It has the wow effect. Lovely man made lake for rowing competition. Lots of activity on either side of the lake. One side, artificial ski slope and the other side- water park/ slide. There are also ‘beach’ type place where you can play beach volleyball and football. Not for swimming or u can swim but at your own peril…….

Great place for jogging , cycling, walking you pets or just simply outdoor walking . One of the biggest Man made lakes in Poznan. The water sport competitions are kept here. The area of the biggest Malta mall, Ski resort , and The Poznan Zoo. In winter they let it dry out , for cleaning purpose i guess.

Amazing park not so far from the city centre. It is so enormous that you can easily find a quiet space to sit and rest. I recommend taking a look at the exhibition on the way to the Umberto restaurant.

Such a well kept and lovely park. There are lots of interesting statues dotted around the park and there is also a military museum located in the grounds. Well worth a trip, for a few hours of your time. We were lucky enough to see red squirrels on our visit, which we loved.

Last week in Poznan, spring is in the air and Cytadela is greening up. Great for long and short walks, main alleys and mistery trails, history dips and nature watching. Not to mention a coffee break in Umberto.

Lovely big park with plenty of paths for all to enjoy whether walking dog ,with family/friends or excercising(running or cycling).There are several places with small coffee trucks too and the main building(though not sure what it offers as didn't go in),there are players for children and many statues and other things too.A variety of wildlife is also in the park too.

Fantastic park, we spent hours here, so much to explore. Each area is different and it has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of public bathrooms and places to get drinks and coffee. Also well used by people in wheelchairs and mobility scooters as the paths are very well maintained.

I bought the tickets right there. I didn't wait too long. They have in Polish and English. Is about an hour. It was a live show and it was very funny🤣. The chef asked for volunteers and I was one of them. I had a great time with their explanations, jokes. We also saw the Goats from the window. Beautiful place, one gets to learn all about sainy Martin, and how historically the making of the saint Martin croissant started. A beautiful fun and engaging sessions in both English and polish. Highly recommend. You can get to be a chef help guiding the story of the making of the croissant.

No idea why this is so highly rated. It’s not a museum and is over priced. The guys running it seem to think it’s a stand up comedy gig with a stream of inappropriate jokes, things that might have been considered funny in the 1970s... I wouldn’t recommend going here, consider going to one of the other, very interesting actual museums in Poznan. And just buy a croissant at one of the many bakeries.

A good place to have some fun. It was a very nice show with a lot of interaction and a bit of a history. Everyone in the room had a chance to participate in croissant creation process. There was a lively atmosphere with a lot of jokes.

At 2pm they offer an English tour, the host made an introduction on how it all started, explained that it all started for charity. He asked for 6 volunteers to help him out. While explaining the process how to do the croissants the volunteers did what he asked them to do, it was a lovely experience. Ended the tour by watching the fighting goats behind the clock. Finally he gave us a certificate and a piece of this exquisite croissants.

I love the huge supportive Corinthian Columns and the Frescos painted across the ceiling. The Side Aisles are also beautifully decorated along with the Nave.

It was an absolutely gorgeous place to spend a couple of hours. The entry ticket was so cheap, and it even covered access to an aquarium. We were seriously impressed by the variety of plants here. The cute cafe was lovely, but the attitude of the staff could be better. Overall, the botanical garden is such a delight!

Old glass houses, lots of plants etc. It touched us when we saw the marking on the sick plant visible black spots on the leaves etc (attention this plant is under the progress of treatment). For us botanical garden is the best choice to go to take a deep rest especially during the winter time or rainy day.

This place has a variety of plants and fish. It is the biggest palm house I've visited in Poland. It consists of different sections for different climates, and also has a cafe! We've paid 16 PLN each for a regular adult ticket.

I recently visited Poznań's Cathedral for the third time. Every time I visit it I'm blown away by its beauty and historical significance. Inside, the cathedral is filled with stunning stained glass windows, ornate altars, and beautiful sculptures. The history and significance can be felt in every corner and it's clear that great care has been taken to preserve this incredible landmark. A visit to the Cathedral at Ostrów Tumski is a must for anyone visiting Poznań. Highly recommend it!

We had the pleasure to happen by a gentleman from City Event Poznan: the tour took about 45 minutes, the guidance was in Polish and soooo interesting and catching that I would love to spend more alike tours with this guide - I can strongly recommend this! And the cathedral itself is gorgeous, of course.

Cute zoo, well worth the visit! It had so many different animals to see. The llamas were adorable. And so many turtles hanging around the pond. Loved it. Good activity to pass a few hours with friends, family, or even solo!

The old location of the Poznań Zoo, now serves as a large petting zoo and park, the entry is free. This makes it the perfect location to visit on a trip Poznań, especially if you have kids, they love petting the cows, sheep, goats, pigs and even geese, in this zoo. There's only 2 vendors at the entrance and no active zoo staff so you need to pay good attention to your kids.

Small zoo that you can enter for free and stroll like a park. Most of the cages/houses are not in use anymore since they probably do not meet modern size standards. The reptile house (paid) is well worth a visit for its comodo dragon and geckos etc, even though most animals, especially the crocodiles, still have very little space. I love EVERYTHING about the Old Zoo, I honestly just love this place. You can watch amazing, exotic animals for free ❤️ there is also a pavilion (payed 6 zlotych/person) where you can see incredible fishes, frogs, snakes and other animals (except for mammals and birds - they are outside the pavilion). Being there is always amazing experience. You can sit on a bench, read book, watch animals and just enjoy the peace and calmness there 😊🍀

Visited Poznan last week. Sadly time didn't allow for a longer visit in the museum, but we enjoyed our walk across the river Warta along the glazed corridor with open views on both sides, friendly well informed staff at the museum shop and watching a few people clean the concrete steps on the river bank. The bicycle stands were icing on the cake for me - with my growing interest in street furniture.

I highly recommended this place. My kids, 5 and 3 years old, had fun with the interactive audio guide and felt excited to resolve all the puzzles. There's a kid play area on every floor, not very big but interesting and friendly enough to attract my 3-year-old kid. The view of the outdoor surrounding area is fabulous. We enjoyed the place a lot.

What began as my girlfriend and I just popping our heads in out of curiosity turned into a full hour learning about the history of Poznań, a very interesting history at that as Poznań is actually the birthplace of Poland. You get audio-guides to listen to and guide you around the exhibition. To add, once you do the main exhibition, you can go to another desk and get different audio-guides so you can do a guided tour of the nearby cathedral (which is beautiful). About two hours overall for us to complete both tours.

Really interesting place. My partner and I loved it. Very beautiful and the service at the desk is friendly. We had the English audio guide. It's easy and simple to follow. There's a great view on the roof and inside there's lots to learn about the city and it's making.

The museum experience was great. Very modern and engaging. The history of the entire country is well explained. Worth a visit for those who are interested in learning about Poland's and Poznan's history. The tour is available in many languages such as English, French or German. The price is very cheap.

Really excellent high tech multimedia exhibition taking you through the history of Cathedral Island and beyond. I would actually recommend coming here before visiting the Archdiocesan Museum or Cathedral as you'll pick up information from the audio guide and videos about both these places. The smart audio guide knows where you are and automatically plays a commentary for that area. Additionally if you more information about any exhibit you can point audio guide at the headphones symbol and press play. Good views from the terrace on the roof of the building and after you've completed your tour, head across the glass sides bridge to the Cathedral Lock.

This museum was fun, we didn’t have much in terms of expectations as we didn’t know the city very well but after visiting I think this is a must whilst you’re here. The architecture is also very cool and the overall curation space is very well conceived.

Great museum! Got the tram from hotel here and walked about 5 mins to get to the museum. Can't remember cost of entrance but it was cheap and included audio guide and an audio guide for the cathedral also. Spent maybe 2 hrs here and really enjoyed it ! Very informative, interactive and fun! Nice observation deck near the end of self guided tour also. don't have kids, but it's great for kids with lots of kids educational play areas also! If in Poznan I wouldn't miss this one!

A wonderful contemporary building with an interactive museum that gave you an insight to the history of the city. The audio guide was informative and helped navigate you through the museum. There’s also a rooftop viewing terrace which gives great views around. Watch out for the glass walkways if you’re not too fond of heights!

Interesting interiors, especially beautiful are ceilings. You can find a famous koziolki (goats "statues") there. On saturday is free admission.

Beautiful building. Could stare at it for hours. Plenty of places to it and either grab a bite or just people watch.

Lovely place a must see are the bunting goats at noon. Be there early as the crowds can be large.

Very nice place. Entrance is free, but you should pay close attention to the opening hours. The botanical garden is cozy, there are many places to relax. The plants are signed, there are stands with additional information.

Amazing, free-to-enter botanical garden with a great variety of plant species and habitats! It's the perfect place to walk around on a sunny afternoon.

If you like nature and especially plants, you should visit this place. Botanic garden isn't focus only on plans, but on birds too. So, you can learn something more aboud them, but only if you can Polish, what is little bit pity.

I think spring is a good time to come here to soak up the fresh air and the little ladybugs everywhere

Not sure if there are more Tourist Information Centers in Poznan, however there is a very good one at the old square. Polite, smiling and more than willing to help. Special thanks to Norbert for superb guiding.

Really lovely and knowledgable staff - lots of free information and leaflets, including the urban games (highly recommend - they only have polish versions but you can use a smartphone with a camera to translate). Lots of cheap but quality souvenirs too.

Amazing, helpful and friendly team! If you need help, I highly recommend going here. I'm on a genealogy trip here and as I don't understand Polish, they were so kind and took a lot of time to search Polish websites for information regarding my grandfather. A big thank you to the team for their support yesterday! And on another note: Trip apps try to sell you expensive tours. Here they have tours for free and plenty of other information for free. Don't always just depend on the internet.

Haven't been inside because it was closed but it looks really cool. The area there with University close by is also very charming.

At the entrance I saw no one in the ticket window. Anyway I didn't enter to see everything inside but only the outside. Besides, there are a lot of construction work in the area. But the whole area is beautiful with the gardens.

This is a modern (1910) Palace building, very austere and striking rather than beautiful. The main part looks to have been under renovation for a long time and I doubt if it can be visited soon. The large wing on the right of the front is now a very swish gallery and art cinema and well worth a look. To the side an entrance takes you into a courtyard with the rose guardian and a fabulous bar serving excellent low cost food(quiche, pastries) and drinks.

a beautiful piece of history. the majestic structure really leaves you speechless. One thing that displeased me is that the rooms are not furnished and the objects that were inside have been distributed in various museums. If you do not have a guide, it is very easy to get lost due to its size and infinity of rooms. As a student, I paid only 5 złoty for the ticket, a minimum price for a breathtaking structure. absolutely recommended

Nice castle. There isn’t too much to see in the rooms, since there isn’t too much furniture. It’s mostly empty rooms with lots of beautiful marble and wood decorations.

A truly stunning building inside and out. Voice only (many languages available) guided tours improve your experience. Sitting outside with a drink is also part of the experience!

Although built for Wilhelm II and now a cultural center in Poznan the WW2 era is dominant. It was eerie to walk a castle that Albert Speer spent much time modifying for his leader. Much was made to look like Reich Chancellery. It was a feeling I couldn't shake. In the garden you should visit the monument of the 22.000 Polish officers that Stalin killed, to honour and grasp how the polish people suffered.
