned it and we stopped by on a whim. Glad we did as it was very enjoyable. Lady running it spent time showing us around. Great stop! Don’t miss it

Disappointed to find the gates shut and a closed sign. Mixed reviews say permanently closed while others saying still open... opening hours say 10am open, got there at 10am to find a closed sign at the gate. Came back later just in case but it was still closed. Phone number disconnected, website link dead, no updates to hours on social media. Such a shame, my son and I were looking forward to checking it out.

Great place to check out!! So many weird and wonderful insects!! Called up because the place was not open so we got a private tour! Lovely freshwater creek out the back with fish to feed too!

Got recommended this by a local called Bret, who gave us some mackerel. Hes friends with the owner and we had a blast! Check it out its great stuff, very interesting!

What a fantastic display of bugs a private collection open to the public . The owners are lovely people and very informative. There is also a lovely swimming hole as well.

We enjoyed the visit. We arrived late and the very friendly staff fired up the generator to put the lights back on. We got to look at a couple of live specimens out the front and then checked out the collection. Worth a look if you are interested in insects (many of the specimens were collected outside of Australia).

A must visit if you’re in the area! Such a huge wonderful collection! It’s cash only for entry as well. It’s a family run business with wonderful knowledge of the collection, and great stories of some very interesting bugs! They also sell beautiful bugs and butterflies to take home, great memorabilia of the local area. Really beautiful creek on the property too, with great tables perfect for morning tea ☺️

Wonderful little quirky gem of a museum, sporting a wonderful collection of insects, specimens from all over the world, as well as some living lively local species. Stephen is a wonderful gent, who regaled us with lovely anecdotes about the rituals and behaviour of certain insects, as well as entertaining anecdotes of his lifelong work to collect and acquire rare specimens. Was a lovely stop off, on our way through the Daintree forest, would highly recommend.

Quiet little beach! But most importantly, there is a wild sighting of a massive male crocodile. Walk to the RIGHT side of the beach, all the way to the end until you can’t go any further. Then turn towards the 2 o’clock direction where the horse track trail leads. Walk into it and look out for the left embankment. Across the creek is this said dinosaur.

Beautiful forest filled with wildlife!

A very busy little area, after walking down boardwalk you're greeted by beautiful white sand and clear water. The day we spent here there were a few tour boats who had landed close by along with a horseback tour. This should tell you that it's a very sought after location to be. The walk to the beach is highly interesting with information signs along the way educating visitors. After you leave the carpark there are some lovely public barbecue areas with undercover seating available which would have a wonderful location to unwind with some lunch.

Absolutely stunning beach! Free from piers, walkways or marinas - feels very untouched and natural. Best not to swim here as there are warning signs for crocodiles and stingers. We recommend staying at Safari Lodge (caravan park and cabins).

The bad thing it’s that you can not swim because of the crocodile and jellyfishes… I think these guys choose the best beaches to live…. But you can take some good pics

Ah Cape Tribulation. You must stop for some ice cream tasting on the way there! The rainforest exploring was beautiful and very informative. Love it.

It is at this magnificent location that the end of the Great Barrier Reef Drive journey is achieved. To reach Myall Beach, park in the Kulki Boardwalk carpark and begin the walk over the ridge of the Cape Tribulation headland and down through the coastal forest. An exquisite sight awaits, the stunning Myall Beach. The Myall Beach walk joins the Kulki Boardwalk to the north and the Dubuki Boardwalk to the south, a distance of about 1.5km

Amazing drive from Cairns to Cape Tribulation. Stopped at this beautiful beach. Well worth the drive. Just don't forget about the Crocodiles like I did. :)
