Alert ⚠️ slippery floors and streets. Can not emphasize enough how careful you need to be when walking through the whole city. Marble paving and rocks throughout the whole city. It was an amazing experience I did not expect. Learning the local stories of this place and relearning what you are taught in school.

It was a nice experience. Something unique, beautiful place. You can feel the history. It was a bit hot, 40 degrees Celsius, but it was worth it. Museum pass awards discount in inside shops for coffee, water, juices etc.

Really enjoyable half day trip. Booked via our holiday company so had a guide who was very knowledgable. We were lucky that is was quiet, I can imagine it being really busy in peak season. Nicely leaked out and the museum was very good; it’s more of a cinema experience as you move through rooms with a 3D video that plays out around you If you are a bit unsteady on your feet then some of the walkways may be hard as you are walking on the marble that can be slippery. Slow and steady and you will be fine

This place is beautiful, well worth seeing. If you don’t get a tour guide I definitely recommend at least reading and watching a few YouTube videos about it beforehand just to be able to appreciate the significance of the theatre and the ancient city of Efes. I wasn’t impressed by the 70₺ audio guide. 120₺ entrance (April 2022) you can also enter with a museum card (70₺) if you are a resident or citizen of Turkey.

A place good to know the ancient history and make good photos. Need to wear good sneakers and a hat or cap as well as glasses to prevent the sunshine. Good for walking. Outside the museum got some shops and a market place to eat.

One of the largest archaeological sites in the world. A marvelous feat of architecture as it is situated in the best possible location for the best acoustic function. Don't forget....those times no digital technology was in operation....only mathematical thinking 🤔 well worth a visit 🙂

I’ve been to a lot of ruins but ancient ephesus is the best of all of them. The size is unbelievable. They have only excavated approximately 20% of this place and is still overwhelming. I would get there first thing as some days can be quite crowded. Make sure you wear good shoes and bring water.

It's very historical and fascinating. However the ticket price is outrageous!!! 40 euro for ruins?? I know it is historical and quite big (not so much) but the 40 euro is just too much. We didn't have a choice as we already arrive there, we don't want to go back just like that. The experience museum at the end was quite nice with all the video mapping and the staffs were kind and nice 🙂 (well for that price everyone should be nice)

A nice ancient attraction to be included during your trip. You will spend there 3-5 hours all around, with entrance fee free for students but normal guests 200tl.

One of the best historical sites you should see in Turkey. 🎭 This ancient theater has been preserved and maintained very well. It has a breathtaking view up facing the ancient ruins and beautiful forest 🌳 If you have a museum card which allows you to enter pretty much all museums in Turkey, you’ll be able to skip the long queue and yet will pay less.

Really cool to come and see in person!! It’s really big with so many steps. I think they put performances on there to. Great for taking photos. There are so many steps but be careful when walking around cause it’s really slippery. Overall really cool place to look at!

Is a mix roman-greek theatre. The whole ancient city is amazing. And a special guide like Ezra made it even more spectacular. Ephesus took the best from Rome and Petra and gave the traveller a complete and wonderful experience. Be aware of the highest temperature (+10 always from the seaside) took some water with you, and a good guide

Beautiful, historic, you can feel the ambient of an ancient city. Advice: dont go there during summer as is can be very hot! If you still go, be prepared with parasol, light white long sleeve shirt and a lot of water...

Must-see attraction when in the area! It exceeded my expectations. It would have been nice to visit with a guide but you can also ask for a free audio guide when buying tickets. It does get hot here but there are places to buy drinks and snacks on either end and also one place in the middle by the library. There are trees and spots throughout that help provide shade when touring. It is best to go early or late in the day. The only thing we wish they had was an evening hour in the summer where you could be there for golden hour.

I have to say this place was incredible. Way bigger than I thought with so much to see and was magical walking through this historic site. Definitely recommend to go check it out, but try to get there before the bus rush so you can have the place more to yourself and more quiet.

We did all the walking around in 3 hours but this will definitely depend on you. January is great as there are not many tourists and prices of hotels are cheaper.

Amazing, very beautiful site. No waiting at the entry gate because we were early. No drone filming allowed without applying for permission in advance. The terrace houses is completely covered and cost extra, -1 for that.

Awesome structure. The magnificent theater of Ephesus is a beautifully preserved and very impressive building. This structure, built of marble, has a width of 145 metres, and the height reached up to 30 meters. When operating at full capacity, it could accommodate 24,000 spectators.

Amazing!! One of the most impressive ancient sites I have visited. The library is out of this world. We stayed for around 2/3 hours to properly see everything. The audio tour will provide you with some good information regarding the sites you visit. I would also recommend getting tickets for the Terrace Houses. We were so impressed by the frescoes and mosaics. Definitely worth the extra lira (if you buy the combined ticket at the gate, you get a little discount in comparison to buying the ticket inside).

This is a wonderful historical place to go in Turkiye. It’s near the one of the best places which has amazing beaches, Kuşadası and Izmir. You can visit easily in your holiday. And also you can visit numerous historical places in Turkiye. If you have more time, you should try to go the others.

Me and my husband visited with a tour guide who spoke to us about the history of Ephesus. It was a very cool place to see. We came during the colder months (January) and our tour guide said that was the best time just due to less crowds. We were able to take some pictures in front of the Library of Celsus with no people in the background.

We visited February 2022, it was winter season back then. But oludeniz beach was still bearable. The water was chilling cool, but visiting the place was worth it for the view and atmosphere. Since it was non-peak season, we had the beach all to ourselves.

Excellent beach, super quiet in march, but still plenty of beach bars and restaurants open. No sunbeds on the beach but were more than happy with our towels on the beach. The water drops deep fairly quickly, maybe this is better in the lagoon area.

My first visit on 27th February. So calm and peaceful energy in here. Definitely revisit.

The most beautiful beach in the world. When you look up, there are parachutes in the sky, when you look at the sea, the glass blue sea. I recommend you rent a canoe and visit the blue lagoon.

It’s one of the most beautiful places in Fathiya, worth tying, the color of the water, the mountains around the place, it’s the most beautiful beach in the world. Easy access, you can swim, do paragliding over the hill on the top of the mountain, it’s one of the incredible experience there. Well recommended

This beach is incredible. You can reach it by car or walking easily. It is very clean and entrance is for free, you just have to pay for your chezlongs which was 120 T.L for two. There are a bunch of affordable activities that you can perform as well but be careful there are some places more expensive than others. The beach is expectedly extremely crowded. They offer food but i didn't check the menu.

It's a beautiful place, the only drawbacks I can mention are, first THE TRAFFIC and second how rocky the beach is. There is only one road to get to this area and unless you go really early in the morning or late in the evening, be prepare to spend at least 1 hour in your car or public transportation, moving really slow. And for the second one, in pictures seems to be a beautiful sandy beach, but it's only pebbles there. It's hard to get in and out the water because walking on the rocks is painful. Nevertheless, of you're looking for an amazing experience, go for parachuting there. The experience is OUT OF THIS WORD and having and up view of all that area is priceless. Highly recommended.

Beautiful beach. Paragliding paradise for around €60 for a tandem jump. Once in a lifetime experience. Overpriced restaurants on the beach. Buy your snacks from the supermarket. Stunning blue sea. Cable car also doing if you have time

I went in the quiet season so temperature was between 18-25 degrees and there was no overcrowding but the beach is mainly a pebble beach therefore its not great to walk bare foot and it's not nice to sit on. Still OK for a nice walk though. I usually go for a swim in the sea when on holiday but i didn't feel like i would be comfortable swimming here. There are plenty of lounges and places to eat and drink by the beach too. Was good positive was the free toilets on the beach.

It is a quiet beach to enjoy at Fethiye.. lots of good cafes, eateries and a small market nearby if you want a quick break from the shacks :)

A nice beach with beautiful surroundings however nature is not respected. Imagining what this place would have been before all the shops and restaurants is disheartening, they are ruining what could have been a quiet nature beach. Also, the cigarettes everywhere really is disgusting, wish these people dropping them could have their stomachs full of cigarettes like the turtles and fish will.

Our tour guide said he didn't like this beach and I really can't understand why, maybe cause it can be busy and crowded but when we went in October it had the feel that it was big enough that the crowding didn't matter. (Potentially not as great jb peak season). We had walked here from Kayaköy so the water looked amazing as we arrived, and once we finally got in I was amazed how warm it was and it got deep so quickly! In NZ I'm always scared of the fish and shark potential but for some reason I really wasn't worried here, which I was happy about being in water that was so deep I couldn't even find the bottom. There's lots of entertainment watching the paragliding and the inconing ships. Absolutely my favorite beach I've ever been to

Very lively place. Traffic can be a bit too much, even taxis refuse to take us to our hotel. Other than that really lovely place friendly people.

I was amazed by the views, and the clearness of the sea. Definitely, my favorite place will definitely come back again.

Very unfair and unprofessional business of a pool owner in the Marina - no any discount for late coming guests. You have to pay 6 euros even if you came 10 minutes before closing. Such a greedy approach is a disgrace to Turkish hospitality.

The most dishonest marina I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I paid $7000CAD for a 3 month contract to sell my boat with an agreement that they would refund balance when the boat sold minus 25%. I sold the boat after one month (off peak season) and had 2 months which should have been refunded (peak season prices) they changed the numbers as they saw fit and refunded me only $700CAD for the 2 months at peak season prices. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY AND SETUR WILL NOT BACK YOU UP EVEN IF YOU HAVE AN ANNUAL CONTRACT. I would recommend only to my worst enemies.

not a bad place to walk in the evening

It used to be very nice and friendly, in the last two years prices have become unreasonable. Let me explain: first of all is very noisy at night (both from night clubs but also fron other boats partying) but the worst thing is the high speed powerboats entering or leaving the marina. So once in while unexpected waves come out of the blue. Additionally the behavior of certain staff + the refusal to speak English has become funny! There is a rule in marketing called "willingness to pay", i don't mind the higher BUT downgrading the quality of your services is serious.

Very nice well designed place with whatever a sailor can need such as warm water, every time clean big spaced toilets with hair dryer. Good shopping area with many cafes restaurants and sailing shops, a very close super market just next to marine, close to heart of Marmaris just a few minutes walk you are in castle historic area and bar streets.

Similar to its counterpart in Fethiye. The mooring fees are ok. If you dont leave by 8 AM you will get charged more. Departure at 11 AM will cost you more. The beachfront is very lively - and noisy - in the evening but offers great entertainment to those who want to party. Very quiet in February 2024.

5* location 5* service 5* #accessible 3* water space 1* tranquility Great marina right in the city, with good proposals in prices specifically for the small boats. All paths and pantones are accessible and comfortable to move around. The only one minus is a veeery narrow path for the boats to moore.. just toooo tight. And, as you may guess its quite noisy at nights from the resraurants along the harbour.. but thats the price of being in the city.

The marina is impeccably clean and well run, the town has everything you cod need to refit your boat with. Most of the mariners speak good English and are very helpful and the technical support is also readily available. It is also a very safe and secure marina with someone attentively patroling on a tender through the night .

Beautiful, luxurious marina. The view from the marina is absolutely breathtaking too! Gorgeous place to walk, has a lot of name brands including Paul and Shark and Jeans Lab. Also the lavatories are extremely clean! Has plenty of cafes to sit: I fully recommend Kahve Dunyasi for coffee & icecream, and Pineapple for meals with beautiful sea/boat/mountain views. Hope they continue the same quality within Netsel.

They know what to do. Good service with professional people. For your boat water is free, you need card for electricity. Anything you need for your boat, any kind of service or repair is available.

Very interesting, fun and unique place to hike or spend the day. Parking is 45Tl, entrance is 16Tl for adults. Just a bit after you enter, you will find a picnic and rest area where there’s food and drinks (meals, corn, ice cream, doughnuts, coffee/tea…)… lots of tables and benches in the water… and they also either sell or rent rubber shoes for the canyon (renting one pair is 60Tl). Honestly, we hiked the canyon barefoot and really enjoyed it, it wasn’t painful or unpleasant for us… but most people either rented/bought water shoes or wore street shoes. The water in the canyon is not deep, maximum knee height, otherwise barely any water (in summer). The water at the picnic area is absolutely ice cold because of fresh strong streams coming in. People have fun or bathe in the ice water, it’s exhilarating! Once you pass the turbulent cold water (there’s a rope to hold on to), then everything is calm and the water is warm. The canyon is about 1.5km… after that they recommend to go further only with a guide. Guides are waiting at the 1.5km point. I don’t know how much it is. At the very entrance of the park they offer free hard hats/helmets… most people don’t use one but you can if you want. The canyon gets more and more narrow and interesting as you go. The way back is the same way you go. It’s cool enough inside the canyon in summer, and I didn’t wear a hat or sunglasses. I recommend to put your phone in a waterproof case and to have a backpack. Have a swimsuit and towel too for the cold water bathing. We stayed there a while, maybe 4hrs… to sit and enjoy and also took many photos inside the canyon. I really recommend seeing this place it’s refreshing change from the beach and summer heat!

This is a deep canyon. You are walking over the suspension bridge to a water source. You can drink water from where the water comes out. A nice place to cool off on hot summer days. After that, you cross the river and start walking in the canyon. Be sure to have shoes suitable for walking in water. It is difficult to pass some places in the canyon. After a certain point, do not walk without professional support.

Great experience walking up the gorge to the waterfall. 40TL admission per person plus 50TL car park. Silicone shoes available for 150TL per pair. They are better than nothing but ideally wear some trainers that you can get wet and muddy. We were in a group with two guides who knew where to cross the water safely. 10 EUR per person and I recommend them. Pay at end of tour. Cash only and no ATMs here.

Beautiful spot, would be a nice walk but the water was high. Walking the board walk you can get to spot that has some seating was very nice. I believe that the cost was around 13 TL. We would recommend stopping as the gorge is incredibly beautiful. 3btraveler

Great fun. Don't bring a decent camera if you want to walk in the gorge. I went as far as the water coming up to my waist and then I turned back as didn't want my camera gear getting wet. Would love to repeat in a pair of old trainers. Don't even attempt in flip flops, either buy or rent the jelly shoes they have there. Great fun and beautiful scenery.

Great place to visit if you enjoy more active experiences. Definitely get yourself silicone socks/shoes which are being sold before the entrance and avoid colours. The clay itself can stain so wear black or older clothes. An experience to be remembered! Recommend it!

A very unique and enjoyable experience. Definitely needs to be on the bucket list of anyone visiting Turkey. Walking through the canyons is a surreal and humbling experience. Trust me when I say that no amount of pictures ever do justice to the magnanimity of the place. Go ahead and experience it for yourself! There are some great eateries at the entrance of the park. The souvenir shops are beautiful and have some really unique items not overly priced. If you are adventurous then you can even enjoy a 5km river rafting experience

It's extremely interesting place with amazing views. Water is quite cold, it's better to go in a sunny warm day.) Pay attention that most of the road is covered by dirty water- it's better to buy or to take special watershoes. And don't be afraid of the guide- he will definitely make you trip more comfortable and safe. Price is 18 lira for entrance, 50 lira for boots and 150 lira for guide per person( at least that's what we were asked to pay)

We went as a party of nine as part of a safari excursion. It was exhilarating, exciting and a bit of an adventure. When the water is high as it was after a couple of days of rain it is difficult to keep your feet in places. The water can be very powerful and extremely cold, crystal clear in places and literally like a mud bath in others. Take a spare set of clothes because you are going to get soaked, you will also need strong beach/water shoes or something sensible that won't come off your feet in the water. You can actually hire or buy these on site if you prefer. Prepare to get wet and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

As a place its beautiful the naturalspringwateris very cold and refreshing, the entrance is 23tl per person which is reasonable. The only thing that drove me crazy are the prices inside, 15 tl for a cub of tea is toooo much , 50 tl for a corn is just crazy. Plus you have to pay 50tl to park the car is also too expensive. It was a great experience for me , but they have to lower the prices, its just a rip off😤

This is a beautiful place to go. My advice is to get there first thing and you need to wear surf shoes, def not flip flops. It prob takes a good couple of hours to walk as far as you can in, then sit by the river and watch the people go down on rubber rings with a cool drink.

It was a very fun but dangerous adventure walking through the canyon. If you wanted to get to the canyon, you’d had to walk down in a very, extremely cold cascading water, running down from some slippery rocks. Once down you have to walk a bit through the canyon to get to the waterfall. Which was cool. However, to get to the actual waterfalls you needed a guide. an expensive one who decided, depending where you are from, how much you should pay. He told us we needed to pay €10,- per person (300 TL per person). We passed.

I would definitely recommend this place. The views are stunning, and they make you feel so small. 😅 the walk trail is pretty long itself, but if that's not enough, you could take an instructor and go further getting a bit of rock climbing experience. Just keep in mind- the price that the instructor gives you is never the last price... 😏😉

Our visit to Saklikent National Park was awesome! Even in the off-season, the folks there were incredibly friendly. They went the extra mile by providing us with river shoes, making it possible for us to explore the canyon in December. Kudos to the team for making our experience so enjoyable and accommodating! The only "chill" part was the water – super, super, super cold! But it definitely added an adventurous twist to the experience. 🥳

This is amazing place must vist from Fethiye. You trek in water which just above knee level so wear shorts and rubber shoes important to walk comfortably on stones. You can have mud bath for free

Excellent way to spend the afternoon, walking along the wall pathway into the Gorge/Canyon. It's an easy stroll, but being in the water. 🤔. ice cold and slippery boulders should you want to cross over to walk further into the canyon.Nice place to relax and chill out.The area around the Gorge has your usual trinket stalls, restaurant's,and some very nice chill out areas also, where you can loung around in the water.

Definitely our happy place, the roar of the water cascading down just wonderful, come away feeling peaceful and refreshed, then have a lazy meal down at the river restaurants...perfect

Take an extra pair of shoes like coral shoes that you can walk in water. 99% you don't need a guide here - it's a straightforward canyon. Come as early as you can to avoid crowds. Nice walk.

Walking through the cold water on the floor of the gorge felt so good. Not a strenuous hike with only 2 places were a help to climb upon. It's not dangerous, so hiring a guide is pointless. The waterfall is the same. Nice little restaurants choose wisely for value for money. Many activities for hire. Definitely worth a visit before 0930 or after 3pm to avoid the tour buses

I loved the place and wanted to stay for at least couple of hours, but we left within 20 minutes because many people brought their dogs and let the dogs wander around, and the dogs were "attacking" people, wether the dogs were attacking or playing with people, we couldn't stay and enjoy the sea. Its worth mentioning that the entrance to the beach has a sign stating that dogs are prohibited in the beach

İztuzu Beach is a beautiful, 4.5 km long sand beach near Dalyan in southwestern Turkey. It is one of the main breeding grounds for Caretta Caretta turtles and is therefore referred as the Turtle beach. These turtles are on the list of endangered animals. Although it was were nice boat trip and it is beautiful beach and place to see, I think it should be forbidden for tourists to come there and it is essential to preserve this place and preserve the turtles reproduction without stress of human interaction.

I liked this beach a lot. The fee is not that much (2€ per car, no matter how many people are inside it), there are public toilets and showers (with cold, salty water) and the beach is clean. The water doesn't get deep enough for swimming for more than 50meters which makes it ideally for kids. You can also visit the Turtle Hospital (which is located close to the entrance). There is also shadow under some pine trees, but if you arrive after 10am most probably you will find it already occupied. At times it gets very windy. The restaurant inside has reasonable prices.

Beautiful, it is where the turtles go to lay their eggs. The surf is calm, the water is clear, the beach is clean. Lovely part of the world.

Beautiful beach and we were lucky we saw the turtles, the ride on the boat thro the river is stunning. You sail thro the reeds and see the burial caves. One not to miss.

Beautiful unspoilt beach that is home to nesting loggerhead turtles- a quick visit to the turtle sanctuary is worth a look, it's small but the work they do is great.

Nice place. When we went it was free but I think you would pay in season. Can't camp here. Beach is clean and had all facilities. Visit the injured turtle hospital. This is free, they provide a really nice description of the work carried out and you can donate or buy some merchandise.

One of the best beaches in Turkey. 5 km white sand beach, have places on sun beds and authentic places with no people. Fall in love with this beach

A perfectly clean beach with the perfect view and settings all around. You can reach this beach via small boats that are always available. The beach coast is very long, it won't appear crowded as much as crowded as it gets. The water is crystal clear and the sand and water are both clean there are even sea turtles! You can rent 2 small beach beds at 80 T.L as well or you can simply grab ur towel and sit near the water on the sand. A great way to spend your day where you will enjoy ur time during the boat trip and see some old sculptures kn the mountains which were apparently old graves and enjoy ur time at the beach as well ⛱. Those are photos on our way. And only 1 *with added stickers to cover up some ppl* when we reached as we were short on time.

The beautiful sandy beach was worth driving 1,5h from Marmaris. Plenty of space and shallow, clear warm water. The sea can be a bit rough but it only gives more fun. The car fee is only 50 TL and then 50TL for sunbeds...bud because there are so many people coming and leaving there's a good chance you will get sunbeds for free. There's a cheap bar with showers and changing rooms.

Just an all round stunning place. Lovely sandy beach, amazing views, parking and the facilities including beach bar/ restaurant, changing rooms and toilets. There is a turtle rescue on the plot which is free and worth a visit too. We drove from marmaris in about 90 mins and was well worth the drive.

My favorite beach in Turkey, a national park and a turtle nesting place, with a small museum/hospital near the entrance where they fix wounded turtles. Huge, pristine stretch of sand between the sea and the river estuary. You can take a public taxi boat from Dalyan for 30 tl per person both ways, about one hour spectacular ride through the reeds, the last boat back to Dalyan leaves at 5 pm.
