A low score is always better to clarify so that other users know all the details and can assess whether it is important to them or not. Obviously the details that I am going to highlight lead us to advise against the Oh Camping L, Espiguette bungalow service.
And... It has 2 stars because Henry was very friendly in almost all aspects except check-out and handing over the keys.
Apart from Henry's friendliness, we cannot highlight anything more positive.
We start with the campsite, which I am not going to go into, but it can only be described, without going into detail; dirty, neglected, noisy and ideal for young people who want to have a good time. NOT suitable for families with children.
Focusing more on the bungalow area, the situation is terrible, all services are very far away, if you want to go to the pool, restaurant, or supermarket, it is better to take the car.
How hot it is, and you have no shade, as in our case, you will enter an unbearable oven. Not a sad fan. Obviously the refrigerator is off, if you bring food, you can throw it away, because it doesn't reach the right temperature until the next day.
The cleaning of the Bungalows depends on the effort that the previous tenant has put into it, since they do not do any type of thorough cleaning.
The bathrooms, in addition to not being able to regulate the water temperature, not having toilet paper and needing urgent renovation, are very very dirty.
It is true that it is very very cheap. But keep in mind that sometimes cheap is expensive.
And in our final discussion, we already know that we have to leave the apartment clean to recover the €250 in cash that we give at the entrance. But what we didn't know is that we have to disconnect the refrigerator the day before to remove all the ice that the refrigerator produces so that everything is dry. This discussion was quite unpleasant, and totally unnecessary. Because we were stubborn, in the end Henry put a liquid in the freezer and the ice came out very easily. But we had some tense moments because they wouldn't return the deposit until the entire refrigerator was dry.
We have been traveling and visiting campsites for many years, perhaps not so cheap, but we have NEVER found ourselves in a similar situation.
In short, read all the fine print before booking, if you look closely, it is a good price.
