My stay at the hotel (room number 2228, period from 05/05 to 12/05) left negative impressions. Below is a list of what seemed unacceptable for a hotel of this network and level:
1. On one of the days, hotel staff began to spray insecticide on the plants along the beach while hotel guests were literally a few meters away, all in smoke.
2. Strange towel check-out system: sometimes hotel staff ask for the room number and the number of towels taken, although nothing is required when returning the towels (they don't even ask for the room number). What's the point then?
3. The waiters systematically collect food leftovers in the eating area (this is incredibly loud, dirty, and unpleasant).
4. Rusty and broken structures on the hotel grounds (broken wooden sunbeds, torn mattresses, rusty poles).
5. There's no child-free zone at meals, children don't use utensils to take food, they take everything with their hands.
6. On one of the days, hotel staff started mowing the lawn with a gasoline mower at 8:30 am, waking up half the hotel.
7. Waiters constantly ask for the room number even when you don't order anything. Moreover, they do it twice: at the entrance to the restaurant and directly at the table. What's the point of disturbing the hotel's guests and asking their room number every time?
8. On Saturday, a huge group of people checked into the hotel, they were given a separate place on the beach, they switched on loud music and had fun. However, this caused discomfort to the other hotel residents, many were forced to go to their rooms because it was impossible to be on the beach surrounded by loud music. Does a hotel of this level have double standards regarding different groups of guests?
9. The translation of dishes into other languages leaves much to be desired. In a world where you can use LLM models with the language features of native speakers, translating the name of a dish correctly can be done instantaneously.
10. The food is quite monotonous, without any significant cooking refinements (meat is almost always overcooked, a small selection of greens and salad dressings, monotonous desserts).
I don't want this review to sound like continuous negativity, as the hotel has a number of definite advantages:
1. There's a long coastline, more than 1 km. If you love walking along the sea, you will enjoy this.
2. There's a long mealtime (more than 3 hours for breakfast). You can eat exactly when you're comfortable.
3. Beautiful infrastructure, many pools, including ones with saltwater.
The hotel has a tremendous number of areas for development, given the right approach and effort. I counted at least 10 ways to improve the overall impression of the hotel during my stay. I hope my review does not go unnoticed and will benefit you.
