To reach the beach you have to go by dolmus a kind of small crowded bus it will cost you 5 TL from Alaçati. In this spot you can eat a delicious sandwich called Kumru.

Pure nature and calm sea and Luke warm water, the sea is not deep, poor municipality service, showers and restrooms are not well cared.

So enjoyable place with long beach and clean colourful water!

Great beach, it is a very large beach. You can find somewhere to sit down. Also lots of private beach areas if you pay around 40-80tl. Lots of restaurants right on the beach to order anything you want. Water is awesome and can swim for hours there.

This beach was just so lovely.Perfect for sunbathing,perfect for little children it was shallows for quite a while and not rough waves.The water is just so clear and beautiful.loved the shower/bathroom facilities so convenient.A great beach ,definitely recommend.

I visited Ilıca beach in June, the most striking thing was the waste of the luxurious hotel that they are building on the first line of the beach. There was cement and wood as well as sharp objects all around. We visited the beach in the morning around 11 o’clock and it was obvious that no cleaning is done daily nor was there any cleaning personal, or any security. There was not even one rubbish bin. People throw all the rubbish along the beach and the municipality doesn’t even bother to place bins to avoid this problem. As a foreigner it seemed such an abuse of natural beauty and it is no wonder that I cannot recommend such a place or talk good things about Çesme abroad. In the pictures you can also see dead seagulls, which most probably had to eat the plastic waste that the people dumped on the beach and there was not only one. While walking along the beach we saw several dead animals on the shore. It is such a shame on part of Çesme municipality and I will send these photos to higher authorities.

Beach itself is very dirty. With little effort it can be one of better beaches on location. Water on the other hand was fine. We had fun with waves, but thats just it.

It really is a beautiful place, just as described. Clean coast and clear like glass sea water. Shower areas and toilets are available and free of charge. There is no shaded seating area but it is available in the cafeteria. It would be much better if there was an extra shaded area.

Falling in love with this spot, it's conveniently accessible from Alacati for a delightful journey and captivates with its emerald-like beauty and the mesmerizing turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea.

It’s a long beautiful beach. Especially great for those beach walks, if you are a lover of them. You get to challenge yourself to go to the very end and then climb up to the wooden stalls/terraces and go on forward. Amazing views will be opened for you from the other end. The sea is so clean and transparent. The area in general is super picturesque and provides for good vibration of your soul. Yet, a bit disappointing that people leave so much litter behind.

The water is brilliant, but rhe sand is hell, full of ciggarette, used bottles, packages. Very sad that people are not trying to keep it clean, also on the other hand there are no gabbage bins until you leave the beach.

The beach is lovely. The water is very clear and warm, sand is soft. Parking nearby. The facilities are poor, though. The bathrooms are disgusting. Only three changing cabins that are dirty, with no hooks to hang clothing.

The beach is very long and wide, but the sand is not the cleanest. The water, though, is very warm. There are usually waves, because it's a windy beach, but the entrance in the water is plain, so the waves aren't a problem. In some parts of the water there are stones or shells that you can step on and hurt yourself,so some water shoes are recommendable.

You can have an overview of Çeşme from the top of the Castle. One of the biggest castle you can find around the region. Worth visiting, museum is good.

We pay 25 TL per person for 2 adult & 2 teens. Free for little child under 12 y. Not friendly for elderly or disabled people because there's a lot of stairs and steep slope to get to the top, so prepare yourself. But when you're on top, you'll get amazing panoramic view of Aegean sea and around Cesme harbor. Inside the castle there is small museum explaining about Turkish-Russian war.

Could do with more details but we had a fun time exploring the walls and parapets.

The castle is probably the most important sight that you can visit in Çesme. It's quiet close to the harbor and settled on a tiny hill. But don't let the little hill fool you, it's still quiet steep! But this short effort is a must do! From the top of the castle you can enjoy an amazing view onto the sea. The castle apparently also contains a museum.

The castle has one of the best views of Cesme. Most of the museums inside is war themed, especially you will learn about the naval battle of Cesme. There are couple of ancient pieces also. But I would skip the castle if you are disabled or have bad knees since you have to climb a lot of stairs. Entrance was 25 TL, I think it is free if you have the natinoal museum card.

Beautiful complex with a lot of interesting exhibits on the region’s history. For English speakers, I thought the translations were well done- better than at other sites in the area. The staff was also very friendly.

I found it very interesting and informative. There is so much to see and read! The view from the top was the best!

My visit to the castle in Çesme was quite enjoyable. The location is easy to access and has a great view. The content within is satisfactory, carrying a variation from ancient items on display to more recent, 18th century ones. One can freely walk inside the castle and visit its numerous chambers and walkways. The only negative was waiting on queue outside to get in, unprotected from the sun. Overall, definitely worth a visit.

a reasonably accessible castle with many slopes instead of steps to make it easy to see around ..great view of the Marina from the top and nice display of artifacts. The entrance fee is reasonable though the shop has a very meager selection for sale

We visited the castle in about 1h. There are several exposition inside the castle showing ancient currency, history of the close by wars, pottery and glass making. The exterior of the castle is really good for picture of the city and sea. Part of the visit is on top of the castle walls, which can be really hot during summer days

Absolutely beautiful Historical building.if you are into architecture and or history, hours can be spent in this castle. it does take however, a certain degree of physical fitness to be able to climb the many levels of stairs. Beautiful views

Despite booking an online reservation and pre-paying the entrance fee we were not allowed in. They re-sold our tickets and the beach was full. The mannerism of the staff was despicable, they at least had some humanity in them since they accepted to refund our tickets. Such a shame, looked like a nice venue.

Very nice place to relax in, though it was pricey but the sea was one of the best seas I’ve swam in the place is neat and the workers are helpful but the food was to expensive with extra charges on service

Unfortunately, as a Turk, I cannot recommend this place to you. First of all, you have to pay an entrance fee of around 30euro per person, in return they give you only 1 umbrella and 4 sun beds for 4 people to use. Of course 2 people burn under the sun!!! The food is okay-ish but the service is very slow. The staff constantly pass you to each other, you don't even know who to deal with. Unless you are a multi-millionaire, you are NOTHING in this place!!!!

They are still the best in Cesme area, in terms of quality and price. They also treat better to the people in the entrance. (Not too kind but not rude - still the best attitude, as I know many of the beach clubs in that area) However, we had problems finding a person in charge. It took 30 minutes to order a pizza, we have been having this problem since the last year. (it's not from the language, as we know Turkish as well)

In contrary to the negative reviews me and my husband are positive. The beach is very beautiful although the water is colder than in other places. Let’s say refreshing. Funny fish kibbeling at your feet. Free fish pedicure ;-) The entourage looks nice with plenty of beds and shade. The parking is for free and well maintained. Bar personal very friendly with a special shout out to Cem who is an authentic cocktail shaker. Free fruit salad at the bar.

Very nice location crystal clear beach. Very crowded. Not easy to find space. Entrance fee 90 turkish lira. Nothing included in that price. There is no Wifi. For me it is a bit disappointing. Drinks starting from fizzy 18tl beer 35tl and on. Food starting from chips 22tl toasted bread 36tl burgers 46 pizza 60 etc prices may vary. Overall a cosy place a bit pricey. DJ playing 70 percent old fashioned songs but there was chilling crowd. Everyone seems enjoying. I am not sure I will visit again but definitely a must try place

Most beach clubs in Alacati are more see and be seen. FLY-Inn is one of the oldest in the region and I had heard different opinions before the visit. The visit was a dream. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our cabana. The entrance fee is linked to a minimum spend of 1'250 Lt, which is no problem if you spend the whole day there. The complex is very large and really well maintained. There are several bars, 2 restaurants and a resident DJ who takes care of the good vibes. The service in the VIP area is great. You are taken care of all around. Prices are moderate by beach club standards. The food was a dream. High quality and freshly prepared. For me personally, one of the best beach clubs in Alacati and therefore definitely worth a visit.

The place and beach are really nice. The staff is friendly and welcoming. However almost anybody speaks English which makes it really hard to get understood. They charge an entrance fee (20€) and depending the location of the sun bed you choose you are required to pay extra consumption combos (up to 100€). The place is not worth that kind of money. So better to go with the 20€ option and pay only for what you want to eat/drink. At the moment of checkout they become very insistent of getting payed in cash (I find this very funny as the main sponsor is American Express).

One of the best places in the cesme entry is 90 lira per person free parking perfect beach clear water no moss or anything. You can ride a moterski for 10 minutes for 200 lira but 15 minutes is 270 lira. You can ride on a canoe, giant banana and also use a wakeboard. Great experience would totally recommend and come again.

Never go there if you are foreigner! Never! They treat you like a cash machine! We’ve been charged for 2 juices from a cartoon box and one water 300 TL and the water said that they bring us non alcoholic cocktails, which was a lie, then we called the manager and she protected the waiter of course! Very very disappointed of Casme! You cannot compare at all with Greece and Bulgaria!

Rise & Shine Beach Club I could write poetry about how I hate places that are beautifully designed but employ people that make you feel like they are doing you a favor by letting you in or make you work for it even though you are paying 100 Lira. When we were at the entrance, the employee claimed that we needed a reservation to get in even though we know for a fact that our friends entered an hour before without one. Then they told us it’s because it’s over crowded and that if our friends come to the gate then they will let us in. What is this a game? Am I not a paying customer? If they don’t want to let us in because it’s at full capacity is a perfectly understandable reason, but please do Not make up lame excuses like needing a reservation or knowing someone because that makes it look like they are liars and I don’t like giving my money to phonies who don’t know how to treat human beings with respect and honesty.. like letting us stand on the street to wait for them “to decide whether or not they will let us in”, especially in a location far away from the city. This is not classy and definitely not a high-end experience.

The Place is really nice and the beach was very clean I must say that the bar staff were awesome HOWEVER What really messed up the experience and the reason why I would give it a 2 star rating is that the front desk staff or the manager to be precise is the reason. We took a taxi to reach the place as some local friends recommended it. But when we arrived they said that you can only get in with a reservation. Luckily, our friends were inside and one of them came out to get us in and had to wait in her swimsuit in the street until the manager decide to come back and with a very inappropriate face expressions she ALLOWED US IN REALLY WE ARE PAYIN LG 100TL to get in and we are a couple but they are managing this place as if it was a high end club It is ridiculous I do not want to take away from the place how nice and clean it was. But the manager at the entrance should probably be replaced with someone more understanding and without throwing these lies. Because we know for a fact that our friends went in yesterday and today without any reservations. In general, you will get obnoxiousness vibes through out your experience there. I would recommend the area as it is beautiful but definitely not to deal with this kind of front desk staff.

This is a private beach club that costs 60 Liras to have access to the hotel pool with a bar and food and also access to the private beach that includes towels and sun chairs with umbrella's. Worth the money but they don't speak much English as it was hard to order food and drinks if it was not on the menu.

Very bad service - especially for the paid money. Before entering the place they check your bagage/bags for drinks and food. Havent experienced this chocking experience in other beach clubs (i have been to lots of different beach clubs in different countries and even in Turkey). Bad music and the beach is too stony. Only good thing is the clear and clean water. I would not recommend this place!

The best beach in Turkey. Clean water, soft sand. Looks like the caribbean. And above all, the place is quiet and peaceful.

A very beautiful beach whith white sand. The water is small, transparent and warm. Unfortunately access to the public beach is blocked by the owners of the private beach as they do everything possible to pay them 100 turkish lira per person- 2020 course. We did not engage in these bandit practices and we easily crossed a side road to enjoy free nature! Last edit: I returned in August 2022. Now the access to the public beach is no longer fenced. So we can enjoy the beauty of this beach together with the family. But more people more garbage. Of course you can have free access to the restaurant on the private beach.

Long, beautiful and clean sandy beach, with shalow sandy water. Perfect for kids and families. The only downside is the lack of the parking space. You need to leave the car by the road few hundred metres from the beach if you don't want to pay for the entrance to the beach club, which is located on the beginning of the beach.

The beach is lovely, but between the conquest of „beach clubs“ and paid visits you get annoyed very fast. (They take 300 TL to get in - why?) I can recommend „Ibo‘nun yeri“. He only took 40 TL per person and even gave us sun shades and beach chairs. Still this is a small area of a very big coast. Why shouldn’t this be publicly available? It’s so sad that people strive for exclusivity and get exploited or even ripped off by beach clubs.

It's a free public beach, not far from Izmir, the water is beautiful and clean and not deep at all. The beach is sandy and soft

Beautiful beach, golden sand, cristal-clear water! The private beach is very clean and comfortable, only 100 TL per person, has a nice bar and very clean toilet. We spent an entire day here and enjoyed it a lot! The public beach is dirtier, unfortunately, and there is no shade. But the beach is still long and beautiful and the water is clean. I hope it will get cleaned soon!

What a day at this beautiful beach, granted I went on low season (end of September) so the crowd was manageable. Felt like the people there were very friendly. About the coast, CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER. It’s very shallow, you can swim 20 m from the beach and still touch the sand. Beware of sea urchins 🆘 though not an eminent risk, if you head to the cornered rocks, they are hiding underneath. Perfect spot for a sunset 🌅. You can rent a beach umbrella, the guy there has beverages and local vendors walk by with corn and mussels. One tiny downside — 😭 the amount of littered tobacco buds 🚬 how sad. I am a smoker and it isn’t hard to just throw it in the bin. There is big bins everywhere.

Loved the water and natural rock formations, hated how crowded and dirty it was. People camp out here for days and destroy the beauty of nature. I guess I recommend coming when it's not summer but then you can't get in the water... so sad.

Nice beach with clean and turquoise sea and easy for parking, the road is not the best but not bad after all and easy to reach, but one of the problem is cigarette butts and rubbish, there are everywhere, people smokes and throw the cigarette butt to the sand, I don't understand why they don't keep their rubbish and throw it to the bins at the entrance.

Nice schistous/chalk white beach with easy accessibility by private car. Water is turquoise blue and clean. Very nice for snorkelling experiences. But be careful for sea urchins, water shoes are recommended. Furthermore no lifeguard and no umbrellas to rent. A friendly older man is selling alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages from a caravan. To summarise this, it’s nice beach to spent a day but you need to bring camping stuff with you. Within a 5 minutes driving distance are “Cleopatras Caves” located.

So sad that such an amazing place being so rude used by bad people who not hesitate to trow empty bottles, sigars and other junk everywhere around. Place is very polluted. To make some pictures i took a broom with me to clean background of waste...

You can’t miss this drive , it’s nice thrilling and also the beach is beautiful unfortunately we were not able to spend much time on the beach but it’s lovely views of water and white beach. Highly recommended to visit and spend the time there.

Really beautiful setting but such a shame that there is litter everywhere. Cigarette butts, empty plastic bottles, melon rinds, you name it. We found a spot that was a bit cleaner and still had a nice time but this beach could be five stars if it were cleaned up. Fairly crowded on a Sunday in August, and unfortunately cars everywhere including right down on the beach. Big waves and deep water makes it fun for swimming.
