We ventured off the main island of Venice to go to Lido so we can have some beach time. Unfortunately the cheapest bungalows were all booked up so we decided to splurge for one on the front row. It was pricy but still half the price of a bungalow at one of the water parks back home and not nearly as nice. The bathrooms were clean and the snack bar had some decent food. The water was calm and fairly warm early in the day but later the wind picked up. Also the beach wasn’t that crowded that day. Not like Santa Monica on a summer weekend.

Great hotel! The room was clean, quiet and air conditioned. All the employees are kind, and I always feel relieved when I come back here. The restaurant is especially nice. Charming hotel that is centrally located. It is a four-minute walk from the park after-busses. Everything was newly renovated so I had the ability to crank the heat up: it was cold and rainy during my stay in Lido. Best of all, there were outlets everywhere to charge devices and to use your electronics.

Ausonia Hungaria was a pleasure to stay at, and redefined what a 5-star hotel experience should be. Having stayed at different hotels in Italy billing themselves as 5-star, I do not say this lightly. The staff were welcoming, the room was top tier, and the breakfast was phenomenal. My partner and I wished to take the hotel with us to visit other cities, but of course such a thing is not possible. Keep it up!

Breakfast to dinner was amazing. Welcoming. Bright and fresh. Staff was amazing. All staff everywhere. Pool service was top notch. I didn’t want to leave. They handle the car parking perfectly. They were helpful in every way to find a babysitter, help with towels, umbrellas, getting something from the car for me while I was out. The lights in the room are annoying. We have a baby and ping at night to the bathroom means the lights automatically turn on. That’s not helpful with a baby. Also, we like to use the toilet in privacy and the glass walls weren’t comfortable. We used the bathroom in the hall to avoid the problem. Terrace view on top is amazing. Outside walls are covered in ceramic and glass. Truly amazing property, food and staff.

Beautiful 1920's style hotel. Great customer service. Air conditioning in the rooms. Perfect location that brings you away from the hustle and bustle of Venice but is close enough to travel back and forth. The waterbus is about a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel and can get you to the main land within 20 minutes to an hour. They have a gorgeous beach here with plenty of restaurants to choose from. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We just dropped in for lunch today totally by surprise without any réservation (we are not guests of the hotel) and I must say we were received by the waiter (his name is Prodip) like Queen and King. He made everything possible to make us comfortable l as if we were at home. The food was fantastique with a huge choice in the menu at very resaonable prices considering the hotel. We have come to Venise several times and this is a place I highly recommande.

We went to the blue moon beach but it was full so we walked down to this beach. We got a cabana for 125 euros. It was expensive and you don’t really get any service. You need to walk up to the bar and order. They speak very little English. We got there late so if you come early there are chairs on a nice grassy area with no view of the ocean. The blue moon beach was full so we walked down to this beach. Two umbrellas and three chairs for 52E, Includes hot showers and toilets. Towels cost extra. The chairs are on a nice grassy area, shaded by trees, the view to the sea is blocked by ugly cabanas. It was a pleasant day. Snack bar has the usual boring pasta and sandwiches- drinks are weak and expensive.

It's expensive 150€ but we felt it was worth it for the day, when the other beaches were full, mostly it was worth it because it was very comfortable. There's a bed, two lounge chairs, a table and two chairs, a changing area and towels. The snack bar and restaurant are just a step away.

Great congress/ event center. Easy to access from anywhere on the Lido. From central Venice it will take around 45 minutes. Great view on the adriatic sea in front.
