The beautiful and picturesque old town is a must visit when in Frankfurt! Amazing half-timbered buildings that were once completely destroyed by Allied powers’ bombings during WWII, now rebuilt to their full glory! Drink your coffee or beer in one of the numerous cafes and beer houses on the square, admire the architecture, take photos and travel back in time with your imagination! 100% recommended!

It's one of the best if not the best town squares I've ever visited in Germany. A lot of cafés around to sit around and enjoy the old town square in it's full glory. If you want to avoid the crowd, visit it early in the morning to click a beautiful panorama.

Definitely one of the spot to visit. So lucky to bump into the Christmas market in the area. Plenty of food and beverage at the market and the environment is lively. Easy access by public transport, walking distance to other nearby tourist spot and shopping district.
Suuuuper cute little city center, unfortunately most areas were blocked off since they were setting up for a Christmas market opening the day after we left the city. Still was able to see a lot, just not many clean pictures.
Its nice - the only thing to see in frankfurt really, although none of it’s original of course - the entire city burnt down during the war. I guess that’s why there’s about 5 tourists in the entire city. Anyways, if you are visiting there’s like 1 tourist shop and a few cafes to outside in. Great place to visit in Frankfurt. Pretty much everything you see it’s a reconstruction, as the original buildings were destroyed during WWII.
Stunning historical structures, main square of Frankfurt and city hall. It was too crowded when I visited there but you can take a tourist picture in front of the buildings, buy magnets etc.from souvenir shops and also grab a beer and walk the streets or lots of authentic cafes to stop by. There are also another charming old buildings like old opera and frankfurt cathedral nearby. It was such a great spot!

The many cafes are decent and one of them is my local friends’ favorite - they held their last three big one there - today we celebrated at their home with a dozen of close friends.

The wonderful old architecture of the railway station🤩 During the pick time is a bit more crowded but that's everywhere. The navigation signs are still very easily visible and understandable.
There is a plenty of different connections across the city near surrounding and far distance connections.

This is the main station of Frankfurt. The ground floor has the platforms for all the long distance trains and the underground has access to the S-bahn and U-bahn
The station itself has a facilities such as paid WC, food and beverage shops and seating areas. But the area just outside the station is a bit dingy and shady with a lot of littering and loitering
This station is the backbone of the transportation system in frankfurt as you can get Trams, metro, national and international trains from this place, but still it's not crowded as we see in many places, sometimes it's a bit confusing but one can manage if they check the details properly.
Moreover sunset view is amazing from this station.
It’s the main train station of Frankfurt where you can get train to most of the European countries. I took direct train to Linz, Austria. Although it’s a huge and crowded station but there is no proper waiting area that facilitate you during the cold weather. Tram and bus stops are available near the train station.
It is a beautiful train station with its own architectural features.There are many convenient services in the train station, such as DB information desk, bakery selling German specialty breads, fast food restaurants, mini-markets, etc.
But the sanitary condition, not particularly clean and hygienic. There are a lot of pigeons in this train station, resulting in a lot of bird poop, and there are some homeless vagrants.
Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof is the bustling main train station of Frankfurt. Very busy at times. There are many food kiosks and other services available. Unfortunately there are some transient/homeless people who wander through the station, asking for money. The immediate area outside the hauptbahnhof is also a little sketchy, with some open drug dealing, but it's not unsafe. Deutsche Bahn runs a very efficient service, trains run very much on time.
This is the central station of Frankfurt, Frankfurt bhanhaf. Many food outlets are there. You can get Sanacks in 2 euro. We have pizza in 3 Euro. Mac D, burger King is also there. Very clean station. For oneday city pass you have to pay 5.35 Euro and for airport transfer 5.20 Euro.
The main reason I choose Frankfurt Haputbahnhof as the starting point for my personal travel is that there are quite a variety of public transportation tools that can easily to use from day to mid-night. No matter what time it is, the crowd is obviously everywhere inside or outside this station. There is also a paid toilet on the underground floor here and a variety of restaurants are also quite sufficient for traveler's basic requirement. I hope to have the other opportunity again to take different long-distance trains here in the future.
The train station is very large and busy with lots of services to different areas. It is very busy and crowded all the time. You can also transfer to U-Baun and S-Baun inside the train station too. Furthermore, there are a lot of cafes and restaurants so that you can find your desired dishes easily
Very busy train platform, but easy to locate the appropriate train based on all the signage and platform updates. There's plenty of food shops, places to sit and wait. They have luggage storage for anyone looking to leave over the day while walking the city. Wasn't many people to ask for help when trying to find something specific.
The train station is HUGE. Lots of places to eat or drink inside.
It was not easy to find help, and finding the proper train and seats was very difficult as first timers. Our train was probably 3 or 4 hours late, easily. So weird.

Liked the architecture of the station. It's very huge and gorgeous. It's a typical terminus station where the railroads end in the station, so you can just walk to the end of the platform and move to another one without using the bridge. There are fast-food restaurants and convenience stores in the station.
The train station is beautiful! It has a historical charm that reminds me of Harry Potter heading to Platform 9¾. However, I must admit that the train system can be quite complicated, especially for non-German speakers or tourists in general. The costumer service desk is not very helpful, the workers have an attitude and are not willing to help. I accidentally boarded the wrong train and ended up receiving an 80 euro fine from one of the train ticket officials. It would be great if they could be more helpful and friendly towards tourists, offering guidance and assistance when needed.
Large and efficient station, as one would expect from Germany. Trains that connect all over Germany and the rest of Europe including Amsterdam, Vienna and Basel.
Tram and metro also connect to the station. Lots of electronic and physical signs so it's impossible to get the wrong train.
Tons of cafe and sandwiches type places available as well as a few sit down restaurants and the usual junk fast food.

This has to be the most used train station in Europe for me. I lived here for two years in the 80s; I love train so much that I make my trips around it - it was great when German DB was reliable and dependable.

This station although heavily used, but I don't think it has a supermarket ... foods / coffee bars are plentiful. Some under ground tunnels feels icky. Many buses and subways merge here (duh)
A nice train station with a beautiful architecture. The main train station in Frankfurt with connections to almost all major cities across Germany and Europe. Signs are very well labeled making it a bit easy to navigate your way to the right platform, especially if you don’t speak German. There are many shops and restaurants to keep you busy as you wait for your train. There are also numerous public benches if you just want to chill and not spend a dime. It wasn’t that busy when I visited but a bit rush. Pretty sure it gets chaotic during rush hours. Good thing is they have service desks where you can visit any time and an attendant will help you find your way.

Toilets are all mostly clean and only costs a small charge to enter.There is a plenty of different connections across the city near surrounding and far distance connections.You can also transfer to U-Bahn and S-Bahn inside the train station too.Avoid the pedophiles and drug dealers, the pick pockets and we can see them at the Entrance and please avoid looking them.

Wonderful restaurant with delicious, creative food at the top of a highrise in downtown Frankfurt. Everything served was individually prepared with the utmost attention to detail. The knowledgeable staff explained every dish chef prepared with complete understanding. The wine pairings complemented and completed every dish. Just when we thought we were done, a wonderful assortment of petite four arrived to finish our delicious meal. The only issue is there is no parking on site, but a parking garage is a couple blocks down the street.
We wanted to have some drinks on a Thursday’s evening. When we arrive, they told us with 2 doses you need to have a test. So we went outside to do test waiting 20 minutes outside for our results to enter the restaurant. When we came second time with our results, they told us we should have a reservation. We called and then the security told us we should order 30 euro per person minimum.
So we went away…
Seems they didn’t want us, like their guests.
PS two stars just for Corona safety checks, otherwise one star.

I would give more than 5 stars if i could do. Everything is perfect. Very good service. Beautiful view. Amazing creative food. Very delicious. We reserved a table for 3 course dinner for our wedding anniversary last year and this year. The price is quiet expensive. But worth it. We want to go for fantastic dinner here to celebrate our wedding anniversary every year.
Since I live in Frankfurt (which is about 3 years) I've always wished to experience this amazing Panorama Restaurant, highlight of the city. I had luck, as I called only 10min before my arrival to book a table, and had luck to receive one (normally one needs to book days earlier, and sometimes weeks).
Needless to say I was amazed with the beautiful panorama and the simple, yet sophisticated interior of the restaurant.
Food was absolutely delicious. Some of the ingredients were complete new to me (as I usually stick to me personally known recepies).
Every course was presented in details by the competent and very polite and professional waiter.
Special thanks to the waiter Mr. Wilhelm (I hope I rememmber correctly) who made our experienced so pleasant.
With regards to the price, I would not say it is expensive. The price suits the overall sensation (the spectacular view and meals) + location.

After revamping their menu and concept the food is even better than it used to be, whereas it was once excellent now it's phenomenal. It's an experience in itself to be served by the professional team, many special thanks to Mr. Willi.
Excellent lunch and excellent service. Prix Fixe menu with either two or three courses and two choices at each course. I did the three courses with a wine pairing with each course. Fabulous views at every table. Restaurant is on 53rd floor. Allow 5-10 minutes wait for security screening and elevator which is also taking tourists to 55th floor observation deck. They pay 7.50 each for that. No charge if going to restaurant.
Very nice restaurant and bar, friendly staff and ambiance. I i came here after finishing the main tower top floor. Drinks are of reasonable price and the seatings allow you to enjoy the view of the city from up high. I did not eat anything so cannot comment on the quality of the food, however where given truffle infused popcorn as a side to my beer and it tastes amazing.
Food was mostly good - appetizers and cocktails were very good, main courses were mediocre, desserts were many different things that were good but did nothing for each other.
The service was both patronizing and charming. It was obvious the waitress thought we are not sophisticated enough for the restaurant because we didn't have a reservation and were not dressed. We found it mostly amusing, as the food was very old fashioned as in strong 80s influences in the presentation and mix of overpowering flavors. For example, the lobster bisque was more of a fish bouillon with strong saffron presence. It was good - but it has been a long time since I ate something like that.
The lamb main dish was excellent; the veal was very boring, both the meat and the baked pasta that accompanied it. The sweetbread that made me order it was hardly noticeable. Fish was ok, no more and no less.
The view compensates for almost everything and it was pleasant and fun. If you are willing to spend at least €80 per person before drinks you can do much worse.

Gothic architecture at its finest, I couldn’t get enough of any view of Frankfurt that includes this amazing cathedral! The interior is not as impressive, but still beautiful. In the entrance you ‘ll also read about the church and old town during WWII, so interesting. I don’t know if any visits up the tower are permitted, but I ‘ll love to climb up there next time I’m in Frankfurt!

Beautiful architecture inside and out. You can enter the church for free, recommended donation if you want to light a candle. If you want to climb the steps to the top, there’s a freestanding ticket booth outside the church on the side closest to the river (opposite side from the church entrance). Once you pay, there’s a small wooden door to the spiral steps and you’re in your way to an incredible view 300+ steps above the ground.
Know that it’s a narrow spiral stone staircase most of the time. The outer wall has a metal handrail and the inner wall has a rope handrail that is pulled taut (close enough to the stone that my mom broke her nail on the stone wall while clutching it for dear life lol). Some sections have small windows and/or lights near the ceiling but the steps are still rather dark in most places so I used my phone’s flashlight the entire climb so we didn’t miss a step. If you come across other people going in the other direction, someone will have to stop because it is extremely narrow. At the top you can walk the perimeter of the tower. There’s fencing and I felt safe even with high winds, stone benches built into the tower, and small trash bins at the top. Happy climbing!
Make the most of your layover by taking an Uber to the old part of town and visiting this spectacular cathedral. Buy a ticket for a couple of euros and go up the tower for a 360 view of the city. (Believe me, if I can do it, you can definitely climb those many many stairs up to the very top) After the climb, it’s time to enter the cathedral. I found it to be the perfect blend of clean lines of the building which highlight the sculptures. Found the atmosphere inside to be peaceful and serene. Don’t miss the hidden chapel behind the quiet room. The small museum in the building is also worth a visit.
I thought that this was a reconstruction but it’s actually the real Cathedral of Frankfurt. It was spared during the WWII bombing.
From the outside seems impressive, but once you get inside you will realize it’s actually smaller than you thought.

An oldest Catholic Church in the center of the City Frankfurt. With a beautiful architecture so spacious and good ventilation. The Cathedral is the only building that survived from bombing attack in the second world War. The statues and the station of the cross and all the interior of the church is very beautiful. So refreshing and spiritually refreshing. A place worth visiting.

An extraordinary cathedral . I believe made entirely of pink sandstone. Very elegant and even majestic decorations and look to this cathedral! Not to be missed if you are visiting old Frankfurt.

If you are looking for a fantastic view of Frankfurt, make sure to visit the spire of the cathedral. It is quite a walk up there, but it is worth the effort. However, you won't be able to go to the very top.
If you want to get that special view, you need to book a tour into the roof. On this tour they also take you to the very top of the spire where you will find a little museum and a view that very few people have seen. You will also get to see the Gloriana, the bell of the cathedral. With 11.950 kg it is a heavy-weight and you might even be allowed to hit it once (As I was allowed.)
The tour is incredible, but it is only offered a few times a year and you have to book a long time in advance. Ask at the ticket counter.
Not the most beautiful or impressive cathedral in Europe, but well worth a visit. It certainly has one of the more interesting organs around, with the organ pipes being all-over. It is good that the dome is very regularly used for its intended cause, which however means that tourists need to time their visit well if they just want to have a look, without participating in a church service.
Amazing cathedral. There was a baptism going on when I was there. The organ was playing. How beautiful! I felt at peace inside. The sounds and the sites were glorious.
An absolute must if in Frankfurt. The architecture is truly amazing and will leave you open mouthed in awe. It's busy but you can still find a quiet place of contemplation and prayer.
There are numerous beautiful alters, shrines, artworks and more. And the intricate ceilings are fantastic.
It's really easy to find as it towers above old town. So you can't really miss it. Free entry for the main building.
The viewpoint allows you to see the whole city and provides some truly astonishing views. It's only 3 euros to access but be warned there are hundreds of narrow stairs with and it's very difficult to cross paths with someone.
I did not visit all the way inside. It requires ticket and need to purchase in advance (recommended) if you plan to spend 2-3 hours during your visit. I visited front entrance place and seemed good.
We were at the New Old Town and saw this cathedral from afar and it beckoned us so we made our way to it.
The red stone looks really amazing in the light. We climbed up to the tower, all 350 steps. The way up can be quite narrow at some parts and can get rather claustrophobic. But, the view upstairs is beautiful andworth the climb!
Very interesting cathedral. You can walk all the way up and get the 360 view. There are many stairs, it seems endless like my efforts to have a successful gambling session. But eventually the pain and stairs end as I hope for my losing streak.
Absolutely amazing cathedral near the East side of the old town, you can see this amazing architecture from a few distance. No problem to get inside, however, may be dependant on time - there some areas tourists are not allowed in, so be wary.
Beautiful architectural and religious piece of art. Important to know that this site was the location where German kings used to be crowned. A large part of this cathedral and all surroundings was rebuilt after massive destruction during WW II, so I understand that not much of it remains in original state.

If you're an art enthusiast and love artworks from the high renaissance era, then this place is for you. At the basement, it's a vast space for contemporary art. You can stay there the whole day and enjoy all the paintings. It's a pretty relaxing place. You won't get bored going around. 👌👌👌
Two logistics points: 1) There’s a great deal in the form of a 21 euro ticket, good for 30+ museums and two days. If it fits your schedule, it’s a great deal. Ask at the ticket desk to see the museums included. I bought the 16 euro single-day single-museum ticket and only then learned about the 21 euro version. Too late to exchange, as I was told.
2) The self service lockers will are big enough for most backpacks and jackets, though not suitcases (use the manned coat room right next to the lockers, also for free). Some lockers take only 1 euro coins, some take either 1 or 2 euro coins. You get the coin back when you unlock and leave.

It's a great museum. Very complete and has some beautiful pieces. It would be nice if they made the android audioguide for the Renoir exhibit available on android or through html5 on their website.
I have absolutely no talent in Art or know how to appreciate it but visited Stadel Museum as it was supposed to house works from the very best artists. I wandered around the building and was thoroughly impressed with the gorgeous building and also the large variety of beautiful works (of different categories) kept in pristine condition! Just amazing….
A very nice place with a huge art collection. Recommended for any art lover, with very detailed descriptions of the painting and the artist's life when creating works that go far into the past to the present day. The ticket price is 18 euros.
Stadel Museum in Frankfurt is a must for art and design enthusiasts. The interior is gorgeous and creates a perfect flow through the art pieces. From classical to contemporary, the selection is fantastic. I spent four hours there without realizing it. Highly recommended.
Amazing collection. anything ranging from religious art from the Renaissance to modern art. A lot of context and explanation about the art pieces are given, in German and in English. The building itself is pretty impressive. A must-see if you're in Frankfurt.

One of the best museums we ever visited, particularly because of the well written explanations provided next to the paintings. These were really special compared to other museums and provided valuable information to understand the painting, the story behind it and the background of the painter.
Additionally, there's a free audioguide app (covering some of the most important works) with additional detail.
Many of the great classic painters have pieces here. Enjoyed walking through but some rooms were so stifling hot that it was hard to want to stop and take in the art.

A wonderful art museum. The collection is not too big, but it's magnificent (there are works by Picasso, Monet, Renoir, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Degas and so many more)! Add to that fact that it's not overcrowded, so you can take your time in admiring the work of arts spanning 7 centuries with leisure. I would say for sure a must-visit place in Frankfurt if you love art!
712/23: The museum was pleasant. It had many famous 🎨 🖼 artists' paintings as well as painters 🎨 I did not know. Pretty artwork. From the 1300s onward. It was worth a visit.
Went to the Stadel Museum for our last day in Frankfurt. Was this museum worth the €18 entry fee, possibly not, however it did have a decent number of works including works by Picasso, Vermeer, Pissarro, Cezanne, Renoir, Degas, Bacon, Warhol etc albiet mainly one work from each artist. The museum layout appeared somewhat all over the place and so it got confusing which rooms we had been in and which ones were hadnt. Museum staff were friendly and helpful and the museum and grounds were very clean. A visit to this museum is recommended if you feel like escaping the chaos which is the city and feel like a relaxing day.
All parts of the museum is a definite visit. If you have a day to spare definitely come here. There is a variation of different types of art and it really is impressive. From Matisse to Pablo Picasso, this museum has everything.
A beautiful art museum with over 700 years of artwork. There were many seats throughout the museum with books to look through with even more art. Tuesdays offer a discounted rate for tickets.
Very helpful staff. Normal price for an entrance fee to a museum like this one. Well maintained and just enough to see that it isn't too long you're dying and want to leave or too short that you feel it was a waste. Just right.
The staff there were kind and welcoming. The museum's cleanliness was also quite commendable. Every exhibit and gallery was immaculately maintained, which added to the overall charm of the place.
Moderately well stocked with paintings and sculptures from old masters to modern. It's a pleasant round half a mile walk, and across the river from the main drag (Willy Brandt Platz).
We spent the morning looking at the special Northern Renaissance exhibition, featuring Holbein (mainly the Older).
Good amenities and lifts for me to get around. We spent some time (and money) in the bookshop, where we also had nice coffee and cake.

Absolutely stunning botanical garden with a large collection of plant and flower species that is a “must see” in Frankfurt!
visited the garden in the middle of the sunny Wednesday afternoon, and it was quite busy as there was a line for ticketing. However, it did not feel crowded once inside the gardens or the glasshouses. They had a storyboard in front of the gate to keep guests informed what is currently open and what is closed - nice touch!
Firstly, we visited the glass houses, where each section was represented by a different climate – tropical, dry, continental, savanna, arctic and many more. What I personally really enjoyed was the fact I was able to see and find plants of all the fruit I enjoy eating such as banana, avocado, mango, papaya, pineapple and also plants of well-known spices such as muscat nut, vanilla, cardamom. Benches for relaxation were located in the sections of the glasshouses.
Another spectacular place to visit was the “butterfly” house (open only at certain periods of the year) where we could observe dozens of butterfly species and learn about their life. Must visit place was the large Palmenhaus which basically took us to the middle of the tropical forest.
In the large premises of the garden, we found many different sections of plants and flowers, such as peonies garden, bamboo forest, rhododendron garden (when we visited in mid of April, rhododendrons were not yet blooming) or succulent rock garden – all spectacular places worth visiting.
We were amazed by the huge size of the gardens, and there were still sections we hadn't visited during our 4 hours walk! Maps were located quite frequently so it was easy to navigate through, however some explanations and descriptions of the plants were available only in German. Couple of small snack bars were located in the gardens, nothing fancy, just drinks, ice cream and fresh waffles. It seems easy to come here with a blanket and a good book to have a “lazy” afternoon.
Definitely worth spending 7 EUR as entrance fee! Visited in the middle of April 2022.

Worth the visit. 3 cafes but only 1 open. Boutique is small but lady is friendly. Takes card payments for transactions above €20, otherwise a €0.50 charge.
Its a beautiful place, loved the diversity of plants. Well maintained must go of you are a nature lover, you would love the walk through this whole place. They have specific sections for different regions on planet and they are climate controlled inside.
It's a big garden, and I highly recommend a visit. You can see different types of plants, from those in dry desert conditions to ones in humid jungles, all in one place. It's interesting to see how they take care of these plants. They offer student discounts too.
Nice diversion in Frankfurt.
Beautiful park and nice plants. We went on a cool Saturday, 7€ entrance fee. The grounds were very nice, flowers blooming everywhere. Has several indoor spaces, greenhouses and other environments for the multitude of plants. Many beautiful butterflies in the butterfly house. It would be nice to return in a few weeks when the roses are blooming.
We were here in April,but I think it's would be even better to visit it in May, when all the trees will bloom. Anyway, great place to spend the whole day with your family or friends. Don't forget to take some snacks and drinks. You can relax on the beachbeds surrounding by the trees there.
It is a lovely botanical garden near the Frankfurt city center. You can take underground train and walk few minutes and you will be there. You can spend hours there. There are several planetarium. Inside you will find beautiful plants and seats to rest and take it all in. There is a natural history museum nearby also. Keep in mind some museums are closed on Mondays and or Tuesdays.
It’s a surprise and bonus to our 1 month Europe trip.
We landed in Frankfurt, as a succulent lover, I always visit botanical gardens especially the ones with a good collection of succulents and cacti.
This is abundantly and breath holding visit.
Both the indoor and outdoor succulents and cactus, they also have some greenhouses not open to visitors, but you can definitely see the the glasses.

Of course their other gardens are also very well presented, love the carnivores collection. The palm one is so so.

Absolutely beautiful, even in the rain. They have a huge assortment of non native trees and plants in their outdoor and indoor spaces. There are at least ten different greenhouses to explore and the ambiance is peaceful and serene ☘️🌵
Really beautiful garden with many different plants and attractions. Just the right amount of information but great detail. We spent hours there and always discovered something new. Quite cheap considering everything that they offer there. Friendly staff also answered your questions. Highly recommendable :)
Beautiful, scenic and informative is how you can best describe the gardens. Amazing place to go with the kids and spend the day. There are washrooms on site and they have a small shop for water and snacks. Would recommend packing a small picnic and having it by the Stone-head statue or next to the lake. There are nice restaurants here as well.
It's the perfect place in Frankfurt for anyone who wants to spend their weekends. The park is really well maintained and there are varieties of food and drinks one can enjoy . Occasionally there are live bands performing in the open space also. Had a great time there .

Really fun experience and tour of the Frankfurt palm gardens. There is an entry fee to get in, which can we bought in advance or on the spot - depending on the time of day, the line shouldn't be too long. The gardens are pretty vast, so it won't appear too packed. There's so many different things to see inside - plants, shrubs, trees, insects - both indoors and outdoors.
I went for an event about the plants and process of how tea is made. It was only available in German which I don't speak but with using my translator I was able to get the gist of what was being said. The gardens themselves were beautiful and many of the signs had English translation
The garden stays open quite late but be sure to give yourself plenty of time to explore as it is a fairly large property with many rooms. They have orchids for sale during specific hours and the staff was very friendly. I didn't have time to check out everything but there is apparently a restaurant, mini putt and a play area...there are also many bathrooms throughout. A great place and a very reasonable entrance fee

Flowers are starting to bloom as it’s spring season and they look absolutely beautiful 😍. So I can definitely recommend during blooming season!
Had a great visit for about an hour on a chilly Saturday November afternoon. The garden is close to transit and accessible. Many of the indoor / outdoor attractions are great and well worth the entry fee. My least favourite was the Palm House which I think can be skipped at together. There was very little colour there, mostly green and upkeep seemed to be an issue.
This place was so beautiful! I will definitely come back, there is so much to see that in 3 hours we didn’t manage! So many different plants and species and you can take really great photos. I guess in spring has to be the best time of the year for a visit at the PalmenGarten.
There is also a nice cafe and the possibility to rent little boats 🛶 powered by foot.
We loved the whole experience, but the greatest was to come across with the Cocoa Tree, Palm Oil white & red exhibitions, The major Tee ceremonies in the world, The orchids, and the beautiful buildings themselves!

Must to be visited if you're in Frankfurt, especially with the children. Zoo itself mostly looks like a big park. If would be better to do it during the sunny days, son you fully enjoy your visit.
Again, labels and boards with explanation of the animals, insects, reptiles on German only.
Try to get a face mask on you before entering or get the one it at the main entrance - mandatory when visiting "apes world" - otherwise precise Germans will remind you about it every 3rd step while inside.
I visited Zoo Frankfurt with my 2 1/2 year old son. We enjoyed seeing the nice variety of animals and the facilities were fairly clean. We were able to find ample parking at a nearby parking garage. Unlike several of the zoos we have been to, most of the exhibits were hard for our 2 1/2 year old son to see on his own. The viewing glass was often too high for him and I would have to hold him. Also the glass in most of the exhibits were hard to see through.These were the only two downsides to the zoo and other than that, we enjoyed our time there.
Lovely place for a day trip / excursion. There aren't many food options so it's better to bring snacks. But there are so many animals and it's not too busy during the day. There are also lovely activities for kids. Definitely recommend!
Very nice zoo to visit especially with kids, saw my favorite animal the rhino. But some animals are missing one early day visit is enough to see the whole zoo. And don't miss the midget goat farm where you can pet the goats
AWFUL ZOO!!! If anyone likes or loves animals - you shouldn't visit. In my opinion, it's ANIMAL ABUSE. The animals are in the worst conditions I've ever seen: small cages, not enough greenery if at all!!!! The monkeys are sitting on the concrete floor in a tiny cage, the rhinoceros' bones are seen through it's skin, he was so skinny. The food that was given to the monkeys was wheat. In order to be healthy, monkeys have to eat fruit and veggies. I am a person that loves animals, and I wanted to cry. I think animal rights organization has to be involved.
5 stars despite no lions and one house temporarily closed. The rest of the zoo made up for it. Good sized enclosures. Healthy animals. Fascinating aquarium. Seeing penguins from under water a special experience.

What an amazing zoo! My teenage son and I spent 4 hours exploring the zoo and enjoyed it. We arrived right at opening time on a Saturday and it was not too busy. There are so many areas to walk and there is a playground for the kids as well!
10/10 would recommend visiting and spending a few hours there.
The gift shop and snack stands are great and reasonably priced. Tickets can be purchased online or in person.

Amazing to see a zoo maintained in the middle of such a busy City. Had reasonably good collection of animals. But the cages are built to provide closer to natural ambiance for the animals that in several cages the animals are probably inside their resting area that they are not visible for visitors. From the animals point of view it is good for them that they are not disturbed too much. But from visitors point of view it might be disappointment that we could not see some of them. Also the water in the reservoirs are not that clean. Though it was really good some thing was not giving me full satisfaction to give a 4 or 5 start. This is probably the first time I see a zoo having ants, fly, several varieties of rates and bats. Highlights are Penguins, apes and reptiles house.

A really great place to go with the kids and spend a nice morning! The option to rent "push trolleys" for the kids was amazing, and very affordable at €5. There were a lot of different animals to explore, it's great for adults and kids. Maybe because of the time of the year, there were a few places closed for renovations. Also, too bad there's no café or restaurant, the only option for food is a fast food truck with sausages and chips. We were really surprised there were no English translations of anything, not even a map with some more information. Overall a great place to visit right in the middle of the city.
A beautiful and well-kept zoo near the heart of Frankfurt. The staff was amazing and friendly, interacting in both German and English (and likely other languages). The animals are well cared for and it shows! Definitely recommended if you have a few hours in Frankfurt!
It was a nice zoo! I went during winter so I didn't expect all the animals to be out, but there were definitely a lot of really good exhibits and a lot of animals that you can still see. It only costs about 12€.
The zoo is a nice place to hang. Better by tickets online or wait in queue at the door. Nice ambiant, atmosphere, good food and the map is a must

This bridge has gorgeous views of the river and the buildings that line each side of the river. There's also restaurants and bars on either side of the bridge that are only a short walk away from the entrance. It's pretty cold walking across the bridge in the winter, so I would recommend to wear warm clothing and definitely bring some gloves!

This second oldest famous Eiserner Steg or Iron Bridge connects old town to the district of Sachsenhausen above Main river . It was built in 1868, but was destroyed in World War II. It was rebuilt in 1946 and renovated in 1993. One can get get beautiful view from the bridge. It's very picturesque. The lovers put a lock on the bridge and throw the key in river. All the river cruise start from below the bridge. Worth seeing...
Love the vibe of the entire riverside! The bridge gives a beautiful view of the river Main and the city around. There are benches and clean grass on both sides of the river, a perfect place to hangout with family and friends.
The love lock bridge has to be one of the most romantic spots after sunset here in Frankfurt - though I have read how such tons and tons of locks being placed on bridges around the world actually pose a real risk to the bridge. What’s more interesting is the sight of the city from both sides of the bridge and the cruises on river Rhine - a sight to behold to round up the tour in Frankfurt.
If you wanna see the famous Iron Bridge a taping Location of Queen of tears 💘 please head to Frankfurt am Main and the view was stunning and of course you can ride to a cruise ferry for a short trip if you want.

The Iron bridge is a must visit for anyone who visits Frankfurt. It is the oldest bridge in Frankfurt and c onnects Frankfurt to the Sachsenhausen area of Frankfurt. An important piece of Frankfurt history. From the bridge one can get panoramic views of the Frankfurt skyline and also amazing pictures with the Frankfurt skyline in the background. Under the bridge flows the Main river and after crossing the bridge one can enjoy a relaxing time at the river Main shore.
Whenever we have guests, we take them to the Römer/Dom in Frankfurt AM then to the Eiserneg Steg or Iron Footbridge on the River Main. This bridge gives you a view to some ofvthe skyscrapers in Frankfurt. Then at the other side of the river, we have snacks on one of the two restaurants offering lovely views to the city.

Amazing display of dinosaurs from tiny tributes to T-Rex. In addition of the main attraction, there is also a floor dedicated to stuffed animals. Visitors of all ages would enjoy this museum.
You can lavishly spend around 2-3 hours here. A good expo of ice age fossils, gemstones and other exhibits.
Opens daily from 9am to 5pm. Ticket prices are around 12€ for adults and children under 17 can visit for 6€ with valid ID.
It is a great museum for everyone who likes prehistoric creatures and wants to know more about Earth early life evolution.
Amazing place! My family and I went here during winter season and there was a locker room to place your coats so you don't have to carry it around. There are many different exhibitions and they are all very interesting. We spent about 3+ hours here. The exhibitions are also interactive and very informative! There is also a bistro here that serves delicious food. Definitely recommend coming here if you are in Frankfurt!
Fun for adults and children, just don't wear warm clothes because most of the museum rooms don't have air conditioning. It is probably because of the wide array of fossils and models they have so no complaints there. 😃

One of the best places that I have ever been. It is awesome and it really takes time to see all of it, there is about three floors with a lot of different rooms that you can see skeletons, fossils, stones, stuffed animals and a lot more. The quality and quantity is both a lot and I really enjoyed it. I suggest going there and visiting all of the rooms so you don’t miss anything.
Nice museum, near to the city center, reachable with public transport. Very nice for children also.

A very exciting place, especially for families with children. The museum is full of visuals with information that isn't too over the top. There are plenty of displays and specimens to take in and learn about.
All information is in German, but there are some displays with information in English.
It can get very packed on weekends. But otherwise it is an experience to experience while in Frankfurt.
Wonderful wonderful place. Went at noon on a weekday and it wasn’t too crowded. Lockers are available for a small deposits. Hundreds of exhibits like fossils, taxidermy, insects, birds, mammals, ocean life and geology. 3 levels in total and spent slightly more than 3 hrs there. There’s also a cafe and a souvenir shop.
One of those few attractions that are open on Mondays. Worth a visit. Entrance fee is 12 euros. A lot to see. For example Meet the Reef -special exhibition is interesting and well presented. Some exhibitions are also in English, but unfortunately not all. There is a nice bistro in the museum. The museum shop was closed at the time (in January 2023).

An evening event took place - in a very attractive location ie. Senckenberg Naturmuseum - as a part of Europe's top hematology hybrid Congress which was held in #Frankfurt 🇩🇪 from June 8-11, 2023. Congress featured a comprehensive program that encompasses all areas of hematology and allowed for networking with global experts. I was glad to be supporting EHA Team to make News stand out in media reports.
It is museum of various living things including dinosaur. You can enjoy whole day just look around exhibitions. I think child living near this place is lucky.

I just visited the Senckenberg Nature Museum and wow, what a place! The dinosaur skeletons are a major highlight – they're huge and so impressive. It's not every day you see something like that up close.
Besides being fun, it's also really educational. I learned loads about earth's history and wildlife. The information is easy to understand, so you leave feeling smarter than when you arrived.
The whole place is spacious, clean, and well laid out. Navigating through the exhibits was a breeze. Plus, the staff are friendly and seem to really know their stuff.
Getting there was easy; If you're in Frankfurt and looking for something interesting to do, the Senckenberg Museum is definitely worth a visit. Loved every bit of it!
The museum has many objects to see. On the ground floor, you can see fossils of dinosaurs, reptiles, etc. On the first floor, you can see very large variety of mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and birds. On the second floor, there are insects, dioramas, coral reefs, and something abt deep sea.
The museum is not that busy on weekday, so I can take my time and enjoy it (eventhough I only spent around 2,5 hours in this museum).
Overall, it's a very recommended place to visit.

Must watch at Frankfurt. For nature enthusiasts and archeological students there's lot to learn. Vast collection of fossils, stuffed and models of endangered and extinct species of all kinds of living beings are displayed in a systematic way. Only drawback is that a very few displays have English description, or else we should have a German translator.

Really enjoyed it. It was the best museum I’ve visited in Frankfurt. Goethe’s house is nicely arranged and you can enjoy the entire place. You also have an online guide that is free which provides sufficient information to understand what you are seeing. The Deutsches-Romantik Museum is there as well and the ticket includes visits to both.
A must if you come to Frankfurt.

Museum has many works across various mediums available, and an incredible array of first person writings, such as letters and manuscripts. Several items get into personal relationships among the various artists and give a fuller portrait of them as individuals.
Wow! What a spectacular museum. The beautifully restored Goethe House combined with the modern interactive design of the galleries is amazing. Even if you're not a Goethe fan it's a brilliant representation of the citys history. A must visit!
Beautiful and small historical house which hosted Goethe for a few years. It is common to assume it has been the main house but in reality there can be a couple of them. So it is worth a visit without too much expectation.
The Goethe House is a writer's house museum in the Innenstadt district of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is a birthplace of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Staff is super friendly and house is beautifull. We even get a chance to hear live music it was amazing.
Everything inside is impressive and furniture is amazing also. Great to visit here and being able to feel like old times and where Goethe got his first inspirations. The garden and the furniture are well preserved, I like the kitchen and the sealed topfloor stairs. Each room is unique with different paper walls and a heating system which makes you feel the family had a warm cozy house. The sets of tea service just 👌🏻🌟

It's a really interesting place. All of the explanations about every house's room makes you understand a bit more about the artist. The texts regarding the paintings in the romantic museum could have been larger, but were, as the house, enriching.

If you are on holiday in Frankfurt, of course you have to visit Goethe House. Goethe, whose name is also famous in Indonesia, makes me want to know him more deeply. When entering Goethe's house, there is guidance in nine languages, and it explains every room in Goethe's house. What a fun experience!
If you're interested in Goethe and his life, visiting this house can be fascinating for you. At the entrance, there are papers in several languages providing historical details and information about the house's different floors. My suggestion is to add explanations directly on the house objects, in addition to these guide papers, or at least write the room names on their doors to avoid confusion. There were some paintings on the wall with no information provided either on the guide paper or directly on them.
Had a good experience visiting Goethe museum. There is a possibility to pick up a card with descriptions of rooms and an interactive screen at the entrance, where you can learn the house history.
One hour will be more, than enough there.
P.S. The house itself was ruined during WW2, so don’t expect authenticity. But still it’s nice to see how the house looked at that time.

It’s stall after stall of discovery, from freshly baked breads to antipasto,it’s fun to see what’s around the corner. I would highly recommend the Tsironas stall. Arancini and hot focaccia sandwiches and all the antipasto bites… it’s great to grab a small bite or a massive bite whichever you want. The spinach pita - the filo wrap lends a light crunch to the creamy spinach filling, yum!
The Pinocchio cheese shop just off the stairs smells amazing… olives, cheeses, salami… you would wish you had saved room to taste them all.

Located at the heart of Frankfurt city centre. It takes about 15 minutes from Frankfurt Central Station to here. Actually the size of the market is not "small". You can find different varieties of food like German, Italian, Middle East or Asian food. There are also nice restaurants on the 2nd floor. If you like authentic and nice gourmet food, you must not miss this great place!

This market was very interesting. There are fresh, cooked and fermented food being sold here. Some sellers are great and friendly and some downright rude.
I loved going to the stall that sells olives, it had a really wide range of olives and I wish I could try them all, but I didn't because I knew i wasn't gonna buy olive home to Sg so I did not want to take advantage of the sellers' generous offer.
Lots of small eateries located at the perimeter of the market hall. On the 2nd level, there are a few cafes selling food which looked and smelled really good. But I had a late breakfast so couldn't try anything there.
Overall, Kleinmarkthalle is vibrant and interesting.
It has so many shops of small vendors. Offers great variety of spices, pulses and fresh veggies. Lot of Indian spices, herbs and grocery stuff can be found here.
Definitely reccomend stopping by here for lunch or tapas, if your in the Frankfurt area. It's basically an indoor food market with restaurants upstairs, along with some cafes.

A nicely designed mall, in a busy neighborhood. Full of various shops and restaurants to chose from. It was quite clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas season.
We’ve tried a restaurant called “Big chefs” and I could say their food was delicious and freshly made. I enjoyed the experience and the stunning view from the top!
It’s an iconic place, if you like stunning architecture and modern design this is your mall to visit, it’s a must visit when you’re in Frankfurt city, perfect pictures + shopping, movie and great food 🏙️

A well furnished and decorated shopping center situated at the main Hauptwache street. The stairs are designed in such a way that attracts customers to visit inside and look around even if they have no intension of shopping something.
Good shopping mall, has many of the American stores, also Mango, Berska, Guess, Abercrombie and Fitch, and many more.
Has restaurants and upscale brands. The unique style of the mall is modern, like an Illusion museum.

This mall had a very interesting build. Futuristic but easy to navigate. I really like the escalator that bypasses all floors and take you straight to the food court which has a variety of different cuisines.
First time visited here. Plenty of seating area around to sit and relax. Lots of famous brands and food places to make this mall really happening. Lots of people visiting even during Christmas and new year holidays.
Beautiful shopping center in a beautiful area, nice variety of shops inside although it felt like it is all high end stuff.
There is a market in the lower floor, and a smoking balcony in the 4th floor.
To use the bathroom you have to pay 0.5 euro.
Modern architecture galleria with many popular shops and restaurants. Convenient as everything is there especially if it’s raining and really cold outside. Gallerias are good for that and it is right next to the Christmas market. Although it’s is annoying to have to pay to use the toilets. Coming from the US, that is really strange.

There were lots of food options and a good location as the German markets were right outside. Great picture opportunities, as you can see from my photos attached. One of the coolest, biggest and most beautiful festivals I saw!
Museumsufer is a tree laned avenue by the river and on the Museum Street. You can cycle, skateboard, jog by the river or just sit by the river and take in the view of the old city on the opposite bank.
It catered for English speakers and had a lot of interesting items on display. We loved the dinosaurs as well as the apes
Absolutely loved this experience. Museumsufer is not just one museum but it's a street with different museums on it. Each museum has a lot to offer. Weekends it's free but not sure if all of them are free on the weekends. Definitely a worthwhile trip to take if you're ever in Frankfurt

Stadium is amazing and the facilities are also good. On an event day: reach early via cab or S8/S9 Bahn from Konstablerwache/Zeil Bahnhof. Food and drinks will cost you 5€ and above. Leaving the stadium is catastrophic, as the queues are maddening for cabs and public transport. Consider walking and by no means bring your own car. Best overnight stays: Airport hotels.
It was a nice light show, along with stories presented using projectors and lights. There were plenty of opportunity to take pictures and videos. The food stalls variety could have been more diverse.
I purchased my tickets online and they gave instructions on how to get there. It was completely wrong. Our slot time to reach there was 1730 and we ended up getting there an hour late. The walking from S-Bahn was over 40 minutes. Their were several people looking for the Christmas market. Due to the lack of signs and information about how to reach there so much unnecessary time was consumed.
Great stadium, i have never been in such a big one. The waiting line for the events were long, We went to see monster jam and it was amazing.
You could get drinks and food in multiple places in the stadium and there were also people who sold food or drinks in between the seating area for more convenience.
Baby strollers are not allowed inside. You have to carry cash with you, because it costs 2 euros to leave them outside in a safe area.
Fun time seeing KC Chiefs play Miami Dolphins! Wish the seats folded up in the rows so that it would be easier to move past people. Overall good stadium. My view from end zone was good. Nice to have it covered to protect from the cold breeze.
It is a modern stadium with a truly unique bright basketball table in the center of the court. I have visited many stadiums in Europe and I rate this as very remarkable. What needs a lot of improvement is the surrounding area with the mud !!!
You will absolutely enjoy your time if you are visiting during the time of Christmas Garden setup. It is a beautiful place and a fun event for one evening. The light setup are really beautiful you will enjoy walking the trail lit up with beautiful lighted figure of angel, snowman biscuit, Santa.

Ik was hier voor een concert van Depeche Mode. Alles was goed geregeld en ik stond in het voorste vak dus had ook goed zicht. Het geluid was inder, het galmt. Zoals de meeste stadions. Er was een zeil boven het midden gespannen, zodat we gegarandeerd droogbleven maar daardoor was het wel warm in de arena. Gelukkig was er wel airco, maar drinken halen kon ik. Iet meer zonder mijn plekje kwijt te raken, dat was jammer. Voor het concert kwam er af en toe een jongen langs met drankjes, maar nadat de hoofdact was begonnen, niet meer.
Na het concert had ik moeite de tramhalte terug te vinden, ik kwam aan een andere kant naar buiten gekomen. Uiteindelijk heb ik de meute maar gevolgd tot aan het treinstation en vandaar weer een trein terug naar het centrum genomen. Er werden voldoende treinen ingezet.

I was here for a Depeche Mode concert. Everything was well organized and I was in the front section so I also had a good view. The sound was softer, it reverberates. Like most stadiums. Went here for a Harry Styles concert great Stadium very well organized in terms of signs and direction. It is a long walk but manageable. Washrooms get full fast and there are huge line ups. However the place is pretty secured and security everywhere.
A pretty good modern(ish) stadium with some great views from the upper tier and a fantastic atmosphere. The gates to get into the stadium are chaotic with long lines but it moves fairly quickly. With an S- bahn Station close by and tram stops then getting to/from the stadium is also very good, although there are large crowds.
Good train connection from main station. Close to station . 5-6 minutes walking distance.
We've been there for a Depeche Mode concert (amazing 2h20).
The way to the concert with S-Bahn S5/S9 direcion towards airport, stop at "Station", was easy-peasy. But if you have a ticket for the field, you'll have to walk half way around the 🏟. Well, there are food, drinks and promotion booths - and "honeybuckets" (ToiToi/Dixi).
We were quite worried 😟 how to get away with 65.000 people at almost the same time. BUT, IT WAS PERFECTLY ORGANIZED! ❣️
There were 2 long trains 🚆 going every few minutes and a regional express in addition. Awesome 👌 👏
Went here for Guns n Roses.
The facilities are really good, lots of food trucks all around the perimeter with a huge choice of food. Windows everywhere near the stairs to your seats selling drinks and small snacks.
This means you are never far from what you need and never a long queue. People were leaving their seats and coming back in 2 minutes with a beer or bretzel.
Lots of toilets everywhere, mens are fast but of course the classic long queue for the ladies.
Prices for food and drink are more than normal of course but still cheaper than I would pay in UK.
I used the Waldparkplatz and got on the 4th row, it cost 10 Euro. As I was fast after the concert I was soon in my car and could escape the car park with no queue.

Although tickets are very tough to get, but if you get in, you will love the atmosphere.
Although, Alliance Arena of Munich is bigger & extravagant.
Good place. Huge stadion with big capacity. The outside area was closed as it was NFL game not sure how it is during normal footbal games. Entrances were not crowded. There are many steps to cover when sitting on too. Big screen in the middle makes the smallest deails on the field visible also for you. Even thou the stadion has roof it is open structure and not very warm inside. Toiletts were clean, functional and not much queue. Food was tasty bit pricier but that was expected. Everywhere you can pay by card. Highly recommend.
It's a good park. You sit very close to the field.
It's very clean and getting in is easy.
Getting home on the other hand is a challenge
1) There is not enough taxis, and waiting in line for one turned chaotic as it turned into a free for all.
I did make it back to my hotel after an adventure.
Great place to visit. Atmosphere is amazing, you can get beer and sausage at every corner. I highly recommend this stadium.
My first time here was stressful. I had to work around a lot to find where I was supposed to be for this friendly game between Germany and the Netherlands. However, the game was nice. I discovered the drink called Apler 😄. Attached is a map of the stadium. It shows how to navigate for example to where the parking lots are.
Looks like there isn't a bad seat in the house and the retractable "umbrella" roof is really cool. However, the rest of the stadium seems pretty dated. Small concourses, not enough bathrooms or concessions, no cup holders, very narrow aisles, etc. Reminded me of an NFL stadium from the 80s.
Our visit was for Oktoberfest 2 weeks ago. It was held in a giant tent in Frankfurt with long picnic tables. Both of our dinners were very disappointing, so I'd suggest eating something before arrival. On the upside, the servers were super busy but very good. The band was lively, enthusiastic, and played well-known songs, including American tunes. You can't beat the atmosphere. And just like you see in films, many were beautifully dressed up in traditional German clothes and some were dancing on the tables!
Ahh.. we went there for the Patriots v Colts NFL game. About 40k+ capacity. The stadium was accessible and had everything necessary for a great atmosphere.
