I am an avid sushi eater and M sushi is the only place I will eat raw fish, their MUST HAVE appetizer, Tuna crisps, just get it, you won't be disappointed! M sushi roll, tuna special, and seared salmon roll are my FAVES! You can't even tell you are eating raw fish! The combos just hit your pallet just right! Its amazing!! I haven't dived into sashimi, but if I ever did, this would be the place I would try. For the quality of this place, the price is just right! Definitely a must try if you are a sushi lover like me!
Excellent sushi! Omakase is amazing, you get a lot of food, and the experience is 10/10. This will definitely become a new staple for me in Durham
The Nigiri Omekase was great, most fish choices were excellent with only 2/15 that weren't really for my pallet and some very good stand outs like the seared salmon belly. The wasabi in the Nigiri was a little strong for my wife, but I appreciated the traditional bit under each piece.
Sake recommendations were well thought out and service was friendly and attentive.
The tuna on crispy rice was very tasty but the fish did take a bit of a back seat there but it has some pretty wide appeal that way I'd imagine.
Deserts were good, yuzu semifredo was great, and the chocolate mouse cake was I'd say fairly standard.
Ibam from Florida so I have some amazing sushi so I hold everything to that standard. I live in NC now so we where told this was the best here so we went and I have to say it probably is the best I have ever had or right there! No complaints everything was exceptional and the service was very good as well. The only little thing I am going to say is yes it is top quality but it seamed a little pricey for the amount we got I get it top quality equals high dollar but $200 for what I got seemed high. So in saying all that would I go again YES but it will be down the road for sure. If your looking to be impressed with sushi and other great tasting than this is the place to treat yourself with others!!
Just as good as their Cary location! They have a really nice upscale dining experience. The freshest sushi around. They have a limited roll selection so they can focus on quality, and they definitely deliver. I had the otoro and seared salmon nigiri which were exceptional. I had the seared salmon roll and it was jam packed with flavor. So much going on in the roll and it all paired so nicely. Side note: they have Fever Tree Ginger Beer, which is just about the best you can get, in my opinion; so crisp. Highly recommend for any sushi lover
