Panoramic tower on the city of Dusseldorf, opens at 10 am and until 11 am the cost of the ticket is 6€, after 11 it becomes 12€. you can visit the observation deck inside which there is a very nice bar, with tables and seats. Above the observation deck there is a restaurant.

Incredible tower, so high and huge. The area there is amazing too, next to the Rhine river. There is a nice walking area around where you can see the tower from all directions. You can enter the tower and enjoy the city view for 10 €, you can check the ticket prices on the website.

The Rhine tower is an absolutely breathtaking structure, by the banks of the Rhine river. The evening hours are the peak times for visitors, it is recommended to book the tickets online. We got the tickets in the reception for €10 per adult. The elevator is very quick and takes you to the first level, where the in-house cafe and viewing area is located. The level above hosts a restaurant, which is again recommended to be reserved prior. An amazing experience overall, I must say!

Highly recommend! This was definitely worth it. For a very low price I got to see amazing vistas of the entire city. I’ve been on many towers, and this one is clearly one of the best due to its position, surroundings and low admission fee. The photos speak for themselves!! It’s definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in Dusseldorf, you will not regret it!

Overall nice TV Tower with a not bad view. However there's really not too much other value added to it, hence the 10 euro ticket doesn't feel like a super great deal. The middle level has some okay-ish snacks and drinks, but the upper level only opens in the night. So if you are visiting during the day, not much else you could do honestly.

A great location overlooking the Dusseldorf and the river Rhine. It houses a fantastic Japanese style restaurant on the top floor which revolves so during the course of you dinner constantly get different views of the skyline and the river. Great food and very friendly staff.

It’s a popular tourist attraction. Went there during the recent Museum Night. Waited almost 50 minutes. The elevator was fast and smooth. The 360 degrees bird’s eyes view from the top was amazing. If the waiting line was not that long, I could have caught the sunset.

Breathtaking view. €11+ to go up into a super hot tower, they need to install an AC here! ( They presumably do this so you buy expensive drinks at the top of the tower to cool you down. ) It was 10° outside, I wore a t-shirt, and I was still sweating there! Food is quite expensive as well. The view is good.

This was quite a experience and worth it! You can park near the tower, a parking garage across the street for just 2 euro. The entry was not expensive, 10 euro per person or so. Acces to only 1 level and you have a look around the city for 360°. You can freely walk around and if you want lunch or take a drink, also toilets available. We watched the view for a 30min to 1 hours. Just go, even when you are afraid of heights!

There are plenty of benches to sit on and relax, as well as various restaurants and cafes nearby to grab a bite to eat. It's a perfect spot for a romantic walk or a casual hangout with friends. A really good collection of old, vintage cars as well as newer models. I really liked the mix of repair shops and restaurants and simulators, like a combination of all things in one place. The layout is a bit less interesting though but the cars do make up for it.

Best indoor car-show I've been too in a while, just walk around and marvel at the collection. Most of these cars are for actual sale and the brokerages as well as finance is on site too. Or just come for the excellent restaurant. Free admittance!

For us car enthusiasts, there are several Meccas. One of them is in Düsseldorf. You have to go to the outskirts of the city, where an old remise awaits, leaving our mouths wide open, jaw-dropping, gasping for air, saying that such a thing doesn't exist, and yet it does… This place is a warehouse, service center, car shop, museum, exhibition hall, and car dealership all at once, and there's even a restaurant. Among numerous unique, fast, and expensive cars. Proud owners store and sell their automotive wonders here, which anyone can come and see, walk around, and even touch if they wish. These are no ordinary cars; here, a Mercedes 300 SL stands alongside a BMW M1, next to the 100-piece limited edition Aston Martin Vanquish S, you'll find the carbon version of the Ford GT, of which maybe two dozen exist, but there's also the Alfa 8C Spider, limited to just 50 units. The masterpiece known as Mercedes Pagoda, a rare sight at home, stands here with two side by side, while the GT and the Lamborghini Diablo peacefully await their fate next to the F8 Spider Ferrari. This was everything I could imagine. I had a good time over 100 cars in this Remise. Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Alpha Romeo, Ford etc. New, old and classic luxury cars but also classic regular cars. A nice FREE car show in Düsseldorf. If you have the possibility definitely check this place out.

There isnt admission fee. It's a place that feels more like an exhibition than a museum. It's a place with a nice atmosphere where classic cars are repaired, sold and exhibited. There are also cafes and restaurants inside.

It was a spectacular venue with high value cars. Being free and this authentic made us have a great time and enjoy each piece of art at its finest. As a car lover I would definitely go again.

Major part of the day can be spent here. Houses a cafe inside the premises, though nothing extraordinary to eat there.

Definitely a place to visit for people who love cars. They have a lot of different cars, old and new. I like how they make the place have 2 functions… as a showroom for people wanting to buy exotic cars and basically also a museum in a way as a lot of cars here are not produced anymore these days. The place is definitely well maintained and clean which makes walking around just comfortable.

If you are into cars 🚗 😎..... this is the place to go and enjoy. Located in a former locomotives 🚂 station it now hosts special cars from the vintage racers to the highly styled cars. You can take your time walking around and taking pics of your favourite cars and if you are tempted .... some have price tags as you can just take them home. The place can be easily accessed. Free parking.... free entrance & a food place to entice you to stay and endulge ....

The whole park behind the castle is prettier than the castle itself. If you really want to see the castle from the inside then it’s fine, but I don’t recommend buying the other ticket where you can enter only the two castles from left and right. Now in May/June is the prettiest time to go and visit it, especially when it’s sunny🌞

Just amazing. We are not German and I found it on Google Maps, we don’t regret visiting this place. I recommend it. It’s inside a beautiful park, the inside is amazing and beautiful. Inside the park you will find a pound with geese and Ducks. Everything is cute. You can take the Rheinbahn at the Düsseldorf Central (U76 and then U72). You are gonna spend 30 minutes or so going there but I think it’s not a lot.

Beautiful place with nice green area around it. We did not go inside the palace, thus do not know if it is worth it, but having a walk in the park was very nice. Do not miss the small flower place next to the entrance. There is also a free parking inside the area, with special places for senior people. But parking can be easily found around. One small pity is that there is no cafe on the territory to enjoy some warm drinks.

From the outside, the castle looks somewhat dated, especially on a gray February afternoon. However, inside it is quite beautiful. The ticket to the castle also grants access to the two other museums on the premises. The park is freely accessible and offers nice walking trails.

Lovely castle with extensive gardens and green spaces. Only seen the gardens at this point but will definitely get back in the area to see more. The forested area makes you feel like you're far away from the city.

The castle looks nice, but the inside does not worth the entry fee unless you love sliding on marble floors with gigantic slippers that they give you so you don't scratch the floor. The gardens which are free are very nice, a bit simple, but very enjoyable.

The castle was small, I wouldn’t called it castle… more like a big mansion. A lot of the room got blocked off, we weren’t allowed to go upstairs. You have to get a tour guide to take you to upstairs. After all… it was okay.

A pretty pink palace along with a garden full of beautiful flowers. Very calm and quiet place to spend time. Trams are available frequently.

The outside seems small and quaint with its pink paint, but the interior is filled with aristocratic decorum. The historic rooms are superbly preserved due to their strict policies. Exhibits are in German and English. The ticket office is located inside the gift shop, not in the actual palace, which can be confusing. The staff were friendly, and the outside gardens were also worth a visit.

Fairy tale castle with rokoko style. Pinky beautiful castle but inside it is empty. There is no life in the castle. Nature museum was also full with stuffed animals nothing more. Great gardens.

I have visited this area over the last couple of years, and it always has a pleasant atmosphere, with bright neon 'ferris wheel' and stands selling Gluhwein (Hot Mulled Wine). This year, for some reason, it was very quiet and probably better to visit late November when the Christmas markets are fully open.

Very nice place to hang out with your loved ones. You can picnic, children can play in the play area. We saw deer and wild boars. The place is huge, we couldn't finish in one day. Looking forward to visiting many times.

It is one of the oldest wildlife parks in Germany and only shows native animal species. A more than 200-year-old beech forest is located around the free-roaming areas and enclosures for the animals. Good maintenance!

The wild park is located near the Wald and the entrance is free. People visit mostly with their families and kids. There are a variety of animals in the park and you can feed them. Also there are seats and tables for eating. Nice place, full of peace . ♥️

I had such a wonderful time there! This is the place where you can spot a lot of wild animals and even feed a deer from your hands! You can bring some vegetables with you but there’s also machines where it’s possible to buy a cup of food pellets for just 1€. The entrance is free, all the paths are wheelchair accessible. There’s a lot of places for rest, a few children playgrounds and a public bathroom.

Wald Wildpark in Grafenberg offers a refreshing escape for families in Düsseldorf and the region, Lots of paths, majestic animals, provides good infrastructure for an outside lunch too. The deers are very well used to humans allowing visitors to connect with the nature! Ideal for families and nature enthusiasts.

My 5 years old son enjoyed so much feeding deers...very nice experience...little difficult to reach but worth it...touching and feeding wild animal is such a dream for kids

My 3 year old loves going there! Mom loves not spending a dime on tickets :) They have stags, pigs, deer ect. You can bring your own apples or carrots (or buy feed there) to feed the animals. There is a big playground with picnic benches in the middle that is fun for kids to break it up the excitement. Can spend a couple hours to an afternoon there.

It was a nice experience, it was less crowdy between 2-5 on weekend. The narrow road from main bus/tram stop is a bit rough for prams, and its a slight steep. Only the deer are without barricades and it was so fun to see them being cuddled by everyone. My baby had a real fun experience. They grain kind of food available there was not so welcoming by the animals. They loved apples and carrots but make sure they are cut. I thought they would eat the whole like cows do but they ditched the carrots and apples I offered..lol.. No entry fees, no cafe (at least I didn't see any) or anything such around except ice cream truck. Washroom is available I guess.

Please note you will need €1 coins to buy food! You can bring your own vegetables and fruit for the animals, but I can assure you that none of the animals like carrots. Many people brought carrots, but the deer refused to eat the carrots but liked fresh apples and the food pellets from the €1 food dispenser. This is a great place to see deer up close. The other animals (racoons, squirrels, foxes, wild pigs) seem to hide a lot. And it's free to enter the park!

Very nice city park, divided in two parts, with ponds and lots and lots of geese, ducks, swans (of various kinds, incredible, not only for the black swans). Many nice features as bridges and such, also beautiful at night is the avenue with light-benches

Hofgarten Park offers a fantastic experience. The park is ideal for walking and running, with well-maintained paths. It's a peaceful oasis in the city, providing a serene atmosphere to unwind. The greenery and ambiance make it a perfect escape for relaxation and outdoor activities. A true urban gem.

Our hotel was right next to the park, which we crossed many times when going to the city centre. It's a nice walk within the trees, and we even saw a few squirrels here and there. I don't know if the park is safe at night, but during the day it was great, even in winter. Also there's a small playground and sandbox for kids. It's a nice place for all ages.

My favourite park in Düsseldorf. So much to see, be it lovely fluffy rabbits or famous sculpture by Vadim Sidur, austere diagonal alley leading to Schloss Jagerhof or a modest Heinrich heine memorial, I love it in all seasons.

Just take some time to walk through this park, have some time and take this moment. It is a very nice place to sit down, enjoy, talk and feel the nature within the busy city Düsseldorf. You can easily walk to the Ko, Koningsallee and the river.

A very nice and cozy garden in the centre of Düsseldorf. You can take a sheet and have a picnic with friends and family or just take a walk or running nearby with fresh air and good environment. Swans can be seen in the lake and they are very beautiful. Many shopping centre, cafes and restaurants are also nearby and you can try some of them. A garden worth some free and relaxed time for you!

Very nice Düsseldorf Park with a fairly substantial lake. Lots of wild bird life including black as well as white swans, geese, and three herons!

At the beginning of the 19th century the church had become too small to meet the needs of the parish, but expansion was postponed several times due to internal disagreements within the parish and other obstacles, while minor works such as the purchase of new altars and an organ were undertaken. Starting in 1886, three proposals for the new church were submitted, but these were rejected by the parish until the designs by the young Cologne architect Erasmus Schüller were accepted with minor changes on January 12, 1887. The old church was demolished in April 1888. and construction of the new one began on September 2 of the same year. Schüller died in 1890 at the age of 29, so that the last construction phases were supervised by the architect Theodor Roß [de]. The church was consecrated on July 9, 1891 by the Archbishop of Cologne. The church was badly damaged by artillery fire in February 1945 during World War II. Repair work began the following year and was completed in 1949. The bells had been sent to Hamburg at the beginning of the war and were returned to the church in 1947. The church was added to the list of monuments in Erkelenz on May 14, 1985 due to its architectural and symbolic value. Desecration and demolition Demolished on January 9, 2018 Replacement church in Immerath-Neu The village of Immerath was on the planned route for the expansion of the Garzweiler surface mine, a large brown coal mine operated by the RWE company. The entire village was therefore demolished in the 2010s, with the company building a new settlement called Immerath-Neu 11 km away to replace it. The cemetery was also relocated, corpses were exhumed and moved to the new location. Maintaining the cost of the church had become too burdensome given the significant decline in the number of believers to fewer than 60 people. The parishioners therefore accepted the company's offer to build a new, smaller church in the new town of Immerath-Neu. Most of the interior furnishings of the old church were bought by private individuals or other parishes or religious communities. The last mass in the church was celebrated on October 13, 2013 and then desecrated. The building was demolished on January 9, 2018 amid protests by Greenpeace activists.

Since it’s the oldest standing building on Düsseldorf, I had to make a trip to visit to t . Unfortunately, it was barred closed at time of visit. Impressive architecture from the outside, at least.

A nice old church. Located at the oldest part of Dusseldorf, it is very close the Rhein river. It is very elegant and old. Very unfortunate that I didn't go inside. There are some other sculpture on the area going there though.

Great church, a beautiful twisted roof on the tower and a few stunning mural paintings from the 15th century. Also a lovely Madonna with Child from 1100.

It was not busy when I visited, which I really liked. A very nice atmosphere. Not the most impressive Basilica I've visited but it was pretty and well kept.

A nice historical place with simple signs to explain the history of the ruins. It sits right next to the river and it is relaxing to stroll and walk when the weather is good.

A beautiful walk on the riverside, next to the Kaiserpfalz ruins. Then walking on the pebbles' beach alongside the Rhine. A memorable walk even on a cold and wet winter day.

Great place just a bit north of Düsseldorf along side river. Trails for cycling and walking. Beer garden and cafe restaurant for refreshments. Stroll along river or just relax. Great place to be on weekend with family and friends. The ruins of castle is interesting as well.

Nice historic place to visit. Here you can get some information about this place in german & english. You can get a nice view of the river, and can also take a nice walk alongside the river. There are some nice cafes nearby. Kasierwerth town is at walking distance from this place.

This is a wonderful historical place in Dusseldorf. The area is very well preserved and completely immersed in nature. The building is in a park by the Rhine. I recommend it for traveling with your family.

Interesting place to visit with some fascinating history. You should combine this with a bike ride or a walk along the river. Also if you go to the museum you can see how the castle and town used to be, so well worth heading there after the castle.

Seems like a very nice place to explore, unfortunately it was closed and no information about the closing had been said on the reviews. But will definitely re-visit it again. Will recommend people to go a couple of months before 31st October as that's what it says on the board.

Former castle/palace that was demolished during a siege back in the 18th century. Not much of it remains, but the panels are quite informative in both German and English. It can also offer a great view of the Rhine River.

Perfect for a short visit out of Düsseldorf the remains of the palace is quite nice with a beer garden nearby the place closes at 18:00 so make sure you visit before this time. The wiesse flotte runs a boat service direct from the Altstadt in Düsseldorf

Constructed between 1570 / 1573 it's the most beautiful building in Dusseldorf, a stunning backdrop to the beautiful square. Easy to locate on Marktplatz, most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area.

Beautiful place and awesome Christmas market. Its a fun day to just walk around here and snack at different stands selling tasty things. Also if you want some handmade stuff its a good place to find it.

This place is really nice and there are lots of things to see. I don't think 2 hours is sufficient especially when you have kids with you either way I enjoyed the views and will definitely visit some day again to complete my site seeing.

Great zoo/museum. A big diversity of animals, education corners and small exhibitions. However extremely crowded on Weekends and hard to enjoy due to loudness/kids/crowd. Recommend going under the week if you want a leisurely call stroll through it. Got in seamlessly with the Düsseldorf Citycard but you have to queue nonetheless. If you dont want to queue for a ticket, buy it in advance online.

It’s a good place to spend a couple of hours at. In my experience is not a crowded place. I went there with the Düsseldorf tourist city ticket (which is 10€ for 24h) and didn’t have to pay for anything in the entrance. I loved that there’s so many species of animals.

Online pre order recommended! Even tho it was a weekday (around 1pm), it was full with alot of families and so we had to wait at every window to see what's inside. Dunno what would be the best time to be able to enjoy it..

Great place for families and kids of all ages. There is something for everyone. I visited with my granddaughter a few years ago and we both loved it. She was very engaged with all the zoo had to offer. It was a great day. As soon as we got outside it began to snow. What a perfect ending for the day.

A very cool aquarium to visit! It is well maintained and clean. Usually the place is crowded during holidays so one can opt for online tickets. You can avail a student discount on your ticket from the cash counter. It is definitely worth visiting with your kids. It will take around 2-3 hours to completely see this aquarium so plan accordingly.

Went there during the night of museums, the line was extremely long and we waited about an hour. However the museum itself was pretty cool, I loved to see the fish and learn about different sea animals. Not so sure about the penguins whether they have the most exciting life. They also had a backstage tour which was really informative.

It was a really awesome visit. I really liked it and it has various species of different bugs, reptiles, fishes and much more. You don’t need to buy tickets online even on the weekends. Also it is in Nord park that is a great place to visit

A great place to visit, was in the holidays and weather was poor so a lot of people had same idea, too many within the museum so couldn’t really enjoy the aquarium sections, any other time though I expect would have been much more enjoyable, need translation tech or a translator if don’t speak German as no foreign signage on exhibits other than Deutsch

Been there a couple of times, as good for a day out when the weather is wet and cold. Still not impressed that none of the information boards includes English translation. As far as I remember, you can rent an English audio, which isn’t very ideal when you’re with kids.

Much bigger than we expected! Well worth a visit. If you don't speak German, pick up an English leaflet at the info desk on the way in and buy the audio guide for €3 (plus you have to leave ID as a deposit). The audio guide gives you some key info and details on some of the creatures. There are lockers for €1 returnable coin, toilets by the entrance but no cafe. With the audio tour we were there over 3 hours (2 adults).

I love it here <3 Great mix between museum and aquarium! Awesome place for everyone big or small ^^ Personnel was very nice and answered questions and overall great to talk to! Easy to reach by subway and car. You can easily spend three hours there!! They have lockers and are barrier free! The space itself is on 2 floors but the have lifts and wheelchair lifts so you can reach every area.

Very informational, animals were in healthy conditions and had clean tanks. Had a nice green house for their tropical plants and animals. At the end there was a walk through museum of old scuba findings and deep sea fish.

Museum is very easy to find and it is easy to get there with public transportation. Very nice nature around the museum and a lot to see inside. We expected only aqua species but there are a lot of various species. The only downside is lack of english translations on the museum labels.

We came here on a rainy cold day and it was the best choice that could be. Aquarium + museum which offers a lot of information throughout history. So many beautiful creatures that would leave you in awe! Love it here! There are many parking space in front of the museum and a small kiosk outside which offers food (sausage, currywurst, French fries, etc) and drinks.

This place is amazing!!! I found myself saying 'wow' so much! The natural history story of the evolution of life on Earth is so well told through all the different displays, taking you from the primordial soup through corals and jellyfish to mammals. You feel like you're walking through history. The different exhibits are so interesting and beautiful. Others have commented on the lack of English signage, but this is a German museum! The English audio guide is really well done and informative, and well worth the €3. I can't recommend this place enough. Loved it!

Never experienced such crowds in a zoo! Luckily, we had bought the ticket online and didn't have to queue outside to enter. All text was in German except for the names of the animals. Nonetheless, it was amazing seeing the different lives and environments under water.

It was a nice day trip to break up time at the airport. The only issue was it was so crowded that myself or little kids couldn't get a chance to see anything and we got pushed around. It should be time slotted to to avoid this issue. Also online booking helped get you in faster.

Great place in the heart of Dusseldorf and next to Rhein. Lot of space to walk around, play, stroll. Children and adults can have fun as they want. Flower gardens are amazing and maintained very well. Next to U station and a large parking. AquaZoo is a great addition to the park.

A beautiful classic park with a japanese area where you can enjoy rich cherry blossoms in spring. Around the japanese garden young people of the manga scene are gathering. At the entry way of the park you also find the fully renovated "Aquazoo" that is worth a visit for kids and adults alike.

It is a very beautiful park! There are areas of different themes, a lot of flowers and interesting trees! And you can also visit the Aquazoo, which is located right there (very interesting place).

A quiet and beautiful garden where you can spend more than an hour. There is a children's playground. There is a Japanese garden. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the aquarium. Parking is available and parking costs 2€ per hour

It was wonderful. Perfect for gatherings or even spending some quality time alone. There is one restaurant and they accept only cash. 2 parks are there with swings, slides, seesaw. The tram station is right at the gate. We saw so many rabbits out in the fields. Kids can have lot of fun.

I had an amazing experience at Nord Park Dusseldorf. The park is massive in size and boasts a beautiful design. It's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dusseldorf!

Nice enough but uninspiring park North of Düsseldorf town centre. The highlight unquestionably is the Japanese Garden which is lovely. Also a pair of gigantic statues at the entrance are very impressive. The park also houses an aquarium which we didn't visit.
