Very interesting, fun and unique place to hike or spend the day. Parking is 45Tl, entrance is 16Tl for adults. Just a bit after you enter, you will find a picnic and rest area where there’s food and drinks (meals, corn, ice cream, doughnuts, coffee/tea…)… lots of tables and benches in the water… and they also either sell or rent rubber shoes for the canyon (renting one pair is 60Tl). Honestly, we hiked the canyon barefoot and really enjoyed it, it wasn’t painful or unpleasant for us… but most people either rented/bought water shoes or wore street shoes. The water in the canyon is not deep, maximum knee height, otherwise barely any water (in summer). The water at the picnic area is absolutely ice cold because of fresh strong streams coming in. People have fun or bathe in the ice water, it’s exhilarating! Once you pass the turbulent cold water (there’s a rope to hold on to), then everything is calm and the water is warm. The canyon is about 1.5km… after that they recommend to go further only with a guide. Guides are waiting at the 1.5km point. I don’t know how much it is. At the very entrance of the park they offer free hard hats/helmets… most people don’t use one but you can if you want. The canyon gets more and more narrow and interesting as you go. The way back is the same way you go. It’s cool enough inside the canyon in summer, and I didn’t wear a hat or sunglasses. I recommend to put your phone in a waterproof case and to have a backpack. Have a swimsuit and towel too for the cold water bathing. We stayed there a while, maybe 4hrs… to sit and enjoy and also took many photos inside the canyon. I really recommend seeing this place it’s refreshing change from the beach and summer heat!

This is a deep canyon. You are walking over the suspension bridge to a water source. You can drink water from where the water comes out. A nice place to cool off on hot summer days. After that, you cross the river and start walking in the canyon. Be sure to have shoes suitable for walking in water. It is difficult to pass some places in the canyon. After a certain point, do not walk without professional support.

Great experience walking up the gorge to the waterfall. 40TL admission per person plus 50TL car park. Silicone shoes available for 150TL per pair. They are better than nothing but ideally wear some trainers that you can get wet and muddy. We were in a group with two guides who knew where to cross the water safely. 10 EUR per person and I recommend them. Pay at end of tour. Cash only and no ATMs here.

Beautiful spot, would be a nice walk but the water was high. Walking the board walk you can get to spot that has some seating was very nice. I believe that the cost was around 13 TL. We would recommend stopping as the gorge is incredibly beautiful. 3btraveler

Great fun. Don't bring a decent camera if you want to walk in the gorge. I went as far as the water coming up to my waist and then I turned back as didn't want my camera gear getting wet. Would love to repeat in a pair of old trainers. Don't even attempt in flip flops, either buy or rent the jelly shoes they have there. Great fun and beautiful scenery.

Great place to visit if you enjoy more active experiences. Definitely get yourself silicone socks/shoes which are being sold before the entrance and avoid colours. The clay itself can stain so wear black or older clothes. An experience to be remembered! Recommend it!

A very unique and enjoyable experience. Definitely needs to be on the bucket list of anyone visiting Turkey. Walking through the canyons is a surreal and humbling experience. Trust me when I say that no amount of pictures ever do justice to the magnanimity of the place. Go ahead and experience it for yourself! There are some great eateries at the entrance of the park. The souvenir shops are beautiful and have some really unique items not overly priced. If you are adventurous then you can even enjoy a 5km river rafting experience

It's extremely interesting place with amazing views. Water is quite cold, it's better to go in a sunny warm day.) Pay attention that most of the road is covered by dirty water- it's better to buy or to take special watershoes. And don't be afraid of the guide- he will definitely make you trip more comfortable and safe. Price is 18 lira for entrance, 50 lira for boots and 150 lira for guide per person( at least that's what we were asked to pay)

We went as a party of nine as part of a safari excursion. It was exhilarating, exciting and a bit of an adventure. When the water is high as it was after a couple of days of rain it is difficult to keep your feet in places. The water can be very powerful and extremely cold, crystal clear in places and literally like a mud bath in others. Take a spare set of clothes because you are going to get soaked, you will also need strong beach/water shoes or something sensible that won't come off your feet in the water. You can actually hire or buy these on site if you prefer. Prepare to get wet and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

As a place its beautiful the naturalspringwateris very cold and refreshing, the entrance is 23tl per person which is reasonable. The only thing that drove me crazy are the prices inside, 15 tl for a cub of tea is toooo much , 50 tl for a corn is just crazy. Plus you have to pay 50tl to park the car is also too expensive. It was a great experience for me , but they have to lower the prices, its just a rip off😤

This is a beautiful place to go. My advice is to get there first thing and you need to wear surf shoes, def not flip flops. It prob takes a good couple of hours to walk as far as you can in, then sit by the river and watch the people go down on rubber rings with a cool drink.

It was a very fun but dangerous adventure walking through the canyon. If you wanted to get to the canyon, you’d had to walk down in a very, extremely cold cascading water, running down from some slippery rocks. Once down you have to walk a bit through the canyon to get to the waterfall. Which was cool. However, to get to the actual waterfalls you needed a guide. an expensive one who decided, depending where you are from, how much you should pay. He told us we needed to pay €10,- per person (300 TL per person). We passed.

I would definitely recommend this place. The views are stunning, and they make you feel so small. 😅 the walk trail is pretty long itself, but if that's not enough, you could take an instructor and go further getting a bit of rock climbing experience. Just keep in mind- the price that the instructor gives you is never the last price... 😏😉

Our visit to Saklikent National Park was awesome! Even in the off-season, the folks there were incredibly friendly. They went the extra mile by providing us with river shoes, making it possible for us to explore the canyon in December. Kudos to the team for making our experience so enjoyable and accommodating! The only "chill" part was the water – super, super, super cold! But it definitely added an adventurous twist to the experience. 🥳

This is amazing place must vist from Fethiye. You trek in water which just above knee level so wear shorts and rubber shoes important to walk comfortably on stones. You can have mud bath for free

Excellent way to spend the afternoon, walking along the wall pathway into the Gorge/Canyon. It's an easy stroll, but being in the water. 🤔. ice cold and slippery boulders should you want to cross over to walk further into the canyon.Nice place to relax and chill out.The area around the Gorge has your usual trinket stalls, restaurant's,and some very nice chill out areas also, where you can loung around in the water.

Take an extra pair of shoes like coral shoes that you can walk in water. 99% you don't need a guide here - it's a straightforward canyon. Come as early as you can to avoid crowds. Nice walk.

Amazing experience we came here on a jeep safari trip we did zip lining and walked the canyon.

Walking through the cold water on the floor of the gorge felt so good. Not a strenuous hike with only 2 places were a help to climb upon. It's not dangerous, so hiring a guide is pointless. The waterfall is the same. Nice little restaurants choose wisely for value for money. Many activities for hire. Definitely worth a visit before 0930 or after 3pm to avoid the tour buses

A good beach but it's charged most of the time. We went there and to sit they charge around 30 TL. Not bad for those who feel to pay and enjoy. I came here with my family/sisters. We enjoyed the food on the beach which was reasonably cheap. Not bad for the beach

Nice beach with lots of activities. This place must to welcoming for public instead it's very commercial. Everywhere there are chairs to rent. Instead there should be more spaces for families to sit and relax with families. Stunning views though.

Located within few km from Fetiye city center this beach is such a nice place. Newly renovated beach walk promenade with small hotels and private accomodations has nice stretch of small stone / dark sand beach with umbrellas that you can rent for 30TL / day. It can be easy reached by dolmuş or local buses. Very easy access to the sea. No rocks or drops. Clean and as of Jun 2021 not crowded. Changing rooms available, some spots also showers, family friendly. Lots of food options , refreshments and small shops. This beach is popular by UK expat community so English is widely spoken as well. Beautiful sunsets. Street dogs are present a lot. They are harmless.

What's not to like 300 sunny days per year.

Disappointing. Pebbly stoney beach with little in the way of sand. Uncomfortable under foot and not a beach on which to stroll. Red flags and a boom make me wonder what's out there! Scrubby scruffy area. I'll not be back.

Beautiful beach. A lot to do and very nice restaurants to eat from. If you want to do more activities you can book to do them from the beach easily. You can also buy a lot of souvenirs to take back home for good prices too.

Çalış Beach offers stunning views and a plethora of restaurant options. However, the absence of sand and the dirty sea water were disappointing.

This is very beautiful beach to go watch the sunset. My friends and I went around 5pm and wasn’t possible to swim because it was very windy and super wavy. You can’t really walk barefoot for long because of the rocks, people leaving trash around the shore which is sad. All the cigarette buds, some broken bottle glass, sharp things 😓 Other than that you can take minibus from Fethiye to Calis Pilaji for 13TL and walk on a boardwalk. The boardwalk has nice restaurants and shops. Definitely worth going it! 😁

Southern portion of the beach is rocky but has a ice boardwalk with testurants snd shops. After the boardwalk ends up north thebeach gets sandy and there are resturants on the beach, good place to watch the sunset with more privacy than the boardwalk area and better with small kids.

Long beach with great views of the mountains. Casual laid back vibe. Easy to get to via water taxi or dolmus from Fethiye city centre. Many restaurants. Huge problem for me is the trash on the beach. Littered with cigarette butts, bottles and left over picnic rubbish which makes it very disappointing. Could be a great beach

Cheap so that’s great! But I’d rather pay more money for comfort! The room had mould encrusted around it, there was lack of lighting, there was a random mattress on the floor folded over in front of the tv to resemble a sofa. The floors was black with dirt! There were cob webs on the walls, warnings of cleaning fees on the notice board yet the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The water was freezing cold. The only positive was that it was in a good location but the place looked like a slum!

I stayed here on my second visit to Turkey and I liked it very much. It has a great location and access to everywhere.

Room has to be renovated, but what the main I didn’t personally like is the room size which seems very tiny even for two people. Car parking is simply impossible while high season, so be ready for 10–15 mins walk from the nearest.

Great location with lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. The street is not too noisy though. Fethiye Harbour is also very close being a 5 min walk. About an hour from Dalaman airport. Ideal for short or longer term stays. Our studio room consisted of lounge /diner, kitchenette, large bedroom, shower room. WiFi & air con are included in the price. There are no lifts in the building so not suitable for wheelchair users.

Very nice and clean place. Value for money. Cons: No one will be at reception to serve, need to wait or call to speak with them. Staff helped me to do early check in but they kept promised to keep gas and dishes in room but they never did so.

Really good location, great suites ! The apartments are in really good spot, about 5 mins from Marina. Very clean and well appointed - kitchen is a real bonus , LCD TV as well. The location is absolutely perfect, you can do anything walking and be in the city center and various nice areas in 5-10 minutes and it's close to many stations. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Best place to stay in Fethiye. Hotel is located in the centre with easy access to all restaurants, bars and beach clubs. The owner Mr. Murat is also very helpful and friendly. 5 🌟 from my wife and me.

One of the most beautiful places to visit while you are in Fethiye, Butterfly Valley can be reached by boat trip or by road. The beauty of nature is amazing; The mountains surrounding the valley with the beautiful blue sky and the clear blue water in its different shades form a very amazing painting! There is no need to enter Butterfly Valley if you are not there during the month of March because you will not find any butterfly there! The entrance price to Butterfly Valley is 10 Turkish lira.

An hour visit to the valley should do it during the hot days of summer. Unless you’re planning to visit and camp there during spring time (should be a better experience). We’ve only come across a handful of butterflies (3 or 4 to be precise) when we visited the valley in July. The so called waterfall was very weak too at this time of the year. The beach is nice although can very touristic and crowded with visitors coming in groups onboard commercial tours during summer time. I reckon it must be more interesting to visit in Spring.

Great place for a hardcore hiking 🤪. In February 2022 it was possible to go down and up by foot (trail starts at George’s House). The trail can be challenging. You need to be in a good physical condition and wear comfortable trekking shoes. It will be definitely a bad idea to go it you feel uncomfortable at heights. Take cash with you, it’s obligatory to pay 10 tl. Downstairs you can find an open cafe, it was open even in winter, and they accept cards. Balik ekmek is delicious.

It is a must-see place if you visit Fethiye. You can reach there either hiking or boat there are no cars. It has an amazing view with a lovely beach. I slept one night there in a tent with my partner and it was a fascinating experience.

One of the best natural landscapes ever, it has beautiful beaches and blue lagoon, its the best spot for paragliding in the world. And also diving for fishing with a weapon, kayaking and many other sea activities are availble their.

Expected it to be more beautiful than this. The view from up is incomparable, much more clearer and quieter. You should definitely see it from up, specially on summer. If you want to see the valley and to take pictures, I suggest you drive up to Faralya, where you will see the valley much better. We arrived afternoon at the valley, and it was so hot, didn't feel any breeze. You can pay 15 TL to walk and see the waterfall, but in the summer there is no water 😂, don't even think about it. The beach is crowded and the shops are overpriced.

Beautiful place, nice and relaxing, full of natural beauty. Unfortunately we didn't see butterflies as they only appear in may but it was still very nice experience. If you follow the path you will experience breath taking views and after about 40 min walk you will find a small waterfall. Very nice place but only recommend private tour very late afternoon as during the day this beautiful place gets spoiled by noisy boats full of tourist who don't respect beauty of this place.

What can I say about this place except that it is magical and the following pictures speak for themselves. Visit this valley and definitely stay for several days, only then will you understand what I mean!

Great place to visit in Fethiye, you can’t access walking, you can only access by sea

This place is a hidden gem. We took the water taxi to come see the butterfly valley which cost us 300TL per person return so we could properly enjoy and explore the place without a time schedule. The ticket gives you access to everything including the sunbeds and access to the path to the waterfall (which would normally cost 15TL per person as it’s a natural reserve). It’s an amazing and really beautiful place. The walk up the waterfall is a treck and I recommend good shoes to climb the rocks up the mountain. If you come on tour with the pirate boat, i would advise you stay by the beach because I don’t think you would have enough time to go up the waterfall, enjoy and return. I witnessed people running after their boat because they departed without them. It took us 20-30 minutes to walk up there. The place is very busy in the morning with all the pirate tour boats until 12:30, 13:00 o’clock when they leave. Then it’s quieter with a fair amount of people until 15:00 15:30 in the afternoon when more pirate boats arrive. All and all we really enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend visiting this place if you are in Oludeniz.

Fresh fish for dinner, why not. But the one you ate may not be the one you picked. Ours doesn't taste great when it was brought out and we were disappointed that it was not hot off the grill. There is no display of how much it costs to grill or cook fish by the restaurant. They charged per person 150 tl for grilling each type. So ask for the price of cooking it beforehand!!

Stopped over in fish market near Paspatur Carsisi by chance on return to Antalya from Olu Deniz. Decided to go for fresh fish lunch where you literally select the fish/seafood you desire and its cooked fresh for your consumption. The prawns in chilli, garlic butter sauce was so tender with a spicy twist - absolutely awesome. Selection of anchovies, red mullet, sultan fishes fried in thin crispy batter was equally great. The large seabass grilled and with same sauce as prawns was large and shared between two. Superb! Awesome meal all in all.

Great food, good service..if you are a tourists expect the fish market to charge twice the locals price. I got told red mullet $50 per kilo I spoke English, my husband who is Turkish went over and spoke Turkish and was charged $25 a kilo..

Fishmongers are very helpful explaining the process and also provide recommendations for serving each type of fish. We bought our rock seabass, shrimp and mussels from Balikcilik and had it sent to Cem Can who prepared it perfectly. Price worked out at 900tl for fish and 550tl for the restaurant. Most enjoyable.

Fresh fish at reasonable prices. You buy it in a small market and then, they cook it for you in one of the restaurants arround. However, all the process is not very transparent. They try to sell you more than what’s needed for a meal and they randomly adjust the prices. Cooking costs TRY 100 per person and will try to sell you salads and other in the restaurants.

Interesting concept. Buy fish from any fish stalls and have it delivered (cut and cleaned) and cooked to your liking at any of the restaurants among many in the cosy setting offering a variety of their own preparations. Festive ambience, friendly people, moderate pricing. A must go place, when visiting Fethiye.

A unique experience where you pick your fish, then take it to the restaurant. We went to the small fresh fish kiosk to buy fish and were happy w the cost of a nice sized sea bass for 2 people 😀 Then had it cooked at Balikçinin Yeri w the yellow chairs

You buy fresh from the local fishermen and pay them directly. Then you direct the restaurants to cook what you bought. Restaurants charge 35TL to 45TL per person to prepare the food. Each restaurant has its own salads, breads and sides that you can add. Worth the visist.

Great atmosphere. Buy your fish from Market stalls then choose you restaurant and they cook it for you. We had red mullet....barbun.....very good.

You have to try this place if you're in the area! You won't be disappointed. Choose your fresh fish. Take a seat and order your Meze. Then it's all cooked to your tastes and served in an amazing setting! Loved it. Fish was around £20 (6 huge shrimps, octopus, salmon, crab - Meze was around £15. You won't be disappointed 👍

Don't usually leave 1 star reviews but we did just experience the highest priced yet worst dinner of our whole 2 month holiday. The fish market guys clearly rip off tourists. Wasn't sure/comfortable with haggling the price, so paid 1700 Liras for some prawns, mussels and salmon for two people. Then the restaurant is very frantic which wouldn't be a problem if the kitchen nailed it.. Unfortunately they over cook the hell out of everything, making it all tasteless. Not recommended 😵‍💫

Very nice experience , surely to be done . You seat at the restaurant, you buy the fish in one of the fish shop are there and the restaurant cook it for you . Very nice ambient, crowded but not too much and with group of musicians playing and singing traditional Turkish music. Magic atmosphere. We spent for a Sea bream of 1,25 kg , 260 TL + around 200 to have it cooked . We eat a lot of other things and we spent in total around 1000 TL

Amazing place. It is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen in Turkey. Amazing view from the top of castle. During August is very hot and humid. You need a car and make sure your car is not cheap economical saving gas. You drive through hills and up and down. You need a strong rental car. I rent Audi A series. Local farmers sell some small places of their fresh products and fruit. #tlos

Stunning view and impressive tombs and ruins. There were a few informative signs, but not enough, and the fences, entrance areas, toilets, and general infrastructure need upgrading. Free entrance with museum card.

It's worth the visit at 60TL. It's interesting to see the ruins, tombs, and surrounding areas. Stunning 360° views especially of the snow-capped mountains. Parking is along the street, not designated, so if you see a safe spot, pull over. The little cafe or juice bar sells freshly squeezed orange or pomegranate or a combination of both, which was refreshing. There are toilets on the grounds which were clean.

Tlos ancient city, ruins of ancient tombs, baths, stadium and theater. Not as attractive as Patara ancient city but if you are around the place, better to see. Entrance fee is 12TL or free for those who hold museum card. Walking isn't easy for visitors so not good for old, disabled and young people.

It is an impressive place without a doubt, the theater is well preserved but the tour around the ruins does not take more than 30 minutes. You can quickly reach the top where the flag is, the view is wonderful. If you like history you will like this place.

Great place for people interested in ancient history. You can see quite a bit of the place without paying the entrance fee, but the fee is only 60 TL per person (around 2€ in today's money) anyways. We travelled here from Fethiye in about 35 mins by car. Recommended.

Absolutely relaxing place, nice view, wasnt crowded. You can buy ticket at the entrance highly recommended to have cash on you for. For us took about 2hours to walk around explore and make pictures at Castle, bath agora and theatre ruins. Toilet was available ant entrance, no parking lot, so you can park wherever you find place for.

It looks impressive at first glance. But in fact there is not much to look at. In fact, you can only climb the stairs to the columns and portal carved into the rock. There is an entrance to a very small room. And that's it. There is no extensive network of crossings or corridors. There is no access to other parts either.

Great location by the skirts of Akdag. Mountain views on one side, overlooking Esen plains on the other. One of the most impotant Lycian city. Nice stadion and rock tombs.

This ancient city with his acropolis is an eye catcher. If you are in Fethiye or in Kas it’s worth the trip. Truly a must see. It’s a climb so wear at least sneakers.

Extensive ruins of Tlos ancient city (with several layers from different eras) with a spectacular hill top position. Much was out of bounds when we visited for restoration/repair, but the amphitheatre and stadion were still visible, as were the many tombs dotted about. It's hilly and the terrain is rough, and not perhaps for the less mobile. But even from the road or a short walk in, there is a good sense of what might was a major city. We arrived at around 6pm, so there were few people around; we didn't have time to explore fully, so just walked into the areas off the main road (not via the main entrance, where I believe a small fee is payable).

I absolutely recommend! The restauration has only started so you can explore the ruins yourself. No strict paths, no railings. Just feel the energy of the past :)

We were heading home from YakaPark, when we saw the ruins. We really did not expect to see such beautiful and impressive ruins here. We walked around and explored everything there, it didn't take more than an hour. Also, you can easily reach the top of the castle, where the flag is, It is an impressive place without a doubt. Not to mention, the view is very breathtaking If you like history and exploring old cities, you will like this place. Worth the drive!

Absolutely stunning archaeological site. We visited the ruins as part of an excursion, and I spent our time there in in awe. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area

We drove past the ruins, and unfortunately didn't have the option to visit in any depth, although to catch a couple of photographs. We were told that the area is a combination of fortress and ancient town; with some burial locations that were a major part of the Lycian culture started some 4,000 years ago. It was absorbed in turn by the Persian Empire, and the Roman Empire. The ruins look incredibly substantial, covering a massive area; as you may see from the photographs, the main part of the Acropolis is on the hill, with remains of buildings including an amphitheatre in the foreground, a distance of over a kilometre. Subsequently, it's been suggested that a series of earthquakes caused a lot of damage to the buildings; and eventually for the site to be abandoned. I believe that the ruins are part of a national programme of historical sites, but are not currently open to the public. It would be worth checking if this changes; I would certainly like to visit it in more detail.

60 TL per person. Some of the area is accessible for free. You need around 1 hour to see the whole place.

Old town clothing in Fethiye is a place where they try to scam you on the prices. Ask how much things cost first and negotiate as well. Please know that they see foreigners and beef up the prices a lot. Don’t be surprised if they charge you 1,000 Turkish lira for a t-shirt. Be careful when shopping there.

The location itself isn't the problem, it's the stores that are all trying to milk tourists for their hard earned money. We attended this place on three different occasions, all in the hopes that maybe we could find what we were looking for and on each occasion we were let down by nasty sales tactics and store owners quoting one price to one person, then another price to others. My partner whom came across like a tourist, caught a store owner lying, increasing the price of an item when asked again, when only minutes ago the store owners wife gave us a completely different price. This place is fine for a walk-through, but trust me, you won't find anything in this place that you can't find elsewhere for a fraction of the price. This place is purely a tourist trap.

Most of the guys who work/own the fake clothes shops are the most rudest people one would ever meet. The old town is a nice place with lots of shops etc just out side there is a fish market which we did go in but was was harassed constantly so you couldn’t look around, so I just left and ate elsewhere.

They are not good sellers and people, do not buy anything from them. When we had problem with our order and wanted to return it back they behaved agressive and rude. Do not waste your money with this overpriced fake products.If you really crave to buy them, bargain to the half of the price.

We thought that these tombs were very interesting as worth visiting, the cost is 5TL. They are not very far from downtown an easy walk. We do recommend seeing as they are unusual. 3btraveler

It’s great to see so many ancient tombs that are still standing in Turkey. It’s definitely worth a visit. The cost to visit this was less than few euros. It’s not difficult to reach here and there are only a few stairs that you need to climb. Once you reach the top, The views from top are amazing! A must visit when in Fethiye area to see some ancient sites!

A must-see while in the area. Easy to access by foot path for able bodied but not special needs accessible. If needed, a wheel chair or elderly person can have a nice viewpoint from the road but can not go up. It's still worth seeing either way! Also, they cleaned the graffiti after many years, and it looks pristine again!

Very amazing place, recommend having a guide so that you know where you are going, what is that place etc. Learning history whilst experiencing physically is something this extraordinary place offers. Great muzzle house for those visiting with children, only make them understand tripping hazards.

Fethiye is an amizing district, you will fall in love at first glance, Amyntas is a Nice historical place formed in 350BC, which is 2750 year old, very good location, Entry ticket was 3 Euro if you on the top. Town will developed with all options you need including Hotels, Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Markets, Banks etc etc.

Got a chill vibe to it. There's nothing up there and u can get the most of it without paying for the tickets. At April 2022 each foreigner had to pay 12.5 TL to enter. But the view of city from up there is nice.

This region's unique geography contributed to its isolation from other ancient civilisations, leading to a distinct Lycian culture. Had to make 2 visits to go up to the tomb, was really nice to get up close and worth the return. Supposed to be open from 0830 but not staff until around 0900.

Got here on our electric bikes we hired. You have to go off onto the little back streets but well worth it!!! Only afew tombs but you get soaked up in the history of them. There is steep hill climb if anyone has mobility issues..

I think it makes no sense to buy tickets for 40 lira when there are the same tombs nearby. The place is historical and very important, was glad to visit here. But there is no infrastructure here, no public transport stops, parking or toilets, not even a shop to buy water. In general, I recommend to see, but be prepared for these cons.

Beautiful private beach, located at The Blue Lagoon. Visit Billy’s Beach most times I’m in the Olu Deniz/Fethiye area. Views are phenomenal & staff are generally lovely. Visited twice this week - once for free and once on May 1st which is the start of the season. I queried the 400TL entrance fee as this seems higher(at £10) than usual - was told this is typical. I noted other guests receiving a 100TL refund, however, I was not offered the same. Having said that, I usually have a great experience here. 400TL for an hour on a pedalo, watching the turtles swimming in the lagoon & diving into the middle to cool off - great value for money. 400TL for entry to the beach - not such great value for money.

Service was terrible, despite Turkey taking theft seriously I had 2 employees as well as a local approach me at my beach chair of whom I suspected could have taken my sunglasses which were on the side table amd where likely taken when I stood to go to the restroom. I asked the manager to please check security footage as I was certain I left my glasses on my side table. The manager never reached out and an employee texted me that their security cameras did not work. To my surprise later that evening I learned of another fellow traveler that had too lost her sun glasses that evening at this location. To top it off i was charged for a drink I did not order and when I told the employee he simply said it was too late since he had already ran my card. Can't recommend this location as there are so many other options that may give you more peace of mind. Last thing you want when taking some time to relax at a beach is have to be weary of your belongings and safety.

Great beach front in the blue lagoon. The food we had was cooked perfectly and very tasty, friendly and helpful staff, good service too. Prices of the food and drinks are well priced. We will definitely be back again soon.

First year we've gone to Billy's beach but it won't be the last,went a total of 6 times in a fortnight, brilliant driver on the free bus, picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back off, can't wait for next June,safe swimming good loungers, altogether great

Absolutely love the place, I rented a pedalo seen some sea turtles 🐢 . Its 75 🇹🇷 lira to get in but u get access to everything and a sunbed and parasol. They have a big restaurant with a massive choice of food, free WiFi and the drinks are quite strong. 5* all day long. The service and staff was brilliant.

Bbq night was amazing. Transport from our Hotel to the beach. Food was freshly cooked and delicious. Plenty of it and vegetarian options available. Entertainment was outstanding. Singer... fantastic voice Acrobatics just blew me away Magician and his assistant. Belly dancer, great and so much fun. Audience participation. Fire dancer Disco. Staff very attentive. Truly a great evening and would 100% do it again.

Good position to visit the lagoon and a good price BUT, the food and drink was a complete rip off hence the 3 stars. If the prices of the bottled water had been less extortionate we would have visited many more times.

Fantastic place. They offer a free transfer from your hotel just phone then up or ask at your hotel reception. The beach is clean and spacious located at the lagoon. Sunbeds are 12.5 tl each and there are two large sun lounge beds with pillows which are great. Restaurant and bar staff is friendly and food is good. They accept dollars, euros and British pounds. No Wi-Fi unfortunately as it's very expensive in Turkey. You can feed fish in the see and we saw some turtles! I'd love to visit to this place again and would recommend to anyone.

We arrived late afternoon after a visit to Saklikent Gorge, so there were few people there; the 'waterfall' is quite small and part of a cafe/trout farm. It's a pretty setting with lots of cool shade, several big ponds with fish of various sizes, snacks, beer, wine and other soft/alcoholic drinks. Very friendly service. The ponds do attract biting insects, so bring spray if you tend to get bitten. A nice place to stop for a rest and refreshment in the heat of the day.

A nice place with huge fishes in the pond, lots of streams, an (artificial) waterfall, swings, instagrammable spots. I liked it way more than the other crowded places up the hill. This restaurant is part of the nature and of the village. At least, that's what it seemed at the end of the season. It was part of my trip to Tlos. Going there just for the sake of Yakapark makes no sense, there's hundreds of restaurants on streams in Turkey.

Great place for a bite to eat. You can tickle a fish - the fish are swimmimg around the bar area and you are encouraged to see if you can catch one with your hands. This place is place of natural beauty. If you have the inclination there is a game where if you can stay under the cold waterfall for a certain period of time you get a free drink or meal. All in all a great place to experience.

Beautiful little place to go for an hour or so. Def before or after lunch as coach loads of people will go. Great plunge pool, beautiful water fall and well sticked bar where you can tickle fish.

Came late in the season. Staff was nice, but not very flexible. Food was fine. Place felt a little run down, perhaps because we came after a rain storm. Quite a ways off the beaten path.

There are mountain roads along the way, which is very difficult to drive. The park does not require tickets, there is only a small waterfall, and there is nothing to do except eat. It is not recommended to bring small babies there. There are steps and you can't push the pram.

Do NOT go in the hot summer days!! 🥵🥵🥵 Took us about 10 minutes to find the way. Dont start walking where the start sign is, rather continue by car on the baved road till the "Lycian way" sign. The road is barely shaded and in a hot day, you will find it very hard to finish. We didn't even walk third of the road and turned back. We got to a point where you can see the view, took pictures and turned back to the car. If you are willing to walk it in a hot summer day, make sure to have enough water and hats.

Some tips after hiking the first part of the Lycian way from Ölüdeniz to Faralya: - The first part of the trail from the famous sign near the Montana pine resort and the mountain village in karaağaç is around 6km uphill. Not dangerous, but demanding. Plan more time because you will need to take breaks. Don’t make too many pictures of Ölüdeniz beach in the beginning, because you will face better panorama views on the way. - The second part from karaağaç to Faralya/ Butterfly Valley mostly leads downhill. It has some great Mountain views but is far less spectacular than the first one. If you already feel exhausted you might call a taxi and just drive downwards. The trail anyway mostly is on the road down to Faralya. - Way signs are sometimes barely visible, watch out for red and white stripes (see picture) and sometimes arrows painted on the stones. Some crossings are unclear, have a downloaded map on your phone with you to check your direction if required. - You don’t really want to do the first part in hot and sunny weather, ideally choose a cloudy day and don’t rely on weather forecasts, they are very inprecise here in Fethiye. - My endurance level is a bit above average and I needed 2 litres of water for the entire trail. Be aware there are no facilities before karaağaç, so I recommend to take 1,5 litres water per person with you. The total trail took me 6 hours with many small breaks uphill and half an hour lunch break in Halil’s Cafe in karaağaç (very pure and recommendable family-run place, Gözleme only 60TL, you can buy fresh water and juice here) - I encountered goats, lizards and a turtle on the way, but no stray or Shepard dogs. Also didn’t see any other humans on the way up, I recommend to have a phone and power bank with you to be able to connect in case of emergency. The mobile network is mostly working with some outages on the way. - There are Dolmus taxi buses running all the time from Faralya back to Ölüdeniz during the day, just catch one on the street when you finished the trail (28TL per person).

Very nice hiking trip here. About 40 minute walk up and down one way. It is worth taking good shoes, the road is good but rocky. We managed the trolley but the crossing of the waterfall was a bit crazy

We start from Lycian Way Oludeniz to Butterfly Valley. It took 7 hours with stops. We went back by taxi. Fascinating views, sometimes heavy climbs.

We hked from Oludeniz to (almost) Kas. We got a ride the last 10kms as my son was feeling sick. Trail is tough. Many loose rocks and dangerous drop-offs. But the scenery and small towns along the way make it all worthwhile.

This trail is epic! I only walked 4km from the Olu Deniz starting point. It was 50m from our hotel at Montana Pine (also highly recommend!). It's a hard climb and trainers / walking shoes are a must, but the views of Olu Deniz Bay are stunning and well worth the effort. I would have gone further but the heat beat me.

View is spectacular. Keep right at the gate and follow the road until you can see the markings for the Lycian way. The first 2km are an easy walk after that the way gets more challenging, narrow and steeper. I would definitely recommend warring good shows. There are some nice spots on the way where you can rest and enjoy the view.

Cost: 20 TL Per Person is enforced whether or not you're actually renting out their seats and umbrellas. This is very expensive and they need to understand that making it expensive to enter makes me less likely to spend inside which is exactly what happened. They charge 20TL for children 12 and older. So heads up on that too. Hygiene: They have decently clean bathrooms. We did not see any showers which was unfortunate. The seats were decent. Food: They have food and drinks. Beers are 20 TL. Dishes with meat are around 30 TL. Tea is 3.50 TL. The prices are high but not crazy high. They work with a card system. So you load money in the beginning and pay with that card. They said they return the unused money when you exit. We did not buy anything so I can't report back on any more than that. The beach: Rocky beach with beautiful clear and warm water. Other options: if you have your own car there are similar places you can probably go to without having to pay per person. I would say most places will cost 25 TL to park your car and not take per person fees so this is quite a bit more than what most places cost.

Love this beach , just sometimes a bit overcrowded and the music is a bit to loud. But the service,the restaurant and most importsnt,the swimming,is good.

Came here on the 7th Of August 2022 it was an amazing experience me and the family loved it. It is very child friendly the food and refreshments were sensational with a wide array of choices. The staff were fast and friendly making me and the family feel at home. This will be the place me and my family visit every time we come to Fethiye could not recommend it enough. Too expensive and you can’t even bring your own food or chairs to the beach. If they were a little more flexible on some of these rules, they could get more visitors to the beach who actually do rent the chaise longues and spend money on food. The huts are a great idea, but I know that in many countries, use of a hut is free with the purchase of food or beverages. Don’t waste your money, there are plenty of less expensive options around the region.
