Commuter train from København H, (Copenhagen Central Station) is every 20 minutes and only takes 35 minutes to reach Malmö central station. Just bought tickets from station costs around £11 day return. Very comfortable train journey with great views.

A very good and useful thing for Sweden and Denmark. You can get from Malmo to Copenhagen by train in 40 minutes. You can see the sea and windmills when crossing the bridge.

What else to say than that the Øresund-bridge is the best way to get to Sweden? Smooth and majestic ride across the strait, never experienced any delaying traffic or similar. This Christmas, when storm Pia was visiting the region, the bridge was closed for a few hours, but my feeling is it is rather flexible when it comes to opening in different weather conditions.

I had my flight from Gothenburg to Koppenhagen, but a friend of mine suggested I take the train and experience the Øresund Bridge. Also escape the nonsense of going hours early to airport and paying exorbitant rates for taxi. Did take the train. Unfortunately it got delayed and I was disappointed. But my disappointment was balanced by the ride over Øresund Bridge. A mini Golden Gate, except that in this case it connects 2 countries Sweden and Denmark. Truly an inspiring experience with all the respect to the engineers who designed and built it. Sharing some pics for others to appreciate it. But nothing like experiencing it.

What a stunning bridge. If you go from Sweden to Denmark you have to cross the bridge. Plan that there is a fee in the bridge. You can buy combo tickets if you also take a ferry to Germany or elsewhere back. Also buy an online pass or just go there and pay at a service station and get the Maut right there. It’s 55€ so far. You can not walk or bike over the bridge. But the view is stunning crossing it from both sides. Worth going to Sweden by car.

Beutiful cozy cobblestone square in the Old Town part of Malmo. Full of restaurants and cafes for a nice break.

The steakhouse is located in the city center. The steak was juicy and perfectly prepared. Vegetables, sauce and fries are included in the price, and the price itself is extremely favorable for the city center, especially considering that it is Sweden. Unlike the food, the service was not that good. It was pointed out at the entrance that we should wait for the waiter to seat us at the table, but no one appeared for a long time. In the end, the waiter seated us at a table in the sun, although there were plenty of tables in the shade, but at our request we were moved to the shade.

Old Town hall square with pebble streets , many cafes and restaurants and nice shops. Perfect for a coffee or lunch.

Excellent location. The cheese burgers was good, the vegan burger not so much. The bun was awful. OK attentive staff, heating outdoors works great. Given the location is very good, lots of tourists in the summer, as always these places have food that is over priced.

Established in the 16th century, Lilla Torg is a small but very beautiful medieval Square, that is located about 230 metres from Town Hall. Paved with cobblestones and surrounded with pretty wooden houses, there are boutique Shops, Restaurants and outdoor Cafés within the Square. Emitting irresistible charms of yesteryear, it is understandable a hot tourist attraction. One photo attached.

A nice and cozy courtyard dining area. The service was decent and the food quite good. I had the fish n chips, which came relatively fast. The presentation felt a bit cheap, served on a metal with the food in a paper wrapping. There was however plenty of food.

Tourist trap, the food was completely overpriced, the steaks were dry, even though we asked for medium, and not at all tender, and for some weird reason tasted sweet, the garlic butter tasted of close to nothing. The fries were not bad, but they were clearly just something put in the frier out of a bag. For 550 sek for a steak with fries and a glass of the house wine i had expected much more.

I spent an evening there where the dinner doubled as a jaw workout; the food was tougher than my last gym session. The restroom? Let's just say I've encountered public toilets with a cleaner bill of health – a rare feat, indeed. It wasn't the worst dinner of my life, but in terms of value for money, it was a letdown of epic proportions. That cash could have been spent on far superior experiences.

During my recent visit to Steakhouse Lilla Torg, I encountered several disappointing aspects that significantly impacted my dining experience. Right from the start the visit was off to a rocky start when the staff seated us at a table, only to be approached shortly after by other guests who informed us that it was their table. This mix-up resulted in us being reseated by another staff member, setting a tone of disorganization for the evening. The culinary flexibility at this establishment could have been much better, particularly regarding how their dishes, especially the Entrecote, were prepared. I was taken aback when informed that they could only cook it using rapeseed oil, with no alternatives like butter or olive oil available. This restriction was a first for me at a steakhouse and significantly detracted from the dining experience I had anticipated. Not using seed oils for cooking is something more and more people are starting to realize and learn how bad it is for our health and how very inflammatory it is. Furthermore, the service timing could have been more satisfactory. The wait for our meal to be served was unreasonably long, which suggested a lack of preparation or insufficient staffing. This inefficiency contributed to a less enjoyable meal experience and indicated areas requiring urgent management attention. Given these experiences, it's challenging to recommend this Steakhouse to others. Despite the potentially inviting ambiance, the initial seating confusion, limited culinary options, and prolonged wait times overshadowed the potential for a pleasant dining experience. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for the restaurant to make necessary improvements. Until noticeable changes are made, I will consider other dining venues in Malmö.

Even though Sweden is a costlier destination, but one can expect value for money. I have also visited the restaurant reading the reviews on internet, but big NO. Taste, Service, Customer friendlyness all below average. Burger patty was having rotten taste. Steak was not cooked property. We paid for 3 almost 200 Euro. Which doesn't fall to the service and quality. Nothing to recommend. And in the name of vegetables sides with Steak, you will get some fried vegetables, which I believe from weeks. For sure not fresh vegetables.

Great looking building however it's so far away. Recommend you hire a segway or bike to get here. There is no access into the building as it's a residential building. There is a gallery and cafe nearby, which talks about the building but has no views or anything. Personally do not think it's worth th effort to go here.

The Turning Turso is Malmö's city identifier which can be seen from far away. It is located in the northern part of Malmö, close to the shore. The tower is located in a beautiful and trending part of Malmö, which is partly still under construction. To visit the tower I recommend to use the TT Galleria parking from Lidl, right next to the tower. Parking is free for one hour however be advised that for additional hours the parking payment system is confusing (the machines didn't work).

This tower building of the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava has been inaugurated in 2005. For now, it is the tallest building in whole Scandinavia. It is twisted around its axis for 90 degrees - as the underlying sculpture 'twisting torso'. There are bureaus and apartments within the building. A great example of modern architecture.

One of the most impressive buildings I have seen in my life. The breathtaking shape emulates the backbone of a person. Make sure you look at the building from the sea, but more important from the main road side where you can see the turning metal framework. Take the time to go to the boardwalk and enjoy the views of the Malmö bridge and the brave sea.

Is one of the tourist attractions here in Malmö. If you're into modern architecture you may love this area. For people like me lovers of the old good buildings it's still a nice contrast to see. You can't go into the building but it is a nice experience. Just use comfortable shoes in Malmö you walk a lot 😊🌈🙌

Visited Turning Torso whilst completing a circular walk from Malmö's city centre around the lighthouses, harbour, Ribersborgsstranden beach, before heading back into the city centre past the castle. The twisted structure dominates the skyline across Malmö and almost acts as a beacon for the city. I understand that 54 storey building was the tallest in Sweden until recently and it's certainly taller than anything else in the area. We couldn't visit the viewing platform when we visited but this is something that is possible. Definitely worth seeing whilst in Malmö.

Easy to purchase tickets, fun to see the top floor and observe out. They have multiple telescopes for specific viewing which is nice to look at the bridge. Served with coffee and a cookie. Informative short film to learn about the holding and architecture.

Worth visiting the beach lookout and have a view of turning Torso. You have a nice walk way near the beach and a park too. I visited the place in Winter ❄️ You might find better spots to relax on days in late Spring and early Summer.

Magnificent. I love tall buildings and this one is a truly dizzying site whose top dissapears into low lying clouds above. Despite the windy, rainy, and cold weather, the site was spectacular to look at. The twisting design of the building is truly a work of art, and it's visible from all over the city. I was in awe of the stunning views from the top, and I hear the architecture inside is just as impressive. The residential apartments, offices, and conference rooms are all designed with the utmost attention to detail. The Turning Torso is a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Malmö, and I highly recommend adding it to your itinerary.

The park is beautiful and easy to walk through. Nice wide paths. Don't miss the community gardens just south of the castle, it was my favorite part of our day trip to Sweden and the thing I think of most from our trip!

Kings park is magnificent & atmospheric. It's a historic & beautiful English style city park with a cast iron fountain, windmill, bridges, lakes, botanical garden, a cafe in a greenhouse, & a castle in the end. Walk a little further & you will run into a beach. Oldest park in Malmo (built in 1800s). We spent most of the day here as a retreat & thoroughly enjoyed it.

A great place for walking, running, birdwatching or even celebrating a picnic (specially in summer). Not many modern cities in the world can presume of such beautiful and forest-like parks in the middle of the city; For me, they are one of the best things of living in Malmö.

Nice large park close to the Malmö center. The park has really much to offer - river, lakes, fountains, benches or place on the ground just to chill there, and free public toilets. It's really a nice stroll.

It is a beautiful cultural place to visit. The history behind the castle is fascinating. The paintings inside are awesome and it's cost me and my partner only 80 Swedish crowns to get in.

Another great example of Northern European Brick Gothic architecture... The castle grounds are a must see, and I'm sure are spectacular any time of year. The museum is a great little gateway into the medieval times with histories and explanations to the ever evolving landscape of Malmö. I reckon it is a must see for any castle aficionados.

Not much to do if your hoping to skip buying tickets to the museum part and just walk around. Kind've in bad shape and frumpy compared to other castle forts in the region. Parking was a bit rough.

It's a fun museum but the first part doesn't have translation in English ( maybe I didn't see the QR code but in that case it should be obvious so people could scan it ) and some other parts as well. Really liked the experience of going over there and exploring the history. There are exhibitions lots of other things in science museum ....vintage cars and also art exhibitions....and the castle looks beautiful....with lots of artifacts and historical facts over there....anyone can go over there with friends and family i have shared the path showing on what is on which floor.

The historical museum is very interesting you can easily spend there 2 hours and learn a lot about Malmo’s history. The entry fee is very cheap it’s around 4€ and you can see 2 museums for that price. They only open at 11am. It’s an interesting place and definitely worth to visit is.

Definitely not the most impressive Castle but it has it's charm. Nowadays serves as museum and grounds for seasonal exhibitions. I do highly recommend visiting Park next to it with beautiful plant gardens from different parts of the world and the beautiful windmill.

If you like castles it is a nice place to walk to and take some photos. It is in Scania neighborhood. Don't expect some medieval huge castle, it's more like a small museum. Nice building surrounded by a water trench.

Absolutely worth a visit if you like nature and animals. Interactive walk through the forest is so fun! Animals are beautiful and unique! I loved it! The cafe serves delicious meals with juice, salad bar and tea included.

I have always loved history, and the same goes for museums. Malmö Castle has a very relevant and creative exhibition of Art, Culture, and History. It immerses people in the time and the stories behind the presentations. You will not be disappointed if you want to take a journey through history, especially with good company.

Like, the Aquarium was cool and a couple of artworks. But other than that there was totally bad artworks, don't get me wrong but this "modern" art is not worth it. But i liked the art, mostly. But yes the first part was quite good with the animals but other than that I don't think it's worth it.

This is a wonderful place where you can see and hear a lot of different things like history of the castle, art gallery, the beginning of life on the our planet, mini zoo with some very special animals from all around the world... Be aware that you need 2-3 hours to visit everything.

Not quite the castle vibe that you’d expect. They had an aquarium which was really nice. The art gallery is also something interesting to see, but the actual castle looks a bit unorganized and lacks the interesting historical facts and stories about it. I wasn’t impressed, but you might like it.

Very nice tour, entrance is for 60 dkk,and it is worth it, a small historical review of Malmo city and the conflict between Malmo and Copenhagen, the castle tour is well done,i liked particularly the prison area, there s also the museum of art wich was fine, you can also enjoy the aquarium especially if u have kids so they can see different fish species and underwater world. I highly recommend it.

A historic landmark for you who love to dig into history. The architct of the church is amazing and takes you back into the times.

All those seems like a hidden church it's actually very big and it's very beautiful. You can see inside an old part of the church and some history that passed through it. It's unique stile in having two big musical instruments

Very nice to see how they kept a small piece of the church in the original style, including the old fresco's and all other art. The rest of the church is quite "boring" after the Protestants removed most of the fresco's and statues, but as I said it's cool to be able to see the difference in style next to each other in the same building

Despite my initial confusion, visiting St. Peter's Cathedral was a thought-provoking experience, showcasing the rich history and individuality of these northern Lutheran churches.

A beautiful old church in Malmö, where the old frescoes were painted over early 20th century. Luckily , a restoration effort laid them bare in the baptistery. It is quite anornatw church for a protestant church . The photos dont do it justice. There is a little area for children.Well worth a visit.

Really a nice church. Definitely a recommendation for malmö, even if you are not religious. Glass work is quite stunning and the main altar has a four staged building showing Christ. We were on Sunday after a mass and waited a couple of minutes. The atmosphere is also quite nice.

Admission is free and taking a walk around it on the way back to the train doesn't hurt.

It is a beautiful church in the city for the residents to worship the Lord. It is very neat and well maintained. One thing that caught most of my attention would be the piano they have. It was rather extraordinary in visual. I'd love to hear it plays in action. Too bad I didn't have the chance.

Visited the museum(s) on a rainy day in Malmö with my 2 sprogs. Both museums had lots to explore, the aquarium being quite a hit with us all and the kids really enjoyed the technical museum (200 yards down the way from the main museum) in which you could explore inside a submarine and a lot more interactive elements. Price is super reasonable and you could spend all day in both. Good café on site in the main museum also.

A fantastic must visit place for all. There are so many exhibits that together with the neighboring technology museum, will take an entire day. Prehistoric exhibits, an actual aquarium, stuffed animals and birds, TV educational videos on environmental care etc. The technology museum have exhibits of a U3 submarine, lots of antique planes, cars, motorbikes and bicycles. Both buildings have cloakrooms with lockers for keeping your jackets and belongings, clean toilets, lifts. It will not be a problem for a handicapped person to visit and browse the museums. There is also a cafe at the museum.

Its an awesome museum specially when you plan for a facility visit. After the Covid restriction now no pre booking is required. The museum contains a number of ancient fossil of extinct animals like Magalodon and dinosaurs. It had also separate segments of Nordic art and culture. A combination of live animals and fossils make it special. Children also like the activities of experiencing the touch and feel of different animals. It is fun :-)

Fantastic Museum.... Price for entry for adults 4€ ...Kids are free....... This is a must do when your at the Castle... They have got Aquariums to stuffed animals and even a small dinosaur area... Loads of exciting animals for your kids to see.... Wish everyone a lovely day out with the Family

I thought its history but in the name of modest fashion they are promoting something else in temporary setup. I havent taken picture from inside as I see it from doors. I heard about this city but it's seems so true. Highly disappointed with history department as people pay you to visit those places. For money you should not promote something else.

A museum with something for everyone. An adult ticket costs only 40kr and grants you access to exhibitions ranging from art and fashion to history, engineering and zoology. The current art exhibition with Tal R, Mamma Andersson & CF Hill is highly recommendable. The art collection also contains some Scandinavian gems including Munch, Lundstrøm, Willumsen, Zorn etc.

I really love the experience there, the kids enjoy their time and there is a lot of things to see..the tickets is very affordable and the kids entrance is free… I don’t like the modern exhibit and the child afraid(there is a paint of a two child kill another child!!) The tickets also give you entry to the teknik museum and its also a very good and enjoyable experience

What a beautiful library here in Malmö. On my way through the beautiful gardens of the castle at Malmö I happened upon the public library. And I’m so glad I did! They have an airy cafe with coffees and teas and sweets just perfect for an afternoon stop. Groups of young people were gathered sharing fica and enjoying themselves, a couple parents with children in strollers and several older people stopping for a respite. The floors are open and gorgeous. Children’s libraries are inviting and well attended. So nice to see a vibrant library in this delightful city.

I ve been to the place a few times, last time went to get my reserved books. I like the computerized system of borrowing books with all the self service. A big place to enjoy books. Places to sit and read. Book lovers this is your heaven.

The main city library (Malmö Stadsbibliotek) is very conducive with good facilities for studying and reading. There is a special place for small children where they can play and read. Also, you have an option to scan and print documents securely from the computers used with a library card. They have sweet and helpful staffs ready to help when you need.

Well organised Malmö city library. Staffs in below 8 years section are quite supportive . Undoubtedly, variety of book collections in different languages. Highly recommended to read/borrow books. Toilet is available . Parking slots are around the library with different timings/parking codes.

Amazing library. We were in Malmö for 2 days as a tourist and found this library on our way. They have books in hungarian (and in a lot of other languages). The atmosphere was really good and calm. We could buy a swedish book for 10 korona :)

Nice library. - There many spaces for people to sit down for reading booking or studying. The lighting is just right for reading, very smart to leverage the nature lights from outside thru big glass walls/ windows. - They have special area for specific purposes, eg researching, designing, children stations… - The location is great, easy to access from the park and the main road - The staffs are super lovely and helpful However, I don’t see much book in English or other languages.

Beautiful library open to all. With the floor to ceiling window, reading a book here feels like reading a book in the nature. Staff is friendly, helpful, and speaks perfect English.

Very beautiful with a huge variety of books, however it's not as quiet as a library is supposed to be. People answer calls in the study areas when other people are near, and the librarians working there speak in a normal tone when helping others. It doesn't bother them if they're close to several people studying, they keep talking normally. By the entrance there's also always people talking, but there are no books around and it's not a study area so it's not particularly annoying. If you're studying here I recommend bringing headphones or go into study rooms in the west wing.

From my point of view it's one of the greatest library it's perfect in the quality of the space in the luxury of computers and it has 3 level where you can stay and read you things

What a wonderful place. Located in the slottsparken is reachable by bike, with an amazing ride in the park itself from Malmö castle. There is also a bike parking outside. It is possible to visit the library free and go around admiring the architecture, details and so on. Visiting libraries is not a common attraction but this one deserves a visit.

Love this place, plenty of books, plenty of space expect for rush hours when students are everywhere. Good place to relax. If you are at malmo on trip, this place is really worth visiting.

We went there during a rainy Sunday as tourists. The library is really fascinating and has a lot to offer (from the outside as well as from the inside) quiet place and books not only in swedeish. You can grab a book and find a cozy place to read. We spent a couple of hours in the library while exploring different books, magazines etc.

The most beautiful public library I've ever seen...As a tourist in Malmö, we didnt buy any ticket nor booked a slot for visiting the building. The library has rich collection: you can find many books in different languages. It has also audio and movies sessions. I spent 2 hours just for taking pics and looking around! Absolutely beautiful garden, a lovely place to walk through and educational as well - so it's great for all ages! We went in September and were lucky to see the garden full of gorgeous dahlias! Highly recommend spending an afternoon here.

The perfect place for digestive walks after a visit to the neighbored Café. Right now, an abundance of flourishing dahlia are filling the eyes with pleasance, enough reason to orbit the patches several times. Without any doubt, a pleasure to wander around these gardens throughout the whole year.

One of my favorite places to walk in Malmö. Lots of nature, from the big lake, open grass areas, playgrounds, flower garden and a big forest area, right in the central part of Malmö.

Went here for a photoshoot walk and for a run next day. It was such a beautiful park with a lot of greens and places to take rest and just meet people. There are lots of picknick places wherever you go. If you are going for a run and exercise, you can run from Slottsträdgården and then around the lake here. There are two outdoor gyms, one inside the forest and another around the lake. The gyms are the same themed and are very modern, I really love the gym! It's a perfect place to just take a walk due to the size of the park and the number of different beautiful views.

Pildammsparken is an amazing nature spot in downtown Malmö, it is super central and easy accessible (it is closer to Triageln train station and Södervarn bus station, you have bus stops in the park itself, but less frequent, if you don't have locomotion problem, it will be 5 minutes walk). The park has 2 lakes, many species of birds, a little urban forest, many sculptures, an arena theater, during the season Tulips, you can also find a playground, grill areas, toilet and fresh water. It has bike lanes all around the park. The park is the perfect place to urban nature photography. Two restaurants are located at the park too. It is one of my favorites places in Malmö ❤️ I fully recommend a visit !

I saw this sculpture a couple times on photos because there are a couple of it by the same artist spread around the world. However, I expected it to be much bigger. Also the headline "Non violence" is a bit too broad and therefore insignificant for my taste. Summarized this "monument for peace" is underwhelming.

It represents non-violence, tried to pull the trigger to no avail, would most likely hurt the user, which I think is the point - violence, once ignited, perpetuates a relentless cycle of destruction that affects everyone involved. Quite small, you will find a couple of these around Sweden.

In a pretty part of town with lots of artwork, but WAY small than I thought. I thought it was a huge statue and it’s really not all the big and spectacular, cool to see if you’re in the area, but I would travel too far just to see it

Most people miss this location but I really recommend going there. The pictures will be very photogenic and you get something to learn about the history

The Knotted Gun is a non-violence sculpture. I was surprised by it’s size. I was expecting it will be much bigger but it still has a very strong message. The gun is situated in a good surrounding.

There was construction work going on when we visited so it wasn't visible from afar. That being said it's hardly visible from a distance cause it's quite smaller than depicted in the pictures online. It's worth a visit if you are in the vicinity but I wouldn't bother to walk an extra km to see it. 4 stars for the meaning of the sculpture although it could be bigger and in a dedicated place to make more of an impact imho.

Watched a couple of table tennis games in Malmö arena of european TT championship. The arena is very clean and comfortable to view matches. I enjoyed watching the games .

Very reasonable ticket price for great hockey. The arena was clean, the atmosphere was super fun, totally easy to get to from the train station, and this was one of many highlights of our week in Malmo. The Red Hawks defenseman Teemu Kivihalme is a stud.

Nice Arena, well organised, clean and very easy to reach with public transport. And horsefly the ice hockey games are a treat for a very reasonable price.

The seats were great, lots of snack stores with plenty of staff which made the queues fast and short. Security check and baggage storage was also great. Located right by a trainstation and next to a mall. This makes it easily accessible, and you can grab a bite of food from one of many restaurants in the mall and still be close to the venue. Would definitely go there again for another arrangement.

I didn't know what to expect but was quite surprised. A large area that is well put together. The arena is nice, great lights and plenty of room. Corporate celebration and they turned this arena into a beautiful dinner & concert space. Entertainment was outstanding what a beautiful space to an event.

First of all it’s a new modern hotel and it has super breakfast. That’s all. I had small 614 suit with small window and two beds but I booked it for couple. Also it’s far from downtown but very close to the largest mall in southern Sweden.

Best district in Malmö for those who like to have more cozy small places, interesting bars and foods. Some of the kitchens are world class, some are street, some are pubs, some are fine-dining. You can have it all, and there are plenty of bars to visit. Also nice atmosphere in general - daytime there is a market place, with all kinds of produce.

A good place to buy sea food and normal life food. It’s very recommended to come in the morning since it has fresh food then. In the afternoon it usually leftovers. They will tidy everything up after 3 pm in the afternoon so if you are going to shop here you have to come before this time. It’s very near Triangeln station so you can just walk here.

Great spot to get fresh vegetables and I think Saturday mornings are the best time to visit as the produce are as fresh as you can get them!

My go-to place for fruits and vegetables, they are open from Mondays-Saturdays, 8am-3pm (do check the time again before you head down). Besides the square, they have a row of restaurants which serve asian to western food. Booze is relatively cheaper here in my opinion. Food is alright.

Love this open market and all the shops around it, offering food from all over the world. The market has some of the best prices for fruit and vegetables in town. Sometimes it's really cheap, often for very ripe items, so check the quality.
