Lovely to sit in one of the 'huts' with reggae music playing. Had delicious lunch of Ackee, Callalloo, plantain and rice and peas. Surrounded by 'jungle' planting. Would have given 5 stars but my elderly mum struggled a little on uneven planks. Otherwise a brilliant experience

We visited on a weekday, to try out the restaurant. Hadn't tried any of it before, our daughter loved the chicken nuggets, my partner had a lovely paying and I can highly recommend the vegan dish that I can't remember the name of, but the flavours were so unique. Amazing atmosphere (a bit cold inside, needs more heating). We visited a few years back in the summer, lively garden shop and beach area. I was upset to see the aviary had closed, that was a fantastic experience, it needs to co.e back with some added iguanas and tortois wondering around or a butterfly farm. I love this place and the metal art, I worry that its hoing down hill when it has heaps of potential.

We visited on Bank Holiday Monday. We walked to Akamba along the nearby canal to find ourselves transported to Africa! The metal sculptures of African wildlife in the gardens are very impressive and worth going to see in and of themselves. There was an event happening for the bank holiday so we decided to buy tickets and stay for the entertainment, food and had some rum cocktails. I felt like I was on holiday. We'll definitely come back for another event in future.

Was such a wonderful experience visiting today with my friend who loves it. The staff are just so friendly. A beautiful place to visit and food was wonderful. If you've never been I highly recommend visiting.

Very nice and interesting place. Good collection of plants and crafts. Has a good bar and restaurant which serves good range of food and cocktails too. All in all a good experience for families looking to take a break out in the weekend.

A recreation of a jungle type of watering hole/bar friendly greeting on entering by the Security staff, friendly bar staff, music entertainment was fantastic, the food was excellent, I really enjoyed the Goat curry with rice, very authentic Caribbean cooking style 😋

Visited many times before and have always enjoyed the themed restaurant. But this time, I really felt let down. My daughter paid a deposit a few weeks before arriving. But when we turned up at the time we'd booked - 12pm - the staff had no idea we were coming. It took almost 10 mins for them to get the table ready. When we were sat, there was a short wait and a drinks order was taken - the drinks soon followed. But it was 12:40 when our food order was taken. There were 9 of us and no other people in the restaurant! The food came and was very nice, and the lady serving was nice and friendly and as ever, it's a really cool setting. But I was very disappointed that having paid for a booking, the venue had not prepared for us. Oh, and didn't account for the paid deposit when totaling the final bill. (This money was refunded immediately after raising the concern).

Garden centre part not a lot to choose from, and as they are specialist plants, quite expensive, you can tell that a lot of the plants have been there for a long time, due to their size and price tag. The restaurant area looked amazing, a wonderful setting with all the iron animals and decor. We didn't purchase any food so couldn't comment on the food or drink, but there were plenty of people in there. The iron sculptures are wonderful! Such amazing detail, you can see all the hard work that goes into them.

Excellent African style restaurant. The vibe is so special that you probably can't find it in other places in UK. Try traditional food and breakfast is the way to start the day.

Imaginative garden centre. Had lovely chicken wings and a fresh coffee, which I think was with Kenyan beans.

Really cool place for a quick look around. We had a drink and a tuna melt was lovely. The sculptures are impressive. We enjoyed it and will be back when that way on again.

Great place to take the family for half a day. Nice big field for camping, if you're into that. There's a cafe and pizza restaurant if your hungry, thought there plenty of benches if you want to bring your own food. There's a small farm that has goats, chicken, sheep, lampas, pigs and horses which kids will thoroughly enjoy.

A very enjoyable day for the whole family. There's a lovely coffee shop for a refreshing cuppa. The children will love the farm which has many animals to see. For those who love walking then there's 6km countryside walk. There's a small park for kids and a campsite. The BEST thing it's FREE to see the animals and free car park.

We went camping for the bank holiday weekend. The camping field is lovely, and the facilities are clean and modern. There were only two showers for the campsite so had to queue at times, and there needs to be more bins with options for recycling. That said, the bins were emptied daily and the site was very clean and well cared for. There is a steam train which passes a couple of times a day which was lovely.. The kids loved the park area and we all enjoyed pizzas from the pizza barn, and coffees and pastries from the coffee shop in the morning. If you want a peaceful getaway in the countryside this is a perfect place. There was WiFi in the café but not in the camping field. It's all very dog friendly with a footpath/track to walk the dogs on.

Halloween fireworks display was great and the bonfire was very big. Only let down was the lack of fare rides and limited stalls selling food and kids light toys resulting in massive queues. There just wasn't enough to meet demand so hopefully more will be available next year.

Went there for coffee today, but turns out it offers soooo much more! The farm was amazing, plenty of animals to see. We were lucky to have met the farmer's son who was very friendly, showed us around and proudly fed all the animals like a pro! It is such a lovely day, my nephews had a great time seeing all the animals and playing in the play area. We will definitely visit again in Sep! :)

Their cafe serves great cakes and good coffee. Cosy and warm cafe in the winter. Great walking and a useful stopover in a bike ride. A lovely rural setting just outside Solihull. Some ducks, goats and chickens for kids to see. Pizza's in the barn are back at weekends in the summer until September.

Had a fabulous day out even though it was not such a pleasant day, plenty to do. Lots of shelter and really nice cafe. Very clean toilets and lovely warm water, not like some places where you have to wait for ages for warm water. Kids really enjoyed themselves, my sons 8 and had hours of fun in the new indoor play area.

Amazing place for a family day out. Lots of activities for children all ages, you can hold and feed animals. Pony rides are great idea, our 3 year old absolutely loved it. The park is clean, well organised, with great facilities. Clean toilets, big playground, a indoor soft play area. Tractor rides are fun for kids, we attended the Halloween ride, as well as pumpkin hunt and haunted barn. There's a little caffee with nice, fresh food and coffee, also a lot of space to sit outside and enjoy the views. We love the place!

This is a great little farm. It's less overdone than other local farm attractions. I prefer this as it keeps the animals the main attraction. You can see all types of British farm animals, have tractor trailer rides, pony rides and feed and handle some animals to a schedule. The café has a decent offering for adults and kids. They could probably do with a bit more outdoor seating: we had to sit inside on a beautiful day. The indoor play area is currently under renovation. The outdoor play area provides something for most kids up to about 12, I'd guess.

A lovely place to visit with children of all ages. We took wheelchairs & most areas were accessible, although a little bumpy in places. While we were there we fed the lambs & calves & were given a bag of food for the ducks too. It was quiet, so not too crowded. The children loved the sandy "beach" & the tractors. There are lots of animals to see and to hold. Definitely worth a visit.

Huge space near town. Good for a leisurely trot. Kids enjoyed the play area. Good seating options and signage.

Nice and calm park with a beautiful lake with Parkside benches. On a nice sunny day its a wonderful place to be.

Nice nature park, just get a free 🅿 ticket from machine for 3 hours and display on car dashboard and enjoy the beauty of the nature!

One of my favourite parks ! I attended the sixth form by the park so I used to go through it every morning & it was quite peaceful ! I love walking round to the lake area and watching the sunset - it was quite relaxing ! There is a nice scenic route - perfect for dog owners/ nature lovers , or anyone really :)

Love this park, particularly the nature trail, off the main park and great for kids to explore and learn about nature. Even the bug kids like me had a fab time I built a tree den. Such fun. 😁

Beautiful park, great for exercise and dog walks. You may link to some great public footpaths. Nice cafe for snacks and coffee though the area in front of the cafe now seems to be a car parking zone.

A very peaceful environment. Free parking for 3 Hours (but remember to display the ticket). There's a dog-friendly cafe (with toilet inside) in the park too. A perfect place for family and dog lovers.

Beautiful and large park with lots of trails. It's actually 2 parks connected as one. The lake was beautiful with a shallow part for wading. The kids loved it.

Really nice place for a walk. I live a few towns over and had never been. , there's a cafe and a large kids playground which is great. Loads of places to walk, several park areas and a wetland area. Limited toilet facilities and the car park is tiny though. Car parking is free for the 1st 3 hours and they got an attendant wandering around. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely park where they do race for life events on a yearly basis. The park consists of a large playground for children of all ages, picnic areas, hire a bike station, lake to feed the ducks and a centre with a free play area and a cafe with toilets inside. A good day out for the kids just a five minute walk from Touchwood shopping centre and on sunny days you can find an ice cream man.

A really lovely park. Lots of nice open spaces for running around and exercising your dog. A big range of fun equipment for children. Miles of winding paths and secluded tree lined footways to explore. Make sure you see the sweet chestnut tree. It's over 500 years old. Ample parking spaces.

Staying with friends in Solihull I was looking for a place for a walk and was introduced to Elmdon Park. This place is huge with loads of paths and trails. There’s a play area for the kids, a large pond or 2, football area and when you climb the hill there’s good views over the area. You could easily make up a 5 km walk. This park leads on to other open areas for an even bigger walk. Dog and kid friendly.

A great park for lots of activities. Lovely open spaces and trails for running / bike. Did see a woman 'walking' her dog in the tennis courts. Hope she cleaned up. Why 🤷🏼‍♂️ Very peaceful by the churchyard. Visit recommended

Lovely park, very big area to explore, the meadows are beautiful when dry can be very muddy in winter, good sized lake with hardstanding path and also option of woodland path, walled garden, large wooded areas to explore also. Playground, football pitch, tennis courts & stream too.

Lovely park to have a stroll through. Nice and relaxing, and there's plenty of wildlife on view too. Take in the air and get the scent of the trees and plants, just the tonic to unwind and to ease the stresses of everyday life.

Lovely large green space, perfect for dog walking. Lots of different walks of varying degrees, a nice flat route for those of us who are less mobile, steep inclines for the more energetic or a scenic lake walk etc. Large childrens play area. Car park is fine but can get full during summer months.

Lovely place to take your dog for a walk, lots of friendly people around. Nice view of the park from the top of the hill. A very steep hill if you have walking difficulties.

I love this park, kept really nice. Great area for children. Lovely lake with lots of ducks and the resident swans and their babies. Lots of history and organised history walks. Tennis courts, table tennis tables, goal posts. Everything you would want from a park.

Good sized local theatre which was really nicely furnished with comfy seats and not cramped. The cafe/ bar associated was great. A good choice of drinks and snacks. Fab gins on offer! Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant small venue with friendly volunteer staff. Excellent views of the stage from every seat. Had a great evening here and will keep an eye out for future events!

Great evening the theatre as alot of atmosphere nice seats can see wherever you sit. Cater for everyone young old able bodied or disabled everyone welcome. Lovely friendly staff a very enjoyable evening. Music of Lionel Richie.

Watched the Buddy Holly story at St John's Hotel as the theatre is closed. Buddy Holly is a star fabulous band ,great music loved it would definitely see again.

Went to the Core cafe,as the theatre is closed due to the Wraac. problem. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Also the meals are reasonably priced. I had a jacket potato with cheese & tuna&a pot of tea for just over £9

Went to see beauty and the beast recently (and Cinderella in Dec 21) and both times the experience has been pretty magical. The theatre is a little gem and we should use it more often!

Went to Desi central comedy show. Great show at nice decent-sized venue. Clear sound and good visibility of show from front to back of theatre. Served range of food and drink on site, also close parking at touchwood carpark.

Have been coming here for about 8 years now as both audience and performer and cannot fault the theatre staff from both sides of the curtain. Always friendly and smiling and will be more than happy to have a chat with you and ask how the show is going etc. The cakes are brilliant as well. Very yummy and moreish!! Cant wait for my next visit!!!

Really nice theatre. The production was really nice and enjoyable. Seats are really comfortable and they even have booster seats for children, but you have to request for them. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

My daughter likes it here but I do find the entrance charge of 50p per adult unfair and unnecessary especially when you consider the overly expensive prices of the food and drink. The plus side is that the staff were friendly, nice and helpful. I will go again but will avoid purchasing anything other than a drink for my daughter.

Went to visit with Family for father's Birthday. Seemed like nothing could go right with the food! Kids food was completely wrong, and had to find another venue to get food, as was completely unsuitable. Steak was raw, and staff seemed untrained. Manager (who was out back on a digger truck?!) discounted the entire meal.

First time visited here and my little one loved it. Great for small babies too as there's a baby area for under 2's plus great for big kids too. Lots of things for kids to do outdoors too. I will definitely be going back again :)

Awful, two young, untrained and very unsure staff at till, they also take orders and serve food, everything was chaotic and staff reprimanded in view of parents, the stars just so unprofessional and unfriendly. Little girls party almost ruined as staff almost cut the birthday cake into pieces before happy birthday was sung! Small play area, and expensive Also non Muslim told chicken is non halal Muslims told it's all halah, so everyone felt uncomfortable with the kids eating it.

A little over priced for what it is, considering there are better soft play areas locally, but not bad. The outdoor area is ok, but is surrounded by a small fence and then basically wasteland, which lets it down. Staff were a little grumpy too. Don't think I saw a single smile.

Will not be going again, staff were miserable and one lady in particular wasn't dressed appropriately for someone working with children. At one point, one of the two members of staff present began hot steaming the carpets with children around. The prices are ridiculously expensive as well. Wong be visiting again, neither will I recommend.

Kids loved it but some of the staff there are quite rude. We fely Thetford was a little lover priced too. The 'bucket' og chips is a small basket and definitely not worth the £2 paid. Such a shame because the barn itself is lovely and the kidskenjoy them themselves.
