Nice place for a walk around plenty of choice for food, drinks and gifts. Boat trips and a go on the big wheel. We went in February not everything was open or opened late or at weekends. Nice walk to Torremolinos along the coast again with plenty of places to eat and drink.

Nice Mediterranean feeling walking through the harbor. Many restaurants to choose between, some of them are either a hit or miss. Expect a little bit higher pricing in general if you plan to eat here, which is understandable as there are many tourists here. There are also many locals who eat here though.

Very vibrant busy marina with lots of bars and restaurants. The prices range from average to expensive which you would expect. There are boat excursions which are very popular. We find parking outside the marina and walking in works best. Fantastic place well worth a visit.

Beautiful marina and one of the biggest I ever saw, with hundreds of pleasure boats, and catamarans, and sailing boats ⛵️ you can take a walk to admire them or visit one of the fashion, and souvenir shops all around the marina. You can do boat trips if you're lucky you will be able to see dolphins 🐬 and you can have something to eat or just a drink in one of many restaurants on site.

Interesting location. A wonderful and beautiful place, oriental architecture, many souvenir shops, cafe and restaurants, an aquarium, a big wheel, free parking in the western part, a large beach nearby.

Visited the marina for the first time today. The weather wasn't brilliant but l found the marina, shops and restaurants were really good. Next time l will visit the Sea Life Centre.

Two hour boat ride to see the dolphins - boat was busy but pleasant and able to sit down comfortably. We were quite away out when the boat slowed down and lots of dolphins could be seen - quite beautiful - had hoped for a sea swim on our return but this didn't happen - not sure why - boat a bit rocky on the sea but seeing the dolphins so close up made it a great trip.

Amazing Hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful, they are also very accommodating with all your needs. Food is brilliant, and tasty with lots of verity. Great place for food, drinks and shopping. Looks great at night time also. Parking available in the center but we parked in Paloma Park, free street parking all around and a car park at the top. Only a 20min walk to the Marina through this lovely park which in itself is worth a few hrs to explore before going to the Marina for an evening meal.

Lovely marina and brilliant boats for seeing the dolphins. We don’t manage to see the dolphins this time round so they have us 50% off to come again. There’s loads of shops and a shopping mall in the marina. A taxi rank too and plenty to see and do. Very beautiful

Beautiful, vibrant place to visit if in Benalmadema. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, including Italian, Asian and Steak Houses. Staff at the bars are welcoming and bring drinks and food to the table, so there is no need to queue at bars. Just sit, wait, and enjoy the surroundings. The only negative is the sheer number of touts selling various items on the streets. They will approach you numerous times, but they are always friendly and nothing to worry about. Just a slight inconvenience.

Always favorite place to spend some time for a walk or just chilling with friends or family. The greenery and all plants in the park are amazing and the environment is very relaxing. It’s a great place to be surrounded by nature and enjoy some fresh air. If you’re planning a picnic, this is the perfect place to spread out your blanket and enjoy a meal in the nature. Just don’t forget to clean after yourself, as we don’t want any evidence of us for the local wildlife! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem, you will thank me later :)

Great park, lots of things to see. We loved seeing the tortoises, goats and birds. I love the green Parakeets! The head sculptures and the cactus park were fabulous

A great little park to explore with the family. There's goats, chickens and rabbits within the park, as well as multiple public gym areas to do some working out. There's a decent sized play park for all ages of children to enjoy, some of it is hilly and some of it is flat. Plenty of public benches to take a break and rest your feet if needed.

A great park with lots of wildlife and farm animals. We had some drinks at a the Auditorium Bar which was nice. Great bamboo and cactus garden and lots of cute rabbits!

Nice park not far from the beach. Has at least 3 places to eat/drink (they even have gluten free beer). Toilets located near cafés. Two playgrounds, one for small children and the other for both younger and old children but the large equipment is more suited for older/bigger children. There is a lake with terrapins in and a cactus garden to walk around. Worth a visit if you want a break from the beach or the pool.

Nice free urban park full of greenery, birds and animals. I was amazed by the parrots living there 🦜 Great place where to “disconnect”, have a long walks. Bring your picnic basket and enjoy a fun time with family and/or friends 🥐🍏 There are also cafes. The ponds (f.e the turtles lived or the one with the ducks) seemed dirty. I hope the animals (rabbit, goats, etc) are well taken care of there.

Been here a few times whilst on holiday in Benalmadena. Its lost its charm a little as you don't see so many chickens etc running about. The park itself is well maintained and lots of areas to sit and enjoy the scenery. We also liked the cacti area. We also had lunch and drinks at the Europa Cafe at the entrance which was good.

Beautiful park with lots of birds to view. Two cafes for a beverage and tapas. Grounds are immaculate and well planned. Three or four fitness stations with very nice fitness equipment. Huge children’s playground! L

Beautiful park, extremely green which was surprising given the heat. We came here of a weekend and noticed it was very popular with families having picnics. There was chickens, rabbits and ducks around the park. It had a lovely lake, lots of birds on it, no boats. Public toilets available and cafe

My family stayed nearby, so we visited hear often in May 2023. It's a big and versatile park with turtles, goats, chickens and of course many pigeons. We saw rats as well, because people feed the pigeons. There are two playgrounds and three cafeterias in the park. My favourite part is the cactus area; all of the cactii are fascinating and some of them are huge! There are toilets, but at least the one next to the cactus area is filthy. The ones at the cafes are much cleaner.

Beautiful park, could spend most of the day here, a couple of places to eat and drink with the grounds or take a picnic and chill in one of the many great areas within the park. A place for kids to play also and plenty of wildlife all over.

Perfect place for an afternoon walk with kids, there is plenty to do for everyone, the playground is well equipped, there is a small restaurant nearby, the cactus garden is pretty fancy, and the area around the lake is full of side activities. The mini zoo has goats and chickens.

Very much enjoyed our visits to this lovely park. Very well maintained with easy walks, cafes, toilet facilities, oodles of shaded benches to relax and enjoy the flora and fauna. Numerous entrance and exit points too. Well worth a visit.

I found the cable car to be an excellent experience, The views from the top are definitely worth seeing. However I found experience to be very expensive, Especially as at the top only one of the three views is accessible with wheelchair or pushchair. The cable car in yourself needs repair, it is very difficult to see outside the windows.

Hugely enjoyable ride up to the top, especially for kids. There’s limited you can do at the top apart from hiking (not ideal with young children) and the birds of prey show, so it may be worth timing your trip up to coincide with the show. The show itself was great. It costs £5 per adult extra but well worth it. Very impressive performance and we would definitely recommend it. Our 2 year old was gripped!

Better to get here by taxi or car. Near is parking lots which you can use. You can pay by card but be careful, two of my cards not worked, third one was ok. Have a cash just in case. Cabin is super small, two adults can sit comfortable. Inside the cabin you can listen story about this in 4 languages, or you can stop it:). On the top is nice view but you must go little bit higher to have 365 view. Enjoy your trip.

We went on a windy summer day this June and it was perfect. There were four of us which was just right for one cable car. The views were breathtaking. The cafe was already closed by the time we finished our hike up the vista point. We took a later time so as not to be too hot. A must see when in the area.

Amazing! you have the feeling that you are climbing the mountains, riding in a taxi))) you are a little scared of the pickup truck, where the car stops)) Was wonderful the feeling of climbing a big mountain over 2500 meters above sea level, if I'm not mistaken, by taxi))). By the time we got to the top, we had stunning views across the coast that beckoned to catch the sun from multiple vantage points. A variety of activities, such as the bird show (which I saw was), horses and authorized for stargazing, because these places open until 11 at night i believe , more In short, a very good experience, especially would be good as a hike! that would be wow!! It is a Must! Love this type of walking!❤️

Loved this. Cable car ride is amazing, it goes over an abandoned theme park, over a motorway and finally up a sheer cliff face. After that you can climb to the top and take photos. Mind your step, some of the rocks can be skippy. Took in the bird show, this was great and a fun way to spend our time at her top. Then it was back down to earth. Awesome half day excursion.

Vertigo, suspense, and breathtaking views come with the cable car. On the 15-minute ride, you get views of the coastline, panoramic views of houses, motorways, and the mountain side as you make the climb. When you reach the top, the views are to die for. The physical climb up the "rocky stairs" gives you multiple views from different sides of the mountain. The falconry gives an additional delight for adults and children alike with a mixture of amazement at the birds of prey's graceful maneuvering. Plenty up here for young and old alike - a worthwhile half day well spent.

Great experience, from the beach you can walk 30 minutes or take the bus 103 to Teleférico. We bought the tickets from a tourist office and was a little cheaper. In 15 minutes you are up and there you have metal stairs up and down. There is a falconry show twice a day, we saw the one at 1 pm (you enter with the cable car ticket).

This is a must when at Costa del Sol. The ride is great, the view is fantastic and you can top it all with a cold beer up there.

Highly recommendable. Comes with a Falcon show as well which is not included in the cablecar ticket ( show costs 5 euros for adults, 3 for kids), shows are always at 1 and 3pm. So, if you have kids, chose your time around the shows since small kids won't be able to walk the interesting but small and somehow tricky pathways around the mountain.

Great 15 minutes ride to the top of the mountain in a cable car, then just a few minutes walk to the very top. Amazing scenery on the way up and even better views at the very top, 360 views. Staff very friendly and help you in and out of the cable cars. Great experience, highly recommend

Perfect way to spend some time away from crowds if you choose one way ticket and take a walk from the mountain top to buenalmadena. It takes about two hours if you choose short path but it is totally worth it Path is not very demanding and you can easily do it if only not in flip flops

Amazing experience! Breathtaking views on a clear day you can see for miles. Reasonably priced. A lot of walking be prepared - suitable shoes - uneven surfaces. Although the cable cars takes you up the mountain, it doesn't fully take you to the top, so it requires a bit more walking. There's a bird of prey display which you pay extra for but it's not expensive. We ate at the cafe on the top of the mountain and we would recommend the pizzas - very nice.

This is an experience just mind your head getting into the cableway as it does not stop for you to get on. Return ticket is advisable. The view alone is as good going up or down. Tip select your language and start the commentary once you are seated otherwise it will be out of sync with your trip. There is a bird show at the top check the times and DO NOT MISS IT 100% WOW see pictures.

We visited out of season, hence no waiting and no problem with buying tickets. So during high season it maybe better to purchase tickets online. There's an option to buy one way ticket, so Cablecar up and walk back down. Beautiful views from the top, a cafe with great food/drink options. Even a falcon show (which we missed). Not wheelchair accessible and reasonable level of mobility/fitness required to climb to all view points.

We have been living in Spain for seventeen years. Every Time we went to Malaga on the highway, we thought we should give the cable car a try. This year we finally managed to go to the top of the mountain and I must say it is seriously spectacular. We did not choose the perfect day, it was a bit misty, but is still a great experience. Do not miss the eagle show on top. Remember to bring cash, as you cannot pay with your card for the show.

Like finding my own little piece of heaven. I was long overdue a break and I only booked the day before I came to Spain. There is nothing to fault and everything to love. It feels totally Spanish, unlike the Costas, and I cannot wait to return.

Great hotel and location and service too. Only problem was a lack of hot water one night which was sorted quickly. One minor problem was the internet reception which was only just ok and kept dropping out. You really need a car if you like going to the coast too.

My recent stay at Hotel Pueblo must be my fifteenth by now….! It is a truly outstanding little hotel run by a team of exceptional professionals - especially Susanne; an outstanding host. 11/10 underplays how good the hotel is. It cannot be bettered; at any price.

The entire hotel is superb. The location could not be better with views out of the front to the local bars and cafes and the back onto a quiet square. The rooms are immaculate and offer everything you could could want. I'd be hard pressed to find a better hotel with the same star rating.

We stayed at the Hotel Pueblo one night. Our room was spotlessly clean and all the little things needed for a comfortable stay were provided. The bed was super comfy, Suzanne and her staff were charming, helpful and efficient. Prices were very reasonable, and the taxi that was ordered for us at 5am for the airport was punctual. I can highly recommend this Hotel.

I travelled alone and stayed 3 days in room nr 3 on the groundfloor with bath and 2 in room nr 10 2nd floor with a shower. Both were at the back and had fantastic views, either on a nice little plaza with a fountain or over the roofs to the sea from a nice terrace. Nothing to be said about the service, the help for luggage, the cleaning or other services. Susanna, the lady owner is the most charming host you can dream of. I certainly will go back there as soon as possible. If you are looking for calm and peace in an authentic andalusian atmosphere close to restaurants, Hôtel Pueblo is THE place you should stay.

We loved this place! Spent most of our time watching the dolphins swimming around but they have a good variety of animals. The canteen had a good choice of food (although we didn’t eat there) and there were a few shows on throughout the day. You can also leave and return the same day if you want to come back for a show etc. Only downside is the crocodile wasn’t on show because they are renovating the exhibit. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

This zoo, primarily focused on water animals, offers a decent experience. While not extraordinary, it's a good option for a quick visit, made more convenient by the free parking available. The small size doesn't detract from the enjoyment, and the highlight is undoubtedly the impressive dolphins' performance. A solid choice for a day out with aquatic wonders.

Cute but small zoo, definitely great for kids with a delightful dolphin show that should not be missed. If possible buy the tickets online as they are cheaper. It is a lovely environment showcasing various animals from around the world of which a few are within an aviary which can be walked through allowing you to get close with a few birds and monkeys. Other animals are housed within clean enclosures allowing everyone to see them easily. There are a few educational talks introducing certain animals throughout the day along with the option to take a picture with a sea lion. Overall however, the dolphin show is what made the price worth it, so I definitely recommend not missing it. Additionally try to avoid the front 4 rows of seats as they are below water level which impedes your view of the performance.

Visit was good. A nice range of animals. Dolphin show was excellent, advise you get seats at show early. We did so but purely by chance and a lot of people were sitting for it early. No taxis available outside but a nice short walk down to the main road by the beach. Also beside a big park if you wanted to spend time in there. Was a little pricey but prices have gone up everywhere so it is to be expected. The park is small when I compare it to others I have been to over the years. Look for discount codes on leaflets etc and buy tickets online

This is a very small park. But most disappointing was paying over €100 for a penguin experience and being told we can feed or touch the penguins just sit on a seat while they are close by. You can take photos only they can take a photo with their camera and to get it you must buy it from the shop at the end. As a photographer I wasn’t expecting much but the photos were absolutely terrible but felt the need to buy so we could show our friends we got to see the penguins up close.

Spent about two hours here and had no wait entering as it is off season. Many more animals than anticipated which made it enjoyable. Dolphin shows are at 12:00, 14:00 and 17:00 (April 2022). I would plan to get here between 1-2 hours before or after the shows so that you don’t have to wait around like we did. Probably the best dolphin show we have seen, just a shame it only lasted 15 minutes, we would have liked to see more. Sit towards the back if you don’t want to get splashed. Tickets are a bit pricey at €24 but if you consider the welfare, care and variety of the animals it is understandable. Tickets can be brought on the Selwo marina website in advanced to save money. You can also pay extra for animal experiences or photographs. Several ice cream stalls / American food areas. A nice half a day out!

Not as many animals as you would like for the entry price, but definitely worth it if you get a combined with the cable car or other park. The dolphin shows are the highlight and it's worth seeing more than one. Food and drinks inside are expensive. Talks are worth going to but the sound is terrible - very difficult to hear. Very clean and well kept and the animals are definitely well cared for.

The staff are really knowledgeable about the animals and try and put across the perspective of the animal in question. We did the seal and dolphin encounter and sometimes they don’t do a command and they can’t be forced which is absolutely fine. The physicality of the animals are healthy (visually) and they very much tell people about the environment and to stop throwing rubbish onto the floor/the ocean and seas. It’s a smaller sized area but the main point is care for the animals not for our entertainment. The pod of dolphins also seem content with one another and with their trainers which is very important.

We visited selwo marina today. Mainly to see the penguins! We found it very interesting, so the animals seem well looked after and it looked very clean. It’s not a very big place and we were there about 2 hours. As a disabled person I got my carer in free but you have to prove your disability. I did this with my blue badge that I thankfully had in the car but just be aware. I’m not sure what other roof they accept but me doing in a wheelchair wasn’t proof enough. The penguins were amazing.

Lots to see and do and the shows were very interesting. I thought 30€ for 2 photos with the dolphin was actually reasonable. All the staff were super friendly and informative. It’s quite small is the only thing so you can get round and do it all quite quick. Works out cheaper if you buy multiple excursions at once. My girls loved it, lots of animals to see

Fairly small ZOO, you have to time your visit right. The exhibitions themselves are nothing special, certainly not worth the ticket price. But twice a day you get a series of shows (or "educational talks") which are exactly what you wanna see. You can learn something about penguins, then walk amongst the monkeys, then see parrots up close, and end it all with a dolphin show. Then and only then it's really worth the visit.

Lovely day out. You get to sit back and watch the dolphins dart round and play with balls. Penguins flapping and diving around, there's a wide range of things to see here. Prices are reasonable and there's places to eat. Well worth the trip.

A nice small animal park located in the city of Benalmadena. The dolphin show was their main attraction. Kids enjoy this place seeing different kinds of birds and marine animals like sea lion, dolphins. And if you are here, don't forget to take a walk of this city, it's a beautiful cute little city.

Great experience visiting the park. Super hot day, but worth it. The dolphins presentation was super cool. The penguins area was a bit crowded after the presentation under the sun of dolphins due to the heat. Nice birds and reptiles. Better arrive early in the morning when it's opening.

A wonderful place. I recommend visiting it! I arrived with bus 121 and I left with number 126. Both get you close to butterflies. From many species of butterflies, to multicolored fish, a baby kangaroo, turtles and two birds, a parrot and another bird. But what delights you the most are the reproductive stages of butterflies and the fact that they fly by you. A butterfly even landed on my finger, it was a unique feeling. If I have the opportunity to come again in this life, I will definitely come back with love!

We had a lovely time exploring this place. We got the taxi up to this venue and saw a beautiful Thai-inspired palace overlooking a Buddha shrine which was just glorious in itself. We booked our tickets online and went inside the place and it was very humid and warm. If you're looking to browse then you're fine but if you like me and like to take pictures then you should be warned that phones can overheat. I didn't know that until I was on there and my phone kept overheating! But plenty of butterflies and wonderful scenery. I kept repeating my route over and over because there was always something new to spot, it was so exciting and some of the butterflies I hadn't seen before. It was such a nice experience and I would happily go again. All had great wheelchair accessibility except for the stairs with the butterflies but you're not missing out on much so you're fine. Many thanks for a great time, definitely something to remember.

The Butterfly Park was an amazing place to spend time at. With its beautiful butterflies and pleasant atmosphere, both adults and children will enjoy it. We spent a delightful approximately half an hour admiring the colorful butterfly wings. However, we had a pleasant surprise when we discovered a small kangaroo on the premises. It was a fantastic experience that we will definitely repeat. The Butterfly Park is an ideal choice for a family outing.

Just beautiful. The air is filled with butterflies, brushing your skin as they flutter past you. The tropical planting is vibrant and extremely well-maintained. The colours are dazzling and the whole place feels magical. It's educational but also tranquil: I felt calm but at the same time dizzy with the wonder of it all. If I had not visited here I would have missed out on a truly wonderful experience. I could have stayed there all day with butterflies whizzing around my head. I won't forget it.

Such a beautiful hidden gem! I bought tickets online for this place as a birthday surprise for my partner due to his sentimental connection to butterflies. The customer service was so lovely, warm and welcoming. The butterfly experience was very special with so many different types of exotic butterflies flying around, it is incredibly peaceful and a beautiful place to visit.

The atmosphere was right on! Calming music, butterflies flying by and had a buddy that landed on my shoulder for most of the walk. He was so cozy that he went for a nap. I recommend this place for being more than just a butterfly farm, with impressive rare species, but also having a few more friendly animals which are not kept in cages - they are just hanging around and quite friendly!

There were a lot of butterflies 🦋 everywhere! All kinds and they would get very close to you. They also have a wallaby and some birds and small turtles. The place is quite big for a butterfly room. There is a small waterfall and a coy pond. It is very humid inside, so be careful if you have any health issues. Overall it was a fun experience for €12 per person. Small gift shop on the premises, toilets and a cafe.

The caregivers are very professional and committed, explained everything very nicely. Bought the tickets online but still had to get in the line to go in, their QR scanner doesn't work... No soap and paper in the WC

Arrived at 10:30am on Saturday almost as soon as it opened. Already people inside but no wait! They give you a paper with the different butterflies to find so you can see which ones you saw. A guide will do a presentation every hour, when inside you will hear a bell meaning it started. I spent a good 30minutes exploring. It’s a small place but so much to see!

Definitely worth of visiting! Very well designed- super harmony of flora and fauna. Lot of butterflies, well maintained garden, fishes in the pond, super friendly kangaroo, tropical birds. Loved it! After every now and then they make short information speak about the butterflies, it was very interesting. Stuff super friendly and helpful.

Stunning little hidden gem. Small in size but filled with butterflies, a wallaby, tortoise, tiny fish pond and a couple of birds. My 2.5 year old absolutely loved it and was thrilled by all the fluttering and the eye spy sheet she was given to spot the different butterflies with. She talked about it for the next days wanting to go back.

Lovely couple of hours set in beautiful tropical house, nature running free how it should be, interesting talk on butterflies in Spanish and English. Nice activity sheets given to children to find all the different types of butterflies along the path. Under 30 Euros for 3 Adults one child so we'll worth it. My kids are 20 and 11 they loved it.

Smaller than expected however it was a fantastic experience. We got a train from malaga central and then a €8 taxi up (got bus back down). Beautiful butterflies everywhere, a pond with fish and even a wallaby. We saw a butterfly emerge from its cocoon too! Definitely recommend. so

A really lovely place to visit. Staff genuinely care for and are knowledgeable about the animals they look after. A holiday visit here is well worth it. We traveled there by public bus and had no trouble at all.

The employees were helpful by answering any questions. They were knowledgeable and also very protective of the safety of the plants and animals, which I appreciate. We were concerned about the kangaroo, but one of the ladies told us his story of rescue and reassured us of his safety and wellness. A beautiful place. 🦋

A fantastic experience and well worth the 12€ entry! The animals (3 tortoises and a little marsupial - a rescue) were very well taken care of and there were signs forbidding people from touching them as they did roam freely in the garden area. The staff were really kind and helpful and you could really see they cared about the animals and butterflies. Special thanks to the girl working there that gave a talk about the life cycle of butterflies, with a little blue bird on her shoulder! She was really kind and informative!

Outstanding. Exceeds expectations and done up very well. Staff on site very approachable and knowledgeable. The butterflies and gardens are beautiful. The added birds and wallabee were an unexpected surprise. The hatchery was an unforgettable experience. A must see if you are in the area.

Could spend hours here just watching them flying around. There are birds and? .Just spend a morning or 3 hours relaxing here. I could see no reason to purchase tickets in advance but there could be a queue at other times. Check in advance.

I do appreciate caring for our environment. Butterflies from tropical countries. Beautiful orchids and plants. Humid environment. If you. Are patient and watchful you will discover countless types of butterflies and if you are lucky one or two may want to play with you (which was my case 😀)

Had a wonderful time here with very young children who were mesmerised by the butterflies and birds. It's not very big in size, but it is most certainly packed with life and fun for the little ones. Nice gift shop and good little café with very accessible parking right outside. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for an indoor activity with kids.

You will definitely find peace and relaxation in this butterfly park. It's amazing how many different ones there are. You will also be able to watch the whole process of how they are born.

We had a fantastic trip to the Sealife centre. My daughter particularly enjoyed the hands-on experience. Natalia was very knowledgeable and reassuring when encouraging my 7year old to stroke sea cucumbers, star fish and anemones. The centre was situated in an easy to find location. It had clear signage, friendly staff and a plethora of exciting animals to observe. If we are back in that region of Spain again we would certainly visit again.

It's a nice place to go in Benalmádena if you don't have anything else. Family activity and there are many kind of fish. My favorite, the shark tank. It will be more impressive for kids than adults and at the end it made me think if it is a good idea to keep those poor fish in a fishbowl. Buy tickets at least one day before to get a better price.

Nice aquarium but highly overpriced. For that much money it's content is too small. The most interesting animals to see are sting rays, small sharks and a sea turtle. However, I was really surprised to see a sea horse for the first time in my life. But still not worth paying 17.5 euro per person, even for a 4 year old kid.

A wonderful place to spend a rainy day. It's not big, but there are some really fascinating sea creatures, that our son is remembering now back in Finland. Staff were very friendly. I give five stars, because we left with a smiling face.

It was fab and super kid friendly! Able to safely touch some of the animals and look at a wide variety, in fun interactive ways. It wasn’t expensive and the gift shop was so fun and reasonable priced. Staff were lovely, we had pablo/Carmen. So so lovely here

Absolutely amazing place for children ! Place is located at the Benalmádena Marina with plenty of restaurants around and also has a restaurant located within ( it was closed when we were leaving due to being late ) its a great family day out in the seaside and surrounding area. If your close by its definitely worth the fee!

Great location, nice variety of aquatic life. Not a huge aquarium, which is nice because we had other places to see. Great place for all ages. We are happy we took the time to visit the aquarium as we then explored the area it was in. Fun marina, lots of restaurants and shopping.

Absolutely fantastic!! Highly recommend it's a must see. staff are very friendly especially Carlos!! Really friendly and informative told us all the times when the sharks and otters get fed and the best places to see it.

Good exhibits and teaming with life and colour for my little boy of 5 to enjoy games and other fun activities to do throughout the walk round the touching pools were open but he never got to take part even though there wasn't anyone around them. The two members of staff were too busy chatting to each other to spend time with my little boy and show him what we had paid for. I did enjoy the experience but as this cost quite a lot I would have liked the staff to have been a little more forthcoming with information on the displays.

Visited the park on my day trip visit to Benalmadena last March and it was something new to me as i never visited a sea park before . Many sea species with detailed information next to each and not only. Good if you have kids with you as so they can go around and explore . Friendly staff too !

A spectacular visit to a beautiful aquarium, you can see a big variety of fishes, sharks and sea flora up close. And you can even touch some of them! They are working on a second floor right now and i hope to revisit when its open. They have feeding shows with otters, sharks and other animals from the aquarium. I want to specially thanks to Sandra for showing us cool facts about sea stars and sharks and both to Carmen and Laura for aswering our questions and his kindness, very great staff!

Lovely place. Took an age to get in because of slow lift and that was the only entrance we could see. It was very crowded. Many people just leaving their kids buggies anywhere. Accident waiting to happen 😕 other than all that. It was lovely

Excellent experience for adults and kids. Lots to see and lots of valuable information on the conservation efforts in the area. Always well run and staff are super. There was a wheel to spin at the end in the gift shop where kids get a free treat! Also highly rate the food and drink in the cafe with the playground right beside for kids to play during your visit.

Very small, takes about 20 minutes to go through when you drag your time.And overpriced (for cheaper price go to nearby tour guide shop, you will pay €14 instead of normal price of €22. Very neglected and in disrepair. Couple of tanks leaking and almost half of them empty..

It's a lovely place to visit. It can be a bit cramped inside if it's busy. The Night Sea experience is extra, but we didn't see anything to say you had to pay extra until we went to go inside, when we were asked to go back down and purchase extra tickets. There's a lovely beach just outside, and then there's the marina with assorted bars restaurants and shops, as well as a dilapidated paddle steamer.

Nice little attraction. Well laid out. Working lifts. Nice cafe and reasonably baby changing units. We went on a weekday in the middle of November, and the weather was 28 degrees, so it was nice to get some shade. It wasn't overly busy, perfect amount of people.

This place is absolutely worth visiting (despite the fact that the exhibition is short, in my opinion). Watching sea life was amazing. I especially like the focus on resource saving and careful attitude towards sea and sea life

The reception told us it will take about 1 hour inside for the tour but it tooks only 30 minutes. They offer us a guided tour but this was not something for us. We have been in many equarium before but the types we ve seen here didnt see anywhere else. Look at the photos.

Very nice and interesting place to spend a couple of hours. The place is good located and the staff is very attentive, specially Sandra as she was explaining the kids about the species they could touch. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a MUST see. OK you may not be into fish but walk 'Inside' their world. Place your hand on a shark (it is on the other side). Watch an octopus climb and swim inches from you. The turtle swims around you. Just wow. Yes that green thing is alive looks just like the 'grass'. My 2 year old granddaughter did not want to leave OH find the otters!

€3 entry fees, you can pay by cash or cards/Apple Pay. It’s a very Beautiful monument and there is also parking. We went from Málaga by train then you can walk a little up the hill or take a bus or taxi. There is a beautiful garden with a view of the sea. The most important thing is that you can walk almost anywhere inside the monument. We visited in early December 2022, it’s still nice weather compared to London 😂

Even though I have my own opinions on Christopher Columbus, I gotta admit the architecture of this monument is beautiful. There is so much attention to detail, and the whole area available to roam, even though smaller than I expected, is packed full of detail and information about individual parts of the architecture. This is a must if you are in Benalmadena, for the price (3€ for adults), it is definitely worth it.

A must see when near Málaga! It is definitely worth a visit. You can buy tickets directly there and there was one couple in front of us. The entrance fee is € 3.00 and it is so worth. There are 16 QR codes where you can read about the whole monument. The monument is dedicated to Christoph Columbus and built by Dr. Martín in the 1980s and 90s with only two other workers. There is a little coffee shop next to it and it sells the best coffee ever! All in all I can highly recommend visiting this place, such an amazing experience and every stone is made unique.

Amazing architecture and so imaginative. Never visited before as hadn’t heard of it. But it was beautiful. €5 entrance. Parked nearby but not the big one where you have people charging you. Just up the road a bit. Empty !

A place I've been wanting to visit for so long.. And my expectations were proven. At the entrance you can buy a ticket which costs 3 euro ( in my opinion its cheap ,usually entrances in Spain are 5+ euro),the lady asks where are you from and next she gives you a printed paper with information about the place in your language. I've been genuinely surprised by this in a good way . Totally loved it. And then you enter and everything is just stunning.. if you like castle architecture or you just want to do some nice pictures I highly recommend 👌 There are free toilets and a coffee bar also.

Enjoyable walk for I would suggest no more than a hour. The site itself is small and has no catering facilities apart from a vending machine. It has two outside toilets that were maintained well and free wi-fi throughout the site. The building itself is beautiful you will take many photographs. It is quite far too walk to on a big hill so I would advise against getting public transport as it doesn't stop best the site. I would recommend

Opens at 10am, 3 euro entry, it's well worth it! Spectacular Monument. It gets very busy, be good if they could restrict the number of people they allow in at one time as its very difficult to get photos and see around due to the crowds but 100% recommend going to see it.

For only 3€ you get to see lovely castles. You even get a little paper with explanations about what you get to see and these are available in many languages. For only 3€ you just can't go wrong with stopping by during your hike in this beautiful region.

Colomares Monument is a stunning structure dedicated to Christopher Columbus and his voyages. It captivated us with its architecture and rich symbolism. Beautiful sculptures and reliefs depicting Columbus's life add a special charm. The gardens and fountains, along with the view of the coastline, are breathtaking. Exploring the monument and taking photographs were enjoyable. Informational plaques and guides provided interesting historical insights. We highly recommend Colomares to anyone interested in history, architecture, and a beautiful experience.

Very authentic monument, pretty small, but you can spend around an hour or two by admiring it there. You will receive a guide on paper when entering, we got one in CZ language but it was not very explanatory, more like using an online translator without the text about what we see, just what it is. There is a small coffee place where you can sit and enjoy the view. Very beautiful place.

It’s an interesting place tucked away in Benalmádena. Much smaller than I expected from pictures. Interesting, I’m glad it had a story to follow (by scanning QR codes) about Christopher Columbus and about this monument being built. It’s intricate and beautiful as a work of art. Beautiful views of the sea. I’m glad we went since we live about 20 minutes away, but I’m not sure I’d tell anyone to go out of their way to get here. It was worth the 3€ and about 45 minutes that we spent there. There’s a nice little bar area with drinks (maybe food?) to sit and chat when the weather is nice. We went on a Thursday and it wasn’t crowded at all, we parked just before the entrance in a gravel lot. If you happen to be nearby, it’s worth a stop.

Definitely worth the journey although very steep hills to get here, so maybe walking isn't the best option. Absolute bargain to get in and explore, fantastic history behind it all. The accommodations for linguistic differences are a welcoming and inviting touch. Worthwhile visiting here for sure.

We went here during the off-season in December. It was not busy at all, which was nice. I don't know if I would've enjoyed it much in summer when it is probably swarming with tourists, since the area and castle are not super big. You can pretty much see it all in 30/40 minutes. But it helped that there weren't loads of people walking around when I was there, because don't you hate it when you wanna take a nice building photo and there are like 20 strangers standing in front of your photo?! ;) Well you get my point I suppose. It's a nice replica to see, there is a lot of nice detail to see in the castle. If you're in the area and have an hour or so to spare, go check it out :)

Cheap and unique sightseeing. Pretty small territory. Nice free guide on the entrance with many available languages. Nice view on the sea, However, all inner part of the movement is not allowed to enter. Why? It would be the best part of the experience.

Wow cannot believe I have had a property on this coast for 19 years and never been here . Stunning place , not well advertised enough in my opinion and they could make more of it by selling drinks and snacks. Only costs 3 euros to get in, and it's worth it for the stunning architecture. This is the place to just kill an hour, not worth a full day, but worth a visit

An astonishing small castle with a one of a kind architecture; it has a very interesting history and idea behind it. Entrance is 3€ for adults, 2€ for kids. We came by train from Malaga and from the station by foot but one can reach the castle directly with the car as there are some parking spaces right at the entrance, free of charge. In the castle yard one cand also find a bar and toiletts.

This is literally the most beautiful castle /monument I have ever seen in my life 😍 What a beautiful place! Every single details, every angle, the seaview... This is just amazing. If you re in the area, it worth the visit!

Very impressed & cannot understand why this place isn't advertised or signposted more. One man's tribute to 500 years of Christopher Colombus. A bit of walk down ( and back up) from the 103 bus stop la mimosa. €2 entry for seniors. Plenty of information at several points inside using QR codes. Absolute delight for kids. Very well maintained with modern clean toilets & cafe bar that had shaded seating. Closed on Mondays Car parking available

Been meaning to stop here for a while, it stands out like an out of this world place, and it surely delivers. Fun to visit with kids, and it's hard to leave without taking a million pictures from all angles, we were likely the last ones out that day.

Colomares Monument is quite an interesting tourist location. Locals like to take photo sessions here. A very beautiful monument, which was built on a rock. A wonderful view opens from here Entrance costs 3 euros. Parking is free, but unfortunately not very big.

Knowing the context of its history is making you appreciating the monument as it is, as a one man-project. Eclectic and kitch, and you can actually only visit it from exterior with pretty limited access to its terraces and nothing to its interior. For the view, some photos, and low entry fee, may worth a visit. Check on opening hours!

A peaceful place of worship where everyone regardless of their religion or colour are welcome. We went for the Diwali celebrations and it was fabulous to see people of different ethnicity coming together to acknowledge a religious festival

Such a uniquely architectural structure, it comes to be one of the symbols of Benalmádena Costa. It is beautiful during the day, but at sunset it's when I believe it shines the most.

An obnoxious monument used to lure tourists into making them think that there is any form of respect or reverence towards Muslim Andalusi culture and tradition . A place build to look as a Muslim palace or mosque ,where in reality there is hardly any place for Muslims to pray in this area,especially for tourists like myself. I literally rushed to this building hoping I will find a peaceful place to mediate and pray. To realise it was a place for entertainment and that's about all. To make it even more disgusting,the municipality has placed a nude statue in a small park just meters away from this centre. This is a clear representation of how the local authorities fail to understand cultural sensitivities and fail to cater for a growing Muslim population that help the city grow and contribute to the local economy and its heritage. I have visited Malaga several times through the years and I must say very little progress has been made. There are very little places to worship and mediate in peace and more and more pubs and clubs. I have literally seen a British tourist ,excuse me , relieving himself in a public green space . Is this the type of tourists you are looking to attract? And then you wonder why the local citizens have become increasingly distressed at the disrespect shown by some of the visitors.

Really good show. Nice selection of birds, It was educational, interesting and passes an hour at the top of the cable car! Only thing is it's hot.... Only one little bit of shade, which is understandable as everything is happening above you! Stand in the white house if you have small kids. But it's hot!

Excellent experience, once you have braved the cable car ride to get there. The mountains allow the handlers to show the birds in their natural habitat, and the display was amazing.

I really loved the show with eagles and other birds! The price was fantastic and so was the show. (I have been there two times.) I recommend taking a hat and SPF50 as there is no shade during the show.

Within the price of the cable car ticket you have access to an amazing bird show. Was very impressed with the amount of birds shown and their abilities. The trainers speak both Spanish and English. The birds come very close in flight and even walk on people's heads. So if you are afraid of birds sit to the left

Don’t be fooled that getting the cable car includes even seeing the birds of prey. Two staff members began shouting at us in Spanish over this misunderstanding and aggressively ushering us out. We were informed that this was included, yet evidently not.

Great activity in a stunning location. The array of birds and the professional handling was very impressive. The audience was allowed to interact with the birds with the keepers supervision. The show was funny and informative and a great opportunity to see these wonderful creatures. Would highly recommend. The show is not included in the cable car fee, it is extra ( but worth it).

Absolutely brilliant display is well worth the 5 euro entry. You should be aware that the entry to the eagles is not part of the cost of the cable car.

Went here with my mum and they thought it was a good idea to let out a griffon vulture who we were told was aggressive due to his female recently laying an egg. Why would you ever think it would then be a good idea to put him in the show? Not blaming the bird at all as it’s in his nature to be territorial, but instead the man running the show for thinking it was clever to leave him open to the audience with the state he was in. Even though my mum was sat still and wasn’t doing anything to the bird, he decided to dart towards her and started to aggressively attack her which resulted in her ending up with a bruised and cut back and arm. I would think if the attack was on a child or elderly person the outcome would’ve been even worse. It’s a shame they value money over safety of their audience.

That is a great show to see. It is a very unique experience. We enjoyed watching the different kind of birds engaged in this show. Never seen something like that before. Much recommended. The show starts at 01.00 pm and you can reach top of the mountain using the cable car.

Very interesting and entertaining show

Very nice view! We loved it, at the bottom is a nice cafe with some fast food, The hikes up is uphill and tiring, however, we managed perfectly fine walking it with sandals. It is worth your time and there are two trails to take!

This is a beautiful little Eden. The beach has nice sand, and it's an intimate size. The service in the beach bar is friendly and efficient (if you're not nude, they don't serve). I would say that the last section of steps from the public steps is an uneven and high, slightly dangerous; they couldn't meet modern building standards. There are some trip hazards too (decorative stones) that your flip-flops can trip on around the area, especially right at the bar, so be careful. The bar and kitchen are well suited to the whole vibe of the people visit. The beer is cold, and the food is delicious. But I will return here as much as possible because it's beautiful.

We spent 4 glorious days on this 100% naturist beach cove last year and have been back many times since…the atmosphere is absolutely fabulous with a great mix of couples young and old ….But the highlight is the so special beach bar / restaurant….Our waiter was fabulous, he was so friendly and helpful and always so pleased to see us….the food is spectacular and we ate there everyday….we thought it was very reasonably priced for the excellent quality offered….there is a main menu and also a special’s board of fresh seafood dishes which are so yummy…with all the good food and drink this place gets really busy….the atmosphere is fantastic…and we’ll be back again and again…you must try this place…you will not be disappointed…Stunning….Absolutely Stunning….

wow what a gem of a beach. Food is high quality, delicious and reasonable prices. you can take drinks onto the beach as its a little cove beach. everyone is respectful. Great place to catch an all over tan.

Great sandy beach and clear water, nicest nude beach I’ve been to. Lots of different ages and people were super respectful. the facilities were pretty good with an outdoor shower, and picnic benches. The bathrooms were kind of dirty but other wise the space is lovely and very well manicured.

Very crowded tiny space. Good thing is that they have all necessary amenities like showers toilets bar (serving naturists only so don't cry if they tell you no because you're wearing your Speedos). Can't complain about it but not coming back there

This is a little gold mine of a place. We visit here as many times as possible during our holiday to Spain. We love the open atmosphere. The bar/restaurant is fabulous, it has always served great food, but now offers more than previous times we've been and has more tables for sit down. Some days can be exceptionally busy for a table to eat, but that is fine you can wait or reserve a table if need be. A fantastic place.

Ten years later and we still visit a couple of times each year.. First visit since lockdown and its still clean friendly and safe. Only wish Ima was still there... she always played awesome tunes and remembered us on each visit.

The staff especially the main guy were super friendly and helpful. He provided excellent guidance on the food choice. All the food provided was excellent and reasonably priced. A great location right on the beach too. We highly recommend trying this Chiringuito. Well done team ... we will definitely return on our next visit to Torrequebrada x

A place where you can be natural and free without being oogled or mage to feel unwelcome. All body types and ages (18+) are welcome and the white sand beach is very relaxing. Parking is a challenge if you don't come early and the beach did fill up rather fast starting around noon

Having travelled worldwide, I really know of no other place to be so relaxed and at peace with the world ☺️ But - I will say, prices for food at the chiringuito have risen really sharply this year... So bring your own!

We've been a few times when staying in Benalmadena and Carihuela, we mainly go off season October/Feb, certainly warm enough for us from the UK to sunbathe. Frequented by locals and tourists alike, cannot comment on the bar/food as it isn't open off season. Mixture of ages and tan depth, i'd suggest maybe 65% over 50, the rest between 30 and 50. Don't hesitate, it isn't straight or gay, both are there but it is nudist so muck in.

But lovely to swim as you can see fish in the water and the sea warms during the day Bar is lovely, food, drink and service all good and reasonably priced Be warned though this is a 100% nude beach (bar included) and clothing won’t be tolerated I’m afraid Easy to get to as well 100% I’m going back as I loved it

A lovely sandy beach. Boards to walk over the hot sand. The beach is well appointed, it has toilets, first aid / medical, showers, sun loungers at reasonable cost and is never crowded. Other resorts could learn a lot from how it's done here. First Class 🥇🥇🥇🥇👍👍👍👍

Nice beach, good location. It is, however, a very stoney and shingley and does hurt your feet, I wear swim shoes to help. The water for the showers was all turned off, so unable to clean feet, which was very difficult with an autistic child and sand stuck to them.

Sea is shallow, sand is soft and golden, views amazing. Toilets close by and plentybof cafes, bars and shops close by. Even in 4 Dec, it was warm enough to spend a few hours there. Lovely.

Amazing stretch of beach where you can enjoy sunbathing, inflatable toys, restaurants,bars ,swimming or just take a stroll.It gives you an amazing panaramic view down the coast,it also can be very dangerous. The tide comes in very fast and the waves very high.Amazing to see but dangerous unless you're a strong swimmer.
