About
The Ivy restaurant in Spinningfields Manchester is a quintessential establishment for date night. With three floors to choose from, the venue offers a sophisticated atmosphere that's perfect for catching up with friends. The breakfast menu is as much about the ambiance as it is the food, with pastries and toast standing out among a range of full English options.Reviews
The Ivy Spinningfields Manchester is highly praised for its exceptional service, delicious food, and beautiful decor. Reviewers highlight the accommodating staff, diverse menu options including vegetarian choices, and fantastic alcohol-free cocktails. The atmosphere is described as balanced and welcoming, with efficient service that doesn't rush diners. While some mention minor issues like slow service or high prices for drinks, overall feedback is overwhelmingly positive with many guests eager to return.
We pre-booked for a Friday lunch and arrived a little before. The restaurant was busy and had a very nicely balanced atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. We had some vegetarian/plant based people in our party, and there were plenty of options for them too. Alcohol free cocktails were fantastic. We ate 3 courses, and had empty plates at the end of the meal. We didn't have to wait too long in between courses and we didn't feel rushed either.
I will be going back and can't really fault anything in the restaurant 10/10 😊👍
On holiday from Australia, we came here for a family meal. Beautiful decor and such a stunning restaurant.
We were lucky (unlucky) enough to be here on the warmest day of the year. And it was a little uncomfortable in the restaurant. I would have appreciated some air conditioning.
The food was good. As an entree I had the goats cheese tart. Which could have been more of a tart and less of a pastry disc.
The three mains we had were excellent. Shepherds Pie. Chicken Milanese. And the fish cakes.
Very good service.
Recommended.
Gorgeous restraunt one of my all time faves in Manchester, been a good few times & last night visited the ivy Asia for the first time. We were served by a lovely lady, she went through the whole menu with us, talked us through and even recommended some of her faves, she was engaging and had a laugh with us. Food was 100/10 stunning! And the interior was just magical. All round a beautiful night, thank you ivy!
We went to The Ivy Asia for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it. Food, service everything spot on. I really recommend the vegetable sushi and chicken skewers. The only downside of the whole experience was where we were sat (on the counter) would have been better if we were sat on one of the tables but that’s down to us booking the wrong thing!
First visit here with work colleagues and wasn't disappointed at all. Food was great and what you would expect from the Ivy. The decor was fab, have visted the Leeds and Birmingham locations and this was much bigger and located over many floors, with Ivy Asia on the second floor.
Price wise it is what you would expect from the Ivy and for a Monday lunchtime service was busy, definitely recommend booking ahead.
The sour dough crusted bread my favourite as an accompaniment. And the shepherd's pie worth trying as well as the prawn tempura.
