Superb view day & night! The view from the ground is very good. There is no need to go up for capturing a picture, but it's good to enjoy taking a walk to the tower. Best to take a ticket online(I prefer walking till the second level and coming down(€10)). The city view from the second level is more beautiful and clear than from the top level. Also we are here to see the tower, not the city view! Walking till the second level is a little hard task, so if you are capable of only walking, otherwise take the lift.

The most magical thing to witness at night. This was a bucket list thing for me, and I wasn't remotely disappointed. It's breathtaking and I wish I could visit more often. The lights sparkle every hour on the hour for anyone waiting for that. If you cross the street you can get some full great views of it also.

Paris is an incredible experience with innumerable museums, parks, restaurants and beautiful sites but the Eiffel Tower is one of the most interesting places to visit. The view from the top is breathtaking but it's not the only thing to enjoy. Around the tower we can find hundreds of souvenirs sellers, people from all parts of the world, restaurants, street artists and many other surprises. There is a flow of energy which makes the visit a remarkable experience.

There were a TON of people there. However, we still could take amazing photos. There were tons of vendors there that provided water, photography, and souvenirs! Although it was very warm there, by the time it was 11pm, the Eiffel Tower was glowing brightly lighting up everything around it. I would recommend for tourists to come see this if they haven’t for the first time. What a beauty!

Of course you'll go to the Eiffel Tower in Paris! But did you know you can climb it too! We walked up and bought tickets on the day. Expect crowds if the weather is good. You must go through security so leave the big bags behind. You can opt for stairs or the elevator. If you want to go to the top there will be another queue you can expect for the second elevator after people have taken in the views and pictures at the first level. There are many vendors around the bottom for trinkets so you don't have to buy at the gift shop. the top was closed. There was also a lot of construction/remodeling equipment under and on the tower due to preparations for the 2024 Olympics. Nevertheless, our elevator ride up to level 1 and 2 was a great experience. I suggest going in the late afternoon so that you can experience the tower in daylight and nighttime. We did this, and we have a great variety of beautiful photos. The views of Paris from the 2nd floor are breathtaking.

Visiting the Eiffel Tower was an absolute highlight of our trip, and it left us in awe of its beauty and the breathtaking views it offered. We gone to top of Eiffel Tower with lift and the Ticket price was 28 EURO per person without Guide. And no visit to a world-famous attraction is complete without a bit of waiting, and we queued up for about an hour before we could step foot inside the tower. While the wait was a tad long, it was entirely worth it for the unforgettable experience that awaited us at the top. Plus, it gave us a chance to soak in the anticipation and excitement of the other visitors around us. We decided to ascend to the second floor, and the experience was nothing short of magnificent. As we reached that elevation, we were greeted with a panoramic view of Paris that truly took our breath away. It's amazing how different a city can look from such a lofty vantage point. The sweeping vistas of iconic landmarks, the winding Seine River, and the sprawling cityscape were a sight to behold. In the end, our visit to the Eiffel Tower was an absolute triumph. The memories of those astonishing views will stay with us forever, and the hour-long wait was a small price to pay for such an iconic and mesmerizing experience. We went with a tour company which allowed us to get through the queues faster- that was worth it. We also bought summit tickets. It was cool going up to the summit (a little nauseating) but in terms of enjoying the views the second floor did the job. Be mindful that there is a another queue on the second floor to get to the summit. Overall it’s well worth going but be prepared for crowds and queues.

Wow wow wow!! Spectacular! An iconic monument! It's a wonderful experience holding hands of your loved one and walking by the Eiffel Tower in 'city of love'. Equally good to watch both day & night. I personally liked the night view especially the glitter light effect of the tower that come on every 30minutes! The queue to access the monument is not worth the wait unless you really want to go in. It is indeed an unforgettable experience you must not miss out! 100% recommended!!

If you're reading this, you're probably going to visit no matter what you read in reviews, so I'll focus on things to know about visiting. 1. In June 2023, the tower is being painted. I read it will no longer be brown, but a more yellow-brown shade. You can still go up, and the efforts are pretty unobtrusive, but there is some safety netting up and some small areas on the observation decks that are blocked off for painters. 2. One person in our party is in a wheelchair. She was able to go up one lift (I believe the second floor), but could not go to the top. 3. The grounds underneath the tower are under some construction, I presume to prepare for the 2024 Olympics. As a result of that and a fair number of people on the day of our visit, restrooms were limited and lines were long. 4. We visited the tower during the day but stayed in the area to get a view of it at night. It's a truly beautiful sight, even more so at night. If you do go at night, be sure to have a good viewing spot at the top of the hour, as that's when the lights sparkle. 5. We bought tickets in advance, but there was still a pretty long wait. It's a huge tourist attraction after all, so be prepared.

At first when I saw it, nothing happened. Then I went near by and there was huge tower. Then when I went to upper side it was super view. Then in evening when I was just going on river cruise at that time it took my heart. It was so beautiful to see it skinning like gold. It is always so many people so better to get all tickets booked online. Staff was helpful however many people not know English. But overall please visit it in evening for spectacular view.

It’s iconic and popular for a reason-I consider this a must visit in Paris! Highly suggest getting tickets ahead of time to go to the top, that way you can avoid waiting 1-2 hours in line. We went near sunset and it was breathtaking and really makes you appreciate the size of the city. Go to the lawn at dark and just take in the awesome vibe of the park and watch the tower light up every hour-it’s a total core memory!

Very busy, very windy. Wear good shoes and clothing that fits tightly. Bucket list memories made here. The night time views are spectacular, as both the tower and the city are full of lights. Great way to enjoy the City of Love.

During summer (August - September ) the evening slot after 17:30 is highly recommended as you can watch the beautiful Paris sunset. The most iconic and most visited place in Paris. Summit is highly recommended as you get the main spectacular 360 degree view of Paris. You get to see a different side of the city from here at the top. We were lucky to have experience the sunset from the Summit. Very very special in itself.

Extraordinary Views and Beautiful Engineering, but I would not go again to wait in the winter was 3 hours from the start until we got to the top of the tower at the top floor. The elevator ride is less than 90 seconds, but the line is absolutely horrendous. There are four elevators from each leg of the tower going up, but people take their time up top or course make it worth their while since it took 3 hours or so to get there. Plan on at the very least 1/2 day to do the Eiffel Tower, but I recommend just taking pictures from all the different streets in the first 500 meters away from the tower. Of course the experience is great to get up to the top but only once for me… I don’t like big crowds and people pushing you and you constantly have to touch or be touched by someone. Not my usual cup of tea. Great attraction and a big cash cow for France. I would own one if I could attract so many people and get that much cash out of it. Jan 1, 2024 was our visit to the tower at 4:30pm. If you can buy tickets to skip the line, and cash isn’t a problem, do that… the best views and pictures are from the 2nd floor.

Definitely a must do in our lifetime! The premise was clean in all levels. The staff was friendly and helpful. Be ready to do a little bit of a lane. One for security to get in, one to buy tickets, and others when taking the elevators (depending if what levels you are going)

The Eiffel Tower needs no introduction but is still an absolutely amazing place to visit! We were able to spend more time in Paris than we were planning after our connecting flight was cancelled, and we took the opportunity to go to the top of the tower, and enjoyed seeing the sun set from the top. This was mid-February, so it was off-season, and the wait times were not bad at all. We had to wait less than 10 minutes to purchase our tickets and less than 20 minutes total for the lifts. Adult fare for a trip to the top is 28 Euro, but we thought it was well worth it and was definitely a highlight of our short time in the city. After the tower tour we took a river boat cruise and enjoyed seeing the tower all lit up. The tower has sparkling lights that flash for 5 minutes every hour on the hour - very neat!

I personally believe this place don't need any kind of review but still I like the vibe here and also I will suggest everyone who are planning to visit is not to miss the light Show which happens every hour for 5 minutes. Besides that don't just take a view from the bottom but instead of that go to the top of the tower and enjoy the scenic view of the city in night. You can pre-book the top view online so you don't have to wait in lines for the tickets.

It was a great visit! We had a lot of fun during the 3 hours we spent on our visit to the museum and we saw a lot of great sculptures and paintings. Definitely recommended to buy the tickets in advance so you have to wait less time at the entrance queue and bring some food of your own so when you finish your visit you can have something to eat (if you don’t want to spend any money in the cafeteria).

One of the best museums in the world. If you love art, you can literally spend an entire day inside without getting bored. The building is huge with so many rooms displaying artworks and artifacts from different parts of the world. Despite the crowds, I still very much enjoy my visit.

The feeling you get in front of the masterpieces is indescribable. Definitely a must go in Paris. The place is huge, a little complex to navigate, but every corner is a great surprise. We bought the tickets online when we were already there. There is a Starbucks, other cafeterias and restaurant. There is audio guide and maps of the building.

One of my favorite places in France. It's breathtaking, the history and every room has so much to tell. You'll need one whole day to really see most of it, because the museum is really big. You must plan to be there for minimum 4 hours.

Quite a lot of work of arts. I saw the highlights, but wished I could have seen more. Will go back definitely. We walked about three km and focused on about three statues and the Mona Lisa. It was amazing to learn a bit about the history of the museum and where all the art came from. Great to see the Mona Lisa in low season. I recommend seeing it when it’s not high season.

Biblical art was absolutely breathtaking, gigantic beautiful pieces which looked magnificent in person. Without a doubt the highlight of the Louvre. The Mona Lisa is, as expected, nothing special, but I highly highly recommend going to see it as the walk there is packed with gorgeous biblical art, and the room it’s in is also filled with this.

Spent three hours in this magnificent museum, and still didn’t see everything. Saw the obvious delights but wow, what a huge building ! Was very hot inside, but well worth a visit. Spend the day there so you don’t miss anything

The largest and most impresive and beautiful museum I have ever been to, it is a multiple day endeavor: After selectively stopping for specific masterpieces, it took me 5 hours just to get to see half of the exhibition. A truly must see, bucket list visit. You must buy your tickets online for a specific time of entry into the museum, so plan carefully your visit.

What more to be said than everything that's written during the years about the worldwide famous Louvre museum. Yes, it is extremely big. Yes, you can spend days and days discovering the collection. Yes, the Mona Lisa is really small. Yes, the museum is overcrowded by people. Yes, there's a long waiting line. Inside this information is where the museum's only problem is hidden, It's too much of the good thing. There are so many objects and paintings in every room that it's almost impossible to focus on one thing. The Louvre does a great job in showing how versatile their collection is, but there isn't a lot of information in every room about what you're looking at. It would be an improvement if they leave more space between every painting, so you can have a good look at all the details. The building itself and the entrance with the pyramid are impressive, a pure joy to enter. Be sure to take your time or just focus on certain parts of the museum, as you'll probably lose time and be there the whole day. 4.5/5.0

Beautiful architecture, and wonderful art exhibits. The location is accessible for disabled individuals as well. It is best to arrive early as possible. If you were not able to get to Angelina to have dessert or hot chocolate, don't worry as there is a location on site. Enjoy!

Sculpture and art from three thousand years ago right up through today in an expansive edifice modified to enhance your experience. This is the quintessential art museum in a city of world class art museums. One can rent an audio tour here, which is a Nintendo, that is interactive and provides highlights and incredible insight into the more popular displays - highly recommend. The complex is so incredible as to be overwhelming.

This place is huge and one of the most visited places on earth. The museum has so much to offer and learn from, so be prepared to spend hours there (one day isn’t enough to explore half of the museum). A beautiful museum with timeless and priceless artifacts, which will leave you awestruck. It’s a must see in Paris. Kindly book your tickets in advance and all roads will lead to the “Mona Lisa”.

Didn’t expect much, and was a bit surprised. It’s a nice experience with many many art pieces, among other things. It was pretty crowded and quite hard to navigate, but it’s expected for it’s size and popularity. Also, As an EU student under 25, the entrance was completely free, which is insane and thanks to France or whoever did that.

Went there several times and have yet to understand how to find the Mona Lisa in one go (I’m the worst tour guide). As for reservations: - Make an online reservation beforehand (on the same day is fine) so that you don’t have to wait in line in front of the pyramid, you’ll scan your ticket super quickly (real time saver). - If you aren’t an original EU citizen but are currently studying here, you’ll need to bring your student ID and a pic of your visa (student ID or ID alone doesn’t suffice) to get free entry.

The most visited museum in the world, home of some of the most famous paintings like Mona Lisa, Liberty Leading The People. Ticket prebuy is recommended. There are cafes with reasonable prices in the museum. Have a bottle of water with you, it will take 2-3 hours or more to finish. Quite crowded.

This is by far, one of the most beautiful and dazzling cathedrals I have ever visited, maybe also because of all the story behind it. The architecture is amazing and just being there is an out of this world experience. Everything gels near this spot and there are so many options for the visitors nearby to go as well. I had the opportunity to visit short before the fire in 2019 and I could see it inside and from the top too. I hope they finish restoring it sometime soon as nothing beats going inside it and seeing Paris from its top tower. So, I hope to come back soon. I recommend this visit 100% 🙌🏼

This church within the heart of Paris is an absolute must-see. Here, you'll experience amazing Gothic architecture and history. Whenever it's able to repoen, I'd urge everyone to see this in person at least once in their lives. It's truly breathtaking. Note that the pictures are from before the unfortunate fire.

This famous cathedral is simply impressive, even if it is half covered by scaffolding and is closed to the public. We enjoyed walking around the outside and reading all the informative signs. Amazing to think how old it is and that construction took 400 years! It is great to see it being restored and will be very interesting to tour once it is completed.

Revisit this again, after the fire. Even though we cannot get inside, there are still lots of people in the plaza, admiring the Cathedrale from outside. There are also lots of information board addressing the reconstruction plans, pointing out interesting features, and so on. Still an interesting stop in my short revisit of the city.

So we just got here on Christmas Eve and this was one of the must sees for us. Well unfortunately it was closed for work. So we were not able to go inside but it was still one of the most amazing cathedrals we’ve seen. It looks from the look of the construction it is going to be even better. You can still good views of it so it is still a must stop to take a look

A lot people of visit this place although everyone knows it’s currently being rebuilt again after the fire incident(couple of years ago). There are some really nice places around and nice restaurants around from kebabs, Indian and Middle Eastern and Turkish etc. Perfect place for lunch, snack and dinner. just across the bridge there’s famous Shakespeare and company cafe. Really busy place to be honest. I would love to spend few hours around this place. If you are using big bus then there’s a stop just across the street.

We got to see it the year before the fire. It was breathtaking and humbling. It is gorgeous and filled with knowledge and history. Ths inside is much bigger than I expected, and it's just amazing to experience the history of the building.

Even though the Cathedral was closed, due to the work of restoration, still there are different displays all around the church that show you the inside as well as detailing the different works necessary to bring the cathedral to its original glory. The Cathedral looks really beautiful also from the outside and even though it is temporarily closed still there are a lot of people who visit it, just to get a glimpse of it.

Beautiful Parisian site to see while visiting the city. It’s currently closed for tours but the outside is open for site-seeing. It’s just beautiful. The whole place is big—a lot of art and detail to try and process. Coupled with the history of the location, it’s a lot to wrap your mind around. The area is beautiful as well. The cathedral is close to metro stations, and is built for foot traffic.ale sure to add this to your list of must-sees during your time in Paris.

It is a cathedral with a breathtaking architecture. However, after the fire that broke out in April 2019, restoration work of the cathedral is still underway. Hence the visitors are not allowed to enter the cathedral yet (as of April 2022). You can get a magnificent view of the cathedral from outside, if you go on a River Seine cruise at dusk.

Still beautiful despite the barriers in place. Viewing platform was busy mid week but is off centre so you’ll get a better photo from the ground anyway! Good for a quick bit of admiration! Lots of local bars and cafes

It was disappointing that 3/4 of the structure was covered/surrounded by tall metal panels that you couldn’t see through. Even though it’s burned and under construction I would have loved to see more of it. They erected a set of bleachers on the square for the public to sit and look at the front, but to see any of the rest you have to cross the Siene to see over the panels and through the scaffolding.

Historical and beautiful cathedral that is a must visit when in Paris. A lot of people outside church playing music and hanging out. The fence around the church details facts and stories of this church like when it was built and what happened the day it unfortunately caught on fire. It details all the damage it suffered and much more. Apparently the church is supposed to open again for visit in the fall of 2024. Hopefully next time I visit it will be open for tourists again.

While it was closed at the time due to the reconstruction work it's still an impressive site. At present there are various displays on the surrounding fences detailing the history and work taking place to restore the Cathedral to its former magnificence. To one side there is a large stepped platform where you can climb up to take a photo or simply sit and enjoy the view.

Visited here at the weekend. And whilst it is still closed there's a lot of information via the app and on the wall graphics. It's great to see the new spire and I believe that a free exhibition is opening soon to explain a lot more about the restoration work after the fire.

Great historical building but nicer churches nearby. The amount of tourists and traffic mean the atmosphere here is hectic and not enjoyable, even without the reconstruction efforts the volume of people and cars mean the area is packed, loud and not solemn.

It's a really beautiful place. Doesn't matter if it's winter, autumn, summer or if it's sunny or rainy. It will always be an iconic place. The place is not open to the public yet, but you can sit outside and take pictures in front of the building. Sometimes others come here and do some kind of performance here and there are places to sit and watch the performances with the Notre Dame on the back. You will find painters in the near, also in front of or there is another beautiful church, the Abbey Bookshop and the Oldest Tree in Paris. So, a lot to see in this area. Enjoy yourself here.

This is a beautiful building, we visited during the rebuilding after the huge fire, it was still amazing and can’t wait to return once she reopens to the public. 10/10 for history and architecture, to forgot to take a visit into the underground crypt next to the cathedral it is well worth a visit.

Awe inspiring cathedral still under restoration & not open. There is a viewing stand in the courtyard to watch the progress & a storyboard running the full length of the fence that explains how restoration is being done. Even though we didn’t get to go in, just seeing the cathedral & witnessing the restoration is worth the visit.

Our most favorite museum in Paris. It's a wonderland if you are a fan of impressionist art. Admire the location of an old train station with its iconic clock aside from all the wonderful art on display from the greats including Monet, Rembrandt, Picasso, and many others. Prepare to spend half a day here if you really want to soak in the museum. Definitely buy tickets in advance for a timed slot if you do not want to spend hours just in queue, especially if you plan to visit during high season. If you are visiting only one museum in Paris make it this one.

This is the best museum I've been to because they carry so many of my favorite painters (the impressionists like Van Gogh, Cezanne, Manet,etc). This was better than the Louvre as it had a better collection in my opinion, but also because it was more manageable and had less people. The louvre was insanely crowded.

What an amazing museum. The architecture of the railroad station is a stunning setting for a “modern art” gallery. We were visiting on a Sunday so we started early at 10am. By midday the place was getting pretty busy. I’m glad we got the place to Preakness for a couple of hours. The temporary exhibit about the early years of cinema was really eye opening and beautifully presented. I’ve attached some photos of my favourite pieces.

Get the tickets online or Paris Museum pass to skip the long line. We went on a Thursday afternoon and it was way less crowded than the Louvre and it felt easier to stroll the museum more leisurely. Much smaller than the Louvre. We spent around 2 and a half hours here and enjoyed it a lot.

I like this museum better than the louvre especially the beautiful room on the second floor and the impressionist and post impressionist displays. Definitely recommend. It took me 3-4 hours to see the whole museum. They have cute restaurants here too u would have liked to try. Good gift shop! Recommend getting tickets ahead of time.

I booked tickets without a timeslot and arrived half an hour before the museum opened. I expected to wait in line for a long time but at 9:30 the line moved fast and I went straight in. The museum is very pretty in a renovated train station. I spent almost 4 hours here. There are many beautiful impressionist and post impressionist artworks.

A great museum, large with multiple floors and covers some of history's finest in Van Gogh, Rodin, Monet etc. You can buy tickets online or get them free if you are 18-26 and an EU citizen. Otherwise if you miss the online sales get there early (around 9:00AM) so you can pickup one at the door for €2 less and pop right in. Lots of gift options inside as well as a restaurant and cafe. The building itself is elaborate and beautiful. If sculptures and impressionist paintings aren't your thing don't go here. Otherwise, enjoy!

One of my favorite tourist spots for a first timer for Paris. This museum was easier to tolerate than the Louvre... I find the artworks in here more elegant and stylistic than the classic Louvre, which is boxy and less ornate and incredibly crowded to even stand being in there for an hour. This museum by contrast was easy to see in one visit and it was extremely satisfying.

Can this be anything but five stars? This houses one of the greatest collections of art on the planet. What really surprised me is how manageable it is in terms of size. It’s actually possible to do most of the galleries in one visit. I have not expected that, I think it helps that the grand concourse through the center is a glorious open space, filled with statuary that provides a respite from the intimacy of the galleries

I am a fan of the impressionists and this place is awesome! Did a 90 minute guided tour which was well worth it both for the easy getting in and out, as well as for the help navigating the museum. Much smaller than the Louvre, but still very large. We came as it opened and it was not very crowded, definitely saw some lines when we were leaving.

It does not disappoint. My favorite floor was obviously the fifth but there is so much more as well. I had been reading about these paintings for twenty years but to get to see them in person is so different. It felt surreal and I love the layout of the museum and the friendly staff made it feel all the more dream like to me. Just standing in such close proximity to these beautiful pieces of art, that have inspired people for so many years, it was honestly hard to leave. Luckily there are lots of comfortable places to sit and although it’s a busy place for the most part, we felt like we weren’t rushed or that we couldn’t see what we wanted to see. All of the tags are in English and French, and their are English and other language maps available for the whole museum.

Amazing museum. All the paintings was exposed with such an amazing way that was very easy to understand the emotional situation that the artist wanted to show. Do not hesitate to take audio guide.If you do not take you will miss some very important information for the artist. Also there are some very unique collections that unfortunately are only for a few days per year.

Not only did we get to experience the museum's world-class collection, but the added bonus of free entrance made the visit even more memorable. The usual entry fee being waived on this day is a thoughtful gesture that allows art enthusiasts and curious minds alike to immerse themselves in the museum's offerings. From the moment we stepped into the grandeur of the building, we were captivated by the architectural beauty that seamlessly blends history with art. The natural light filtering through the iconic clock windows added a touch of enchantment to the entire experience. The layout of the museum is well-planned, allowing us to navigate through the different sections with ease. The vast array of artworks, especially the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces, left us in awe. Standing face-to-face with iconic paintings and sculptures that we had only seen in books was an exhilarating feeling. The informative plaques beside each exhibit provided valuable insights into the artist's life and creative process, enhancing our understanding and appreciation. The staff at Musée d'Orsay deserves special mention for their warmth and knowledge. They were more than happy to answer our questions and engage in discussions about the art pieces, making the visit even more enriching. Visiting the Musée d'Orsay on the first Sunday of the month was not only a smart way to save on entrance fees but also an opportunity to connect with art and history on a deeper level. This initiative reflects the museum's commitment to making art accessible to all, and we left with a renewed sense of appreciation for the artistic wonders housed within its walls.

Ha! Things are never like in the movies! Have seen small portions of this museum, 1 or 2 folks pass by as the star sits quietly, contemplating the picture. Yeah, right! Never has happened; I went through the museum on a weekday, and it was fairly crowded. From what I could tell and comments from some folks who have been there before, crowds are the norm. One example is the Mona Lisa, right? I was able to get through a crowd of non-moving folks just standing there. Fortunately, I have long arms able to elevate my arms up high enough to get a job picture. I think. Absolutely a must visit when in Paris! Only note I would add is that you really need days, if not weeks to fully see and enjoy all of this world class museum.

My favorite museum in the world. The setting in a former train station is completely unique and impressive. The sculptures and paintings, concentrated from the pre- to post - impressionist era, are truly breathtaking. The sheer size of some paintings is mind boggling, with unbelievable detail and unmatched artistry. I will be back many times.

Fantastic museum with great impressionist collection, beautiful building, we spend there 3h which was a minimum time needed. The best introduction into Van Gogh as his exposition was amazing. Highly recommended

We visited the fantastic Musée d'Orsay in Paris in the morning to avoid the crowds. Prior to our visit, we had pre-booked our tickets, making it effortless for us to gain admission without waiting in line. The museum is a must-visit for art lovers, as it boasts one of the most significant collections of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art. We were amazed by the vast collection - we had never seen anything like it before! Seeing the artworks that we had only previously seen in art books in person was incredible.

Amazingly beautiful building, the entry fee is worth it just to see the architecture. There are lots of historic art depicting culturally significant events/people/landscapes in the lower sections. However, the impressionist and more modern art of Gauguin, Van Gogh and Monet were amazingly beautiful and I was deeply moved. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this museum. I recommend starting in the impressionist art because there are a ton of gems here and it can be easy to get overwhelmed and tired. We went through the art eras that we appreciated the most and then were able to cruise through the other art and sculpture during the second half of the day. Came during the free Sunday visit and highly recommend to purchase tickets ahead of time to skip the crazy long wait lines

So much to see. (I don’t spoil here.) Recommended to go for a half day if you like arts. You can buy ticket and book a visit time slot online before you go (for a shorten queue for entrance). Otherwise, onsite tickets are available too.

Wonderful museum of Impressionism art. A definite visit if you go to Paris for art lovers. There is quite a few sculptures as well to enjoy. Tips: buy tickets in advance online from their official site. All kids under 18 are free. Start on the fifth floor (where all Impressionism works are) towards the front of building then go to back and descend for furniture floors (3 and 4 floors), then the lowest two floors have sculptures and paintings before impression period.

It's a must for art lovers to visit the Musée d'Orsay when staying in Paris. Whether it's a temporary exhibition or the museum's permanent collection, all the art on display is simply fantastic. To avoid queuing and waiting in line it's recommended to book tickets online and in advance.

One of the centerpieces of Paris, likely the most renowned museum after the Louvre. You can see some artists like Van Gogh, Claude Monet and Renoir, but to be quite honest they are not the ones stealing the show. The temporary exhibitions were great, but the most beautiful thing about the museum is the renovated railway station it's set in. Here you can witness some seriously breathtaking halls full of art and the sheer scale gives creeps. The building broke me. It's beautiful. Be warned, though. This is a huge museum and you'll probably need a better part of the day to see it. As a bonus, if you're under 26 years old and are a student in the European Economic Area, you can enter free of charge. It's free!

Highly recommend a visit. Watch the stairs though. When we arrived in Paris I wasn't feeling very well but persisted with the climb. Thank goodness there is a rest point, seats, information displays over half way up with the viewing camera looking directly below. Once at the top, you are greeted with 360 views of the beautiful Paris laid out before you. Enjoy the distant views and the amazing feats of endurance, skill and nerve of the drivers circling around the roads below you. Such an amazing monument and totally worth the visit any time of day or night.

It was a great view at the top and the monument itself was beautiful. The only note I would say is don't carry a pocket knife around as you will be denied entry. I was able to sort everything out.

A must visit historical site in Paris in Eiffel Tower district. We walked through the underground tunnel to the ticket window, hardly waited 5 minutes in the line before we got ours. They check your bags and you walk through a scanner. Beware there are quite a few stairs to climb, approximately 284 steps to the first floor on a spiral staircase and then there are more steps to reach the other two floors including the terrace. There's also an elevator to the main floor. From the top one can see the beautiful city. There's a beautiful souvenir shop also where you'll find things, at good prices, stationary is beautiful and I did not find such pretty notebooks anywhere else. Washrooms on the same floor. Once down, there's the tomb of the unknown soldier. Overall great experience!

Arc de Triumph is one of the places one must see when in Paris. This monument is simply majestic. The history behind it is so rich and breathing. We visited on a sunny Friday morning, as we wanted to beat the busy times, which usually start at around noon. We did bot reserve but instead got tickets directly at the desk after a short wait. Once you enter, you get to clime a spiral staircase, which leads to the 1st floor where all the history information is displayed and as well as interactive screens, shops and lavatories, etc. You also ge a breather as these stairs are steep. Once you reach the top, you one will be Wowed. If you get nice weather, you see Paris differently. This is done to the positioning of the monument. One has the feeling that you are on the centre as all 11 avenues lead to it. On each corner of the arch, there is an interactive map that shows you all the landmarks that you can see in the distance. Watching the public, traffic, and city life from the top one feel mighty and glorious. Great experience

Beautiful monument to soldiers and a must see in Paris. Crazy roundabout that surrounds it so be careful, if crossing. Didn’t get a chance to go up to the top but it was amazing to see from the ground. We had fun trying to figure out the traffic pattern too.

I didn't get a chance to get inside but definitely enjoyed walking around it and admiring this architectural art. You can surely take enough photos with it although many people are visiting there every day every hour. Be careful not to pass the road by walking, that's dangerous and wrong. There are different underground passes that will do the work. One of the must visit places in Paris, and looks like it is better to visit it by climbing it up and also getting an astonishing view of Paris.

The Arch is definitely worth the visit once in Paris. There is so much to learn about its history and architecture. It is one of the most famous monuments in Paris, France, standing at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. We visited the arch on a weekday. There was a very long line up and we had to wait for around 15 minutes though we had initially thought we could get easy access with the Paris museum pass. Booking tickets in advance is highly recommended.

Famous street and monument. Great spot to take pictures and walk around. Remember that to get in front of the monument you need to walk under the street by taking the stairs down. This will take you directly in front of the monument. Some people are not aware of this and just run through traffic which you’re not supposed to do and is dangerous. Great place and picture spot.

Absolutely excellent and well worth a visit, it is especially worth paying for a visit to the top for a spectacular view with some very interesting facts along the way. Be warned there are over 200 steps to the top, however I believe there is an elevator installed for disabled access. We came at an off peak time of year (February) minimal waits and minimal other humans. We also recommend buying tickets in advance as it makes the process much quicker and stress free.

I was there on a French holiday so the lines were long. Buying tickets in advance was nice to avoid two lines. The rooftop access has wonderful view of the entire city. Be prepared for a lot of stairs.

Majestically charming place in the centre of Paris. Beautiful architecture and overall vibe. Use the underpass to get there, do not run across the roundabout. Place is well maintained and clean. Many tourists visiting at every hour of the day.

Beautiful arc in the centre of the roundabout and easy to get through by tunnels. Amazing views from the top and I would highly recommend going at night as it’s the perfect place to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle. I was lucky enough to watch a procession while visiting

Great view at the top, not a bad entry fee at €13 for over 18s. Under 18s do go for free, however I believe they still need to queue up? Would highly recommend booking a ticket online it's way quicker and you don't have to queue for ages. Well maintained, has other parts to it. All round very good.

The climb to the top was very physically demanding. But the view from the top is beautiful! We even saw a ceremony for the unknown soldier when we came back down. Definitely worth a visit, especially in the evening when the whole city lights up! Recommend to purchase a museum pass or book tickets beforehand rather than buying a ticket there.

I understand why Paris Is an amazing place to have Educational field trip for Architecture students… it is simply one of the best cities that have this kind of experience to see human structural creations. It’s huge and really busy on weekends so we got lucky to see it on a weekday like this. People are taking pictures from the middle of the street so be careful please lol

The Arc de Triomphe was one of the highlights of our trip, ranking among the best monuments we visited. The view from the top was breathtaking, offering a panoramic perspective of the city. Additionally, ascending the monument and reading about the remarkable historical events and evolving political climate over the years was truly fascinating.

It is one of the most beautiful piece of architecture at most famous street Champs Elysees. One can reach here from main road via tunnel. In a busy season it is always very crowded. One can go up by stairs or by lift. The ticket costs 12 euro. It is worth seeing during day and night.

Need to take tickets to head up the stairs. View from terrace during the night is fantastic. Pick your ticket around 7.50 PM to view the Eiffel sparkle. It looks fantastic from the top. Make sure you go ahead of your time and reach the roof before 8 PM

A must landmark to visit when in Paris. Recommend a visit to the top of it as well, purchase tickets for about $16 euro for adult. Lots of steep stairs to walk to the top but the view is worth it. Awesome views of Paris!!❤️🇫🇷 So much history in this landmark, with a museum inside it u the top. Very popular place with tourists. Go through underground tunnel to get underneath the Arc de Triomphe, and purchase your tickets in the tunnel before exiting.

Amazing views of the city. Buy tickets ahead of time to skip the line. Be prepared to climb a lot of steps. I would suggest going about 30-45 minutes before sunset and get great pics of the city, and get a spot on the south side facing Eiffel. When the sun goes down the regular lights come on, and the next top of the hour the twinkling lights come on. So if sunset is 7:01 then the twinkle lights start at 8:00 so be prepared to wait if that’s the case. Can be cool and windy up top as well.

This is one of the best locations to visit while in Paris. I would say first place, especially if you aren't lazy enough to walk around and inhale the spirit of old Paris. Each time we visit this Basilica we find something new!

A beautiful place and a must if you visit Paris. The Basilica is really beautiful and it is collocated in the north zone of Paris, a little far away from the centre. From the top of the stairs, it is possible to admire the city. The only downside in this place are the people that try to force you to buy bracelets while you are going up the stairs. You really need to be careful as they tend to grab you and force you to buy something.

Stunning cathedral! It is located on top of the hill of MontMartre which is such a stunning little district of Paris, like how they depict it in the movies. Winding roads, cobblestone, old buildings and little paths and stairways up, lots of explore. You can go inside and visit the cathedral for free, and sometimes there is a live mass occurring. It is beautiful inside. You can also see Paris from atop at a vantage point here.

This was the most wonderful place I visited while in Paris! I fell in love with this cathedral the moment I saw it from afar. The outside of the cathedral is absolutely gorgeous. The inside is breathtaking. Definitely the most beautiful Cathedral I’ve ever been to. They offer the Eucharist at various times of the day as well as confessions. I arrived early in the day, therefore I didn’t have to wait in line to enter. I spent 3-4 hours here.

This place was unexpected. Our tour guide took us here without having known of it prior to going and boy were we surprised how beautiful and amazing it was! From the first time we saw it while walking up through the alley to the time spent walking through the church to admire all the detail we were captivated! And if that wasn’t enough when you walk out you will see some of the best views of Paris! It is well worth the trip! Do some research before going if you require any assistance getting around as there are cobble streets and a steady incline getting to and leaving the area.

Not the typical popular tourist spot like Eiffel tower or the Louvre. But it did not disappoint. A relaxing spot for the family and we stayed for more than a day. Took The Metro there, and walked around the streets leading to the church and took the tram next to the stairs up. The vendors sell the locks where you can write your names on them, and lock them along with others, what a memory to last a lifetime!!

There it stands beautiful on the top of the hill. Breathtaking! Climbing up the stairs I was astonished by the wonderful views of the city and the history marked on every step. Free admission. Totally worth the stairs climbing.

One of the best places to visit. The white domed cathedral located in Paris is an amazing place to see. The view is great from the cathedral. There is a metro station nearby and you need to climb a few steps to reach the hill top. The cathedral is beautiful from both outside and Inside. The view of Paris is stunning. There is also a cable car directly to the hilltop.

One of the most beautiful (and most busy) churches in Paris. You can take the tram or hike up a few flights of stairs. We got lucky and saw a service in process. The music acoustics were amazing. Small prayer candles (€2) large candles (€10). Cash and card are accepted. It is 7€ to go the top look out portion, 270+ Steps! No bathrooms. Tons of vendors selling souvenirs by the steps. If you walk down to the street there are plenty of other souvenir shops. Definitely a must see! Worth the steps to see the view! Ps, Bring a lock and key if you and your loved one want to place your lock on the exterior fence.

It is a beautiful white cathedral spotted at a really high place of the French capital, Paris. From there is possible to see almost whole city. And to get inside of the edification is possible too, from where you can have even better view of Paris, after climbing the tower. The inside is also nice. Other nice touristic place of this city!!!

We need to climb up with steps and if you can't walk don't worry left side of the entrance have a lift/vehicle to bring you up(paid service).After you reached the top ,you could see stunning view of Paris. What a magnificent cathedral inside and out. It offers a quiet atmosphere and you can visit a magnificent temple. From the outside, you can enjoy a wonderful view of Paris. Easy to access, there's a cheap cable car/funicolare.

Climb upstairs really worth the way! It’s an adventure lots of stairs really small, but still the view is amazing up there! I will go back for sure! And about inside it’s free and really great. And outside it’s a must-seen in Paris of course!

It was absolutely beautiful. Once you make it to the top, the views are stunning. The inside of the church is awesome. all of the little locks on all the fences, millions of them.. a man was outside, entertaining, playing his guitar and singing. I highly recommend it you must go.. but a warning you must wear comfortable shoes and be in decent shape to climb the millions of stairs to get to the top. I had to take several breaks before we made it up, but it was very well worth it.

A beautiful basilica Sacré-Cœur (Funicular) in France. Standing on top of a hill, vastly looking with white doms and a wide scenic view of Paris city from the church boulevard. Amazing external and internal architecture with an ancient look. We have to climb many steps and can use the transport system of an inclined elevator to the top from the bottom level for the cost of 2 euros. Very interesting to understand the culture and the belief. We can see many tourists fixing the padlocks on a fence as part of their love. Surrounding we can see many artists sitting and drawing, painting the portraits specially in a particular area. In history Pablo Picasso and many artists who spent their time over there. Tourists can get their portraits painted or pencil sketched  and buy souvenirs from there. A really peaceful place to visit in Paris.

After a long walk uphill, we finally reached the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. We were amazed by the structure, which held the beautiful stained glass windows and the famous dome. We could see people praying, taking pictures, and silently walking around to respect others. The breathtaking view of Paris and Montmartre from the hill made every step worthwhile.

A must if you’re in Paris. As simple as that. The place is located in a nice commercial area and has a great view of the whole city. You can go there with public transport but also walking. The whole way is full of nice places, parks and restaurants. The church is beautiful too, offers a better understanding of the importance of this building to the city. You have brochures and info on the building inside (for free) and as long as you’re quiet during your visit, you’ll enjoy it! It can get crowded depending on the time of the day that you visit but it’s great even when it’s busy. You get to see a different side of the Basilica. There are people singing, playing the guitar and that gives it a different vibe. Definitely popular among young people. The only observation I have is to be careful with your personal stuff and valuables since it’s a well known touristy place.

A most definite must see while you visit Paris. The building is beautiful and just majestic and impressive, the closer you get to it the better the details get. Prices to enter the basilica are quite affordable and the inside is just as majestic as the outside. Fair warning however, the stairs heading towards the basilica are not for the weak or the faint of heart, it is a significant climb there.

Majestic gardens in Central Paris, full of people enjoying the beautiful flowers and fountains, and viewing countless epic statues like the ring of French queens going back hundreds of years. Kids will love the playgrounds and renting little sailboats to float in the central fountain. Great place to explore.

Very nice tranquil spot to chill out in. The small pond with toy sailing boats to rent is really good to watch. Its a bit of a shame however that you cannot sit on any of the grass, and a lot of the park is dust/gravel. There are loads of chairs dotted around the park to sit on though and the palace is a good sight.

The most splendid park with sweeping views of the central gardens. Plenty of spots to sit in sunbath or cool off in the shade. You could spend all day here exploring and enjoying the gardens, sculpture, museums and people watching.

Very near to Luxembourg train/metro station. Also walkable to Palace du Pantheon etc. There were gazebo and other structures to get some relief from the rain and grab a coffee while we waited it out. The garden is very lovely beautiful and well managed and well decorated, and there were quite a few people hanging out and enjoying the warm albeit damp evening.

It's a beautiful place to walk around. I loved the playground, it was beautiful and my son loved it. The only thing is that you must pay to enter the playground and they charge kids and adults but on the other hand, it has bathrooms and the place looks very clean.

Beautiful... had a lovely picnic there. the statues were very interesting. I enjoyed reading all of the information about them. My son and I did almost a little treasure hunt, looking for various statues. It was a bit on the dusty side because of the driveways but I'm thinking it's because the weather was so dry over the summer.

I would almost change my favorite place to stay in Paris to be right next to this garden! It is a perfect place to walk, sit, relax, play, take a class, have a meeting, eat, drink...the list goes on and on! You will find plenty of seating and paths spread throughout, lots of entrances/exits, toilets (clean, in our experience), and snack stands. Truly a perfect place to spend an hour or afternoon!

This garden is breathtaking. My husband and I briefly visited but the wind and rain came in so we went back to our hotel. We only had limited time in Paris but we made a point of going back. Our absolutely favourite part is the Medici Fountain. We are huge readers and I cannot begin to explain the PEACE found at this fountain. There are chairs all around filled with people of all ages sketching, painting, or reading. We made this our reading spot the following day when the weather was better and it was such a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also located away from the rest of the gardens so it was quiet and oh so relaxing. I would recommend EVERYONE visit - there is a stunning palace, mini boats to rent and race, the majestic fountain as well as these beautiful trees for a lovely photo op. The whole place is stunning. Worth the visit :)

A very peaceful place. I bet this place in spring or summer is very crowded. Loved the view, and the peacefulness, fresh air. It is near a train station so you don't have to walk a lot to reach it. There are some food kiosks inside, mostly crepes. In case you're hungry or thirsty while in here you can grab something real quick. I will try to return in spring to see how it looks.

Gorgeous, immaculately maintained and expansive garden with fountains, statues and blooming flowers. A great park to spend an afternoon in the sun.

Gorgeous gardens. A must visit for anyone in the area. The gardens are filled with beautiful trees and plants as well as tastefully depicted sculptures. There is a round water fountain and many other attractions. There are pony rides as well.

My to-go place in the city. I love the comfy, natural vibe here. Sitting on a chair to read books and put your feet up is a perfect way to enjoy your afternoon. Many people love having food, chatting, and napping within the place.

Loved the gardens. On holiday, my family spent a few hours wandering around. The flowers were incredibly beautiful. Easily spent 3 hours wandering around. Grab a drink at the Cafe!

Amazing and great for kids! 5.50 euro to hire small boat for 30 mins. Play ground and lots of space for running! You can buy food and drink. Only negative are the toilets. They are free but not very clean.

Beautiful place to spend your Sunday. One of the best places for families to enjoy. Lovely area. Activities for children. Few kiosks to grab waffles and mulled wine. Perfect picnic place if you are in Paris. Do try mulled wine.

A beautiful garden in the heart of Paris. For someone not from France, the amount of publicly available seating and facilities are great. Can be explored in an hour or less if you’re hurried, or you can soak in the garden beds, flowers and trees over a longer period. Worth seeing if you’re in Paris

We had to escape the rain a bit on our visit but that was alright. There were gazebo and other structures to get some relief from the rain and grab a coffee while we waited it out. The garden was lovely and there were quite a few people hanging out and enjoying the warm albeit damp evening.

Really a lot of tourists here just taking pictures but not actually spending time to enjoy things, but it’s a large Jardin so that’s not a huge issue, but it’s sad to see people not appreciating it more. Very well maintained and landscaped, lots of places to sit and enjoy food as it’s a very safe jardin. Worth your time

It is a very big garden, where you can relax, take a walk, draw, read a book, have a snack, play with your friends/family. Honestly, it wasn't that impressive to me but it is actually a place for escape during your day and enjoy nature's beauty. I don't know if there is any parking space and public toilets.

Lovely place for a stroll. Beautiful gardens and fountains. Crepes and pastries available on the garden side. On the park side, you do have to pay for each kids activity, even the playground. 3 euros per kid and 1 per adult. Playground was great though. There’s a manual merry go round that my kids loved. 2 euros per ride. The little snack bar was meh and very pricey. Free sand boxes were good.

Excellent place for spending wonderful time in the gardens, cool by the little reservoir, quiet but busy, not in a bad way. Quality time spent in between work-tasks. Suitable either for leisure or a quick relaxing break during a busy day in Paris. There are plenty of interesting sights in the neighborhood and in the general area, so you can combine a walking tour of the city with a visit to the Jardin du Luxembourg. Strongly recommended.

Nice and free public garden where you can have a walk, check the fountain, or even the art pieces distributed along the garden. There were many seatings available for everyone. The garden looks also well maintained. Great option for tourists and good photo spots.

Beautiful garden with no ticket. Its beautiful in all seasons. Whether you want yo run or take a peaceful walk or enjoy a rainy day with kids or want to embrace the flowers in full bloom in spring to frozen lake in winter or eating a Crepe in front of majestic architecture. It has it all.

Must visit place in Paris! It's a glorious beauty beholding the grandeur for centuries! Tickets need to be purchased online. Need to stay in line for a few minutes, after which you pass through security, then a relatively narrow staircase. Once you enter you notice that it's only a single big space but for sure you will be awestruck by it's beauty! The details on each of the stained glasses and the colors used are just amazing! There's also a video display board on the side for more information.Definitely worth a visit! You exit through the souvenir room. There's a toilet facility just outside.

Beautiful, absolutely stunning stained glass! This was worth the price especially since Notre Dame is closed. You enter and go right up the spiral staircase to the main room. What detail. The doorway to a small patio has some amazingly detailed carvings. Beautiful stop!

Well worth a visit. Absolutely beautiful stained glass and atmosphere. We went to see a concert there, which was an excellent way of experiencing the church (book well in advance for this). As the church is attached to a government building account for an additional 30-60 min to get through security.

Breathtaking. I have seen many beautiful cathedrals and churches from the inside but this is really something else. The stained glass windows all around are simply awe-inspiring. If you go early or close to the closing time, the lines are not as long.

Was in France with one of my French friends who mentioned this place and so glad he did. It was a very cool find to drop by and see. It’s not super big, doesn’t take a long time to see but I would say it’s def worth it if you have more time in Paris or you’ve seen all the other big attractions.

Wow. Just stunning. Absolutely worth seeing. It would be a wonderful experience to see and hear a performance here too. Definitely purchase ticket in advance, and get there 10-15mins before your entrance time. Queuing system is clear if you read the well indicated signs. It’s simple and very well done. Amazed by the number of people trying to take food and drink into a beautiful building. Thankfully there is a tight security system with body scanner.

Possibly the most beautiful place in Paris. You walk into a small chapel with a beautiful ceiling and incredible stained glass window, which you think is awesome. Then you go up stairs and get blown away! The entire top half of the walls is stained glass - rich blues, reds and greens. Just stunning. You need to book in advance (online) and join the queue for your time slot. It's a small place so you may wait a ten minutes but it means you will have space in there. The area may look blocked off with police (next to the Palais de Justice) but show your tickets and they'll let you through.) You are welcome to take photos. There a public toilets before you leave.

There are two levels to cover. The lower level is beautiful but subtle and displays artefacts retrieved before the renovation and also houses the souvenir shop. The upper level is more crowded and home to the stained glass windows and statues along with the shroud. The place is beautiful inside. Tickets cost around 11€, but are free for certain groups. It's better to book them online in advance (though you might have to stand in a queue anyway).

Rode the funicular to the top, and the view of Paris was amazing!! We were told the inside wasn't as good as some we had already seen, so we didn't stand in the line that went around the building to get inside! But we did take pictures of the beautiful exterior!! We heard later we should have waited in line as the church was as pretty inside as out! Oh well, next time we'll know better!!

Amazing chapel to visit. I have never seen a more beautiful glass work than in the windows here. Definitely get tickets ahead of time. This chapel is one of the coolest places that I ever visited and I travel a lot.

This church, now an UNESCO World Heritage Site, was built by a French king to house the crown of thorns and pieces of the true cross - they spared no expense. The accessible portions of this site consist of a lower worship area and an upper area. For both of these I recommend the audio guide at least - there is symbolism everywhere and meaning in everything. You will miss it otherwise. The two areas are connected by a windy staircase that was made in the middle ages. When you enter the upper area it’s just an explosion of color that has to be experienced. Today we can but marvel at the craftsmanship of this world treasure. Truly amazing.

Beautiful tourist spot and a must-see. This was one of my favorite spots as a first time tourist. It felt like a nicer experience compared to a place like the Louvre because it wasn't as hectic or crazy. There were some people but not too many, and it was quiet inside the actual stained glass area.

Immense, vast, tall, grand and majestic. If you buy tickets in advance this does not mean you won't have to line up, be prepared to line up for at least 20mins. The cumbersome security process takes a while. Once you get past this, it's worth it. Be prepared to also climb a few plus some more stairs.

Very beautiful but very noisy, silence should be required according to everything in a small building and even a bedroom. Overall a nice visit even if there was a very large crowd and noise There are two spaces to see, the most beautiful of course being the one at the top which has wonderful stained glass windows and is truly exceptional. Not a particularly large church (if you walked quickly you'd be done in less than 5 minutes), but still worth a visit. One of the best examples of 13th century Gothic architecture in the world.

The Church is so beautiful. The interior is incredible. Worth it to visit when you are in Paris. We must not queue to enter the Church because already did an online reservation. So, better if you do a reservation before coming here. Sadly we were just doing a short visit because we still must visit other places.

Make sure to book tickets in advance. It's timed entry. I bought our 9:30 am tickets a month in advance. You can come and stand in line to buy tickets, but we got in our 9:30 am line at 8:45 am and there were already people standing in line to buy tickets, by the time we got in, none of those people were able to buy tickets. The person managing the lines is very strict about time stamps on the tickets. All that aside, WOW just WOW😍😍😍 Sainte-Chapelle is the most beautiful place I've seen😍 and we visited a lot of cathedrals in Europe. It's like being inside a jewel. It's breathtaking! You just want to study every piece of the stained windows. They have little information boards in different languages inside and a cute gift shop downstairs. And the bonus is that on the way out you walk through the Palace of Justice courtyard. (There was a separate line to visit Palace of Justice)

Small, but incredibly beautiful stained glass chapel. Don’t miss the informational cards in the chapel that not only explain the process of creating stained glass, but also explain the stories that the stained glass depicts. We went late in the day (5:30pm time slot) and it didn’t feel that crowded either.

We did not have tickets before we arrived but it went fairly quickly and we were in within 10 minutes. However, we arrived at opening so it might be different later in the day. The actual church was very busy and crowded - they had plaques to describe the windows but not enough for most people to have one. Still, it was stunningly beautiful and I must recommend going. There are stairs to see the windows so it is not overly accessible.

Small but exquisite chapel with the most amazing stained glass windows. Make sure to book at time slot in advance, avoid the weekend, go early in the day, the chapel is small so 30 minutes is all you need once you are in. It’s just one block from notre dame, easy to find with google maps but few signs. A great brief experiment as part of a walking tour of Paris. Great gift shop.

What a beautiful chapel. The intricacy of the stained glass windows was so stunning and really worth going. We visited the chapel via a concert in the evening, and it was just such a memorable experience. The chapel itself takes only 5 minutes to see but to come here during the Opera festival made such a huge difference in a positive way.

Ok well I wouldn't pay to enter the chapel because u can see all.of it in under 5 minutes and its contained in these photos. That said I entered on the free Sunday day and.it was absolutely worth it. Make sure u go to the first floor and don't stop with just the main entrance ground floor. The large panels of glass stained glass is on the next floor

Must see cathedral. Breathtaking stained glass windows. Go on a sunny day for the best experience. We purchased our tickets directly from the official website a week before for timed entry. We arrived 15 minutes before our entry time and waited in our time's line. We entered exactly at our asssigned time.

Since most areas are still under repair, I don't think there is a need to pay to go in and visit. So I only took photos outside. You can feel the majestic and great beauty from the outside.

This place is absolutely stunning and we were lucky to visit on a very sunny morning - which is very unusual for February. We got tickets at the official webpage of the Chapel and there were no general admissions tickets available so we got “guided tour in English” instead. Honestly this was the best decision ever - the guide was so knowledgeable and we learnt so much that I felt like people who are there on their own should be crying as they are missing out on so much! Highly recommend!

Beautiful chapel inside the royal palace. It was beautiful but very crowded. Since it was for royal use before, the church itself looks very extravagant but quite small. We finished checking it in like 30-45 mins (with taking pictures and reading stuff). I went in for free as it was the first Sunday of February

Probably one of the most beautiful place to visit in Paris. Walking up the stairs and then getting into the Chapel is just breathtaking. The colours of the windows are beautiful and relates the story from Genesis to the Apocalypse. With the Paris pass, you get free entry but you will have to pay a fee to get the audio guide. We were the last entry which meant that we got to have the chapel for ourselves as they were closing it down.

Nothing special, just a street with shops. It’s nice to see but there are so many streets with shops that are more interesting and pleasant than this one. Also the cafe’s and restaurants are overpriced and overrated.

At Christmas this place is crazy. Lots of people on the street, lots of shops open with nice things. A big selection of gifts and music on the street. Everything is so beautiful. I took one of the best times of the year to revisit this place again. It is so beautiful and memorable that you won't regret being here even if there's a lot of people.

One more must place to visit when you visit Paris for the first time. Located up on a hill, that gives you a very nice view of the city. Very touristic with plenty of choice to eat- drink or buy some souvenirs

Super nice place to see the view of the city in one glance. Loved the entire vibe, also very romantic place if you get to visit with a partner. I couldn’t get enough of the view. If only I would be there earlier in the day so i could visit the cathedral. Otherwise on the noon it’s really crowded

So busy!!!!! But the panoramic view was phenomenal. It was a hike to get up there… 300 steps. Good views. It is a few euros to go to the top, but worth it. WAY less crowded at the panoramic level.

The exterior and interior are very impressive. The view of Paris from a height of 130 m is especially wonderful. I advise you to climb the stairs, not the funicular. It's symbolic because that's where John Wick's final battle took place, if anyone watched the final part of "John Wick: Chapter 4"

It was within about a 30 minutes from our hotel.To be honest, I was afraid to walk on the street in that direction at first. The streets make me feel unsafe and they were really dirty and didn’t smell pleasant. However the road eventually led to a haven called Montmarte which was really good place to spend time.

What a beautiful village. I was told it's one of the oldest villages in Paris so we just had to go. Just walking through it's streets and having ice cream then visiting the Basilisque du Sacre Coeur was incredible (keep quiet inside out of respect to the church and those praying). The view from the top is awesome. Definite must visit

Nice and french vibe if it wasnt for all the tourists (us included, I know) :) Tourist trap on all restaurants - not very good cuisine. Nice place with small streets and a good view over Paris.

Vibrant, amazing little town at the top of the hill, with a huge Basílica (Sacre Coeur). The building is huge and amazing, yet once you get up there, the good part starts. Bohemian type town where artists, musicians used to live or work there, some renowned ones were Monet, Renoir, Picasso, van Gogh, among others. Streets are filled with nice small shops, where you can get portraits painted for you, many handmade, art/drawings. As you keep walking restaurants, start appearing, streets filled with tourists. A glass/cup of hot wine would fit very well if in low temperature season. You can also find street musicians playing for tips. We chose a restaurant in a corner, which ended up being an amazing option, which had a musical ambience (low volume international guitar, live music), great environment, good customer service (specially for tourists), food was good, nothing out of this world, but the rest made up much more for it. There is a cable car in case you want to avoid going up the stairs and you can get there via the train with a station nearby.

One of the places in Paris where you can easily spend an entire day is this magnificent church. The experience of climbing to the top is nothing short of excellent. They even have a convenient trolley-like transport to help you ascend. Of course, the highlight is the breathtaking view of Paris from the top. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in experiencing a spectacular panoramic view of Paris from above.

This is a beautiful church where you can sit and have a few moments of peace. One thing to note is that the lines can become pretty big (although the entry is free). It is better to come to this place well ahead of time. You can also get a vintage newspaper photo if you are lucky outside its premises.

Once home to Picasso and Dali, this is a charming village surrounded by arts craft and the sweet scent of coffee and pastry shops. The track up to the peak is capped by Montmartre Cathedral.

It was a sunny day in June when we came, it's not very crowded and we walked along the most beautiful streets at Montmartre leading to the way up. Atop you see at height the beautiful cityscape of Paris. The church is spectacular.

This was the last place we visited on our European trip last year. The first was Her Majesty's Theatre in London to see Phantom of the Opera, so ending our trip at the Paris Opera House seemed fitting. (I forgot to look for Box 5!🤦🏾‍♀️) It is so beautiful on the inside. I would love to come back and see an opera here one day.

Did the after hours 'mysteries' tour. Though there was nothing remotely mysterious about it, nor access to places not available during open hours, I found it enjoyable and informative. Guide was good and group not too big. The building itself is magnificent and kind of a must for Phantom of the Opera lovers!

What a magnificent building to visit! We enjoyed it even more than the Palace of Versailles. Although smaller, the decorative elements on the ceiling and walls exceeded our expectations. Every corner was adorned with the highest craftsmanship and finest European artisan techniques with lots of details, showcasing beautiful sculptures, paintings, and architecture that combined to present true European elegance!

A very beautiful building and well.worth a visit inside. Some of the paintings were amazing especially 2 rooms at the side one had lizards and the other had bats and they were so cool and unexpected. Very elegant place

This is one of the most beautiful places in Paris. If you come to Paris, this is a must see! This is definitely worth visiting. This is one of my wife's favourites place in Paris. From outside, the building is very fancy and beautiful, but when you get inside, it is another level, it’s magnificent. Also, the location is very accessible and very close to the Galeries Lafayette. The tour inside will take approximately 1 to 2 hours. Indeed, from the grand staircase, painting, chandeliers to the candelabras, everything make the atmosphere astonishing. Not to mention the theatre with the largest chandelier is absolutely worth your time to explore the Opera de Paris. I highly recommend!!!

This is by far one of the best experiences you can have in paris. Worth every penny!!! You can get tickets from 200-10€ (depending when you buy/where you sit). I would highly recommend going with family/friends/significant other.

This place is so vibrant and polished, I was thoroughly impressed. If you want to get shots and videos before people flood this place (they will) buy the ticket for the opening time and line up early. I wasn't a big fan of the opera auditorium itself but everything else in this place was amazing.

What a history and what an architecture. Highly recommend taking the audio guide and going through every detail, it will change your experience on the opera house. Very room, every detail is thought for and designed with according to that time. It gets packed so you will have to very patient when clicking pictures, add extra time for that. We spent 2.5 hours.

Definitely would put this place on the must visit list. It is so beautiful and grand. It's very busy and tons of people doing outfit changes and taking up space to take the perfect social media photo which could be annoying and funny at the same time. There's a bar in the beautiful hall where the balcony is and we had some champagne. Overall, amazing visit!

Spectacular building! What a great place to see an afternoon performance. Their are lifts between the floors and toilets on all floors. Not all the Cloakrooms were open when we went but the first one downstairs was available. We were on the third level and the view was perfect, the sound great, what a good experience

I did the after-hours tour, which takes you behind the scenes of the opera. The best time to attend as there is no one there, the tours are in small groups. I took the most amazing pictures with no one in it. The tours are guided in the language of your choice. Buy the ticket/s weeks in advance in order to get the date you desire. This is where Phantom of the Opera was inspired. You even get to visit inside balcony #5, a reference to the Phantom of the Opera book and play.

The opera building is really beautiful. I enjoyed the morning because there's not a lot of people. It's a pity that the main room was closed but it's worth walking through the corridors. I found the building and the decorations more beautiful than those in Versailles.

Our tour was somewhat spoilt by some sort of issue meaning we all had to evacuate the building! However, assuming this doesn’t happen regularly, the building is really extraordinary and well worth seeing. It fizzes and explodes with decoration. Glittering gilt and shimmering crystals cover every surface.

This iconic opera house is a must-see when visiting Paris. Its ornamental architecture and grandeur are breathtaking, with a gleaming interior that will leave you in awe. Its monumental size and beauty are a testament to the city's cultural history. A must-see for any traveler! But language is a barrier here, very few staff members understand or speak English

The opera building is stunning, both from the outside and inside. Before the performance or during breaks, you can explore and admire the architecture. It is advisable to book your tickets in advance online, and ensure punctuality, as latecomers may not be admitted until the next break. There are small bars offering snacks inside, but be prepared for long lines to them.

Absolutely STUNNING venue. Well worth admission and a beautiful experience overall. Even while busy you can see tour very easily and have moments of quiet to really take in the opulence. I did not do the guided tour and could get most everywhere available except the seating at ground floor. The women's bathrooms had limited stalls so they were quite busy, but clean. The gift shop also had a wonderful selection of books and things for people of all ages. I absolutely recommend this attractions, even if you don't get the tickets ahead of time you make it in with moderate wait times and attentive staff that make the experience, an Experience~

The most beautiful opera house I've ever seen. The entry way and theater are spectacular. Don't miss the ceiling in the theater. One of the rooms was similar to the hall of mirrors at Versaille. We bought our tickets the day before online and had no problems finding a time.

We came on a Thursday and instead of paying 15 euro there was a 5 euro discount for some reason so we only paid 10 euro inside at the ticket machine. When we entered around 10am there was a good amount of people there already. The interior is just gorgeous. We spent a good 1.5 hours inside. So much to look at and so much detail. Not sure why but the main theatre didn’t open up until 11am.

There are no words to describe the opulence of this building. Just a lovely place. What a history and what an architecture. Magical experience. It’s a great place to check out that’s a little taste of the beautiful and ornate French architecture without having to leave the main part of the city and go out. Definitely would put this place on the must visit list.

Really loved the guided tour! It was very informative and entertaining. Lasting about 1.5 hours, it was never boring; we were also allowed inside. We had the English tour. Although it was really busy at the time at the building, thanks to the tour, we were able to see the entire building and learn a lot about its history. I recommend reserving tickets via the website! At the entrance waiting for the guided tour to start there is no toilet, that was the only downside.

This is a must-see tour in my book. The level of detail that went into the design for this opera house is astoundingly impressive! And this is all despite the fact that we couldn’t even see the stage/theater space because Giselle was in rehearsals. The tour of the rest of the opera house is beyond worth it and even better; my husband and I have seen an opera here but our teens, who we brought to Paris for the first time in this trip, hadn’t. One of the fun highlights was getting to see the opera box that is referenced in Phantom of the Opera and learning that the space just outside that box is also depicted in the animated film ANASTASIA. But my fave part was the great hall (not sure if that’s the correct name) with its small rooms entering and leaving (the sunset room was super cool).

We couldn't book in advance as tickets sold out. So we queued up from 9am. The people with tickets entered at 10am and once they had gone in then we were allowed in. Wasn't to crowded even with a couple of coach trip visitors and some schools on a visit. We had a good visit. If you don't have a ticket don't be put off visiting.

A beautiful bridge built in the 1800s. The bridge has heavily decorated lamp posts on both sides and the entire bridge has touches of gold to its structure. This makes the bridge very majestically appealing. You will get a beautiful glimpse of the Seine river and a decent view of the Eiffel Tower.

Very beautifully bridge! The statues and gold accents made it look and feel majestic. The walk across was very easy, since it's not a very long bridge. I only wish it had been sunny for even better pictures.

A very delicately decorated bridge full of history. I heard it’s even better to visit here during a sunny day. Anyway, the night view is already stunning.

Stunning bridge with beautiful lampposts down either side. Great views over the river siene and a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. This is a great photo spot.

Wide bridge over the Seine that if crosses moving south heads towards the Eiffel Tower, and if north, Champs Elysees. The bridge is decorated with numerous statues and is in my opinion the most impressive bridge in all of Paris.

A other must see tourist attraction in Paris. Such a beautiful and ornate bridge along with great views and photo opportunities of the Eiffel tower. Take a short walk from the Grand or Petite Palais. You won't regret it.
