Magic place if you have the chance to be alone. It happens in early September and then you can even bath when the tide is high. Anyhow this is a spectacular place that the sea power has designed and filled with smooth sand for a real pleasure of the eyes. Sourroundings are spectacular as well and other beaches for surfers quite close. You may also appreciate the mountains and the greens in the backyard.

Known as the shortest beach in the world, this is a nice spot to stop by. It can get crowded and it is indeed a small beach but it is very unique due to the fact that there is a channel in the cliff that allows seawater to reach this beach which is basically a sinkhole. Behind the beach you will have some nice views of the cliffs and there is free parking available there.

I think we just chose a bad moment to go, because we were not even able to put our feet in the water. It's cute and small, but many people are coming, and I am sure it's a better idea to visit in the evening or early morning. Parking cost 2,5€.

Don't believe the hype! It is yes maybe one of the smallest beach in the world, but not a reason why to see it. It has nothing special, and a LOT of people are just stopping by, quick photo for Instagram or so, then go. To park there "legally" will set you up €2.50.. but many are parking illegally, i guess an Instagram post is not worth that. Don't waste your time. (And no, no photos. i actually purposely didn't take photo just to not feed the hype.

It's a wonderful place, the water gets into the rocks and it makes a tiny beach. However, it's so tiny and there are so many tourist that it's not worth it to visit more than just to have a look and leave. Definitely it's not the place to spend a day to sunbathe.

Essential place to visit. When the waves of the Cantabrian Sea hit cliff crevices at high tide, they expel water like a geyser. They are very impressive to see and feel. The place is a true paradise. I recommend parking in Llanes de Pria and walking. It is a comfortable ride and avoids encountering problems with the car.

Beautiful beach with nice walk down. We parked in the town due to hight restriction signs and no motorhome signs. Vans were parked up there so I think signs only applied to proper motorhomes and not van conversions. A long walk up the hill and then back down from the town. Waters a bit rough for swimming. Large beach to walk around on. People in swimming costumes and people naked share the beach.

Nice scenery and some nice artwork on the cubic wave breakers. The artwork on the cubes of the outer open waters have started to fade away, but the ones in the bay are still relatively well maintained. Honestly nothing much to see other than the cubes. But there is a nice backdrop of the main cliffs of the mainland shores toward the end of this breakwater.

The town of Llanes sports the Cubos de la Memoria to protect its harbor from the open ocean. They reminded us of piles of bright presents in 2008 when they were apparently covered in fresher paint. Llanes offers a stopover along the Camino de Santiago del Norte or "por la Costa" along the north coast of Spain.

We walked here from Llanes after reading reviews. We went by the cliff path but returned via the road - much better. In English, Poo isn't great, but Poo Bay is superb!👍 Highly recommended for a great day out. We arrived at low tide, but that wat still good, the waves gave us great fun, and the water was soooo warm😀 After about 2 hours, the tide turned, and we enjoyed the larger waves coming in. Later in the afternoon, we had a sidra cider at the beach bar, and it was great👌 A superb day out from Llanes👌

Great little beach. Went at the end of July expecting it to be crowded but there was plenty of space. When the tide is out there's a big expanse of wet sand that is great for very young children.
