Poggio was delicious. We were seated right away and our waiter/server was so professional and friendly, he knew the menu well and made great suggestions. We ordered one appetizer, one salad and one main entree with a side of bread for two people and it was plenty of food and so tasty! Will definitely come back. Excellent service.
I am really glad we got this recommendation! They were quickly able to seat our group of 9. The tuna tartar was exquisite! The Halibut with the steamed spinach, carrots and creamy mashed potatoes were phenomenal. Not to mention the non stop great service! Too bad I don't live in the bay area, otherwise this would be a very frequent spot!
Lovely view and great food, come to relax and enjoy Sausalito.

So good, can't wait to go back
Outstanding food, authentically Italian, incredibly fresh ingredients. My little gems salad with anchovy was one of the very best salads I’ve had. All our dishes were excellent. Portions were large, flavors popped and presentation was attractive. Only negative was that the server seemed to have too many tables, as we had a very long wait between menu presentation and ordering. Overall, this was as good as expected, and I definitely recommend. Poggio has been a top restaurant for many years, and the praise seems deserved.
Tried this place out for supper. The pasta was cooked excellent. Good flavour. The price to quality was equal. It was really busy so we had to sit outside by the elevator to the bathroom. The chairs weren’t that comfortable. The service provided was as efficient as possible to limit interaction. The desert was the best part. I would return here again.
