Beeside Balcony offers a casually elegant dining experience with Mediterranean-inspired food and beautiful presentations. The patio seating provides a relaxing setting with heaters for colder days and side shades for wind or sun protection. While the view of the water may not be clear, glimpses of stunning sunsets can still be enjoyed. Reviewers praise the fantastic views, vegetarian options, great wine selection, and efficient service. However, some mention the need to check weather conditions due to lack of umbrellas on rainy days and recommend making reservations in advance due to popularity on weekends.

Casually elegant. Food is Mediterranean inspired, not traditional. Beautiful presentations, variety of menu items but not too many. Patio seating with heaters when it's cold and side shades they drop down for wind or glaring sun. Not a clear view of the water but still a relaxing setting and able to catch a glimpse of a sunset. Parking is typical for the area. We will return.
Very quiet on a Saturday late morning. Made a reservation but probably did not need to. Tried several mimosas which were tasty but a tad overpriced. Food was average but came out quick. Efficient service. Nice outdoor balcony with fresh air and views of Del Mar.
We came here on the last day of restaurant week for lunch. The ambiance was very nice and we had a partial view of the ocean which was good. I had the lamb meatballs which were delicious and very tender. My wife had the hummus and the pita chips were delicious. The burger and grilled cheese for main course were both very tasty. The only thing that let down the meal slightly were that the chocolate torte and the lemon tart tasted like they were bought in rather than made freshly. The chocolate torte was a bit dry and the lemon tart wasn't set. They still had great flavour. Also props to the place not having a stupid restaurant surcharge.
Cosy, dining experience with fantastic views of the ocean. It got chill this evening but the balcony had the heaters going. Great wine selection, vegetarian options and views wanting us to definitely be back for more!
