The most beautiful beach I've visited, especially if the Mistral (Maestrale) Wind is blowing because this causes the water to be calmer and clearer. Check with the locals to find out which wind is blowing (Maestale or Scirocco winds). The beach and Island are protected so obey the rules, such as no beach chairs allowed, and beach umbrellas are allowed only on the first half of the beach. The water is amazing, warm and has tiny fishes swimming there. The sand is white and fine grain. It's about a 10-minute walk down from the street level by a dirt and stone path. There are 3 (or 4?) rest stops along the way down. Bring comfortable shoes for the trek. The bar is at the street level if you want to grab food, drinks, use the bathroom or rent a beach umbrella. None of this is available on the beach.

Paradise beach, we were lucky to visit in low season so no pre booking or entry limits were in place. I recommend to visit when it’s less windy then water is calm like in the pool. There are plenty of fishes like in aquarium visible even without the snorkeling kit. Beach is divided into two parts, one where it’s possible to use umbrellas and the other one without them. Beautiful place!

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen!! The sea water is transparent , there are a lot of fishes and it is just amazing!! But be ready, it is not easy to reach and as it is a natural reserve, there is no service on the beach. So, bring umbrella, food and water with you! There is only one bar near the the road, but from the bar to the beach you have to go downhill around 20 min! Near the bar you can rent umbrella, but it is quite heavy! We bought one in supermarket and it was cheaper than to rent it. My suggestion is to wear the comfortable shoes, not flip flops, as this was our mistake at first day. Try to come as early as possible to find a good place))

This beach is just incredible. Book in advance or prepare to wait in line for 1 hr to get in (there’s room for 150 ppl without appointment).

Gorgeous!!! Parking is paid - 0.70e/h for motos, and you walk a bit more than 1km down and on the way back - up; very good exercise. Closes at 19.30h when the boys and girls from the local nature club start cleaning. There are no toilets, water or anything on the beach - just what you bring along - so, take an umbrella. However, at the parking there is a bar with everything necessary. IT IS WORTH EXPERIENCING.

A rare magical beach and one of the nicest in Italy or even Europe for that matter. Five stars for just that. Having written that, be prepared with everything that you need, because nothing is available at this beach, nothing! Wear comfortable walking/hiking footwear as the walk is long and downhill with not all paved. My Tevas sandals were fine. Some people even wore flip flops. But, I would not recommend it. There is a bar at the entrance before entering the protected park that has bathrooms, drinks, snacks, etc. Umbrellas are available to rent there too. You can not rent or get an umbrella on the beach. There is no shade on this beach, at all. So be prepared for an intense sunny experience. The sand is soft and wonderful with spectacular water. This place is very crowded in summer as it is the most famous beach on the island. Get there early!

Beautiful place to visit or volunteer. I have volunteered here for the past two weeks and was welcomed with open arms. The goal is to help the sea turtles and release them when they are better, it is truly amazing!

Amazing place I appreciate what you do for the turtle..just a small thing: I asked for be volunteer and one man helped me to speak with 2 girls from london very kind ..then came another italian girl work there she was looking at me so badly ..she was a bit rude not one smile or welcome I felt by her

There should be international collaboration to rescue and save the turtels.

Beautiful beach with sunbeds and nice bar!

Small beach with a nice bar/restaurant. Very nice hard working staff. One of the few places with nice umbrellas to rent and with a shaded bar overlooking the beach cove. This beach can get quite crowed. So, plan to get there early. All of the customers eating lunch arrived like clockwork at 13:00/1:00 PM. If you want prompt service and a good table, be seated by around 12:30 PM. Food quality was quite good too. Cost for two seafood salads, two vegetable plates, one desert, a beer, bottle of water and two cafes was 53.00 euros.

Nice water colours on the outside. Once in: crazy overcrowded - literally a man per every m2 all the way, with no space to cross anywhere! Sand is fine but not clean. And the water - polluted from the port and ships, some days clean, some days smells of diesel and feels oily. There are medusas and ticks in the water. Depending on the wind, might be good for swimming. Most people go there just to sit under the umbrellas and go knee deep in the water. 2 bars, restaurants and 2 beach-stuff shops. The Social place.

Came here in December. Beautiful beach but broken glass everywhere especially near the water. Be very careful especially with children.

The biggest beach at the Lampedusa island. Beach chairs paid EUR 10 per person, but after long discussion. Initially we have been told it is EUR 25. When started discussing the ridiculousness of the price, suddenly it become 10. Minus for cutting the tourists and a poor information on the facility. As a place, where you deal with tourists on a daily basis, it would be desired to speak at least a decent English level...

A favorite of Italian customers returning year after year. They know how to navigate to the place and reserve their spots. Upon arrival getting information out of the manager, a rather salty man in nature, was like pulling teeth for us newcomers, never everything that was asked, one little piece of information at a time, but in a friendly manner, always with a smile. However, a couple of hours later, the rest of the staff arrived and completely changed the atmosphere to a wonderful jewel of a place bringing it to life. They were delightful, and I can see why so many customers want to return. A small beach with a limited amount of umbrellas and sun beds. Not much sand here, mostly rocks. Not handicap friendly with a very steep grade with loose gravel. Very much crowded! If you plan to come here, you need to reserve/order everything (except drinks) from the place to lay in the sun, umbrella, sun bed(s) and food - at least a day in advance for the sun beds and umbrellas. The food was quite good and fresh, served from a simple food trailer. Plus, they gave us free stuff to just try on the house. Very generous! Very little to no English spoken for only English speaking customers. Lovely little place. Credit cards are not accepted here, and I did not see a bathroom to use either.

Place and service are amazing, the small bay is a gem. On a negative note it was the most expensive beach service we found on the island. Pity that I cannot review it as a 5 stars.

Beautiful beach and sea. Hospitality is fabulous. Great place for snorkeling. Strongly reccomend if you are in Lampedusa.
