Such a refreshing upgrade from the hotel my father and I stayed at before this one! The room is so cute and well lit, they upgraded us to a free ocean view when we paid for partial, I believe that is in cause to not being fully booked, but it was super duper appreciated! The room isn’t ginormous but it honestly feels like more than enough, with a balcony for two chairs, a desk area with a coffee maker and fridge and mirror closet! Complimentary reusable hotel water bottles to keep too haha. Just little clear blue ones but awesome nonetheless. The theming of the room and bathroom was very satisfying and comforting. Bathroom is small but looks very clean and crisp too, towels were well stocked and shower was clean. The room has a safe too, and an AC unit which blows cold air very well! TV seems more upgraded and sleek. The balcony area has a glass sliding door but there’s these big wooden blinds/sliding doors to block it off for privacy. Having the ocean nearby sounded very peaceful, just beware of tweakers or partiers being loud at night because the hotel is in the middle is a very busy tourism packed area. The location itself is amazing, I walked everywhere the day we checked in, and the beach was literally across the street. So many places to eat first off, from upscale restaurants to little food halls, cafes, food courts, and tons of food truck/ small hole-in-the-wall type establishments that looked so good but I couldn’t eat anything else today, so full! Tons of shopping, like more than you need, all the high-end brand stores you can think of included in multiple shopping malls, plazas, centers, you just need to walk around. I think I found like two large shopping centers randomly tonight after wandering away from the International Market, everything is so close to each other. Randomly stumbled upon an Asian food hall too, lots of sushi and ramen and some bar areas, also saw a matcha sort of cafe. It’s really an ideal place to stay as a tourist, I walked around for hours on my own today and was still finding new places by the fifth hour. I believe Duke’s Lane, International Market Place, Waikiki Food Hall (including the Asian Food Hall) , Royal Hawaiian Center, the Waikiki Business Plaza, Waikiki Beach Walk, and more, were all within a 5-15 minute walk from the hotel. Perfect room/location honestly for my stay, I wish I was here another night because I want to explore more c: If I ever return to this part of Oahu, I’ll definitely have this one on my list to be at.
Edit: Another little plus is that the bathroom has a hair dryer and there’s nice bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel hooked to the wall for use since a lot of tourists rely on a hotel to provide those things. Nice commodity 🤗
