Breathtaking views everywhere you look, it’s a unique experience being on this mountain. Highly recommend going beyond the beaten path of the cable car tour and exploring (climbing) if you have the time and physical fitness.

It is worth visiting even though the cable car is expensive and you might get instant altitude sickness. It’s also a great point from which to admire Mont Blanc and it’s glaciers. The views are very impressive. Quite amazing

Before purchasing tickets for Aiguille du Midi, consider these factors: The views are incredible, but if you plan to visit the Panoramic restaurant, booking in advance is essential. Alternatively, there's a coffee shop at the first cable car stop, which doesn't require booking. Keep in mind that the cable car can shake, which might be challenging for those with labyrinthitis or a fear of heights. If you have heart or lung problems, it's advisable to seek advice before going. Dress warmly with gloves, heavy clothing, and a hat, as it can be very cold. Don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen to protect your skin from the cold.

Go in summer season. I stayed 4 days and due to strong wind the cable car didn’t run for 3 days. Only at the last day I could catch but only to see 2 hrs of nothing but white clouds. I could finally have a 15mins window of something, but could be much better in summer. When there’s less wind and snow or rain

Reading the negative reviews you gotta laugh. They are about as helpful as complaining about lack of oxygen at the top. Anyways. It’s a great experience. We thought it a little expensive at 69 euros but afterwards felt it was worth it. Def check it out.

A small detail that stood out was the cleanliness of the facilities, particularly the toilets. Even at such a high altitude and remote location, they were impeccably maintained, contributing to the overall pleasant experience. What added to the charm of our visit was the fact that it wasn't very crowded. We could truly immerse ourselves in the beauty of the surroundings without feeling rushed or crowded by tourists.

Beautiful cable car experience! We bought our tickets for my daughter's sweet 16 birthday. It was incredible. Just be warned it is quite hard to breathe at the top level. Not so much outside, but inside the buildings it was difficult to catch our breath. Stunning glacier views. There is moderate hiking trails at the lower level, as well as a outside bar and cafe. Truly an unforgettable time!

White Wonder !!! Life time experience... Aiguille du Midi is a must see !! Took a thought bus from Geneva and reached the base of Aiguille... It was an amazing bus ride. From there took stage 1 cable car to station 1 and from there 2nd cable car to station to and then a lift takes us atop of the mountain !!! What an experience.... These spots are for Skiing points... It has all facilities necessary... Toilets to restaurants guides... Wonderful!!!

This ride up to the summit is an incredible, unforgettable experience. I went in April as a family of 4 with kids aged 10 & 8 and we loved it all - especially the Pipe and Step into the Void glass box which was awesome even in the cloud and snow, so doing it on a clear day would be even more amazing. It wasn’t a busy day so we enjoyed no waiting times and plenty of space to look around the different features of the experience - the tunnel and the 360 platforms were a massive highlight. The views are breathtaking and it’s so peaceful to be so high into the mountains. The experience is so well thought out with tonnes of different sections, views and exhibits. We stopped at the Plan d l’Aiguille Terrasse at 2317m the first stop point in the cable car journey on the way up to acclimatise and take in the views at that height before continuing on up and taking the second car up to the Piton Nord summit. My youngest did suffer with the altitude after being at the very top for nearly an hour so it’s worth considering not spending too long up there with kids and to pay attention to how you’re feeling as it can come on suddenly. We ordered croque toasties and a hot dog in the cafeteria which were good, but pricey, so take a picnic up with you if you want to limit the cost of the trip. Overall, given everything you see and how mind blowing it all is to experience in a few hours, the price of the ticket is more than worth it. The journey back down is just as much of a thrill as you look back up to the summit and question whether you were really all the way up there in the clouds - my favourite part on the way up and back were the three sections in the cabling where the car passed through a joining bit and did an unexpected bump and tipped a bit before speeding up an whooshing faster and everyone when woahhh in unison. The whole day was an unforgettable rush!

Just Amazing!!! The Mont Blanc Unlimited Pass includes access and the lift up which is better than paying separately. It also includes train and entrance to Mer de Glacé. Doing both in one day with lunch in between is a great way to spend one of your days in Chamonix.

Absolutely worth the ticket price to get up high and see the Chamonix valley and the unique Alpine vistas. It will be cold at any time of year (even mid summer) so wrap up warm and enjoy. Climbers with the appropriate gear can step out onto the ridges and explore.

The view was amazing! We really loved it there, very informative as well. The ticket is quite expensive but it’s a one time experience where you can see Mont Blanc and many other peaks so clear including Matterhorn.

The place is magnificent! The cable car ride by itself is already an attraction! It is quite unbelievable the engineering efforts to construct it, and the ride to the top of Aiguille du Midi is thrilling! The view is amazing and it is a must! The price per person is not the cheapest one, but when you remember the unique experience, the cable car and the infrastructure, it becomes worth it.

What a wonderful place ! Worth the tour even if the lift price is … too expensive ! I really recommend to take a Mont Blanc Unlimited pass to have other tours and activities as the price is almost the same than Aiguille du midi ! You may feel a bit « sick » when you arrive but don’t panic, you will just need time to feel better To have access to the platform View point, you will have to wait 30min to take beautiful pictures Wear warm and hot clothes ! The temperatures are super cold You even have a small cinéma to watch the story of High peaks ! Enjoy !

We took a cable car from Chamonix to Aiguille du Midi and, as our guide said, it was spectacular. Absolutely wonderful views (we were lucky as it was very sunny weather). I was able to see Mont Blanc and take some great pictures from the 'window'. We were advised that oxygen would be 40% lower, so we took it easy on the stairs and tried to take deep breaths. I would recommend taking some sunscreen as it is very bright. I was disappointed with the staff and their attitude - especially the guy who was responsible for letting people in by cable train (very rude, not helpful at all when we needed some support). Similar story with the lady who was taking pictures in the window. There is no need to be rude to people as they only want nice holiday pictures. They should take some customer service course or pretend to be happy. Apart from that, I would recommend going to the top as it is worth experiencing.

Oh, the views . . . But be careful if you are planning to buy tickets in advance as you might not be able to go up. When we arrived, they were not letting people up due to poor weather conditions, but after a couple of hours' wait, they opened up. Although it was a bit cloudy when up there, I was happy with the views. Be mindful of difficulty to breathe as well as walk when up there, literally breathtaking ✨️ 😊

One of the most beautiful places on mother Earth. Took a cable car from Chamonix to the top Auigile du Midi and had the most stunning and breathtaking view. Can imagine how much more surreal it is in winter time. Strongly recommended to wear a lot of sunscreen at the top and sunglasses. Worth every penny and hopefully I'll be coming back soon.

Beautiful and breathtaking, a must for anyone who visits, and we only visited Aiguille de Midi level as the top was closed due to severe wind. Leaves more for us to visit next time! Cable car is large and quite quick up/down the mountain, great views! My advice is to check weather conditions and dress warm and wear proper footwear as it can be quite cold and slippery in certain areas up there.

Lifetime experience. Love every bit of seconds. Ascending Mont Blanc was my big challenge for me. Don’t watch YT, and think this is easy. You should be prepared for it. Physically and mentally.

It was a solo hike for me via by Gouter route with two nights at Tête Rousse basecamp. Note that it is not crevasse free route! You have to cross several of them on the way, especially just after Goutier hut. Ascent 5:45h, descent about 5:10h. I started the ascent at 2:15 AM and was at the top at 8:00 AM, no major stops. The route is well marked and recognisable even with head light. On the descent I was quite slow and was stoping for some chit chats with others and come back at circa 13:30 PM. Tents has their own matress (just bring sleeping bag). No running water. 1,5l bottled water costs 9€! Trash bins available.

Chamonix and Mt Blanc are picturesque and breathtaking. An absolute must area to visit either in summer or winter with breathtaking views and a great chilled out atmosphere

Not a skier but it is a great experience to have a nice lunch 2525meters up in the le panoramic restaurant. The price wasn’t too shabby either.

I took a beginner lesson for skiing at this place and it was great! The views from the slopes are absolutely stunning, and there are different green runs for beginners to learn and enjoy. It was incredibly busy though! And one downside is that to exit the place via the slopes, you have to share the slope with the other proficient skiers coming from other tracks, so it can be quite scary for beginners as it's very busy and many of them are flying down. There are different slopes and types of lifts for skiers of different levels. There are also cafes and restaurants for non skiers.

It is little bit hard to be there on foot. If you have a car, you should use the parking lot beside Cable car. It would be really helpful even you can save the time to find parking lot also.

Love the view. One way 17 euro, return 22. Seniors of 65 and above get a discount price.

Fantastic skiing. Had a bit of a cloudy day, but managed to stay a bit lower for good viability. Lots of off piste opportunities through the trees linked to groomed runs. I had a great day with good lifts and long runs. If you visit Chamonix, I would highly recommend Le Brevent for a great days skiing

Cable car to the top is thrilling as it's quite steep. You can see rock climber on the way up. View from above is mesmerizing with the full view of the alps.

The counter employees were super nice and welcoming! The experience was a spontaneous last minute and we could make it and climb to the top and enjoy a last minute great time !

Fantastic views on Montblanc and French Alps from the altitude of 2525m. It worths to get there on sunny day. A restaurant Le Panoramic offers its open terrace over the void. As well as a more modest crêperie offers its hot drinks and pancakes.

A worthwhile experience to head up the cablecar to the dual platforms approx 1000m apart. There are food facilities and trails accessible from both altitudes, so allow a day to do some wining, dining and/or walking. Prices are a little elevated up here, so be prepared, but an absolutely fantastic experience nonetheless. Highly recommend, the views are stunning.

We've hike from le Brévent around the Lac du Brévent and le Creux des Marmottes. The views from the Mont Blanc, the peace and wild nature were just amazing.

Fast cable car to the top, the line was minimal. Many options to hike down with beautiful views. Clean nice restrooms. Many restaurants to chill out and look at the view afar and below!

The view on the Mont Blanc is breathtaking, amazing walks of different levels start from there. We were with a kid of 7 years old and we walked to the lake the Brevent and back without any problem.

Our last day skiing in Chamonix Mont-Blanc. This ski resort has a beautiful view over the Algentiere glacier. We were blessed with beautiful weather all week though we were hoping for fresh snow.

The view was just "OK" Overcrowded by tourists Cheserys lake is much better, has much less people and is 30 minutes away by hiking. On top of that, you can't camp around lac blanc, nor fly a drone, while you can do that at Cheserys

Don't be afraid from November when planning to climb Lac Blanc. It's not green and the lake is frozen but climbing with snow around you is much better! 1 advice: take tea or coffee with you because the restaurant at the top is closed in November. 2 advice: snow poles are a must! Rent one at one of the stores

Natural splendor worth of visiting. We took the cable car to La Flégère then the 2 hours ascending trail to Lac Blanc. We opted for a loop by Lac Chéserys then back to LA Flégère. This trail back is more strenuous than the popular path to/from Lac Blanc.

Insane views over Mont Blanc (definitely my fav along the TMB) but also insane crowds. Try to camp here for the sunrise (pitching a tent for the night is tolerated between 7pm-9am if you hike 20 mins further down to Lac de Cheserys) or get ready for way too many people. There is a nice shelter with kind folks but very expensive beer.

Beautiful lake, best enjoyed in sunny conditions with minimal wind for a glassy surface reflecting the mountain ranges. We did this on our last day of the TMB trek instead of going straight to Flegere and it was worth it, despite hiking up in a thunderstorm!

A fantastic 3.5 hour hike (going to Lake from the top of the ski lift, and back to the gondola), be careful that on the return it will get steep downgrade and the path is basically broken stones. It can be stressful. On the way you will see spectacular views of the mountains and atleast five Glaciers. The lake itself is deep aqua blue, be sure to go to the one on the vack and climb up for the best views.

Breathtaking views of lake blanc and Alpes specially on a nice and sunny day. The hike till there is a bit steep for non regulars but doesnt take more than 2hrs from Flegere cable midstation after taking myltiple breaks and enjoying the views.

Great hike after taking the cable car La Flegere up to the Lac Blanc, about 2h with 550m elevation. Spectacular views of glaciers, Mont Blanc and Aiguilles Rouges. If you have time, take advantage of going back via Lac de Cheserys (quite steep but going down) to enjoy another route on your way back. Appreciated the efforts on waste and recycling, everyone does its part, great to see!

Beautiful hike up from the bus stop Montroc, but easy enough for the whole family (or you can take a lift). Keep an eye out for the ibex, who will sit right in the middle of the trail! Some people like to jump into the lake for a swim, even with ice chunks floating in it, but I chose to hike further up into the rocks instead.

Go for it, as long as it’s there. Amazing. For example: use Chairlift, then 1.5h walk towards glacier = amazing view and relatively close. Even with Children no Problem, easy walk and worth it

Incredibly blessed to hike up to the high viewpoint- incredible views and relatively easy hike. We went with two young kids under 8 years old and we took 2hrs17mins hiking up the +/-5km with a lunch stop and rest moments along the way. We are from the Netherlands, so we are not accustomed to mountain hiking.

One of the best ski areas I went by far. Very friendly for kids. Parking is the only issue there. Try the luge!

There is only one ride for adults, coaster rude, but it is awesome, we tried it 2 times. If we take more rides then we can get more discounts. This ride was different as we have the control of acceleration and brake. Must try.

Very clean, and would be brilliant for children. We bought 6 tickets to the snow toboggan as adults. A lot of fun, two people can ride on one ticket.

Wow! Just Wow! If you like the views from the top of mountains with snow covering all places then this the place to be. The cart will take to 3800 m above the sea level. Very nice place to go to. I really enjoyed it.

As far as I know, this is the best amusement park in Chamonix when it comes to options as well as prices. In addition, it’s got a decent ( not the best ) restaurant. The system in the park is that you buy jetons ( coins like ) from machines inside the park and you can use it on various joys except the tour ride you have to buy them separately ( 1 ride for a couple costs 8 € ). It’s a very good option for families and children.

We went on the luge here and it was great fun! Not quite as quick as I was expecting from seeing some of the videos, but was still a great fun and well worth doing.

A family friendly ski place with ski school and ski rental. Half day (4 hours) ski pass is around €80 for family package (2 adults 2 kids) and full day is only an addition of €5.

One stop shop to get your winter adventures going...did not try the other stations. Had lessons for 🏂 and ⛷️ for the young ones. Best to book in advance online as the queue can get very long...they are flexible and can help convert your lesson credits. (Pictures according to description below) The winter eqpt shop is also near and you can rent it throughout. Mornings are the best, it gets busier and busier throughout the day!!! (See Queue outside rental shop at noon!!) You will need to get Skipass if you are doing any lessons inside, available in a small kiosk at the entrance of village after the carpark, keep the cards as the cost 3€ and can be topped up daily. Special pricing for kids 14 and below. Good start here for lessons but do go up to Brevent for your last or last few lessons. View there is excellent!!! And ask for "Beginners Pass" @ Brevent, it is cheaper than the normal tickets!

It is an excellent place for families in the heart of Chamonix town—many activities, rides and ski slopes. The highlight is the alpine coaster, kids loved it.

Restaurant, several lifts for mostly beginners, in all a nice place. Beware if driving don't expect to find parking during peak season unless before 9:00 AM.

I like it very much. It's possible to feel the wind in your hair and the view is magic. 8.50€ for one ride for one person or for two. There are also boxes to put your backpack or bags and not to keep them for this adventure. You should only have a 1€ coin

This amusement park has many activities but I came just for the luge/alpine coaster. It's not a very long track, but it has 2 loops and can go quite fast so it was a thrill. Current price is 8.50 EUR per ride. You can buy tickets at the park entrance or there's also a ticket machine near the ride.

We headed for the Alpine coaster and bought a 10-rides ticket. We had good times. My advice is to start riding before 12 AM. as the queue is not long. After 1-2 PM, the line became very long (>20 minutes waiting). The park is fit for all ages.

This amusement park sports a host of original rides set amongst a backdrop of roaming cows ringing their bells and the shadow of Mt Blanc. You buy tokens to operate most of the rides yourself. The wavy slide "toboggan" requires a wristband and then kids just help themselves to a mat and slide away. The star attraction is the luge which needs a separate ticket or card. An adult and kid can ride the luge together, controlling the break to go as fast as you dare. There is a restaurant on site with ice cream and decent beers and cocktails. The toilets are here too. There is a large carpark just at the entrance to the site.

Very convenient to take the cable car and enjoy these beautiful views. You can also hike if you are up for it. Stunning nature where you can enjoy the sun on a warm sunny day and just relax in the nature. Would recommend for everyone to visit.

Intermediate ski slopes in Chamonix. South facing so better to ski in the morning and up high in the afternoon. I personally preferred this area to connecting area of Brevant.

hiking and cable car itself are great! but it's very confusing on the website so that we duplicated the purchase - you have the normal cable car ticket and a day pass called "cham summer", of which the website describes like a pass for hiking with dynamic pricing but it's for all cable cars on the north of the valley. it's actually a good deal if you manage to get it less than 20 eur. be there early, or you have to park further.

All south facing slopes. Something for everyone. La Combe slope is exiting for technical skiing but there are also some greens. Very modern cabin lift from the valey to the ski area.

Great view over the Chamonix valley from Index. The cable car takes you very fast up the Mountain. Take a jacket with you, it might get windy and cold even in sommer.

The tunnel serves an important purpose. For some reason on the occasion we passed through they kept holding off the cars to let coaches and lorries through as a priority. There is probably some reason for this but it out about 45-60 minutes on to our journey.

Way, way, too expensive!! 47,40€ for 11 kilometers with a small Fiat Panda!!! This is way too much. I was lucky to go there at low traffic time. If I had known the price, I would not have taken this way. Avoid at all cost (well at 47,40€ cost 😄).

Shorten the drive by crossing through the mountains. 11km around 30 minutes, as the speed limit is 70km/h and it costs 54€ (euro 5 car) We received instructions both verbally and with papers. We didn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes, but inside drivers don’t follow the 150 meter drive distance rule! Expensive but works (at least for us!)

As ever, this feat of engineering saved us a long drive over the Alps saving time and maybe money. It’s 68€ for a group 2 Motorhome so you need to offset the fuel costs and brake wear against it. We queued for around 20 minutes going towards France. Very long queues in the other direction as holiday time.

I've never left a review for a tunnel before, but, what the heck. It's a tunnel that connects France and Italy. It's a few kilometers long and goes under Mt Blanc. It wasn't cheap to drive through, I paid nearly €60 for a round trip.

French side was fine to enter the tunnel. However the Italian side is a disaster! No special lanes to give priority ask to pass holders. The average time per car at the toll booth was 2 minutes 43 seconds, and yet traffic was super smooth in the tunnel. Instead of having 1 lane open up to 5 without prioritisation only to shrink back to one lane, the toll staff would better be used pre selling tickets before the booths and managing traffic so people with passes can go straight through! We lost over one hour thanks to poor management :(

One of the amazing tunnels to experience. Smooth, easy, dead straight, two lane tunnel. Got a toll to pay, and soon will be under maintainance, hence always check about it's closing and maintenance time before you embark on your journey to this splendid tunnel

Massively overpriced, outdated, only one lane each way and 30mins queuing to get through. Come on this is 2023 time for another tunnel

The biggest robbery in Europe! Unrealistic and unreasonably high price. There are several tunnels of similar length in the Alps, and they are all free. They generate their own congestion, you better be prepared for gridlock.

The tunnel is a stunning piece of architecture; however the traffic jam ( 2 hr average) is painful! And there's nothing you can do but appreciate everything around it

I wish that 0 starts rating would be available. Always busy, always hours of waiting. Way to expensive. This was a engineering marvel but way back. Now it’s struggling survive. So if you can bypass it you will do yourself a favor.

The Mont Blanc is an easy way to avoid Switzerland through to Italy if you are a truck driver, but it's expensive I mean €550 return for a Truck, the return ticket lasts 14 days. Remember either side you must get the emissions ticket Euro 5 and 6 are only allowed to travel through the tunnel, if you do not get the emissions ticket you will be turned around and will have to drive the 30 kilometers back to the emissions station. The emissions station is better signposted on the French side in 3 languages, French, Italian and English. Trucks normally at night you cannot go through with a truck, I think from 9pm until 5am, you have to park up at the emissions station in lines and then get your emissions ticket then drive through in the morning. The emissions station have good free toilets, showers and a coffee machine. It's 2 way traffic through the tunnel so concentration is needed, plus do not speed! Cameras are watching your speed, which is normally 70kmh and no slower than 50kmh. Cars are €60 return and Motorcycles €40. The run up both sides is beautiful.

The main route to go from Chamonix into Italy and South. Often a long wait, ours was about 20 minutes. 2/3 hours is not out of the question. Toll was nearly 60 euros.

Not worth it. Traffic jam of over 3hrs before entering the tunnel. They dont even let you know. Road work in August!!! And expensive. Also only one loo, really really poor service. If you can avoid it right now, do it!

If you wanna pay 68€ to get stuck in a 3h traffic, dont hesitate to try it! Italian side is ok but the french side is a nightmare, standstill from the highway. Make sure you got the Godfather trilogy downloaded on netflix!

Probably the worst and the slowest passage I have ever been so unlucky to have in my life. Horrible traffic jams, no proper infrastructure to accommodate this huge delays. Avoid like plague if you can.

Beautiful place, but i think it is too expensive to pass the tunnel. 30,7€ for a motorbike it is not a fair price, even though the condition of the structure shows its age. You have the option to buy a two way ticket and it is coming a lot cheaper. 58€ was for a car instead of 90. Anyway it is a good, unforgettable experience.

Visiting the Mer de Glace ice cave in France was an absolutely incredible experience! I highly recommend it to anyone seeking adventure and natural beauty. However, be prepared for a significant physical challenge as there are numerous stairs, both ascending and descending, which can be quite exhausting. I found myself needing frequent breaks to catch my breath. I obtained my ticket through the multi pass of Aguile, which made the process convenient. Despite the physical exertion, the awe-inspiring views and unique experience of exploring the ice cave made it all worthwhile. Definitely a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts!

Beautiful place and worth a visit. Only con is that it's very pricey and 35€ per person to take the train up and down is far too much.

Nice train ride in an old train with good views. Then a gondola down and a walk down to the glacier with a lot of stairs. You need to be reasonable fit to go down and back up. It's a out 500 stairs each way.

A bit painful ride from Chamonix to the cave station but a very interesting experience for both children and adults, totally worth it! For those not used to hike a lot - prepare for some walking and climbing stairs too!

Amazing place to visit! The cabin that supposed to take us downstairs was closed (probably due to strong winds), so we did the all way down "hiking"... this road and the endless number of stairs were very very challenging. Remember, everything that goes down, needs to go up! The frozen cave is amazing, and it's very sad understanding that it will disappear in a few decades.

This place is amazing beautiful, 500 steps down to experience the cave inside the glacier was worth it. I do not recommend to go with babies, small kids or elderies. After visit the cave you will need to take the 500 steps back up and is not too easy, bring water, comfortable shoes and a rain coat. Highly recommend.

Amazing worth coming , the stairs are smooth and comfortable with no obstacles. 520 steps as piece of cake. Best to do in Chamonix don't miss it out.

Intriguing place! The access is made by train, then cable car and lastly through a staircase for around 10 minutes. The ice cave itself is amazing, and quite unbelievable in many aspects! Totally worth the visit, but be aware that the weather can change quite rapidly over there! The pictures cannot provide the exact dimension and magnitude of this place.

Before you visit make sure you check that the cave is open. It's free to enter but closes annually in September until reopening the next summer. It's worth a visit. Inside is pretty small but very informative on glaciers and how the cave was made. You'll have to climb 500 steps down and up to reach this cave so be prepared for a minor challenge. No tickets are required for entry or the gondola ride but you do need to pay for the train ride to the nearby station unless you hike the entire way.

This is an extraordinary site both for its magical beauty and awareness of the consequences of glaciers melting. It is very likely that this wonderful ice cave will disappear soon together with his mother glacier, Montenvers. The melting of glaciers during our lifetime is very tragic, especially since everyone knows that this could be prevented, but little is effectively done. The access to the cave is by 500 staircase, and, thus, it is not that easy. However, considering it will very soon melt away, it is probably worth seeing once in a lifetime.

Ice cave was very interesting and well worth a visit. The cafe however is extremely overpriced. I purchased a ham and cheese sandwich for 9€ it was so stale it was inedible.. a packet of lays was 4€. There is still a lot of building work going on until October 2025 so seemed a bit if a mess in places

Visited on a Wednesday, early January 2023. Cute little red train, with big windows takes you to the top. From there you take a gondola down to the bottom, from there walk to glacier. Extremely beautiful, bring your camera. Good for photography.

Fantastic experience going actually INTO a glacier. And a very scary one by looking at the man-made retraction of the glaciers in the past 4 decades (basically my age ;( ). Ice levels are marked on the way down to the shrunken glacier-keep your eyes open.

One of the most beautiful experiences around Chamonix, an absolute must see. Educative also, and a bit sad. As you go down the stairs from the high point, you see the yearly markings of the highest point of the glacier, which year after year decreased. Over three decades, it decreased more than 100ft. An important and alive reminder of our impact on nature and how important it is for us to try to preserve it.

Cool little museum housing interesting crystals and rocks from the surrounding area. It was informative and educational. Easy place to kill an hour or two of time. It was worth the price of admission.

We visited the museum on a rainy day and weren’t disappointed. Unquie stones and crystals from all over the world. It made us proud to see a vast collection of stones from Pakistan. Kids enjoyed it too; it would have been great if the activity leaflets were in English, but it was in French only, and many kids like our kids couldn’t do the activity. But they still enjoyed it.

Very nice museum with fantastic exhibitions but everything was in french and therefore it was difficult to understand what it was explaining.

This museum is amazing! Smithsonian quality collection of gems and minerals found in the Alps and throughout the world. Attached to this museum is a mountaineering museum, which teaches all about rock climbing. Watch videos, do an interactive climbing simulation, learn to tie climbing knots with real ropes, try out climbing devices on real granite rocks, see actual climbing shoes used throughout history, feel different types of climbing hand holds, learn how rock climbing routes are rated for difficulty. My 8 and 9 year old boys and I loved these museums. We were amazed that we were almost the only ones there (we were there for 2 hours in peak season) and it only cost about $5 for the 3 of us.

We visited on the night of the museums; it was late but many families with children were having a good time and so did we. It is great to see crystals coming from the area, and photos of the collectors, alongside exhibitions from all over the world. Worth the visit.

Good collection of Crystals and knowledge about them. My daughter loved to play a small quiz game related to the museum provided at the front desk. Must visit if the beauty of crystals amaze you or want to learn what gems alps hold in them. Good option for a rainy day in Chamonix.

Interesting to visit if you have a Chamonix guest pass so entrance is 5 CHF (7 CHF without the pass). The crystal museum's layout is quite small and compact with one floor of collections takes about 20mins to go around (most of them are quartz). It's a bit of walk from the town center where all main roads are, towards the direction to information center and recommended to visit when you don't have big luggage to carry (many slopes on the way). P.S great mountain view in this location

Very nice museum especially if someone is interested in geology. It has a variety of crystals from Mont Blanc and also from around the world. It is worth a visit and it is located in the center of Chamonix with an easy access.

An all new ticket area and car park comes with all new prices. Crazy car parking charges (previously free, now €34.50 for the day) plus much higher ticket costs compared to other areas of Cham make Le Tour now extremely difficult to recommend.

The slopes are very nice, but the place needs more infrastructure to handle all the skiers. 45 min to an hour wait is to be expected on the first morning lift.

This is one in a lifetime experience... Absolutely breath taking. At no point did we feel it was rushed, instead Pascal the pilot took the time to provide great commentaries and gave us time to absorb the beauty all around. And we even got to land on top of Mount Blanc. Not many words can express how we felt! Incredible, à must do when in the area! Thanks for lifelong memory

Very safe and relatively easy hike from Chamonix. You can do a circle and take a different route up and down. Easy to find, signs everywhere. Calculate four hours for going up and three hours for going down. I would recommend going up from west and down east. Start early to have time to look at thes city when you return. One hour should be enough for the city. Mostly tourist traps and overpriced restaurants.

Absolute stunning views of Mont Blanc and surrounding mountains! Definitely recommended to go during summer and winter!

So amazing! Wanted to go to Aiguille du Midi but as this was closed, we decided to go to Le Brevent instead and were not disappointed. The views are amazing, nice walks up there on both levels and luckily wasn't too busy.

Absolutely stunning hiking trails and vistas of the Chamonix Valley and Mont Blanc! If you are seeking an Alpine adventure, this place definitely qualifies for it!

Great views of the Mont Black ridge. Worth going up from Planprez all the way to Brevet. You can also walk it but its pretty steep. There are restaurants on both places. On Planorez there is a stunning suntan balcony. Must sit there soak the sun with a nice Chardonnay.

In Aiguille du midi you can feel the Mont-blanc, but you can ‘enjoy’ the view of Mont-blanc here.

This was a 5-star trip for us, especially because we took the cable car to the Le Brévent peak and then way back to Plan Praz by walking down. The landscape is simply breathtaking.

Opted for this as Agualle du Midi amwas closed at that time. But liked it very much. It has a restaurant facing the Chamonix town at the bottom. Witnessed many adventures sports taking place.

Beautiful place upside Chamonix... Slopes are very nice, for all level of skiing.... There are few restaurants for eat and drink... The view from there is so nice, you look at Mont blanc across... If you want you have good ski connection to Flegere... All recommendations

This is a two section cable car that affords gorgeous views of Mont Blanc across the valley. Be warned that if you park near Aiguille du Midi/the center of town, you will have a very uphill walk to get there. They have parking on site, so I’d park there. But the best thing about this is that there was no line for any of it, even on a perfect day in August. So highly recommend for that alone. Plus the views are great.

Quite an interesting museum to learn the history of Chamonix and its alps. Came here with my ski instructor and we both found it quite nice. Objects, paintings, and sculptures. You can get a discount potentially with hotel / ski proofs. A nice option for a short break from the slopes in downtown Chamonix!

This is a Nice place to visit not only to learn about they history ir Chamonix itself but also to understabd how Mountain Sports like skiing and mountaneering evolved.

Interesting museum of local history. Much better is the neighbourhood with the beautiful views all around, the establishments, the terraces... And of course with the mountainous background! It's nicely lit up so sunset is wonderful to have some wine outside and just enjoy the tranquility of this area!

It's about 5€ per person so inexpensive I would say l, it's not to big, in about 40 - 50 min You will finish to see everything but depends on every person / group . Great history about the place and people that made this place quite famous.

It's located just besides the church. The staff speaks English very well & are extremely helpful. They provide in detail guidance including the public transport timings, sightseeing recommendations, hardcopies of maps & schedules. They give you enough time & resolve all your queries patiently.Will recommend to visit on the first day in Chamonix to plan your days there effectively. Staff is very kind & go out of their way to help you.

Wonderful reception from the tourisme officials. We are sad that our country Ghana was not on the list of countries for the visitors log and feedback. I hope you add Ghana to the list so we and other Ghanaians will be able to share our experiences.

I visited Chamonix-Mont-Blanc last week! Its a scenic place with breathtaking views of the Alps. I took the cable car up to Le Brevent, 2525m high, to have lunch at Le Panoramic bar and restaurant with great views of Mont Blanc. Awesome experience. The staff at the tourism office were very professional, however, my country was not part of the countries listed in the visitors record form. So i could not make an entry in the visitors log to show i had travelled from Ghana for this wonderful experience and it was definitely worth the journey. I look forward to visiting again. :)

So much to see and do in Chamonix this place should be a must visit. Super helpful and knowledgeable our helper really made our visit easy

As expected the place was super busy and from the entrance you can find leaflets and brochure with various activities that you can do on the mountains. We tried to get informed while queuing but in the 6-7 minutes looking trough them I couldn't find the info I needed and when my turn came I got the answer in 30 seconds 😁, and with a smile on her face. Since we travel a lot with the kids you couldn't help noticing (small or big) places for kids to entertain while waiting, ( tables with books for coloring) so this is a big plus from my point of view. So overall feeling is positive, one suggestion, it depends also on the day of the week and of the season of course, would be to supliment another person, like this speeding the que 😁. Regardless, everything around you is so spectacular that you quickly move on, and enjoy your stay. I hope you will to !

This office had so many tips for how we could enjoy the Christmas in Chamonix without spending a dime. They told us about two unforgettable experiences in the open-air that were COVID friendly and great displays for the holidays. We even met Santa! This free concert was a tip we received for the tourism office and it did not disappoint. We got to experience Light Balance, a dance group from America's Got Talent. They did an incredible job transitioning their work to a live stage in the snow on Christmas Eve!

About a 10 minute walk from the train station. Very helpful team - was able to get a map of the town and surrounding areas and purchased a t-shirt.

I visited Chamonix last week. Unfortunately most of the activities were closed due to maintenance. But the staff at the office helped us to sort out and suggested us some new activities and made our trip engaging and enjoyable.

Wrong information to me. Attitude is bad. I found the right answer in tram station staff.

A good place to obtain the information you need: accomodation, dining, point of interests including outdoor activities. Hiking and mountaineering in summer, skiing in winter. The town of Chamonix itself is a very pretty resort with lots of good restaurants. Well worth a visit any time of the year.

I was highly disappointed in my experience. I was able to purchase a bus pass but other than that was provided no information or direction. The only information I was able to gather was from the brochures that were near the front entrance. Did not feel as if they cared whether anyone came to visit or not. An overall very frustrating experience.
