An area of natural beauty and rightly so. If you enjoy scenic views long beaches and walking you’ll love Gower, it’s an untouched gem. Very few shops, no visible industry apart from farms, it’s certainly a place suited to those wishing to relax and unwind. The roads are very narrow, there are very few paths, it’s a place where you’ll need to drive carefully and with respect of what might be round the next corner.

Beautiful coastal walks.

A beautiful place.. must visit with kids. Go to three cliffs bay and Rochilles bay for sure. These are a little bit of a walk to get to. Something to keep in mind for older people and people with younger kids . There are a lot of other beaches too which you can drive down to . Do try out Joe's ice cream and Papi's pizza.

Absolutely stunning coastline in South Wales. Beautiful beaches, with plenty of hidden gems along the way, whether it's waterfalls, an old fortress or magical forests.

An excellent part of Wales, fantastic beaches, superb wildlife, draw dropping views, tranquil hiking, quint towns and villages. Truly one of the best areas of Wales and the UK.

I've lived in West Wales for 30 years and had never been to the Gower! I finally met a friend in Swansea and we drove to Bishopston and walked through the wood to Pwll Du beach, alongside the coast to Brandy Cove and then back to Bishopston. Afterwards we drove to Caswell Bay. I was just speechless how breathtakingly beautiful the area was and am planning a lot of trips to different parts of the Gower next year.

I love the Gower. It of course is well known for it's beautiful beaches, each stunning and different. However, there are a number of lovely walks to be done, both inland and coastal. What is really nice is that the peninsula is reasonably unspoilt by over commercialisation. There are some lovely villages a number of top rated pubs, most serving excellent food and a I love the local beers brewed by the Gower brewery.

This is a Fantastic place, shouldn't miss if around. I have been there many times and every time it has over whelmed me with great pleasure. Different seasons at different time it has various looks. It is a great place to take pictures as well.

Fantastic pool and friendly staff, well managed and clean. All slides open and very active life guards. Don't forget your goggles a pair will set you back £20.00 Air dryers for 1 quid for the whole family And free hair dryers A great place to take the kids

I do like a little bit of water with my chlorine. After we exited the pool, we headed outside to see the view. However, we couldn't, because our eyes were stinging from the notoriously large amounts of chlorine. I counted 5 floating plasters, 3 balls of bodily hair and another 3 in my mouth that I could physically not get out. The changing rooms were absolutely, completely, stunningly, utterly revolting. Our relatives were silently gagging at the horrors that were the changing cubicles. Everyone present in the changing rooms were wandering around in what smelt like others' urine. I thought I could have a nice coffee after my swim in the toilet (oh wait sorry, swimming pool), however the plans were scuppered by the fact that there was no barista, of whom probably had to run out of the building due to the extreme chlorine levels. Now, for the positives. The lifeguards were friendly, the rides were fun and plentiful and the waves were gigantic; very entertaining! All bar 1 ride - the Boardrider - were working. That's what pushed the review to 3 stars. Final word; DO NOT ENTER THE CENTRE OF THE LAZY RIVER UNLESS YOU HAVE VERY HIGH CHLORINE TOLERANCE!! The overpowering chlorine hit us in the face like the equivalent of chopping 30 onions. 10 hours later, we still can hardly see and are wondering how to drive the 4 hours home to Hertfordshire tomorrow. See you next year! 😊

It was a nice place to go for a visit. 2 things that would have helped would be a better parking facility and the building itself could have been warmer inside, leaving the pool area it was very brisk and the children's pool wasn't that warm at all, my son was shivering. The staff were great and very helpful. The price was reasonable for what we paid for. I think 4 star is a good rating, will revisit in the future.

Wave runner has never worked even though on the leaflet it specifically says 'the surf's always up at the LC!', the locker rooms are dirty and cramped, but other than that quite good and fun. Great slides, wave machine is quite fun, lazy river is relaxing with a nice Jacuzzi in the middle, and a lovely warm hot tub. (although going back into the pool from hot tub is quite cold!) Would recommend for people who don't mind dirty cramped places and weren't thinking of going on the wave runner. Would NOT reccomend for people with claustrophobia, people who don't like dirty places (like my daughter) or people who wanted to try surfing. Just go to the beach on a day with lots of good waves and bring a surfboard!

Only allowed a hour and 15 minutes in the pool which I found was expensive for the lack of time compared to other pools. The slides were awful. The rubber ring slide everyone kept getting stuck in, the countdown for the wave machine which was meant to be every 21 minutes for longer. The waves happened ONCE in the hour and 15 minutes we was in the pool. Won't ever waste time or money going here again.

What a great morning we had LC Swansea. Visiting Wales for half term and wanted to take the kids swimming. Had low expectations due to various poor Google reviews here (chlorine, dirty, busy) but happy to say our visit was top notch! We arrived early(ish) for the 10am session and it was spotlessly clean, no queues and hardly any people. We all had a great time, all three slides were working (surf thing was out of order). There was a guy cleaning the changing rooms so they stayed fresh - he was doing a great job. Life guards were clearly being attentive (rare thing these days). It was getting busier as we left so I guess it gets busy as people overstay their sessions. Car park next door was free too (Sunday). I don’t doubt previous comments were well founded but certainly not today. Maybe arriving early is the trick???

Great place to bring the kids. We booked in for soft play and swimming on the same day and the kids had a smashing time!. Was really busy in the pool but enough space to do your thing. Didn't feel like we were squashed in.

Wow, Logan on the soft play was an absolute God send. Never before have I seen a staff member so engaging with the children, from talking to my 5 year old about her future career as a medic to playing with my 2 year old in the ball pit to distract her from having hurt herself. He worked his backside off and made it look effortless. The facilities themselves are cracking and priced really well. Best designed soft play I've been to. The pools were fantastic, although the surf area was out of action, the changing rooms freezing and the disabled parking a joke. Still gets a solid 5 stars, a gem of a place that I wish we were locals of.

My daughter's love coming here with the waves, and lots to do in the pool. Wish the water was a little warmer for my 1yr old as she does shiver coming out and the toddler pool is even colder brr...but would highly recommend

Visited for the soft play. Lovely soft play, plenty for the kids to do, my only gripe would be that you only get an hour. It should be an hour and a half in my opinion, most other soft plays are. The hour goes so quick, once you've gotten a seat, taken shoes off etc. Will definitely come back, but an increase in session time would be better.

Great swimming pool. The slides and wave machine are loved by my kids. Some of it is looking pretty tired in places but nothing a lick off paint and someone who can use a silicone gun properly can’t fix!

It’s a great pool for kids and families. A Sunday morning session is the best time to go as the pool is quiet for the first hour of your slot and only gets busy towards the end. The volcano slide is more daughter’s favourite, but she also enjoys the baby pool. Once you’re out the pool, soft play is good fun if you or your little ones have any energy left. The only reason I’ve marked it down from five stars is because on a couple of occasions the water in the baby pool/play area has been freezing cold. Though the last time this happened, staff were pretty quick to rectify it. It might have been too late for us, but I appreciated the response.

Nice and safe place for kids. My boy has loved it and ask me to revisit. Also, the people work inside are incredibly nice and caring, especially the manger Sasha.

Mixed reviews about lc2, the soft play is great probably my favourite in the area and some of the staff are great. However today upon visiting the pool with my partner and daughter the young girl on the desk wasn’t very professional or attentive. After she charged us we realised she didn’t give us the resident discount after mentioning this she just froze and didn’t offer to change this so we left it. The reception was incredibly busy and we were told the next swim session wasn’t for another 45 minutes however other customers were paying and going straight in so eventually we did the same and there were no staff policing this so why were we told this?. The changing rooms need a good clean and uplift and are incredibly cold when you exit the pool. It’s also concerning that anyone can enter the changing rooms you should require a pin to gain entry!! The lifeguards are very young and seem clueless and are too busy chatting away, none are watching the children’s pool next to the main pool meaning you are unable to leave your young child freely walk in the pool due to rough ness of the children using the slide (headfirst, backwards etc.) Better management required!!

Grandkids wanted to do the climbing wall and swimming. They loved every minute of it. Very friendly sociable community pool. We booked on a rainy day and glad we did.

I like LC2 because they provide for muslim women good chance to swim and do sport in private room

I joined the gym. Wahay! I committed to a year too, so no excuse. The facilities are excellent. The gym is very well equipped with some hi tech equipment, and the classes are great too. To top it all, you can swim in the pool as part of the membership, as well as enjoy three hours free parking. A really good venue with lots to do.

Spa facilities great, and Hannah who does the treatments is excellent. Shame swimming pool not available at all times overall clean and well maintained. Every staff member helpful, polite and friendly. Easy to locate but they could advertise better externally and also at the centre itself so you can. Know more about what you can do there and how much it will cost to do things.

Swim area really good just a shame the surf area is out of action. Soft play decent. But £3 for a piece cake no bigger than the palm of your hand is a joke

Well haven't been here in 35 years. Absolutely brilliant. Busy half term day but that was to be expected. Staff at poolside were brilliant. Not afraid to enforce where young lads were messing about. Great to see strictness at all times. Will defo be back.

I couldn’t take lots of pictures as much as I wanted to because it’s not allowed which is understandable. It’s a water park and also has other area where kids can play. I had an awesome experience here, I booked online a day before which cost 8:80 GBP for adults. Each session lasts for 1hr 45 mins. It has a lovely pool that gives waves like a real beach and water tubes. It’s my first time participating in such and it’s so lovely. There’s a changing room and a locker where you can keep your belongings safe. Children will definitely have fun too. There’s an area where you can buy snacks and drinks. I recommend!!!!!!!!

Great pool with my first ever waterslide that goes uphill! Climbing wall is stonking good value for the kids.

A lovely visit with our children and family to the soft play area. Convenient location with ground floor access for the soft play and café just across the entrance hall. The water was freezing. The staff were disinterested. When a slide was closed they left the people in the queue standing there for twenty minutes without explaining what was happening. There were staff there - they just didn’t bother to talk to the people in the queue. We got out early - as did several others due to the water temperature

We loved the swim had lots of fun in slides had a real laugh my 2 daughters and myself BUT we felt very dirty the walls greasy and could see the band of dirt all way round the pool I just couldn’t wait to get in the showers other than that it was great if the pool walls could get a clean 🧼 🧽 would have rated full 5 🌟 otherwise ☺️

Sorry, lovely place as is rest of Wales. Took elderly disabled father there so could sit in car and see the sea and watch the dog have fun on beach for 1hr.. Shame the owners seem to be a bit on the money grabbing side as wanted £5. Samee as if staying all day.worth knowing before you go maybe.£1.50 FOR 1HR Horton car park

An absolutely stunning place to visit. Beautiful beach and not too busy when I was there

The eastern end of Oxwich Bay, beyond the pill, is more remote and rugged than the hotel, car park and restaurant end. In fact, thinking about it, the only time I’ve driven into the bay is either to attend wedding events held in the marquee beside the Oxwich Bay Hotel, or to dine at the Michelin starred ‘Beach House’, otherwise I’ve either cycled in, which is a pacy wiggly descent, or walked in from Tor Bay or Nicholaston Burrows. The beach isn’t lifeguarded, which means that on occasion it becomes the playground for jet skiers, who launch off Knab Rock in Mumbles and head round to terrify bathers and SUP riders. Dog walkers seem to enjoy the vast flat expanse of sand, chasing the oystercatchers on the low tide line. However, the loveliest part of this bay is the nature reserve concealed in the dunes, with its great variety of ancient wildflowers, and wetlands that host a variety of birds, and if you know where to look, adders. Further along, the burrows have piled sand in front of the old cliffs, which have become overgrown with blackthorn and ivy. The beach is finally punctuated by the upturned Sedimentary limestone plates of Great Tor.

At times I felt as though I had been transported to another planet. Perfect weather, Bank Holiday & barely another soul in sight. This planet was all mine for a few hours. Rocky landscapes, grassy ledges as soft as velvet & bluebell woodlands full of the aroma of wild garlic ready to flower.....

Lovely beach even on a windy day in November. Dog walking all year around. Car parking was £5 a little expensive for out of season when you’re only likely to be visiting a an hour or two, should be no more than £3. Very disappointed to find the toilets were not open. Food and drink facilities but over £3 for a coffee!

Used to be one of my favourite places in Swansea went down there on the 18th of July the wife and I was shocked to see they put the price up to £15 and then realised we couldn’t park on the seafront because we had a transporter. We was very disappointed won’t be going there again and I think I can speak for a lot of my mates who’s got transporters left a very bitter taste in my mouth 👎

Beautiful beach - excellent facilities. I went swimming there at the beginning of May- yes it was cold !!. Tide does come in quite quick so make sure you don't get caught out !.

Love this place it has the nicest atmosphere. People swimming and body boarding having fun. Dogs running around enjoying them selves. They have benches placed so you can sit and watch the world go by. This place is only small but some how I loved it so much.

Lovely beach with some good rock climbing too

One of the nicest beaches in wales, and my personal favourite in the Gower. I highly recommend walking to Langland across the costal path with the hope to see some seals. When the tide is out it makes for a big stretch of the beach, when in it makes a beautiful little beach. Parking can be hard if on a popular summers day.

Always an enjoyable stroll, this time along to he beach in but other times on the in coastal footpath. Do not be surprised to see not only surfers in wet suits, but also a sturdy band of swimmers who bathe no matter what the weather and who ignore the cold. Some swim almost every day and on a recent holiday weekend , I counted 18 brave soaps in the water, half surfers and the other half swimmers. It’s great that they look out for each other, as there are no lifeguards on the beach in the winter.

An easy to access, fantastically sheltered beach just a stones throw away from the Mumbles. The carpark is limited, but there are public toilets and a few small shops to grab a bite to eat and a drink.

One of my favourite beaches to visit. Easy access from car park to beach. Disabled toilets are clean. A great place to spend the day. Felt quite safe late at night whilst searching for bioluminescent plankton.

This is one of my favourite beaches in the Gower area! The bay is just perfect and there a 1 min walk to the beach from the car park. Clean toilets and shower outside. Surf hire and beachy pop up shop on the beach which sells ice creams too. Good sea to swim in too.

Always a lovely place to visit, dog friendly in the winter season. Some great caves to go Dragon hunting in! Lovely cafe on the beach too get a bacon sandwich, cake or coffee in.

Lovely beach with a fabulous walk around the coast to Langland Bay. It can be a bit steep in places though but it's worth the effort. Caswell has a big car park, a chippie and toilet block. The beach is lovely and clean but no dogs between May and September. Lovely place to visit.

A wonderful afternoon spent exploring this lovely museum. Loved the nautical displays and the History of the people of Swansea. Will definitely be back in the summer. Free entry. Lots of activities for children. A wonderful place right next to the marina.

Free entry to a nice museum to amble through. We were meant to book ahead, but if you haven't booked they let you through at the door anyway Staff were friendly and helpful. Will admit it wasn't the most exciting museum, but there was such a variety of things there's something for everyone to have a look at. It's not exactly a day trip, but worth a look around if you have a spare couple of hours, considering it's free entry anyway. Do note the furniture on the second floor doesn't fit people of all sizes 😉

Such an interesting place, well worth a visit - great exhibitions, a large number of interactive exhibits on a variety of topics, archive footage of swansea and other places. Fascinating models, full size exhibits and works of art. A community garden... Interesting on so many levels and it's free to enter! Poor signage to find it on foot from the park and ride bus stop but that's not the museum's fault. ( we had an interesting walk round the marina when the museum was actually quite close to the bus stop!)

We attended a wedding and reception dinner held in the museum. Really lovely event in great rooms. Very well done. Today we were there for a dance recital event. Many dance companies in attendance. Fabulous!

This is based in the centre of Swansea and was quite easy to get to. The museum was free but did have a small market stalls for gift shop. The entry is also free and there's something there for everyone.

Great place to visit, and it's free! The Marina is really lovely and there is an amazing looking Chinese Restaurant just outside.

You can immerse into the centuries old heritage of Swansea and Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 at large inside this modern-looking National Waterfront Museum! Entry is FREE 🆓! A lot to take on! Very intelligently and conveniently, the Musuem has developed many interactive displays - these are very effective and useful for engaging & learning about the history! Design and layout of the Musuem is quite extraordinary with appropriate Signages across the site! Easy to follow! Some of the permanent exhibitions are of great historic landmarks including Coal Industries, Copperworks, Industrial 🏭 Nation, "Copperopolis", Bustling Marina ⛵ Docks, Industrial Maritime of Wales, Swansea Valley Landscapes, People of Swansea lived for centuries! One of the amazing experiences is the Virtual Experience of 19th Century Swansea - delving into 1851 and finding about people lived the area surrounding the Musuem! 😮😯🧑‍🎓🎦🎞️📽️🎥🤔🤔 A cafe and a Souvenir Shop are also available inside the Musuem! Another great viewing option is the Marina Balcony facing the wonderful Swansea Marina Docks! And most importantly, two of the historic boats - the lightship Helwick, a tugboat called Canning - floating on the water can be seen on the right side of the balcony! These boats are the assets of The Swansea Museum and the only two boats that are floating in the water. There are no public access to both the boats! The Musuem organises many Temporary Short Term Exhibitions - nurturing the mind & Soul of the visitors! One of the exhibitions was about the Video Games and different generations of video games - nostalgic experience - brought back childhood memories! They kept at least one of each generation plugged in for visitors to play the game! Wow! That was something - unbelievably nostalgic experience - loved gaming the experience - best games of those days! Overall, a good interactive Musuem with lots of characters! Tour of the Musuem can be part of a fabulous Family Day Out in the Swansea Marina!

Visited the museum multiple times with the family. Went over the Christmas period and done their Christmas trail, which the kids really enjoyed. Plenty of interesting items around the museum with lots of rich history. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area. Plenty of parking available close by too in St David's car park and free on a Sunday. There are also other car parks within walking distance. There is also a nice cafe on site, which sells coffee, tea, cakes, sandwiches etc. With plenty of seating.

Brilliant museum regarding the history of Wales and also of the copper history of Swansea. It's free so no need to worry about paying to get in. There is also a cafe there and gift shop. Some of the interactive exhibits were not working or not functioning correctly but overall the muesum was well liked by myself and my family.

We visited the National Waterfront Museum today, for the first time. Great that this is free to visit. It’s in a nice location on Swansea Waterfront and there’s a lovely view of the waterfront from an open-air terrace on the first floor. The section on the maritime history was nice, with lots of model boats to look at. There’s a good section on the ground floor with lots of old vehicles - including a Sinclair C5. My children enjoyed the children’s corner for under 5s. It’s got a fixed Brio railway track on a table with several different loops, a little boat galley, big Lego blocks and some puppets. There’s a cafe downstairs. A dedicated room for baby changing. Actually, the nicest baby changing room I’ve used. There’s a soft mat by the baby changing table for safety and a chair with lots of cushions if you wanted somewhere private to feed (I’m fine with feeding in public, but still handy to know it’s there).

Absolutely lovely experience to be able to walk through history with many recognisable events present. Even included sections from the South Wales coal mines which brought me back home ⛏️ would definitely recommend just to have a little look around - also holds regular events like the recent 75th NHS anniversary celebration, which was a blast also! Nothing to lose, go check it out!

A stunning location, the beach and natural harbour are breathtaking. The walks up along the cliffs that take you up to the ruins of Pennard Castle are great offering superb views at every turn

Don't go here - you won't like it. Long (lovely) walk to the beach. No amenities or arcades (which is peaceful). I'd suggest mumbles or Rhossili instead- Leave Three Cliffs to remain beautiful, peaceful and bliss ;-)

This place is beautiful. Very picturesque. The dog also loved it. The walk to the beach from the car park is super muddy due to all the rain. Typical me got stuck in the mud on the way back. Lucky we are not so far away so could come back and shower. What a day.

Beautiful beach with some pretty amazing views. A 20 minute walk comfortable from the car park. Plenty of happy dogs playing around. It gets very busy during holidays and weekends. We couldn’t get close to the 3 cliffs as there was a stream of water cutting off the edge of the beach and we did not want to get our feet wet.

Gorgeous beach. Lovely walk down from the car park along the river. Kids had a great time swimming in the sea and building sandcastles. Dogs had an even better time on the huge beach. Certainly go back!

Seriously so beautiful! We had a little scared because we decided to climb up and down the mountain, but if you go through the clear path this won't happen to you. The beach is stunning and the place at night is really something else. Could be one of the most beautiful places in Wales in my opinion.

I walked over 70 miles around Gower coastline and Three Cliffs Bay is by far my favourite beach. When you appear at top of sand dunes, look down at estuary and wonder how to cross then as you reach cross point the stepping stones appear (time tide right) it's purely magical.

The Three Cliffs Beach is scenic, sandy beach, backed by three limestone cliffs is a spectacular shoreline of sand dunes. Three Cliffs bay is located on the south coast of the Gower, a thumb sized shaped peninsula situated in the centre of the south Wales coast. The beach is half an hour drive from the city of Swansea or a 90 minute drive from Cardiff. Check out this 3.7-km out-and-back trail near Overton, Swansea. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 46 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

Lovely free public garden. Especially good in May when Rhododendrons and Azaleas are in bloom. Small catering caravan for teas and cakes as well as clean toilets. All free. Car park near the pub and within walking distance of the beach.

Lovely gardens with fabulous rhododendrons and other exotic plants in a wooded valley. There's even a pop-up tea kiosk in an old caravan with outdoor seating. A little gem of a garden with the occasional feature. Lovely to explore. 🌴🌲🌺😎👍👍👍

I spent a few hours between the gardens, and Swansea Bay, beach. It was all beautiful and free xx

Excellent place with lots of different trail that keep the kids busy with lots of small bridges. Japanese bridge is gorgeous. We parked in Mill lane where parking is free outside Mumbai restaurant. We then chilled in the lido that is just opposite the garden and a great walk along the beach. It can't go wrong with everything on offer It is absolutely free.

I came to Clyne Gardens to pick off a geocache that required me to visit various locations within the gardens. I had a lovely stroll around the gardens reading the little plaques at the foot of the trees and next to various plants. I climbed the little tower and saw the beautiful Japanese style bridge. Found the little lookout. Its a shame that the look out can't be opened to the public. The small cottage was sadly covered in graffiti. It would be nice if this was done up and it could be a nice place to sit and read. If you've not been to Clyne Gardens it is a great place out for a family walk or a nice picnic. Sadly not all of the gardens are wheel chair assessable as there are some steep paths and some steps dotted throughout the gardens but wheel chair users can still enjoy the lower lower sections of the gardens.

Such lovely gardens! A woodland and bog garden, which is well-run by the City Council. Clyne Gardens contains varied National Collections of plants set in beautiful parkland, with features such as a Japanese bridge, Admiral's Tower and the magnificent Clyne Castle. There are panoramic views of Swansea Bay. There's toilet facilities which is handy

Absolutely gorgeous area for a walk with terrain to suit all abilities as well as wheelchairs/ prams. Very popular with locals and tourists who cycle, run, walk their pets as well as fish in the lake.

First visit to Clyne Gardens and can't wait to go back! Beautiful Gardens in beautiful setting, with stunning views of the coastline. There is plenty of benches to sit on and the scenery is outstanding all around you. You can buy coffee, tea etc or bring your own! Car parking is great, we parked in first carpark as you drive down the side of the Woodman Arms. Clyne Gardens is an hidden gem, which I am sure you will love ❤

Beautiful gardens. Spent several hours wandering through. So much to see. A definite must if you visit Swansea or The Mumbles.

A nice garden to visit off Mumbles Road next to The Woodman Pub. Ideal place for a walk with different collections and displays around the garden. Unfortunately we didn't see the entire garden has it take a while to walk round and it was raining. We will visit again another time when it's sunny. Parking is free and it's best to navigate to the The Woodman Pub.

Very nice gardens with lot of different plants and lot of small bridges over little creeks. And the gardens are very popular with locals walking their dogs so you can meet a lot of new friends. Easily accessible and easy to navigate with clear paths.

A beautiful garden. Dog friendly if they are on a lead. The layout is dense with some beautiful plants and features to see. There is a good toilet right near the entrance with a small cafe in a cool caravan there too. There are benches to sit on along the root round the garden if you need a break as the hill can get steep. When coming back down from the top make sure you walk off the main path on the map and go to the far left corner of the map so that you don't miss the Japanese bridge and the beginning of the walk along side the stream. As you walk that route we found it better to be on the path to the left, the lower path, as that runs along the stream. Our kid loved walking through the shallow stream with her wellies on. When down that way, try and spot the tree with a branch like the foot of a horse.

Floral Highlights: The gardens house a nationally acclaimed collection of Rhododendrons and Azaleas, along with mature trees and perennial flowers. Map and Navigation: The provided map, detailed with trails and features, greatly aids in navigating the gardens. However, an enhancement that shows distances between points would make it even more user-friendly. While there are several information displays, more could be done. The bridges, for instance, could be better identified and labeled, akin to the map, which would assist visitors in route planning. Trail Discrepancies: A challenge is the misalignment between the official trails on the map and what exists on the ground. Over time, shortcuts used by visitors and locals have morphed into unofficial trails. This, combined with the inconsistency in trail markings, can be disorienting for both new and returning visitors. Intriguing Elements: A peculiar observation is that each footbridge is named distinctly, with only the Japanese Bridge having a storied past and a display to its name. The presence of ponds and a stream adds to the allure, with the latter morphing into a roaring cascade after rain, creating mini waterfalls along the way. Panoramic Lawn: The Main Lawn, sloping downwards from St Catwg Walk to the Mumbles Road entrance, offers a mesmerizing view of Swansea Bay. Furnished with picnic tables and benches crafted from fallen trees, it’s the perfect spot to relax. Parking is also provided, shared with The Woodman pub, with street parking options surrounding the gardens. Clyne Gardens is more than a garden; it's an experience. This is a really great pub, a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Plenty of parking. The staff were really friendly, and the food was delicious. 3 options for vegans, and they were good options. The vegan cheesecake was amazing!! The only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5... We went to this pub based on the terrific reviews about their Sunday lunch. On arrival we were told Sunday roasts are not served in summer time. I didn't see this anywhere on their website.

This is a fabulous place to stay with a dog! The rooms are great and reception has doggy supplies too. The hotel bar and terrace is exceptional in its dog friendliness. There are dog sausages at breakfast and there is even rice based dog dinners too. The location is great. Very close to huge lovely dog friendly beaches.

Very friendly and accommodating staff who found us a table for 7 on a busy Friday night without any fuss. Food was good quality, substantial and delicious! We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

This is THE best Sunday dinner I have experienced for a little while, so good that I've already planned to go back. Speaking to the staff all food is made on site and they start preparing from around 6am, everything we had was so tasty and full of flavours (I even ate the swede which I don't normally like). There was a slight delay on our dessert, but the customer service was brilliant and it was handled amazingly. Location is in an area of beauty being in the Gower, you can see the sea and there are some stunning walking trails around, very handy to quench your thirst

Popped in for lunch on our way to the beach. Luckily it was a beautiful day and we were able to enjoy lunch on the front terrace. Staff were very welcoming and we both had a Brie and cranberry baguette which came with some salad and crisps .It was first class. We also ordered some chips which were amazing. Best I've ever had. Washed down with a pint of Buckleys. Must admit we had a little kip in the sun on the beach. Fabulous 👌

My partner and I attended the pub today with our dogs. The welcome, hospitality, and service was fantastic. However, the food, namely Fish and Chips, was not so good. The batter on the fish was tasteless and soggy. The once legendary thrice cooked chips had disappeared, only to be replaced by hard and over cooked imitators. Such a shame as the ambience and dog friendly setting was superb.

Great pub 👌 didn't stay here. I spoke to a few locals, and one used to work here; out of season, it is great. In season, it can get really manic especially if the weather is good. We went out of season towards the end-April. Sharp service and the food menus are excellent and cater to all meat, vegan, gluten-free types. By the way, the venison pie is superb 👍 😀. ENJOY 😉

Only a one night stop, can't fault the place at all. Friendly staff from booking in to the waitresses in restaurant. Lovely room and setting, fantastic breakfast. Had a meal in the evening. Food was amazing and you get what you pay for in quality Thanks for making our anniversary a great stop. Recommended

We were here for a three course meal with a tribute band. The food was outstanding, the flavours were to be savoured. I went for crispy chicken wings, and chicken wrapped in Parma ham for a main. My dessert was peach cobbler with ice cream, sadly I only ate the ice cream as I had absolutely no room for another bite of food. It was warm and cosy by the fire. Service was prompt and the staff friendly.

“Can’t get over how accommodating they were.” We were a group of 12 having dinner and lots of drinks there on a bank holiday Sunday. The food was fantastic (delicious, quick and hot!). The service was even better! Thank you for a lovely and lively evening at the Kings Head Inn!

Wow, took a little road trip and headed here for a Sunday roast, warm welcome from staff, the roast was exceptional, fresh tasting and was reasonable value for the price. Breath taking views right on our door step, perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. In high season I would highly recommend to book.

We had a lovely time at the pub. Chips were a little soggy, but really lovely staff. Excellent BBQ sauce though, which we commented would really improve most pubs. Ample seating and good views. We were delighted to use the local free bus service, good technical driver with a friendly manner and great spatial awareness. Make sure to use the free charging sockets! Set an alarm, the smoothe drive might lull you to sleep 😴😉🤪

Really enjoyed our lunch at this great little pub. Fantastic food! We had the steak and kidney pie with new Gower potatoes and seasonal vegetables and my partner had chicken and Asparagus pie. Well done to the chef and all the staff here who were lovely.. Strong recommendation if you want good food and service. We will be back again during our holiday in The Gower.

Had a pit stop here after a walk over the hill from our camp site, this ended up being a meal for all 7 of us and two dogs. Absolutely superb. Thank you. Local beers, local food, great service and atmosphere.

Visited this lovely pub whilst on holiday. Super experience - really well organized, separate gluten free menu with lots of options and good kids menu. Food was excellent - delicious home cooked chips, loved the pie, steak cooked exactly as requested. Service friendly, accommodating and efficient. If only there were more places like this.

A simply beautiful pub an absolute gem! Beautiful food and drink next to the log fire. A Testament to the owner as it's clear that this pub is superbly maintained with stunning period features. Staff are very welcoming and dogs are welcome here even inside the pub. I highly recommend anyone visit.

Very busy Saturday night service. We had to book a table in advance. Plenty of food options, vegetarian and gluten-free. Service was prompt, and the food we ordered was good value and quality. Good beer selection, great atmosphere, great scenic location. Only four stars because my burgers were overcooked, but my companions said their food was great, harsh? Maybe I will definitely come back!

Stayed one night here in autumn after a long walk on the stunning beach nearby. Even on a dark, quiet evening, it has a gorgeous, dog-friendly vibe which is completely down to the lovely locals and super-friendly staff. A special mention to Mahmood, Carl and especially Julie, who really made me and my pooch feel so welcome. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, although bring your slippers as the stone floor is pretty cold. Delicious food too (I had the pork belly) as well as a canine menu for our four-legged friends. I'll definitely be back!

We came here for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely phenomenal! I had the roast turkey and it was without a doubt the best turkey I have ever had, cooked beautifully and so juicy and tender! Make sure you ask for Yorkshire puddings as they are not automatically included and they were the best we’ve ever had! Lovely staff, we went back later in the week for another lunch which was really delicious - my husband had the chilli and it was spicy and gorgeous. Thanks so much, great place to have eaten during our Gower holiday! Parking during busy Sunday service for a bit hectic but so worth it!!

We had a fantastic day at the Gower heritage Centre. Not only is the place very nice and perfect for a sunny day outside with the family, but it also has plenty of very interesting information, activities for kids and a great café. Definitely one not to miss if you are in the area!

Had a nice time there. Glad to see they are preserving some old local machinery and historical practices. Quite a quaint location. Our son was a bit young for most of it but is a very good place for kids as many activities.

A bit worn out, but probably ideal for families with young children who want to run around and see some animals. The mill illustrations were fun to see. The cider enterprise was. Interesting and different. Worth a 10 minute stop for £8? Maybe. We did get to use the toilets, so that probably sways into a “for sure” deal. The bakery’s (separate business, I think) croissant was damn good.

It's great place for family outing. Children will really enjoy this place. There are lot of facts we can learn related to history and the authorities beautifully arranged all the stuffs of the ancient period.

Great place for people of all ages, really interesting tour explaining the history of the buildings as well as the gower in general. Great education area on sheep, goats, chickens, ducks and other birds. Craft workshops available if booked beforehand. The shop has a great selection of local foods, drinks and crafts. Infact they sell cider that comes from the orchard on their land. Very local and authentic. I would recommend the red lady cider.

Great location, we didn’t go for the tour but had some coffee, cider and cakes from the shop. Very friendly and helpful. Cider is made on site and tastes very nice. Better to have a designated driver so you can enjoy the different types of cider available. Chocolate brownie is really good too.

We spent 4 hours (incl lunch break) here on a wet day Feb half term with our 2 grandchildren 6 & 8. We all learned so much from the miller about his 800 yr old watermill and his ducks and their 3 week old ducklings. Simple, but the kids enjoyed the indoor play area and the historic farm machines etc. They were able to hand grind some flour and enjoyed feeding the ducks (20p coins needed)

Had such a great day out. Super friendly staff, great history and so much to see! Really enjoyed it. Plus plenty of bonus animals to see and a tasty tea room. Highly recommend. Also the fact you can park there, pay for entry then use the carpark to walk to the three cliffs bay is ideal!!! Such a brilliant time!!

It's a lovely place to spend the morning or afternoon, plenty for adults and children, it's a look into times gone by also does workshops, pottery, painting, craft works, woolen mill, and play areas for children plus duck feeding.

It is a good place for what it is supposed to be. Don't expect bells and whistles. But all good.

Amazing place to camp overnight in your vehicle/campervan for £12. Toilets open all night and shower tokens £1. Lovely little shop making fresh coffee and treats. Bakery sold amazing croissants too. Had a long walk to 3 cliffs Bay and Pennarth Castle ruins. We will definitely come back!

Warm friendly service. Lots to see for the whole family. Locally produced apple juice and cider to buy - a must! A superb bakery with freshly baked treats - delicious croissant varieties. Silversmith shop with exquisite items. Walking trails through this scenic area are very popular. A very special place to visit. Highly recommended.

Friends and I sailed ⛵️ today around beautiful Swansea Bay. Swansea Marina is full with stunning boats.

Nestled on the edge of Swansea is the modern marina. You will find a nice selection of bars and restaurants, which get busy when the sun appears. The area around the marina is lovely and flat with excellent, wide footpaths. It is good of a nice, long, relaxing walk or doing a bit of cycling or running.

Love walking around the Mark and with the West pier refurbishment al most complete it will be even better soon.

Sit at any of the many cafes, bars and restaurants and watch the world go by.

A stunning marina in a rejuvenating Swansea area. A lovely walk along the harbour and Sail Bridge takes you along the harbour and marina and the many boats. With the renovation still on going the path was disturbed so could carry on along but it is a lovely place to visit

The marina is a fabulous place to walk.You can visit rain or shine and I'm very lucky to live so nearby.

Ideal for a brisk walk and (depending if it's lock down) a good strong coffee (The Swigg), or a bite to eat - various eateries (subject to Covid restrictions). A small Co-op that sells all you need and Sainsbury's nearby too. Walk over the Trafalgar Bridge and take a peek to see if you can spot a seal, comeran (bird), porpoise, dogfish etc or to take a short wait while swing bridge's open to allow marine traffic through.

Was there for the Wales Airshow. Apart from a strong wind, it was an excellent day! We regularly visit the marina for food and drinks and have never had any reason to complain. Backed up by a long fabulous sandy bay. Its got the lot!

Lovely place for a walk and loads of bars and cafes to stop off for a drink and something to eat. Public toilets available. Just a shame with some people not picking up their dog mess.

Luvly marina overlooking the Sail Bridge which the River Tawe runs under. Boats of all sizes in marina. Nice apartment blocks overlook the marina. Worth a visit :)

Swansea Marina is a fabulous place to visit at any time, but in the sunshine it is heavenly. Walk all around the marina admiring the boats of all sizes and the schools of mullet, then stop halfway for a pint and lunch at the Pump house, before making your way around the other side and back to the ample car-park. The marina has several shops and amenities including hairdresser, barber and grocery shops. A thoroughly enjoyable walk and a nice sit down too.

Very pleasant walk around the marina. Excellent place for anyone with mobility issues to get their daily exercise. Coast cafe does good coffee & lovely cakes. South Quay is also a lovely walk but much quieter. When the bars are open you can get a drink; if not the Tesco Express does Costa coffee.

A fan of boats? Docks? The Marina has historical boats parked right next to residential areas. It is surrounded by apartment buildings, who tenants have to enjoy the view every day 😂 It's very nice walking around it, so when in Swansea, get out there to enjoy the views, the atmosphere and yourself.

Nice! Was very atmospheric in the fog/mist when we visited. Tide was headed out so more of the beach was revealed. The tide is BIG, coming in and out quite a long way. Don’t get caught out! Nice cafe available, free toilets near the car park which is chargeable but very reasonable (£1.50 3hrs). Open to dogs during winter season.

A visit to Langland is always enjoyable at any time of the year, with coffee and ice cream. There is Golf, surfing, tennis and the new netball pitch.

Nice large carpark, bigger beach than Caswell more places to eat, definitely worth a visit

What a wonderful windy, sandy, wavy Langland Bay Beach! The beach is a semicircular shape with Cliffs merging with the salty water - leaving white frothy-foams across the sandy beach - waves after waves are crashing against the sandy shore & cliff rocks and making a very powerful wavy-music 🎶 - loud but not noisy - it brings a blissful calmness and strange quietness into the mind! It is being said that it is one of the most popular surfing spot for all abilities! Beautiful promenade goes across the beach and the Cliffs leading to the Caswell Bay Beach - natural beauty spots hiking area for all ages! Watching the sunset 🌇 or sunrise 🌅 would be a phenomenal experience! Plenty of beaches and seating areas are available throughout! Public Conveniences including RadarKey-Enabled Disabled Toilet ♿ 🚽, Gents and Ladies Toilets 🚻 and Shower Area 🚿 are available adjacent to the Alma Road! The Beach 🏖 has much more attractions along with its' unrivalled unparalleled sandy beach 🏖 - a cafe with outdoor seating on the beach, Golf Course ⛳ beach-huts, and newly refurbished The Barter Tennis 🎾 Courts (are available for public use free of charge without any booking but during summer moths - courts are for booking only!)! Perhaps, a Children's Play Area would enhance the beach 🏖 experience even more! Obsolete derelict tennis court would be the perfect place for this! There is a large Pay & Display car park 🚙 🅿 available by the Brynfield Road off Langland Road! Overall, an outstanding beach 🏖 for all ages and abilities to enjoy, chat, exercise, make friends, read books, drink coffee, write 📝 novels 📖, draw/paint 🎨 all the while respect the water, beach, shore, Cliffs and Visitors!

Tagged on to the back end of the Mumbles is Langland Bay. This bay is tucked away, and access via road is through some quite narrow and steep roads. However, once you arrive, the area is fairly flat, and an excellent footpath, which is food for those with mobility issues, encompasses the bay. The beach itself is mainly sand and shingle, with rocky outcrops. There is plenty of space for the kids or the dog to have a good run around and a nice little cafe at the top end, for any drinks or snacks thar you may require. This is one place I keep going back to as I enjoy the coastal walk between Langland and Caswell. One day, I may get a little bravery and push on further along the coast.

One of my favourite beaches in the area. Handy parking just minutes wall is ideal too. Overly priced buckets and spades but otherwise no complaints!

Good beach. £9 for all day parking, plenty of spaces. Pretty good sand for beach activities. Toilets available. Several cafe options.

Always a beautiful place to go for walkies with our fur baby and stop for an ice cream/coffee

A lovely sea front. We were there during low tide and could walk quite a bit into the beach/sea. All sorts of beach games were on and surfer folks were getting ready to get in and surf when the surf was just going up. Amazing evening spent. The cafe by the beach is also good.

From the distant past, my wife recalls teas being served on the beach, in fine porcelain, carried on trays. Those days are long gone, but you can still find catering to suit most tastes at Langland; the brasserie, cafe, and takeaway open pretty much all year round, and are particularly welcome shelters from inclement weather. Gone also is the old Osborne Hotel, with its gorgeous dining room looking out over both Rotherslade and the main beach, replaced by a block of indifferent flats. The same fate befell the second-most interesting architectural feature of the bay - the former miners rehabilitation centre, set back behind the tennis courts, with fine gothic features. Mercifully, the most endearing feature of the bay, the uniform green and white beach huts remain untouched from the early twentieth century. They define the bay, and do much to offset the encroachment of the super sized villas of the wealthy that dominate the skyline. Surfers from all over the world will come to Langland as one of three famous UK breaks, along with Fistral and Thurso. The golf course has groomed and trimmed the headland that separates Langland from Caswell. A very suburban environment.

Great facilities, which include a few eating places, clean toilets, nice clean beach with lifeguards. We did the walk along the coastal foot path to caswell bay roughly 25 min walk. Very scenic with lots of benches along the way.

Lovely beach, plenty for kids to do build sandcastles, look for crabs and paddle. The water is shallow with a steady decline. I’d recommend water shoes as it is rocky, especially when the tides in. We took our paddle board and had a fab day, we’re even unexpectedly joined by a seal. There are lifeguards, toilets, showers and cafes nearby.

Beautiful, well-maintained beach. Lots of space to explore and lifeguards on duty during season. Lots of surf and space for family fun. The beachside cafe and Langland brasserie serve good food the former more casual than the latter.

Classic British seaside pier, one thing this has which others lack is an RNLI station. Offers good views around the bay to Swansea although the actual pier was closed for refurbishment when we visited in Spring 2022 but there is plenty to do around the pier.

Copperfish chip shop on the pier: chips poor quality (lots of black/green) and a 'large' portion is barely a Standard size. Parking is chargeable. You get £2 back but the cafe was shut for a function so this couldn't be redeemed. Pier arcades...most Change machines out of order. Majority of games are either 2p or those which give you tokens. Nice view over Mumbles and the new Big Wheel should bring in trade.

Busy but such a lovely place to go to for fresh air and food, fish and chips by the sea is what we all need to blow away those cobwebs!! go early though to be able to park, especially if you need a disabled spot as there aren't many of these so it really is luck of the draw. We got there at 12.30pm and pulled in to 2 different car parks along the front, but there were only 3 or 4 spaces in each for disabled parking, we got lucky in the 3rd car park after queuing for 15 minutes!!! Had food in from the Copper fish take away as the restaurant was full, but that was expected on such a gorgeous day, again we were lucky to get a table (for 6 people, 2 of us in wheelchairs) but definitely no rush to have to move. Then spent an hour in the amusement arcade, great fun!!! Then Ice cream, perfect way to end the trip!!!

Visited twice during half term. Really lovely place. Wonderful views. We walked the pier to the lifeboat station and had a little look at the lifeboat from the viewing gallery. My children really enjoyed the arcade and we had a nice meal. Easy to park and resonable costs. A nice few hours entertainment.

I love this pier in the mumbles. It's close to Bracelet bay. You can park at the top and walk down the steep road or take the steps. We had fish and chips at the restaurant on the pier. The fish and chips were lovely and very reasonable.infact they cheaper than our local chip shop.

Good spot for the evening time. If you park your car in parking lot next to the pier, you get £2 off to spend at the cafe, Which would not be a bad deal. The main attraction of this pier is wooden box seating arrangements where you can enjoy the food from different cafes. The view is beautiful from the tip of the pier and arcade games are as usual.

It's so pretty around the mumbles and a great place to spend the day. The beach is fun to explore and a pretty little restaurant. I also had to try Joe's on my way home and it was definitely worth it.

Beautiful views and very pleasant walk to the pier!! Parking available kn site wth reasonable prices and you can use £2 of parking ticket in cafe!! Refreshing seating area with beautiful views!! Cafe has hot anx and cold drinks with variety of snacks!! Children play area!! Overall a good option for couple of hours good time!!

Always lovely to spend some time around the pier and the surrounding beaches, especially in the summer when the weather is fantastic. Cafe has a great range of hot and cold food / drink that never takes too long to arrive, personally I love their vegetarian / vegan options. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy the beautiful views of Swansea bay!

Plenty of Disabled Spaces right next to the Pier. Parking isn't too expensive and you can get some money off from the Cafe with the Parking Voucher. Cafe was nice enough. We didn't use the arcade, it looked good though. Definitely busy with School Kids after 5pm on Weekdays. So if you have kids and want some quiet time at the arcade, going during school times during the week is recommended. All in all, I would recommend and would go again.

Visited as a couple. I am a local and my partner is not so I thought I'd show him some of what Swansea has to offer. On arrival you need to pay for parking at the machine which is located around the centre of the car park against the cliff side edge. There is apparently no tariff for blue badge holders which can sometimes be the case in Swansea car parks. We paid £3 for 2 hours, but also received a £2 voucher which we were able to redeem against food and drink in the cafe. There are around 5 blue badge spaces available which are close to the cafe/pier but still have the same distance walk to the pay meter as other spaces. There doesn't appear to be an alternative pay station. First we visited the cafe and had a cold cider and a pint of orange juice (not on the menu) as well as a few treats to share; ice cream, chips and a scone. Service was excellent. We did queue for a short while to order, but it was not too long of a wait. About 5 minutes. Food and drinks were brought to the table within another 10 minutes or so. Next we went into the arcade. If we had come as a family then I'm pretty sure it would have become very expensive very quickly. We spent around £20 in the arcade which gave us around 45 minutes play time on various things. Unfortunately our time was up and so we had to leave, but we will definitely be coming back again.

Beautiful Victorian seaside village with all the best amenities. Wonderful arcade, RNLI Museum, shops, great restaurants and the new Mumbles Wheel just opened. A must see.

Had a lovely time at the pier with the whole family. Plenty to keep all age groups entertained from the arcade, beach, bar, cafe and beautiful scenery. We got lucky to be there on a sunny day and got some fantastic pictures. Other reviews have mentioned the pier being closed but as of (Sept 23) it was open and accessible.

Lovely pier with great views into Swansea Bay. The cafe has lovely chandeliers inside and a self playing piano. Had a lovely pot of tea and coffee at a reasonable price. We sat outside which was lovely. Staff were very friendly.The arcade is great fun with a range of games for young and old.

Great privately owned pier. Although part closed for repair works. Theres pay carparking and the pier is free entry. Amusement arcade and cafeteria. We got fish n chips which was absolutely fantastic. A definate recommend winter or summer.

The Mumbles Pier has been part of Swansea since 1898, a family run business the Pier is one of very few privately owned Piers left in the UK. Steeped in history and filled with many memories come take a look as we continue our work to bring the pier back to its former glory; as the crown jewel of Mumbles. On your visit take in the spectacular panoramic views of across the Bay from our Beach Hut Café where you can enjoy a number of seaside classics as well as an array of hand rolled pizza’s, fresh baguettes and lets not forgot a classic Fish and Chips. The kids and big kids alike will love the Amusements Arcade with over 100 machines.

Lovely place, but it's a shame that there is a lack of Welsh, nothing to be seen. Harbwr Brewery in Tenby is great at combining Cymraeg and English. Diolch

Amazing place. Lots of woodland to walk around and stretch your legs. Some steps and paths are tad steep but there other easier routes. It has Stunning views and a lovely lake with a small waterfall. Kids loved it, expecially the ducks. Free to visit although there is a £2 charge for parking. Will have to visit the cafe next time. Will definitely be back here again soon.

Penllergare woods is a brilliant place for a walk any time of year. Be it by yourself or with family, friends or man's best friend. There are plenty of routes to take but if your taking a dog please bare in mind the Adders in summer months and other wild life. There is a fairly new Coffee shop/ Park information building with toilets that has popped up. With a lively view of the garden area, it's a great place to watch nature play. Squirrels often come back and forth along with different birds fluttering past. There's a beautiful little waterfall which has a deep enough pool area for people to jump off into. But at your own risk of course. There's so many bits to explore and several different entry routes so you can return again and again exploring different parts. I highly recommend some old shoes as you can go off the beaten track and explore the path of the water round to a lovely bamboo area. There's plenty of space to park up and Lazzets is the perfect place to fuel up after a lovely walk or even before hand. (Check opening times as they are under a refurbishment) Stunning food great price.

A beautiful oasis of green and calm and water on the edge of Swansea. Lots of good trails to follow through the woods and areas to explore. Great for dogs, fun for children. Seek out stepping stones and waterfalls! A wonderful volunteer-run cafe with great cake and coffee! Your purchase in the cafe and payment for parking helps to fund this tranquil gem.

Beautiful place for a walk through woods on both sides of the river and waterfall. Cafe with toilet at the car park. Flower garden as well. Building is being extended currently. Just make sure you are out before the car park gets locked early evening.

Beautiful wooded park with miles of bike trails and footpaths that take you all around the grounds. It's vast, and there are plenty of things to do and see here. Wildlife is everywhere.. so much birdsong 🐦 to enjoy... even ducks and ducklings in the lakes. Herons can be seen here... dragonflies and damselflies feeding on the wing are also visible on warm, sunny days every year. Seating areas are positioned throughout the woods, and there's good picnic areas for the family. Well worth a visit soon for the peace and tranquillity it gives to all visitors. Enjoy 😁

Wonderful woodland space with various different paths to walk along and a waterfall to top it all off. There are multiple access points on different sides of the site for those on foot. Pay-to-park car parking is available with a cafe at the start of the paths. Highly recommend for nature lovers, though this place can get busy on sunny days.

Had a lovely walk around the woodlands. Popular for dog walkers. Very well kept grounds and paths. Spent a few hours exploring all the paths.

Great walk around Penllergaer Woods. Lots of different routes to take, with a mixture of woodland, streams and lakes. Nice little cafe to finish off the walk. Toilets on site too. Looking forward to the new centre being built.

What an amazing hidden gem just off the M4. Stopped in here on our way through to the Gower peninsular. Definitely worth a visit and walk around, took about 2 hours with a lovely cafe on site for drinks and cake afterwards. The waterfalls, river and lake are stunning and worth getting of the main paths onto some of the more wild pathways to fully explore.

Gorgeous woods, so many places and routes to explore. It's not particularly well signposted so we got lost a few times but it was thoroughly enjoyable and absolutely gorgeous spaces and the kids enjoyed it very much.

Fab place to enjoy a walk and even though it was raining during our visit, it was very pleasant with the different varieties of trees, plants and paths to explore. A hidden gem just off the M4. We will return at a different time of year to see it again in another season.

What a lovely find, just minutes away from the M4, it is a wooded paradise. There are a number of paths to take, a higher one where you have views over the valley or a riverside walk to the secret waterfall. I was amazed to see such spectacular scenery so close to hustle and bustle!

Wonderful Nature Reserve with fantastic woodland 🍄🌲🪻 paths (but those could be a bit better maintained because lots of difficulties can cause crossing the river after few days of rainfall). Legendary waterfall 💦 which took major part in creation of world photography can't be missed! But don't forget to take a look around and spot some heritage remains like one of the first astronomical Observatories! 😲

It's a pleasant walk, I am not sure how far it extends but we walked the lake in an hour which cost us £2.50 for parking

I have visited this woods many times with my dogs and there so many tracks and areas to explore. I have also recently had the pleasure to photograph a hand-fasting ceremony here in one of the wooded glades. As a photographer you are spoilt for choice for locations, from the waterfall, rock features, bridges and woodland.

Beautiful walk. Can tell the place is well looked after, dog friendly too! Spent about 2 hours here but we stopped a lot to play in the river, nice route that laps the whole river but there are also detours! Car park closes at 5!! If there was one thing I could change it would be public bins as there wasn't any on the walk itself.

A beautiful woodland walk with many paths to discover. Most of the paths are gravelled, and some earthy trails with bridges and a waterfall. There are toilets available, disabled, and baby changing. Also, a volunteer run cafe with a covered seating area overlooks a gorgeous garden. There seems to be some kind of development going on there at the moment, but it doesn't affect the walk at all. Free entry, but there is a £2 car park fee. Dogs allowed.

Beautiful location (The Mumbles) of these castle ruins. Dog friendly...our furbaby was able to explore the castle walls, towers, Chapel and grounds. Due to parking time limits we were only able to spend 1hr walking the grounds. There is an M&S at the foot of the hill near the entrance to the grounds. Plenty of space to pick up a picnic and just enjoy the beauty.

This is definitely worth a stop if you're visiting Wales. Just say you're students if you're a travelling group so you get a better rate. The castle tour was very informative. It's a relief to see the difference today from how the Welsh had been treated in the past. Long live the king. May he be a good friend of the Welsh.

Such a lovely atmospheric castle with stunning views across the Mumbles bay. Welcomed by the most wonderful and friendly guide. There is a film show at the beginning telling you all the history of this beautiful castle. Well worth a visit.

Haven't been here for about 30 years. Its changed a lot, in that they've added a lot more information on the history of the castle , which is incredibly interesting. The views are outstanding and the staff are super helpful.

We did this last minute and were more than thrilled after! So cool inside. Its way bigger than we thought. It was pretty empty when we went and the staff was super nice

I happened to visit because there was a Princess event on, that I thought would be great for my little 4 year old. Parking was tricky but the castle itself was fab and steeped in history that I had no idea about. My little one thoroughly enjoyed exploring the little nooks and crannies there. I'd definitely visit again.

Beautiful place! When you come in and buy the tickets there is a video played about the history of the castle which is fascinating and most of the areas in the castle are open to the public to view. Don’t make the same mistake as me and wear heels as some of the areas will be hard to get to if you do. Honestly I would really recommend this place as it is truly worth the trip.

Decently presented castle ruins that can be seen in 30-45 minutes, including a 10 minute video of its history, reading the signs/info in many rooms, and getting great views from the walls. There might not be quite as much history or snazzy displays as other Welsh castles, but the workers and signs were helpful. Note: There are some uneven steps to get to some areas. Toilets are outside the premises, and there’s no cafe but they do have small shop with a few snacks, can park in a local city car park several minutes walk away.

Really interesting castle with a long and rich history. The volunteer who welcomed me was really helpful & explained the 'must see' areas & their significance. A video in the visitor centre explains the history of the place and then you can just go off and explore. Amazing views across Swansea Bay from the castle walls. There's even a secret passage way! Well worth the £6 entry fee. There's a small gift shop too & some activities for smaller children.

The staff were incredible really excellent in sharing information and engaging with the little one. Highly recommend a visit. History is great and the views are beautiful x

Very nice castle, prices were good and family tickets are available. There is a little gift shop 2. There is a park surrounding it and the sea/beach can be viewed. My favourite bit is the glass fridge in the middle. Would definitely recommend checking it out if your in town :)

Beautiful grounds with washroom facilities. You can enjoy a picnic on the grass and play games on the field. Lots of benches and shaded areas. The castle and ruins are worth the visit and doesn't cost much. Great bit of history in the center of town. Gorgeous views from the towers.

A perfect visit on a sunny day. It's a old castle, not in a good shape. From top of castle you get the view of mumble piers and the sea. It takes 30 minute to explore the castle. The garden outside is a nice place to take your dog or kids. It has I think 5-6 benches to sit.

Swansea's big park, always something new to see, spring time brings out Daffodils, crocus & the early Magnolia trees.

Fabulous large green space in Swansea that offers opportunity to walk, cycle, view the superb Botanical walled Gardens and just enjoy this lovely parkland. Currently there is a food area at the lower edge of the park by Mumbles road. Coffee can be bought at Swiss cottage If you cross the main road from Singleton park, you will have views of Mumbles Head.

Great first visit to this venue which is a natural auditorium on a grassy slope. Saw Madness. Really good views even from the back. The sound was excellent...no echo or feedback....plenty of toilets, great atmosphere, plenty of food and drink...bit pricey but if you don't want to spend...eat your dinner before you come.

Absolutely lovely park, nice and open with plenty of nature to boot and plenty of room to explore, sit and relax. Not to mention for bird watching! Many interesting birds from Ravens to Thrush! The only problem is during/following downfall there can be some areas which become pooled with water due to insufficient drainage methods

Gorgeous place to walk or run with your dog. Sit and relax in the ornamental gardens. The gardens are exquisite especially the spring tulips. Summer bands too

A big green park full of dog walkers and friendly locals. As a student it is situated perfectly next to the university so when the weather allows for it, I can study anywhere on the park. In the summer it has just the right amount of footfall so it doesn't seem too busy but at the same time you never feel isolated or alone. A wonderful park! If you're lucky you can catch a festival or band playing.

My son and I went to the classic car show on Bank Holiday Monday. Overall, it's a good venue, but we felt that the £6 entry was a little expensive for the limited cars on display.
